making nude and vulgar vi-
deos, uploads them on so-
cial media and earns mo-
ney.” He was arrested by
the Property Cell of the
Mumbai Crime Branch on
July 19 in connection with
the pornography racket
busted in February.
When the police raided
a bungalow at Madh village
in Malad on February 4,
2021, some boys and girls
were found flming and re-
cording nude and vulgar vi-
deos and uploading them
on various online plat-
forms. Investigation re-
vealed that these videos
were going to be uploaded
on a website and mobile
app. Actor Umesh Kamat
confessed that Mr. Kundra
is involved in broadcasting
such videos on apps and
has also made WhatsApp
groups to stay in contact
with the app.
A witness told the police
that Mr. Kundra and his
aide Saurabh Kushwah es-
tablished Arms Prime Me-
dia Private Limited on Fe-
bruary 5, 2019, and the
said company sold the app
to a company named Ken-
rin Limited for $25,000.
On December 11, 2019, Mr.
Kundra resigned from the
company. The police said,

Media Private Limited
which took over the app.

Domestic Violence is a serious crime in a household setting. Such crimes are a part of every society of the world. Spouse, children, elderly people are the victims in domestic violence. Domestic Violence can take place in the form of physical, mental, emotional, verbal abuse.
With every passing year, cases of domestic violence has been increasing rapidly. A significant number of deaths are taking place on an everyday basis due to domestic violence. If the family of the bride fails to fulfill the demands of the groom, the bride gets assaulted by her husband and her in – laws. Not only the newly married women but women married for several years too face violence from their in – laws. These women gets robbed of even their basic human rights and lead an unfortunate life.
In many of the cases, the abuser is psychotic and requires counselling. Besides the abuser, the people who are the mute spectators of domestic violence are equally responsible for the crime. To cope with the growing cases of domestic violence, India launched a campaign called ‘Bell Bajao’ with the motivation to raise voice against domestic violence happening around in the society.
The Government of India enforced many Domestic Violence Acts. In Section 498 – A of Indian Penal Code, rules and regulations have been mentioned. Law deals with the culprits strictly.
Making laws to deal with such violence is undoubtedly necessary but it is not enough. People will have to awake from their slumber and become aware. Every human being deserves honour and respect and it is high time for people to raise their voice to protest against the wrongful activities happening to self and others. CONVERSION THERAPY.
Conversion therapy might be a new term for some of them. So, let us get started by knowing what conversion therapy is exactly about. It is a scientific practice of changing an individual’s sexual orientation from homosexual, bisexual to heterosexual. It is done by using psychological, physical, or spiritual interventions. Conversion therapy is a serious offense to an individual with different sex identities, although it is said that there is no evidence of changing one’s sex orientation via conversion therapy. Medical Institute itself declared that performing this task is inappropriate, not healthy, and is harmful in means of mental health.

On the contrary, they were around the age of 31 and 42.8 percent were assigned male at birth. Into that, 14 percent were been exposed to conversion therapy. Undergoing therapies, likely place a person under a lot of stress by worsening how society makes them feel about their gender equality.
As I wrote gender inequality in my previous article, this therapy would come under the causes and why people have such type of mindset, and why aren’t we developing on this gender-equality thing. India itself is facing major backlash from its LGBTQ community people over the use of conversion therapy.
Last year in May, there was a tragic incident happened in goa. Anjana Harish, a 21-year-old bisexual woman in his, took her life. She posted an online video before her suicide describing herself, she was given 40 injections, and used to be locked in a cell which left her traumatized. This is how she was subjected to conversion therapy in Kerala, which is also her home state. Her family forced her to be in this therapy to become heterosexual. This incident led activists to call for an urgent ban on these unethical practices.
This kind of action just makes this community very uncomfortable. Spreading awareness should be made more normalise, as its high time we accept the fact that homosexuality or queerness is not a mental disorder, in fact it is normal.

Rowling was divorced, jobless, and a single mother of a child at the time, and it was the most trying time of her life. She struggled with acute depression, yet she persisted. She discovered the light at the end of the tunnel when life was dark and dreary, always pushing through the trials and tribulations life threw at her.
Rowling’s life was defined in so many ways by the year 1995. The Harry Potter script was rejected by roughly 12 prominent publications, not one, two, or five. She had been shattered, but she had not been vanquished. She continued to pursue more newspapers, and her efforts were rewarded.The book was accepted for publication by a small publishing house, and only 1000 copies were printed. Things changed quickly after the book won several accolades, including the Nestle Smarties Book Prize and the British Book Award for Children’s Book of the Year.
