Signs that you have a fake friend.

People wear the mask and pretend to be somebody they are not such people are termed to be fake people.
Fake people are genuine people because of a selfish motive always such as attention, sympathy, promotion, etc.

To navigate fake people one should always notice how much attention they try to seek or steal and want to be in the spotlight.

Pleaser
They try to please people because they want some selfish outcome every time. They say yes just to be in the good books but retract after their selfish motive is gained.

Crappy friend
Fake people are bad friends. They don’t try to understand you and your feeling. They would not be there for you when you truly need them.
