are graduates really made for less graduate jobs

There has been a shocking trend all over the world to recruit graduates for all kind of jobs irrespective of their field of specialization. Have you ever wondered why many youngsters are compelled to take up less graduate roles? Why do a Btech graduate is compelled to take up the job of a poon even if he cleared exams without backlogs? The seat allocation must be done in such a manner that , educational institutions generate graduates in required number. Care must be taken that , the supply never outflows the demand of industry. Our country is producing graduates double or triple the number that is actually required. Hence youngsters with even better profile are compelled to take up small jobs .This is because they can’t find jobs in relevant fields.

There must be constant collaboration with industry experts and educational institutions. The curriculum of teaching must be constantly renewed to incorporate new industrial revolutions. Students must be continuously exposed to industry. Renowned persons from the industry must assist institutional authorities in forming the curriculum. Teachers must also be trained a constant intervals to understand the need of industry. If possible lectures from the side of industrial experts must be provided to the students. Programs with a vision to enhance the skills and practical knowledge of students is also necessary. Above all, a method to understand the aptitude of students and track them to right path is required. Youngsters must never be put in a place where they have to regret the decisions they made.

Industrial exposure at the time of study is the most important aspect of modern education. Workshops and internships must be made mandatory in the curriculum. This can really help students to understand what industry really wants. Employers require people with hands on experience. They wont prefer graduates who are good at theories but lack in the practical implementation of it. Hence internships and valued projects can make the young population industry ready. The practical knowledge must be valued more than theoretical expertise by the educational institutions. Country doesn’t require flood of graduates in certain fields. But requires people with expertise in different fields. Young people must be encouraged to take up variety courses rather than sticking to popular ones. Universities must diversify their courses in order to produce graduates specialized in variety of fields.
