As a Research Associate, you commit yourself to contributing actively to research development, scholarly collaboration, and capacity building, particularly for early-career and disadvantaged researchers.

1. Academic Research Support

  • Conduct online-based research activities in multidisciplinary domains as assigned by Track2Training.
  • Assist in problem identification, research design, and conceptual framework development for academic studies.
  • Support quantitative and qualitative data collection, cleaning, basic analysis, and interpretation, wherever required.
  • Prepare research summaries, technical notes, and background papers to support ongoing academic projects.

2. Literature Review and Manuscript Development

  • Carry out systematic and narrative literature reviews using reputed academic databases.
  • Assist scholars in structuring manuscripts in IMRAD/IRAD formats as per journal or publisher guidelines.
  • Provide support in reference management, citation formatting, plagiarism reduction, and language refinement.
  • Help authors align manuscripts with peer-review and ethical publication standards.

3. Publication Support and Academic Mentorship

  • Actively support disadvantaged, early-career, and independent scholars in understanding the academic publication process.
  • Guide authors in selecting suitable journals, edited books, or conference proceedings for publication.
  • Provide mentoring support for first-time authors, especially from resource-constrained backgrounds.
  • Facilitate awareness about open access publishing models, publication ethics, and reviewer expectations.

4. Collaborative Research and Co-Authorship

  • Engage in collaborative research projects initiated through Track2Training.
  • Where academically appropriate, collaborate as a co-author with scholars, ensuring transparent contribution and authorship ethics.
  • Encourage interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers from different institutions and regions.
  • Support scholars in revising manuscripts based on reviewer comments and editorial feedback.

5. Edited Book and Journal Publication Assistance

  • Assist scholars in getting research papers and book chapters published in suitable peer-reviewed platforms.
  • Provide guidance for publication in journals such as the International Journal of Research (IJR) and edited books published through EduPub.
  • Support authors in the submission process for journals and edited books hosted at books.edupub.org.
  • Where applicable, collect open-access publication fees transparently from authors and ensure timely payment to EduPub for journal or book publication, strictly following publisher policies and ethical standards.

6. Capacity Building and Social Responsibility

  • Contribute to Track2Training’s mission of democratizing research and publication access.
  • Help reduce barriers faced by scholars from developing regions, NGOs, and non-funded institutions.
  • Promote ethical, affordable, and inclusive scholarly publishing practices.
  • Support initiatives that enhance research literacy, writing skills, and publication confidence among scholars.

7. Communication and Reporting

  • Receive and respond to research-related assignments via email or online communication platforms.
  • Maintain professional correspondence with authors, editors, and the Track2Training coordination team.
  • Submit timely updates or reports on assigned research, mentoring, or publication-support activities.
