*meaning:

Interview provide employer with an answer opportunity to find out about you and what you know.

They may involves one interview or several people, know as a panel interview.

*guidelines for interview prepartion(before the Interview) –

  1. Research about the company you have applied for
  2. You should know your cv like the back of your hand.
  3. Prepare and practice answer for the most frequently asked questions.
  4. Try to find out as much as you can about the job you have applied for
  5. Keep the clothes to be worn for the interview at least a day in advance
  6. Make sure your nails, teeth, hair, and clothes look clean and orderly
  7. Plan to arrive at least 10 min early, do that you have some time to collect yourself and compose you thoughts.

*during the interview-

  1. Remember the interview begins from the moment you open the door and go it. By the time you walk up, shake hands and sit down, you would have already created the first impression.
  2. A firm handshake and a confident smile with eye contact will never fail to make an impression
  3. Speak slowly and clealy and project your voice
  4. Be sure in you response and avoid using ‘I might’ or ‘I guess.
  5. If you are not sure of how to answer a question, take a moment to think about it. Pausing is perfectly OK and shows you don’t panic under pressure.
  6. Never say anything negative about previous company.
  7. When the interview is over thank the interview for their time and shake hands again.
  8. Be enthusiasm about yourself the jobs and the company.
  9. Shake hands with the interview or each panel number when you enter the door.
  10. Be positive and confidence.

  1. Formal shirt or blouse with formal trousers
  2. Indian formal wear is fine but should be sober
  3. If you are wearing a skirt it should be knee-length or longer
  4. Jewelry should be minimal and subtle
