We are in the midst of a catastrophe. So much has been happening around lately that it has become really difficult to cope up. In the middle of this hardship, we often forget how badly our mental health can be affected. There are people who have anxiety problems, maybe depression, having a pattern of excessive overthinking , is stuck because there is no one to show them a positive viewpoint. Sometimes people who don’t undergo such vexatious things are so busy in their own little world with the petty issues that they often tend to forget to help the people who are actually undergoing agony.
Hope is the most important part of any individual’s life. Hope can be for anything, a hope for a good future with a better job, a hope for a person who thinks you are worthy enough to spend a lifetime with, a hope of getting good grades, a hope of owning a house one day, a hope to travel the world, a hope to build an empire and several more. Hope is the thing that keeps us going. Sadly, in the middle of this crisis, there are many of us who had lost their hope, desire, confidence. They think so low of themselves sometimes that they start to loath themselves which someday can even lead to taking their own lives.
Everyone needs a supporting hand whenever they feel low. A right person or right guidance at the time of darkness can bring a ray of sunshine in anybody’s lives. So it is very important to have a heart that is ready to give. One doesn’t need to do some extravagant things for being that ray of hope. It is the small gestures that count.
Appreciate such people once in a while. Ask them what is bothering them and talk to them about it. Give them time. Tell them how their dreams and goals are waiting to be fulfilled. Tell them of how worthy they are of every ounce of love. Tell them how their presence affects your life. Tell them that they are beautiful in their own ways. Tell them they are perfect and need not change for somebody but themselves.
Be a ray of hope for someone. You don’t know you might just make someone’s day better with your tiny gestures.
