A heallthy level of self respect enables you to have the confident to set firm boundaries .it means knowing what you stand for and what your values are,and being accepting both your strength and weakness .self respect is an inner quality that each individual must take time to develop .self respecf is defined as holding yourself in esteem and believing that you are good and worthy of being treated well.An example of self respect is when you know you deservd to be treated right an as a result you do not tolerate ithers lying to you or treating you unfairly.self respect means having confidence in yourself and behaving with grace,honour,and dignity.A person with self respect doesnt allow other to treat them badly ,and would rather not associate with.self respect is all about treating yourself the way you want others to treat you.
