In today’s context health is very much important, especially during the lockdown period due to COVID-19. Health and fitness plays a vital role. Health is defined as a state of physical, mental, and social wellbeing and not merely physical wellbeing. Health and fitness go hand in hand. Health is very important aspect of fitness.  We have to stay healthy; we have to keep fit. We must concentrate on our fitness if we have to maintain our health. Health is wealth, and we must take care of ourselves. Being healthy does not merely refer to exercising regularly; it is a much vaster concept. We should be conscious about our health now, especially now-a-days.

To concentrate on ways to be fit, we must understand the reasons for which fitness is required. Our lifestyle has changed by and large, and we are more accustomed to eating out. Meals cooked at home are healthier, but our work takes us to different places, and we cannot expect home-cooked meals.

To make up for our lack of eating healthy, we must take proper care of ourselves by exercising regularly. Exercise does not, however, mean that we have to spend our whole day in the gym or we have to give up eating our favourite food.

Obesity has resulted in more health issue and problems. According, to the data the obesity rate has risen all over the years. There are four primary components of fitness, cardio-respiratory capacity, muscular capacity, flexibility, and body composition. Cardio-respiratory helps is intake of oxygen supply. Flexibility helps us in doing yoga and exercises. Muscular capacity helps the muscles to stretch and strengthen. The composition value to be maintained correctly. Increase (or) decrease may result in various health problems.

By enduring daily physical activities, you are not only improving the state and condition of your body, but your state of mind as well. This can benefit your mental state of mind by improving your confidence, and make you feel overall better about yourself and your looks. It is vital to eat our food at proper times. Dieticians suggest us to eat small quantities of food at multiple times. This helps in proper digestion and assimilation of food. We should intake sufficient green, leafy vegetables and a lot of water. Water regulates our body processes and facilitates overall functioning. Food intake plays a vital role in maintaining our body healthy. Food intake have many advantages to keep our Health fit. And also drinking a lot of water will also help in fitness and keeps our body hale and healthy. We must maintain our health and fitness simultaneously. We have busy schedules, but maintaining our health is very much important, and many of us do not find time to exercise. Thus, we must find alternative ways of applying. Walking a certain distance, using stairs instead of elevators and lifts, and maintaining a proper sleep schedule are some ways of staying fit. Sleep is crucial for a healthy and productive life. An individual must sleep for an average duration of eight hours per day
