WEIRD LAWS.

Hi all,
Today I am going to share about the weird laws that being practiced in other countries.

SINGAPORE:
1.ANNOYING OTHERS WITH A MUSICAL INSTRUMENT OR SINGING IN PUBLIC:
Penalty: Up to 3 months in prison or $1,000 fine
According to Singapore Statutes Online, singing, reciting or uttering any obscene song (especially if they contain swear words) in public is illegal.
2.CONNECTING TO SOMEONE ELSE’S WIFI:
Penalty: Up to 3 years in prison and/or $10,000 fine.
Using another person’s wifi is defined as hacking in Singapore.
3.SMOKING IN PUBLIC:
Penalty: $150 – 1,000 fine
Smoking is banned in public places and vehicles.
4.SELLING CHEWING GUM:
Penalty: $100,000 – 2 years in jail
The sale of chewing gum is illegal, bringing it into the country is an offence and spitting it is even worse.

CANADA:
1.IT’S FORBIDDEN TO PAY IN COINS:
paying for purchases with a lot of coins is prohibited. According to the Canadian government, you are allowed to use only 25 loonies (a Canadian one-dollar coin) and 5 coins of 25 cents each.
2.IT’S ILLEGAL TO REMOVE A BANDAGE IN PUBLIC:
If you remove the bandage somewhere in public, including parks or sidewalks, you can consider yourself a criminal.
3.IT’S ILLEGAL TO ACCIDENTALLY SCARE A CHILD TO DEATH:
According to the Canadian government, it’s illegal to scare a sick person or child to death.

JAPAN:
1.YOU CAN’T BE FAT:
Metabo Law, introduced in 2008 (read more about this here) enforces mandatory waist measurements for citizens between the ages of 40 and 74. If you are found to be above the recommended measurements, your company or local authority could be forced to pay a fine on your behalf.
2.YOU CAN’T MAKE YOUR OWN BEER:
Homebrewing anything over 1% potency is illegal in Japan – but equipment for home brewing is sold openly and is readily available.
3.YOU CAN’T SMOKE OUTDOORS:
you can’t smoke on the sidewalks in Japan, you will find numerous designated smoking areas in public outdoor areas that you can use to satisfy your cravings.

CALIFORNIA:
1.1.Women are not allowed to drive a motor vehicle while wearing a houseboat.
2.2.In Blythe, you are only permitted to wear cowboy boots if you own at least two cows.
3.3.Unless it is for amusement or drama, it is illegal for men and boys to dress as females in Walnut without a permit from the sheriff.
4.Flying a kite higher than 10 feet off the ground is also prohibited in Walnut.
