The word love is a powerful word. It is used to express our care and affection towards other. Our first love will always be our mother. God created mother in the form of another god. She can live with us, feed us, help us in dealing with our insecurities and fears. Mothers are precious gift that god gave us. Her love can never decrease in terms of making us feel superior and loved. Immortal love here describes the love of mother for her children. She always stays on duty without complaining about it. The sacrifices done by our mothers should be highly appreciated. She makes their children as a topmost priority and can do everything for them. Since the time a child is born, Her work to make her children strong, independent never stops.
For some of us, Love is to have a supporting partner who can make you happy and fulfill you all desires. It is something that everyone crave to be loved by somebody and get proper attention and affection from them. After some time, This kind of love get irritated and doesn’t feel the same. Love is measured by the amount of attention you get or the expensive items you can gift somebody. It is often treated as a very pure form of love. The love that is based on materialistic things can never be pure and lifelong you can’t keep it secure and safe. Everybody can leave your hand at point but your mother will always be standing behind you. No matter how many mistakes you do, At the end of the day her one hug can convert all wrong things into right. It is very important to realize at the right time before you lose her. The birth and death is not in our control but One thing, We can stick it to is to give respect and love to our parents and family. Give them the happiness that they give when you were small. No great feeling than to see our mother happy.

Burnout – What is it? What are it’s Stages?
“Burnout is nature’s way of telling you, you’ve been going through the motions your soul has departed; you’re a zombie, a member of the walking dead, a sleepwalker. False optimism is like administrating stimulants to an exhausted nervous system.”
― Sam Keen, Fire in the Belly: On Being a Man
In today’s highly competitive and fast-paced environment, it is human nature to over-push yourself and over-stress yourself out.
According to the World Health Organization,
Burn-out is an occupational phenomenon and is not classified as a medical condition.
Burn-out is defined in ICD-11 as follows:
“Burn-out is a syndrome conceptualized as resulting from chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed. It is characterized by three factors:
-feelings of energy depletion or exhaustion;
-increased mental distance from one’s job, or feelings of negativism or cynicism related to one’s job; and
-reduced professional efficacy.
Burn-out refers specifically to phenomena in the occupational context and should not be applied to describe experiences in other areas of life.”
“Burnout” is a comparatively new term, first mentioned by the American psychologist Herbert Freudenberger in 1974, in his book, Burnout: The High Cost of High Achievement. He originally defined burnout as, “the extinction of motivation or incentive, especially where one’s devotion to a cause or relationship fails to produce the desired results.”
The 5 Stages Of Burnout
There may be 5 stages of burnout happening to any working individual. They are:
1. HONEYMOON PHASE
When we join a job or start a new business, we need to take practical steps and make ourselves more aware of the demands of the job/business so that we can actually prevent a possible burnout. We usually face a plethora of good emotions when starting something new and this can actually make us feel more burnt out than we would usually think. We need to take steps to cope and thereby implement positive changes as well as giving importance to our mental well-being. If we develop powerful coping strategies itself, we can stay in this positive phase for as long as we want to.
In the honeymoon phase, people can experience job satisfaction, great productivity, high energy levels, optimism, commitment, creativity, etc.
2. ONSET OF STRESS
After feeling great, there is a moment of realization of certain days becoming more difficult, you might develop negative emotions and be affected physically, mentally as well as emotionally.
Symptoms range from physical difficulties like high blood pressure, heart palpitations, headaches, fatigue, appetite changes, forgetfulness, etc. to mental difficulties like anxiety, inability to focus, avoiding making decisions, etc. Job dissatisfaction, Lack of social interaction, Lower productivity as well as general neglect of personal needs can also be seen in this stage.
3. CHRONIC STRESS
More intense symptoms are observed in this stage. Stress is experienced on a very frequent basis.
Symptoms include no hobbies, Missed work deadlines/targets, Tiredness, Physical illness, Procrastination, Resentfulness, Social withdrawal, escapism, anger issues, exhaustion, Denial of problems, panic, high caffeine consumption, feeling out of control, etc.
4. BURNOUT
Symptoms become critical here. Coping with this situation becomes difficult and it does not feel normal at all.
Symptoms include escapism, emptiness, problem obsession, pessimism, more physical symptoms, self-doubt, isolation, change in behavior, headaches, neglecting personal needs, desire to drop out, and much more.
5. HABITUAL BURNOUT
In this stage, burnout becomes a routine, a trap difficult to escape from. The symptoms have been drilled in your system and people are likely to experience ongoing problems which are physical, mental, and emotional in nature.
Symptoms include depression, chronic sadness, mental and physical fatigue, etc.
Conclusion
The average age of a person getting burnt out is 32. Burnouts can affect anyone at any time in their lives. It is so important to take care of yourself and prevent it as much as possible. Having good lifestyle habits as well as good self-care habits can be very useful to prevent burnout. Getting out of burnout is possible too by addressing the underlying issues and working on them.
Sri Lanka’s one of the worst ecological disasters in History
Burnt-out Container Vessel is sinking in Sri Lanka, which has already endangered the marine life and affected the life of people who depend on the sea in Colombo. X-Press Pearl Singaporean Super Eco 2700-class Container ship on 20th may 2021 caught on fire in the cost of Colombo, Sri Lanka. There were 25 crew members on board and they were evacuated safely.
The vessel, which is 186-meter, carried 1486 containers which includes 25tonnes of nitric acid, other chemicals and plastic raw material. The mv left Hazira port in India on 15th may and was travelling to Singapore via Colombo, where the disaster occurred.
The vessel was on blaze for straight 13 days, it was put off after two weeks of struggle by Sri Lankan Navy, experts from Dutch salvage Company and the Indian Coast Guard. The burnt-out ship is sinking off in the coast with the danger of Oil spill that may occur, the vessel carries 350tonnes of oil in its fuel tank. Marine Environmental Protection Authority (MEPA) said, they are assessing environmental damage and collecting evidence.
Damage Done:
- The wreckage is greatly affecting the aqua habitat causing several marine creatures to die, fishes and turtles were found dead on the shore.
- Plastic pellets from the ship deposited along the country’s beaches and these LDPE( Low-density polyethylene) pellets have also washed off to the nearby island.
- Health experts and Environment Authority have warned that, the emission of nitrogen dioxide could possibly cause mild acid rain in Sri Lanka.
- Sri Lankan authorities banned Coastal Fishing because of the pollution, and about 5600 boats are unable to sail. This will affect 4600 families.
- The Cargo loss of X-Press Pearl could range between $30 million -$50 million in addition to the loss of vessel.
The Disaster brought severe harm, the water region is highly polluted. Marine Environmental Protection Authority (MEPA), termed the incident to be one of the Sri Lanka’s worst ecological disasters in history.
Cyclone Yaas Ravages Odisha and West Bengal
Kolkata, May 27, 2021 : Very Severe Cyclone Yaas with winds gusting up to 155 km per hour made its landfall between north of Dhamra and Bhanga coast in Odisha on May 26, 2021. The name has been given by Oman. ‘Yaas’ means “a Jasmine-like fragrance tree” in persian. Cyclone Yaas was the second cyclonic storm to hit India within a week after ‘Tauktae’. Strong winds and heavy tidal waves lashed several coastal towns and villages in Odisha and West Bengal.
How are cyclones formed?
Cyclones are formed over the oceanic water in the tropical region. In this region, the sunlight is highest which results in warming of land and water surface. Due to warming of the surface, the warm moist air over the ocean rises upwards following which cool air rushes in to fill the void, they too get warm and rise — the cycle continues.
But what creates the spin?
Wind always blows from high pressure to low pressure areas. High pressure areas are created in the cold region while low is created in the warm regions. Polar regions are high pressure areas as the amount of sunlight here is less than the tropical region. So, wind blows from polar regions to tropical regions.
What happens when a cyclone hits the land?
Cyclone dissipates when it hits the land as the warm water that rises and creates space for cool water is no longer available on land. Also, the moist air that rises up forms clouds leading to rains that accompany gusting winds during cyclones.
Cyclone Yaas inundated low-lying areas and uprooted trees, and claimed at least three lives — two in Odisha and one in West Bengal. Farmlands throughout Odisha, West Bengal, and some in Jharkhand were damaged by flooding. Railway and marine activities were halted due to Yaas.Hours before the landfall, in Digha, a coastal town of West Bengal, tall tidal waves breached embankments and flooded villages around a kilometre from the sea. Tajpur, Shankarpur and Mandarmani, all coastal towns were affected by the cyclone. Shops, huts, roads, resorts and hotels along the beach were damaged as the waves pounded them. Over 1,100 villages in West Bengal were submerged in floodwaters caused by storm surges, leaving an estimated 500,000 homeless. Cyclone Yaas ravaged West Bengal badly after cyclone Amphan which formed last year.
The cyclone has damaged more than 3 lakh houses and affected about 1 crore people. 15 lakh people from coastal areas have been evacuated”, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said. She also announced relief for affected people. In the state of Odisha, over 120 villages were flooded by the rains produced by Yaas. Three seaside villages in Balasore district — Banajoka, Charigochhia and Naupalagadi — were inundated. A flash flood was also reported in Basudevpur block of Bhadrak district, affecting 10 villages. People in the village dug up a road to divert seawater that had entered a residential area. Two victims were crushed under trees uprooted by the winds. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday evening reviewed the post-cyclone situation and announced ration and other supplies for the affected people.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met both Chief Ministers of Odisha and West Bengal and announced Rs. 1000 crore for Odisha, West Bengal and Jharkhand.
5 traits crucial to achieve success
“If You Are Working On Something That You Really Care About, You Don’t Have To Be Pushed. The Vision Pulls You.” – Steve Jobs
Success can have several definitions – mainly – it is an accomplishment of an aim or purpose – achieving your goals can also be called success.
We all crave for being successful in life. Some want to achieve extraordinary success, and some are having small goals – however – any goal being achieved is definitely a success. It motivates us and pushes us to have more goals in life as there are many milestones to be achieved. If you are genuinely passionate about something that you are aiming for, no one can stop you from becoming successful.
Certain traits are crucial to attaining success in life – 5 of the most important ones are:
1. Self-confidence
Self Confidence mainly revolves around trusting yourself, your judgments, abilities as well as your skills. You would not be stressed about everything if you are confident about yourself. You can understand yourself and will learn from your mistakes, and gain more confidence. You will take more chances, which will increase your chances of becoming a successful person.
2. Willpower
Willpower is one of the most important traits to possess in your journey to success. It is the ability to control one’s own actions, emotions, or urges. If we do not possess willpower we will never strive to be the best, only willpower can move us forward towards our goals and achievements. People with willpower have the motivation and discipline to create positive as well as successful habits and have a much better chance of succeeding in life. Willpower pushes us to achieve our goals and motivates us too. Successful people set goals for themselves which makes them more focused and willpower then comes into the picture – you end up sacrificing and adjusting your life to achieve success and finish your goal. Willpower is the ability to resist short-term gratification in pursuit of long-term goals or objectives.
3. Hardwork
I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it. ~ Thomas Jefferson, former President of the United States
There is no secret to becoming successful, and hard work plays a massive role in success. Hard work also helps in becoming more confident. There is a guaranteed achievement in working hard as there are no shortcuts to success. It also allows you to lead a regret-free life and a much more fulfilled and respected life.
4. Patience
It takes time for a plant to grow. When you sow a seed, you cannot expect overnight results, if you do so, you will be giving up very soon, and that is quite the opposite of success. Rome was not built in a day, right? Patience is actually the key to success. It is important as with patience, you can keep going to reach your goals, without being much stressed about it. It reduces the negative emotions and helps us have a positive mindset towards life.
5. Eagerness to learn
Thirst for knowledge and skilling up is super important in today’s competitive world, where trends change and new things and innovations keep coming up. It is important to be eager to learn new things to prevent your skillset from becoming obsolete. Eagerness to learn also helps you build the best techniques and the newest skills and knowledge, making you ready to conquer the world and achieve success easily.
Of course, there are many more traits that determine one’s success, however, these five traits are of utmost importance and should be considered as these traits will make the journey of success a lot quicker.
Why We Say Yes
We agree to many requests not because we want to do them, but because we don’t want to be seen as rude, arrogant, or unhelpful. Often, you have to consider saying no to someone you will interact with again in the future—your co-worker, your spouse, your family and friends.
Saying no to these people can be particularly difficult because we like them and want to support them. (Not to mention, we often need their help too.) Collaborating with others is an important element of life. The thought of straining the relationship outweighs the commitment of our time and energy.
For this reason, it can be helpful to be gracious in your response. Do whatever favors you can, and be warm-hearted and direct when you have to say no.
But even after we have accounted for these social considerations, many of us still seem to do a poor job of managing the tradeoff between yes and no. We find ourselves over-committed to things that don’t meaningfully improve or support those around us, and certainly don’t improve our own lives.
Perhaps one issue is how we think about the meaning of yes and no.
Indian Writing in English by Srinivas Iyengar
According to Srinivas Iyengar Indian Literature means is a literature produced in various state like Assam, Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and other states but produced in English language.
The word Indo-Anglican was first used in 1883 in Calcutta “specimen compositions from native students”, Srinivas Iyengar used it in 1943. He advised the Indian writers that English has become as our language, though it is primarily from the Englishmen’s. he asks the Englishmen to welcome and appreciate Indian writers in English, he said that Indian writing in English is compared to Shakuntala and he asks the Indian writers to be gracious and accept the writings.
According to Srinivasa Iyengar there are three types of Indian writers in English. First those who have acquired their education in English schools and universities. Secondly, Indians who have settled in abroad but are constantly in touch in changing the surrounding and traditions of their country of adoption. Finally, those who have acquired English as their second language.
After Independence more journals came in English and university publication is also greater in English. He says the Yeats disapproves of using a foreign language. Another Irish person approves it and said that allowing English will also allow that allowing English will allow Hindi. He says that English is a ruling language in India and also said that both English men and Indians started accepting Indian writing in English.
Indian writers in English had more publication and popularity and also the leaders who are well versed in both native language and English. Toru Dutt, Sarojini Naidu and Sri Aurobindo wrote in English and not in Bengali. They used English to represent the Indian Culture and spirit.
He said some negatives that were pointed on Indian writing in English, they were,
It is called a parasitic literature.
It is like one animal imitating the other.
Felt poor when compared to their own language.
Finally, we are here to see the Indian criticism in Indian writing,
Indian critical works should also have strong standard and base. Translation of terms and tradition from Indian language to English is difficult. An Indian writing must satisfy both Indian and English readers.
We need an experimental critical approach and we should approach this literature with open mind.
China’s Three Child Policy
After so many years of the formulation of the one child policy in China it has now moved to another policy which is the three children policy .
There are certain reasons behind this new policy after so many years and also many lives of the millions of people have been affected by this policy .
Following are a set of key reasons :
Lower Birth Rate = In China only 12 million new born babies are born this year . It is certainly the lowest number of births in China from a long time .
This is not only the first time when the number of births in China is very low . After the one child policy which was first implemented in 1960’s the graph of births has gone down gradually .
They must learn from India in which so many children are born every second and which is about to overtake China’s population in the upcoming years .
Higher Proportion of Old age Population = Old aged people are a burden for the country . The people above the age of 60 years constitute to nearly 60 percentage of the entire China’s population .
As they do not earn any income and do not perform any economic activity they are simply an increasing burden for the economy as a whole . There in no addition in the national income or GDP from such group .
Failure of the Two Child Policy = The government has realized it earlier thereby it set up a two child policy a few years ago . But all its efforts were in vain as it did not showed an fruitful results in favor of the economy .
These were all the reasons that forced the Government of China to formulate a new policy based on which it formed the three child policy .
The sterlite of copper
The Sterlite Copper Plant
The Sterlite Copper Plant in Thoothukudi commissioned an oxygen cylinder bottling plant at an investment outlay of ₹11 crore on Thursday.
According to a press release, the new facility can produce 400 medical-grade oxygen cylinders per day. A senior official at the site said that with the support of overseas technology providers, they were able to implement the processes at a quick pace to capture gaseous oxygen as well.
A supreme Court directive Sterlite had been given permission only to produce oxygen from its plant after the company gave an undertaking to produce and distribute it free of cost from its Thoothukudi facility.
On May 12, the plant started operating, but the following day, , dug to a technical snag ,the production had to be suspended for a week. Since May 19, the company had been producing oxygen and supplying it to many southern district government hospitals. The second plant too has also started generating oxygen. About 500 MT had been distributed so far, the official added.
Sterlite copper to open its copper smelting plant in Thoothukudi to produce oxygen for a four-month period amid surging covid 19 cases. The latest move paves way for the partial reopening of the controversial copper smelter that was closed in 2018 by the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board over pollution concerns.
Responding to the state government’s resolution, Vedanta in a statement said that it was committed to making the entire production capacity of 1,000 tonnes available for the purpose of producing medical grade oxygen and that it was working to dispatch it to critical areas in Tamil Nadu on priority and subsequently across the country
The copper smelter plant was long-opposed by the local residents for polluting their environment as well as causing a range of health problems in the area. It has the capacity to produce 400,000 tonnes of copper cathode a year. In March-April 2018, there were several mass protests against the company’s plans of a proposed expansion.
The protesters allege that the pollution generated by the unit contaminated the water bodies in the region, and claimed that they were facing severe health problems. Environmental activists also expressed concern since copper smelting leads to various kinds of pollution and they must be located far away from the residential areas.
And the important Of copper Copper is a ductile metal and commonly found in nature. It is a pure metal, which is well known for its electrical conductivity. Due to its ductile nature, it is mostly used in construction and plumbing industries throughout the world. Metallic copper can be easily molded or shaped, with the reddish color it is found in mixtures of metals such as brass and bronze.
In the solution This process can be applied not just for Sterlite plant, but also to all copper smelters across the country. However, such environmental projects can be relatively costly and many companies could hesitate. So government can help them with form of subsidies in terms of equipment import. Older plants have a history of polluting the surrounding area, where metal dust may have spread toxic pollutants over wide areas and several years of acid releases can result in greater environmental damage.

Unemployment
India is still not out of the woods as far as unemployment is concerned after a year when the lockdown was imposed to contain the spread of deadly COVID-19 on March 25 last year as pandemic-induced job loss has not tapered off consistently.
The government had imposed a lockdown to curb the spread of the pandemic but this impacted economic and commercial activities and resulted in job loss and later on the exodus of migrant workers which rocked the entire nation.
According to the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE) data, the unemployment rate was recorded at 6.9 per cent in February 2021 which is slightly better than 7.8 per cent in the same month last year and 8.8 per cent in March 2020, during which lockdown was imposed.
The data showed that the unemployment rate had peaked to 23.5 per cent in April and remained at 21.7 per cent in May. It started tapering off from June onward when it was recorded at 10.2 per cent in the month and further improved to 7.4 per cent in July.
However, the unemployment rate again rose slightly to 8.3 in August and improved to 6.7 per cent in September last year, as per CMIE data.
In October, unemployment again rose slightly to 7 per cent and then eased to 6.5 per cent in November last year as per the data.
Impact of Online Learning
The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted all the sectors of society, most importantly, the educational institutions. Schools and colleges are closed in most parts of the country and the government has been encouraging online learning as a method to smoothly continue the education of all students. High-end schools and colleges have managed to conduct this transition from offline to online learning very efficiently. However, for many schools and colleges in our country, this still remains a herculean task.
The challenges of online learning are multifaceted. It’s time for the people to understand all the aspects of this new educational change; the good, the bad and the ugly.
The Good
Online learning helps students go beyond the content taught in class, and help access content on all global platforms and learn the niche of the field they are pursuing. This helps students learn at their own pace, time and schedule. Students can learn from the comfort of their homes, and hence no travel issues are faced.
Students also gain access to recorded lectures, which helps them clear their doubts, as they can always re-watch the videos whenever they want. For some others, who find learning in a large classroom intimidating, this helps them to learn in a relaxed manner. However, when online learning goes from being optional to being the standard form all throughout the nation, which is when it becomes a problem.
The bad
For students reading this article, answer this question. How many of you all keep your videos on during the lectures? I am certain that the numbers will be really less. This is one of the major obstacles faced during online learning. No face to face interaction,
The teacher finds it very hard to conduct their lectures, if they are not able to interact and talk to the students. Sometimes, teachers struggle with the technical aspects of online teaching and are not able to teach as well as they could have, if lectures were taking place in the institution itself. The students’ attention span is limited, and they can’t focus for hours on the laptop/phone, listening to the teachers.
Also the fun aspect of education i.e. educational field trips, experiments, interaction with friends, canteen and lunch breaks and basically all school memories cannot be experienced with online learning. Hence, this inhibits the holistic and overall development of the child, and limits the creativity and imagination of the students.
The Ugly
Students have to connect with the teachers through electric devices i.e. phones and laptops. However, this poses as a problem in rural areas where many people don’t own any devices as such.
While India enjoys a wide geographic and cultural diversity, it also suffers from a huge socio-economic divide. Only a small part of the Indian population has access to online education right now. Interrupted power supply, weak or non-existent internet connectivity, and unaffordability to buy necessary devices are major concerns.
That is not all. With limitations of livelihood in a family, the first ones to receive a blow are often girls. In a recent survey of 733 students studying in government schools in Bihar, only 28% of the girls had smartphones in their homes, in contrast to 36% of the boys. These smartphones almost always belonged to male adults, often being lesser accessible to girls than boys, and half of these families could not afford internet data packages.
Hence, immediate measures should be taken to ensure that online learning can be accessed by every single student to ensure that the pandemic does not disrupt the education of the youth.
The habit of Reading: An Exercise of the Mind
“There is more treasure in books than in all the pirate’s loot on Treasure Island.”- Walt Disney
How does one increase his/her attention span, knowledge, and emotion quotient at the same time? Well, the answer is only a single word – Reading. The fact that reading is such an essential habit to develop cannot be stressed enough, it is not just a habit it’s an exercise of the mind. Just as our body requires exercise to function well our brain also requires exercise to develop better and reading does just that.
Understanding the written words is one way by which our mind gro
ws in its ability. Reading exposes us to new information, new things, new places, and new people too. Reading books provides the luxury of traveling to different places from the comfort of our homes. By reading books, we get to travel places that we won’t be able to see in real life and we get to meet people we won’t be able to meet in real life.
Reading is good for everyone, not only kids but also adults.
Why is reading so important?
Reading takes us to a whole different world of imagination. When we read with a focus in silence, our brain becomes clearer and we are able to connect. This helps us to link things to one and another, structure things, and plan solutions. It helps to increase our attention span and fills us up with great amounts of knowledge. Reading broadens our horizons and helps us improve our communication skills by expanding vocabulary.
Reading is also well known to reduce stress and anxiety. Through reading, we are exposed to think in a new way and explore different angles to view something we have known for a long.
Advantages of Reading
Some of the major benefits that one can derive from reading are
Better vocabulary
When we read, we come across so many new words, so many new phrases which we have never heard of. With children, it not only helps with vocabulary but also with learning how to pronounce these words correctly from the start.
Critical thinking
Developing critical thinking is one of the primary benefits of reading books. For example, if one is reading a piece of fiction say a mystery novel or a thriller novel it forces the reader to think and find their way to the climax. Or if the one reads a book that is non-fiction it makes the reader think whether the author is right or wrong or whether their opinion matches with that of the author.
Improves writing skills
Just as we are influenced by the artists and the influencers who we see on Instagram nowadays; similarly, we are influenced by a well-written book. When we read well-written books, it affects our ability to write better as we observe different styles of writing.
Effective communication skills
Reading plays a vital role in improving communication skills by perfecting our oratory skills. It helps us learn new words and perspectives. It helps us strengthen language and sharpens sentence structure. It provides a better command over the language.
Increases focus and concentration
Today when we all are surrounded by the internet and all our attention is diverted to social media and streaming services like Netflix, our ability to concentrate and focus is compromised one way or the other. When we read, we devote all our attention to the story and we tend to absorb details and the rest of the world just moves away. Reading can be a good break from continuous use of smartphones and interaction with the world through social media.
Reduces stress and Anxiety
Stress and anxiety are known to disturb our mental health. In current times when people are stressed or anxious about not one but multiple things like lifestyle, work, health, peer, etc., books of different genres like romance, science fiction, autobiographies, etc helps as a stress buster and helps us be calm and relaxed. By reading people get the time to take their minds off of work-related tensions.
Conclusion
Reading should be made a non-negotiable habit in one’s life. The benefits of reading are remarkable. Books are our best companions, they just give, give and give. It’s up to us how much knowledge we want to gather.

GAMING – good or bad?
“You know what’s really exciting about video games is you don’t just interact with the game physically—you’re not just moving your hand on a joystick, but you’re asked to interact with the game psychologically and emotionally as well. You’re not just watching the characters on screen; you’re becoming those characters.” – Nina Huntemann, Game Over
When most people think of video games they see little use for them besides being a source of entertainment or as a waste of time.
But most young kids see video games as a social activity, rather than an isolating one, and they believe video games are a great way to spend time with their peers or even make new friends.
Although it is true that there are negative effects associated with playing video games, with proper guidance there is so much that can be gained from the positive effects of playing video games.
Some psychologists suggest that video games can actually have many benefits, especially bearing in mind that the nature of these games has changed dramatically and now they are more complex and realistic .
So, in order to understand the impact video games have on children’s development, we need to look at both the positive and the negative effects of these games.
Some pros are- problem solving and logic , Hand-eye coordination, fine motor and spatial skills, Planning, resource management and logistics, Multitasking, simultaneous tracking of many shifting variables and managing multiple objectives, Strategy and anticipation and memory..
Some negative effects are- Aggression in Children, Gaming Addiction and Poor academic performance..
So as we can see gaming can be both good and bad ..all it really depends on is how children use it and the guidance they get.
Doing the Best We Can With What We Have
- Accepting that all models are wrong in certain instances is not a license to ignore the facts. As a society, we should search for better answers, look for evidence, and strive to increase the accuracy of our knowledge.
At the same time, there is a common peril on the other end of the spectrum. Too many people waste time debating if something is perfectly correct, when they should be focusing on if it is practically useful.
We live in a world filled with uncertainty, but we still need to get things done and make decisions. It is our responsibility to develop a way of thinking about the world that generally fits the facts we have, but to not get so gummed up thinking about things that we never actually do anything. As Harvard professor Daniel Gilbert puts it, “The world doesn’t have the luxury of waiting for complete answers before it takes action.”
Impartial answers are the best we have. Focus on what is practical and take action. All models are wrong under some circumstances, but the important thing is if they are generally useful.
CRYPTOCURRENCY (BITCOINS)
CRYPTOCURRENCY [BITCOINS]:
HELLO! Readers here is a new essay about cryptocurrency:

Still now many are unaware of CRYPTOCURRENCY , crypto-currency, or in a short way, crypto referred to as a digital currency in which transactions are verified and records maintained by a decentralized, which means (controlled by several local offices or authorities rather than one single one) system using cryptography, which means (the art of writing or solving codes) rather than by a centralized authority.
Many cryptocurrencies are decentralized network based on blockchain techonology-a distributed ledger enforced by a despirate network of a computers. This decentralized structure allows them to exist outside the control of government and central authorities.
WHY CRYPTOCURRENCY?
Cryptocurrencies hold the promise of making it easier to transfer funds directly between two parties, without the need for a trusted third party like a bank or credit card company.
POINTS TO KNOW ABOUT CRYPTOCURRENCY:
- The word “cryptocurrency” is derived from the encryption techniqunes which are used to secure the network.
- still of now no one knows who created Bitcoin.
- Bitcoin has been valued at less than a penny.
- There are over 5,000 different currencied.
- CHINA is the biggest cryptocurrency miner.
- They are taxable.
- Cryptocurrency can’t be physically banned.
- The total amount of bitcoins is limited like gold or oil.

ADVANTAGE OF CRYPTOCURRENCY:
- Modern cryptocurrency systems come with a user “wallet” or account address which is accessible only by a public key and pirate key. The private key is only know to the owner of the wallet.
- Funds transfer between two parties will be easy without the need of third party like credit/debit cards or banks.
- Payments are safe and secured and offer an unprecedented level of anonymity.
- It is a cheaper alternative compared to other online transactions.
- Funds transfer are completed with minimal processing fees.
DISADVANTAGE OF CRYPTOCURRENCY:
- There is concern that cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are not rooted in any material goods. Some research, however, has identified that the cost of producing a Bitcoin, which requires an increasingly large amount of energy, is directly related to its market price.
- Payments are not irreversible.
- The almost hidden nature of cryptocurrency transactions makes them easy to be the focus of illegal activities such as money laundering, tax-evasion and possibly even terror-financing.
- Cryptocurrencies are not accepted everywhere and have limited value elsewhere.
CRYPTOCURRENCY IN DAILY LIFE:
- Authentication/Digital Signatures.
- Time Stamping.
- Electronic Money.
- Secure Network Communications.
- Disk Encryption.
BITCOIN:

Bitcoin is a DIGITAL CURRENCY that was created in January 2009. It follows the ideas set out in a whitepaper by the mysterious and pseudonymous Satoshi Nakamoto. The identity of the person or persons who created the technology is still a mystery. Bitcoin offers the promise of lower transaction fees than traditional online payment mechanisms and, unlike government-issued currencies, it is operated by a decentralized authority.
CONCLUSION:
In addition to battling the current economic system, cryptocurrencies have some internal challenges to overcome. Attempting to convert the entire world financial system to the BitCoin model, for example, could cause such a massive growth in blockchain size that the distributed ledger model would become impractical. On the whole, we came to know some infromative contents about cryptocurrency and its pros and cons.Hope you people make use of it affordably.

Change Your Life Without Changing Your Entire Life
- You are 2x to 3x more likely to follow through with a habit if you make a specific plan for when, where, and how you are going to implement it. This is known as an implementation intention.
- You should focus entirely on one thing. Research has found that implementation intentions do not work if you try to improve multiple habits at the same time.
- Research has shown that any given habit becomes more automatic with more practice. On average, it takes at least two months for new habits to become automatic behaviors.
This brings us to the punchline of this article…
The counterintuitive insight from all of this research is that the best way to change your entire life is by not changing your entire life. Instead, it is best to focus on one specific habit, work on it until you master it, and make it an automatic part of your daily life. Then, repeat the process for the next habit.
The way to master more things in the long-run is to simply focus on one thing right now.

The Idea in Practice
The creative process used by Frederic Eugene Ives offers a perfect example of these five steps in action.
First, Ives gathered new material. He spent two years working as a printer’s apprentice and then four years running the photographic laboratory at Cornell University. These experiences gave him a lot of material to draw upon and make associations between photography and printing.
Second, Ives began to mentally work over everything he learned. By 1878, Ives was spending nearly all of his time experimenting with new techniques. He was constantly tinkering and experimenting with different ways of putting ideas together.
Third, Ives stepped away from the problem. In this case, he went to sleep for a few hours before his flash of insight. Letting creative challenges sit for longer periods of time can work as well. Regardless of how long you step away, you need to do something that interests you and takes your mind off of the problem.
Fourth, his idea returned to him. Ives awoke with the solution to his problem laid out before him. (On a personal note, I often find creative ideas hit me just as I am lying down for sleep. Once I give my brain permission to stop working for the day, the solution appears easily.)
Finally, Ives continued to revise his idea for years. In fact, he improved so many aspects of the process he filed a second patent. This is a critical point and is often overlooked. It can be easy to fall in love with the initial version of your idea, but great ideas always evolve.

CYBERBULLYING :- A THREAT
There are lot of hate comments and hate speech have always been shared through social media which makes it less safer for young generation. Despite all the benefits, Cyberbullying is also one of the outcome of Social media. Cyberbullying can be easily explained as when somebody try to degrade you in public platform by the words they use for you. Harsh and hate speech can never considered cool. Anybody can create fake identity on any of the social media as they consider it a weapon to hurt somebody. Not many people mind their own business, always try to invade in someone’s privacy and disrespect others.
Cyberbullying can be a consider a big threat of having safe environment on online sites. It becomes very hard to find out someone who is having fake profile and picture. The trollers are just some useless people who are unemployed. The mindset of trollers are filled with trash, which they try to show the vulgarity in social media . So many cybercrime department have been introduced by the government . Anybody can report their problem and Cybercrime department always try to help others.
It is our prime responsibility to stay away from stranger on social media and try to keep our children safe from the negativity . It is very easy to harm somebody’s confidence by meaningless comments but very hard to spread positivity and help others by giving them valuable compliments. It can actually build their confidence and make them rise and shine brighter.
Electronic waste: Generation, Management and Disposal

In today’s day and age, one will hardly be able to find a person without a smartphone or a laptop! What is interesting is that in a regular household with say four people would mean four different smartphones, one or maybe two laptops. But what happens when these smartphones and laptops are replaced with a new ones? In the case of smartphones, it has been observed that on average, most people replace their smartphones every two years. So, what happens to old ones? What happens to their chargers and other electronics which came with them? This was only about a single household, now imagine several households and many industries which operate solely on electronics. Where all this waste goes? How are these disposed of?
The growth of IT and communication sectors and the global market of electronics and electrical equipment go hand in hand. Over the recent past, the IT and communication sector has increased the usage of electronics exponentially. We see new electronic products being launched daily. This fast up-gradation of electronic products forces consumers to discard the old electronics rapidly which in turn, adds to more and more e-waste. This growing problem of rapid generation of e-waste is a serious concern and a threat to our environment which needs proper management and disposal strategies.
What is e-waste exactly?
e-waste can be defined as any electronic appliance such as a refrigerator, computer, mobile phone, laptop, television, camera, etc., or even parts of such appliances like cables, wires, batteries, electronic chips, drives, etc which are not in use anymore.
This can be divided into three main categories which are:
(i) Large household appliances
Refrigerators, washing machines, etc.
(ii) IT and Telecommunications
Personal computers, laptops, etc.
(iii) Consumer equipment
TVs, mobile phones, mp3 players, etc.
e-waste challenges in India
This increase in the volume of e-waste is problematic. India ranks 177 amongst the bottom five countries on the Environmental Performance Index 2018, as per a report released at World Economic Forum 2018.
Studies show that India generates more than two million tonnes of e-waste annually. One of the reasons for this huge number is the lack of proper e-waste management and disposal system. Because of the dumping that takes place in open dumping sites the groundwater is contaminated which leads to health issues as the toxic contaminants reach the human body and animals through the contaminated groundwater. The health hazards ranging from liver and kidney damage to various types of neurological disorders. The waste disposed of in landfills reaches agricultural fields which in turn affects humans and animals.
The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) and KPMG study, Electronic Waste Management in India identified that computer equipment accounts for almost 70 percent of e-waste followed by telecommunication equipment phones (12 percent), electrical equipment (8 percent), and medical equipment (7 percent) with remaining from household e-waste.
What can be done?
It has been observed that almost all e-waste consists of some recyclable material which includes plastic, glass, and metals. Recycling helps in the recovery of certain valuable metals and other materials from electronics which promotes the reduction the pollution, conserving landfill spaces, and creating employment.
According to EPA, recycling one million cell phones can recover 75 pounds of gold, 772 pounds of silver, 35,000 pounds of copper, and 33 pounds of palladium.
Recycling can be very beneficial to the environment. By utilizing used and unwanted materials as industrial feedstock can help recycling work.
Educating people about how to reduce, reuse and recycle unwanted electronics at all levels can be advantageous for the environment. Campaigns should be organized for spreading awareness about environment-friendly e-waste management programs.
Conclusion
e–waste management and disposal can be a challenging process but to keep the groundwater pollution-free and environment clean and reduce the number of diseases caused due to poor e-waste disposal, we need to come with better plans and strategies for the management and disposal of e-waste.

Rural Development – the need of the hour
India is a diverse nation and one of the most challenging areas of India is majorly included in the rural regions. Rural areas are known as villages and have extremely less population per square kilometer. Even though the population per square kilometer is significantly less, most of the population in India resides in rural areas. The socio-economic census data (2011) revealed that almost 73% of the households were in rural areas. A good amount of GDP arises through rural regions as a significant amount of income is generated by people residing in rural regions through agriculture, Cottage Industries, Pottery, self-employment, services, construction, and much more.
Importance of Rural Development
Rural Development implies the actions taken for developing rural areas to improve India’s economy and to improve the standard of living in rural areas.
Rural development is the need of the hour because the majority of the population resides in rural regions. India’s economy can be improved drastically if the rural regions are developed. Necessities are not accessible in the rural regions and rural development is important because it will make basic needs accessible.
Some areas need to be developed in rural areas urgently, they include Education, Public Health, Sanitation, Women Empowerment, Employment, and much more.
Objectives of Rural Development
The main objectives of developing rural regions by the government are:
1. Improving productiveness & wages of people residing in rural regions
2. Increasing the standard of living of people residing in rural regions
3. Increasing employment and working towards demolishing unemployment
4. Providing basic needs
… And so on.
Rural Areas & Urbanization
India, in today’s time, has its focus on urban areas. Urban cities are expected to be the main form of growth while the potential of rural regions is mostly ignored. The existing reality and the plight of the rural areas need to be considered. Rural India is far more behind than Urban India in almost most aspects.
Various indicators conclude the importance of rural development in India:
1. Majority of families living in rural regions have a monthly income of less than Rs. 5000.
2. More than half of the rural families do not own land and are into casual labor. Close to 97 percent of the rural employment is in agriculture and informal jobs.
3. The rate of poverty reduction is higher in Urban Areas than the Rural Areas.
4. Rural literacy rate is lower than the urban literacy rate.
5. Rural Regions lack health and sanitation facilities more than the urban regions.
Conclusion
The nature of rural areas has changed as globalization as well as urbanization increased.
Rural development is extremely crucial for the overall development of the country. The majority of Indians are dependent on agriculture and one-third of rural India is still below the poverty line. Therefore, the government needs to develop rural regions and provide them with a better standard of living. Rural India Development is extremely crucial, especially in today’s extremely challenging times. The solutions to the challenges faced by rural people are complicated and funding is not the solution. Funding cannot solve the majority of issues, one of the main ones being poverty. It is a temporary solution. In the long run, skills and opportunities can make a huge difference in developing rural areas.
Villages have taken a backseat in almost every aspect of socio-economic analysis. The balance between urban and rural development is a must for the well-being of the country especially during COVID where the rural areas have been severely affected and the lack of basic facilities has made the situation for them even worse.
“The environment needs your help”
Read the news on any given day, and you’d think we were all soon-to-be goners from climate change. New stories and reports regularly reveal all the ways humans are trashing the planet at an unprecedented rate.
Given the seemingly dismal reality, we might be tempted to throw up our hands and say there’s nothing we can do to fix the problem. But defeatism won’t get us anywhere.
Governments and corporations need to step in, but they shouldn’t bear all the responsibility for making a positive environmental impact. People from all walks of life can do things each day to reduce their carbon footprint and make their routine more eco-friendly.Becoming an environmental warrior doesn’t require a superhero-like effort. Something as simple as creating a grocery shopping list or using ceramic baking pans can make a big difference.Inact, a healthy lifestyle and an eco-conscious oneoften go hand in hand. Extra bonus: Being eco-friendly is often easier on the wallet.
The most obvious ways to help the environment are to conserve energy and use less water. But if you put on your green thinking cap, you can come up with lots of less obvious, but no less important, earth-friendly habits.Need jump start? Read on to learn a few simple day-to-day strategies to help the environment. You might be surprised at how much they help you in the process.
How to help the environment: Keep the car at home ;
Some Americans have swapped out their cars for eco-friendly modes of transport like walking, biking, and public transportation for good reason.
Along with helping to save money and improve fitness, leaving the car in the garage also reduces the amount of dangerous greenhouse gases (which are responsible for a large chunk of climate change) we release into the environment. One powerful way to minimize the environmental impact of driving is to trade in your clunker for a more eco-friendly vehicle. For other (less costly) options, try these tips to get you where you need to go.
Bike to work
Despite snazzy cycling accessories like the invisible bike helmet and gloves with light-up turn signals, fewer Americans are riding their bikes to work.Trusted Source . If more people commuted on two wheels instead of four, experts estimate we could reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 11 percent by 2050.Trusted Source One study found that half of all car trips were less than 3 miles. Given the short distance, cycling or walking could easily substitute for 41 percent of these trips, saving nearly 5 percent in carbon emissions.
Walk it off
Motoring on two feet is a lot more energy-efficient than cruising on four wheels. Walking obviously isn’t a viable choice if you’re headed to see family across the country, but as long as you stay local, you can sneak more foot action into your daily routine and cut down on carbon emissions in the process.
Go public
The thought of squishing into a crowded train car might be a big turnoff to some would-be commuters, but think of all the upsides. Riding the rails creates extra time to catch up on emails, read a juicy novel, or get just a little more shut-eye. Plus it does wonders for the health of our planet. Switching to the subway or metro cuts greenhouse gas emissions by 76 percent per passenger mile compared to driving your own car. Taking the bus drops emissions by 33 percent per passenger mile over commuting solo.Trusted Source
More ways to help the environment: Reduce food waste
Everyone talks about how much food we eat, but what about the food we don’t eat? Americans toss out 133 billion pounds of food each year. That means about 40 percent of our food supply goes straight into the trash. Trusted Source If people around the world saved just one quarter of the food they now waste, we could end global hunger. Trusted Source But instead of filling empty plates, that wasted food usually ends up in landfills, where it eventually turns into a destructive greenhouse gas called methane.Wasting food also squanders the resources (like water and energy) that went into the production of that food. Here are some easy ways to shop and eat more efficiently to waste less food.
Save the environment by using less packaging
Disposable plates, plastic forks, and ketchup packets are small, but they add up. Food packaging and containers create 39 million tons of waste annually — nearly one quarter of solid waste produced in the United States. Trusted Source .A whole lot of those containers end up in landfills, where they release more methane into the air.The good news is that many companies are becoming more aware of how much food packaging they use and taking steps to reduce it (edible wrappers, anyone?).
Is Privacy not Private anymore?
The IT Rules 2021 (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code), on 25th Feb have announced that, the social media intermediaries providing messaging function and which has more than 50 lakh registered users should oblige to the condition of ensuring chat traceability to find the originator of the information on their platforms. WhatsApp on 25th May sued the Indian Government as the new rules asks for the users information to be tracked and Stored, which is the opposite of their end -to- end encryption service. For the message to be traced, encryption has to be broken which is the fundamental feature that makes users to trust the service and exchange information.
A release by Ministry of Electronics and IT said, “the traceability measure will be used by the law enforcement as the last resort” and only on specific situation such as to prevent, identify offence that affects sovereignty and integrity of India or child sex abuse material, punishable with imprisonment.
Privacy at Stake:
WhatsApp is a messaging service that provides end -to- end encryption service to the users which allows only the sender and the receiver to know the content. There are about 400 million users of this messaging service in India whose privacy would be at stake if the rule is enacted. Encryption feature enables privacy protection, breaking it would be violation of privacy.
This rule will affect the right to show one’s opinion without hesitation, the work of journalists, social activists, voice of people against unethical acts etc., Sharing of personal and important information will become a question mark.
WhatsApp’s contention that “requiring messaging apps to ‘trace’ chats is the equivalent of asking us to keep finger print of every single message sent…and fundamentally determines right to privacy”
The existing law itself can already have access to encrypted data under Section69(3) of the IT Act. It can still seek unencrypted data, meta data and digital traits from intermediaries like WhatsApp. By this rule the law will be able to find the offender but at what cost, thousands of people’s freedom and privacy is on the line
It’s just a normal thing….

Media a Bad influence or a Good one?
Media is a very power tool. It influences not only the young mind’s but the older one’s too, such an important weapon was sometimes used in a very wrong by many people. It is said that the fastest means of information projector in this world is media but unfortunately public is also utilizing it in a wrong way they take the content which they want instead they have never thought this thing called what is reality?
the worst and sad part is media which is the biggest social platform in this society or the world doesn’t cover the news which actually should be covered rather than they curry the favors and provide the info which is far from reality. Is this the actual influence which should be grab by the public or the young minds? the answer is No certainly not media should cover the news which is actually a news and peice of info which need attention then it should be published or project then the public or young minds gather their attention and make decision which is certainly important their life.
the conclusion is media a good influencer but if it has not performed it’s part or it is not utilized in a certain way it should be used then it is a definitely gonna be a bad influencer so whatever it is it depends on us. make use most of it have fun but in limits have gain but it limits
Education…Is it mandatory?
People think having outer knowledge is boon to their lives but having knowledge with utmost certainty of least idea what goes around he world is dangerous, so here comes EDUCATION

Education is something which helps to gain knowledge, learn things in systematic procedure and to implement the knowledge or the things which we learn in real life there comes the word called EXPERIENCE, which is why many in our country or across the globe fight for education.
yes the education is mandatory in ones life as it gives us the power to enhance the wrong which is going around us we can stop by using correcting means of source and the best thing part is we will know that what it actually means by the proverb called ‘Art Of Living’. we will have this amazing exposure to learn from the world called imagination and creation ,as these are the thing which shape the youth mind’s and helps many talented people to reach their destination. hence lets educate ourselves in a good way to make our future ready.
YOGA – NATURAL IMMUNE BOOSTER
A Better Body Image
Yoga develops inner awareness. It focuses your attention on your body’s abilities at the present moment. It helps develop breath and strength of mind and body. It’s not about physical appearance.
Yoga studios typically don’t have mirrors. This is so people can focus their awareness inward rather than how a pose — or the people around them — looks. Surveys have found that those who practiced yoga were more aware of their bodies than people who didn’t practice yoga. They were also more satisfied with and less critical of their bodies. For these reasons, yoga has become an integral part in the treatment of eating disorders and programs that promote positive body image and self-esteem.
Becoming a Mindful Eater
Mindfulness refers to focusing your attention on what you are experiencing in the present moment without judging yourself.
Practicing yoga has been shown to increase mindfulness not just in class, but in other areas of a person’s life.
Researchers describe mindful eating as a nonjudgmental awareness of the physical and emotional sensations associated with eating. They developed a questionnaire to measure mindful eating using these behaviors:
- Eating even when full (disinhibition)
- Being aware of how food looks, tastes and smells
- Eating in response to environmental cues, such as the sight or smell of food
- Eating when sad or stressed (emotional eating)
- Eating when distracted by other things
The researchers found that people who practiced yoga were more mindful eaters according to their scores. Both years of yoga practice and number of minutes of practice per week were associated with better mindful eating scores. Practicing yoga helps you be more aware how your body feels. This heightened awareness can carry over to mealtime as you savor each bite or sip, and note how food smells, tastes and feels in you mouth.
A Boost to Weight Loss and Maintenance
People who practice yoga and are mindful eaters are more in tune with their bodies. They may be more sensitive to hunger cues and feelings of fullness.
Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood. People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.
Enhancing Fitness
Yoga is known for its ability to soothe tension and anxiety in the mind and body. But it can also have an impact on a person’s exercise capacity.
Researchers studied a small group of sedentary individuals who had not practiced yoga before. After eight weeks of practicing yoga at least twice a week for a total of 180 minutes, participants had greater muscle strength and endurance, flexibility and cardio-respiratory fitness.
Class 12 Board exam cancelled ( PM says safety of the students it’s very important)
Class 12 Board Exams Cancelled,
PM Says Safety Of Students Most Important
Class 12 board exams conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) have been cancelled.
There will be no Class 12 board exams this year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday, ending weeks of anxiety among students and parents over the Covid situation in the country. The decision was taken because of “uncertain conditions” due to COVID-19 and based on feedback from different stakeholders, said his office.
Students should not be forced to appear for exams in such a stressful situation,” a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office The health and safety of our students is of utmost importance and there will be no compromise on this aspect,” said the statement, quoting PM Modi. Both CBSE and CISCE Class 12 exams have been cancelled.
Government of India has decided to cancel the Class XII CBSE Board Exams. After extensive consultations, we have taken a decision that is student-friendly, one that safeguards the health as well as future of our youth,” PM Modi tweeted.
The CBSE will now take steps to compile the results of Class 12 students according to “well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner”, the PMO release said. Like last year, students who still want to take the exams will be given a chance when the situation improves, said the government.
The decision was announced shortly after PM Modi’s meeting with key ministers and officials from various related ministries and stakeholders.
COVID-19 has affected the academic calendar and the subject of board exams was causing immense anxiety among students, parents and teachers, which had to be put to an end,” said the PMO statement.
The decision comes two days ahead of a Supreme Court hearing in which the Centre is expected to file its reply on a petition seeking exactly this. The court had posted the hearing to June 3 after the Centre requested time.
At a meeting on May 23, the CBSE had recommended that the exams be held between July 15 and August 26. It also suggested two options: regular exams in 19 major subjects at notified centers and shorter-duration exams at schools where the students are enrolled
A majority of states had favored holding the exam, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal had said after that meeting. Mr. Pokhriyal was on Tuesday admitted to AIIMS hospital in Delhi with post covid complications
The Prime Minister asserted that the decision has been taken in the interest of students and that the anxiety among students, parents and teachers must be put to an end.The CICSE had last week asked its affiliated schools to submit data, including average of marks obtained by Class 12 students in Class 11 and during this session. The board had postponed Class 12 exams which were scheduled from May 4 in light of the devastating second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic
The 12 Board exam cancelled . In the prime Minister “said” to the students safety and security it’s very important for the students.

Effects Of Pandemic
The pandemic i.e. Covid 19 has devastated the economy of the entire world . Only one country which is least affected by this pandemic is China . Our entire life has been changed forever .
No one has ever thought has the world can see such a time when the GDP of India will fall by a whooping 8 percentage which is one of the largest fall of all times .
Not only India but also most other countries other than China have faced the devastating effects of this pandemic . Be it developed countries like the USA , Russia , Britain or be it developing or the underdeveloped countries like that of India , and other African countries and Asian countries . The life can never be the same again .
Let us see some of the changes that this recent pandemic has brought in our life :
Education System : The education system is the basis for every economy of the world . A good education is very important for a child’s mental and physical growth .
The pandemic has totally shattered the same . In India ,one has never thought even in its dreams that the entire education system would be online as a result of an outrageous pandemic .
Now only those which are fortunate enough that they can afford to study digitally are now getting a proper education.
Increasing Income Inequality : The pandemic has bought around 150 million people below the poverty line in the world .
The gaps between the poor and the rich which was very high even before the pandemic in some of the developing countries has risen further .
Higher Birth Rate , Unemployment and Poverty :
All the three terms mentioned above are related to each other in some way or the other . When people who are less skilled or their work cannot be done over he mobile phone are in a great trouble .
They are unemployed now ad have no work to do other than making babies , which has caused high birth rates in our country .
EQUALITY
Gender equality is a human right first and foremost. A woman has the right to live in dignity, free from hunger and fear. Women’s empowerment is also a critical strategy for achieving development and alleviating poverty. Women who are empowered increase the health and productivity of their families and communities, as well as the chances for future generations.
Discrimination against women and girls remains the most pervasive and persistent form of inequality, including gender-based violence, economic discrimination, reproductive health disparities, and harmful traditional practises. During and after humanitarian emergencies, particularly armed conflicts, women and girls face enormous hardship.
They typically have less access to medical care, property ownership, credit, training, and employment than men do. They are far less likely than men to be politically active and far more likely to be victims of domestic violence.
Equality between men and women exists when both sexes are able to share equally in the distribution of power and influence; have equal opportunities for financial independence through work or through setting up businesses; enjoy equal access to education and the opportunity to develop personal ambitions.
The first step towards women empowerment is educating a girl child. It is said that when you educate a woman, you educate the whole society. With good education, girls can get high paying jobs and consequently wage gaps could be lowered. Increased health awareness prevents early pregnancy and malnutrition. When women have more freedom, they can involve in unexplored areas like politics.
Marine Plastic Pollution
Plastic is a synthetic organic polymer made from petroleum, and has wide uses in packaging, building, construction and household materials. If you look around, you will easily be able to spot a plastic item, be it sports equipment or electrical devices. Yes, plastic is used everywhere and is very important because of its lightweight structure and malleable properties. But here is the flipside to it.
Nearly 300 million tons of plastic is produced every year, with half of it being used to make single-use items such as shopping bags, toothbrush and straws. Even a bag of chips is made of plastic and is discarded as soon as the chips are consumed. Now get this. About 8 million tons of plastic end up in our oceans every year. Water plastic makes up 80% of all marine debris.
Plastic can be present in surface waters as well as deep sea sediments. If you thought deep sea trenches could escape plastic, you are in for a surprise. A plastic bag, one that you give away in a grocery store, was found in the Mariana Trench at depths of 10,975 meters (36,000 feet).
Plastic poses a threat to marine life. Hundreds of marine species ingest the plastic debris which can cause lacerations and injuries. Entanglement and suffocation of fishes and other organisms are a major cause of death. Plastic, when incinerated leads to emissions of carbon dioxide, which increases the temperature of the atmosphere. This leads to global warming, a threat prevalent in all parts of the world, especially the Polar Regions, which are witnessing rapid melting of glaciers and increase in the water level in oceans. Plastic waste threatens food quality and health, and also affects coastal tourism.
In these times, governments of several different countries are taking steps to tackle this threat of marine plastic pollution. Equipped with research, technology and innovation, one can slowly but surely reduce the overall plastic consumption.
One interesting project which occurred recently was introduced by the World Bank. They invited youth all across India to take a deep dive into the problems of mismanaged plastic waste and come up with innovative ideas to counter the tide. Well, the response was overwhelming. Every team came up with brilliant ideas that were very realistic and could be implemented on a larger scale. Read ahead to find out about a few of the interesting projects.
Ecopod- a solution proposed by Team Iota, which won first place, talked about the use of plastic for packaging of personal toiletries and how much plastic waste it amounted to. The team presented a single use, plastic free shampoo, conditioner and body wash solution via disposable pellets. Ensuring a 37.5 percent reduction in bottled personal shampoos and toiletries and an 80% reduction in CO2 emissions, bottled toiletries might well be water under the bridge if Ecopods were to take off.
Second place winners-team INACTUS, developed a project about building sustainable toilets with plastic bottles stuffed with waste. Both these projects also focused on providing employment to women in rural areas, hence employing the women workforce towards a global cause.
This is a global problem, which can only be solved if all the countries come together, and address these issues. When companies, industries work towards minimum plastic usage as an achievable goal and people voice their opinions on this pressing issue. When people understand the importance of the oceans and reducing plastic consumption, only then will we be able to see a measurable outcome.

Article on Women Empowerment
What is women empowerment? Everyone has this question in mind, even I too have the same question in mind. We may think that it’s just a right for women. No, it’s a “RIGHT” for women. There are some sayings that women should not raise their voice against men, women should not laugh loudly, if a woman laughs too much and the flavor of tobacco is gone when it is opened. These are all unwanted things and we have to freed them from these barriers.
Actually the proverb if a woman laughs too much and the flavor of tobacco is gone when it is opened means when a women laughs after her puberty she is ready to marry, when the curled tobacco leaf is opened the tobacco is able to sell is the exact meaning. But in our society they have changed these and criticize women.
When I went to a shop to buy a dress with my family, I laughed in common that too I just did a mild smile for a comment which was given by my brother, my dad scolds me that not to laugh in a common place. I accept this that should not laugh in public but he says that all the men will watch so you should not laugh this is unacceptable.
If they provide education alone is not women empowerment they have to freed women without saying that you are a girl. Like Men the society should say “YOU ARE A GIRL” with proud feeling, that is women empowerment in my point of view.
“EFFECT OF DEPRESSION ON BODY AND MIND”
“EFFECT OF DEPRESSION ON BODY AND MIND”
Depression is found in people of all ages these days in India. Many reasons can be behind it but the effects of depression on the human body and mind are unquestionably drastic.Every other person nowadays is stress-induced and unfortunately, the issue is still not given much thought. Our own close friends and family members are going through the phases of depression and we still simply ignore the problem. We ignore the clear signs of mental stress and consider them some temporary signs and mood swings. But gradually the stress and anxiety take a person to the unchartered mental state from where the return is not possible.A person living with some depression will show signs like mood swings, consistent feeling of sadness, guilt and regret, indecisiveness, bipolar attitude, uncontrollable tears, loss of appetite, uninterested in physical activities and will to isolate, insomnia, sleep deprivation, hesitant to change clothes or take bath and continuous suicidal thoughts.Starting from stress and leading to depression there are many physical and mental changes in a person. Depressed people change their appetite unconsciously. Either they start eating too much or they avoid eating. It results in weight loss or weight gain. According to research, most depressed people start eating too much food and gain weight which ultimately develops high blood pressure or diabetes type 2. Some people lose their appetite and do not anything for the whole day. They may become too weak which may lead to stomach problems like cramps, constipation, stomachaches or malnutrition.Chronic pain is the severe stage of depression when a person starts feeling pain in joints and muscles or consistent headaches or breast tenderness. These unexplained pains must be taken very seriously and the person must consult a doctor immediately.A depressed person develops a negative mindset and it may lead to paranoia. The person constantly thinks that people around are trying to harm him. He will always remain in deep thoughts and stress. Ultimately it results in diabetes and diabetes results in heart disease. Therefore, depression can even lead to a heart attack. One out of the five most common reasons for heart failure or coronary disease is suffering from depression.People with depression are either sleep deprived or they sleep for too long. A sleep-deprived person tends to develop insomnia. They always feel exhausted and even they do not sleep at night, still, they do nothing but think of negative thoughts. They start taking sleeping pills which have their own side effects. Moreover, if someone is suffering from chronic illness and develops depression, then there is a chance that the disease can get severe.Other effects of chronic depression are the contraction of diseases like blood pressure, hypertension, diabetes, kidneys, and heart problems. Apart from mental deteriorations and internal diseases, depression also affects a person physically; the color of skin gets pale, eyes get dark circles, wrinkles start appearing, hair starts snubbing, skin becomes brittle and the weight loss leads to weakness and pale appearance.

“DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE HOSPITALS”
“DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE HOSPITALS”
Public hospitals mostly are not equipped with basic healthcare facilities and they are poorly managed and provide poor treatment to the patients. These hospitals are preferred mostly by the poor because they cannot afford private hospitals due to their expensive treatments. Private hospitals, on the other hand, facilitate their patients with full resources according to their needs. They are equipped with all the required machinery and they have specialist doctors to give proper treatment.Patients of public hospitals suffer in many ways like; the hospitals lack specialist doctors and the patients may end up getting treated by an inexperienced doctor. Moreover, they wait for too long in a waiting line for their turn. Sometimes many of them return home without their check-up. Then comes the problem of medicines, public hospitals are regarded for their provision of free medicines to poor patients. Unfortunately, this is not the case everywhere and due to corruption and mismanagement, they lack even basic medicine. Many times, doctors in public hospitals ask their patients to continue the treatment from their own private clinics. There they prescribe private tests and expensive medicines for their commissions from private laboratories and pharmaceutical companies.Whereas, private hospitals are famous for their highly expensive treatment. Only the rich can afford them. Highly qualified and specialist doctors are seated there. These highly qualified doctors are paid high wages. They have highly qualified specialists who studied in foreign countries. Patients of these hospitals find no need to wait in lines and they do not suffer from any extreme weather conditions. Hospitals have uninterrupted electricity and are equipped with air conditioners and heaters. Moreover, the hygienic environment of the hospital is exemplary.Another issue with government hospitals is their unhygienic environment. The pungent smell of medicine is everywhere and insects are found crawling on each wall. Load shedding is common. More than 1 patient is found lying on the same bed. The same syringe is used many times and all these issues lead to the spread of many more diseases.Although government hospitals provide treatments at very low rates, these hospitals are in drastically bad conditions. Whereas, private hospitals have an ideal and completely clean environment with all the facilities provided.Though private hospitals facilitate patients in all ways, their charges are too high that even the middle-class person cannot afford to have a simple check-up from here. This is a sad state of affairs of a country that is primarily a poor country. The common men are the ones who suffer. When they get to a public hospital to get treated the mismanagement and deplorable conditions make them even more ill and when they go to a private hospital, they get better but they cannot afford the treatment. Sadly, the common man is not seeing it in terms of the difference between public and private hospitals. He is dying of ill-treatment and the rich man is enjoying all the facilities.

MY GRAND MOTHER’S HOUSE – by Kamala Das
The poem My Grandmother’s House was written by Kamala Das was an Indian poet in English as well as author in Malayalam from Kerala. She was famous for her many Malayalam short stories as well as many poems written in English. This poem My Grand mother’s house first appeared in Kamala Das’s first anthology of verse with the title of “Summer Time in Calcutta”. It is also an autobiographical poem because the poet says her love on her grandmother. It takes back the poet to her childhood, where she lived securely and happily with her grandmother in her house.
“there is a house now far away where once I received love……”
In the above lines the poet combines the present and past that the house in a present form and the love she received in a past form. Her grandmother’s house was the place where she was loved immensely by her grandmother. She was broken that her grandmother’s house was damaged.
“That women died,
The house withdrew into silence…….”
In the above lines the poet feels that when her grandmother died, the beauty of the house was all ruined. The house became silence and snakes where roaming all around the house. She was emotionally imbalanced on the death of her grandmother.
“How often I think of going……..
………
Dog……”
In the above lines the poet says that she often visits her grandmother’s house to remember the happiest moment with her grandmother. The poet says her relationship with her grandmother with the example of dog that how a dog is loved by it’s owner and also the dog roam with his owner an always stays with it’s owner.
“Can you…..
………
Receive love at least in small change”
In the above lines she says that how she was loved by her grandmother in the house and how she was proud to live in such a house with love and affection. She says that now the poet is begging for the had in her life through her grandmother.
Impact of COVID-19 in India and the Global Economy.
As per the official government guidelines, India is making preparations against the COVID-19 outbreak, and avoiding specific crisis actions or not understating its importance will have extremely severe implications. All the neighboring countries of India have reported positive COVID-19 cases. To protect against the deadly virus, the Indian government have taken necessary and strict measures, including establishing health check posts between the national borders to test whether people entering the country have the virus (17). Different countries have introduced rescue efforts and surveillance measures for citizens wishing to return from China. The lesson learned from the SARS outbreak was first that the lack of clarity and information about SARS weakened China’s global standing and hampered its economic growth (10, 18–20). The outbreak of SARS in China was catastrophic and has led to changes in health care and medical systems (18, 20). Compared with China, the ability of India to counter a pandemic seems to be much lower. A recent study reported that affected family members had not visit the Wuhan market in China, suggesting that SARS-CoV-2 may spread without manifesting symptoms (21). Researchers believe that this phenomenon is normal for many viruses. India, with a population of more than 1.34 billion—the second largest population in the world—will have difficulty treating severe COVID-19 cases because the country has only 49,000 ventilators, which is a minimal amount. If the number of COVID-19 cases increases in the nation, it would be a catastrophe for India (22). It would be difficult to identify sources of infection and those who come in contact with them. This would necessitate multiple strategies to handle the outbreak, including computational modeling as well as statistical and quantitative analyses, to rapidly develop new vaccines and drug treatments. With such a vast population, India’s medical system is grossly inadequate. A study has shown that, owing to inadequate medical care systems, nearly 1 million people die every year in India (23). India is also engaged in trading with its nearby countries, such as Bangladesh, Bhutan, Pakistan, Myanmar, China, and Nepal. During the financial year 2017–18 (FY2017–18), Indian regional trade amounted to nearly $12 billion, accounting for only 1.56% of its total global trade value of $769 billion. The outbreak of such viruses and their transmission would significantly affect the Indian economy. The outbreak in China could profoundly affect the Indian economy, especially in the sectors of electronics, pharmaceuticals, and logistics operations, as trade ports with China are currently closed. This was further supported by the statement by Suyash Choudhary, Head—Fixed Income, IDFC AMC, stating that GDP might decrease owing to COVID-19 (24).
Economists assume that the impact of COVID-19 on the economy will be high and negative when compared with the SARS impact during 2003. For instance, it has been estimated that the number of tourists arriving in China was much higher than that of tourists who traveled during the season when SARS emerged in 2003. This shows that COVID-19 has an effect on the tourism industry. It has been estimated that, for SARS, there was a 57 and 45% decline in yearly rail passenger and road passenger traffic, respectively (25). Moreover, when compared with the world economy 15 years ago, world economies are currently much more inter-related. It has been estimated that COVID-19 will hurt emerging market currencies and also impact oil prices (26–28). From the retail industry’s perspective, consumer savings seem to be high. This might have an adverse effect on consumption rates, as all supply chains are likely to be affected, which in turn would have its impact on supply when compared with the demand of various necessary product items (29). This clearly proves that, based on the estimated losses due to the effect of SARS on tourism (retail sales lost around USD 12–18 billion and USD 30–100 billion was lost at a global macroeconomic level), we cannot estimate the impact of COVID-19 at this point. This will be possible only when the spread of COVID-19 is fully controlled. Until that time, any estimates will be rather ambiguous and imprecise (19). The OECD Interim economic assessment has provided briefing reports highlighting the role of China in the global supply chain and commodity markets. Japan, South Korea, and Australia are the countries that are most susceptible to adverse effects, as they have close ties with China. It has been estimated that there has been a 20% decline in car sales, which was 10% of the monthly decline in China during January 2020. This shows that even industrial production has been affected by COVID-19. So far, several factors have thus been identified as having a major economic impact: labor mobility, lack of working hours, interruptions in the global supply chain, less consumption, and tourism, and less demand in the commodity market at a global level (30), which in turn need to be adequately analyzed by industry type. Corporate leaders need to prioritize the supply chain and product line economy trends via demand from the consumer end. Amidst several debates on sustainable economy before the COVID-19 impact, it has now been estimated that India’s GDP by the International Monetary Fund has been cut down to 1.9% from 5.8% for the FY21. The financial crisis that has emerged owing to the worldwide lockdown reflects its adverse effect on several industries and the global supply chain, which has resulted in the GDP dropping to 4.2% for FY20, which was previously estimated at 4.8%. Nevertheless, it has been roughly estimated that India and China will be experiencing considerable positive growth among other major economies (31).
GDP CREATES NEW RECORDS!
India’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) contracted 7.3% in 2020-21, as per provisional National Income estimates released by the National Statistical Office on Monday, marginally better than the 8% contraction in the economy projected earlier. GDP growth in 2019-20, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, was 4%.
The fourth quarter of 2020-21 recorded a growth of 1.6% in GDP, the second quarter of positive growth, after the country had entered a technical recession in the first half of the year. The Gross Value Added recorded 3.7% growth in Q4, compared to 1% in Q3. GVA had contracted 22.4% and 7.3% in the first and second quarters of 2020-21.
The GVA in India’s economy shrank 6.2% in 2020-21, compared to a 4.1% rise in the previous year. Only two sectors bucked the trend of negative GVA growth – Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (which rose 3.6%) and Electricity, Gas, Water Supply and other Utility Services (up 1.9%).
The second wave of covid 19 ( 594 doctors died)
THE SECOND WAVE OF COVID-19
( 594 DOCTORS DIED)
Cdisease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus.
Most people who fall sick with COVID-19 will experience mild to moderate symptoms and recover without special treatment.
The first known infections from SARS-CoV-2 were discovered in Wuhan, China. The original source of viral transmission to humans remains unclear, as does whether the virus became pathogenic before or after the spillover event.
The great majority of people with coronavirus will have mild or moderate disease and will make a full recovery within 2-4 weeks. But even if you are young and healthy – meaning your risk of severe disease is low .
The Indian Medical Association (IMA) said that 594 doctors died during the second wave of COVID-19 across the country. It released an updated list on Wednesday and noted that Delhi (107), Bihar (96), Uttar Pradesh (67) and Rajasthan (43) have lost the maximum number of doctors so far.
While no such count is available for other medical staff currently, the Centre earlier this week announced a new system of processing the insurance claims under the (PMGKP) —Insurance Scheme for Health Workers Fighting COVID 19
The Health Ministry noted that claims will be certified by the District Collector and after approval will be settled in 48 hours.
The move follows several States raising the matter of processing delays in insurance claims. “This latest order is aimed at cutting down delays and to further streamline and simplify the processing of the insurance claims,” ministry only said.
At least 594 doctors have died in the second wave of coronavirus infections in the country so far, with Delhi accounting for 107 such deaths, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) said on Tuesday.
State wise data put out by IMA shows that nearly every second doctor who died in the second Covid-19 wave died either in Delhi, Bihar or Uttar Pradesh. These three states together account for nearly 45 per cent of the doctors who died in the second wave.
During Corona second wave in India have lost of any people and children’s have loss of their parents. Indian people have also met financial crisi. Doctor and nurses also died in India’s surge in infections began around mid-March and increased rapidly, reaching a peak of more than 400,000 recorded daily cases on Friday, 30 April. OverOver subsequent days the numbers fell, with just under 360,000 on Monday, 3 May – leading to speculation that a peak had been reached.
But in the past few days, they have started to rise again, in line with a weekly pattern of fluctuations that shows the numbers usually dipping on a Monday. And on Thursday, 6 May, the number of new recorded daily infections reached a new high of more than 414,000.
Accurate assessments of the extent of the virus are only possible with widespread testing.India has been conducting nearly two million tests a day. This dipped at the start of this month to 1.5 million. But by Wednesday, 5 May, daily testing was back at almost two million again.
This temporary fall in testing may go some way to explaining the extent of the dip in recorded daily infections in the first few days of May.Testing has also been highly variable across the country, with some regions showing significant declines.”This happened during the previous
peak, in September, too,” World Health Organization (WHO) consultant and economist Dr Rijo John says.”When India was about to touch 100,000 cases per day, the testing rates fell.”

Brief History of Pandemics (Pandemics Throughout History)
Very few phenomena throughout human history have shaped our societies and cultures the way outbreaks of infectious diseases have; yet, remarkably little attention has been given to these phenomena in behavioral social science and in branches of medicine that are, at least in part, founded in social studies (e.g., psychiatry).
This lack of attention is intriguing, as one of the greatest catastrophes ever, if not the greatest one in the entire history of humankind, was an outbreak of a pandemic . In a long succession throughout history, pandemic outbreaks have decimated societies, determined outcomes of wars, wiped out entire populations, but also, paradoxically, cleared the way for innovations and advances in sciences (including medicine and public health), economy, and political systems . Pandemic outbreaks, or plagues, as they are often referred to, have been closely examined through the lens of humanities in the realm of history, including the history of medicine . In the era of modern humanities, however, fairly little attention has been given ways to plagues affected the individual and group psychology of afflicted societies. This includes the unexamined ways pandemic outbreaks might have shaped the specialty of psychiatry; psychoanalysis was gaining recognition as an established treatment within medical community at the time the last great pandemic was making global rounds a century ago.
The Athenian Plague of 430 B.C.
The Athenian plague is a historically documented event that occurred in 430–26 B.C. during the Peloponnesian War, fought between city-states of Athens and Sparta. The historic account of the Athenian plague is provided by Thucydides, who survived the plague himself and described it in his History of the Peloponnesian War . The Athenian plague originated in Ethiopia, and from there, it spread throughout Egypt and Greece. Initial symptoms of the plague included headaches, conjunctivitis, a rash covering the body, and fever. The victims would then cough up blood, and suffer from extremely painful stomach cramping, followed by vomiting and attacks of “ineffectual retching” .Infected individuals would generally die by the seventh or eighth day. Those who survived this stage might suffer from partial paralysis, amnesia, or blindness for the rest of their lives. Doctors and other caregivers frequently caught the disease, and died with those whom they had been attempting to heal. The despair caused by the plague within the city led the people to be indifferent to the laws of men and gods, and many cast themselves into self-indulgence . Because of wartime overcrowding in the city of Athens, the plague spread quickly, killing tens of thousands, including Pericles, Athens’ beloved leader. With the fall of civic duty and religion, superstition reigned, especially in the recollection of old oracles . The plague of Athens affected a majority of the inhabitants of the overcrowded city-state and claimed lives of more than 25% of the population . The cause of the Athenian plague of 430 B.C. has not been clearly determined, but many diseases, including bubonic plague, have been ruled out as possibilities . While typhoid fever figures prominently as a probable culprit, a recent theory, postulated by Olson and some other epidemiologists and classicists, considers the cause of the Athenian plague to be Ebola virus hemorrhagic fever .
The Antonine Plague
While Hippocrates is thought to have been a contemporary of the plague of Athens, even possibly treating the afflicted as a young physician, he had not left known accounts of the outbreak . It was another outbreak that occurred a couple of centuries later that was documented and recorded by contemporary physicians of the time. The outbreak was known as the Antonine Plague of 165–180 AD and the physician documenting it was Galen; this outbreak is also known as the Plague of Galen . The Antonine plague occurred in the Roman Empire during the reign of Marcus Aurelius (161–180 A.D.) and its cause is thought to be smallpox . It was brought into the Empire by soldiers returning from Seleucia, and before it abated, it had affected Asia Minor, Egypt, Greece, and Italy. Unlike the plague of Athens, which affected a geographically limited region, the Antonine plague spread across the vast territory of the entire Roman Empire, because the Empire was an economically and politically integrated, cohesive society occupying wide swaths of the territory . The plague destroyed as much as one-third of the population in some areas, and decimated the Roman army, claiming the life of Marcus Aurelius himself . The impact of the plague on the Roman Empire was severe, weakening its military and economic supremacy. The Antonine plague affected ancient Roman traditions, leading to a renewal of spirituality and religiousness, creating the conditions for spreading of new religions, including Christianity. The Antonine Plague may well have created the conditions for the decline of the Roman Empire and, afterwards, for its fall in the West in the fifth century AD .
Quarantine
Drawing from experiences from ancient cultures that had dealt with contagious diseases, medieval societies observed the connection between the passage of time and the eruption of symptoms, noting that, after a period of observation, individuals who had not developed symptoms of the illness would likely not be affected and, more importantly, would not spread the disease upon entering the city. To that end, they started instituting mandatory isolation. The first known quarantine was enacted in Ragusa (City-state of Dubrovnik) in 1377, where all arrivals had to spend 30 days on a nearby island of Lokrum before entering the city. This period of 30 days (trentine) was later extended to 40 days (quarenta giorni or quarantine) . The institution of quarantine was one of the rarely effective measures that took place during the Black Death and its use quickly spread throughout Europe. Quarantine remains in effect in the present time as a highly regulated, nationally and internationally governed public health measure available to combat contagions .
Ebola Outbreak (2014–2016)
Ebola virus, endemic to Central and West Africa, with fruit bats serving as a likely reservoir, appeared in an outbreak in a remote village in Guinea in December 2013. Spreading mostly within families, it reached Sierra Leone and Liberia, where it managed to generate considerable outbreaks over the following months, with over 28,000 cases and over 11,000 fatalities. A very small number of cases were registered in Nigeria and Mali, but those outbreaks were quickly contained . Ebola outbreak, which happened to be the largest outbreak of Ebola infection to date, gained global notoriety after a passenger from Liberia fell ill and died in Texas in September of 2014, infecting two nurses caring for him, and leading to a significant public concern over a possible Ebola outbreak in the USA. This led to a significant public health and military effort to address the outbreak and help contain it on site (Operation United Assistance).
Covid -19
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is defined as illness caused by a novel coronavirus now called severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2; formerly called 2019-nCoV), which was first identified amid an outbreak of respiratory illness cases in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China. [1] It was initially reported to the WHO on December 31, 2019. On January 30, 2020, the WHO declared the COVID-19 outbreak a global health emergency. [2, 3] On March 11, 2020, the WHO declared COVID-19 a global pandemic, its first such designation since declaring H1N1 influenza a pandemic in 2009.
Covid 19 VS Tourism
Travel and tourism is among the most affected sectors with a massive fall of international demand amid global travel restrictions including many borders fully closed, to contain the virus.
Due to fear of the COVID-19 pandemic, people originally from mountain communities are coming back to their native villages. This is an increasing trend which brings both happiness and sorrow as many families haven’t been reunited in a long time, but the unfortunate and scary circumstances of COVID-19 make these reunions difficult. In the past decades, tourism has experienced continued growth and became one of the fastest growing economic sectors. Globally, the tourism industry contributed to $8.9 trillion to the global GDP in 2019 equaling a contribution of 10.3%. It is also to note that 1 in 10 jobs around the world is in tourism, equaling 330 million jobs.
India’s Covid-19 lockdown may cause 38 million job losses in the travel and tourism industry,People living in tourism places affect more then others. they earn lot of money only in the summer season because of the climate and flowers shows without tourist people they are affected even for basic needs and foods. Data on international tourism expenditure continues to reflect very weak demand for outbound travel. However, some large markets such as the United States, Germany and France have shown some shy signs of recovery in the recent months.
The growth of Global Medical Tourism in the last decade has influenced overall growth of health care sector. Due to the multidimensional impact of the Pandemic COVID-19 in the form of a global healthcare crisis, falling global economy, restricted international travel, the medical tourism industry is undergoing a substantial decline.

Will China’s ‘Three child policy’ be a Warning sign for India?
China released it’s 7th National Population Census on 11th May, 2021 which showed the data of decreased birth rate in the country. China’s ageing population is increasing and birth rate is declining, concerned Chinese government in order to boost the level of fertility announced 6 years after the ‘two child policy’ to allow the married couple to have three children(‘three child policy’- 2021).
The census record shows the data of 264 million in the age group of 60 and above- 5.44% increase since-2010, 894 million in the age group of 15-59 – 6.79% decrease since-2010. The working group of china [age 15-59] was 925 million in 2011 was down to 894 million in this census.
Main Reason for decline in the birth rate:
- China’s One child policy 1979 – one child per family to control the population explosion. It reduced the youth rate and led to more old people.
- The low impact of ‘Two child policy’ 2016 – financial problem was one of the main reason stated by people for not having many kids.
- Change in the mind set of the people- an online poll conducted on 31/5/21 stated that out of 31,000 respondents 28,000 would not consider having 3 children and 1,600 said they would, SCMP report.
Why India should consider China’s situation as a warning?
India is one of the youngest country in the world with 62%+ population in the working age group. It is facing population explosion for a long time, excessive birth control measures here could lead the country to china’s current situation where the country would become old before becoming rich. In India, the places Sikkim and Lakshadweep are already facing the challenge of ageing population, reduced workforce. Ageing population and low birth rate will lead a country to not have enough youth to take care of the old, aged people would suffer and the country will also face more problems.
India currently needs to sustain population stabilization. The fertility rate is below replacement level in some state, Sikkim, Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Kerala and Karnataka. Replacement level is level of fertility required to have the same population level from generation to generation.
” INCREDIBLE HEALTH BENEFITS OF AN APPLE “
” INCREDIBLE HEALTH BENEFITS OF AN APPLE ”
Apple contains vitamins, dietary fiber, a range of nutrients and antioxidants. The wide range of nutrients helps in maintaining wellbeing and also cope with many health conditions. Its frequent consumption helps in reducing the risk of cancer, diabetes, heart disease and, obesity. Below are some incredible health benefits of apple:
STROKE
A study shows that people who love eating apples have very little risk of thrombotic stroke. Apple lowers the risk of stroke because it contains nutrients. Moreover, it also contains fiber. According to a study, people consuming more fiber-rich food appeared to have very few cardiovascular diseases, heart disease, and stroke. A medium sized apple a day is quite enough to stay healthy.
HEART HEALTH
A normal human body needs 13-20 percent fibers, needs 4 percent potassium and 9-11 percent vitamin C daily. As apple contains fiber, antioxidants, potassium, and vitamin C, all the daily required elements are easily consumed with an apple a day.
Fiber manages blood pressure. It lowers the risk of increasing the blood pressure that is good in the prevention of cardiovascular disease. Vitamin C as an antioxidant protects and maintains heart health. Vitamin C also boosts the immune system and defends the body from diseases and infections. Potassium in apple relaxes the blood vessels and reduces the risk of high blood pressure and other cardiovascular complications.
DIABETES
People who consume apple daily have a very low risk of developing diabetes type 2. A big benefit of apple for a diabetic person is that if one starts consuming it daily, the blood sugar level reduces and, in this way, diabetes also gets controlled.
OBESITY
Apples contain bioactive compounds that help in promoting healthy gut bacteria that optimize the digestive system and prevent abdominal bloating. Especially, the fiber in the apple makes the person feel full stomach for a longer period which reduces the need to eat again and again or overeating.
CHOLESTEROL
Eating raw apple lowers the level of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol among healthy people. That is why they concluded that fiber in apples reduces cholesterol.
CANCER
Apples are the best source of antioxidants. The antioxidants help in lowering the risk of lung cancer, colorectal cancer, and breast cancer.
WEIGHT LOSS
Apples contain water and fiber. According to a study, people who eat a slice of apple before meat, feel full after eating a meal. But those who prefer apple juices instead of eating it in raw form, consume more food. Moreover, people who eat apple slices before a meal consume fewer calories than those who do not. Therefore, eating an apple before a meal has two benefits. First, one feels full for a longer period and therefore feels okay without eating much and second, the fibers in apple optimizes the digestive system so a person feels good and healthy.
Interestingly, research founds that apple juice does not have the same incredible health benefits as a raw apple. So, always go for eating an apple instead of drinking apple juice.

“CORONA VIRUS;USE FACE MASKS”
CORONA VIRUS;USE FACE MASKS:
Covid-19 has been taken the world by storm and the whole world has been closed due to its spread. The highly infectious disease has been declared global pandemic and so far, there is no cure in sight to deal with it.In absence of any guaranteed cure of the disease, the world has scrambled to contain the spread of the disease with preventive measures. A larger set of protective measures have been adopted by nearly all the regions of the world that primarily includes the use of face masks, social distancing and hand washing. Due to the extremely small size of the particles that contain the virus, it was feared that the virus can even remain air-borne and therefore transmit to a distance of many feet. That fear got real when many healthcare staff and security personals also got infected who generally deal with Covid-19 patients from a distance. That fear alarmed the whole world and due to air travel of the respiratory virus through coughing, sneezing, talking, spewing, and throat secretion into the air, different cities from the across the world started recommending using face masks. Some East Asian countries have now made it common practice and some European countries have also started mandating face masks in public spaces. Respiratory particles emitted after sneezing, coughing, and even talking, produce some longer range smaller particles which evaporate into the air and leave the virus hanging. The smaller droplets are called aerosols and these droplets are packed with millions of viral particles that are causing infections in people. It was then found out that face masks do very well in limiting how far away respiratory particles and aerosols can travel. The uncertainty around face masks arises from a question like whether a healthy person should wear them too? The answer to it is rather complicated because of the virus nature. The distinction between sick infected with covid-19 and healthy is more complicated because people who catch coronavirus do not feel symptoms for 5-6 days on average. But they are contagious during that time and it has been found recently that about 25 % of people who catch it never show any symptoms at all but remain contagious. Viruses and bacteria stay on different surfaces depending on their type. One common way of coronavirus spread is by touching the infected surface and then touching eyes, nose, mouth, etc., and it becomes too easy for germs or infection to enter into the body. This type of transmission is called fomite transmission. The best defense for it so far is frequent hand washing and avoiding touching surfaces and face unnecessarily. According to WHO, respiratory diseases spread from human to human in the form of droplets carried through sneezing or coughing. The best way to counter it is by wearing a face mask. Each person must wear a mask to not receive the respiratory particles from others and to not transmit respiratory particles to others. Use any type of mask when you go outside like a cloth mask, dust mask, and surgical mask.

Music Mantra: Music for Mental Health
“Music has healing powers. It has the ability to take people out of themselves for a few hours” – Elton John
It is interesting to believe that music has healing powers as it enhances mindfulness. What is incredibly special about music is the fact that music is available to everyone everywhere. No matter what the situation is, music is one thing which does not need to worry about time and place and most people will agree that we all need music in our lives as it has its ways of opening hearts and sometimes helping people express themselves.
The most beautiful thing about music is, we can use music when we are joyous and we can use music when our heartaches. We all have that one song that has such deep imprints in our minds, which simply helps us in lifting our mood during hard times.
American musician Billy Joel once said, “It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we are from, everyone loves music.”
It is how deeply one can connect with music that makes it so therapeutic.
What is Music therapy?
Music therapy for healing mental health issues uses music as a therapeutic modality. This therapy is known to open up gates for communication that transcends the limitations of verbal expression. It helps in balancing emotions and also in expressing some deep-seeded feelings.
Music therapy employs its natural properties like mood-lifting to help people improve not only their mental health but overall well-being.
Barbara Else, the senior advisor of policy and research at the American Music Therapy Association says, “We have such a deep connection to music because it is ‘hardwired’ in our brains and bodies. The elements of music – rhythm, melody, etc. – are echoed in our physiology, functioning, and being.”
It has been observed that music therapy session mainly includes making and listening to music which is then followed by a discussion. It’s based on psychological disciplines like psychodynamic, behavioural, and humanistic therapeutic approaches.

There are two different types of music therapy
Active music therapy
In Active music therapy, the therapist and the client(s) create music with various instruments, their voices, or other objects.
Receptive music therapy
In Receptive music therapy, the therapist plays an instrument and makes music and the client listens.
How exactly does music therapy help mental health?
A study led by Brunel University in the United Kingdom suggested that music may help in reducing pain and anxiety who have undergone surgery. A lot of patients suffer a lifestyle change that can cause stress, anxiety, and even depression and it has been observed that music can be used in such situations to relieve on from such stress.
The leader of the study, Dr. Catherine Meads said – “If music was a drug, it would be marketable. Music is a non-invasive, safe, cheap intervention that should be available to everyone undergoing surgery.”
Researches show that music triggers the release of opioids in the brain which is a natural pain reliever. People with mental health issues can use musical interactions as a means of communication and expression. This therapy aims to help individuals develop relationships and address issues they may not be able to address using words alone.
What are the outcomes/results one observes after music therapy?
- Reduced muscle tension
- Improved self-image/self-esteem
- Decreased anxiety/agitation
- Increased verbalization
- Enhanced interpersonal relationships
- Improved group cohesiveness
- Increased motivation
- Successful and safe emotional release
- Reduced social isolation
- Decrease in stress hormone(cortisol) in teenagers especially
- Improved aggression
Music is powerful. It promotes the idea of being calm and relaxed which has become extremely essential in today’s day and age where everyone busy rushing to achieve their goals at cost of their overall well-being. It is through music that one can sit, take a breather and try to relieve themselves from all the stress and anxiety.

Be Kind First, Be Right Later
The brilliant Japanese writer Haruki Murakami once wrote, “Always remember that to argue, and win, is to break down the reality of the person you are arguing against. It is painful to lose your reality, so be kind, even if you are right.”
When we are in the moment, we can easily forget that the goal is to connect with the other side, collaborate with them, befriend them, and integrate them into our tribe. We are so caught up in winning that we forget about connecting. It’s easy to spend your energy labeling people rather than working with them.
The word “kind” originated from the word “kin.” When you are kind to someone it means you are treating them like family. This, I think, is a good method for actually changing someone’s mind. Develop a friendship. Share a meal. Gift a book.
Be kind first, be right later
Life of the students is now safe
The long delayed decision has come now . The students of the country were anxiously waiting for this . Now they can stop studying and start enjoying their lives. But their
primary grudge is that they will not be able to attend the farewell. This batch is the luckiest batch of almost all the time.
Effects of Cancellation of Board Exams :
No parties will be opposing = The congress and the other non BJP parties now have no stand to oppose the Centre decision . What they wanted is fulfilled now .
Even the chief minister of some of the prominent states such as that of New Delhi have expressed their joys by way of Twitter . They all definitely support the Centre’s decision.
Difficulty for the Universities = Now the universities will have to find out a
new way of giving entrances to the students . It can be through ways of conducting entrance exams or by interviewing students .
There age old practice of giving admission to students by way of their scores in the 12th and 10th standards will come
to an abrupt end .
Assessments of the scores of the students = Now the teachers have to find out a new way of giving marks to the
students . They can do by giving marks to the students on
the basis of their past scores in pre boards or on the basis of
some other activities like extra curriculars .
This methord is not free from errors .Yet the safety of the students is a primary aim of the government at this point .
We support the government decision of cancellation of the
board exams as it considers the safety of the students its
utmost priority.
Poverty and the Pandemic
The Covid-19 pandemic, which led to a wave of infections in March 2020, brought the whole country to a standstill. Nation-wide lockdown was imposed, and movement of public was restricted. Many of us were fortunate enough to be in the comfort of our own homes, away from harm and any form of risk. But for many unfortunate people of our country, this pandemic just made things a lot harder than they already were.
According to recent studies, the poverty rate of the country, during the first wave in 2020, almost doubled. Crores of people lost their jobs and livelihoods. The pandemic disrupted almost all the industries in the last year, leading to huge job losses across both, the formal and informal sector of the economy. For a nation that managed to reduce the poverty rate from 2011 to 2019, 2020 came as huge blow, and disrupted the progress that the country had achieved.
The number of individuals, that had incomes below the minimum wave threshold income (less than 375Rs), increased by 230 million during the pandemic. Incomes decreased all throughout the country, but the economically weaker section took a larger blow, with the poorest 20% losing their entire income.
During the lockdown, 61% of men remained employed, and 7% lost employment. This ratio was lower for women, where, only 19% remained employed and 47% suffered a permanent job loss during lockdown. Most of the women, who were unemployed, did not return to their work field even after restrictions were lifted.
The reports show that younger workers were much more impacted, they experienced higher losses and of a more permanent nature. Households have coped by reducing food intake, borrowing and selling assets and properties. People had to dig into their meager savings for survival. People have stopped the basics like lentil as food inflation has spiked.
Cut to 2021. Rural Indians which compose the informal workforce have lived with irregular jobs for over one year now. What exactly does one mean by ‘informal work force’? The informal sector consists of low-skilled laborers who are desperate enough to work for miserly wages in order to meet their daily requirements. Due to this constant need of jobs, the employers can control the pay and the work hours which, in some cases, are inhumane and brutal. These informal workers have no safety net to fall back on and hence are in a very dangerous situation.
As per June 1, 2021, India’s economy contracted 7.3 percent, its worst recession since independence. The government has faced growing criticism for focusing on loans to hard-hit businesses rather than direct cash handouts to vulnerable households. The focus, currently, should be to make sure that every citizen of this country is above the poverty line.
Social safety net transfers should be more prevalent, so that during an emergency, the family or individual has funds to fall back on. For employment of women, microfinance loans should be given, but it should be paired with extensive training and knowledge as to how it can help them learn new skills, and in turn help them start earning.
If we don’t make any changes, the second wave of pandemic will paralyze the economically weaker sections, who have just recovered from the first wave of the virus. These are all citizens of this country, and yet, they are being treated differently. Every job is important, and deserves respect and acknowledgement. How can we progress as a nation, if 28% of our population is below the poverty line?

The importance of music
Ever since I can remember, I have always wanted to play guitar. I have always been interested in music , ever since I heard the beautiful music by Chuck Berry, John Petrucci and many more… Their playing style has just inspired me. I thought that, if I learned to play guitar, than I would be just like them and would be able to play those incredible songs.
When I saw people playing the instrument it looked so easy as if the music was coming from within and the fingers were automatically moving with such velocity but all the notes were crystal clear and distinguishable nonetheless.
I thought to myself how hard could that be because I never noticed even a hint of frustration on their faces it just looked so effortless.. all I saw was plain happiness almost as if it was relaxing for them..
When I myself started learning how to play guitar is when I realised how tough it actually was and how much effort and training it needed..at first i just learnt how to play songs that I liked but when I started learning how to read music it went completely over my head in the beginning.
As the level increases the more practice I require and quite honestly I’m not able to give it the amount of time it actually needs for me to become A professional guitarist by a long shot.
But The one thing Ive realised is that with time anything you start gets easier , and day by day you get a little better at what you’re doing no matter what it is.. so it’s never a waste of time and there is absolutely nothing to lose in trying new things even if they’re out of your comfort zone or your time table.
They widen the horizon of your mind , give you some additional knowledge which is out of your academic course and out of the necessary things everyone your age is doing .
It just makes you a little different and adds to your personality.
Learning how to play guitar has added to the number of languages i can read and understand now.. so when I listen to music it’s almost as if I can Distinguish each note and actually understand it .I can just imagine how it would have been played, how tough it would have been and relate to what I hear.so now when I see professional guitarists no matter how relaxed they look or how effortlessly they’re playing I can clearly see the amount of hard work they must have put into it to come to that level.
By learning to play guitar, I acquired so many new talents. From learning to keep on trying until my accomplishments are met, to taking my own initiative to learn and understand new subjects, and to keep on playing no matter what.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
WOMAN EMPOWERMENT:
HELLO! Reader this is the first essay about “WOMAN EMPOWERMENT”.

Women Empowerment is made up of two words women and empowerment. Empowerment means giving power or authority to someone. So, Women’s Empowerment means power in the hands of women. It signifies that women should be given equal opportunity in every field, irrespective of any discrimination.
The notion of women’s empowerment entails three key elements: power, autonomy, and subjectivity.
First, three alternative sources of power increase women’s ability to make strategic choices in their lives: “power with,” “power to,” and “power within.” In my opinion as a girl in the progress of becoming a woman always lie upon two platforms. Firstly, There were many educated and qualified woman who was not addressed or identified by any sectors just for the cause that they are women and enormously assumed as mentally and physically. such barriers should be vanished by leading those flair ladies should vanguard the Nation.
My other concern of woman empowerment or simply elucidated as “GIRL POWER” which was mistaken by many feminists in order to consider themself to be presiding or governing faculty and not letting the opposite gender raise their voice, which is offensive and egocentric literally. Even this statement can’t be accepted by many woman rightist.

Feeling entitled to make your own decisions creates a sense of empowerment. It includes the action of raising the status of women through education, awareness, literacy, and courage to defend ourselves.
” WOMAN’S EMPOWERMENT AND ACHIEVING GENDER EQUALITY IS ESSENTIAL FOR OUR SOCIETY TO ENSURE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT.”
I quoted the above sentence in order to highlight my opinion on WOMAN EMPOWERMENT. A strong woman should graciously accept both appreciation and criticism, knowing that a plant needs both sunlight and rainfall to grow. She should focus on both genders and especially the woman who was kept as a puppet by some of the evil-minded beings.
If there is sustainable development then there will be a good ascending of women’s rule which strives for rights and justice. At last but not least I also appreciate some really hard-working women. For example; In recent years, Blogging has become a powerful tool for the educational empowerment of women.
According to a study done by the University of California, LA, medical patients who read and write about their disease are often much happier mood than those who do not. From my point of view, every woman attains prosperity in her life. “we would not appreciate the sun if we did not know the rain.”
In conclusion, women represent half the world’s population, and gender inequality exists in every nation on the planet. Until women are given the same opportunities that men are, entire societies will be destined to perform below their true potentials. The greatest need of the hour is a change of social attitude to women.
an escape from reality
a very much needed thing in everyones life . yes this has been a really hard year for all of us .people are so worn out and uninterested nowadays ,so why not escape from the boring world and dive into the world of fantasies. does that seem unrealistic ?? well maybe it is .but why not give it a try it may help someone someday in something .
so what exactly we have to do ?
nothing much . try to figure out what exictes you for example some may be interested in reading books or dancing ,cooking or whatsoever. and there also will be people who have nothing and they think nothing exictes them .so for that category of people you are never late to try something new and explore the world of possiblities.
its is always better to start journalising .well i know this can mean different things to different people , but there are many benifits of writing down every events .it gives you time to reflect on what is happening in your life both the good positive things and the bad negative things .it can also be called a form of talk therapy..without the talking .hehe or is it just me? anyways you can give it a try, talk and reflect while you write, have a discussion with yourself about your life , but make sure no one else is listening that may put you in trouble.
if you are interested make something with your hands .nowadays there is a lot of DIY on the internet well that may exicte you or try to cook there is nothing much in that just helping the kitchen person will also serve the purpose . they also may get happy with that .
learn a new skill may it be music lessons or swimming . this is a realling idea to destress,it is a little intimidating if you are new to it just give it a shot you may love it .or start excercising well that sounds boring but you can try different forms of it to keep yourself fit like by taking boxing lessons ,swimming , dancing ,running ,cycling all these belong to the same family and anyhow serves the purpose .
and lastly if the situation is favorable take a vacation and go offline for a week . when you say vacation mean it ,dont just stay home from work and then do your work anyway. if you are a workholic person, plan it in advance and make it happen. even if you are obsessed with getting things done, chances are you will be more productive when you come back .
so relax a little ,coz why not!!

Difficult words: sweat (when somebody is hot, ill or when he does sports, and his skin gets wet), crowded (a place with many people), undergo (to have something happen to you and usually it is not nice).

Impacts of COVID-19
The term COVID-19 has become a part of every household in the whole world. It is a global pandemic which made us suffer physically, mentally and emotionally. It made us realize that, ” Nothing is important than the well being of our family and friends”. Only thing which no one can control is the death of an individual. Death is the sour truth of our life which we have to face it. No one can control the birth and death of any person. COVID -19 made a huge impact on realizing us the value of our lives.
In this article , I want to discuss all the ways through which we have suffer because of this deadly virus.
1) Financial Problems :- It has ruined several daily wage workers livelihood. In India, Mostly people work on daily wages. Their families are dependent on the daily earning of single bread earner in their family. Due to lockdown , Poor people who earn daily weren’t allowed to go to work which is the only means of their earning. They were not able to feed their families proper food . Food is one of the basic necessity that any individual would want. Government gave every family free rice and wheat but that is not sufficient to be able to eat properly while suffering from this virus. Many farmers protests were going on during this period . Even there were stories of many farmers who committed suicide due to this lockdown. There were not able to get the minimum amount of their crops.
2) Mental Health :- In India, Those who go to psychiatrist considered to be mentally unstable. Mental health should be our priority . Physical problems can be seen by doctors and cured by getting proper treatment. Mental health should also be a part of our daily lifestyle. Due to COVID-19 , We all have become mentally tired and unable to share our insecurities, fears and anxieties. It is the most important phase in life where we have to deal with all our problems by keeping our physical as well as mental health fit and healthy. Try to talk to your loved ones, share love and happiness with them and Normalize it being mentally healthy.
3) Food supply and Ration :– Due to lockdown in India, People are hardly getting proper supply of food and ration. Many shopkeepers have doubled the prices of normal food items. To access food and ration have become the most difficult task for Middle class people. There is a lot more suffering for Poor people who are unable to get the food items in reasonable rate. Due to unemployment and less of knowledge about their rights, they are being treated very badly in pandemic. There is no proper arrangement has been done by the government for them. Free wheat and rice can’t be eaten alone. To eat proper cooked meal, they need to have cylinders, spices, oil, etc.
4) Education Sector :- Today’s generation is the upcoming future of our country. Education system has taken a downfall and charging more fees from the parents without providing the basic education to students. Due to unemployment, Parents are unable to fill the fees of school which has become a burden for them. They are not able to secure their children’s future. Online classes has not even taken serious by the schools and colleges. Some teachers are not taking their job seriously by taking the advantage of ongoing situation. The most cheapest thing is to ask fee even by not providing the education. It will be really hard for upcoming generation to come up strong and stay ahead in tough competition happening in the world.
5) Daily wage workers :- People who daily very hard to earn money to survive their livelihood are the ones who are suffering a lot. When suddenly lockdown happened, they were not able to return their home and got stuck in the middle of roads. Some workers travelled without any vehicles and covered a huge distance just by walking because they had no other choice. It is very hard to be a poor as Nobody really cares about you.
COVID-19 destroyed multiple families . It will take lot of years to come up strong overcoming this difficult situation. It has a huge impact on every individual living in this world as it is a global pandemic. The only thing we should focus on is staying united and helping others.
Physical Fitness …Is it important in this pandemic ?
Physical Fitness is something which is very important in every human’s life.it is status of wellbeing and can be brought up by having an healthy diet with planning and proper exercise also be need.
At recent time’s we have come across this horror and incurable virus called “covid-19″ or corona virus, which has shaken the globe and many people died due to its fast spread and has low metabolism with less immunity in their system. In order to achieve a good metabolism and immunity a person should have a very good health condition meaning he/she should have a very good physical fitness to fight back with the virus so yeah IT IS IMPORTANT TO have physical fitness
Many people in this corona lockdown are doing exercises maintaining health, taking care of diet, doing yoga, practicing dance and many more to maintain proper weight so the fatness or laziness not to effect their their life.so my humble advice to all to do the same as the saying goes ”STAY FIT STAY FINE”
