Mother Teresa

Humanity, something that should always be treasured more than anything else in the world prevails when someone actually carries it in their work.

So did the wonder women of needy people, our Mother Teresa, she was the epitome of kindness, this is the story of the woman who was an extraordinary mother of the whole nation who proved that no matter how many obstacles are going to be there on the path she would never deviate and will always abide by the utmost dedication and indomitable courage.

She might be the only one when she started this wave but she comes out to be a much bigger inspiration for many others out there who all are in the path of dedication and peace.

Undying Spirit

The call of God is something that every one of us gets at least once in our whole day still are we able to grasp it clearly without the disturbance of the world’s attachment?

No, most of us don’t even have time to spare for the things which could deliver peace to our soul, to our society, and everyone else around us because we are living in a speedy world after all.

If we talk about the 19’s then the things were different and difficult for everyone out there but women, it would be an understatement that it was tough for them, they were going through much evil practice of the society at that time, and even if times like that couldn’t stop the will of a girl named Agnes Gonxha.

A girl so young and pure devoted her whole life to spread the message of humanity and love too far lands without the attachment yet feeling the pain of every poor and needy out there.

The capacity and ability of one’s soul to dedicate the whole life without even thinking for yourself even for once is a virtue not many of us can ever achieve.

Yet there she left her home and parents to give us the message, No not to leave home but to not stop till you achieve what you think is right and peace bearer for the upliftment of the society.

Born as a Mother

In the young age of Agnes when her father died, she was just 8 years of age and that was the time Agnes’s mother stilled the deep compassion and love for the whole of humanity. She taught her daughter that one need not be wealthy to help others one needs to be considerate and compassionate to help.

When Agnes was young her mother even set an example to teach her daughter how to be a human above every caste, creed, color.

Even when not stable enough her mother invited every destitute to din with them and taught Agnes that you don’t unless they do and that was the point and learning she took which changes Agnes to Mother Teresa, a symbol of peace for humanity, an epitome of boundless love and care for the poor.

Welfare work

Of late we hear many folks saying that they’re doing welfare or social work. What exactly does this mean? What reasonably welfare work is needed and desirable? Is it not the duty of the government to require care of the wants of those citizens? If so, is there needing for a few individuals and organizations to enter this field? In every democracy, and particularly in an exceedingly socialistic democracy, there’s a good responsibility on the government to supply social facilities and make sure of the final welfare of its citizens. In our country, our government is additionally taking care of a variety of welfare activities. It provides education and treatment. The welfare of the downtrodden and also the handicapped is additionally taken care of. These activities can’t be termed welfare work because the government is doing these as a component of its welfare program. Therefore welfare work shall mean something else, which is undertaken either by a person or by a company. Service may be that which is rendered for a few payments. But welfare work is that which is completed voluntarily, without expecting any reward or payment or recognition. Any help rendered on these lines by a person or organization to the needy might be termed welfare work. for instance, Teresa had started her mission of service to require the care of orphan children. The Andhra Mahila sabha is rendering invaluable services to women. These can be termed as samples of social work. We have negative side effects also. Some interested and self-seeking gentleman and ladies, who are rich and who could afford to spend, start institutions of varied kinds within the name of work. That’s a move to induce social recognition and respect from the general public. In many such cases, they’re individual-based, they begin work for a purpose, and after their purpose is served they either close it up or start exploitation. There are reputed organizations, who do valuable service to society within the name of work. Service to mankind is equal to service god. Hence selfless service to humanity at large could also be termed as actual welfare work. A program called N.S.S. (National Social Service) is there in colleges and universities involving all young boys and girls. These people attend the village to assist the agricultural folk within the fields of education, construction of roads and tanks, and to show them hygienic methods. There are still many areas where individuals can do lots of welfare work by simply appealing to the minds of individuals. they’re (1) Prohibition (2) anti-dowry system (3) eradication of illiteracy, (4) Village sanitation, (5) rural upliftment (6) medical aid, etc. in villages. We find many foreigners undertaking social work programs within the fields of treatment, education, and welfare of the handicapped. We now need to decide on how long we’ve to rely on foreigners for solving our problems. It’s time that we learn to serve our brethren without reckoning on foreign funds or foreign personnel. We should always inspire our youth to dedicate themselves to the service of the state. Deliberately spread more love and humanity rather than negative talks. Be the person for someone who is smiling today because the world needed it the most and help the people with the things you can afford.
We, humans, are divided in race, religions, castes so and so, and yet we all take hands to unite together to the welfare of society in this great battle of covid-19 by showing humanity from the soft corner of billions of people’s heart.

ORGAN DONATION

ORGAN DONATION

INTRODUCTION :

Organ gift is characterized as the expulsion of organs from a body and relocating it’s anything but another body, by careful methods. Organ gift occurs from various perspectives. Except if it is consensual, it’s anything but legitimate.

The requirement for new organs usually arises when a person loses an organ to some accident or stops functioning. For example, patients with acute liver cirrhosis may require a liver transplant. A liver transplant is usually done by removing a small part of the liver from a healthy person’s body and transplanting it.

Likewise, organs like the retina of the eye, and kidneys can be donated. These organs remain functional for a few hours after removing them from the patient’s body. In the case of a heart transplant, it must be done immediately after removing it from the dead person’s body. However, a heart transplant can be done only when the donor is declared brain dead by doctors.

Organ transplant dramatically depends on the availability of human organs. Organ transplantation is the only way of saving the lives of patients who have had terminal organ failure. Patients with two dysfunctional kidneys cannot live, so kidney transplant is necessary to keep them.

Due to the vast disparity between the availability of and demand for organs, few patients are lucky enough to get organ transplantation, at the right time. Organ donation follows a very detailed procedure.

Firstly, a person can sign up and register for donating his organs. In this case, a person voluntarily consents to donate his organs after his death. After he passes away, the doctors remove the eyes and other organs that can be preserved from his body and stores them. These donated organs are used to help patients in need of organ transplantation

IMPORTANCE OF DONATION :

Professionals must do organ transplants because it is a surgical procedure. An organ transplant is also a touchy topic and must be done intricately. There are different kinds of organ donations. Autograft refers the transplantation of tissues from one site to another site. The skin of legs is often removed to end a damaged area of another part of the body.

Isograft refers to the transplantation of organs between genetically identical individuals. This is a safer process because it runs no risk of the immune response, which leads to rejection.

While transplanting as an organ, it is essential to know whether the organ matches the patient’s blood group and body. On several occasions, it has been seen that organ transplant has failed because the patient’s body has been unable to accept the organ from the donor.

CONCLUSION :

Organ transplantation is a delicate issue but can save the lives of many people. It is an extremely excellent way of serving society. Our deeds live on after we die, and this is a way to ensure that people will remember us for our contributions.

HUMANITY

Ted Honderich holds that there are six crucial wants, shared by every individual, wants that they really have, and which structure an authentic reason for human profound quality, or the capacity to recognize what is directly based on what’s up. The six wants are for a sensibly long life, for sensible physical solace, for opportunity and force, for good associations with others, for regard and confidence, and for the beneficial things getting from culture. I would prefer not to fight about the rundown, then again, actually I would remember security for the responsibility for (which may maybe be as of now included under the heading of Freedom and Power). The possibility of such a rundown of regular wants appears to me critical in the quest for the inceptions of ethical quality and gives trust in a proof that profound quality and its temperament can’t be comparative with an individual, due to its premise in a common mankind. Nonetheless, I would want to accumulate my rundown, which would not contrast much from Honderich’s rundown, regarding shared needs as opposed to shared wants. Furthermore, I accept that such a rundown could be similarly verifiable and objective.

Animal Cruelty: Are Humans Losing Their Humanity?

Imagine you were the one being tested on, imagine your skin being torn off alive, imagine your arms and legs being ripped off while still alive, imagine being burnt alive, fellow classmates even imagine losing your life, just so you can satisfy other species. Doesn’t sound fun, does it?

Now imagine this, you are a poor soul who has been searching for food everywhere. Suddenly, your happiness sees no bound as you see pineapple lying in front of you. You thank god and people for feeding such a delicacy amidst long hunger. You gulp that in one bite and feel inside of your body hurting and burning. You soon realize it was not just a pineapple. You run for water to soothe down the internal wound and burning. You stand in water for hours in oblivion just to face one reality – that now only death can relieve this burning. If reading this makes your stomach churn, you might understand the pain that poor soul went through which for some people was a mere ‘elephant’. What makes it even more disheartening that the elephant was pregnant  and yet had to spend her last few hours standing in the water waiting for death so that to leave this cruel world in solace.

In yet another instance of cruelty towards animals, a monkey was hanged to death from a tree in Telangana’s Khammam district.

Animals – creatures that are considered fit for human cruelty. Hitting dogs, throwing bricks at speechless animals and taming them forcefully for circuses has become common news now. It is time we re-emphasized the need for animal rights to protect and safeguard their lives from humans.

It’s blood curling that there exist some people who intentionally hurt animals because they enjoy hurting things, or because it makes them feel powerful. Some, love the control they possess over these helpless creatures. While, there are others who simply enjoy pain and violence.

It should be noted that intentional cruelty to animals is strongly correlated with other crimes, including violence against people. (HSLF). Any psychologist or police officer can ascertain you that animal cruelty is a precursor to criminally violent behavior toward humans. There are plenty of laws against cruelty to animals as well. Thus, Outright cruelty, harm to a living creature for no other purpose than the cruelty itself, is definitely prohibited and while not punishable to the extent that human cruelty is punishable, it is considered a serious indicator of a disordered mind and a dangerous person.

There are very strict guidelines laid down by the Indian government. Like, the animal should have rested before being slaughtered, an animal should not be killed in front of the other animals, no pregnant animal can be killed and all the animals should be diagnosed by the veterinarian before butchering them. The veterinarian must allow only the healthy animals to be slaughtered but all of it is on paper. All the strict laws have no strict implementation due to lack of will. There will surely be reduction in the rate of animal cruelty if these laws are implemented strictly!

We need to begin with our own selves without expecting any kind of new policies or laws to protect animals. Regularly keeping a bowl of fresh water outside your house and feeding the street animals. Such small activities would provide street animals with basic survival needs in the harsh city life.

Are we going to realize this any soon that we are a part of an ecosystem where human, plants, animals, insects, and microorganisms, all have to live together without harming each other? It’s generally only the humans that are less tolerant towards animals, plants, insets, etc. whereas, the rest simply seek for a peaceful existence.
