Streaming services have been able to get the maximum profits during the pandemic. They have been a lifesaver for several people. As a result, several OTT platforms stream some of the best series for us. But there have been some issues for the users. One of those problems has been the subscription service that platforms have. It is sometimes difficult for the users to shell out money every month for the subscription.
So, there has been a revelation by XDA Developers that there are chances that Google will introduce ad-based movie streaming on Google Play Movies. It has been done to make the platform more popular. It has been revealed after an analysis of the APK of the app. It is similar to the feature that YouTube provides.
In the entertainment market, online streaming platforms have been the king for the last couple of years. Several movies and shows are being released especially for the OTT platform. As a result, several big production houses like Bollywood, Hollywood and various others all around the world are creating content for the OTT platform.
As a result, platforms like Amazon Prime, Netflix and many others are already gaining users and popularity. But Google Play Movies has been on the back foot in this case. The content that is available on this platform is paid. Due to that, the users are finding it difficult to use the platform as they will have to pay individually for each content.
So, now Google might launch this service for its users. But there is no clarity that which content will be free and which will not. Once, the confusion is clear then it will be better for the users.
On the other hand, mobile networks are also making users in India stream more content over the internet. The decrease in internet costs in the country is also making it possible for users to consume more data. All of these changes were made possible by the introduction of the JIO 4G network in the country.
Now, there is another point for streamers to take advantage of. The feature is that of the higher penetration of smart devices in various households. The pandemic pushed several people to buy devices or upgrade their existing one. This was done to complete the various tasks that people need a device for. Also, the new devices helped various people beat their boredom by watching content online.
The higher usage and the slow but steady expansion of devices that support streaming platforms are also making it easier for people to stay UpToDate with their favourite shows. It is due to the support that various devices like tablets, smartphones and many more have. The continuous software support which is currently being provided by the major smart device companies is also helping in making various devices eligible for use by the users. The constant support is also making the various streaming platforms push out an update for their apps so that they can work on various devices.
So all of these points are going to help google play movies get more viewers after they release the ad-free support for the users. But for the time being this news must be taken with a pinch of salt.
Netflix is now providing one more option for American users. Now, some users have the option of taking up the lowest subscription available with ads. This subscription is available for a price of $6.99 a month and comes with ads in between the shows.
This subscription also makes some of the content unavailable to the viewers. To check the blocked content, you will have to get the no ads subscription. If the content has a red lock in the top right corner, then assume that such content is blocked.
This offer was on the cards for quite some time. So, after some trial, now the offer is available for some. This offer now makes the most popular streaming site, more attractive to viewers. It also enables the viewers to experience their favourite content, but with some ads. There is also a restriction in terms of the resolution, which is restricted to 720p.
On the official part, Netflix clarifies that there will ads of 15 to 20 seconds in duration. You cannot skip them, but you can pause them. The ads are the general ads that you see on the internet or YouTube. So, now we can choose one of the cheaper options from Netflix and keep using it. It will reduce piracy to some extent. It will also reduce the sharing of accounts which has been the case with many, for the last few years.
Recently, there have been speculations of various changes in the Netflix plan. So there have been some for the last few months. It is one of them. The other changes include the introduction of restrictions that will stop people from sharing passwords of their accounts with their friends and family.
But there is also content on the platform which will not show you any ads. It is difficult to predict as no list or indication will indicate which content has ads and which does not.
Now, if we consider different platforms, then there are a few changes that point to this new subscription option. In the case of iOS, there is an indication that people can select an ad-supported option, but there are no links, that can point you in the right direction. On the other hand, there are links on the website that will direct you to the page, that will let you choose the ad option.
So, now these changes will be bad news for some. As people expect to see ads in a free version of any service. But, here the viewers will have to watch ads even after paying a certain amount for a subscription. Only time will tell whether viewers like this plan or not. But for beginners there is one plus point, there is an even cheaper version of Netflix for the viewers. For the unknown, there will also be less requirement for some to share their login details as more viewers will be able to afford Netflix. Netflix will also be hoping that more subscribers use its streaming service.
‘Masaba Masaba,’ one of the most loved Indian programmes on Netflix, is here! It will be exactly one month from today on July 29 before the second season of “Masaba Masaba” arrives on the OTT platform. In August 2020, the first season of “Masaba Masaba” was released.
Masaba herself posted the first preview for the programme on Instagram.
Neena Gupta and Masaba, a mother-daughter team, appear young and hopeful in the teaser as they tackle new professional routes, new and old love interests, loss, emotions, and rivalry. Season 2 follows the lives of these two women as they go over challenging terrain and difficult sections.
Season 2 will also have Neil Bhoopalam, Rytasha Rathore, Kusha Kapila, Kareema Berry, Barkha Singh, Ram Kapoor, and Armaan Khera in addition to being directed by sonam Nair and produced by Vinyard Films. Influencer Kusha Kapila is performing for the second time; her first was in Karan Johar’s Ghost Stories.
Director Sonam Nair expressed her excitement about the teaser’s release by saying, “When Masaba Masaba was first shown to me by Ashvini Yardi, it was an idea that I instantly fell in love with, and I knew it would bring a lot of positive emotions with it. I have the opportunity to explore and collaborate with excellent services like Netflix season 2 is moving into other territories but with the same level of love and I can’t wait for people to watch it “.
The disturbing thoughts swim in the conscience as one could clearly hear the sound of social implosion in Ram Madhvani’s compelling thriller, lined with commentary on media ethics
In the week of big public apology, comes a film where a common man seeks repentance from a powerful minister for not being able to do his duty. A gutsy idea that fills you with nervous energy, the film is an official remake of a Korean flick but, closer home, it reminds you of the angry common man of ‘A Wednesday’.
In the Neeraj Pandey film, the desperate everyman threatened to bomb Mumbai, here the despairing migrant crosses the line. The film makes you wonder what has changed in the last decade. Perhaps, the trust of the marginalised has been breached. Perhaps, it was reflected during the mass exodus from big cities to villages during the pandemic. It is not that the last man standing in the row was getting attention earlier but he was not being fed hope by a section of rapacious media. His trust was not being played with 24×7.
What seems like a ‘usual’ terror attack/ hostage situation to him that he intends to milk, quickly turns personal as his estranged wife (Mrunal Thakur) is reporting from ground zero. Even as the threat lurks into the newsroom, the remnant of journalism left in his system is smoked out by a hard-nosed producer Ankita Malaskar (Amruta Subhash). For her, truth and news are two different things.
In the ensuing moral battle, it becomes increasingly clear who is the bigger villain of the piece. But, at the same time, the narrative also becomes increasingly predictable. As the taut thriller starts getting flaccid, you start picking up faults in the plot. When a film takes a high moral ground, the margin to slip also reduces. When a film that seeks to expose the artifice of prime-time news starts looking staged, it pains.
The set design and cinematography are top-notch but the functioning of the newsroom, the motivations of the ‘villain’, and the actions of the officer of the anti-terror unit (Vikas Kumar) leave you unsated. After taking you to the edge of the seat, the climax is a tad disappointing. A few more drafts, a little more sharpness would have helped. No such issue with Amruta who excels in a minutely observed character that exemplifies the state of a section of electronic news media.
Karthik has been astutely cast in the role of the hollow television anchor fattened by opportunism, teleprompter, and TRPs. Like in ‘Love Aaj Kal’, he plays the ‘straying’ part well but when it comes to the transformation, he fumbles. Thankfully, that portion is short here.
Squid Game is a highly bingeable nine-episode show that can be described as a variation of the Hunger Games series (albeit better, less generic, and even more brutal). It is a dystopian flick that nobody wanted until everybody did—with this ruthless South Korean hit trending as #1 on Netflix. I can’t say that it is one of my all-time favorite shows, nor would I necessarily consider it to be “high art” per se. But I do recommend it. To me, it seems that there are two main types of popular television: the cheesy shows that consist mostly of instant gratification, and the anomalies that not only generate insane traffic but are also well-done. Moreover, the show features some scintillating social commentary on the rich vs. the poor. This—combined with equally striking action—renders a scrumptious blockbuster.
The pilot episode takes a while to draw viewers in, with some backstory that dragged at times. But once you’re in, you will remain on the edge of your seat. The central plot is as follows: 456 people (particularly people facing insurmountable debt) are lured into an elaborate game on a secret island with a prize of nearly $40 million. The rules are simple. 1. Contestants play children’s games. 2. There are six rounds, each containing its own game. 3. Each round, those who lose will be eliminated until only one winner emerges from the final round. The assumption is that losers will simply leave. Little did they know that “elimination” entails something far more nefarious: death, which they don’t discover until over 200 people are killed in cold blood. Another interesting facet is the guards. They too are moved around like cannon fodder by the elites who run this sick, elaborate spectacle.
Squid Game has plenty of redeeming factors. The quality of the acting, which I found too histrionic in the beginning, is ultimately believable. The screenwriting is as sharp as it is creative. The cinematography paints a surreal, colorful world that feels like the backdrop of a video game, all exaggerated shapes, sizes, and harsh edges. Also, the characters are compelling; you find yourself rooting for some to win triumphantly and others to fail dramatically. Many of them undergo enormous trauma and transformation, and the actors rise to the challenge of portraying believable emotions in an unbelievable setting. To be fair, this show will not go down in my head as a “classic,” but it was enough to lure me into devouring all nine episodes in less than 24 hours. Granted, Squid Game is too graphic for even some of you who tolerated the Hunger Games series. Otherwise, this is truly an immersive and stupendous experience with some crazy twists that will leave you shocked.
Netflix’s popular thriller series Money Heist is coming back! It is entering its fifth and final season. The Spanish TV series will be split into two volumes of five episodes each. They have managed to rescue Lisbon, played by Itziar Ituno, but their darkest moment is upon them after losing one of their own. “The Professor (Alvaro Morte) has been captured by Sierra (Najwa Nimri) and, for the first time, doesn’t have an escape plan. Just when it seems like nothing else could go wrong, an enemy comes on the scene that is much more powerful than any they’ve faced: the army. The end of the greatest heist in history is approaching, and what began as a robbery will turn into a war,” reads the official logline of the last chapter. The fifth season of the popular series Money Heist is all set to release. While fans are super excited for the same, one question that is on everyone’s mind is if the new season will have the tragic death of their beloved character – the Professor.
While several fan theories have predicted that the Professor could meet his end in the very first episode of the new season, one must also notice the hints regarding the fate of the professor in the trailer. In the season 5 trailer, Professor says, “It’s possible this is the last time I speak to you.” The trailer also presents how Alicia Sierra has tied him up in chains. In another scene, she throws him from an elevated height.
Money Heist will drop heavy grenade this season as the makers promise a loaded show with more twists, a gripping storyline and a tale of complex human emotions offering an engaging ride. With regards to film and TV, there are a few things you in all likelihood believe are simply commonly utilized time and again. It very well may be the acceptable young lady adores the terrible kid, or how the scoundrel appears to consistently hold a type of European articulation. In any case, the one figure of speech which appears to be way abused? The possibility that a narrative can be downright old exhausting.
Fortunately, in advanced Hollywood, that thought can without much of a stretch be crushed, on account of some great subjects. Name : The Social Dilemma Director : Jeff Orlowski Genre: Documentary-Drama Language: English Streaming Platform: Netflix
Consider how many times you’ve been searching online shopping sites or even just having a chat with a friend about the one pair of boots you’ve been eyeing online, just to be bombarded with ads for the same product an hour later – this isn’t a coincidence, and The Social Dilemma examines how this happens and why we, as users, should begin to be suspicious of the content and messages we receive.
Jeff Orlowski’s film The Social Dilemma was released on Netflix in September 2020, right in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic that forever changed the face of social media. The film follows a group of former employees of social media behemoths (Google, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook), all of whom quit their jobs due to ethical issues. The documentary also includes a dramatisation that attempts to depict the inner workings of these corporations and the methods they use to manipulate and direct human behaviour in an imaginative and objective manner. Although there is no doubt that technology has improved our lives by allowing us to access limitless information at the touch of a button and promoting interpersonal contact between people all over the world, the documentary focuses on how businesses use the information they collect about their customers to create strategies to keep their interest and increase profits. The Social Dilemma contains several shocking data about the effect of social media on mental health, which has resulted in skyrocketing depression and suicide rates among young adolescent girls – unsurprisingly, young adolescent girls make up the majority of this demographic. The “digital pacifier effect” is explained by Jonathan Haidt, an American social psychologist: when a consumer turns to the media to alleviate anxiety, dopamine is released in the brain, and this mechanism is cyclical. “There are only two businesses that call their consumers ‘users’: illicit drugs and software,” says a quote from the documentary. Edward Tufte is a writer and academic who is well-known for his contributions to the field of.
You are not alone if you felt unsettled and vulnerable after watching this film. We genuinely believe that we choose the content we consume because of social media’s illusion of power. However, there are some easy measures we can take to actively combat such algorithms and regain control of our behaviour, such as reducing non-urgent app alerts, avoiding clickbait content and suggested videos, and fact-checking information across multiple channels before liking or sharing it.
A fake Netflix-like app promises to provide free Netflix content.
The FlixOnline spread malware via WhatsApp conversations.
After hundreds of downloads from Play store, it was finally removed.
About 3 weeks ago, this is what has happened.
As users of internet, we are advised to use apps from reliable sources like Google play store or Apple app store. But sometimes, fake apps like FlixOnline bypasses the online security and protection of Play store and enters it. The FlixOnline combines the popularity of Netflix, the traditional social trigger (‘free’) and the pandemic situation to its favour.
Instead of doing what it says it does, it sends automated reply to WhatsApp conversations luring them with free Netflix. The “wormable” malware spreads further via malicious links. The automated message says “2 Months of Netflix Premium Free at no cost For REASON OF QUARANTINE (CORONA VIRUS) * Get 2 Months of Netflix Premium Free anywhere in the world for 60 days. Get it now HERE ” and it provides a link. The link was designed to gain complete access to the user’s WhatsApp if clicked. “Theoretically, through these auto-generated replies, a hacker can steal data, cause business interruptions on work related chat groups, and even extortion by sending sensitive data to all the users contacts,” the researchers noted.
The FlixOnline malware when installed requests ‘Overlay’, ‘Battery Optimization Ignore’ and ‘Notification’ permissions. These are used to create new windows on top of other apps. The new windows are often designed to look like fake login pages nudging the users to enter authentic credentials. The notification access enables to app to “dismiss” or “reply” to messages while the battery optimization access is used to keep the app running in spite of turning off the app.
The Check Point Research notified the Google about this malicious app that was in its platform. Google was quick to remove it. It was reported that, in the course of 2 months, there were around 500 downloads.
To keep the phone safe, uninstall the app immediately and do not click any malicious links. Recheck your WhatsApp if any messages have been sent. Resetting the system would clear any malicious codes or files in it.
Next time, if something says ‘free’, BEWARE, it might ‘cost’ you a lot.
Over the last weekend, all I can notice on social media was Netflix’s latest docu-reality series, which was trending on number #2 “Indian Matchmaking”. People on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook were criticizing the show and the memes were being circulated, I am no fan reality shows but I was just curious to know what the fuzz is all about.
The show begins with a woman (Akshay’s mom) listing all the qualities, to a Mumbai based matchmaker- Sima Taparia, that she is looking for in her future daughter-in-law, and trust me when I say this that 10 minutes into the show and I am already hating it but I still watched 2 episodes in the same sitting. “I shouldn’t be watching this shit,” I say to myself but somehow, I finished all eight episodes of the show in a matter of hours within a day. The show is downright cringe-worthy. Sima Taparia, the narrator makes pretty nasty and mean comments, especially about girls who are ambitious, independent, and looking for a partner that would treat her as an equal. Such girls for Sima Aunty are stubborn, not-flexible, demanding, and difficult to find a match for; while on the other hand if a boy demands those qualities then it is normal. So much for the double standards. The show without doubts contains all the elements of a binge-worthy reality show- A man-child, who wants a wife like his mother, nosy mother, who blackmails by pointing to her high blood pressure the boy into marrying, a most probably closeted guy, an ambitious, career-oriented woman, a face reader, astrologers, life-coach, and US-based scenes. It is worth all the hate and I too watched it under the hate spell.
It happens to a lot of us that we get glued to television for such shows that we hate, those shows don’t make any sense, we make fun of them, get offended by them but we still binge them. But why does that happen? Why can’t we stop watching something that we do not like? According to psychology and communications experts, love and hate are 2 strong emotions and once our emotions are unleashed, whether it’s because we’re very attracted to something or very repelled by something if we feel strongly enough about it, we want to know more, we grow curious about it.
The same happened with Indian Matchmaking, I was annoyed by Sima Taparia and other problematic characters and it unleashed my emotions. I was furious when Sima Taparia said, “Indians don’t like lawyers as a daughter-in-law”, words like “flexible”, “compromise”, “tall”, “well-settled” were thrown around and I was screaming, “Why even bother getting married then?” at my TV screen when Sima Taparia said, “In India, marriages are breaking like biscuits” and thus her job is getting tougher. But with every episode I felt that I do want to know what is going to happen next in their lives, I might miss something and everyone is already talking about it. When there are no good options about what to do, we tend to do this like binge-watching a show that you dislike because you have developed an interest as it is more interesting than doing nothing.
When we start a show that we begin to hate, we think that we have wasted our time by start watching it in the first place and to compensate the lost time and effort we keep going on in a hope that we will get at least something out of it in the end. And eventually what happens is you dislike it more and more, you waste more and more money, and things generally just get worse.
But how do we stop this hate-binge? Well, psychologists suggest that turning off the auto-play is a good start, if you don’t like something in the first two episodes stop watching it then and there and if you feel peer pressure by the Social Media into watching the entire series because everyone else has, try to start a new series and then go back to the one you hated. I honestly would love to try this technique out because hate-binge just makes you feel guilty and nothing good comes out of that.
In the modern world, the target audience captivated by the introduction of web series in my opinion is nothing but stupendous.
The indulgement has reached a point where people expect more from the storyline and climaxes than they do from the government or what’s happening around the world which sure sounds vague but is the harsh reality and I would on no uncertain terms deny my participation in it.
On the contrary, web series do provide us with an array of genres to learn and get entertained from and are a glorious source of information if one wishes to perceive it that way. In the present day with the spread of the pandemic and the concept of “social distancing” , which sure is a blessing in disguise for our worthy couch potatoes and the busy youth.
It is giving them the time they need to catch up, relax and binge watch their favourite web series leading to off the charts increase in the indulgence of the same but now enough of the intellectual aspects of it and let’s get to the part we all enjoy.
So embrace yourselves while I take you on a ride with me exploring the top 5 web series that in my perception will keep you on the edge of your seats and will not disappoint. Being a web series fanatic myself, the series I would like to inaugurate this journey with is none other than the classic,
SHERLOCK
“I’m not a psychopath, I’m a highly functioning sociopath”
One of the most beloved lines of the British crime series which is based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s books comprising of detective stories named as “Sherlock Holmes” originally .The series is based around Sherlock, a man with extraordinary observatory skills which is played by Benedict Cumberbatch who is then accompanied by his roommate Dr. John H. Watson who recently moved in at 221 B Baker Street played by Martin Freeman.
They work as a team to solve twisted crimes as “consulting detectives” in modern day London. Although most people were suspicious of Holmes at first, but over time his exceptional intellect and bold powers of observation as mentioned above persuade them of his value.
Dr. Watson who used to blog about the adventures and cases they have been to and witnessed, lead to Holmes becoming a reluctant celebrity with the media reporting on his cases and eccentric personal life. Both the ordinary civilians and the British Government including his sibling Mycroft Holmes would ask for his help.
The series depicts variety of crimes and perpetrators, conflict with nemesis Jim Moriarty who is another intellectually supreme fellow is recurring feature.
Now coming to my opinion and why I would like to suggest this to you, the readers, is because the genre being crime, it keeps you on your feet the entire turn with the suspense and the plot twists which I personally enjoy making the episode “The Abominable Bride” my favourite so I recommend this show to each and every one of you out there hope you enjoy.
Black Mirror
“So many choices, you end up not knowing which one you want”
Once again we have with us a series that will leave you flabbergasted with its jaw dropping premise and unusual yet true discoveries and logics.
It is a British Sci-Fi anthology series created by Charlie Brooker. It examines modern society, particularly with regard to the unanticipated consequences of the newly discovered technologies .The episodes are usually set in an alternative present or the past or the coming future and sure does demand your maximum indulgence.
The thing that intrigues me the most and keeps me occupied is the phenomenal representation of the things that we face in daily life but with a totally different perception and is a show worth your time and brains.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D
“Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division.”
One of the finest picks for MCU enthusiasts as it reveals and answers most of the questions that organically arise in an individual’s mind after watching the movies and reading the comics and yet feeling like they have not been answered.
S.H.I.E.L.D ,a peacekeeping and spy organisation in a world of superheroes is led by none other than Phil Collins who is dead as we know from the previous movies making it more interesting on how is he still the leader ?Well to answer that you have to be a part of this show.
The entire series is dedicated to how a small bunch of trained agents fight injustice opposed by alien terrorist organisations such as Hydra, I’m sure the MCU fans know what I’m talking about and witness way too many hurdles in their way yet come out victorious with their team work and the training that they behold.
All I can say is it is a must watch for you Marvel fanatics out there trust me you will not be disappointed instead feel like all your questions have been answered.
Marlon
“If you are going to black up, they are going to back up”
An ultimate test for your tickle bones as I can bet money on the fact that you will crack up at every joke made not because it’s just funny but because it’s really smart and witty along with being funny.
It’s a story of a divorced couple who have two kids and are still more like best friends than ex husband and wife while the ex husband being a very established comedian in real life, Marlon Wayne is a youtuber and has an elite sense of humour and the entire series revolve around them being there for their kids incorporated with fun little feuds with one another and the other characters in the show.
In totality it is a light hearted yet superiorly funny show and I give it a solid 10/10 in the genre of comedy.
The Mentalist
“My memory is a mighty fortress, Lisbon, from which no fact ever escapes once committed”
Another American drama thriller series which will leave you in a state of shock once the story starts taking its turns.
Patrick Jane, an independent consultant for the CBI formerly considered as a “psychic” uses his extra ordinary skill sets of observation and contemplation of the body language and the minute details to help the CBI solve numerous cases and is doing that in return to gain help from the CBI to catch his forever nemesis who goes by the name of Red John as he killed his daughter and wife in bright daylight and Patrick is out for seeking revenge.
Again a show I highly suggest if you are in the search of getting yourself amazed. With that we come to the end of the journey and I hope the suggestions made by me suit you and help you pass time in the current scenario of social distancing.
I discovered “The Bold Type” after a draining day at school. I had just screwed up an exam and I was in desperate need for an escape. Now, a couple years and four seasons later, “The Bold Type” is still a source of constant comfort.
Whether it is professional or personal, there are plenty of life lessons that I picked up while watching the show.
DON’T BE AFRAID TO STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN– Kat is one of the most outspoken characters on the web, she like the title is the embodiment of bold. Kat does not shy away from confrontation and believes in taking a firm stand. She is comfortable expressing herself, her opinions and her beliefs no matter what. Her strong stands even cost Kat her dream job , nevertheless she did not shy away from doing the right thing and curved a new path for herself to continue doing what she loves to do even when the conditions aren’t favourable enough.
FAILURE HAPPENS. THINGS DON’T WORK OUT SOMETIMES. MOVE ON– As someone who wants to prefect everything they do, this hits home. Failure is a part of life. Just because you failed at one thing doesn’t mean you’re bad at everything or that you can’t try again.
HAVING A SUPPORT GROUP IS IMPORTANT – Jane, Kat and Sutton support each other through thick and thin- Every bump in the road, every achievement, every rock bottom, every celebration. Get yourself a friends group that is there for you without any strings attached. Everything is a gazillion times better when you have a support group. Take it from me, 2020 would have been hell if it wasn’t for my girl gang.
IT’S OKAY TO NOT BE SURE ABOUT YOUR CAREER CHOICES– In the course of 4 seasons, Sutton went from a personal assistant to a fashion assistant to an aspiring designer to a stylist. She admits that she is undecided about her career choices but is willing to experiment what she desires to see what suits her best.
YOU HAVE TO START FROM SQUARE 1– Since the first episode of season 1, the girls knew where they wanted to be, personally and professionally, and they were on the way to achieve it. However in the latter seasons we discover that the they all started from the bottom: Sutton was a temp, Jane started as an intern and Kat worked for someone who was clueless about how to make hits on any social media platform. It was a great reminder that everyone has to start at the bottom.
BE INSPIRED BY STRONG WOMEN– Connecting with such strong female-empowering character leads in The Bold Type is so important for any viewer because it gives an insight into loving what you do, being more understanding, and realising that you don’t have to go through the tough times in life alone. Early on in the show, Kat starts explore her sexuality and discovers what it means to find yourself before giving it all to someone else. Jane is driven by what her heart tells her and she goes through numerous personal ups and downs and still finds a way to keep going. Having strong women around them as helped them overcome the obstacles they faced and to come to terms with what is going on in their lives.
Being bold can be terrifying but it’s great to have shows like ‘The Bold Type’ inspire us and help us put into perspective how we can be bolder and live our life on our terms.
