‘With the Photographer’ by Stephen Leacock.

“Is it me?”, I asked.

Have you had an instance where you had wondered if the person in the picture is you? Has your photo been photoshopped to the point where it departs from resemblance to you? If so, the quote will be relatable.

Stephen Leacock, a Canadian writer, is best known for his humor. Through his light-hearted and humorous writings, he brings out the follies in people. His essay ‘With the Photographer’, as the title suggests, gives an encounter between the narrator and a photographer. The narrator enters the studio and takes his seat. The photographer remarks on the narrator’s face and how he doesn’t like it.

“The face is quite wrong,” he said.

“I know,” I answered quietly, ”I have always known it.”

The photographer further instructs on how to pose and this forms a funny narrative in the essay. This also reminds us how we are often told by the photographers when we go to the studio. The photographer keeps stressing on the narrator’s face which makes him angry. Unable to withstand such remarks, the narrator utters these words.

“Stop,” I said with emotion but, I think, with dignity. “The face is my face. It is not yours, it is mine. I’ve lived with it for forty years and I know its faults, I know it is out of drawing. I know it wasn’t made for me, but it’s my face, the only one I have–”…”such as it is, I’ve learned to love it.”

The passage also makes us think about ourselves. Instead of resenting ourselves for not reaching the so-called beauty standards, we should learn to accept and love ourselves for who we are. We may not be beautiful but there is no fault in it. It is no mistake. Learning to love ourselves is the first step to a happy life.

Not heeding to his words, the photographer takes a picture of the narrator when he was speaking. The photographer asks the narrator to come again on Saturday to get the picture. When the narrator visits the studio on Saturday, he is bewildered at the photograph of him. The photo no longer looks like him and the reason is because the photographer had retouched it. This ‘retouch’ can be considered as a photoshop of that age. He had used chemicals like Delphide and Sulphide to ‘retouch’ the picture. The photographer is proud of the changes he made in the photograph and how he made the ugly features of the narrator look good. This only angers the narrator.

“Listen! I came here for a photograph – a picture – something which would have looked like me. I wanted something that would depict my face as Heavens gave it to me, humble though the gift may have been. I wanted something that my friends might keep after my death, to reconcile them to my loss. It seems that I was mistaken. What I wanted is no longer done. …”

Spilling these words, the narrator leaves the studio with tears. Though the essay seems funny, it leaves a room for profound discussion.

‘Where is my BEST HUSBAND Award?’

“She’s not even appreciating me for doing the household chores and managing the kids myself for the whole day…!!!”

Excuse me, What? Are you asking for an award just because you did the work that women have been doing almost everyday since ages?

This might sound astonishing to you but this is what our society has been fighting for. By ‘Our Society’, I indirectly mean to point out ‘Our patriarchal Society’.

We hear this word ‘Patriarchy’ on a day-to-day basis now, but what is the meaning of this word? Patriarchy simply means the supremacy of the male members of the family. What it indirectly hints at is the inferiority of the female members. We have witnessed this patriarchy since we were kids. Don’t tell me you did not. When you were asked who your superhero is, Didn’t you respond- Dad? We have always seen our mothers working day and night at home doing all the household chores, managing the kids, cooking the food and yet no one has ever appreciated her work. This is a very minute example for the patriarchal system that continues to be passed on as a legacy to every next generation.

But didn’t patriarchy exist before? And if it did then why was it not so much talked about? The simple answer to this is the lack of awareness among the women to acknowledge the wrongs being done to them. And one cannot fight the issue which is not even accepted as an issue. In the times of our grandparents, everyone believed this is how life ought to be and thus women accepted every dominance done by the opposite gender.

Today the means of communications have excelled and it has become quite easy for us to know what is going on in the other parts of the world. Because of the developed communication, social media and other sources, the women are aware of what is wrong and as the common proverb of hindi says, ‘Bardaasht karne ki bhi hadd hoti hai, jab sanyam ka ghada bhar jaata hai toh wo toot jaata hai’ Loosely translated: There is a limit to tolerate and when enough of the patience is tested, it breaks. This can also be the reason why women are raising their voices against the patriarchal norms.

While there are so many patriarchal customs being followed in our society, there are still many who deny it exists. For those denying these, some of them are listed below:

Dowry System:

  • This is one of the major reasons why women are considered as a liability on the family. There’s a celebration on the birth of the boy child whereas the family mourns when a girl child is born because when she’ll be married the family will have to arrange the dowry. As a solution to this many girl children are killed as a foetus whereas others are drowned in the milk vessel after birth.
  • If somehow the girl manages to escape the cruelty from their paternal family, she is killed by her in-laws if they are not satisfied with the dowry. This is termed as ‘dowry death’ in our Indian constitution. According to Indian National Crime Record Bureau, there were 8,239 dowry death cases, 1,285 cases of attempted dowry deaths, and another 4,890 cases with pending investigations in 2009.

Sati Pratha:

  • ‘Shave her head, break her bangles’; ‘Who will take care of the child, you must remarry’. These are two different cases- First, when the husband dies; Second, when the wife dies.
  • It has always been believed in our Indian society that a woman’s life is nothing after her husband. After the death of a husband, a widow is seen as a public property by other men and as unluck by her own family. She is not allowed to enter holy events because her presence is considered inauspicious. Imagining the atrocities of this, many women wilfully gave up their lives by sitting alive on the burning pyre.

Ridiculous, Isn’t it? But many of these customs have been eradicated with the help of new laws and orders regulated by our constitution. In modern India, people have derived modern ways of formulating the patriarchy. Some of them can be listed as:

Unequal Pay:

  • When there is no inequality found in assigning the tasks to women, there is a major difference found in their pay-scale. This is one of the major issues found in the corporate world and even the movie industry. This issue needs to be spoken of.

Lack of policies:

  • While many companies offer paid maternity leave, there are still many companies who fail to provide the same. Left with no option, women have to leave their jobs. There is still the lack of creche facilities in every domain of the work sector. While fathers enjoy their fatherhood, we need to ask the mothers who lost their careers for their child.
  • Many companies lack the policies to safeguard women’s right resulting in the rise sexual harassment cases at work place. Due to the lack of these policies today only 6% of urban women enjoy employment.

Overburdening:

  • Some years ago, women used to manage the household. With the increasing inflation rate, it has become almost inevitable for women to not work. Women are stepping forward to share the responsibilities of their husbands, but this case isn’t vice versa.
  • With women stepping into the work-sector their workload seems to just have increased. Now they have to manage their work at the workplace and also complete their household chores. Too unfair!

For how many is this overburdening going to continue? It is high time for every woman to speak against injustice. Our Society really needs to understand that, ‘Women are not the goddess of sacrifice neither are they a sexual toy to be played with.’ As our former Prime Minister said: You can tell the condition of a Nation by looking at the status of its Women, Women are not a liability for the nation, instead they are an asset.

DYSTOPIAN LITERATURE

You may have heard about ‘The Hunger Games’, ‘Divergent’, ‘The Maze Runner’ but have you noticed the elements they have in common? All represent a wretched state of society characterized by oppression, unhappiness, and rebellion. They all belong to the genre of dystopian literature.

In the 16th century, Thomas More dreamed of Utopia – an ideal state of things, people and society are happy and peaceful deprived of sadness and destruction. The following centuries proved it impossible for such a state to prevail. There were endless wars, revolts and rebellion, exploitation, unprecedented scientific discoveries, and disruption. All these provided endless materials for the new form of literature – the Dystopian literature.

Dystopia is contrary to Utopia. Dystopia characterizes a complete havoc and a wrecked state which is beyond repair. It portrays an imperfect world. The main themes of such a literature are extreme divisions in society, rebellion, environmental destruction, disaster and dehumanization.

As seen in the above mentioned fictions, there is an organization or a character with a propaganda to dictate people of the state. In such a state, there is a difference of power leading the citizens to an unfair treatment and are left to live in poor conditions. President Snow in The Hunger Games has complete control over the people and people lead their life adhering to his regulations. And so, there is a clear difference in the standards of living between the people of Panem and other districts.

There is no independence, free access to information and all are expected to be uniform leaving no place for individuality. People of the state idolize an authoritarian or an idea. The characters or the people live in an illusion that their society is an utopia. In the Divergent series by Veronica Roth, the state, which is set in Chicago, is divided into five factions namely Abnegation, Erudite, Amity, Dauntless and Candor. It is expected of all people to fall into either one of the factions. But we see that the protagonists Beatrice and Tobias, who don’t belong to any of these factions, are ostracized. In the beginning, the characters in the story believe such a division in society as ideal and necessary for an order in the state.

The characters are often monitored by some authority and nothing misses their watch. Being confined to their own little world, characters fear entering the outside world. They are ignorant of what lies outside their state. The outside world is either banished or not allowed to interact. In The Maze Runner series by James Dashner, the Gladers are constantly watched by some mysterious authority which is later found out to be WICKED. Being shut in the Glade, the characters don’t know what lies outside the maze for none has reached it and came back alive. They accept the challenge and make it out of the maze. They later notice that the outside state is in a state of ruin with a dangerous virus called Flare affecting people. So, the immune Gladers are not allowed to interact with the outside world.

Dystopian literature is also speculative literature. They hypothesize of a future which present conditions may lead to and warns of the imminent dangers. It also criticizes those aspects of society which may cause the downfall in the near future.  Now look around and ask yourself if you are living in dystopia.

Armed with PPE kits, Sisters protecting their netizens.

An article to pay tribute to all the frontline nurses on this INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY.

When we have always celebrated the Raksha-Bandhan tying the Rakhi on our brother’s hand, we need to understand that in this pandemic it is not just the brothers who are protecting us but the Sisters who wear their armor as PPE kits and are battling against the virus. Today is the day we pay tribute to them, Yes today is International Nurses Day.

International Nurses Day is an annual event celebrated on 12th May every year. It marks the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, an English nurse, a social reformer, and a statistician who founded the key pillars of modern nursing. It is commemorated every year by the International Council of Nurses (ICN) who also decides the theme of the event. The ICN’s key pillars are Professional practice, Regulation, and Socio-economic welfare. The theme for International Nurses Day 2021 is ‘Nurses: A Voice to Lead- A vision for future healthcare’.

While declaring the theme for IND 2021 on 15 October 2020, ICN President, Annette Kennedy said, ‘This global COVID-19 pandemic has shown the world the important role that nurses play in keeping people healthy across the lifespan, While there has been significant disruption to healthcare, there has also been significant innovation that has improved access to care. In 2021, we will focus on the changes to and innovations in nursing and how this will ultimately shape the future of healthcare.’

According to the WHO, ‘nurses account for more than half of all the world’s health workers, yet there is an urgent shortage of nurses worldwide with 5.9 million (2020) more nurses still needed, especially in low and middle-income countries.’ As reported by INC on 31 December 2020, more than 1.6 million healthcare workers have been infected by the virus while battling against it.

Though being at the forefront since the pandemic started, many people fail to appreciate the services of a nurse which leads to the inhumane behavior towards the nurse. They forget that if doctors are able to save lives, it is because of the equal assistance given by the nurses. Nurses are the hospitality of the hospital. Let us not forget their selfless devotion and dedication to saving lives. Here is a video of frontline workers raising the spirits of patients:

This day comes of great significance in the middle of the pandemic. It is a great opportunity for us to pay a tribute to these heroes and express our gratitude for their noble work. Let’s laud them for their service towards humanity; ‘Respect and Gratitude…!!!’

Let’s conclude this article with the following lines from Muskurayega India:

Phir se sadakon pe sab naachenge (The roads will again be filled with dances)
Patri pe pahiye bhaagenge (The wheels will bustle again on the tracks)
Goonjege khelon ke maidaan (The Playgrounds will feel lively again)
Baatenge sab khushiyan (Everyone will share the happiness)
Gham bhi hum milkar baatenge (and will also share the griefs)
Phir se hogi sapno ki udaan (The dreams will catch a flight again)

Are you neglecting the Little Things in your life?

We are so much consumed in achieving the big goals of our life that we forget to appreciate the small moments which can provide us immense happiness. After all, the big moments are comprised of hundreds of small decisions and moments of our life.

Having big goals and being dedicated towards them is great, No doubt!. But if you get too caught up in getting to the destination you might forget to appreciate the journey. These little moments are like the journey when you enjoy the journey you achieve fulfillment. There’s a quote by Bruce Burton that says” Sometimes I consider what tremendous consequences come from little things, I am tempted to think there are no little things.

When you neglect to enjoy the little things in your life, you are left with struggles, stress, burden, and challenges.

Life moves so fast that we are on autopilot mode. We are in a state of the perpetual task of life. But sometimes you gotta halt and look around yourself for a moment and enjoy the little things you come across in your way.

When you have an appreciation for little things in life, you experience a sense of happiness and fulfillment. So pay attention to the little moment and be thankful for them.

Artificial Intelligence Techniques

Artificial intelligence (AI) is the displaying and reproduction of the manner in which people think and act. Antiquated civilisations in Greece, Egypt and China have concocted the possibility of mechanical men and robotization. Scholars as far back as Aristotle have attempted to concoct various strategies to portray human ideas and information. Man-made intelligence draws on the innovative work from different orders including reasoning, science, financial aspects, neuroscience, brain research, semantics and PC designing. Through reproducing the manner in which people think and act, we can utilize machines to assist us with tackling a considerable lot of the issues people face.

The introduction of artificial intelligence

The Turing Test, proposed by Alan Turing in 1950, is a technique used in AI for deciding if a machine is equipped for having a similar outlook as a person. The test stays important today and in his proposition, six controls of AI were depicted:

  • Regular language handling
  • Information portrayal
  • Mechanized thinking
  • AI
  • Computer Vision
  • Robotics

Symbolic AI techniques are based on high-level “symbolic” (human-readable) representations of problems, logic and search. Symbolic AI was the dominant paradigm of AI research from the mid-1950s until the late 1980s. One popular form of symbolic AI is expert systems, which uses a network of production rules. Two main areas continue to be highly researched are robotics and computer vision dealing with image processing and spatial awareness.

Robotics

The Babylonians developed the clepsydra in around 600BC, a clock that measures time using the flow of water. It’s considered one of the first “robotic” devices in history. Subsequently, inventors like Aristotle, Leonardo da Vinci, Joseph Marie Jacquard have come up with various designs and implementations of robotics.

Computer Vision

Marvin Minksy was one of the initial individuals to connect computerized vision to AI through a computer during the 60s. He educated an alumni understudy to associate a camera to a computer and have it portrayed what it sees. During the 80s, specialists began to investigate various strategies for picture acknowledgment. Kunihiko Fukushima constructed the ‘neocognitron’, which is the forerunner of current Convolutional Neural Networks. Notwithstanding, because of absence of handling power at that point and helpless comprehension of neural organizations, improvement in this space was hindered as a component of the AI winter period.

During the 90s, we started to see expanded utilization of computer vision in the space of observation. Going into the 21st century, examination and business utilization of computer vision saw a remarkable development. Google had a major influence in utilizing its enormous ranches of computers to create picture acknowledgment neural organizations and other huge players followed. Today, computer vision is essential for our regular day to day existences from the applications we use on our telephones to assembling, reconnaissance, craftsmanship and transportation.

Machine Learning

Machine learning includes calculations that empower programming to improve its presentation over the long run as it gets more information. This is modifying by input-yield models instead of simply coding and is a type of example acknowledgment. In this field, there is a need to take care of machines with a great deal of information for the machine to learn and make forecasts. Machines can learn in numerous measurements and interact with a lot of information.

Deep Learning

Deep learning is an AI work worried about calculations propelled by the construction and capacity of the cerebrum called neural organizations (NN). Deep Learning utilizes layers of calculations to handle information where data is gone through each layer, with the yield of the past layer giving contribution to the following layer. The principal layer in an organization is known as the info layer, while the latter is called a yield layer. Every one of the layers between the two are alluded to as covered up layers. Each layer is regularly a basic, uniform calculation containing one sort of actuation work. Learning can be administered, semi-managed or unaided. The three primary sorts of NN are artificial neural organizations (ANN), convolutional neural organizations (CNN) and repetitive neural organizations (RNN).

Powerful Web Development Tools in 2022

Web Development Framework

Web development frameworks are programming frameworks utilized by engineers to facilitate a web application measure that incorporates web assets, web administrations, and web API. They help engineers focus more on their undertakings as opposed to the intricate coding part. Web system helps in the:

It works on the upkeep and improvement of a web application.

A system intends to let planners or engineers center around building a special element for their web-based ventures. Presently, in view of your task, you may pick one web structure that satisfies every one of your necessities.

  • Frameworks help engineers save time and energy during application development as they don’t have to zero in on meeting taking care of, blunder dealing with, information sanitisation, and so on
  • Frameworks that as of now have a decent skeleton design to utilize can make efficient web applications all the more without any problem,
  • Facilitates troubleshooting, application arrangement, and support
  • They offer apparatuses to cover the basic CRUD cases like make, read, update, erase
  • They have implicit security includes that naturally shield the website from both present and future security dangers
  • Improves Database Proficiency
  • Decreases Code Length

1. React.js

It is in fact not a framework. Indeed, React is a library for building composable UIs. It is a revelatory, proficient, and adaptable open-source JavaScript library that assists with making quick, straightforward, and versatile frontends of web applications.

React.js was made by Facebook in 2011, and in 2013, Facebook made it open-source. At first, the engineer local area dismissed it, as it utilized Markup and JavaScript in a solitary document. Be that as it may, when more individuals began trying different things with it, they began inviting the segment driven methodology for isolating concerns.

An ever increasing number of organizations perceive the significance of a decent User Experience, and React.js fills in as the most straightforward approach to smooth out your application experience. All things considered, we should see its advantages.

benefits

  • Is flexible: Compared to other front-end frameworks, the React code is easier to maintain also due to its modular structure, it is flexible. This flexibility saves a huge amount of time and money to businesses.
  • It makes complex apps run extremely fast: React.js was designed to provide high performance in mind. The core of the framework offers: A virtual DOM program and Server-side rendering. This makes complex apps run extremely fast.
  • Easy to learn: Compared to Angular & Vue, React.js is much easier to learn. This is one of the reasons why React gained popularity so fast. It helps businesses build their projects faster. Many businesses and big brands are more likely to use React as it is a simple framework that is easy to learn and get started with.
  • Helps build rich user interfaces: Today, the user interface (UI) quality matters a lot. If your application’s UI is poor, chances are that your application won’t succeed. At the same time, if your application is of top-notch, then there are better chances that your users will love to use your application. And, React.js can help you create such kinds of applications.
  • It is SEO-friendly: If you don’t know, let me tell you, for online business, SEO is the gateway to success. Page loading speed is one of the critical factors that help your site rank high in search engines. When faster a page loads, the chances are more your app will rank better on search engines.

2. Angular

Precise is a sought after open-source advancement JavaScript framework kept up by Google. Google works this framework and is intended to be utilized for creating rich Single Page Applications (SPA). It can make every one of the intelligent components we ordinarily find on a site. Over a large portion of 1,000,000 sites like Google, Youtube, Netflix, and so forth, utilize Angular.

benefits

  • Supports SPA features: SPAs are a web application type that loads a single HTML page. The page is updated dynamically according to the user’s interaction with the web app. SPAs provide a better user experience as no one likes to wait too long for reloading the whole webpage.
  • Has a declarative UI: Angular creates templates using HTML. It is a declarative language that is popularly used. Thanks to its scalability and innate intuitiveness.
  • Has a two-way binding feature: Angular has a two-way binding feature. The benefit of two-way binding is almost automatic retrievals from (and updates to) the data store. When the data store updates, the UI also immediately gets updated.
  • Real-time testing: Angular allows for both end-to-end testing and unit testing. It offers a testing feature such as dependency injection that helps to oversee how the components of your web application are generated.
  • Cross-platform: You can use Angular to make web applications, native mobile apps desktop apps.

3.Vue.js:

Vue.js began as an individual task, and it immediately began getting perhaps the most moving JS frameworks out there. It is an open-source JS framework for making an imaginative UI. The reconciliation with Vue in projects utilizing other JS libraries is improved as it is intended to be versatile.

Right now, in excess of 36,000 sites are utilizing Vue. It is a much trustworthy stage for creating cross-stage. At the point when you need to assemble reformist web applications (PWAs) or web applications that must be more modest in size, you can pick Vue.js.

Benefits

  • Exceptionally little size: The accomplishment of the JS framework descends to its size. One of the huge benefits of Vue.js is its little size (18–21KB). Because of its more modest size, it takes no effort for the client to download it and use it.
  • Designer well disposed: Developers love Vue.js in light of the fact that it is created in view of them, and it is an extraordinary innovation.
  • It makes refreshing simple: After you have conveyed your application, you need to stay up to date with bug fixes, extra highlights, and different upgrades. It upholds two-way information restriction due to its MVVM (Model see Model) engineering. In this way, whatever refreshes you make in your UI, it will be reflected back to the information and the other way around.
  • Well known and picked by the best: While it’s simpler to discover designers who are as of now with React or Angular, the expectation to absorb information of Vue makes it simple to prepare your workers to utilize the innovation. That is to say, on the off chance that you as of now have a group of engineers, you don’t really need to enroll new ones.

ATTITUDE

My attitude is my unique gift which i am not obliged to explain to anyone.

4 Different Types of Attitudes of People As Per Psychology | Styles At Life

Our attitude defines our mood or behaviour towards things, situations and individuals. All humans are made up of different vital statistics, features , mental abilities and nature . While every human is similar in structure what makes them unique is your attitude. Attitude does not only depicts your behaviour but it also includes emotions, feelings and the way you look at things.

Having the right attitude is essential for a human being to keep moving successfully in life. Not every situation is the same but what matters is your attitude towards it. By feeling positive and taking things forward with the right attitude one can change their life.

My behaviour depends on your attitude and my attitude depends on your behaviour but my personality doesn’t depend on anything.

– Anshuman Sharma

Attitude refers to one’s behaviour and thinking . A person’s attitude is quickly analyzed by anyone by reading their body language, communication, skills and facial expressions. Since every human being has a different perspective on life, the attitude also differs in each individual . Some take life positively and lightly, while some do not believe in this agenda and tend to take too much stress in their daily lives which causes anxiety and depression. In simpler words, attitude is one’s behaviour and approach towards life. When you are positive, you tend to take everything with the right attitude and the right perspective which leads to fruitful things in life.

Their is the belief that when people have the right attitude they mostly succeed in their lives and every outcome comes out with flying colors . Having a positive attitude towards life can help you make the right decision even in the hard times. We can only drive our goals when we know how to take things with a positive spirit and let poor situations outside from life with a healthy frame of mind. If someone is making fun of your thoughts, looks, belief and more and you are positively taking up each challenge, then nobody can stop you from getting success in life. Moreover, if you think that you will not be able to do anything , you are pessimistic about life and skills. Thus, being optimistic plays a major role in driving through life with the right attitude.

All human creatures have different skills, which a person should explore themselves if you are thinking you’re not the right person by hearing some bad reviews about you. You’re making a wrong decision because this thing will not give you the success that you deserve. So, believing in your looks, skills and yourself is something that stands you out from the crowd. Some people believe that being rich or having money in your pocket can give you a chance to show yourself. Suppose you have talent that doesn’t just press it under your mouth . Show the world who you are and people will accept you when you have the right talent, the right platform and the right attitude to show them.

60 Best Behavior Quotes And Sayings

Make everything right with attitude… with right attitude!

Curfew Vs Lockdown

Difference between curfew and lockdown:
CURFEW
Curfew is an order or law that commands people to stay indoors after a certain time at night. In a curfew the Police Commissioner and the Collector holds the power. In addition to the act 144 all the other things are shut even the essentials except from emergency services like hospitals. The essentials such as grocery stores, vegetables, milk shops, ATM’s will also be shut during curfew. The district administration is free from the action once the curfew is implemented. Only the cops and the administrative people are allowed to come outdoors. The police have got all the rights to arrest a person who violates the curfew.
LOCKDOWN
Lockdown is under the control of the chief medical officer in a particular area under epidemic diseases act 1897. In a lockdown there should not be more than five people in closed quarters. All the essentials such as grocery stores, milk shops, ATM’s and vegetables will be open. In a lockdown the police don’t have the rights to arrest anyone who violates the lockdown, instead they can warn and advice the people to stay home. But if the person adversarial then the police have got all the rights to arrest the person under the section 269 and 270 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Be it Curfew or Lockdown please stay indoors. The world is facing the biggest crisis now and as humans we hold the greatest responssibility to save our own people. Amidst this pandemic people lend their helping hands just to save the fellow beings and keeping all these in mind and heart we should stay home. Stay Home Stay Safe..

DIET ANT NUTRITION DURING COVID-19

There is little doubt that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is affecting every aspect of our lives—from virtual classrooms to telecommuting to early restaurant closing times to outright quarantines. Observing public health measures and reducing exposure to the virus are required to slow the spread of this disease. No one knows how long these virus safety measures will need to stay in place, but it presents a perfect time to protect and improve your health while practicing social distancing. Healthy eating is especially important for keeping your immune system in top condition. Here are some steps you can take to eat healthy in the times of COVID.

THREE STEPS TO STAY HEALTHY DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC

1.Minimize the trips to the supermarket and eat healthy

Plan ahead. Visualize breakfast, lunch, and dinner for at least 5 days. What will you serve? What do you need? Consider the foods your family likes, your food preparation methods, interests and skills, and the time and energy you will have for preparing meals. Working from home may not mean there is more time to cook—especially if you are now responsible for teaching your kids and doing the work your employer expects.

Have children at home? Include children in meal planning, preparation, and clean up while teaching them writing, math, reading, and science.

  • Reading/Writing: Ask your kids to make a list of what’s in the pantry and refrigerator. Then, have them look through cookbooks or online recipes sites to find meals and snacks that use up what is on hand.  Have them share their breakfast, lunch, or dinner meal ideas.
  • Math: Find math in measuring spoons and cups, counting out numbers of ingredients, taking stock of pantry items, or planning the time it will take to prepare, cook, eat, and clean up a meal.
  • Science: Get kids involved in baking bread, cooking an egg, or creating a homemade salad dressing—then, search the internet to discover the science behind why ingredients change when they are combined, heated, or blended

Think nutrition. The healthiest meals emphasize whole grains, vegetables, and fruits—serve them in the greatest amounts.  Meat portions should be smaller—this will save money and help keep dietary saturated fat in check.

Make a shopping list—and use it!  You’ll be less like to forget items or buy impulse items.

Stock upon nutrition packed foods that stay fresh longer

  • Breads—corn tortillas, whole grain English muffins, bagels, breads, wraps, frozen whole wheat waffles
  • Grains—instant oatmeal, quick cooking pasta, frozen brown rice, couscous, refrigerated pizza crust
  • Fruits—sturdy fresh fruit (apples, citrus), dried, plain frozen, canned in juice or water
  • Vegetables—sturdy fresh veggies (celery, broccoli, onions, potatoes), plain frozen, low sodium canned, sun-dried
  • Sauces—tomato pasta sauce, salsa
  • Soups & Broths—canned, frozen, shelf-stable cartons
  • 100% Juice—refrigerated, frozen, canned, boxed
  • Milk—fresh, canned, shelf-stable packages
  • Eggs—fresh eggs, egg whites in cartons
  • Cheese—sliced, cubed, shredded, crumbled, grated hard cheese
  • Beans/Legumes—canned beans (black beans, chickpeas), dry beans
  • Nuts and seeds—bagged, canned, nut butters
  • Chicken—frozen or canned
  • Seafood—frozen ready-to-cook fish fillets, frozen shrimp, canned tuna, salmon, and sardines
  • Beef—pre-made frozen lean ground patties or meatballs
  • Flavorings—add zing with dried herbs & spices, vinegars, mustard, hot/steak sauces, lemon/lime juice, light dressings, honey, Greek yogurt

Go easy on the frozen dinners—most are high in sodium, fat, and calories.

Limit purchases of tempting foods like chips, sodas, cookies, and ice cream. They are high in empty calories and run up your grocery bill.

Keep costs down—consider low cost alternatives. Instead of buying ready-made hummus, pureed a drained can of chickpeas to make your own. Try a meatless meal, like chili with beans instead of beef. If fresh fruits and veggies are too costly—remember, canned and frozen fruits and vegetables provide the same nutrients as fresh. Best bets are plain frozen veggies and fruits. Go for low sodium canned veggies and fruits canned in juice or water—if these are in short supply, buy regular canned fruits and veggies—drain and rinse before use.

Think about friends and neighbors, especially older adults or those with health conditions. Could you save them a trip to the grocery store?

Try online shopping—it will save you time and let you keep your social distance. Be sure to play ahead, many stores need a day or two from order to delivery or pickup.

While at the supermarket during the Coronavirus pandemic…

Use a disinfecting wipe—wipe your hands and grocery cart handle, then put the wipe in the trash.

Prepared for the unexpected—supermarkets are running low on many items. Be sure to take your own bags. Be ready with a back-up plan if an ingredient you need is unavailable.

Keep the less fortunate in mind—contribute to local pantries and soup kitchens now. Then, when it is all over—donate extra food you stocked up on that is still fresh and safe to eat.

Use contactless payment or credit cards. If you use the payment keypad, tap the buttons and screen with your knuckle—then use hand sanitizer after completing your payment.

2.Eat out safely with restaurants curfews

If you want to have take-out meals, take the food home right away and eat it while it is hot. Store leftovers safely—wrap tightly and refrigerate any dishes with meat, fish, poultry, or dairy products—be sure to reheat these leftovers thoroughly before eating.

Make eating together at home a positive experience

Whether it is homemade or takeout, eating more meals at home is a new routine for many families. Keep the stress down by making mealtime fun.

  • Get the family involved—kids can help set the table, pour the water, make the salad, or grate the cheese. Make mealtimes a family affair.
  • Try some new recipes—if you have never made homemade pizza, roasted a whole chicken, or cooked meatballs from scratch—now is a good time to try!  There are lots of great recipes on the internet! Look for those that call for only a few ingredients and use common kitchen tools.
  • Reconnect with the family—eat together at the table or spread a blanket on the floor and have an indoor picnic. Be sure to separate mealtime and TV time—watching while eating makes it too easy to pay attention to TV and not your food, so you are likely to overeat. Wonder what to talk about at mealtime? Chat about things you will do this summer, tell jokes—just keep the conversation upbeat and fun.

3. Think positively -Mental health is more important

  • Practice positive stress management strategies. Walk the dog, call a friend, soak in the tub, or cuddle your kids. Skip the alcohol, tobacco, and drugs.
  • Stick with your routine as much as you can. Go to bed and get up in the morning on your usual schedule. Eat meals at regular times. Find ways to exercise away from the gym—do yoga in the living room, trim the hedge, have a scavenger hunt in the backyard with your kids, or just toss a ball or play tag as a family.
  • Manage boredom. Stay busy and engaged—resist hanging around the fridge or mindlessly watching TV. Enjoy your hobbies, read, cook, make videos with your kids, start a scrapbook, help your kids with their virtual schoolwork, and stay in touch with family, friends, and colleagues.

When you do go out, wash your hands before you leave home and as soon as you return.

Have a dry cough? Feeling feverish?  Hard time breathing? Don’t hesitate to reach out to your health care provider for further instructions.

We are all in facing this together. Let’s make the most of it to come out stronger and wiser and ready to enjoy all the wonderful times to come!

Life Lessons from ‘The Happy Prince’ by Oscar Wilde.

“The Happy Prince never dreams of crying for anything.”

The quote sounds ironic when one completely reads the short story, ‘The Happy Prince’ by Oscar Wilde. The short story is a beautiful tale of love, tears and a portrayal of cold reality. The statue of the Happy Prince is erected in the city.

“He was gilded all over with thin leaves of fine gold, for eyes he had two bright sapphires, and a large red ruby glowed on his sword hilt.”

Though all conceive the Happy prince to be happy, the Sparrow catches him weeping. When asked why he was weeping, the Happy Prince tells,

“When I was alive and had a human heart, I did not know what tears were, for I lived in the Palace of Sans Souci, where sorrow is not allowed to enter….And now that I am dead they have set me up here so high that I can see all the ugliness and all the misery of my city, and though my heart is made of lead yet I cannot choose but weep.”

Sometimes, we too, like the Happy Prince, turn a blind eye to people in misery around us. We are intent on satiating our own greed and desires that we don’t hear the wailing cries for help.

So the Happy Prince asks the Swallow to help him and the people by taking the rubies and sapphires out of him. When the Swallow helps the poor mother and child for the first time, the Swallow says,

“It is curious but I feel quite warm now, although it is so cold”.

Although the night was freezing, the Swallow felt warm because he had done a good deed. Nothing equals the happiness we get from committing a good deed. Share with others and serve for a good cause and so no matter how sad you are, you will be embraced by the warmth of love.

The Happy Prince gives away his eyes, beauty and luster for the welfare of the people in the town. So the Swallow becomes the Prince’s eyes for he tells what goes on in the town. The Swallow instead of joining his friends in Egypt remains by the Prince and tells him of Egypt. But the Happy Prince tells him to tell what he sees in the town for

“more marvelous than anything is the suffering of men and of women. There is no Mystery so great as Misery.”

Misery, as Wilde says, is mysterious as it is sometimes caused by external factors and sometimes by ourselves; we don’t know how long it will last and how bad we will be affected; we don’t know what we will gain and what we will lose. All we can do is cling on to hope as no dark sky rains forever.

The story also brings out the theme of class difference. It shows how the rich are busy making merry in their luxurious houses while the poor and the needy suffer for a morsel. The greediness of the Town Councillors shown in the story proves that nothing had changed in our society since then.

The story ends with the death of the Swallow and also of the Happy Prince who though a statue had his leaden heart broken into two. Though they both helped people, there was no one to bid them proper farewell. But they were given the best merit – the place in Paradise. We shouldn’t expect honor, fame and laurels in return for our good deeds. For we won’t be awarded by worldly standards but by Heavenly standards. Don’t wait for the Happy Prince to change the society but become that Happy Prince to promote goodness and welfare in the society.

All the quotes are taken from the short story “The Happy Prince” by Oscar Wilde.

TRANSHUMANISM: THE EVOLUTION OF HUMAN

What is Transhumanism?
The idea of altering or augmenting the ancient human body is ancient. Humans have evolved drastically. From nothing to the wisest creature on the planet.

Transhumanism is about taking augmenting or replacing biology with technology for eg to straight teeth with help of braces and lenses for poor sight.

The upcoming years will herald numbers of body augmentation capability that will enable humans to be smarter, stronger, and enhance them utterly. In the future, we can prospects arrival of contact lenses that can capture pictures and videos or a translator which is universal and will help you to communicate in any corner of the world. Implantation of chips or neural lace to mind. These body augmentation capabilities will give rise to humans that are more resilient, accurate, cognitive, and optimized.

However, this technology needed to achieve these goals relies on yet unrealised development in genetic engineering, nanotechnology, and another field of science and this is for sure going to take ample time to reach fruition.

Learn it all about Editing here.

When you write a book, you spend day after day scanning and identifying the trees. When you’re done you have to stay back and look at the forest.

STEPHEN KING, Author of ‘It’, ‘Misery’ and many other horror fiction novels.

For a writer, Editing is one of the most important elements in their article. It revises the article and makes it accurate. While writing, the author may not be able to focus on the grammar or correctly using the punctuation marks, which makes editing an almost inevitable activity for the writer. But how can editing be done properly? Let’s find the solution from the following questions.

Before we start the first question which arises is ‘What is Editing?’ Editing is a preparation of written material for publication by correcting, condensing, and modifying it. It follows the principle of 3 Cs i.e., Complete, Correct, and Consistent. It ensures that the work is complete, it does not contain any type of typographical errors or grammatical errors, and it also makes sure that the pace, narration, and the flow of the subject are consistent.

After understanding the meaning of editing, another question we find ourselves asking is, Why is Editing so much Important?’ Many times when we write, we are unable to detect grammatical mistakes. We continue writing with our flow without identifying the basic mistakes we are producing in our work. Here by ‘our work’ I do not point towards our daily journal, Instead, I’m talking about the work that is supposed to be read by a third person. No one is going to read our daily journal and thus we don’t have to be grammatically correct in it. But when we are writing for another pair of eyes then it becomes necessary for the writer to be precise with every letter he types/writes. It is also necessary that the work must be without errors because errors are those enemies of the writer who divert the attention of the reader, which may end up with the reader losing his interest to read further.

I am writing a first draft and reminding myself that I am simply shoveling sand into a box so that later I can build castles

SHANNON HALE, Author of ‘Princess Academy’, ‘The Goose Girl’, etc.

How can we start editing? There are two stages of editing. One, When the author edits his work himself. Two, When a second person edits the work. We may wonder that when the editing has been done by the author then why does it become necessary for the work to be edited by a second person? The answer to this question is many a time our eyes can’t detect errors in our work because of the flow our brain follows. Therefore it becomes really necessary for the work to be analyzed by a second person. For Editing, many authors even hire freelancers as a second person who can edit their work.

If your budget is low (like mine) and can’t hire a freelancer then here are some following tools and tricks I like to use before publishing my article:

  1. Keep on checking the punctuation marks and other basic grammars while writing the article.
  2. Make sure that there are no typographical errors.
  3. Checking the correctness and accuracy on Grammarly App.
  4. To find if the pace and narration in the article are consistent, I like to re-read my article at least 4 times.
  5. Sometimes the hard words may distract the reader and so I make sure to use an easily understood and exact word. For this, I sometimes take the help of OneLook Dictionary.
  6. After completing the above steps, I let my work settle for at least one day before publishing it.
  7. On the day of publishing, I read the article once again.
  8. After being fully assured of its correctness, I publish it.

This article which you are reading currently is written by me on 9 May 2021. Let’s see for how many days will it cool down before I publish it.

It was 10 a.m in Mumbai when Anjali rushed towards the fishermen’s bridge, Most fishermen have left the shore by this time making the place quiet and solitary. In haste, she lost track of her brown leather bag clinging to her right hand. Her eyes held more moisture than the sea, she couldn’t stop thinking about Nick.

‘How can he do this to me? How can he kill—’, she screamed to herself at the end of the bridge.

She couldn’t stop blaming herself for what her eyes had transpired a few moments ago. Her legs were not in her control as she kept walking from one end to the other of the bridge.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a voice, ‘Hello, Can you hear me?’ She turned back and saw an old man waving at her. He was having her bag in his hand. At that moment, the bag was aught to Anjali, her thoughts continued and she started running in the direction of the sea.

The old man was confused and tried to approach her. His doddering legs couldn’t match the motion of her. After running a few blocks his legs trembled and he fell on his knees. The crashing sound reached Anjali for her to look back. She had always been a person who liked to help others. She reached out to the old man and acknowledged his name to be Shantilal. He was a local fisherman who had come to the sea with his fishing hook to catch a fish. Anjali assisted him in getting back to his feet.

‘Are you ok kaka?’, she asked.

‘I am fine, beta but how are you? What’s wrong? Why are you crying?’, Shantilal inquired as he saw her moist eyes.

‘No, No, I am fine kaka—’ Her eyes could no longer hold her tears. Weeping she only muttered two names- Nick and Rajesh.

Shantilal sensed the distress and stayed back with her. He tried to calm her down and ask her whereabouts but her weeps only got vulnerable with every question. He feared the worst that might occur if he left her but he also had no idea of how to console her and decided to summon his wife. He stepped a few steps away from the weeping woman and dialled his landline number from his Nokia 3310 to describe the situation to his wife, Meenakshi.

Meenakshi reached the spot in a rickshaw and paid the amount shown on the meter. She saw Shantilal and walked towards him.

‘Kai Zala? (What happened?)’, She asked Shantilal. Shantilal pointed towards Anjali. She recognized her as the daughter-in-law of Sharma’s where she used to work as a maid. She rushed towards her and hugged her to calm her down. Seeing a familiar face Anjali’s emotion had no control but to flow out. After getting Anjali back to her senses, Meenakshi asked, ‘What’s the matter bibiji, why are you crying? Rajesh baba did something? Sharma Aunty said something to you? Tell me please….’

‘Sab khatam ho Gaya maushi— (Everything is over, Aunty)’, Anjali continued after catching her breath ‘Rajesh destroyed it all’ Meenakshi started assuming the extra-marital affair Rajesh might be having which was breaking Anjali.

There was a sound of a ship sailing which got the attention of Anjali who was calm now. After looking at it for some time, Anjali asked Meenakshi to get her bag. Meenakshi asked for the bag from Shantilal who was standing there trying to understand the situation. Shantilal took the bag and handed it over to Meenakshi.

Anjali opened the bag and took out a picture of herself with a man, ‘I loved him so much, I don’t know how will I survive in this world without him.’ Meenakshi and Shantilal were shocked. Meenakshi found herself thinking if her Rajesh Baba has left them all and felt a moment of guilt for assuming him having an affair. Less did they know a larger shock awaited them.

Consoling Anjali for her loss Meenakshi said, ‘I’m so sorry to hear about this. God is examining you. Just have faith everything will be fine.’ Saying this Meenakshi took the photograph from Anjali’s hand and hugged her again. Meenakshi always admired how good Anjali and Rajesh looked together and glanced at the picture only to find out it wasn’t Rajesh in the picture. It was Nick, Anjali’s colleague.

Autonomous Vehicles Are Coming

At the point when the main adumbrations of another technology show up, smart individuals attempt to perceive the probable future ramifications. Today, a great deal of smart individuals are agonizing over the effect of autonomous vehicles (AVs). Occupations will be lost. Individuals will feel burglarized by the office. What are the moral ramifications of programming settling on critical choices?

While such significant inquiries do merit some idea, they are indeed totally insignificant to the selection of AVs.

We people are developed to look for the easy way out on the grounds that for 98% of our developmental history that was the technique that would in all likelihood help endurance. Using abundance energy on a superfluous undertaking consumed calories that could be required for snapshots of exigency. So we are adjusted to do as little as could be expected, both truly and intellectually. This is the reason today, encircled by an overabundance of calories and a plenty of excitement, the greater part of us are fat and lethargic and our heads are loaded up with fleeting random data. Moreover, we have an implicit predisposition to continue to do whatever is recognizable in light of the fact that that is by and large the most effortless activity.

So how are individuals going to be convinced to embrace AVs?

The Dunning-Kruger impact implies that 99% of drivers massively over-gauge their skill, envisioning themselves to be “better than normal” drivers, even as they update their InstaSnap accounts on their cell phones while endeavoring to cross three paths of suburbanite traffic through one wrist flaccidly hung across the highest point of the guiding wheel. AVs would burglarize the normal individual of their feeling of organization. AV advertising people stress over this a ton.

It is, be that as it may, not an issue. Rather than endeavoring to address the deficiency of organization, sharp AV advertisers will just dodge the issue completely. We have the case of Orwell Boxes to show this marvel. Today, a large number of individuals have energetically gone through their own cash to put outsider observation gadgets into their own homes. Why? Since these were intended to engage human instinct. They are charming, they gleam in beautiful shadings, and they copy human responsiveness. Nobody who gets one of these gadgets thinks briefly about the way that in a real sense anybody with a couple of dollars and some extra time can utilize them to catch each discussion inside range, record those discussions, and store them away for sometime later.

Individuals download handfuls — or even hundreds — of applications to their telephones, not even once thinking about that a considerable lot of these applications adequately track each and every thing the client does: each call, each message sent, each Google search, each course given by the GPS framework. For the most part this information is utilized to present advertisements yet the truth of the matter is that anybody able to put in a couple of dollars can in this path develop an extremely exhaustive image of someone else’s life — without the objective monitoring it in any capacity (and no, your iPhone doesn’t secure you, regardless of what the showcasing messages guarantee). In the following not many years we are sure to find out about pedophiles utilizing this effectively accessible information to track and target weak young people. Be that as it may, and still, at the end of the day, nobody will quit utilizing their telephones and nobody will quit downloading many applications. Individuals will only disturb, for a brief timeframe, for “better security” while guaranteeing by their own behavior that such requests are useless.

For what reason do individuals burn through cash on things that can hurt them? Since it’s elegant. Individuals were educated to smoke cigarettes by the motion pictures and today the Internet is considerably more impressive at instructing individuals. On the off chance that an influencer circulates around the web with a tattoo video, millions surge out to cover themselves in ink. On the off chance that somebody says “board” or “ice pail challenge” millions respectfully go with the same pattern. Individuals are designed to follow the crowd, to do what others are doing, and give the matter no idea at all. The best promoting ploys guarantee whatever they’re attempting to sell appears to be both popular and fun!

Creators of AVs would do well to zero in on this basic condition.

Rather than attempting to sell advantages like improved wellbeing, diminished contamination, and the remainder of the things nobody really thinks often about, AV makers need to zero in on the shallow parts of their items. Structure a showcasing organization with Disney for AVs that take kids to class. What seven-year-old wouldn’t very much want to be shipped to class in a Frozen-portable or an AV dependent on whatever new fleetingly well known character is flavor of the day? What youngster wouldn’t very much want to show up in a science fiction vehicle, particularly if the time twixt home and school can be filled by playing some fierce and appropriately misanthropic computer game?

Concerning grown-ups, envision AVs with screens all over and encompass sound. For some the monotony of the regular drive can be changed into a satisfying visit spent among the pushes and groans of Internet erotic entertainment; for others an excited grouping of online media posts will empower the minutes to pass unregarded. On the off chance that an arrangement with Starbucks can be masterminded so drinks and edibles can be given inside the AV during the excursion, AVs will immediately get fundamental in individuals’ lives.

Given enough influencers, motion pictures, and TV shows siphon out the correct messages, individuals will race to accept AVs. Stresses over AI morals and loss of organization will disappear as individuals prattle joyfully to one another about the wondrous advantages AVs present. Maybe some will accompany tremendous vanity reflects so that individuals can take care of their appearance as the vehicle conveys them to their objective. Others will presumably enlist AVs containing rich beds that give freedoms to discrete contacts both arranged and off the cuff. Without a doubt some venturesome content author will evoke Sex and the AV, consequently promising millions to encounter the delights of “your best ride ever!”

Every one of these applications accept on-request administration, so the Japanese model of public latrines should be concentrated cautiously. No client will need to move into an AV to discover a pool of regurgitation in the footwell or organic liquids adhering to the seat covers. However, this is an issue manageable to arrangement by suitable technology thus will, besides in a couple of outrageous cases, be unproblematic.

For individual AVs where proprietorship is held similarly as the family vehicle of today, the stunt will be to recollect that (in the USA at any rate) the car is less a method of transportation and more a method of wish-satisfaction. Paunchy moderately aged men try to sport vehicles in a vain endeavor to convince the universe of their secret virility. Hesitant soccer mothers love to imagine SUVs for the figment of confidence they cultivate. By and by claiming AVs will in this way possibly be fruitful on the off chance that they can in like manner center around inducing alluring hallucination. Luckily there are various sorts of deception, going from the exemplary “save the planet by purchasing our hunk of metal” (Toyota Prius) to the “be cool by purchasing our most recent toy!” (Tesla, following the case of Apple). So the field is totally open and can undoubtedly be loaded up with a wide scope of various vehicles, each interesting to a specific specialty.

Sometimes, promoting divisions will get a handle on the essentials and thus the streets of the created countries will progressively be populated by AVs. We people, notwithstanding, will stay unaltered thus a periodic blip will definitely happen. The broad communications will keep on depending on sentimentalist jabber to produce incomes, so the exceptionally uncommon AV-related passing will be advertised messed up and nobody at all will recall that consistently almost 1,500,000 individuals used to bite the dust in street car crashes emerging from conventional human ineptitude. An alarm story will guarantee individuals will briefly be terrified out of utilizing a specific brand of AV, or maybe a specific tone, however everybody will before long neglect and resume utilizing that brand on the grounds that the media will at that point push some new panic story because of the reality there’s just such an excess of mileage that can be made out of accidents, similarly as there’s just such an excess of mileage that can be made out of superstar tattle or political follies.

If we’re engaged and given we don’t need to put forth any attempt, we will receive all way of toys and shape our shallow conduct in a manner. Inasmuch as AVs are advertised to speak to our inward youngsters and are intended to oblige steadily expanding traveler circumference, their appropriation is guaranteed.

What is HTTP/3?

 History on HTTP

The primary rendition of HTTP delivered was HTTP/0.9. Tim Berners-Lee made it in 1989, and it was named HTTP/0.9 in 1991. HTTP/0.9 was restricted and could just do fundamental things. It couldn’t return something besides a website page and didn’t uphold treats and other current highlights. In 1996, HTTP/1.0 was delivered, bringing new highlights like POST solicitations and the capacity to send some different options from a website page. Be that as it may, it was as yet far from what it is today. HTTP/1.1 was delivered in 1997 and was reconsidered twice, once in 1999 and once in 2007. It brought many major new highlights like treats and associations that continued. At last, in 2015, HTTP/2 was delivered and took into account expanded execution, making things like Server Sent Events and the capacity to send various demands all at once. HTTP/2 is still new and is just utilized by somewhat not exactly 50% of all sites.

HTTP/3: The newest version of HTTP

HTTP/3, or HTTP over QUIC, changes HTTP a ton. HTTP is generally done over TCP, Transmission Control Protocol. TCP was created in 1974, toward the start of the web. At the point when TCP was first made, the creators of it couldn’t anticipate the web’s development. As a result of how TCP is obsolete, TCP restricted HTTP for some time with both speed and security. Presently, in view of HTTP/3, HTTP isn’t restricted any longer. Rather than TCP, HTTP/3 uses another protocol, created in 2012 by Google, called QUIC (articulated “speedy”). This acquaints numerous new highlights with HTTP.

Features

Prior to HTTP/2, programs could just send each solicitation to the worker in turn. This made site stacking fundamentally more slow on the grounds that the program just stacked one resource, as CSS or JavaScript, at a time. HTTP/2 acquainted the capacity with load more than each resource in turn, yet TCP was not made for this. In the event that one of the solicitations fizzled, TCP would cause the program to re-try every one of the solicitations. Since TCP was eliminated in HTTP/3 and supplanted by QUIC, HTTP/3 tackled this issue. With HTTP/3, the program just necessities to re-try the bombed demand. Along these lines, HTTP/3 is quicker and more dependable.

Faster Encryption

HTTP/3 enhances the “handshake” that permits programs HTTP solicitations to be scrambled. QUIC consolidates the underlying association with a TLS handshake, making it secure as a matter of course and quicker.

Implementation

Standardization

At the hour of this composition, HTTP/3 and QUIC are not normalized. There is an IETF Working Group that is presently dealing with a draft to normalize QUIC. The adaptation of QUIC for HTTP/3 is somewhat changed, utilizing TLS rather than Google’s encryption, yet it enjoys similar benefits.

Browser Support

Presently, Chrome upholds HTTP/3 of course because of Google making the QUIC convention and the proposition for HTTP over QUIC. Firefox additionally upholds the convention in forms 88+ without a flag. Safari 14 backings HTTP/3, however just if an exploratory component flag is empowered.

Serverless/CDN Support

Up until this point, just a few workers support HTTP/3, however their offer is developing. Cloudflare was one of the main organizations other than Google to help HTTP/3, so their serverless capacities and CDN are HTTP/3 consistent. Furthermore, Google Cloud and Fastly are HTTP/3 agreeable. Shockingly, Microsoft Azure CDN and AWS CloudFront don’t appear to help HTTP/3 right now. In the event that you need to evaluate HTTP/3, QUIC.Cloud is an intriguing (albeit exploratory) approach to set up a reserving HTTP/3 CDN before your worker. Cloudflare, Fastly, and Google Cloud likewise have great HTTP/3 help and are more creation prepared.

UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites- Madhya Pradesh

Khajuraho was the principal seat of authority of the Chandella rulers who adorned it with numerous tanks, scores of lofty temples of sculptural grace and architectural splendour. Temples of Khajuraho are world famous for their architectural art. Most Khajuraho temples were built between 885 AD and 1050 AD by the Chandela dynasty. Historical records note that the Khajuraho temple site had 85 temples by the 12th century, spread over 20 square kilometers. Of these, only about 25 temples have survived, spread over six square kilometers. Of the surviving temples, the Kandariya Mahadeva Temple is decorated with a profusion of sculptures with intricate details, symbolism and expressiveness of ancient Indian art.

The Khajuraho temples are made of sandstone, with a granite foundation that is almost concealed from view. The builders didn’t use mortar: the stones were put together with mortise and tenon joints and they were held in place by gravity. This form of construction requires very precise joints. The columns and architraves were built with megaliths that weighed up to 20 tons. The Khajuraho and Kalinjar region is home to superior quality of sandstone, which can be carved precisely. The surviving sculpture reflect fine details such as strands of hair, manicured nails, and intricate jewelry. These temples are exiqusite example of medieval India’s architecture.

Sanchi Stupa

Sketch by Mahima Jain

Sanchi is located in west-central Madhya Pradesh state, near the city of Bhopal. The town of Sanchi is synonymous with Buddhist Stupas – hemispherical structures typically containing relics of the Buddha or his followers. The Stupas of Sanchi were constructed on the orders of Emperor Ashoka to preserve and spread the Buddhist philosophy. Sanchi has been protecting these beautiful and sacred architectural wonders, just the way these wonders have been safeguarding ancient history and art of the Mauryan period.

The numerous stupas, temples, monasteries and an Ashokan pillar have been the focus of interest and awe for global audiences as well.

The Rock Shelters of Bhimbetka

Bhimbedkar Caves

Bhimbetka rock shelters, series of natural rock shelters in the foothills of the Vindhya Range, central India. They are situated some 28 miles (45 km) south of Bhopal, in west-central Madhya Pradesh.

The Bhimbetka rock shelters are an archaeological site in central India that spans the prehistoric Paleolithic and Mesolithic periods, as well as the historic period. It exhibits the earliest traces of human life in India and evidence of Stone Age starting at the site in Acheulian times. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that consists of seven hills and over 750 rock shelters distributed over 10 km (6.2 mi). At least some of the shelters were inhabited more than 100,000 years ago. The rock shelters and caves provide evidence of, according to Encyclopædia Britannica, a “rare glimpse” into human settlement and cultural evolution from hunter-gatherers, to agriculture, and expressions of prehistoric spirituality.

Some of the Bhimbetka rock shelters feature prehistoric cave paintings and the earliest are about 10,000 years old (c. 8,000 BCE), corresponding to the Indian Mesolithic. These cave paintings show themes such as animals, early evidence of dance and hunting. The Bhimbetka site has the oldest-known rock art in India, as well as is one of the largest prehistoric complexes.

Alternative fuel vehicle

Alternative Fuel Vehicle refers to a vehicle that runs on a fuel other than traditional gasoline or diesel; any method of powering an engine that does not involve petroleum.

Due to a combination of heavy taxes on fuel, particularly in Europe, tightening environmental laws, particularly in California, and the possibility of further restrictions on greenhouse gas emissions, work on alternative power systems for vehicles has become a high priority for governments and vehicle manufacturers around the world.

Current research and development is largely centered on “hybrid” vehicles that use both electric power and internal combustion.

Other R&D efforts in alternative forms of power focus on developing fuel cells, alternative forms of combustion such as GDI and HCCI, and even the stored energy of compressed air.

The use of alcohol as a fuel for internal combustion engines, either alone or in combination with other fuels, has been given much attention mostly because of its possible environmental and long-term economical advantages over fossil fuel.

Both ethanol and methanol have been considered for this purpose.

While both can be obtained from petroleum or natural gas, ethanol may be the most interesting because many believe it to be a renewable resource, easily obtained from sugar or starch in crops and other agricultural produce such as grain, sugarcane or even lactose.

Since ethanol occurs in nature whenever yeast happens to find a sugar solution such as overripe fruit, most organisms have evolved some tolerance to ethanol, whereas methanol is toxic.

Other experiments involve butanol, which can also be produced by fermentation of plants.

A hybrid vehicle uses multiple propulsion systems to provide motive power.

This most commonly refers to gasoline-electric hybrid vehicles, which use gasoline (petrol) and electric batteries for the energy used to power internal-combustion engines and electric motors.

These powerplants are usually relatively small and would be considered “underpowered” by themselves, but they can provide a normal driving experience when used in combination during acceleration and other maneuvers that require greater power.

A hydrogen car is an automobile which uses hydrogen as its primary source of power for locomotion.

These cars generally use the hydrogen in one of two methods: combustion or fuel-cell conversion.

In combustion, the hydrogen is “burned” in engines in fundamentally the same method as traditional gasoline cars.

In fuel-cell conversion, the hydrogen is turned into electricity through fuel cells which then powers electric motors.

With either method, the only byproduct from the spent hydrogen is water.

A small number of prototype hydrogen cars currently exist, and a significant amount of research is underway to make the technology more viable.

A solar car is an electric vehicle powered by solar energy obtained from solar panels on the car.

Solar cars are not a practical form of transportation; insufficient power falls on the roof of a practically sized and shaped vehicle to provide adequate performance.

TOO MUCH SALT

Eating too much salt could mess with your immune cells.

High salt diets have been linked to many different problems in the body.

A tipped-over salt shaker with spilled salt.

Eating too much salt may reduce the amount of energy that immune system cells can make, preventing them from working normally, according to a new study.

Eating an excess of sodium has previously been linked to many different problems in the body, including high blood pressure and higher risk of stroke, heart failure, osteoporosis, stomach cancer and kidney disease, Live Science previously reported.

“Of course the first thing you think of is the cardiovascular risk,” co-author Markus Kleinewietfeld, an associate professor at Hasselt University in Belgium, said in a statement. “But multiple studies have shown that salt can affect immune cells in a variety of ways.” If salt disrupts immune functioning for a long period of time, it could potentially drive inflammatory or autoimmune diseases in the body, he added.

A few years ago, a group of researchers in Germany discovered that high salt concentrations in the blood can directly impact the functioning of a group of immune system cells known as monocytes, which are the precursors of Pac Man-like cells called phagocytes that identify and devour pathogens and infected or dead cells in the body.

In the new study, Kleinewietfeld and his colleagues conducted a series of experiments to figure out how. First, they zoomed in on that link in the lab using mouse and human monocytes. They found that within three hours of exposure to high salt concentrations, the immune cells produced less energy, or adenosine triphosophate.

Mitochondria, the cells’ power plants, produce ATP from energy found in  food using a series of biochemical reactions, according to the statement. ATP then fuels many different cellular processes, such as powering muscles or regulating metabolism, according to the statement.

Specifically, the researchers discovered that high salt concentrations inhibit a group of enzymes known as complex II in the chain reaction that produces ATP, which leads the mitochondria to produce less ATP. With less ATP (less energy), the monocytes matured into abnormal-looking phagocytes.

The researchers found that these unusual phagocytes were more effective at fighting off infections. Still, that’s not necessarily a good thing, the researchers say, as an increased immune response can lead to more inflammation in the body, which in turn, can increase the risk of heart disease.

The researchers then conducted multiple experiments in people; in one, healthy male participants took daily salt supplement tablets of 6,000 milligrams — nearly three times the recommended amount — for two weeks. In another experiment, a group of participants ate a whole pizza from an Italian restaurant.

They found that after eating the pizza, which contained 10,000 mg of salt, participants’ mitochondria produced less energy. But this effect wasn’t long-lasting; eight hours after the participants ate the pizza, blood tests showed that their mitochondria were functioning normally again.

“That’s a good thing,” Dominik Müller, a professor at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in the Helmholtz Association and the Experimental and Clinical Research Center in Berlin, said in the statement. “If it had been a prolonged disturbance, we’d be worried about the cells not getting enough energy for a long time.”

Still, it’s not clear whether mitochondria are affected in the long-term if a person consistently eats a high-salt diet, according to the statement. The researchers hope to understand whether salt can impact other cells, because mitochondria exist in almost every cell in the body, according to the statement.

The Knight who gave up his Knighthood for India…!

The disproportionate severity of the punishments inflicted upon the unfortunate people and the methods of carrying them out, we are convinced, are without parallel in the history of civilised governments…The time has come when badges of honour make our shame glaring in their incongruous context of humiliation, and I for my part wish to stand, shorn of all special distinctions, by the side of my country men.

From a Letter written to Viceroy, Lord Chlemsford; RABINDRANATH TAGORE.

The writer of our National Anthem, Jana Gana Mana is also the Knight who once renounced his Knighthood for India. Rabindranath Tagore was the first Indian as well the first lyricist to receive the Nobel prize in Literature. He played a significant role in building up the base of Literature in India. His 161th Birth anniversary was celebrated on 7 May 2021.

Today when India is facing a pandemic and every political leader is trying to maintain their supreme image, Rabindranath Tagore is being remembered for how he renounced his Knighthood against the wrongs done to fellow Indians. After the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre in 1919, every Indian leader was shocked and the whole nation was mourning the act done by the British Officer, General Dyre. At that time of mourning every great leader of India condemned the atrocities. And in response to the Massacre, Rabindranath Tagore renounced his Knighthood.

Tagore always opposed the idea of Imperialism. He supported the Indian Nationalists and criticized the presence of British administration as ‘political symptom of our social disease’. He also wanted the youth of the nation to develop and thus established ‘Santiniketan’ in 1901. He wrote the songs like ‘Chitto Jetha Bhayshunyo’ (Where the Mind is Without Fear) and ‘Ekla Chalo Re’ (If They Answer Not to Thy Call, Walk Alone) presenting the tensity of the Indian Independence movement to the British Administration.

Rabindranath Tagore is very well known for his poetry collection, ‘Gitanjali‘ (was awarded the Nobel prize in literature in 1913), his poems like ‘Manasi’, ‘Sonar Tori’ (Golden Boat), ‘Balaka’ (Wild Geese). He has also written many songs like our National Anthem, ‘Jana Gana Mana’ which is first of the five stanzas of the Brahmo hymn ‘Bharot Bhagyo Bidhata’ that Tagore composed. The song which was written to criticize the partition of Bengal in 1905 was later adopted as the National Anthem by Bangladesh. Sri Lanka’s National Anthem is also inspired by Tagore’s work.

Every leader must learn from Rabindranath Tagore that it is not the prestige and the awards that matter but our brothers and sisters of the Nation. Amidst this pandemic, the leaders must pay heed towards the people of the nation and not on creating or announcing different propagandas.

Here are a few lines from the famous song written by Rabindranath Tagore to keep you motivated through the day:

Jodi shobai phire jae, ore ore o obhaga, shobai phire jai [If everyone walks away, O unlucky one, everyone walks away]
Jodi gohon pothe jabar kale keu phire na chae, jodi gohon pothe jabar kale keu phire naa chaai—
Tobe pother kata
[If no-one looks back towards the (your) unpredictable path, then with thorn pricked (of the path) bloodied feet]
O tui roktomakha chorontole ekla dolo re [walk alone
If no-one heeds your call – then walk alone]

Jodi tor dak shune keu na ashe tobe ekla cholo re [If there is no-one responding to your call – then go on all alone]

Tears

Don’t shed tears
When you are in fear
Don’t shed tears
When you are not clear
Don’t shed tears
When you lovedone is a liar
Don’t shed tears
When death comes near
Don’t shed tears
When false is on fire
Do shed tears
When you reach higher

Procrastination: “I”LL DO IT LATER”

Procrastination is delaying work for no reason. We all procrastinate. Every time we decide to complete some task but hit the snooze button and find an excuse for not finishing the task. But postponing your work to the next day or not finishing it on due is not gonna affect anyone other than you.

Delaying work

Because you are the one who is accountable for your life. We try to escape work. You know what has to be done but you don’t do it. Instead, you were your times on crappy things which aren’t important at that moment.

How to Beat Procrastination?
Make yourself mentally tough so you don’t rely on your thoughts and let them control you. Read books that have lessons on mindfulness.

Keep yourself physically fit. You don’t go on a war unprepared right?
So to beat procrastination we have to be physically fit and energetic for any upcoming tasks.

Schedule your day. Prioritize your work and align according to that. Do not waste unnecessary time on social media.

Whatever it is, Work on it, Stop Delaying it anymore.

A मातृ प्रधान देश is Celebrating Mother’s Day!!

Primarily India is a मातृ प्रधान Country, where Sita called before Ram “SitaRam”, Radhe called before Shyam “RadheShyam” , Lakshmi called before Narayan “LakshmiNarayan” because Women enjoy the Most Respectful status in the Hindu Religion.

Inspite of having this status respect, Do we need to celebrate Mother’s day in a country like India?

Any day is celebrated in memory of some happenings, whether good or bad, and also which is not going to happen no. of times in that time span or normally in a year.

In the country like India each and every women is respectful(whether she is a mother/Sister) each and every day of a year or we can say each and every moment, not for a single/special day.

I really feel very ridiculous when someone puts a whatsapp status/Instagram posts/facebook/twitter for mother’s day to show their gratitude. I found many times that they even don’t talk to his/her mother respectfully, Even sometime they don’t have time to ask to his/her mother how are you? but they never miss to update their social media profile.

In my Opinion, plz stop these stupid things to follow, and also stop copying blindlessly anything, first know the reason and facts about that.

Love your Maa unconditionally each and every moment, don’t wait for a specific day. Don’t forget you are here because of your Maa. Maa is everything in this Universe.

Thanks.

What is Ethereum Blockchain

Blockchain

Blockchain is the most renowned technology, many misjudge blockchain, individuals accept that Bitcoin and Ethereum have seme highlights and qualities, blockchain is the assortment of different frameworks for instance agreement algorithms, responsibility verification instruments, advanced marks, unknown exchange components, twofold spending, since the introduction of blockchain technology individuals befuddle over contrasting blockchain and the well known cryptocurrency Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is only a straightforward cryptocurrency that enemies of inflationary needs include in regard to monetary resources, our monetary field requires numerous sorts of sub-models that bring more worth-added administrations in installment, credit, money dissemination, and different parts of the monetary world.

Blockchain technology contains the qualities of decentralization, non-altering, discernibility, and takes care of the trust issue, customarily trust among individuals and establishments relies upon definitive control actually like an incorporated bank or different organizations, yet to produce trust among individuals for a monetary framework take such a lot of time and cash and conversely with blockchain technology which quickly substantiates itself as another confided in framework just as advance innovative system

Bitcoin is appropriate for encoded advanced money situations and deals with an enormous issue in effectiveness related issues and wastage of costly registering assets brought about by the PoW component, monetary world requirements a framework that equipped for productive agreement instruments and backing for numerous application situations like savvy contracts, in this manner Etehreum was conceived.

Ethereum Blockchain

Ethereum isn’t just an all inclusive worldwide blockchain yet additionally the total stage for monetary turn of events, Its programming language strength, and money Ether, both help to construct and distribute the appropriated application known as shrewd agreements, DApp, and the NFT.

Ethereum has a solid blockchain module structure like blockchain record, agreement instrument, center hubs, P2P organization, programmable rationale, and brilliant agreements, Ethereum virtual machine did the execution of the keen agreements all around on the Ethereum blockchain.

Using smart contract, an engineer can put complex monetary rationale in the Ethereum organization, designers can fabricate framework for non-business purposes, crowdfunding frameworks, advanced monetary standards, monetary rent resource the board, multi-signature secure records framework, and store network following just as checking framework, savvy contract empower the engineer to affixed the customary framework joins the solid administration capacities that generally difficult to accomplish, conceal the intricacy of the organization and spotlight on additional toward application and business rationale.

The brilliant agreement runs on EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) which is fundamentally the sandbox of the Entereum organization, the keen agreement stores on the EVM sandbox and assemble through the bytecode of EVM, it likewise conceivable that engineer can make a savvy contract on different dialects like C and incorporate with the EVM.

At first, when Ethereum dispatched, to forestall incidental or deliberate boundless circles and misuse of organization assets the organization put the cutoff to every exchange on the organization, the quantity of determined advances should pay the expense of the exchange, the Gas charge is controlled by the quantity of computation performed by the organization and this sum is charged over the use of organization assets for instance in the event that one requirements the execution of SHA3 hash calculation, the Gas charge will be charged against this execution is 20 and some other typical exchange of cash is identical to 21,000 Gas charge, the littlest unit of the Gas expense is Wei which is augmented more than 1000.

The applications run on Ethereum are run on a stage explicit cryptographic token, ether. During 2014, Ethereum had dispatched a pre-deal for ether which had gotten a mind-boggling reaction. Ether resembles a vehicle for moving around on the Ethereum stage and is for the most part looked for by engineers hoping to create and run applications inside Ethereum. Ether is utilized comprehensively for two purposes: it is exchanged as an advanced cash trade like other digital currencies, and it is utilized inside Ethereum to run applications and even to adapt work.

As indicated by Ethereum, it tends to be utilized to “arrange, decentralize, secure, and exchange pretty much anything.” One of the huge tasks around Ethereum is Microsoft’s association with ConsenSys which offers “Ethereum Blockchain as a Service (EBaaS) on Microsoft Azure so Enterprise customers and designers can have a solitary snap cloud-based blockchain engineer climate

What is Stuxnet?

It’s been over 10 years since security researchers in Belarus previously recognized an infection that would come to be known as Stuxnet, a refined cyber weapon utilized in a multi-crusade assault focusing on a uranium improvement office in Natanz, Iran. Presently, new foundation assaults in the unpredictable area are reestablishing the conversation about Stuxnet, its beginnings, its techniques, and its commitments to the current abstract of ICS defenses.

What did Stuxnet do?

First released in 2009, the Stuxnet infection had different parts including a forceful malware tuned to discover and ruin measures run by Siemens STEP7-based PLCs. Its goal was to subtly control the speed of the delicate improvement rotators — causing wearing down instead of obtrusive physical annihilation. The Stuxnet worm was supposedly infected in excess of 200,000 machines in 14 Iranian offices and may have destroyed up to 10% of the 9,000 rotators in Natanz.

A second Stuxnet variation delivered a while after the primary contained different Windows zero-day weaknesses, utilized taken authentications, and misused known reproduction usefulness in the Siemens PLCs. The more forceful Stuxnet variety discovered its way into non-Iranian conditions, be that as it may, fortunately, didn’t bring about much harm.

From a chronicled viewpoint, the Stuxnet worm flagged that exceptional, country state-supported entertainers had progressed capacities that would make way for more genuine cyber-physical attacks like those in Ukraine, Estonia, and Saudi Arabia.

In reality, progressed country state attacks are uncommon contrasted with normal, astute interruptions brought about by things like ransomware. Yet, Stuxnet shows the significance of a very much designed climate complete with satisfactory ICS cybersecurity. Such a climate requires an intensive comprehension of resource stock and security act, Windows framework solidifying, network division and checking, segregated cycle observing, sufficient interaction instrumentation, inventory network and outsider danger the executives, appropriately prepared administrators, and good operational security (OPSEC).

How Stuxnet works: The air gap myth

Back in 2010, Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility, in the same way as other others previously and since, depended on the idea of non-associated and separated organizations as a type of digital protection. Advocates of this methodology — named an air gap since it suggests actual space between the association’s organized resources and the rest of the world — trust it gives adequate insurance to offices that don’t need Internet access or pervasive IT/undertaking administrations.

They’re off-base.

Depending on air gaps as a solitary type of safeguard remains however one in a rundown of deplorable false notions used to legitimize a lazy way to deal with ICS security. Others incorporate frequently exposed convictions like:

Attackers need adequate information and motivating force to target ICS and SCADA frameworks.

Network safety is significant generally for IT and endeavor frameworks.

Demonstrated security methodologies don’t matter to most operational innovation frameworks in light of the fact that the danger of interruption is too high in OT.

Occasions, for example, those at Natanz exhibit that once an ICS border, even an air-gapped one, is penetrated (signal Maginot line), attackers appreciate almost free rein inside such delicate conditions.

While very little is openly thought about how Stuxnet and its variations advanced into the offices at Natanz, it’s broadly estimated that the malware entered through tainted removable media, for example, a USB stick, by means of a PC utilized by a worker for hire, an external seller, or covered in a contaminated document like a degenerate .pdf adaptation of a specialized manual.

These surely knew assault vectors are a realized danger to practically any facility and, in themselves, are not excessively modern. Transient resources like professionals’ PCs, outsiders coming nearby, contaminated installers, and auto-play misuses on removable media are not really novel. The remarkable point in the Stuxnet case is that a decided entertainer figured out how to invade a purportedly secure facility, conveying malware that at last discovered its assigned objective.

How its spread

Stuxnet came in two waves. Less is thought about the main wave, which was to a greater extent a gradual process and less boisterous, making it more averse to be found. The subsequent wave was the one that stood out as truly newsworthy with its more expressive and emphatically less careful methodology.

This second Stuxnet variation probably didn’t spread from an underlying contamination on a helpless PLC or regulator, but instead accessed one item Windows framework using zero-day misuses. From that one tainted item Windows have, the malware moved along the side starting with one Windows box then onto the next across the unsegmented organization.

BITCOIN

Bitcoin often referred as Cryptocurrency, a virtual currency or a digital currency – is a type of money that is completely virtual. It is like an online money in cash form. You can use it to buy products (or) services, but many shops would not be aware of bitcoin and do not offer such facility. Some countries have banned the service of bitcoin. It is considered as an illegal money. Because this is not handled by the Government, it is only handled by the players.

In October last year, online payments service, Paypal announced their customers that they could buy and sell their products by using bitcoin facility. The physical photos you see in the photos are novelty. They would be worthless without the private code printed inside them.

Each bitcoin is basically a computer file which is stored in digital wallet app on a smart phone or computer. People can send bitcoin to your digital wallet, and you can also send the bitcoins to other people. Every single transaction is been recorded in a public transaction called block chain technology. The facilkity to operate bitcoin is that, there should be good internet facilities to operate.

Bitcoins are valuable because people are willing to exchange them for real gold and services and even cash. People can also spend their Bitcoins, fairly anonymously. Although all transactions are recorded, nobody would know which account number was yours unless you tell them.

Every transactions is recorded publicly so it is difficult to copy bitcoins and lose them forever. There have been thefts from websites that let you store your bitcoins remotely. Many market place called bitcoins exchange, which allows people to buy and sell bitcoins using different currencies. Coinbase is a leading exchange, along with Bitstamp and Bitfinex. No one knows what will become of bitcoin. It is mostly unregulated, but some countries like Japan, China and Australia have begun weighing regulations. Governments are concerned about taxation and their lack of control over the currency.

Balances of bitcoin tokens are kept using public and private “keys,” which are long strings of numbers and letters linked through the mathematical encrypt algorithm that was used to create them. The public key (comparable to a bank account number) serves as the address which is published to the world and to which others may send bitcoins.

The private key (comparable to an ATM PIN) is meant to be a guarded secret and only used to authorize bitcoin transmissions. Bitcoin keys should not be confused with a bitcoin wallet, which is a physical or digital device that facilitates the trading of bitcoin and allows users to track ownership of coins. The term “wallet” is a bit misleading, as bitcoin’s decentralized nature means that it is never stored “in” a wallet, but rather decentrally on a blockchain.

Bitcoin is one of the first digital currencies to use p2p technology to facilitate instant payments. The independent individuals and companies who own the governing computing power and participate in the bitcoin network—bitcoin “miners”—are in charge of processing the transactions on the blockchain and are motivated by rewards (the release of new bitcoin) and transaction fees paid in bitcoin.

“Few things left unsaid

Simple because I knew that

You will understand and that would have ruined many beautiful stories”

– Sabina Yesmin

Sometimes someone leave us without any prior information and that time we get to know their importance in our life. It happens when we take things for granted because yes, we assume that person will never leave us but when they leave, we suddenly realize their importance. Isn’t it so selfish to take people for granted?

I’m not only talking about myself but also emoting your feelings too. It happens to me too that few things left unsaid, those people who plays a significant role in our life leave us for no reason even after not taking them for granted. You can better understand the situation when these things happen. Some people who are not able to overcome from it, will automatically get depressed and live their life with their memories because they are unable to accept the truth.

I can understand the situation when a person ignore you in Present days who have already said that you were important for them in past. It really hurts to see hatered feeling on their face who used to care us a lot.
But we should overcome from it and it’s not much hard, just try to focus on your self-respect that’s all.

Love Doesn’t Need Any Special Day

It’s Mother’s day right? Have you wished your mother? Is it just for one day or everyday?

I simply don’t believe on these days because for me my mother deserves this love and respect each single day. It’s not like, that I never shouted at her. Yes I have done it but I too made her understand that it was just a reaction what I did.
I don’t like to put status of her and wish – ‘Happy Mother’s Day, I really love you’ etc. There is a simple reason of it, my mother doesn’t use smart phone and I feel those who puts status almost 50% of their mother’s doesn’t even know about it because same reason smart phone and I feel those who put status almost 50% of their mother’s doesn’t even know about it because same reason smart phone. They just try to show off for sure because love doesn’t need any special day.

Yes, it’s Shruti who fought with her husband Rishab and came to Aman and wanted to spend rest of life with him. But a magic happened at that time when Aman couldn’t even able to hug her because he was thinking about Anjali. He said to Shruti that she should go to her husband and try to solve the problem and he also said to her that “YOU ARE THE PERSON THAT I CANNOT HAVE”. The story ended with the marriage of Aman & Anjali and the reunion of Shruti & Rishab.

World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day!

World Red Cross Red Crescent Day is celebrated on 8 May each year. It is an annual celebration of the 7 principles of International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement; humanitarian, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity, and universality.

Around the world, the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement provide a wide range of services to the most vulnerable people in all situations, from responding to needs in disaster and conflict situations to assisting. They reach out to the community and advocate on behalf of those in need, those in urban areas, and difficult access areas.

This day is celebrated to mark their achievements and encourage people to help the ones in need. It is also celebrated to mark the birthday of the founder of International Committee of the Red Cross, Henry Dunant (8 May 1928). Henry Dunant was the first recipient of the Nobel Peace Price.

Let us know a little about how this day came into existence:

  • The idea for an “annual action that could take hold in the whole world … that would be a major contribution to peace” was introduced just after World War I.
  • This initiative, known as the “Red Cross Truce”, was studied by an International Commission established at the 14th International Conference of the Red Cross.
  • Its report, presented to the 15th International Conference of the Red Cross in Tokyo in 1934, was approved.
  • It was only after World War II, in 1946, that the Tokyo proposal was studied by the League of Red Cross Societies (LRCS), renamed the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in 1991.
  • Two years later, having considered the principles of the truce and its applicability across different regions of the world, the proposal of an annual International Red Cross Day was adopted and the first Red Cross Day was celebrated on May 8, 1948.
  • The official title of the day changed over time, and became “World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day” in 1984.

After that Every year 8 May Started to be celebrated as ‘World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day’. There were some themes and slogans introduced from 2009 onwards for the celebration. The Themes are mentioned below:

Are we getting right education?

Are we getting right education or we are just mugging up things for exams? Because as far as I see, we are just mugging up for exams. Do you really feel that it will be helpful for us in our future life? Do you really feel that you can keep you report card all the time with you where you got 9 CGPA?
I think the answer should be NO, because it’s just a matter of our critical thinking and knowledge for sure irrespective of the marks what we got in our exams.
Now a days I have seen a lot of kids does only learn the questions and answers section of the particular chapter, even I used to do the same when I was too young. Everyone talks only about exams and all but they never ask – do you really learn anything from this? Because each and every student including their parents wants their children to be a topper. Do you really feel is it possible for every children to be a topper?
I think NOT AT ALL. What I have learnt in my life is don’t do that thing if you don’t wanna do that. Don’t compare yourself to anyone. Try to understand the meaning of each single word you are reading, because of this habit you will forget to mug up and learn new things each single day.
Marks doesn’t matter, so don’t compare your talent to your marks because marks has given only on the basis of the answers you have answered, it’s really not a test of your whole talent.
But yes, it’s doesn’t mean that marks are not important. See we need marks for choosing any stream in 11th class then we need to get very good marks in our 12th boards as well for taking admission in the college after that if you wanna pursue Masters, you will need good marks in your graduation too.
It’s also true that average marks it not enough, for taking admission we need high marks. So yes marks are very very important, but focus on your critical thinking and learning process as well.

Writer’s Block

While writing have you ever felt lack of thoughts and ideas. You sit there thinking for hours and still don’t come up with anything. This phenomenon is called writer’s block.

Writer’s block is a condition when an author or a writer runs out of ideas to produce new work or experiences creativity slowdown. Most writers have experienced it at one point or another in their careers. And it doesn’t just happen to writers. Creatives from all walks of life—artists, musicians, poets, entrepreneurs—can suffer from it. Sometimes inspiration just doesn’t strike.

Photo by Ivan Samkov on Pexels.com

The reason why it’s so hard to get started and find continuous inspiration varies greatly from person to person. Some reasons for writer’s block are:-

  • Excessively harsh self-criticism
  • Fear of rejection
  • Fear of comparison to other writers
  • Lack of external motivation, like attention and praise
  • Lack of internal motivation, like the desire to tell one’s story
  • Pressure from a previous success

The best antidote for writer’s block is self-knowledge.When you find what’s stopping you from writing, you’ll find strategies to retaliate and, soon, return to writing. These strategies might help to overcome writer’s block :-

  • Write about the problem.
  • Go for a walk.
  • Listen to music.
  • Reward yourself for little things.
  • Rid yourself of distractions.
  • Look to the news.
  • Ask family and friends for help.

Overcoming writer’s block is a delicate process that is often highly subjective and depends on each individual. But, at the end of the day, it is about conquering self-doubt and knowing that hard work will pay off.

Only those who can see the Invisible
Can achieve the Impossible”

Dr. Ida Sophia Scudder was a third-generation American medical missionary who came to serve people in India. The first and second generation of the Scudder family served as medical missionaries in India and Ida as a young girl wanted to spend a lavish lifestyle in America. Her parents were working as medical missionaries in India and once Ida happened to visit India to meet her parents. That night there came a man knocking her door and he pleaded to operate his wife who is going to give birth. Ida said him that she is not a doctor but her father who is a doctor can help him. But the man refused saying that no men is allowed to operate his wife. She was shocked by his answer. Then came another man for the same reason and he refused saying the same. She felt very bad in her heart for the women of this nation. Then came the third man and refused because the doctor is a male. Later on Ida heard that the three women died. She felt so bad and she decided to finish her studies and come and serve the Indian women for the rest of her life. That was her life-changing experience and she dedicated the rest of her life for the plight of Indian women and the fight against bubonic plague, cholera and leprosy. She started a tiny medical dispensary for women at Vellore, Tamil Nadu. She knew that it is impractical to go on alone, so she opened The Mary Taber Schell Hospital in 1902. For the betterment of the South Indian women she decided to open a medical school for girls only. There were 151 applications on the first year in 1918. In 1928 ground was broken for the “Hillsite” medical school campus on 200 acres at Bagayam, Vellore. That year Mahatma Gandhi visited the medical school. She travelled to America numerous times to raise funds for the college and hospital, raising a total in the millions. In 1945 the college was opened or both men and women. In 2003, the Vellore Christian Medical Center was the largest Christian hospital in the world, with 2000 beds and its medical school is now one of the premier medical colleges in India. CMC Vellore has brought many significant achievements to India by starting the first nursing college in 1946 and by performing the first reconstructive surgery for leprosy in the world (1948). CMC Vellore performed the first successful open heart surgery in 1961, performing the first kidney transplant in India (1971), performing first bone marrow transplantation in 1986 and the first successful incompatible kidney transplant in India in 2009. Dr. Scudder won Elizabeth Blackwell Citation from the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary as one of 1952’s five outstanding women doctors. Dr. Ida Sofia Scudder died on May 23, 1960 aged 89 in her Hilltop bungalow in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu.

‘I too had a Love Story’

Book: I too had a Love Story

Author: Ravinder Singh

Publication: Penguin Metro Reads

Genre: Romantic Tragedy

Not everyone in this world has the fate to cherish the fullest form of love. Some are born just to experience the abbreviation of it.

‘I too had a Love Story’, Ravinder Singh.

When we think of Romantic Tragedy the stories that strike our minds are Laila and Majnu, Romeo and Juliet, Heer and Ranjha, etc. We admire their passion for love because they chose death over the separation. This book ‘I too had a Love Story’ is also a Romantic Tragedy but unlike those mentioned previously, it does not deal with the death of both the hero and the heroine instead tells us how difficult it becomes when a person in love is left alone.

The Novel consists of 9 chapters marking the different stages of the relationship between the hero, Ravinder, and the heroine, Khushi. ‘I too had a Love Story’ is an autobiography by Ravinder Singh. This book deals with his love life. But unlike the other love stories, this love story is very special to him. It is because of this book that he found his life partner; who met him after she read this novel and fell in love with him.

The Story starts with the reunion of four friends; Amardeep, Manpreet, Happy, and Ravinder. The reunion builds up the plot of Marriage. The story is then diverted to Ravinders’ when he creates a profile on a Matrimonial Site. On the matrimonial site, he meets the love of his life, Khushi. After talking for a while they find themselves madly in love with each other. This novel also tries to break the stereotype against Long Distance Relationships when Ravin had to move to Connecticut. Unlike the sayings, their relationship did not break because of the distance. They managed their relationship off the distance. This novel allows the reader to witness the courtship period between the engagement and the wedding to its fullest. The Author neatly builds up the plot where all the reader expects and excited is for the wedding to happen. But then the Author strikes his final chord when the heroine of the story, Khushi meets with an accident; It breaks the heart of the reader. The final chapters’ reading is equivalent to walking the fiery path. It hurts but you can’t stop until you finish.

The Author precisely plays with the emotions of a reader; The reader sheds tears along with the hero for his loss. It keeps the reader hooked to the love story from the starting till the end. Many readers have credited this book as the one you can’t put down. It is indeed a beautiful love story written by Ravinder Singh. Indian Express remarks about the author, ‘Singh has beautifully portrayed the various emotions of life and love’

If you are a beginner in this reading world and also enjoy Romance or Tragedy, then this book is totally made for you. You can purchase this book from here. Just go for it…!!!

Why is Music important to our Soul?

The sages loved their music. It gave them the same spiritual boost as the sun did. Music made them laugh, it made them dance and it made them sing. It will do the same for you. Never forget the power of music. Spend a little time with it every day, even if it is listening to a soft piece on a cassette while you drive to work. When you feel down or weary, play some music. It is one of the finest motivators I know of.

ROBIN SHARMA, Author of ‘The Monk who sold his Ferrari’

The above words are found in the Internationally famous book ‘The Monk who sold his Ferrari’. These words endow us with a message of how important it is to always remember the power of music and even on our busiest day we must not forget to listen to it.

Every person has their taste in music, some like Soft and Sufi songs while others may enjoy listening to Jazz and Trance. Whatever their taste may be the function of music in everybody’s life is the same; Relieve the person of his daily-life tensity. Music is one of the greatest forms of art derived from Nature. Let us know why is Music so much important in our day-to-day life.

MUSIC: A UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE:

We all have heard this at one or the other time in our life. But what does it exactly mean? Let’s understand this with a simple example. Some songs like Despacito or Bella Ciao, in that case, are not understood by everyone but every other person enjoys these songs without even being able to sing them correctly. These songs bring people together. Similarly, the language of music is universal. It doesn’t matter from which corner of the world a person belongs, you can communicate with them easily through the language of Music. This is the only language which even if not understood but is enjoyed by all.

MUSIC AS A CREATIVE FUEL TO THE MIND:

As a form of art, music brings out the creativity of a person. Listening to instrumental music challenges one to listen and tell a story about what one hears. In the same sense, playing a musical instrument gives you the ability to tell the story without words. Both require maximum right brain usage which not only exercises one’s creativity but also one’s intellect. This is also one of the reasons why people turn to music whenever they feel worn out or out of ideas to recollect their minds.

MUSIC HAS SPIRITUAL POWERS:

Many theories are suggesting the presence of Music dating back even before the existence of mankind. Music is believed to be derived from nature and one of the most common uses is found at religious and sacred events. Many civilizations mark their triumph at war and the cremation of influential figures with Music. Some people believe Music to be a key to God leading to the holy path, this also signifies the presence of prayers at religious places.

AN EMOTIONAL HEALER- MUSIC:

Many studies have shown the connection between the human mind and the type of music a person listens to. There are times in every person’s life when he turns to music for achieving an emotional balance. This is because music stimulates the release of happiness hormone in our brain. It reduces the stress of a person and makes the person dance to its beat. Thus Music is known as one of the best therapies for dealing with emotions. So next time when you feel low; put on the headphones-play a song-turn the volume up-exit from reality.

MUSIC BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER:

Let’s first see the following video:

As we saw in the video that every person enjoys himself on the tune of the music. This is the reason music is seen as the key ingredient to bring people together.

When Music is so much important then why are we still not ready with our headphones? Let’s Go and enjoy our day listening to our favorite music.

One plasma donor saves at least three lives

India is going through the second wave and suffering the loss of lakhs of lives. The country witnessed 4,12,000 cases in the last 24 hours which is the highest number of cases reported in a single day. The smiles from Indian faces is burning on funeral pyres. In such a drastic crisis, plasma and oxygen cylinders stand out to be two things which have not only become the life line of people but also has become the only ray of hope for people. India requires plasma, every day, the social media handles are flooded with millions of posts seeking for plasma. Let us try to find out why plasma holds such a significance in fighting the covid war.

Plasma is the liquid component of the blood which holds the white blood cells (WBCs), Red blood cells (RBCs). About 55% of the blood is plasma and remaining 45% are RBCs and WBCs. 92% of the constituent of plasma is water.

Now, the question arises, how does this plasma help a covid-19 infected individual? The answer to this question lies in the fact that whenever an individual gets an infection, the human body produces a response to it and produces anti bodies against the pathogen (corona virus). These anti bodies remain dispersed in the plasma of the individual and can be used to introduce anti bodies in another body to produce an immune response. Any individual who had been infected by covid 19 and has recovered can donate plasma given that the infection was moderate. Asymptomatic individuals cannot donate plasma. The age group which is legible is in between 18 to 65 years having a body weight more than 50kg and no other disease like diabetes, hypertension etc.

Donating plasma is an absolutely safe process. The donor doesn’t feel any kind of side effects or weakness at all. The donor just needs to take a 15 minutes rest post donation following which he/she can return to daily activities and routine. An individual is recommended to donate plasma after 14 days of complete recovery after infection and can continue donating plasma for about 4 to 6 times in the next 3 to 4 months.

A single donor of plasma saves at least three lives. The human body automatically regenerates plasma after 24 hours so, your need not worry about running short of plasma! All the people reading out this article, encourage people to donate plasma and save lives!

Happiness

Is being happy a Sin? Happiness is something that each and every human needs and it is the most demanding thing in this universe. Sometimes we are hurt and we when we find our happiness missing, that will be the saddest part of human life. Happiness is the only thing that can expand your life span. But people now a days are dying at thirty’s and forty’s because of heart attacks and other sudden incidents. Peace gives you more birthdays’s in earth. Lead a peaceful life in this earth. There is only one life and we don’t know who cherished our birth and we’ll not know who cries on our death. Meanwhile there is this thing called life and we meet different people at different occassions. Just give them love and do something to add a smile on their faces. What you may do is a small help but because of that if someone receives a priceless reward called happiness then don’t ignore to keep them happy. Happiness is something that most people don’t receive because of their surrounding. The most happiest period is childhood and sone kids don’t even receive that because of broken families. Some lose their happiness among their co-workers in work place. Learn a simple principle in life, You are going to lose nothing by making others happy, by adding smile to someone else. Just make someone happy and you will know how happy it is to make someone else happy.

Know the 5 Health Benefits of Coffee

We all are accustomed to having one or the other beverages in a day at least once or twice. While as children we were the fans of bournvita, horlicks, boost etc., as an adult we get habituated to coffee or tea. Both the beverages are good with their own benefits. But youth these days seem to be more of a coffee fan than tea. And this is one of the ways to lead a healthy lifestyle because coffee does have a lot of health benefits. Some of them are as follows:

  1. Reduces Stress, Promotes Happiness: Harvard study of over 50,000 women found that depression risk decreased as caffeinated coffee consumption increased. Coffee reduces the stress hormones which further relaxes the person. Researchers found that drinking coffee is linked to positive emotions, including pleasure, kindness, affection, satisfaction, friendship, calm, and yes, happiness. The findings also noted that no negative emotions were tied to coffee consumption. No doubt why coffee is called the HAPPY JUICE.
  2. Reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes: A 2018 meta-analysis of 30 previously published studies concluded that coffee consumption is inversely associated with the risk of type 2 diabetes. For each cup per day increase in coffee consumption, Researchers found that chance of developing the disease decreased by 6%. The possible reasons for the link include coffee’s antioxidative and anti-inflammatory effects, ability to boost calorie burning, impact on the content and diversity of health-protective gut microbes.
  3. Provides more energy for doing heavy exercises: Several studies have shown that in moderation, caffeine enhances athletic performance. The effects include improved circulation, increases in muscular strength, endurance, and power, plus reduced pain. That may help you push just a little bit harder during workouts, resulting in better improvements in muscle strength and/or endurance. A study found that muscle carbohydrate stores are replenished more rapidly when athletes consume both carbs and caffeine following exhaustive exercise. Compared to carbohydrates alone, the combo resulted in a 66% increase in muscle glycogen (the storage form of carbs) four hours after intense exercise. This surge in energy reserves ups your ability to exercise harder and/or longer the next time you’re ready to get your heart rate up.
  4. Keeps you body Hydrated: Coffee has always been blamed as a great dehydrating agent. However, newer research indicates that after about four days of consistent caffeine intake, your body adjusts, which negates the dehydrating effect. The trick is, you have to be consistent. In other words, if you sometimes have one cup of coffee in the morning, sometimes three, or if you occasionally reach for it in the afternoon, you may feel the diuretic side effects, such as headache and low energy.
  5. Has antioxidants: As we all know that coffee seeds are the seeds found inside red or yellow fruit. Both the fruit and the seed have high antioxidant power. In fact, one study found coffee to be the single greatest contributor to total antioxidant intake. This is likely because 65% of American adults say they drink coffee, while only one in 10 eat the minimum recommended five daily servings of fruits and veggies. In other words, coffee becomes the top source of antioxidants by default. Nonetheless, the antioxidants in coffee have been linked to health protection. Chlorogenic acid, a polyphenol abundant in coffee, has been shown to reduce inflammation, and it may play a key role in protection against chronic diseases, including obesity. And just in case you’re wondering about the coffee fruit, it can be turned into compost, or dried and brewed as tea. It’s also being used in products like energy drinks, since the fruit also contains caffeine.

If only drinking coffee can provide us such good health benefits then let’s promise a cup of coffee to our body everyday.

Difference between an imaginary and a practical world

Almost everybody suggests us to be practical. Do you ever think why they do so ? and why to be practical?
Let me answer of this one because whenever we talk about the things which is not in real but we are assuming it, for ex. – ‘I wish I would be an IAS officer’, so the person who listen will definitely interrupt and say – ‘oh common, be practical’. In simple, we are assuming which is not real but still we are assuming which is called imaginary world.
The answer of the second one is that, because we shouldn’t only imagine things but also work hard to make it real. If you keep imagining things without implementation then trust me you are wasting your energy. So that’s why we need to be practical.

“If you can dream it,
You can do it.
Don’t just dream about it,
Work hard to make it happen too.”

A practical world is so different from imaginery one. No doubt, practical people imagine things but they try to make it real too and if it will be impossible then they do back step. So dreaming and imagining is good but to be in your world and ignore the real one is not good.

Teachers

To the one who is assiduous,
Who makes students studious..
To the one who is diligent,
Who brings up children intelligent..
To the one who is earnest,
Who always gives the best..
To the one who is determined,
Who give rise to pupils with great mind..
To the one whose charm is unmatched,
Who gets everyone enthused..
To the one who mould clays into pots,
Wishing you a life that lasts long!!.

Teachers always play an important role in the future of countries, because they mould young minds into better citizens. A teacher is one who gives impact over the lives of his/her students. Teachers are also called as second parents as they take a vital role in disciplining the children. Children being young and innocent believe and trust their teachers with all their heart and mind. Teaching is the most sacrificial profession and the best part is this is the only field in which one can gain by yielding. They don’t keep anything for themselves instead they give all the knowledge they received. Sometimes a student can be more attached to a teacher than his/her family. A teacher is someone who can read the minds by looking at their face, and some teachers are like saviour for some children. There are teachers who support the families of needy children and there are teachers who take up the expenses of their students who cannot afford their educational fees. To some they are second parents and to some they are the God fathers and God mothers. Teachers have the responsibility of making up a better society. Huge thanks to all those teachers who gave sacrificial doctors, social workers, and people who work for the public amidst this pandemic. It’s a part that belongs to those teachers who gave brighter students with such good mind and heart.

Child Abuse

Childhood is a period of life that every human life enjoys the most. That is the most carefree period of life where one never need to bother about what’s next? Probably most of the people wants to return to childhood in their forty’s and sixties and some even in thirty’s, and that is true. But not all people wish to return to childhood, because they never had a sweet and carefree childhood life. There is a saying “Children are the gifts from God” but there are many children suffering without a family and basic needs. Some children are abused and treated like servants just because they are adopted. Just because they don’t have anybody else in this vast and wide world they sacrifice their most valuable period of time to the so called “parents” who just need them to do their chores. And there are children who are stuck in between mother and father and sometimes they feel like, its better they don’t have one such family. It’s not their family that is broken but it is the hearts and dreams of those little kids. Child abuse is usually done by the parents or guardians who are frustrated with their situations. People say God lives in a child but some people without understanding this they abuse kids and ruin their future. Child abusing is a crime and it leaves a lasting imprint on the young minds forever. However hard they try to forget some incidents still remain as a scar in the mind. Child abuse is done to an extent of raping a kid at a very young age and that brings her a sense of fear and she holds that within her until the end of her life. There are also children working in factories and restaurants as child labors. Every employer should know that you cannot have children below 18 years of age as workers. One should keep in mind that we should abolish child labor and child abuse from its very roots. A famous line goes like this “There is no greater inhumanity in the world than hurting or belittling a child”.

Why Do Men Always Dominate Women

It’s a rule of our so – called society that a man always dominate a woman. As we know that we are living in a patriarchal society where a woman always need to do what her husband/father ask her to do. If we talk about ancient time so there were Purdah system, Sati system, Child marriage, which always tried to question the existence of a woman.
When I was a child, I used to observe the inequality in our society and then used to think that – ‘ I wish, I could be a boy’.
The situation of a woman even get worse after her marriage because some man treats his wife like a thing.
But being a girl we should never allow anyone to force us because offcourse we are not a thing. We should be proud to be a girl because it’s so hard to be a girl. Nobody can’t bear that much pain what we do everyday, Nobody can work very hard for one’s identity what we are doing. So proud to be a girl.

Yes, I proud to be a girl,
A girl who suffered a lot,
A girl with full attitude,
A girl who is judged by thr society,
After wearing shorts & skirts
Have to face their bloody staring attitude.

Yes, I proud to be a girl,
Whose role is very important for everyone,
Yeah, we have to face inequality,
But trust me you are nothing without a woman  in the society 🙂

Moon

In a dark night
You shine so bright,
Inspite of your height
You make me delight,
When I'm in plight
You're out of my sight,
And its a fullmoon night
You're here to make my heart lite!!.

Ever tried speaking with the moon? Moon is one best friend whom you can rely in solitude. It can bring calmness and peace within you. Sometimes you can feel the warmth of being around someone who cares about you for real. And sometimes you can feel the person whom you miss the most in this world replying you from a far place just to keep you company. And it really feels awesome to have such experience. Mostly people see their loved ones who expired in this world in moon. Sometimes when you don’t see the moon ‘cause of some scientific reasons and still we feel like playing the person who kept company is abandoning you, and sometimes we see the clouds moving and the moon is just like playing hide and seek with us. And that feels great and it is the best companion one could ever get. Sometimes I feel moon is just possessive over the people whom it loves, because only when you are in silence and calm environment you can feel the warmth of its love. The world at present faces a crucial situation and it will be great if each human cherishes the little things around him/her. There are families broken and people dying unexpectedly. One will never know what the next second holds in his/her life. But cherishing the little happiness which nature provides in free of cost will help greater to overcome the struggles. Just because all, these are free of cost we don’t know the value of them. There is only one life, don’t miss such amazing and fabulous things which the nature yields.

THE BALLAD OF BUSTER SCRUGGS

Movie : The Ballad of Buster Scruggs
Director : Joel and Ethan Coen
Cast : Tim Blake Nelson, Liam Neeson, James Franco, Brendan Gleeson, Zoe
Kazan, Tyne Daly, Harry Melling, and Tom Waits
Genre : Drama, Crime, Comedy, Western anthology

Six interesting, humorous, grim, vile, and mysterious tales set in the post-Civil War West are gripping enough to carry one through the short stories with plenty of mixed emotions about each, with each having a stronger impact than the others. The theme is thoroughly enjoyable for someone who has closely followed and adored the Coen Brothers’ filmography, with their trademark humor, black as tar, and the intrinsically crafted script. Each tale has a distinct plot mood, ranging from sing-alongs to tender romances to harrowing deaths.

The film is wrapped in death, sudden and terrifying, and it’s very lovely. The tales are almost fantastical and similar to folklore, befitting the title of it being a “ballad,” just like the time and place it is set in. The eccentric Buster Scruggs is definitely memorable and entertaining, but the audience must be prepared for the rest, because none of them disappoint, and each tale has a different emotional tone. Each tale varies in length from 10 to 40 minutes, but each one evolves in terms of character and theme just as much as the others.

And it is the director/writer duo’s fun-filled mastery that they do not depart from the storey while also delivering unforgettable characters from each. The Ballad delivers what the Coen Brothers have delivered over the past three decades, masterful storytelling at its finest, from jolly singing to unsettling, and a beautiful ode to the classic westerns while still being a part of them.

Unexpected Bond – Friendship

Friendship is the most unexpected thing I have ever seen in my life. I’m assuming that this thing happens not only to me but also to everyone out here, whenever we want to do friendship with someone eagerly so that person always overpower us or the friendship will not last long. Even I know the reason behind it is that when we request someone to do friendship then the person automatically gets the power to dominate us.
I believe that we should never request anyone to talk to us or to do friendship because it should be mutual right?
Mutual in the sense, friendship is a kind of a feeling that comes from bonding, you can never be friends if you haven’t any bond earlier.
It happens to everyone including me as well. Friendship is so unexpected, you will not even get to know that she/he is your best friend. If you have a very strong bond with someone that this bond will not fade even after not talking for one or two weeks, then trust me he/she is your best friend.
An important thing is that, we should never classify a friend into two groups which is good or bad friend because it’s so childish. We should never say friend to everyone out here because there are different words too – schoolmate , classmate etc. You know if we are using this word “Friend” so easily, it means we are decreasing the value of this word.
Now a days, people do friendship for their own need that’s a most disgusting thing. Don’t do friendship with those you are not connected with, do with those you are connected with.

Self-Confidence

Break the sheath
Emerge from the ground beneath
Raise above the storm
To flourish and bloom..

Self-Confidence is the most valuable thing one can hold. Even if you earn billions if you lack self-confidence you are not worthy enough to be called as perfect. This is one virtue one can stick on to the entire life and the one who lacks self-confidence probably can never succeed in life. Life is the greatest teacher who can teach valuable lesson during its course period called life. And the best thing it teaches is self-confidence and self-motivation. Motivation to your self can lead you to higher achievements and greatest success in life. This is the stairs to victory. Climbing up these stairs is not an easy task without self-confidence and self-motivation. Self-love is the truest love one can hold on in this earth. If you can’t yourself then you can never love anybody else truly. As every single person on this earth knows that life is not a bed of roses, life is filled with ups and downs. But that is not permanent either up or down your level will be changed for sure and nothing can help you overcome except for self-confidence. Being confident in yourself is like plucking a rose amidst the thorns. Once if you cross the thorns and reach the rose, the rose belongs to you. But if you deny going through the thorns you will never reach the rose. Life is filled with thorns and you must have confidence in your own self to reach greater heights. Success comes to those who believe in their abilities. A person with self-confidence is one who is hardworking, optimistic, independent and meaningful in nature. Just believe that you can do anything and everything. Motivate yourself in different ways to keep your mind away from disappointments. Learn from failures, Overcome Struggles, Raise and Shine.

In 2016, Japanese team, led by Dr. Kohei Oda from the Kyoto Institute of Technology and Dr. Kenji Miyamoto from Keio University, collected 250 samples of PET debris and screened for bacterial candidates that depend on PET film as a primary source of carbon for growth. The bacterium was isolated from a consortium of microorganisms in the sediment sample, including protozoa and yeast-like cells. The entire microbial community was shown to mineralize 75% of the degraded PET into carbon dioxide once it had been initially degraded and assimilated by ‘Ideonella sakaiensis’

They identified Ideonella sakaiensis 201-F6, which could nearly completely degrade a thin film of PET after six weeks at a temperature of 86 degrees Fahrenheit (30 degrees Celsius). The PET degrading enzyme of Ideonella sakaiensis, has been genetically modified and combined with MHETase to break down PET faster, and also degrades PEF. This may possibly, along with other approaches, be useful in efforts for recycling and upcycling of mixed plastics.

HOW DOES IT WORKS?

Plastics are polymers, meaning they have a long repeating chain of molecules.

These long chains are exceptionally durable, making them tough to break down and decompose naturally.

If these long polymer chains could somehow be broken down into shorter chains, then they could be recycled easier to form new plastics.

This is exactly what the newly discovered bacteria do; break down the molecules of the plastics into their original building blocks.

By secreting an enzyme which “eats” the chemical bonds in the chain, the molecules are broken down into their smaller components, making them easier to be recycled.

Marks – The Determiner Of One’s Ability

Life used to be very easy when we were a child because we used to do three important things only – Eat, Play and Sleep. From school to college days, each and everyone suggest us to score high in exams but they forget to tell us that first we need to understand and marks shouldn’t be priority.
I know that we are in the 21st century and there are a lot competition among young generation, but do we need to study just for marks so that we can compete with them?
Absolutely not, we should study to understand that particular thing and try ti connect it with the contemporary situation.
We are losing our young generation just for not getting high scores and a lot of pressure on their small shoulders by their parents.
The NCRB data shows that 10,159 students died by suicide in 2018. Every hour one student commits suicide in India, with about 28 such suicides reported every day.
Can’t we make our parents understand that everyone has their own quality and a field of interest? Can’t we make them understand that everybody is not born to be an engineer or a doctor? Can’t we confess them that no, I’m not for this? Can’t we be friendly to them, so that we can share our stress our with them?
I’m not saying that it’s only the mistake of our parents. Not at all, nobody is responsible here, it’s just a matter of radical view and ideology. One should try to make their parents understand that they have their own quality and seriously telling you that “Marks – Really doesn’t describe your ability” because you cannot keep your report card all the time with you. Your behavior, Your Maturity and Your Atticates says a lot about you

An untold story of a woman

There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story within you – Maya Angelou

I was loved
When I was born
I was admired
When I began to crawl
I was adorned
When I started to walk
I was cherished
When I tried to talk
I was applauded
When I ranked top
I was treasured
When I was young
I was harrased
When I was still young
I was scared
When I wanted to tell
I was splintered
When being hunted
I was crumpled
When I was alone
I was priced
When I got married
I was shattered
When sent away from home
I was betrayed
When I had trust
I was veiled
When to be known
I was unmarked
When I had good marks
I was unnamed
When holding a surname
I was waitered
When serving food at home
I was bewildered
When facing troubles more
I was dejected
When in bedstead
I was admired
When I was missed
I was loved again
When I was dead!!

World Laughter Day!

A day without laughter is a day wasted…!!!

Charlie Chaplin

We all know that laughter is one of the best therapy to heal a person. There are many laughter clubs and stand-up comedians who are trying to make people laugh through various antics and therapies. Today is the day to celebrate this best therapy; WORLD LAUGHTER DAY!

Let’s understand how this day came into existence,

It was established in the year of 1998 by Dr. Madan Kataria in Mumbai, India. Dr. Kataria was the founder of the worldwide Laughter Yoga movement. He was very much impressed with the Facial Feedback hypothesis. This hypothesis suggests the connection of someone’s facial expression to their emotions. This was the basis of the foundation of World Laughter Day by Dr. Kataria and his main aim was to promote health and positivity through laughter.

Every Year, World Laughter Day is celebrated on first Sunday of May. It is marked on 2 May this year. In the middle of the pandemic this day is acting as a ray of hope and brings out a little positivity amidst all these crises. Laughter day is celebrated for the positive manifestation of World peace and to promote global brotherhood and friendship. On this day people come together for some moments of time and laugh their hearts out. It was first celebrated in Mumbai in 2008.

We all know how beneficial laughter is to us. Let’s take a look at some of those benefits:

  • ABS through laughter?: Yes, you read that right. Studies have shown that laughter works just like those ab-workouts. So this means you can also have toned abs without having to do those crunches or HIIT Ab workouts. Thank God!
  • Improves Cardiac Health: If a person is unable to do a cardio workout, he can just laugh because laughter is considered as one of the best Cardio workouts one can do. When a person laughs, there is an increase in the pumping of heart which gradually improves the cardiac health of the person. It is like those sale which says Buy 1, Get 1 free! Laughter not only gives you better physical health but also enables you to have a mental peace providing a good mental health.
  • Reduces Stress: One of the main problem experienced by today’s generation is the stress. Every other person is stressed in one way or the other. When a person laughs the anxiety and stress hormones are cut off hence enabling the person to feel better. It is thus used by many doctors as a therapy against several mental disorders.
  • Releases Endorphins: Endorphins are the natural pain killers produced by our body. When a person laughs, it enables our pituitary gland to release endorphins which gradually allows a person to feel better and more pleasant overall.
  • Lowers Blood pleasure: Laughter impacts our blood pressure levels lowering the risks of stroke or a heart attack.

If we can simply have so many benefits just be laughing then why not let’s just laugh for sometime. Kindly spare 5 minutes of your time to see the following video:

And read this unsent letter to heaven
Just for ONE LAST TIME
LEMME HEAR YOU

Selfless Care – A Invisible Bond

What is Selfless Care? A care without any condition. We are living in the 21st century and here it is too difficult to be with someone without any reason, condition and motive.

There are three types of people:-
• The one who are self – centered
• The one who be with you for any motive
• last but not the least, the one who loves you selflessly.

In this world, it is more easier to find the above two types of people but it’s very difficult to find selfless people. In this era where money matters the most, just imagine when someone gives you their own meal and sleep with empty stomach- yes, only our parents can do this.
We meet different types of people during different phases of life and gather a lot of experience with each passing days. Sometimes some people hurt us but on the other hand we form bond with some people. Apart from parents, friendship is the only unconditional relation that can never ditch us no matter what condition. Now let’s talk about those people who taught us a lesson and made us stronger day by day.
• Just think about that friend who left you when he/she is done with you.
• Remember the day when a person hurted you so badly, so that you are unable to trust anybody.
• On the other hand, think of the day when your mom slapped you and made you smile after  5 mins.

One day you will be thankful to all of them who made you realize your worth, your ability, your capacity and on the same day, you will hug the people who stand by you all the time.
