A drink (or beverage) is a liquid intended for human consumption. In addition to their basic function of satisfying thirst, drinks play important roles in human culture. Common types of drinks include plain drinking water, milk, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice and soft drinks. In addition, alcoholic drinks such as wine, beer, and liquor, which contain the drug ethanol, have been part of human culture for more than 8,000 years.
Tea is the world’s second-most-consumed drink
Non-alcoholic drinks often signify drinks that would normally contain alcohol, such as beer and wine, but are made with a sufficiently low concentration of alcohol by volume. The category includes drinks that have undergone an alcohol removal process such as non-alcoholic beers and de-alcoholized wines.
Is fast and junk food unhealthy?
People use the term junk food to describe a food that has few of the nutrients your body needs, and a lot of fat, sugar and salt, which your body can easily get too much of. Potato chips, candy, and soft drinks are often considered junk food. If you like these snack foods, the trick is to eat them in small portions so that you still get the nutrients you need each day.It is high in calories and extremely low in nutrients. It is a major cause of serious problems like obesity and malnourishment due to the lack of essential nutrients in the diet. The school students are the worst victims of malnutrition. The reason behind it is not poverty but their growing fondness for junk and fried food.
Most students prefer pizzas and burgers over fruits and green vegetables. Such items have always been a more tempting option to the home cooked meal of rice, chapatis and vegetables. The opening of fast food corners has made it convenient to grab a burger than to carry a tiffin. But there is a huge price to be paid for this convenience. As we eat junk food, the brain neurons pump out more and more dopamine, giving us a feeling of pleasure. When released, dopamine fits into a receptors in the brain, much like a key fits into a lock, and when the fit is right the pleasure is sensed.A variety of fast food like pizza, burger, presweetened cereals, chips, noodles, processed foods are easily available in the market. People find it desirable and convenient to eat such food items as they please their taste buds more than regular food. These types of food haven’t got any nutrition, rather they are high in cholesterol, sugar, sodium and low in fibre, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. These foods are hazardous for health. They give rise to blood pressure, resulting in hypertension and cardiac disorders. Sometimes they develop chronic degenerative disorders also. They simply feed hunger along with our immediate craving. They do not form our body in the form of usable lasting energy or building materials provided by nutritious food like fruits, vegetables, chapattis, pulses, etc. This food only looks and tastes good, other than that, it has no positive points.
The amount of calorie your body requires to stay fit is not fulfilled by this food. For instance, foods like French fries, burgers, candy, and cookies, all have high amounts of sugar and fats. Therefore, this can result in long-term illnesses like diabetes and high blood pressure. This may also result in kidney failure.Everyone should realise the importance of healthy and nutritious food and should say ‘no’ to fast food. Parents must ensure that their children eat healthy and home-made food. Children should also break the shackles of unhealthy food and follow a diet-chart suggested by their parents.School authorities should also take immediate steps to replace fast food items with health promoting items such as milk, eggs, bread sandwich, fruit chaat etc. Students should be taught that health is wealth. If they remain healthy, only then they can concentrate on studies. Junk food will bring nothing but ill health, obesity and unhappy life.
POVERTY
Two-thirds of people in India live in poverty. This makes the Indian subcontinent one of the poorest countries in the world. Women and children are the weakest members of Indian society and they suffer most.India is the second most in population country after China with about 1.2 billion people and is the seventh largest country in the world. More than 800 million people in India are considered poor. Most of them live in the countryside. The lack of employment which provides a livable wage in rural areas is driving many Indians into rapidly growing metropolitan areas such as Bombay, Delhi, Bangalore or Calcutta. They don’t have any food to eat, water to drink and even no electricity. The poor hygiene conditions are the cause of diseases such as cholera, typhus and dysentery, in which especially children suffer and die.

Poverty in India impacts children, families and individuals in a variety of different ways through:High infant mortality,Malnutrition,Child labour,Lack of education,Child marriage.India is one of the world’s top countries when it comes to malnutrition: More than 200 million people don’t have sufficient access to food, including 61 million children. 7.8 million infants were found to have a birth weight of less than 2.5 kilograms.Although child labour for children under the age of 14 in India is prohibited by law, according to official figures, 12.5 million children between the ages of 5 and 14 are working. Aid agencies assume that in reality, there are many more estimating that 65 million children between 6 and 14 years do not go to school. Instead, in order to secure survival, it is believed that Indian children contribute to the livelihood of their families; they work in the field, in factories, in quarries, in private households and in prostitution. Many children are not educated and they go to work because of their poverty. Many children beg in road side and they get something to eat from the money. Now in this situation, due to corona many middle class family lost their job and many poor people are not able to find food for their hunger. People should treat them well and help them with what they can give. They can provide them with food and water in this pandemic situation. All should come forward to help them. If we can’t help them they will suffer badly. Our government has also taken measures for providing them food so we can also donate some money to them or we can also buy some food and give to poor people near your house. They will be so happy. We should come forward and take steps and make them happy. When we do this our country’s poverty will reduce and we should stop child labour and those who can help them with their studies should come forward. We can’t expect everything should be done by the government if we can we should do it. When we do some good things many will see us and they will also do. We should keep poverty away but not a poor!
South korea Tourism
South Korea, an East Asian nation on the southern half of the Korean Peninsula, shares one of the world’s most heavily militarized borders with North Korea. It’s equally known for its green, hilly countryside dotted with cherry trees and centuries-old Buddhist temples, plus its coastal fishing villages, sub-tropical islands and high-tech cities such as Seoul, the capital.South Korea is a very safe country to visit. It is famous for being the land of kimchi, K-pop, K-dramas, tech giant Samsung, automotive manufacturer Hyundai, soju, Korean fried chicken, Korean barbecue, the 12-step skincare routine, and of course, Gangnam Style. But there’s so much more to this East Asian tiger than the trends it has given birth to.Its crime rates are much lower than in the US and on par with most European countries, Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong. This mostly means that, for tourists and anyone else, it is perfectly safe to walk around at night, even in the larger cities. Violent crime is also rare.Since the turn of the 21st century, South Korea has emerged as a major exporter of popular culture and tourism, aspects which have become a significant part of its burgeoning economy.K-dramas have attracted attention for their fashion, style and culture all over the world.South Korea offers everything a traveler could want in a destination. It has a long and fascinating history, a wonderful culture, amazing food, friendly people, and an excellent tourism infrastructure (including a new high-speed rail system). It’s also a country of contrasts, with tourist attractions ranging from ancient mountaintop Buddhist temples like Bulguksa to the ultra-modern skyscrapers of Seoul like the Lotte World Tower. All Koreans speak the Korean language, which is often classified as one of the Altaic languages, has affinities to Japanese, and contains many Chinese loanwords. The South Korean won or Korean Republic won is the official currency of South Korea. A single won is divided into 100 jeon, the monetary subunit. The jeon is no longer used for everyday transactions, and appears only in foreign exchange rates. The won is issued by the Bank of Korea, based in the capital city of Seoul.
It also has one of the most unique attractions in the world that can be visited, a no-mans land, part of a military border between two countries technically still at war (the DMZ). Plan your trip with our list of the top tourist attractions South Korea. You should plan to spend around ₩111,235 ($100) per day on your vacation in South Korea, which is the average daily price based on the expenses of other visitors. Guns, narcotics, pornography, subversive material, treasonous material, and counterfeit goods are prohibited from entering Korea.Seoul, Busan, and Juju Island are some of the most popular tourist destinations in South Korea which are perfectly safe to visit while travelling with family .English is not very widely spoken in South Korea overall, although you will have better luck in the capital Seoul, where there will be more English speakers in the main tourist areas.April to June is generally regarded the best time to visit South Korea. The flowers are in bloom and a frothy, dust-pink cloak of blossoms covers the country.
Racism against ‘Northeast Indian People’
Northeast India is the eastern most part of India which comprises of 8 states Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, and Sikkim. These places showered with the beauty of ‘Mother Nature’.
India is well known for its Diversity. People, culture, tradition, art etc., in one region are not the same as the other region in the country, this diversity and difference is what makes India unique. But are people in India embracing these changes?
Racism in own Country:
People travelling from their hometown to any new region will be usually prone to or come across some sort of racism. But, people from Northeast region of India who move to other parts of the country are more affected by racism and discrimination. The Covid 19 situation has made it worse. They face a lot discrimination for their appearance, people from other parts of India call them as Chinese or with other nationality name or nick names. It won’t take much time for them to back call back the racist person as a Pakistani or with other nationality name? when that person is actually Indian. Just because people appear different from the majority doesn’t give anyone the right to mock them. No one has the right to change someone’s National Identity for satisfying their racist mind.
Lack of awareness:
People from other parts of India know very less or have no knowledge about the Northeast India. It is such a nature blessed region with kind hearted people which everyone must be aware of. Not knowing about a region present in one’s own country is not a proud thing. People in India must be educated about all the Indian regions so that they can know more about their country and embrace every difference they come across rather than discriminating and hating others for being different.
In a diverse country like India people don’t have any typical #Indian look. The feeling of belongingness should not be taken away from the fellow countrymen. Prejudices and stereotypes shouldn’t be made based on one’s appearance. People’s appearances differ in each region of our country and despite all the differences being united, accepting and respecting people and their culture for what they are is National Integration. Why all Indians are not called as just ‘Indian’ but are specified as North Indian, South Indian or Northeast Indian? All the soldiers in the border belong to different region, culture, tradition etc., they protect the country to ensure the safety of all Indians and not a particular region or race alone. The feeling of Oneness despite any sort of difference will only make the country prosper.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT: “STILL A LONG WAY TO GO”?
“YOU CAN TELL THE CONDITION OF A NATION BY LOOKING AT THE STATUS OF ITS WOMEN”. . – JAWAHAR LAL NEHRU According to the provisions of the CONSTITUTION OF INDIA, it is a legal point to grant EQUALITY to WOMEN in all spheres of society just like male! THE DEPARTMENT OF WOMEN AND AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT functions well in this field for the PROPER DEVELOPMENT of the WOMEN AND CHILD in India. Women are given a top place in INDIA, from the ancient time, however they were not given EMPOWERMENT to participate in all areas. They were restricted to some areas only. BUT, the question here is,. “WHAT IS WOMEN EMPOWERMENT”? “WHAT IT’S LIKE TO EMPOWERING WOMEN”? Well, In simple terms,. WOMEN EMPOWERMENT IS “THE EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN”. It is made up of two words: WOMEN AND EMPOWERMENT. EMPOWERMENT means to give power or authority to someone. Hence, It refers to making women POWERFUL to make them CAPABLE OF DECIDING FOR THEMSELVES, by breaking all personal limitations of society and family. IT MEANS “INCREASING THE POWER OF WOMEN”. Women have capabilities to make a world of difference in the great march of civilization. But, Today, “ARE WOMEN REALLY EMPOWERED”? “CAN THEY TAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS”? “ARE THEY REALLY FREE”?
Well, The Answer is not “ALL OF THEM”. The Status of Women in India has been subject to many changes over the span of recorded Indian history. HISTORY says that WOMEN were ILL-TREATED. Their position in society deteriorated early in India’s ancient period, especially in INDO-ARYAN speaking regions, and their subordination continued to be refined well into India’s early modern period. Women have always been the most vulnerable and oft-explioted segments of the society in any age, any time, any place, and any society. They have been since ages VICTIMS of HUMILIATION, EXPLOITATION AND VIOLENCE. The SATI PRATHA in the ancient times to the GIRL CHILD ABOLITION in the present scenario, women continue facing such violence. But, It’s not like, that now People and Governments are oblivious about Their situation and condition.
There have been many provisions and schemes taken up by various Governments in their respective countries. In INDIA, GOVERNMENT has come up with many schemes such as, “BETI BACHAO, BETI PADHAO” YOJANA, MAHILA SHAKTI KENDRA, WORKING WOMEN HOSTELS, and many schemes in favour of them.
ARTICLE 15(3) mentions the welfare of women and children can be stated as,” Nothing in this article shall prevent the state from making any special provision for women and children”.
MINISTRY FOR WOMEN AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT has collaborated with FACEBOOK on NOVEMBER 19, 2019, to enhance digital literacy and online safety for women in India. The GOVERNMENT OF INDIA has taken the safety and empowerment of women into serious consideration. The growing injustice towards WOMEN had to be minimised and these schemes and their implementation are the solutions to this problem. Several Women have served in various senior official positions in the INDIAN GOVERNMENT, including that of THE PRESIDENT OF INDIA( MRS. PRATIBHA PATIL), THE PRIME MINISTER ( INDIRA GANDHI),CHIEF MINITERS(SUCHETA KRIPLANI), MEMBERS IN PARLIAMENT and THE SPEAKER OF LOK SABHA. This shows that GOVERNMENTS are becoming more and more active in amelioration of women’s condition in our society. However,. Many Women in India continue to face significant difficulties from many sectors. In some societies, WOMEN are still discriminated on the basis of GENDER. They are not given the same freedom as Men. Girls of many societies (especially in RURAL AREAS OF INDIA) are still not allowed to take a decision regarding their lives. What can a Government do with their schemes? If there are not many girls to adapt it. Discrimination against women is still deeply rooted within our Society. Women are still paid less, compared to men. Women are still strict by their culture and family. She cannot go out at nights, with or without a Guy! She cannot has a say in decision making. Even Today, in COMBODIA, WOMEN are determined or recognized by their husbands and Fathers. IS THIS THE EMPOWERMENT? WE OFTEN TALK ABOUT? IS THIS THE FREEDOM WE WANT TO ACHIEVE? No!!!! EMPOWERING WOMEN IS TO GIVE HER THE RIGHT! THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE EQUALLY IN SOCIETY, EDUCATION, IN DECISION MAKING. Women should be allowed HIGHER EDUCATION as men. Women should be allowed to decide whether she wants marriage of not!!! But Can we expect this in INDIA??
As THE UNION MINISTER HARDEEP SINGH PURI has rightly said, ” WOMEN EMPOWERMENT HAS COME A LONG WAY, BUT WE HAVEN’T ARRIVED YET”.
China’s Role In Coronavirus Outbreak
Scientists probing the origins of the coronavirus are wrapping up a lengthy investigation in China and have found “important clues” about a Wuhan seafood market’s role in the outbreak.
Peter Daszak, a New York-based zoologist assisting the World Health Organization-sponsored mission, said he anticipates the main findings will be released before his planned Feb. 10 departure. Speaking from the central city of Wuhan, where Covid-19 mushroomed in December 2019, Daszak said the 14-member group worked with experts in China and visited key hot spots and research centers to uncover “some real clues about what happened.”
Investigators want to know how the SARS-Cov-2 virus — whose closest known relative came from bats 1,000 miles away — spread explosively in Wuhan before causing the worst contagion in more than a century. Daszak said the investigation heralds a turning point in pandemic mitigation.
“It’s the beginning of hopefully a really deep understanding of what happened so we can stop the next one,” he said over Zoom late Friday. “That’s what this is all about — trying to understand why these things emerge so we don’t continually have global economic crashes and horrific mortality while we wait for vaccines. It’s just not a tenable future.”
Worldwide, Covid-19 has caused more than 105.7 million infections and 2.3 million deaths. The WHO was asked in May to help “identify the zoonotic source of the virus and the route of introduction to the human population, including the possible role of intermediate hosts.”
Lab Theory
The lack of a clear pathway from bats to humans has stoked speculation — refuted by Daszak and many other scientists — that the virus might have escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, a maximum bio-containment laboratory studying bat-borne corona viruses.Scientists visited the lab and asked Shi Zhengli, who has collected and analyzed these viruses for more than a decade, about the research and the earliest known coronavirus cases
Scientists probing the origins of the coronavirus are wrapping up a lengthy investigation in China and have found “important clues” about a Wuhan seafood market’s role in the outbreaks.
‘Important Clues’
Subsequent research found earlier cases among people not linked to the market, undermining that theory. Investigators looked further and found “important clues” about the market’s role, Daszak said, declining to elaborate.
“Right now, we’re trying to tease everything together,” he said. “We’ve looked at these three strands separately. Now we’re going to bring it together and see what everything tells us.”
While the food market was shuttered and cleaned almost immediately after cases were recognized, “it’s still pretty intact,” Daszak said. “People left in a hurry and they left equipment, they left utensils, they left evidence of what was going on, and that’s what we looked at.”
Scientists in China who took environmental samples inside the market identified sites where traces of SARS-CoV-2 were detected, he said. Investigators also benefited from greater understanding of Covid-19.
We know now what we didn’t know then — that for every sick case, there were others that were asymptomatic or difficult to distinguish from a cold or cough,” Daszak said. “And so it’s not unexpected that there would have been other cases other than ones that got into hospital. But how many others, when did this start? That’s the sort of thing we’re still working on.”
Viruses are passed along “convoluted rivers of emergence” and tracing that journey is complicated and will take “a really long time,” Daszak said. “What I have seen already tells me that there are some real clues about what happened, and I hope that we’ll be able to make a solid explanation of that by the end of this trip.”
A memoir of school days
Life was simple and easy, when I was of 3 years and walked into school everyday. It was a time of fun and pain. The new environment away from my mother and father which made me uncomfortable but eventually made me feel happy. Soon time flew and I started growing mentally and physically. Few years later I was allowed to wrap my own books and pack my food, it gave me a sense of supremacy and pride to go to school. Sitting and having everyone’s lunch except mine and buying the delicious chocolates from the canteen will always hold a close place to me. As I grew, the pressure of exams also did. School was soon more of a headache than fun now. Every 2 months I would have to get up in the morning just to open the same book I had been reading for the past 20 days. Time flew and I saw myself in the class of a 12th grader. What? It’s my last year? I looked back at all the times I spent at the same campus having the same food, playing in the same ground. I could not bare the thought of leaving and graduating. Soon, I had my graduation day and it was going to be my last day as a part of the institution. It made me really nostalgic looking around at the group of people I had grown up with and now I will never mostly even see them again in my life.
I was glad to have experienced everything as right after the pandemic had struck and life had suddenly become so monotonous. Sitting at home doing nothing, I realized that school was the one which kept my hands busy and now I feel restless due to the absence of my friends and the environment. The place will always hold a very dear place in my heart and to all the people who were not able to go there for their final years due to the pandemic, Just cherish everything you had before, Trust me, It’s all worth it!
Amul vs PETA: What is the fight about?
PETA or People for Ethical Treatment of Animals has asked Amul, India’s largest co-operative milk producing industry to start producing vegan milk instead of animal milk, citing that Amul should change with time as plant-based milk is in high demand by the vegans (People who do not consume animal or animal products are known as vegans)
Amul published a myth buster against ‘plant-based milk’ and saying that plant-based milk should not be termed as milk because they do not fulfill the criterion to be termed as milk. Adding to it they said, that plant-based milk does not have any of the nutrients which are available in the milk of cows and buffaloes.
Even, FSSAI or Food Safety and Standard Authority India has set a regulation in 2017, preventing the use of the word milk in non-dairy or plant based products.
The milk industry is now around a controversial debate that techniques like artificial insemination, selective breeding and unnecessary lactating hormones are used upon the cows to get milk. Also, PETA stated how the dairy industry is the precursor for the beef industry.
Amul in return replied that their co-operative industry runs because farmers are the one who are providing milk to them and if they convert and start plant-based beverages then livelihoods of millions of farmers will end.
The fight between Amul and PETA, resulted in Amul writing a letter to the Prime Minister regarding banning of PETA in India.
Another fact to be noted is Indians are still reluctant to adopt veganism. The plant-based products are not really in demand in the Indian markets as they are in countries like United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand etc. Comparing animal milk and plant-based milk, Plant based beverages are double the price of the regular animal milk. Hence, most of the consumers choose animal milk over plant based milk because of the cheaper rate. Indian markets are not yet ready to change and adopt veganism as of right now.
We cannot take sides or decide who is right and who is wrong PETA or Amul.
But we do know as a matter of fact that, many companies have started selling plant-based beverages in Indian market example, Sofit, Epigamia, Urban Platter and GoodMylk but it would take some awareness and time to make Indians adopt veganism completely.

The decision was taken in view of the still high number of cases due to the second wave of the pandemic as well as the chances of a third wave. The Chief Minister, M. K Stalin announced that the “Class 12 Board Examination for this year is cancelled.”
Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin
on Saturday night announced cancellation of Class XII state board exams in view of the Covid-19 second wave in the state. The state government held discussions with parents, teachers, educationists, health experts and political parties in the past three days on conducting the exams. Though there were mixed opinion on conducting the board exams, all of them wanted to ensure the safety of the children. Covid-19 second wave is still raging in the state and health experts also predicted a third wave. However, the state government cannot vaccinate Class XII students as they are aged below 18 years,” chief minister said in a statement.
He said the state government was still firm on its policy of conducting Class XII admissions based on Class XII exam marks. “However, doctors say postponing the exam further will affect the students psychologically. Based on the medical advice and other recommendations, the state government is cancelling Class XII state board exams,” he said.

How to be a good listener?
Listening is a skill and everybody should have good knowledge of that. If you are attending a conference or a meeting, your listening skills will only make you outstanding in your team. Only when you listen you can interpret their ideas or you can revert back to that person. This is like an art and it can’t be mastered in a day. Lots of practice will make you a good listener.
Some people think listening can be easy and they can easily do it but when they attend a lecture or something they will get to know how bad they are at listening. We have to make a mindset that listening to them will increase our knowledge. Then only our brain will train itself to listen to the speech. When you simply think this lecture will be boring and it is of no use to you then the brain will automatically register this and you will find the lecture to be even more boring.
Ask more questions to the speaker if you really don’t know the topic they are speaking about. Only when you ask questions your doubt will be solved and you can register the content they are speaking. Don’t simply jump to a conclusion to the speaker’s words. Analyse and identify the key concepts and ideas of their speech. In this way, you are making mental notes in your mind.
You can also do introspection. Recording something of yours and listen to it and find whether you are able to get a clear image and grasp of it or not. In this way, you can find the fault. Because after you listen you might have to give your opinion. So, your speaking skills also will play a major role. Don’ ask questions desperately. Wait for the speaker to complete his/ her speech and get back to them. If you desperately ask without letting them finish their speech a bad impression will fall on you.
A good tip is to make an eye-contact with the speaker. This is the most important steps in listening. When you make an eye-contact they will get to know that you are actively participating there. In most countries, this step is considered a better one in listening.
You can relax for some time. But at the same time be attentive and listen to the person in front of you. Relaxing doesn’t mean that you can skip the part that the speaker is speaking. Instead don’t sit too erect. If you do this your muscles will become tight. So relax and listen to them.
Asking questions and interrupting is different. Don’t interrupt the speaker and give or impose your ideas on the speech they are giving. It is considered a bad habit in listening. If you find something really interesting and want to talk about it wait for them and let them finish the speech.
After listening you can give feedback to the speaker. Here you can tell the things you felt in their speech and the sentences or statements you liked. Give a genuine reply. Don’t just speak for the sake of giving feedbacks.
Why people love to work from home?
Work from home has become so popular in these covid times. Everybody is preferring to work from home as it is so comfortable and you can take care of your family as well. You can work at your flexible time. There is no office stress and travel expenses. You can better work-life balance. If you are a parent you can monitor your kids easily from the comfort of your home.
When you are supposed to travel for work to so many places it will cause stress due to pollution and the people you face. Now your job is like a freelancer. But your job is assured and you don’t have to do hunting and searching for clients. See the amount you saved by working from home. Many people travel to their workplaces either by using public transport or their own vehicles.
If you are travelling using public transport the cost will be less. But compared to that amount spent for the entire month the cost is high. And you will be not sure when the public transport will come and their timings. And you can’t adjust to it all the time.
If you are travelling by your own vehicle then you have to spend the money on fuel and nowadays fuel prices have become so high. and also pollution has become a major problem. And lots of vehicles have emerged nowadays which resulted in traffic. This leads to stress and due to traffic you will get late for your work. Getting late to the office will put your job at stake. And you have to face the angry wrath of your boss or manager.
But when you work from home you can join the meetings on time without any delay. The meeting time will be scheduled beforehand and all you have to do is make yourself prepared for the meeting on time. In this way your job is safe and the meeting will go smoothly without any interruptions. But, make sure you have a proper internet connection during the meeting. Because you can’t make any excuses for this. Having poor internet won’t look good during your meeting.
You love your home. Working in an environment that you love will give you a positive vibration and will give you the much-needed energy to finish your work. Some people hate office gossips so work from home is pure bliss for them. They can enjoy their work from a home facility more than going to the office and speaking with people without any interest. Not only introverts are like this. But, some extroverts may also hate this.
This will lead you to a happier and healthier lifestyle and you can spend your leisure time from the comfort of your home. Travelling to the office during climate changes will create havoc on your health. But if you work from home your health will be taken care of and at the same time, you can be at more peace.
This will help you to do physical exercises. Earlier when you go to the office on a daily basis you would have missed your exercise routine due to travel and other things. But, work from home will help you to schedule your lifestyle and you can execute it in a better-optimized way.
WHETHER WORK FROM MY HOME IS A BEST WAY
In India and all over the world the corona virus is spreading fast without any end. In India the government has told that all people must stay in house and do their work. The corona virus is most dangerous it is killing people many people are affected by it. Working in an office is a risk thing because there will be many people working if it comes to a person it may spread to others. So the government has instructed the officers to stay the workers from their house and work. The workers are affected by these things much because their working hours has no limit. They are given work after completing their work they only they are allowed to sleep. The officers of the company gave them leave in Sunday’s but they are not allowed to be free, if they get sick or if their family members they are not allowed to take leave any day without completing the work. Company officers are trying to make their losses into strength of their company which is happening during this pandemic situation. The corona virus has made their business into a loss they are trying to maintain the normal thing which was happening before corona time. The economy is going down it is now in minus it has to be in the good form. The lockdown and corona virus made this happen because if there is no lockdown and if we every people went to work this Economy will not be in loss. Economy is about each and everybody who works it is equal for their farmers, if they go to field only we get food and other things are exported through that also we are getting money. Economy is down because all over the world there is corona virus no one is trying to export or import because India is first. Vaccines and medicines we sent to other countries we didn’t keep anything for ourselves so we suffered. Many people because of work from home some are in other country, state and district itself. Some are happy because of work from home now government told that some can work in office with 50% of people. So the company is very slow because they couldn’t coordinate all the people in the office and work from home at a time. Companies are in a difficult situation that how to bring the company. Working from home so all our at home while meeting how a family can be quite a family means there will be some noises and sounds, but the companies are expecting that there must be no noise it is possible in office. They are having network issues and some are having laptops by seeing it closely and working for hours they are affected by eye sight. Many workers in the company are being stressed nowadays no one is in bench means without working. Due to this corona pandemic many have lost their jobs and those who are doing daily work and salary don’t know what to do for food and shelter. This corona virus has changed each one’s life a lot we have to break the chain and come out of this pandemic situation.
“ONLY WHEN WE THINK THAT WE CAN SUCCED WE WILL ACT SO LET’S THINK AND ACT”
India’s most dreaded yet dearest word

SEDITION
Sedition is a word that appears every day on news. The recent turn of events that made sedition the headlines was that the Supreme Court quashed the case of sedition filed against a journalist in Himachal Pradesh. He was accused of making remarks against the Prime Minister and the government’s handling of the migrant crisis that followed COVID- 19 lock down during the first wave last year in a video.
A sedition case was filed against him under section 124A of the IPC. The section penalises sedition as punishable with either imprisonment ranging from three years to a lifetime, a fine, or both. The Supreme Court once again as a saviour of constitutional rights quashed the case rendering his remarks as genuine criticism of the government. The Supreme Court reiterated the principles of the landmark case Kedarnath Singh versus union of India 1962. In landmark judgment the Supreme Court upheld the constitutional validity of sedition law while restricting its scope for misuse.
A walk through the history of sedition
Sedition law was enacted in India during the colonial era. It was the brainchild of England who believed that only good opinions of the government should survive. Macauley is credited with drafting the sedition law for the first time in 1837. In 1870 section 124A was introduced in Indian Penal Code. Many freedom fighters were booked under sedation. The first person was Bal Gangadhar Tilak, who was accused of writing seditious articles in his newspaper, Kesari. His judgement in Bombay High Court was passed by Arthur Strachey for the ‘seditious libel’.
The law survived in post-independence India. In the constituent assembly an attempt was made by K.M. Munshi, a strong supporter of free speech, to repeal the word sedition from the list of exceptions for rights to free speech under article 19 of the constitution. It was a successful endeavour however sedition remained functional under the Indian Penal Code.
From time to time the Supreme Court took charge to interpret the law vis-à-vis Brij Bhushan vs the state of Delhi (1950), Romesh Thappar vs the state of Madras (1950), Kedarnath Singh vs state of Bihar (1962) and Balwant Singh vs State of Punjab (1995). The landmark 1962 judgement upheld the constitutionality of sedition but limited its application. It defined that the thin line between ‘very strong speech’ and ‘vigorous words’ strongly critical of the government.
Presently, Section 124A of IPC states-
‘Whoever, by words, either spoken or written, or by science, or by visible representation, or otherwise, brains or attempts to bring into hatred or contempt, or excites or attempts to excite this affection towards the government established by law in India shall be punished with imprisonment for life, to which fine may be added, or with imprisonment which may extend to three years, to which fine may be added, or with fine’
What next?
Sedition cannot be repealed within a fortnight. It has a long history and will have a future as well. The best the government can do is the refrain from misusing it, the Supreme Court will remain the saviour of the people of India and us, the citizens should try to use freedom of speech in the best interest of the nation.
ODISHA- 1999 and afterwards
ODISHA- 1999 and afterwards
About nine hours away from Bhubaneswar, Bhawanipatna city is situated which is the district headquarter of Kalahandi which is one of the thirty districts present in Odisha. Long ago Bhawanipatna used to be the capital of the Kalahandi kingdom and the Kalahandi palace can still be seen there. Kalahandi had been ruled by the Naga dynasty for decades but it’s known not for the Nagas but for its poverty.
Phanas Punji of Amlapali village in Kalahandi sold her two-year-old sister-in-law for Rs. 40 to save her two starving children. To which Kapil Narayan Tiwari, a former MLA, said “Here, children are sold cheaper than channas, and the government, instead of rescuing the poor from hunger, is pressurizing them to deny the sale stories.”

This incident in the year 1985 shook the nation and soon Kalahandi caught up the lime-light. Former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi visited Kalahandi with his wife Sonia Gandhi and made a remarkable statement that of every rupee spent by the government ,only 15 paise reached the intended beneficiary. These VIP visits highlighted the issues and suffering of Kalahandi but the ground reality remained somewhat unaffected. In a statement dated five months after the visit of Rajiv Gandhi Phanas Punji said “I am poorer after Rajiv Gandhi’s visit. Officials came once and gave me a sari (worth Rs.7) and 8 kg of grains, which was an insult to my poverty. The sari is still lying unused though I couldn’t keep the grains: my children were so hungry.”
But after almost twenty years when the media found Phanas Punji again, she was no longer a picture of penury and hunger. She was wearing decent clothes along with jewelry. And this improvement can also be verified with RBI data: in the year 1999, Odisha was the poorest state in India but in the year 2012 it jumped 5 positions ahead.

Odisha faced ignorance from it’s rulers in history especially in British era and even after independence which were considered to be the reason of it’s poverty. Not only poor governance but many-a-times extreme weather conditions ranging from cyclones to droughts were also considered to be reason. The famine of 1866 killed more than one million people. But many researchers believe that extreme weather conditions couldn’t be treated as the sole reason of poverty, poor governance and policies are equally responsible for the same. For example in a report of the 1866 famine stated that increased exports, hoarding and inadequate relief also contributed as immediate causes of people’s sufferings.
Till date seven Prime Ministers of independent India have visited Kalahandi to promise better policies. In-fact it is believed that Indira Gandhi got the inspiration of the slogan ‘Garibi hatao’ when she visited Kalahandi.

It should also be kept in mind that situations vary from place to place within Odisha as well. Odisha can broadly be divided into three parts i.e., North Odisha, South Odisha and Coastal Odisha. North Odisha is the area of mines whereas Coastal Odisha is full of cities and tourist attractions and South Odisha is a hilly area where most of the tribal communities reside.
Studies have shown that Coastal Odisha has almost half the poverty rate compared to other regions.
But situations began to improve in the twenty-first century. Economists showed in their studies that the average growth rate of Odisha rose to 8 per cent which immensely helped in the eradication of poverty.
The credit goes to the Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who has been the CM of the state of nineteen years now. Over the past two decades ‘The man who couldn’t care’ has transformed his image to a man who’s known for his simple lifestyle and generosity. But he didn’t just change his image but also changed the future of Odisha.

The main reason of economic development in Odisha was the rapid growth and improvement in it’s tertiary sector. Within the first decade of twenty-first century the share of tertiary sector in Odisha’s economy increased from 39 per cent to 49.8 per cent. And this wasn’t exclusive to Odisha. The tertiary sector of India was helping in rapid economic growth all over the nation and Odisha used the same for it’s economy.
At the same time, not only economic but Odisha also had social development. For example the first decade of this century saw a major dip in the infant mortality rate in Odisha.
The credit for these socio-economic development goes to three social initiatives of the state government i.e., 1. Mission Shakti and similar other programs where the women are provided with skills and facilities so that they can become more independent. Not only this but the CM also made women more politically independent by giving 33 per cent reservations in state assembly elections and 50 per cent reservations in the panchayat elections. 2. Disaster management model of Odisha which has been appreciated by the United Nations as well. The system developed after the super cyclone of 1999 worked it’s best when another such severe cyclone Phailin struck the state in the year 2013, and since then the state is the best cyclone ready state in the country. 3. The public distribution centers in Odisha avail the poor section with grains and Ahaar centers distribute cooked meal for the needy all at minimal costs which has brought down starvation due to poverty in the state.
With the implementation of many such policies CM Naveen Patnaik showed that development is possible even in extreme weather conditions. But it should also be noted that within the years inequality also rose in the state as major developments were limited to Coastal Odisha only. This could be possible because the growth in the tertiary sector of the state was mostly in the coastal regions. Another reason being mining which has also increased inequality. Studies have shown that the areas where mines are present are poorer than other areas. The reason behind this could be the fact that the major benefits obtained by mining go into the pockets of a chosen few.
The prevailing problems may indicate that people and organizations may demand betterment but the state has least politically active population contrary to the neighboring state of West Bengal where political activism within the masses remains at it’s peak mostly. A local journalist Kedar believes that Odisha has been a feudal place for centuries and thus the popular mentality of the people is that their leaders should think and do for them while they are not interested in governance etc. And this feudal system is still existent behind the veil where all major authorities like media etc., are controlled by a few families who entertain all the power.
Even after years of development, poverty is still the major problem of Odisha.’ Phanas Punji bristles at any stranger bearing even the faintest resemblance of a journalist or cameraman who might approach her. “Go away. You guys take my pictures and sell them for a price while I continue to wallow in poverty.” she says.’ reported the Indian Express on 6th September 2016.
Now the people of Odisha have started to take baby steps towards being active for the betterment of the state.
How To Deal a Bad Boss or a Bad Manager
We may always like to sit tight in an armchair dreaming up Utopias. Utopias are a generally ideal world where you get bosses who understand your needs and requirements. She appreciates you for your excellence and motivates you on your failure. She possesses the qualities of an excellent leader and is an invaluable asset for you.
Well, reality may be far from your fantasy. Here, you may have bosses who are cold, dominating and assertive. She may be someone who takes your credits and someone who cannot even spell the word a-p-p-r-e-c-i-a-t-i-o-n.
Whatever the case may be, you have to cope up with them. You cannot expect everyone to be kind and sensitive to your needs. Just go with the flow until you reach a new shore.

Best Ways To Deal With a Bad Boss
Communication
Your boss may not know that they are cold. Communicate with them and express your hankering. However, you may not always get a positive response. Sometimes, you may be targeted post haec. Therefore, always be on the safe side and try to communicate indirectly but efficiently.
Diagonal Communication May Work
You may find no use after communicating to your immediate head. In such cases, address your concerns to the managers or HR heads. Tell them what you feel about your boss and seek their advice.
Observe
Sometimes, your boss may not care about the duration of your break. Instead, they might be behaving coldly to preserve their ego or pride. Just to assert his position, he may be acting cold. If this is the case, you can act accordingly. So, observation is the key!
Personal is Personal And Professional is Professional
Do not let the coldness of your boss affect your professional work, duties and obligations in any way. Even if it is destroying your patience, stay on good terms with other leaders of your company. Being dull and taking breaks will only add insult to injury.
I am One Step Ahead Of You
If you feel that your boss is excavating problems to pull you in, stay a step ahead of her. Even before she assigns you something, try to understand your responsibilities and take up the work. Be mentally prepared and, it is always desirable to have a quality draft in hand.
Good Fences Make Good Neighbours
Even if your boss fails to respect boundaries, make sure that you are not like her. You know how it feels when someone acts as if there are no boundaries. Invest it in your life and practice.
Learn From The Past
While applying for another company, do thorough research to avoid falling into a bad boss labyrinth a second time. Establish relations with the starters of your target company and learn the workspace culture and employee-employer relations. Take care so that you do not appear creepy!
Coronavirus positive for lions
Asiatic Lion seeks the comfort of a shade in its enclosure at the Nehru Zoological Park as the temperatures are rising with the onset of summer in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Eight Asiatic lions at Hyderabad’s Nehru Zoological Park have tested positive for the deadly Coronavirus, perhaps the first known case of the human infecting the feline and making them sick in India.
Highly placed sources at the zoo told The Hindu that the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) informed the forest authorities over the phone that the RT-PCR tests of these big cats were positive. However, CCMB samples were collected from the animals concerned but it will take a few days to confirm.
The CCMB will carry out detailed investigation of the samples for genome sequencing to find out if the strain came from human beings or not.
The scientist cautioned the officials to take precautions and start the medication at the earliest. The zoo authorities are likely to conduct a CT Scan of the lions to know the impact of the infection on their lungs.
The Zoo Director and Curator Dr. Siddhanand Kukrety and VVL Subhadra Devi respectively did not respond to the repeated calls by this correspondent to deny or confirm the news officially.
However, another source on the 380-acre campus, which house more than 1,500 inmates, said that results from the CCMB will be submitted to Ms. Subhadra Devi in an hour or two, and to alert them the scientists have orally told the higher-up about the results.
“Yes, the lions were tested after displaying mild symptoms. As of now they are active and are doing well,” the officer said, adding that four male and four female big cats were housed in the 40-acre Safari area.
He said that on April 24, caretakers noticed that these big cats developed symptoms like dry cough, nasal discharge, and loss of appetite and soon alerted the veterinary team. Soon, the vets took oropharyngeal swab samples of the feline and sent them to CCMB, where the scientists are likely to do genome sequencing to find out if the strain came from human beings.
Currently, NZP, one of the biggest zoos in Asia, is closed for visitors as a precautionary measure. More than two dozen staffers at the zoo were tested positive for the virus.
Effective Time Management Techniques You Must Use
For you, being a member of this fast-moving world, there will be nothing like the time that wreaks mayhem in your brain. You might feel like twenty-four hours is not sufficient to work with efficiency and accuracy. You might feel highly stressed and exasperated, mostly worried about tomorrow and next week.
Having a night full of sweet dreams would be exotic to you. Also, forgetting things will be a common phenomenon in your life. Notwithstanding these stumbling blocks, an effective time management strategy is what you want. That is, you’ve to work smarter, not harder.

Best Time Management Techniques That You Must Use As a Recruiter
Keep a Handy To-do List
Whenever you get recruiting assignments, just note down everything one by one in a diary or on your device. There are only two golden rules- firstly, note everything in the same place and secondly, keep your device/notebook handy. You will have to refer to it anytime from anywhere.

Prioritising Need Over The Best
After creating a shabby to-do list having every single work mixed and jumbled up like an exasperating farrago, you now have to analyse and prioritise them. Your to-do list will be jumbled up like a maze. Keep four standards to analyse your to-do work, like:
- P1: Top priority
- P2: Secondary priority
- P3: Can be put-off, tertiary priority
- P4: Can be eliminated

The Time to Repair The Roof is When The Sun is Shining
After you prioritize your chores, plan how to execute them the next day. Always ensure that there is not more than five work in the P1 category. Every night, prioritise your work and make it ready-to-do for the next day. Likewise, every weekend, analyse the work that you’ve completed this week and what you’re planning to do the next week if any.
Intention Without Action is Useless
Make sure you do your work according to your plans and priorities. The top priority ones shall be done as soon as possible and it shall be the first work you do the next day. After completing the P1 activities, proceed to do the P2. If you have any time left to do the P3, then complete it one by one according to the internal order of precedence. Finally, you can eliminate the P4 activities.

Final Thoughts
It’s difficult to plan and is more difficult to implement. However, if you do your work in a fix amidst confusions and uncertainties, the result will be catastrophic. More and more sleepless nights with more and more forgetting episodes will juggle your life.
By making an effective to-do list and by prioritising and proper planning, you will be able to do wonders. With the list in your hand, you can always be satisfied with the work you have done and be certain about the work you do the next day. You can sleep in peace and remember everything you have to do. If you use a planning app like Todoist or Evernote, you will get notifications for the work to be done.
Finally, after following these four steps- Listing, Planning, Prioritising and Implementing; you can efficiently and effectively manage the twenty-four hours you have.
MENTAL HEALTH
Mental illnesses should not be thought of any differently from physical illnesses. In fact, I believe the two are inseparable. Because the whole body is connected and interwoven, the two cannot be separated. The brain is an organ just like everything else in the body and can be hurt like everything else. When the brain is ill, it is not isolated in just the brain, but instead affects the whole body and the overall wellness.
The stigma surrounding mental illness keeps people from getting the help they need to get better and causes them to hide their pain.
Mental health is important. It impacts how we feel, think, and behave each day. Our mental health also contributes to our decision making, problem solving, how we deal with stress, and how we can relate to others in our lives. That’s why, we have to always care about our own mental health.
Current research clearly identifies the importance of mental health to learning, as well as to students‘ social and emotional development. Students who experience positive mental health are resilient and better able to learn, achieve success, and build healthy relationships.
An emotionally fit person will always feel vibrant and truly alive and will easily manage emotionally difficult situations.
Mental illness does not mean that you’re going crazy, and one should not be ashamed of it. Our society needs to change its perception of mental illness or disorder. Mental illness is the instability of one’s health, which includes changes in emotion, abnormal thinking and behaviour
Receiving help is the most important thing anyone can do for themselves. But unfortunately, the stigma keeps people from getting help. Mental illness should not be something to be ashamed about or thought of differently. When mental illness is treated equally to other illnesses, more people will have the courage to get help and better their lives.
We need to understand that being both physically and emotionally fit is the key to success in all aspects of life. Children should be educated about the importance of mental health, which would help them in breaking the stereotypes around mental health which today’s society has created.

A Year Into the Pandemic
Remember 2020? When the whole world was threatened by a terrible virus outbreak and nation-wide lockdown had to be imposed in many countries. When the healthcare infrastructure was crumbling under the load of increasing critical patients and the only way out of this was to stay at home, wear a mask and practice social distancing?
Well, these aren’t distant memories, because 2021 has brought another wave of Covid-19, this time much more severe and deadly. The symptoms have drastically changed owing to a mutated strain, and detection of the virus has become a lot more harder. The statistics and numbers look so vague to us, until this virus reaches our doorstep and infects someone we know.
Schools and colleges have been shut down, and studying has taken a new form through virtual platforms. Some are getting the chance to spend time with their family. Some are witnessing losses in business. Some are looking for a way out of poverty, since the pandemic destroyed their only source of livelihood. Some are suffering from this deadly virus and some are losing their dear and loved ones. This pandemic taught something new to every person and brought out different emotions from everyone.
Did we ever imagine that something as microscopic as a virus could lead to so many losses in the world? That a ‘normal viral infection’ could bring humanity down to its knees, and make us realize that this is a fight for survival. That we aren’t alone on this planet, we just inhabit this planet like many others.
This lockdown allowed nature to flourish. Animals reclaimed what was theirs and the sky could finally shed its true light, free from all the smoke and chemicals. Humans were silent and earth was blooming with colors again. Birds were surprised, yet happy, for how a bustling city had been turned into a silent place.
We have been thinking that this pandemic is a new enemy that mankind has to fight against, but the real enemy, right from the start has just been us. The wars that we have started, the violence that has been ravaging across different parts of the world and is now prevalent in almost every city.
We trust the government, the people-in-charge to help make things better. To help get things back to normal. Well, I want normal too. I want that normal where people live in peace and harmony, and help the world grow. I want that normal where we co-exist with nature and give back to the planet. I want that normal where soldiers and don’t die at the border every day.
How can can the world go back to ‘normal’ and still possess pain and cruelty?
It’s disturbing that bloodshed and barbarism has become so common. We know everything happening around the world, but now choose to view these incidents politically. Accusingly. Blindly.
It’s been a year into this pandemic, but it’s been decades since we managed to bring about any changes. With such little progress and so many mistakes, it feels like time flew away and now it’s too late for us to catch it.
Covid-19
Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). A novel coronavirus (nCoV) is a new strain that has not been previously identified in humans.” This means that, in general, the human population has no acquired immunity to the new coronavirus and while most people who contract the virus will experience no or mild symptoms, some people will develop severe or even life-threatening symptoms.
The coronavirus — labeled as COVID-19 by WHO — was first identified in the city of Wuhan in the Hubei province of China in December. Since it first emerged in China, COVID-19 has spread around the world and has now been identified in at least 157 countries. Researchers suspect the virus originated in an animal population – likely bats – and was transferred to humans via a secondary source. Symptoms include respiratory issues, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. In more severe cases, infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure, and can even be fatal.
How can you prevent the spread of coronavirus and avoid infection? WHO recommends washing your hands regularly; covering your mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing; and cooking meat and eggs thoroughly. Most officials are recommending that people with symptoms stay home and self-isolate to avoid spreading the virus to others. In many countries, governments and medical communities have advised all people – with or without symptoms – to stay home and avoid large gatherings to prevent the spread of the disease, and some countries are temporarily shutting down schools and universities, as well as other facilities and restricting travel.
These measures are part of a widespread effort to slow and reduce the spread of the virus so that healthcare systems can provide thorough treatment and allow researchers, medical professionals, and government officials time to develop treatments and implement public health protocols. To best “flatten the curve” — a graphical representation of reducing the exponential spread of the virus — officials are urging people to stay at home.

BE FEARLESS
we spend a lot of time and energy to make sure that our body is comfortable. Do we also spend time to make sure that our existence is comfortable?
In today’s time, where people are trying to scare and manipulate each other away from peace by using fear, do we realise what fear does to people? Fear takes away the vision of a human being and makes it narrow.
It becomes important not to be influenced by that fear because there is something that is so incredible inside each one of us and that is the courage to see beyond that fear, to see beyond that time and to understand that, as human beings, we have the possibility of being able to be fearless and be in peace.

Iran won’t be able to vote in the UN

Iran and the Central African Republic(CAR) both lose their voting rights in the 193-member general assembly. The reason was given that they didn’t pay their dues.
United Nations headquartered in New York, needs fund for its functioning as it does not have any source of income of its own. It receives its budget from its 193 member countries. Overall 195 countries are part of the U.N. but 2 countries that are non-member observer states: the Vatican city and the state of Palestine do not provide funds to the U.N. Iran, on the other hand, hadn’t paid any money to the UN for the past few years. So the UN decided to suspend the voting rights of Iran.
The irony here is Iran has money to fund various militant groups in its neighbourhood but does not have money to provide fund to the UN.
According to the secretary-general’s letter, the minimum payments needed to restore voting rights are $16,251,298 for Iran and $29,395 for the Central African Republic.
Irans response

Iran’s foreign minister ‘Javad Zarif’ has put on his tweet on Twitter saying that “we are a victim of US sanctions, they called it US economic terrorism and it’s preventing them from paying off dues of UN. He also stated that Iran is unable to pay for the food they eat.
In a statement released by the ministry of foreign affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, they also stated that Iran is fully committed to fulfilling the financial obligations to the UN and will continue to make every effort to settle the arrears in the payment of its financial contribution to the UN and other international organisations as soon as the underlying imposed condition, i.e the US unlawful unilateral coercive measures, is removed.
So it seems until Joe Biden withdraws sanctions from Iran, Iran won’t be able to vote in the U.N.
A MAN’S FURRY BEST FRIEND
Dog has always been known as the best friend of humans from times unknown.
“DOGS MAY BE JUST A PART OF OUR LIVES, BUT FOR THEM WE ARE THEIR WHOLE WORLD”
anonymous

Why are they called the “best friend” when the notion of being a best friend comes with many connotations these days? The concept of being there for a person in the time of needs is the most important concept and characteristic of a best friend.
Though our furry friends do not offer advice in matters as such the listening ears is all we need most of the time, especially without any judgement. It doesn’t matter whether it is a boy or girl, they are always there for us, with the least idea of what we are talking. Regardless of the context, dogs are scientifically proven to know how we feel. We may have seen cute videos where puppies offering their favourite toys to their owners because they were feeling sad or crying. It is not a coincidence. They can feel the sadness, worry or anxiety from our bodies and they try their level best to console us. It their brain, it is their toy that makes them happy, so that ought to make us happy, right?
This is the exact reason why dogs are specially trained to be service animals. Now, when we think of service dogs, we always think of cute dogs helping their blind owners/trainers. Though as great that is, that isn’t all. Dogs can be trained to help socially anxious people, provide comfort to children who are mentally ill, detect low blood sugar levels in our body and alert us etc. In the police training, they are trained to detect the accused from the body odour and type of energy radiating from a person.
The sad part is, after all the service years, of say, 8 to 9 years at an average, their senses wind down, naturally due to old age. It is at this time when they need the most care, because they don’t know anything other than what they have been trained. So finding homes for them after their retirement is very important, because we shouldn’t make them feel useless after all the years of service they’ve put.
Another thing we have to learn from them is to love unconditionally. Try scolding your dog for being naughty, they would definitely feel bad and try to cheer you up and make up for whatever they did. That is their whole intention, to make you happy. There are many movies and novels that insist and instil the purpose of dogs in our lives but if you ask for recommendations, the novel series of “Dog’s Promise” by W. Bruce Cameron which has also been adapted into beautiful motion pictures ought to touch your hearts. Especially the book, “ A Dog’s Purpose” takes us through different lives of a same dog until it fulfils its purpose on this earth in the most aesthetic way possible.
They say, “Dogs may be just a part of your life, but for them, you’re their whole world.” Every other animals are equally important for the earth to be balanced, but dogs, they have a special purpose, to provide happiness to us, humans.

Comparison between Covaxin and covildshild

The COVID-19 vaccination drive has already begun in India, and many people are still unaware of how the two vaccines – Covaxin and Covishield – are different from each other.
The third phase began on April 1, in which people over the age of 18 can take life-saving shots.
Currently, the government hasn’t allowed people to decide which vaccine they want to get, but the result of the first phase clearly suggests that both the vaccines being inoculated in India are safe and effective.
Covaxin vs Covishield – Which one is better?
Well, we have compiled all the information to give you a better understanding of the formulation and every other detail about the vaccine you are going to get to stay safe from the Coronavirus. Have a look –
Developer
Covaxin has been developed by Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech International Ltd in association with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the National Institute of Virology (NIV).
Covishield has been developed by the Oxford-AstraZeneca and is being manufactured by the Serum Institute of India (SII).
Type of Vaccine
Covaxin is an inactivated viral vaccine. This vaccine is developed with Whole-Virion Inactivated Vero Cell-derived technology. They contain inactivated viruses, which can not infect a person but still can teach the immune system to prepare a defence mechanism against the active virus.
These conventional vaccines have been in use for decades now. There are vaccines for some other diseases as well which are made using the same technology. These diseases are –
- Seasonal influenza
- Rabies
- Polio
- Pertussis, and
- Japanese encephalitis
Covishield has been prepared using the viral vector platform which is a totally different technology.
A chimpanzee adenovirus – ChAdOx1 – has been modified to enable it to carry the COVID-19 spike protein into the cells of humans. Well, this cold virus is basically incapable of infecting the receiver but can very well teach the immune system to prepare a mechanism against such viruses.
The exact technology was used to prepare vaccines for viruses like Ebola.
Doses
There is no difference between the two vaccines in terms of dosage. Both of them are administered as 0.5ml in the upper arm region.
But, the dosing schedule for both vaccines however varies. The second dose of Covaxin is scheduled after 4-6 weeks after the first dose, while for Covishield vaccines it is 84 days or 12-16 weeks after the first dose.
Storage Guidelines
Both Covishield and Covaxin can be stored at 2-8 degrees Centigrade, which is a household refrigerator temperature. This makes both the vaccines most suited for Indian conditions as most of the vaccines here are kept at the same temperature range.
This also makes the transportation and storage of both vaccines easier.
Efficacy
Both the vaccines have shown more than satisfactory results ever since the inoculation started in India.
The effectiveness of the Covishield vaccine is nearly 90% as per the global reports and Covaxin’s 81% according to interim 3rd phase trial results.
Side effects
After getting vaccinated, you may experience pain at the site of injection. Some people may also experience side effects such as headache, joint pain, and may feel feverish. These side effects do not persist for long and generally go within a day or two.
Approvals
Covaxin has currently been granted approval for emergency restricted use, while Covishield has been allowed for restricted use in emergency situations that can potentially prevent coronavirus infection in people aged 18 years and above.
Covaxin has begun its clinical trial in children aged above 2 years of age.
However, the Drugs Controller General of India (DGCI) has not given a market use authorization clearance to any of the vaccines till now.
Ocean Acidification: A Threat to Marine life
“No aquarium, no tank in a marine land, however spacious it may be, can begin to duplicate the conditions of the sea. And no dolphin who inhabits one of those aquariums or one of those aquariums or one those marine lands can be considered as normal”- Jacques Yves Cousteau
The ocean is known to absorb about 30 percent of the carbon dioxide present in the atmosphere. The carbon dioxide released in the atmosphere comes from various sources naturally for example respiration plants and animals, weathering of carbonate rocks, etc. However, various human activities are also there which are responsible for increased carbon dioxide emission in the atmosphere such as burning fossil fuel and forests and deforestation.
Now when the levels of atmospheric CO2 increase, the amounts of CO2 absorbed by the ocean also increases. It has been observed that since the advent of the industrial revolution, due to human activities the concentration of CO2 has been increased in the oceans and seas.
What is ocean Acidification exactly?
According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, ocean acidification refers to a reduction in the pH of the ocean over an extended period, caused primarily by the uptake of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
After the industrial revolution, studies show that the pH of the ocean water has fallen by 0.1 pH units which equivalent to approximately a 30 percent increase in acidity.
This increased amount of carbon dioxide which is absorbed by the sea and ocean results in the occurrence of series of a chemical reactions. This chemical reaction releases a high amount of hydrogen ion concentration. When the concentration of hydrogen ion (H+) increases, the acidity of seawater increases, and carbonate ions (HCO3-) decreases.
How does ocean acidification affect marine life?
Carbonate ions are crucial building blocks of seashells and coral skeleton. When the carbonate ions in seawater decrease, the ability to build and maintain these shells and corals also decreases and calcifying becomes difficult for shell-builder organisms like oysters, sea urchins, deep-sea corals and calcareous planktons as the shells starts to dissolve due to the acidity.
The non-calcifying organisms are also affected. Certain fishes are not able to detect their predators in more acidic water. This disturbs the prey-predator population which in turn disturbs the ecology.
The pteropods commonly known as ‘sea butterflies’ are tiny sea snails about the size of a pea. Like every other organism, these pteropods are also an important part of the food chain and are eaten by wide-ranging organisms from krill to whales. When the shells of these pteropods start to dissolve due to acidity, this imposes a threat to other marine life too as they are dependent on these pteropods for nutrition.
A report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change finds that 99 percent of the world’s warm-water coral reefs could disappear if global average temperatures rise 2°C or more above pre-industrial levels.
Various species of diatoms lose their content of biogenic silica as a result of ocean acidification.
How to limit ocean acidification?
The increased amounts of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere are changing the chemistry of the ocean, making it more and more acidic and harming shellfish and other marine life.
The only way to reduce ocean acidification is to act on climate change. The need of the hour is to implement solutions to reduce the use and burning of fossil fuels. The marine ecosystems can only be saved if activities like fossil fuel burning, forest fires, and deforestation are controlled.

Use of Biotechnology in Agriculture
Biotechnology is the application based on various scientific techniques which are used to alter and improve species of plants, animals, and microorganisms and enhance their commercial value.
When the applications biotechnology is used in the field of agriculture its is called Agricultural Biotechnology. Originally agricultural biotechnology came into the picture when the importance of selection and breeding of organisms was known to people. An example of traditional agricultural biotechnology is the development of disease-resistant varieties of wheat made by cross-breeding different types of wheat varieties until the desired disease-resistant wheat variety was found.
Genetic engineering and GMOs
When the field of molecular biology advanced in the 1970s, scientists found that different genetic materials found in different organisms like DNA and RNA can be altered. So, it was observed that when scientists altered the chemistry of genetic material (DNA/RNA) and transferred it into a host organism, the desired product was obtained or the phenotype of the organism changed. This technique is called genetic engineering. Today this technology has a place where scientists can obtain different genes from different organisms like plants, animals, bacteria, viruses, or fungi and transfer those genes to another organism.
The primary use of biotechnology in agriculture is to increase food production through genetically engineered crop-based agriculture. But the question is food production can be increased with help of agrochemicals (fertilizers and pesticides) then why employ genetic engineering?
For farmers in the developing world agrochemicals are often too expensive and also the existing varieties are not able to produce high yield through conventional breeding. Therefore, genetic engineering is the way by which maximum yield can be produced.
Now, what are GMOs? Well, GMOs are simply the product of genetic engineering. Plants, bacteria, fungi, and animals whose genes have been altered to make them more useful are called Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO).
What are the advantages of GMOs in agriculture?
1. Enhanced tolerance
Crops are made more tolerant to abiotic stresses such as drought, cold, heat, acidity, salinity, etc.
2. Reduced reliance on agrochemicals
Plants are made in such a way that the reliance on chemical pesticides is reduced. This can be done by creating pest-resistant crops. One of the examples of pest-resistant plants is Bt cotton.
3. Reduced post-harvest loss
The gas hormone called ethylene is involved in the regulation of fruit ripening. This ripening can be slowed down by blocking or reducing ethylene production. This gives the fruits a longer-shelf life and the chances of spoilage are reduced.
4. Nutrient quality
The nutritional value of food is enhanced using GMOs. These are produced by introducing genes involved in the metabolism of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. One of the very renowned examples will be of the ‘Golden rice’ which is enriched in pro-vitamin.
There are many other examples of application plant genetic engineering which are:
-
Disease resistant plants
-
Resistance to fungal and bacterial infections
-
Improved seed protein quality
-
Molecular farming
-
Edible vaccines
-
Development of blue roses
-
Development of tear-less onions, caffeine-free coffee, and low nicotine tobacco.
Biosafety
GM crops are rapidly becoming a part of agriculture throughout the world because of their contribution to increasing crop productivity and global food, feed, and fibre security. However, there are some issues related to the public acceptance of transgenic crops.
The safety of GM crops cannot be fully ensured for human and animal consumption as GM food may cause allergenicity and toxicity.
The effect which GM crops can have on the environment and biodiversity is a question. Moreover, GM crops can affect non-target and beneficial insects or microbes.
There can be cases in which the transgene may escape through pollen to related plant species and may cause the development of superweed.
The GM crops may lead to a change in the evolutionary pattern.
Nevertheless, proper assessment of the risks associated with transgenics for plants is important before they are released. Foods made from GMOs must be shown safe or safer than their traditional counterparts before they are released for public use. In general, what scientist believe is that genetic engineering is the ‘technology that can efficiently solve various human problems, especially related to hunger and disease,

Agriculture
Agriculture
Agriculture plays a crucial role in the entire life of a given economy . Agriculture is the backbone of the economic system of a given country. In addition to providing food and raw material agricultural also provide employment opportunities to a very large percentage of the population .The main source of raw material to major industries such as cotton and jute fibre.as well as non-edible oils in agriculture . moreover many other industries such as processing of fruits as well as vegetables and rice husking get their raw material for agriculture . agriculture also provide wood for construction and paper industry.
Agriculture plays a significant role to both human and economy of a nation this to say it is the backbone of a nation in addition to providing food and raw material it also provides employment opportunities to very large percentage of the population . Agriculture is important not only for supply food but also for the provision of Raw material.Agricultue is the backbone of economic system in given country.

The Difference Between Yes and No
The words “yes” and “no” get used in comparison to each other so often that it feels like they carry equal weight in conversation. In reality, they are not just opposite in meaning, but of entirely different magnitudes in commitment.
When you say no, you are only saying no to one option. When you say yes, you are saying no to every other option.
I like how the economist Tim Harford put it, “Every time we say yes to a request, we are also saying no to anything else we might accomplish with the time.” Once you have committed to something, you have already decided how that future block of time will be spent.
In other words, saying no saves you time in the future. Saying yes costs you time in the future. No is a form of time credit. You retain the ability to spend your future time however you want. Yes is a form of time debt. You have to pay back your commitment at some point.
No is a decision. Yes is a responsibility.
“WAYS OF MAINTAINING BRAIN HEALTH AT EVERY AGE “
“WAYS OF MAINTAINING BRAIN HEALTH AT EVERY AGE ”
The mind is the most precious organ of the body that needs much care. It should not be wasted rather maintaining its proper health must be the necessary part. The brain is the most important part in comparison to other organs because all other parts are controlled by the brain and it even keeps working while you are asleep. Due to this fact, the brain’s extraordinary working requires nutritional support and also extra care for the maintenance. Here are some ways of maintaining brain health to boost the brain’s cognitive functioning and keep it healthy:
Exercise daily
One who does daily exercise always has greater brain volume and the capability of better thinking and memory skills. According to the research, the people who vigorously exercise are 10 years younger than their age. It happens because of the increase of blood flow to the brain that occurs due to physical activities. Exercise also helps in generating new neurons in the brain area where memory and learning get stored and which loses its capacity as life progresses. If exercise is started from early life – like from the teenage – one remains younger and healthy eve in the old life. The research done so far shows many benefits of exercise for the brain.
Meditation
Meditation is the best way to calm the mind also it helps from all the perspectives of psychologically. It controls the fear and feeling of anxiety. Moreover, meditation helps when the brain is thinking negatively and the mind goes from thought to thought that is quite distressing. To have a positive approach to life and let the brain work in the right direction do daily meditation and yoga. This helps in keeping the brain work perfectly and the concentration level increases too.
Take sound sleep
The brain keeps on working even while sleeping. It keeps on bringing back memories and wanders into unconscious thoughts. Taking less sleep or sleep deprivation always results in reducing mental health. It worsens the cognitive function and decreases the level of learning and creating thinking. At least 6-8 hours of sleep must be taken to keep the brain healthy. Sleep deprivation and insomnia are very destructive and those who remain active and concentrated are those with fresh minds and sound sleep.
Practice creativity before sleeping
Practicing some creatively is also among ways of maintaining brain health. If you have writing skills then do write something or if you can paint, take a brush and canvas, and make something creative that comes in mind but, it should be done before going to bed because it yields great results. Complete your work and then take a sound sleep and see the difference when you wake up the next morning.
Take care of your brain by these two quick steps
Quit smoking: Quitting smoking reduces the risk of blood vessel diseases and chances of brain damage reduce.
Manage stress or depression: Simple but consistent stress leads to depression and depression becomes a disorder that leads to brain damage. Try to be relaxed and positive in every condition. Staying positive will reduce the level of stress and brain nerves will remain healthy.

“MOST IMPORTANT MEDICAL EQUIPMENT IN HOSPITALS”
“MOST IMPORTANT MEDICAL EQUIPMENT IN HOSPITALS”
Evolution in technology is helping mankind in every walk of life. The latest technology in the medical field has revolutionized the whole healthcare system. These new medical technologies guarantee better living standards by ensuring the best health of the human being. They help doctors in diagnosing an ailment and provide them with new important medical equipment to treat patients better.Anyone at any time can have a health issue like an accident, an injury, or disease. The treatment of a disease or health problems on time through the use of proper and latest medical technology/equipment can reduce the pain and suffering. Advanced medical equipment is therefore crucial in the treatment of the patients in the hospitals. The emergency department and all departments of the hospital should be equipped with all the necessary medical equipment to treat the patients on time like electronic monitoring systems, needles scissors and many other devices. The devices in hospitals should be latest and precise as any flaw in the device is not bearable. Also, to meet the standards of health, all medical tools or equipment should be sterilized after each use. Under the importance of the medical equipment, the most common medical equipment is briefly introduced here as the importance of specialized equipment in the health care industry can’t be neglected.
MEDICAL VENTILATORS:
Medical ventilators help the human body to take breathe as these devices make possible to move breathable air in and out of the lungs. This machine ensures an equal supply of oxygen in the whole human body. This device is compulsory for the intensive care unit of the hospital.
DEFIBRILLATORS:
Defibrillators are used in life-threatening circumstances. The most common life-threating circumstances are cardiac arrhythmias or tachycardia. Defibrillators play an essential role to restore the rhythm of the heart or it can be said that it maintains the heart rate of the human body. Thus, this medical equipment saves one’s life. Hence, it’s the most essential tool for the hospitals so hospitals should maintain the backup of this medical tool.
ECG MACHINES:
ECG machines monitor the overall rhythm of the heart in the human body. It records the electrical activity of the heart for a specific period. Therefore, doctors or health care providers will be able to observe the stability of the heart in the human body. Therefore, ECG machines are among the most important medical equipment in a hospital.
DIALYSIS MACHINES:
Dialysis machines are used to remove the extra toxins from the blood. People who have damaged kidneys have to go through the process of dialysis on a regular basis. This dialysis process is known as renal replacement therapy and its only possible through dialysis machines.
STERILIZERS:
Sterilizers are most essential medical equipment as it maintains the hygienic condition in the hospitals. Sterilizers kill all the microbes. The most common form of microbes are fungi, bacteria, viruses, and spores. These microbes may affect the disease in the human body or even cause an infection in the human body. So, the use of sterilizers keeps the medical equipment or tools clean and keeps the human body away from germs.

Casual racism in India
Racism against Indians living in the northeastern region has been increasing day by day and is an issue of concern. States like Assam, Nagaland, Mizoram, and others surrounding it are the main ones to be part of the northeast.
Recently, a Youtuber even got arrested for allegedly “defaming” the people of Andhra Pradesh and accusing them of being Chinese. While this was a good step and start, we are all aware of how casually the people of northeast India are called slangs like “Ch*nki”, “momo” etc. and no action is taken against them because it is so very engraved in our society now, that practicing this is not an offense. We must not forget how many spectacular pieces of art the north Indian part has contributed to India and continues to do so even now.
The simple answer to this is- The mentality. It’s not a big revelation that casual racism is not faced only by the northeastern people but by all the people belonging to different and seemingly “unconventional” parts of India. It comes out that our Indian society likes to put people into boxes and parts according to their skin color and way of living.

When I look around myself, I usually have this realization that most people are not even aware of the fact that using slangs and treating them differently is, in fact, wrong, which pilots us to our first point –
- Awareness- This is the most obvious but crucial point. People need to know that THIS is wrong in the first place. And I know that it is better said than done, but, at this point of time, even the so-called “progressive youth” of India is simply not ready to take up this topic into talks. “Black lives matter” was in the news rigorously for so long, as it should have been. But in my opinion, we should focus on making things right in our country first.
- Better representation in the media and government- This is absolutely no diversity when it comes to people from differing communities being recruited in the mainstream media and the parliament. This will even be a catalyst in achieving a society and country where decisions are made equally in the favor of all communities.
- Highlighting the achievements- The media plays a very big role in this one. We need to show our people that people from the northeast contribute a lot to the potency of India as a country.
- Better job opportunities and laws for all Although it’s nice to see that small steps have started to be taken by our government now, we all know that we still have a very long way to go to attain utter equality in all the fields.
- Speaking up -This point is valid for any kind of prejudice you witness in your life and can make the biggest change ever. Don’t be a standbyer when someone is being mistreated in this world because hashtags can’t save the world, only we can.
Ultimately, We are the change that we seek in this world.
Today, China is trying its best to gradually break India apart and snatch it’s parts little by little. And will Indians be able to survive this if they make it easier for China to tear us apart by disintegrating themselves on the basis of their race and language and whatnot? I wish I could say ‘yes’ to this question right now.

In macroeconomic level, when there is excess of aggregate demand over aggregate supply at a situation of full employment, the gap of difference is called the inflationary gap. The terms might be confusing and thus are explained below.
Aggregate demand is the total demand of all final goods and services produced in an economy. It can also be said defined as the total quantity of money that all sectors of an economy are willing to spend on the purchase of goods and services at a given period. Aggregate demand consists of expenditures relates to consumption, investment by firms, purchase of goods and services by the government and finally the net exports( difference of imports from exports). The aggregate demand curve does not start from origin because it cannot begin from value zero. It is because even at zero level of income, there is some level of consumption, known as autonomous consumption. Just because we do not receive income doesn’t mean we don’t eat. We borrow money and still have some consumption level. Thus there is still expenditure on consumption and aggregate demand curve can never start from origin(0,0).
Aggregate supply is the money value of the total output available in the economy for purchase during a given period. Aggregate supply also represents the national income of a country.
Full employment is a situation where all those able bodied persons who are willing to work at the existing wage rate, are actually employed( meaning no unemployment in an economy).
As we move on to inflation. How does it actually occur?
In layman terms, when there is increased demand for a good or service than the supply, it leads to an increase in the price of the commodity or service as consumers are willing to pay more to obtain it. Thus the increasing prices lead to inflation.
The concept of inflationary gap is explained with a graph:

Aggregate demand curve is synonymous to total or aggregate expenditure or price and is thus taken on the Y-axis. Aggregate supply curve is synonymous to total income or total output which taken in the X-axis.
At the level of full employment, the aggregate supply is a 45 degree line. The aggregate demand curve is represented as AD0. Both these curves intersect at point A which is said to be an equilibrium point.
An equilibrium point in layman terms it is the point at which the the market forces balance or equate. It is a state of rest. It literally means :
Aggregate demand = Aggregate supply, at a given price and quantity.
A note to the reader, the price and quantity at the point of equilibrium is the equilibrium price and equilibrium quantity respectively.
In case of inflation, aggregate demand>aggregate supply.
As I said above, price and aggregate demand are synonyms. When is an increase in price, it implies an increase in aggregate demand. So, excess of aggregate demand pushes the curve upwards. So there is a shift in the position of the demand curve. The demand curve shifts from AD0 TO AD1. We arrive at the new demand curve. The new equilibrium point is at E.
So Aggregate demand = Aggregate supply at the equilibrium point E where the new equilibrium price and quantity are higher than the old ones.
In the graph we can clearly see gap maintained between the two demand curves and the gap is constant throughout. The inflationary gap thus lies between the new and old aggregate demand curves.

June 05-world environment day

World Environment Day (WED) is celebrated annually on 5 June and is the United Nations’ principal vehicle for encouraging awareness and action for the protection of the environment. First held in 1974, it has been a platform for raising awareness on environmental issue such as marine pollution, human overpopulation, global warming, sustainable consumption and wildlife crime. World Environment Day is a global platform for public outreach, with participation from over 143 countries annually. Each year, the program has provided a theme and forum for businesses, non government organizations, communities, governments and celebrities to advocate environmental causes.
The environment provides us with essential resources to sustain life on Earth. All living things, including water, air, soil, and vegetation form the environment. However, there has been an increase in the contamination and pollution of these precious resources. Trees cut down; soil erosion occurs, water bodies, and the air filled with pollutants. It is essential to spread awareness and preserve such resources for the present and future generations.
World Environment Day is one such initiative towards protecting the environment and celebrated across the globe. It is such an initiative to spread awareness about the conservation and preservation of the environment. Celebrated on June 5th every year, people from all places take part in doing their bit for the environment. World Environment Day is an initiative started by the United Nations as a part of the UN Environment Programme.
An Earth Anthem penned by poet Abhay K is sung to celebrate World Environment Day.
Our cosmic oasis, cosmic blue pearl
the most beautiful planet in the universe
all the continents and all the oceans
united we stand as flora and fauna
united we stand as species of one earth
different cultures, beliefs and ways
we are humans, the earth is our home
all the people and the nations of the world
all for one and one for all
united we unfurl the blue marble flag.
The anthem was launched in June 2013 on the occasion of the World Environment Day by Kapil Sibal and Shashi Tharoor, then Union Ministers of India, at a function organized by the Indian Council of Cultural Relations in New Delhi. It is supported by the global organization Habitat For Humanity.Above all, World Environment Day offers a global platform for inspiring positive change. It pushes for individuals to think about the way they consume; for businesses to develop greener models; for farmers and manufacturers to produce more sustainably; for governments to invest in repairing the environment; for educators to inspire students to take action; and for youth to build a greener future. This World Environment Day will kick off the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, a global mission to revive billions of hectares, from forests to farmlands, from the top of mountains to the depth of the sea.Only with healthy ecosystems can we enhance people’s livelihoods, counteract climate change and stop the collapse of biodiversity. For too long, we have been exploiting and destroying our planet’s ecosystems. Every three seconds, the world loses enough forest to cover a football pitch and over the last century we have destroyed half of our wetlands. As much as 50 per cent of our coral reefs have already been lost and up to 90 per cent of coral reefs could be lost by 2050, even if global warming is limited to an increase of 1.5°C.
Every World Environment Day is hosted by a different country, in which official celebrations take place, and this year’s host is Pakistan. The Government of Pakistan plans to expand and restore the country’s forests through a ‘10 Billion Tree Tsunami‘ spread over five years. The campaign includes restoring mangroves and forests, as well as planting trees in urban settings, including schools, colleges, public parks and green belts.

Every few years, the job requirements vary, and old jobs are phased out in favour of new jobs created by advancements in technology and infrastructure. As technology advances, the internet, machines, and automation are taking the world by storm; yet, there are many, many more future career prospects in India that will be opening their doors in the near future.
People frequently study and work toward a job that is currently in demand, but by the time they obtain their degrees or gain sufficient experience, the demand has shifted dramatically. In order to assist you in better preparing, we have created a list of the 10 future jobs that will be in demand in India.
So, without further ado, let’s get down to business with the list.
1. Cyber Security
With the growth of technology and the widespread use of the internet, more individuals than ever are accessing online services, raising the danger of cybercrime. Your data, including your communications, is not safe online unless you have the best cybersecurity. And cybercrime is on the rise, as is the demand for cybersecurity experts.
According to the National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM), India will have 10 lakh cybersecurity job vacancies by the end of 2021. Furthermore, according to Burning Glass Technologies Inc of the United States, there is a 12X increase in cybersecurity positions globally.
2. Digital Marketing
In today’s world, it’s safe to assume that marketing is one of the most important foundations of any business, especially with the shift in business from offline to online. As a result of this transition, the demand for Digital Marketers has increased significantly.
Even a small business owner is now attempting to sell their products online through various e-commerce websites and online marketplaces, and believe us when we say that with less than half of Indians having access to the internet, the market potential is enormous, and this number is constantly growing. The demand for digital marketers will increase as the number of individuals who use the internet expands.
Offline marketing is usually not measurable, but digital marketing is, and it boosts reach by a factor of ten. A savvy digital marketer should be familiar with web analytics, social networking platforms, search engine optimization and advertisements, e-mail marketing, and search engine algorithms.
A digital marketer can employ both sponsored and organic media to drive users.
Digital marketing has grown tremendously in recent years, to the point where it is expected to generate over 20 lakh jobs in India by 2021, making it one of the most promising career opportunities in India for 2021.
3. Data Scientist
Not only in India, but all throughout the world, data scientists are in high demand. Users are more ready to contribute their data than ever before, necessitating the hiring of data scientists.
A data scientist is in charge of not only finding but also analysing the data needed to start and grow a company. Previously, only behemoths like Amazon, Google, Facebook, and financial institutions would show off their customers’ and potential users’ data, but now every company understands the importance of using consumer data to improve their products and services.
As a result, Data Scientists are becoming a viable future career option in India.
4. Dietician
Although the urge to enhance one’s health and lifestyle has recently gained in popularity, qualified professional dieticians are more difficult to come by than one may expect. Dieticians, often known as nutritionists, are professionals who have studied the human body and nutrition and can design a diet plan that is tailored to your needs.
Many people have probably seen Aamir Khan’s Dangal transformation video, in which he argues that you can work out at the gym for hours a day but still not achieve the results you desire if your diet isn’t ideal.
Dieticians are in high demand as a result of the growing desire to keep in shape and enhance one’s health, making it one of India’s most promising future occupations
5. Robotic Engineer
Robots will have replaced over 30% of jobs currently performed by humans by 2025, according to Gartner, a global research and consulting business based in the United States. By 2030, according to Ray Kurzweil, Google’s Director of Engineering, human thinking will be hybrid, integrating biological and artificial intelligence.
Even while India lags behind the developed world, it is not far behind; many of the country’s start-ups are primarily focused on robotics and robotic technology development. Robotic engineering will undoubtedly be one of, if not the best, future vocations in India and around the world!
Robots have taken over a variety of dangerous jobs in the defence, nuclear, and even space industries, such as the drones that various militaries use for surveillance and even terrorist strikes. Furthermore, the robots industry is predicted to reach a market capitalization of $ 46 billion by the end of this year
6. Environment Management
Every problem in India is tackled with a new reform that creates new job opportunities in the future; this is the case with the “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.” The demand for environmentalists has risen dramatically as India strives to address its pollution crisis.
Individuals, organisations, and even governments from all over the world are inventing innovative ways to cut carbon emissions and implement renewable energy sources as the world pulls together to combat the growing issue of global warming.
This is where environmentalists come in, devising plans and demonstrating how they may be carried out to resolve environmental challenges. By 2022, the Indian government wants to increase solar energy production by 500 percent, from 20 GW to 100 GW. Wind energy, meanwhile, would grow by roughly 270 percent, from 22.4 GW to 60 GW.
Wind and solar energy projects will produce 2 lakh and 10 lakh jobs, respectively, according to India’s Council on Energy, Environment, and Water (CEEW) and the National Resource Defense Council (NRDC).
7. Event Manager
With life getting so hectic as it is, and individuals trying to maintain a social image, they want their events to be opulent but without devoting a lot of effort to planning and executing them. This is where event planners come in; they can handle anything from a modest birthday party to Olympic-level events.
As a result, this is the career that has witnessed the most development in recent years. They have negotiation abilities in addition to management, communication, creativity, and budgetary expertise, which makes your life easier. An event organiser knows where to find items at a good price and who can get things done.
They take care of everything from the start of the event until the visitors leave, and they make a lot of money doing it since people are prepared to pay money to avoid having to do it all themselves, making it another one of India’s future job chances.
8. Marriage Counselor
Consider when your parents married, and even after such a long marriage filled with fights and other issues, they are still together. However, according to a report by a leading news agency, India’s divorce rate increased by 16 percent between 1990 and 2017. (from 28 percent to 44 percent ). According to Facebook data, there were over 6 lakh persons on Facebook with the relationship status Divorced up to 2016, with over 1 lakh of them being from India.
Individuals nowadays have become accustomed to quitting when things do not work out; this is not to mean that someone is wrong in quitting; rather, what we are attempting to express is that people do not strive to keep to their commitments and simply quit. As the number of divorces in India rises, so does the demand for marriage counsellors.
Consider your most recent relationship that ended in a breakup, then consider a divorce, and consider how much more there is to consider when there is a child involved. There’s victimisation, anxiety, sadness, and other issues.
A marriage counsellor works with the couple one-on-one to try to tackle the underlying problems. They even involve the couple’s families if necessary, and in doing so, they earn a lot of money. This is one of the future jobs in India that one should consider
9. Interior Designer
If you take a deeper look at this occupation, you will notice that it has promise in practically every new household. Because the majority of nuclear families have both members working, there is little time set aside for the stressful and time-consuming task of designing your own home, let alone purchasing all of the furniture and antiques.
Plus, with the tendency toward flats rather than bungalows, you’ll need to maximise the space you have while keeping it open and clutter-free. This is where interior designers come in; not only should they have a high design quotient, but they should also be familiar with traditional architecture techniques such as Vastu Shastra and other religious architecture.
With the majority of people being forced to relocate in quest of a higher standard of living and employment, the demand for interior designers will only grow in the coming years, making it one of the greatest future professions in India.
10. Financial Planner
Finance is something that a person wants to be taken care of regardless of how the economy is performing; if the economy is performing well, you want to invest to maximise your profits; if the economy is performing poorly, you want to invest where your money is secure.
This is where financial planners come in; individuals of all economic levels require financial planners, and this job has been creating jobs in India for a long time and will continue to do so in the future.
A qualified financial planner will devise the most feasible strategy for you to follow, one that involves the fewest risks and yields the best results based on your risk tolerance. A smart financial planner will be able to make money for you without you having to work for it.

People’s participation in environment conservation

It starts from ‘US’
The famous Chipko movement is a tale that every child in India knows about. It’s a story of real life heroes who were ready to compromise their lives to protect Mother Nature. A similar movement called Apikko movement was led in South India with the same pious intentions. Nature is revered in India and it forms an integral part of our religious and cultural beliefs. Sadly today that knowledge vanished in thin air and the unsustainable lifestyle, in an urge to mimic the west blindly took a heavy toll on our environment. It all started way back in 1760s when industrial revolution saw a sunrise. Since then humanity committed many mistakes, few of them even irreversible. However soon we realised the effects of global warming and climate change. Scientific evidence supported our ‘theory of doom’. Today we stand at a crossroads where we can either try to eliminate the adverse effects of climate change or leave our world without hope for the generation next.
Governments are trying to do what they do best that is, make policies, debate, invest in green projects. This lip service and paperwork cannot change the situation. It will take the force of every last human that breathes the air, quenches the thirst for water from nature or just exist. This fact is understood by children who have become eco-warriors. Few names in the Hall of Fame include Greta Thunberg from Sweden, Ridhima Pandey from India and many others. They all made a clarion call for the governments to come together as well as people to take a pledge to act sustainably.
People’s participation in environmental restoration has many success stories. Beej bachao andolan of Tehri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand, Silent valley movement and Narmada Bachao Andolan and other famous movements that saw popular participation of people.
Principle 10 of the Rio declaration recognises public participation. It states that environmental issues are best handled with participation of all concerned citizens, at the relevant level. It encourages states to facilitate and encourage public awareness and participation by making information widely available. Effective access to judicial and administrative proceedings, including redress and remedy shall be provided.
Environmental issues are closely linked to the rights of indigenous people or the tribal population. As a citizen they have right to live in a healthy environment under article 21 of the constitution of India and as indigenous people they have the right to protect and manage natural resources located on traditional indigenous lands. The latter right as mentioned in the Forest conservation act, 1980.
In India environment impact assessment (EIA) also has an important component of public participation. The provisions for environment impact assessment are given under the Environment (Protection) act 1986. It describes the process followed under EIA. Public hearing is a notable feature. There are a few drawbacks in the present EIA policy. For example, the public hearing is carried out at a very late stage. Also, a large number of projects have been excluded from the mandatory public hearing process. Few amendments are required in this respect.
The bottomline is that legal tools for public participation in environmental restoration are available albeit, there is need to strengthen them. The main actor here, is the public . An aware and enthusiastic public can bring the much needed change. It starts from ‘US’.

Relationship advice for women
When we are in a relationship, we should keep our happiness in our minds. Are we really happy in this relationship? If this doubt arises in your mind, then there are chances that you are in a wrong relationship. Make sure the relationship is healthy both mentally and physically. Some people are afraid of relationships and those who have gone into a terrible experience are afraid of committing themselves to another relationship. In that case, they should introspect so that they will get to know about themselves. Try to speak up with your dear ones and ask for advice from them. Try to speak with elders and get to know the things they did in their relationships.
Try to have some time for yourself. Don’t do things just for the sake of your partner. It will affect your mental health. If you are sacrificing something for him for example the foods you love, crafts you do, and abandoning your friends. Then that is not the place for you. Try to move on from that life. The earlier you do the good it will be for both of you.
There are also some women who want to meet their partner 24 hours a day and want to know his activities throughout the day. Stop doing this. Some might do this because of a lack of work. Try to indulge yourself in some activities. Give him some space to breathe. Always make some time for yourself and in that time focus on things you love and forget about the world.
You should be connected with him physically, mentally, and emotionally. If you fail to do one of the things then there are chances that the relationship won’t last long. Connecting with that person doesn’t mean that only when they are in front of you. Even though they are away from you you should connect with him.
When you are in a relationship don’t forget to take care of yourselves. Eat properly and make sure you are drinking a good amount of water. Often women in relationships forget to take care of themselves. The person we should love first is us. So taking care of your health should be your topmost priority.
If you think he is not giving good respect to you then speak with him and make him understand the issues faced by you. Solve the issue mutually without taking it to a third partner. Make some time for your partner by planning something on weekends by throwing parties or surprising him by cooking or booking a candlelight dinner in a restaurant.
If you are feeling you are not happy in that relationship talk to him and make him understand. Don’t be afraid to express your views and also don’t get depressed about being alone. Being alone helps you to figure out your problems. If you are not sure about leaving the relationship right away give some time. Time is the biggest medicine and it can heal all problems. Think about your life how it was before he came into your life and what are all the good things you did in your life.
And in the end, accept him for what he is. don’t try to force your thoughts on him. don’t be so stubborn to get things done. Always try to see things from his perspective.
Have a healthy relationship 🙂
weird laws in the world
Every country is different, and every country’s laws are different. Sometimes these laws border on the seriously ridiculous, and other times they point to important cultural values that might be different than your own. Some of these are listed below :
- IT’S ILLEGAL TO CHEW GUM IN SINGAPORE – Sometimes we all suffer when fools break the rules. After vandals used chewing gum to mess with the Mass Rapid Transit system and the Housing and Development Board spent $150,000 a year to clean gum liter, Singapore banned all gum substance in 1992.
- IT’S ILLEGAL TO FEED PIGEONS IN VENICE – With thousands of pigeons descending upon Saint Mark’s Square and Venice, lured by the tourist readily handing out food in exchange for Instagram worthy photos, Venice lawmakers officially made it illegal to feed the pigeons in 2008. It is said the cleanup from birds cost each citizen 275 euros per year, so now, the tables are turned.
- IT’S ILLEGAL TO WEAR HIGH HEELS TO THE ACROPOLIS – The country banned high heels at the acropolis in 2009. Greeks put this ban in place to protect its ruins from damage caused by sharp shoes. The ruins are nearly 2,500 years old, so be respectful and wear some soft-soled shoes when you visit.
- DON’T WEAR YOUR WINNIE THE POOH T-SHIRT IN POLAND – The cuddly little bear all stuffed with fluff also does not wear pants. Because of this, Poland issued a ban on Winnie the Pooh around playgrounds and schools, finding the A.A.Milne character a bit too risque for the likes of impressionable children.
- IT’S ILLEGAL TO WEAR A MASK IN PUBLIC IN DENMARK – Not only masks, the Danish government wants to stop anyone from covering their faces in anyway in public places. The controversial ban went into effect in August 2018. Officials claim the ban helps to properly identify people during crowded events, should anything negative happen and someone need to be identified.
- CLOSE THE GATE OR YOU’LL BE FINED IN NEVADA – Gates in Nevada are used to keep in livestock, and anyone not closing and fastening a gate when outside city limits can receive a fine.
- IT’S ILLEGAL TO PAY WITH TOO MANY COINS IN CANADA – When making a payment that is more than $10, its is illegal to pay with more than a single coin under the Currency Act in Canada.
- IT’S ILLEGAL TO CLIMB A TREE IN TORONTO – This goes for Ottawa, Toronto and even in the middle of the forest too unless you have a permit. In 2013, one your tree climbing enthusiast earned himself a $365 ticket for climbing in Bellevue Square Park.
- YOU MUST WALK YOUR DOG DAILY IN ROME – Rome’s strict laws again animal cruelty include the walking of pet dogs. If the owner mot walk their dog once a day minimum they could be fined $625.
- IT’S ILLEGAL TO BUILD A SANDCASTLE IN SPAIN – Spain despises your attempt at making sand castles so much you can be fined if caught building one in Spain. And the fines vary by location at their discretion. On the island of Majorca, for example, you could pay 100 euros, but you could pay up to 1,500 euros in Galicia .
World Environmental Day
1)World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5 every year.
2) The theme for this year is ‘Ecosystem Restoration’.
3) It is celebrated to generate awareness of the environment and nature.
World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5 every year to remind people about the importance of nature. It is celebrated across the globe to tell people that nature should not be taken for granted and must be respected for its values.
With the coronavirus outbreak and people being confined indoors, the environment and mother earth seem to have benefitted slightly. In the absence of human activities amid the coronavirus-induced lockdown, nature is getting time to clean itself and reclaim its space.
History of World Environment Day:
World Environment Day is one of the biggest annual events organised by the United Nations (UN) to generate awareness about the significance of nature and greenery. The United Nations Assembly established World Environment Day in 1972, which was the first day of the Stockholm Conference on the human environment.
In 1974, it was celebrated with the theme ‘Only One Earth’. Since then, various host countries have been celebrating it, and the idea for rotating the center of these activities started. World Environment Day was first observed in 1974 in the US.

If you have ever seen a magician perform, and you have to pay attention to how they do, what they do, it’s very interesting.
Because whatever they do ( if they’re hiding a coin or whatever) ,they distract you from what’s really happening. And it’s so smooth that we wonder , “Oh my God, what happened? How did he do that? How did he produce this thousand rupee note out of his shirt ?” I mean, you have to think. Yeah, And people will sit there and people will applaud.
And obviously, I mean, if he could do that for real, make thousands of rupee notes come out of sleeve , why would he be doing this performance? He could be having a nice vacation on a Caribbean island somewhere.
But he’s not doing that. He’s traveling, town to town, place to place, trying to make a meager living while fooling the audience, and this is the point of it. He’s actually fooling us and we’re applauding being fooled.
Everytime we get distracted in so many spheres of our life and just get fooled by doing that.
So , distraction is actually another attraction, but it’s taking away from what you should be attracted to. You should be attracted to your own existence. Why? Because it is the most precious thing there is. There’s nothing more precious than being alive. This is one thing that nobody is selling and nobody can buy!

Ozone Depletion-A Path to Destruction

The bad state of environment is not often taken seriously due to the ignorance of the people of the world. It is high time that everybody should start working on improving environmental conditions or else nature would start showing us it’s fury which would ultimately lead to our destruction. The main reason for this shape of environment is us, the human race. Activities that are profitable to human beings are sometimes harmful to the environment. Though nature gives us so much we do not give back anything. But is our duty to protect nature because there will be no men when there is no nature. Everybody must understand the seriousness and should initiate possible ways to improve the environment before it gets too late.
Ozone depletion is one of the serious environmental issues that need immediate attention.
“The ozone layer is a region in the earth’s stratosphere that contains high concentration of ozone or trioxygen and protects the earth from the harmful ultraviolet radiations of the sun”.
Earth has various layers of atmosphere. They are troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere and exosphere. Stratosphere contains the ozone layer. Ozone absorbs about 97%-99% of the UV rays and thereby protecting lives on earth. Due to combined human activities and environmental pollution, holes are created in the ozone layer and because of which harmful UV rays enter the earth.
REASONS FOR DEPLETION
- Chlorofluorocarbons or CFCs are the main reasons for the depletion of ozone layer. These CFCs can be generally found in aerosols, refrigerators and air coolants etc.
- According to researchers, unregulated launching of rockets can do more harm to the ozone layer than the CFCs.
- Volcanic eruptions are also a cause for ozone depletion.
- Nitrogen compounds such as NO2, N2O and NO mostly used in industries, agricultural fertilizers etc. also affect ozone.
EFFECTS OF OZONE DEPLETION
- Human beings are directly exposed to the ultraviolet rays due to ozone depletion and it leads to serious health issues such as cancer, skin diseases, cataract, quick ageing and weakened immune system.
- UV rays can also cause cancer in animals.
- Ozone depletion also affects the environment because strong ultraviolet rays leads to minimal growth and photosynthesis of plants. It also severely affects forests.
- Ultraviolet rays has been found to cause damage in the early development stages of fishes and amphibians. Another effect on marine organisms is decreasing their ability to reproduce.
OZONE AND COVID 19
As the coronavirus started spreading rapidly around the earth, the whole was shut down due to the pandemic and all the commercial and industrial activities came to a standstill. This was a decision to actually stop the spread of the disease. It was a “Blessing in disguise” because it indirectly gave ample time for the environment to heal itself. Some studies have also shown good improvements in the quality of air, clear sky and decrease in pollution. It was also found that the ozone layer stopped depleting and started healing itself during the shutdown.
CONCLUSION
From our part, we can express gratitude to nature by controlling pollution, using eco-friendly products, limiting vehicle use and finally planting more and more trees.
HAPPY WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY!
GO GREEN, SAVE GREEN!!

Violence Against Doctors
“Hands that heal, should not bleed.’
2021 has brought with it a second wave of Covid-19 in India. People with underlying comorbidities are especially at risk, and stringent lockdown rules have been put in place in all high risk areas. The healthcare infrastructure has been crumbling under the critical load of patients, and hotels and auditoriums have been converted into isolation areas and vaccination centers.
Throughout all this, doctors have been working tirelessly day and night to save the people of India. Doctors have put themselves at risk to look after critical patients and make sure every human being has an equal and fair chance at survival. And this is what some people of India do. Attack the very healthcare professionals that are trying to save them.
A recent incident in Assam shook the entire medical fraternity. A doctor at a coronavirus facility in Assam’s Hojai, around 140 kms from Guwahati, was mercilessly punched, kicked, and pounded with metal trash cans and bricks, by the relatives of a Covid patient who had died, allegedly due to oxygen shortage. Locals also assaulted the doctor who is now hospitalized but stable.
In another incident in India, a 50 year old doctor was attacked by four people following the death of his 6 year old dengue patient. In Mumbai, a female resident doctor attached to KEM was allegedly abused by the kin of the patient after the 18 year old died due to cardiac arrest in the hospital.
The very profession that has helped India rise from the shadows of the pandemic, is now in a very dark place. The Indian Medical Association has reported that 75% of doctors face verbal or physical abuse in hospital premises and fear of violence was the most common stress factor in 43% of the doctors. Highest number of violence cases were reported in emergency care and 70% of the acts were initiated by the patient’s relatives. In the last 5 years, around 670 cases have been registered across the country pertaining to violence against doctors.
Imagine. After 5 years of studying, 3 years of specialization and 3 more years of super specializations, After countless of nights of studying and putting in their blood, sweat and tears, doctors go back home after being beaten up in the hospital or being mentally or verbally abused or threatened. No human being, let alone a doctor should go through anything of this sort. There are so many things that can be done to prevent this and we need to start acting now.
Security. Changing the behavior and mentality of those harming doctors will take a long time. Meanwhile, this is one of the first measures that the state or district should implement. Unfortunately, we have come to the stage where healthcare professionals feel safe and are safe only when there is proper security in place in hospitals and care centers.
Did you know that only 1.5% of the total GDP (Gross Domestic Product) goes into the healthcare sector of our country. If there is not enough money to buy medical equipment, build better infrastructure and increase the number of beds in the hospital, how will the doctors be able to treat the patient?
Media and the stereotype made my people about doctors. In many interviews across states, people have described doctors as ‘looters’ or people who just want to gain money. We need to understand one thing. Only those people enter the medical field who are compassionate, considerate, hardworking and have an inner passion for helping people. ‘Minting money’ is a general term associated with doctors in movies, plays and in short, the media. This needs to change as soon as possible.
Imagine, everyday, all medical students of this country wake up to such headlines in the newspaper. That their future profession is being painted red by the very people they want to serve. What does this do to their mental state? Doctors are being beaten up, attacked with chairs and medical equipment. Is this some kind of joke?
There were times when medical profession was considered to be noble. People respected doctors and had faith in them. But when doctors started being proclaimed as God, that’s when the line was crossed. That’s when people started thinking, doctors can cure us of any ailment. We need to create awareness about the current incidents happening in the country, and we need change, as soon as possible.
Mental Health
Everyone says, Life is a race but it is your choice to run with everybody and lose your inner peace or to stay calm in the middle of chaos and handle everything with calm and maturity. In 21st century, Mental health is a stigma of which not many people are comfortable talking about. People recommend to go and see a doctor when any physical damage happen on the body. But Nobody cares, When you are broken from inside. Just like you go to the doctor for physical wounds, It is very important to take a appointment with your doctor to discuss about any problem related to Mental health.
In 2021 due to lockdown, Life has taken a serious turn which made us insecure about our future. Many people have lost their loved ones due to the pandemic. The students are unable to get the clarity about what is going to happen next and It creates a lot of panic in youngster’s mind. The thoughts like suicide and harming ourself often comes in our mind. Only way to deal with such problems is to go to a Psychologist and attend some session. Now a days, There are so many influencer and motivational speakers who provide online session for student suffering from depression.
Many cases of suicide have been noticed due to Lockdown. Most of the cases is due to depression and anxiety. It is time when everybody feels lonely and needs somebody to support and motivate them. Government should start campaign to spread awareness regarding dealing with mental issues and depression. It can surely help every individual to overcome from the fear of being alone. Life is hard and It takes a lot of courage to live it under such harsh circumstance. It doesn’t mean that Suicide can only be a solution of it.
If you every feel lonely, try to share your emotions with the people you are most comfortable with. Try to be busy as no such thoughts can come in your mind. Always try to do those activities which makes you feel happy . Mental health should be our prime focus to deal with and try to do some meditation and yoga. It keeps us more focused in reaching our goals in life.
Global Warming
Global warming refers to the heating up of the Earth climate due to the activities of the human beings . Some of such devastating activities are emission of carbon dioxide , fossil fuels , and other green house gases into the environment .
The long term effects of global warming are as follows :
Melting of ice = It is not something new . It is a topic which is very familiar to all of us . Melting of ice has been consistent since past few years .
This activity is not coming to an end in the past few years . In this year only the largest glacier of the world in Antarctica has come off .
Abrupt Changes In Temperature = Now a days floods , cyclones , Tsunamis are something which seem to be a bit common . There is nothing new in them .
This year only two cyclones came in India which caused immense destruction is some parts of the country . Whatever we give to the nature , the nature will revert the same back to us .
Plants and Animals = Now a days regularly some or the other species of animals are getting extinct . A few days early only the white rhino became extinct . The last such beast ended .
The life of such animals as well as plants is getting tremendously affected by the change in the the temperature caused by primarily the activities of the human beings .
So finally these were the effects of global warming caused by the activities of all of us .We still have to undo the bad deeds done by all of us in the past before nature takes more revenge in a further terrifying way from us .
