Contribution of Health Workers – Real Heroes.

The Hero for us is mostly a superstar, for whom we stand up and applaud in the cinema halls. These are our reel life heroes whom we admire a lot and millions of people follows them. Do we ever look back take some time to appreciate what the real life heroes do for us. We are a lot privileged to have these people around us who will stand by strongly no matter what. Real life heroes are mainly the Social service providers like Doctors, Soldiers or Health workers who single handedly holds the Earth together. The systems will break down in no time if these people fails to or if they aren’t competent to do their work seriously. What would have happened if they haven’t served so much for he society? Working towards a national cause is the best policy of serving the humanity. Existence would have seized if these people weren’t available there for contributing towards needs of the society. Heath workers, maybe we don’t recognize them as much as we do to the Superstars, but their contribution isn’t any less. Heath workers are the Pillars of society, they are those people who helps to cure patients and takes care of them so they heals properly. They have to deal with a lot of patients suffering from various physical or mental ailments. They look after those victims constantly and convinces them about the beauty of life, also helps in preventing further problematic situations for them. They in turn contribute to the health workforce. We actually owe a lot and will be supremely grateful for and never disrespect them.

In this present scenario we get a lot of information through media that so many health workers are randomly getting affected by the Covid 19 and also some are losing lives because of this cause. This is so heart wrenching to hear of their demise for such a noble cause i.e., providing service to the public. They are disguised Gods who give a new life to the broken people. A patient who has lost all hopes and is waiting for the end needs a lot of motivation and guidance for accepting that they deserve to live more and fight back. This mental support is very much needed and is very much needed and is provided by the health working. Not just this day, the Health workers are doing this jobs since the starting of the pandemic, all over the world. The health workers initially started their duties with testing to trace the covid 19 patients. It was their primary duty to detect whoever is corona positive. Then they isolate those patients and also provides utmost care and concern to them. It is really difficult to wear those Personal Protective Equipment kits which has been prescribed by the Medical Association of India. We don’t know whether they take proper food or nutrients. yet cannot do anything about that. Health workers also voluntarily fulfills the requirements of those who stays in Home quarantine.

For the Health workers, Work is God, their family becomes secondary to them. As because they are liable towards society they cannot take a leave any day and go to meet with their family. Even if the Family requires them urgently, many a times they are unable to attend social gatherings or meetings. The family deliberately misses them, like we all do and they sadly so cannot indulge themselves in all the happiness either. They are so dedicated towards their work, they rarely takes up holidays. Many health workers have to work 24 * 7 and no body knows when a patient would need a First Aid. They even do not get proper mess or rooms to stay. Random cases are over the media nowadays where frequently these people are abused or harassed due to the fear of Covid. Their families are tortured and thrown out of their homes. This shows that hardly any humanity is left within us any more. They do not get Honors or Prizes ever, they don’t need such but all we can do is provide them with proper empathy and acceptance. They are our real life Heroes and the children should learn and read more about them and get inspired by their work spirits. Children shall look up to them as their role model. They are the strong walls on which the community stands intact.

ANXIETY

Anxiety is a concoction of feelings of worry, tension and fear. In India, alone 44.9 million people are dealing with anxiety disorders. Anxiety is a necessary survival instinct that had helped humanity survives. It produces adrenaline a hormone responsible for flight or fight response, it helps us fight dangers or to run away from them. Now the feelings or fear and worry revolve around our jobs, family and money. The nervous feeling before an important event is now a prolonged feeling of worry and stress. When anxiety is left untreated for a long time it can develop into anger. The socio-cultural aspects of our Indian society make it difficult for individuals with mental illness to come forward and get help. The stigma is still rooted that anyone who goes to a mental health facility is seen as crazy or disturbed.
Anxiety during lockdown can be tough. Anxiety can be divided into different disorders based on their severity or triggers. They are general anxiety disorder, agoraphobia which is anxiety which is triggered when they are forced to be in public situations, social anxiety, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), panic attacks and separation anxiety. A constant state of worry or fear might lead to panic attacks or bottled up stress turns into frustration which in turn becomes anger. During times of uncertainty where students worry about their academics, grad students who worry about future prospectus, a worker who are losing their jobs, anxiety are on the rise. Unprocessed anxiety can lead to anger issues as these feelings of fear or worry are left unacknowledged. The anger that is sourced from anxiety is not intentional but it is a natural reaction to anxiety. When these feelings are left untreated it’s normal for people to lash out because they do not know how to cope with it. But there are 5 things you can do to or tips that might help with anxiety.

1.People with anxiety usually tend to follow a routine they are comfortable with. In a lockdown, folks with anxiety should not lose track of their routine as it keeps them comfortable.
2.People how to suffer from panic attacks have many techniques that calm them down. One of my favourite techniques is sucking on an ice cube. Sucking on the ice cube distracts your mind from whatever is troubling you.
3.Staying connected with friends and family is important as social connectedness is important.
4.Minimizing the time spent on social media is a good option as social media is littered with constant news on coronavirus which might trigger anxiety in lockdown.
5.Talking to supportive friends or a mental health professional is always a good option.

Anxiety is treatable and there are many different ways it can be helped. The pandemic will pass and the thing will return to normal but something will remain different. The key to lessening the anxiety is to be kind to others and ourselves. We are going to some difficult times but life will always go on.

Neuralink brain chip

Elon Musk‘s mysterious Neuralink startup is working on a brain-computer interface that will allow wearers to stream music directly to their brain, the technology entrepreneur has claimed. Mr. Musk, who also heads SpaceX and Tesla, is set to reveal new information about the mysterious startup next month but has been slowly releasing details over Twitter in recent days. The device that allows the human brain to connect to a computer could be implanted in a person for the first time later this year, announced the founder of Neuralink neurotechnology company, the tycoon Elon Musk. This crazy project of Elon Musk and his startup seems to be going well. Elon Musk said on Twitter that the Neuralink is working on an “awesome” new version of the company’s signature device. “Clearly better than Utah Array,” he said contentedly.

neuralink-brain-chip-implant

Neuralink’s ambitions are really great! The main purpose of the device is to compensate for entire sections of the brain lost due to a stroke, accident, or congenital disease. The billionaire businessman said that people would soon be able to use the brain chip technology of Neuralink to stream music into their brains without any special efforts. According to Musk, Neuralink chip would also be able to control hormone levels and help with anxiety relief and some other mental issues.  The Tesla CEO noted that those who are willing to get Neuralink chip into their brains would go through a process similar to laser eye surgery.

One part of it will involve a neurosurgical robot, which fits flexible “threads” into the brain connected to a tiny implantable computer chip. A research paper detailing the device claims that a single USB-C cable will provide “full-bandwidth data streaming” to the brain. Neuralink has 11 job postings listed on its website, offering roles for a mechanical engineer, a robotics software engineer, and a “histology technician”. Over the weekend, Mr. Musk made a request for people with specific expertise in wearables. Earlier this month, Mr. Musk hinted that Neuralink’s chip will be able to cure depression and addiction by “retraining” the parts of the brain responsible for these afflictions.

Of course, it is not yet clear what the updated concept looks like and whether it will work at all. SpaceX and Tesla chief, however, is full of optimism and enthusiasm. “The potential is truly transformational for restoring brain & motor functions,” he said in his tweet on Monday. If the arrival of the first tests on the human brain is encouraging, the road is long until the actual implantation of Neuralink. In another tweet, he says: “First, we need to make it super safe & easy to use, then determine the greatest utility vs. risk. From initially working to volume production & implantation is a long road.” Though the company is yet to make an announcement over its official plans, Musk recently said that there will be a progress update on August 28.

Neuralink was founded in 2016 and since then the company has only held one public presentation about how the technology will work. In 2019, Musk had said that Neuralink was developing a “sewing machine-like” device that would provide a direct connection between a computer and a chip inserted inside the brain.

YOGA

One of the most crude approaches to save the body sound, generous and salubrious is yoga. The articulation “Yoga” has consistently involved a particular locus in antiquated length and even in the blessing situation. AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine

The initial trial data for the COVID-19 vaccine that has been developed in a joint collaboration between Oxford University and AstraZeneca. The data has been widely awaited as the world looks forward to some good news on the front of a vaccine that could shield people from the deadly coronavirus outbreak that has already infected over 14 million people worldwide and killed over 6 lakh.

The potential vaccine is already in large-scale Phase III human trials to assess whether it can protect against COVID-19, but its developers have yet to report Phase I results which would show whether it is safe and whether or not it induces an immune response. The developers of the vaccine said this month they were encouraged by the immune response they had seen in trials so far and were expecting to publish Phase 1 data by the end of July.

How does the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine candidate work?

When someone is infected with the Covid-19 virus (SARS-CoV-2), the reason it spreads in the body easily is because of the spikes on its surface. These spikes, known as the ‘spike protein’, allow the virus to penetrate cells and, thereafter, multiply. The vaccine developed by Oxford and AstraZeneca, which belongs to a category called non-replicating viral vector vaccines, tries to build the body’s immunity against this spike protein. The idea is to create antibodies to fight this spiked surface so that the virus does not even have the chance to penetrate the cells. The vaccine uses a different virus — in this case, a weakened version of a common cold virus (adenovirus) that infects chimpanzees — to carry just the code to make the spike protein, like a Trojan horse. The adenovirus, genetically modified so that it cannot replicate in humans, will enter the cell and release the code to make only the spike protein. The body’s immune system is expected to recognize the spike protein as a potentially harmful foreign substance and starts building antibodies against it. Once immunity is built, the antibodies will attack the real virus if it tries to infect the body.

Since the Covid-19 vaccine has been developed by a United Kingdom-funded university, UK will have intellectual property rights. Other countries such as India will need to enter into commercial deals or understanding via foundations such as Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) and Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI). AstraZeneca also entered a deal with the Pune-based Serum Institute of India to supply one billion doses for low-and-middle-Income countries, with the first 400 million nicely before the end of 2020. It is not yet clear how many doses India will be able to land at first since the rollout of the vaccine will be subject to considerations that are commercial as well as that of equity. The World Health Organization’s chief scientist has described the Oxford vaccine as the leading candidate in a global race to halt the coronavirus pandemic that has killed more than 600,000 people. More than 100 vaccines are being developed and tested around the world to try to stop the coronavirus pandemic, which has killed more than 600,000 people and ravaged the global economy.

How To Survive 2020

COVID-19 has infected millions of people. The economy is in the worst shape it has been in over a decade. Forest fires, job losses, murder hornet, locusts, 2020 has been difficult, strange and a traumatic year. And as the cherry on top, many of us have to stay at our homes or practice social distancing. If you’ve been witnessing or suffering through any of these events, you may be looking for answers on how to get through them.

With 2020 being such an abnormal year, there is a good chance it is taking a toll on your physical, financial and mental health. Here, what could be practiced to stay informed and survive 2020-

  1. Address Your Health- During 2020, you’re probably not going going outside often and spending time with your family and friend is more rare than ever. It is natural for these conditions to take a toll on your mental health. To help with all this, find ways to cope with how you are feeling. It is always important to talk to people you love through voice or video calls or texts, do your best to workout at home, and take your time out of the day to do things you love. And also, stay away from social media if all the negative news becomes too much for you.
  2. Organize Your Finances- If you have lost, or at risk of losing your job, it is good idea to minimize your spending. You can do this by breaking up your spending into essential and non-essential purchases. This will help you figure out your survival number, which is the lowest amount of money you need to survive. Look at other types of spending you can cut out, like your gym membership as your gym may not be open during the pandemic.
  3. Learning a New Skill- There is a good chance that you have a lot of time in your hands now and what better way to use it than utilizing it in learning something new? You can take an online coding course or even learn to knit. Learning something new and staying productive is hugely helpful to your mental health. You can also create a side hustle from it, allowing you to earn money, and if can not earn money from it, you can learn a new skill that saves you money like growing your own food or being able to fix appliances.
  4. Pay Attention- Even though what’s going o in the world can be extremely negative, it is important to stay informed. Use multiple, reliable news sources to educate yourself about what is going on. It can help relive some anxiety when you are more informed. That being said, don’t get overwhelmed by the news. Looking at COVID-19 stats or civil unrest all day can become exhausting, limit yourself to checking news just once in a day, and leave it to that.
  5. Reach Out- Remember that this year has been hard on all of us, and everyone is struggling in some way or another. Don’t be afraid to reach out if you are having a hard time, and remember to check-in on your loved ones to see how they are coping with this crazy year. We are all in this together, stand up for what is right. Support local businesses and donate to charity or your favorite causes if you can. Once, this is all over we’ll finally come back to normal. And hopefully, the new normal will be a better world than ever.

Transgenders

Transgenders are the gender category that do not fall in either female or male category. They are of a gender where they have a combination of both male and female. They aren’t either completely male or completely female.

Some transgenders are born with male body and feel like a woman from inside and vice-versa. Some transgenders change their identity from female to male or male to female as per their preferences.

Transgenders have a different community where all the transgenders stay together with each other leaving their families. Over the years, transgenders have got their identities as a transgender category in the sex section.

Transgenders live in a seperate place where all the transgenders live together as the society has still not accepted them completely. Even today, we hear people calling them kinnars, chakkas, hijras, meetha, etc. Nobody calls them or uses this English word ‘Transgenders.’

Earlier, transgenders were not allowed to get educated or work somewhere. Today, they can work somewhere and also get educated. But, the question is will they get that respect ever they deserve or need in the society? Will the society ever accept them completely? Will the society ever consider them equal to us?

We say, we have developed our nations, countries, technologies, etc. What about our minds? Has it changed over these years? Even if law has passed to grant education to transgenders or permissions to work. The mindsets of the people are still the same.

Transgenders are still being called by names or such tags that they really have got used to it by now. The society still consider these genders as untouchable. As soon as a transgenders passes by someone, all eyes are on that person. They get thousands of stares looking at them everyday when they roam to earn.

Transgenders are called as ‘God’s curse’ to them by the people of the society and that same transgender is found lucky to give blessings on any auspicious day. Strange, isn’t it?

Well, did they knew before that they would be born as transgenders? No, right? Then, how can we judge them every single day? Who gave us the right to judge them and make them hate their lives?

Nobody knows what gender we are going to be born with. Is it their fault that they were born with such body and genes?

Transgenders just need respect and the freedom to live their life as per their own just like we males and females live. Even they are humans and are a creation by Gods too. Nobody is cursed.

They do not have a choice so they live seperately as their own families disown them after being aware of their genders. The laws are being changed but the mindsets of the people needs to be changed more for them.

Transgenders do have dreams, do have goals the same way we have. They get hurt too. They eat the same food we have. They have a heart too. They do not have any different hearts compared to us. Still, they are not treated with due respect.

Transgenders should be given the freedom to live a normal life. They do have a life of their own. They should be treated with respect and dignity. The only thing they still are fighting is for is ‘respect.’ The respect in people’s eyes for them. The respect to work anywhere and live peacefully.

Wherever they go, people should treat them as normal human beings just like them and not make constantly make them feel that they are not a part of our society. But, yes all this would not happen. It is very easy to say this but this is really not possible until the minds of the people are cleared.

All they want is respect and to be accepted by the society. Will they ever receive the respect they deserve? Will they ever be treated as equal? Will they ever be called by their actual names instead of the names given by the people?

BLUIS (Bhubaneswar Land Use Intelligence System)

The Bhubaneswar Land Use Intelligence System is a geo-tagged repository that would monitor and detect all government lands in Bhubaneswar. This will be done by using high-resolution satellite imagery. For safeguarding government lands from encroachments by land grabbers- the launch of BLUIS makes Odisha the first state in the country to use satellite technology and artificial intelligence. Any attempt to change the use of government land in Bhubaneswar, BLUIS will raise alarm and guide the enforcement staff to the exact location of encroachment. ‘BLUIS’ and ‘Litigation Management System’ are among the 8 Technology-driven Solutions that were launched under the 5T initiatives by the Chief Minister.

Odisha-CM-Naveen-Patnaik-launches-BLUIS

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on 8 July 2020 unveiled BLUIS which would monitor changes in all government lands in Bhubaneswar by leveraging high-resolution satellite imagery. Along with that, he launched 8 technology-driven solutions under 5T initiatives for Home and GA & PG Departments through video conferencing. Along with BLUIS, the chief minister launched applications like e-Pravesh, e-Bhawan, e-Atithi, HRMS 2.0, HRMS mobile app, LMS 2.0, ORTPSA to improve public services. The 5T Initiative (Technology, Transparency, Teamwork, and Time Leading to Transformation) model of governance, launched in August 2019, requires each department of the State Government to draw up an annual work-plan for faster, better public service delivery systems leading to achieve transformational goals. Launching the services, Patnaik said that the 5T model of governance along with Mo Sarkar has brought about a perceptible improvement in the quality of governance and has eased the delivery of public services.

Encroachment of government land in the capital city of Bhubaneswar will no more be easy for land grabbers as the Bhubaneswar Land Use Intelligence System (BLUIS), a web and mobile-based solution, launched by Odisha government would raise alarm over attempts to change the land use. According to the government, BLUIS is a geo-tagged repository of all the government lands in Bhubaneswar, created through high-resolution satellite imagery to detect all changes taking place on government lands.

Odisha becomes the first state in India to use high-resolution satellite imagery utilizing space technology and artificial intelligence to monitor government lands. The lack of transparency and accountability of the enforcement in the current mechanisms and the increasing encroachment of government lands in Bhubaneswar resulted in the development of BLUIS.

“Bhubaneswar is one of the fastest-growing cities in India witnessing land-use changes on a daily basis. In the process, precious public land is prone to encroachment. The present mechanism of detection and enforcement lacks adequate transparency and accountability,” a senior officer said emphasizing real-time monitoring. A mobile application would alert the enforcement authorities of any new construction on government lands. The GPS on the application guides the enforcement staff to the exact location. Evidence of enforcement is uploaded on the application as geo-tagged images and videos,” he said. As per follow-up action, a case will be filed for removing encroachment. The Litigation Management System, an online application to record information on legal cases and enable end-to-end communication between government officials and advocates during different stages of a case, was also launched. It provides a smart technology solution to monitor court cases from initiation, online appointment scheduling, and allotment of the case to government advocate for preparation and submission of counter-affidavit.

KERALA MODEL – The Trail and Error

The Kerala model was established in 1970. This received world wide recognition and applauds for its immense development of two most crucial aspects of humanity – Health and Education, also ensured high female literarcy rates. Much prior to today’s situation, the measures taken by Kerala was a milestone and also proved deep insights in the matter. The upliftment of The Health and Education is the treasure of a state. On the early March, Kerala and Maharashtra had the most number of cases all over India. Inspite of all all the necessary precautions taken beforehand, the question here lies is… Whether the Model was successful enough to combat the Pandamic- Covid 19? Was this Model efficient enough to be implemented nationally? Can a Pandemic be controlled by any specific Model or theries? Initially during the outbreak of Pandemic in India, Kerala a state with population over 35 Million, has reported 4189 cases of Covid – 19 as on 30th June, 2020 and 23 deaths with a stirring recovery rate of 51.7 per cent. hence, this Model got praises all over India. BJP Government in Madhya Pradesh has leant and adopted Kerala’s strategy of tackling Covid 10 infection. Kerala actually emphasized on various key factors, firstly educating or alerting the citizens on the gravity of the situations and hence dealing with it on personal levels, this is the primary step as it is mandatory for the citizens to understand it is safe for them as well as for safeguarding other’s interests. After that, as recommended by the World Health Organizations the 4 T’s Test, Trace and Treat, Kerala followed the same. Thirdly, Isolation that is Quarantining the infected ones specially and not allowing them to roam. Kerala played a very significant role in treating the issues of migrant labourers hence tackling them properly and this was a remarkable achievement of India. Kerala was the first state amongst India to conduct exams as well for students of Class 10-12. A lot of controversies were triggered upon across the media as to who will guarantee the protection of the students? due to the speedy recovery rate has there been a sense of carelessness and over confidence in the mindsets of Kerala Government?

Commissioner of Police Vijay Sakhare, Kochi, Kerala was the chief architect of Kerala’s brand new policy i.e., Triple Lock Strategy in Kasaragod District. This was actually made on the basis of Three relevant lock down stages for the people, separately for each sets of people strictly for their security. 1) The General Lock – the 1st lock was implemented on 25th March, 2020. This is the primarly lockdown for all the people to remain confined in their homes and not to roam around. Self quarantining is absolutely essential for restricting the movements. Rule- breakers were hence widely punished by the cops. 2) Containment Zones – the 2nd lock was implemented as on 28th March, 2020. This is the segregated places with the most number of Covid – 19 positive patients. Only the service for most essential goods very provided as the rest shops, industries, market places were closed down to avoid gatherings. 3) Home Quarantine – the 3rd lock was made especially for those who were affected and also their contacts, they were isolated and their treatments were to be done in the house itself. wearing masks and repeatative sanitizations is a must of those who were isolated. This led to around 75 per cent reduction of new cases which was commendable.

Unfortunately, Mass Spread of Covid Infection was confirmed in the state of Kerala on 17th July, 2020. Silent community transmission happened in Thiruvananthapuram at over 50 percent rate in Covid- 19, says Kerala Health Minister. This created a terror amongst the common people. Around 10 large community clusters has occurred in the state. The costal neighbourhoods of Pulluvila and Poonthura is coping with the stage of community transmission, as declared by the Chief Minister of Kerala, Sir. Pinarayi Vijayan in a press conference. The community transmissions has also been found in Kerala, Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. Hence, the Government is answerable to the people that whether a Model of a state can actually help to combat with relatively world-wide issues such as a Pandemic.

U.S. Cutting Ties With WHO Is A Misstep That May Cause Severe Repercussions

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on May 19 that U.S. would be halting it’s funding of the World Health Organization and pull out of the agency, accusing it of protecting China as the coronavirus pandemic took off. The move has alarmed health experts, who say the decision will undermine efforts to improve the health of people around the world.

It was a knee-jerk response and an overreaction to a legitimate concern. Yes, the WHO has problems and has been too lenient on China recently. Does that mean every other country should pull the plug and ignore its other achievements, without attempting diplomatic reform? It’s hypocritical for the US to pull out of an international organisation because another country has too much sway within it. How would they react if, say, the UK pulled out of the IMF and World Bank because it has too much American influence? Terrible for the international reputation of the U.S.A. It will further harm the world’s ability to detect and react to this and future pandemics. And there will be future pandemics. If the U.S.A. was/is depending on the WHO for it’s intelligence gathering, the U.S.A. has bigger problems than COVID-19. It will provide Trump’s base with a bone to chew on and provide them the simple answer to a very complex question that they so crave.

Critics have condemned this move and called out the President for playing the ‘blame game’. Trump has shown his incompetence with dealing with the Covid-19. What’s worse he even screwed the ability of a country that has been well known to be the leading force of healthcare. Meanwhile, China, a country who is still stereotyped as filthy people and Sickman, is recovering from the Covid-19. Long gone are those Americans who jeered at China and boasted that their CDC can handle the Covid-19 easily. Who’s to blame? If we look at the facts, Trump is definitely blamed for all this mess. His unwillingness to listen to CDC or even his white house health advisors to take the matter seriously because he doesn’t want a lockdown like China has resulted in the death of more than 142,000 Americans as of the time of my writing.

The growing reports of deaths began make the President realize that his administration was seriously failing in its response to the corona virus. He responded in two ways. He suddenly made it clear to the States that they were responsible for providing all the necessary protective wares and ventilators as well as all testing for the virus and that the failures were there’s not his. Next, he forcefully (and quite unfairly) condemned the work that China and the WHO had undertaken to react to the virus thus showing that he knew better than anybody what was best for everyone and that he was still a brilliant genius. So, fundamentally this is why President Trump decided to halt funding to the WHO. An activity that, it is certain, a majority of its 193 other member countries of the WHO will condemn as many of the larger countries have done already. No-one cuts funding in the middle of this kind of disastrous international epidemic. If one feels disturbed about any other country or organization involved in it one waits until the epidemic is over and then everyone gets together and analyses what worked well and what did not, then sit together to make sure the next time this happens the world is better prepared. Regrettably the USA seems to think that it can handle world matters unilaterally. As this is absolutely impossible for any country the result can only end up with some real disappointments for everyone including the USA, now the country with the largest mortality than any other as a result of poor corona virus policies and management.

Not anyone in the world, not even Trump himself, will benefit from Trump’s suspension of the US’s financing of WHO. Especially at times like these when WHO’s role in coordinating the worldwide response to pandemic is critical. We can be sure that WHO will not be distracted and will carry on its important job albeit maybe in a little less effective way as compared to when they did have the rightly anticipated financing from the US. The only thing this Trump’s move will achieve is that the rest of the world will finally and eventually give up on America to do the right thing and will try to distance themselves away from the US.

Hail Zidane

Zinedine Zidane- A man of inspiration for the upcoming generations. each and every football lover should know his story really well. Zidane can be defined as the Come back king, a True Coach and a perfect man. Probably one of the greatest player of his era. Zidane’s story is an inspirational theory of exactly how sportsman shall be. His victory of La Liga 2019-2020 is very raw and particularly relevant these days, after defeating the arch rival Barcelona indirectly. He never failed to shine in the role of a complete sportsman. Not only just as a player but his hunger for recognition as a coach is commendable. He proved to entire world that a greatest player can be a greatest coach too. To start the story with, Zidane was born on 23rd June 1972. He got his inspiration from the Argentine sportsman Diego Maradona whose techniques “were on another level” for him. Lovingly known as Zizou, he was a French Soccer player who mainly performed as an attacking midfielder. He was an asset for his team, often served as the backbone and has contributed a lot for the enhancement of the football fraternity. Zidane debuted professionally and scored his first goal for Cannes against Nantes. He was devoted to his national team of France where he received a lot of respect. His contribution in Euro Cup 2000, was unforgettable and he also was claimed as the Player of Tournament. He also had a great contribution for FiFA World Cup 2002,2006 and Euro 2004. He was also rewarded as the FIFA World player 1998, 2000 and 2003 also Ballon d’or 1998. He was a one man army who served his team so well and proved himself to be the greatest of all times.

Now lets come to the not-so-famous part, that such a responsible and disciplined person like Zizou, headbutted Marco Materazzi right to his chest, in 2006 World Cup. In the last world cup match of his life, he was shown a Red Card. Seriously was it heroic? or a bizarre act? This shocked the entire world and this was probably one of the worst act for breaking the rules. This drastic step was highly criticized by the media and questions were repeatatively asked to him. This became the most controversial headline. Zidane later accepted his fault and stated that, ” I am not proud of what I did to Materazzi “. Actually, Materazzi revealed that he spoke something worse to Zidane.

An advice for the future fast paced generations is that You have to compete with yourself, your primary competition will be with you and no one else. That very day Zidane had probably taken a vow that it is not okay to lose, or to accept the unfair game. He was of really a challenging nature so he promised to himself that being coward is never an option. you have to show the world your capabilities and what you deserve. Even till now, his aura of an elegant soccer player is still intact. Zidane ruled the Real Madrid club as a star player along with teammates like Cristiano Ronaldo and David Bekham (both supremely stylish players) primarily. Just as a brilliant student evolves to be the Principal. When he returned to Real Madrid as a Coach nobody thought that he is going to flourish so much on the upcoming days, however… He proved his excellence as a manager and was successful on his part. Though some people continued to criticise him whether he deserved to be in the position or not. Zidane was gifted with huge honours namely, Three Champion Leagues, Two European Super Cups, Two Spanish Super Cups also Two Club World Cups. He left his Coaching when he was questioned on whether he was capable of the position or not. The thing was his eligibility was constantly tested in all phases. After that the conditions of Real Madrid coaching really degraded and the previous coach was sacked. Zidane came back again as a King, and for concluding this story… he won the La Liga title after 2017. 34th La Liga Title, 2020 was hoisted by Real Madrid players defeating Villareal, under guidance of Zidane.

“WE WERE A FAMILY WHO HAD COME FROM NOTHING AND NOW WE HAD RESPECT FROM FRENCH PEOPLE OF ALL SORTS’. – Zidane.

Freedom of speech and expression: a ruse?

Humans are categorized as different from animals on the basis of a defining characteristic “self consciousness”. This feature states that we have the ability to be aware of our surroundings and be aware in general about our thoughts, emotions and words. Being in a society that constantly asks for certain order and rules according to which everyone is expected to behave ,our words and thoughts have to be filtered before voicing them out. “Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; the right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek and receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers” proclaims the Universal Declaration Of Human Rights (1948).

These rules and regulations have been made part of our constitution. The right to freedom of speech and expression is subject to limitations imposed under Article 19(2). Article 19(1)(a) of Indian Constitution says that all citizens have the right to freedom of speech and expression. Freedom of Speech and expression means the right to express one’s own convictions and opinions freely by words of mouth, writing, printing, pictures or any other mode.

Freedom of expression has four broad special purposes to serve:

1) It helps an individual to attain self-fulfillment.

2) It assists in the discovery of truth.

3) It strengthens the capacity of an individual in participating in decision-making.

4) It provides a mechanism by which it would be possible to establish a reasonable balance between stability and social change.

5) All members of society would be able to form their own beliefs and communicate them freely to others

Bearing all this fundamental information about freedom of speech and expression lets talk about the ongoing onslaught on comedians in India. Agrima Joshua, a comedian from Mumbai, faced the online mob who attacked her on social media. Some of the trolling had to do with her political views, some with the religious community to which she belongs.  Joshua took a dig at some of the outlandish claims made about a proposed statue of medieval Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji. The online mob made sure to misrepresent the content of the video, claiming that Joshua was ridiculing Shivaji – rather than simply mocking the absurd claims made by supporters of the statue. The online audience in response decided to step up their game and started posting their own videos involving graphic rape threats and went so far as to vandalize the place the sketch took place in. A series of disappointing events including the siding of the Maharashtra government with the online mob and comedians coming out and apologizing for their videos followed.

All these events are misuse of the right to freedom of expression or not is the main question to ponder on. Is it okay for people to voice their opinions whether wrong or not? On one side artists are encouraged to talk about political and happening topics in the country to generate awareness while on the other when they do they are reprimanded for misusing their freedom of speech. Where is the line drawn? Expressing the online mob’s dislike towards the video could be done in a civilized way rather than giving rape threats. Will females be dragged down by asserting dominance using rape every time they validate their right to freedom and expression. The digging up of religion hurting statements continued for several other comics who came up and apologized for their videos. And yet their personal details (address, mobile number, etc) were circulated online.

The misuse of freedom of expression has reached to its peak now. Enough for us to question what is right or wrong and what can be voiced out in public and what cannot. The standup comic scene is definitely going to be very different post Covid19 and also every public speaker is going to face more of the online mob hunting. As the youth of the country its our responsibility to exercise our right of freedom of expression and speech in a conscientious manner.

Terrorism and Business

The first is to make terrorist less devastating and attractive to terrorist decentralization. And the second one which is raise to the opportunity cost and rather than material cost. For terrorist. These alternative strategies will effectively dissuade potential terrorists. It is here argued that not only apply to society as a whole but can also the usefully be applied by the enterprises.

The politics are the always has been the committed to fighting terrorism by using the best dissuaded from attacking through the treat of heavy sanctions and by using police and military forces to the fight them the reaction terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 is a striking example. The American president, changes a War against terrorism, this war has a widely supported by a great many democratic as well as authoritarian countries. This war terrorism is a completely based on the deterrence, Actual and prospective terrorist must be annihilated by killing them without any further and must at least captured , held prisoner, put trial and sentenced to long or indefinite of time, It is expected that such treatment impose such high cost of prospective terrorist that no individual will engage in terrorist future.

History, as well as recent experience suggest, however, that using deterrence in dealing with terrorist is ineffective and may even be counterproductive. The number of terrorist with ineffective counterproductive. The terrorist may increase, rather than decrease. A policy based deterrence have a second disadvantages. It civil and human right in the countries engaged in fighting. Deterrence policy tends to undetermined exactly those value it to protect. Even if deterrence were effective the world may end up significantly less if than before was engaged in the against terrorism.

DECENTRALIZATION – A system with many different center is more stable due to its diversity, enabling any one part to part to sustainable for the form other. When one part of system, enabling any one part to suitable to other. A country that is the negatively affected, one or several part may be take over. A country that is the target of terrorist attack can reduce vulnerability by implementing from of the decentralization.

THE POLICY – The government is undertaking of the benefits are difficult to pinpoint and even more difficulty to measure, particularly because of possible indirect and long term effectsii. A basic problems is identify how much worse off individual would have been the if a deterrence policy had not been adopted. construction such a counterfactual situation is a tricky especially as long term as and macroeconomics as well as macro effect have to be taken into account.

More LCA Tejas for the IAF

Tejas is an LCA (Light Combat Aircraft) designed by HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) for the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy. The HAL Tejas is an Indian single-engine, fourth-generation, multirole light fighter. It came from the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) program, which began in the 1980s to replace India’s aging MiG-21 fighters. In 2003, the LCA was officially named “Tejas”. It was developed as a replacement for older Mig-21 Aircraft.

As of 2019, the Indian Air Force has planned for a total of 324 Tejas in several variants. The first batch of 40 Mark 1 aircraft consists of 16 Initial Operational Clearance (IOC) standards that were delivered in early 2019. The delivery of the second batch of 16 Full Operational Clearance (FOC) standard aircraft commenced in late 2019 and led to the formation of the second Tejas squadron — No. 18 Squadron IAF Flying Bullets — in Sulur on 27 May 2020. The IAF will also go on to receive eight twin-seat trainers. The next 83 are to be to the upgraded Mark 1A standard. By the time these first 123 are delivered, the Tejas Mark 2 is expected to be ready for series production by 2025–26.

Recent news says that India is likely to finalize the INR 40,000 crore contract for 83 Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas jets, 20% cheaper from previously quoted price, next February at DefExpo-2020 event in Lucknow city, Uttar Pradesh state. In November 2016, Defense Acquisition Council (DAC), India’s highest decision-making body on procurement, approved the purchase of Tejas Mark-1A fighters by the IAF at a cost of Rs 50,025 crore. Subsequent negotiations between defense ministry, Indian Air Force (IAF), and manufacturer Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) have helped bring down the price of the jets from INR 50,025 crore to INR 40,000 crore, Indian media reported late last week. “The draft contract of the deal has been readied by the HAL and the cost of the deal has now come down to around Rs 40,000 crore. This is Rs 10,000 crore less than the Acceptance of Necessity given by the Defense Ministry in 2016,” defense sources said. In December 2017, the IAF had issued a single-vendor tender to the HAL for procuring 83 LCA, but the negotiations and other related issues have been going on since then mainly due to issues over the price.

The aircraft will have improved serviceability, faster weapon-loading time, enhanced survivability, a better electronic warfare suite, an Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar that will significantly enhance its capability.  The Centre for Military Airworthiness and Certification (CEMILAC) had provided the Final Operational Clearance to the Tejas LCA earlier this year during Aero India in Bengaluru approving its capabilities including beyond visual range air-to-air and air-to-ground attack capabilities as well as longer endurance through mid-air refueling. In a previous order, the IAF had signed a deal with the HAL for 40 Tejas LCAs. So far, around 18 LCAs have been delivered to the IAF from the previous order.

CHILD SOLDIERS

Currently, 46 countries still recruit and train children under 18 years old. Children as young as 8 years old fight are the front lines act as spies, or supply weapons or lookouts or messengers or as suicide bombers or sexually exploited by the armies or non-state armed groups. Some of these children are either kidnapped or are forced to join these armed forces. Many are forced to join them because of financial constraints and social reasons; many are recruited by offering children with money or drugs.  Many girls are kidnapped and kept as sex slaves by the male fighters. These children are trained in weaponry to fight and are exposed to violent crimes that affect them mentally. Underage girls are recruited as sex slaves by male fighters. Currently, there are an estimated 250000 child soldiers in the world.

WHY CHILDREN ARE RECRUITED AS SOLDIERS

Despite the many drawbacks that children have they are more mouldable and can be indoctrinated easily. There are also many other reasons that children join the armed forces. Many join due to their financial backgrounds as they have to provide or make a contribution to their family, some join as their belief that the armed forces can keep them safe, lack of employment opportunities and poverty leads them to become child soldiers. Other children may be threatened or deceived into joining them by bribing the children with the hope of new friends or drugs. While others join on their own accord. Children who join on their own will join due to avenge their families or honor of fighting.

Effects on the children

Children who join these armed forces and groups are involved in violent initiation traditions where they kill their family members or friends to show loyalty to the group. Such kind of violent acts strains the relationship they have with their community and scar them mentally. Many of these children are trained to fight along the front lines or given secondary roles such as spies or cooks or messengers. Regardless of their job prescription, children are mentally affected. Many children have zero access to education and safe living conditions. Many children have psychological disorders such as post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, higher risk of violent behavior, high risk of suicide, and anti-social behavior. Girls are made into sex slaves and are violently assaulted and raped. They suffer from pre and post-pregnancy difficulties from rape. Rape affects girls mentally and physically. Due to unhygienic living conditions where there are no menstrual products and rape, they are more prone to getting UTIs or STDs. All these factors make rehabilitation a difficult process for children.

CASES OF CHILD SOLDIERS

AFRICA-

Many African countries still recruit child soldiers even though most African countries have agreed and ratified the African Charter of Rights and Welfare of The Child in 1990 which forbids the recruitment of children below the age of 18. The Democratic Republic of Congo has the highest number of child soldiers in the world. This is due to the first and second civil war in Congo which the army used by led by Thomas Lubanga Dyilo was 30 percent of children. A 2017 UN report on child soldiers in Africa said that the members of the terrorist military group in Somalia were 50 percent under the age of 18 and recruitment of child soldiers was also done by the Somali National Army.

MIDDLE EAST-

The Iranian government has started to recruit child soldiers from Iran and Afghanistan to participate in the Syrian civil war in 2018. Palestinian group Hamas which controls the Gaza strip still recruits children into its militia. The people’s Protection Units which is a militant Kurdish party in Iraq has abducted more than 200 children to enlist them into the Syrian civil war in 2018. Many non-state actors in the Syrian civil war have recruited child soldiers to participate in the war. Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have recruited children from Sudan to fight in the Yemini Civil war and the British SAS were allegedly involved in training these soldiers.

ASIA-

In Afghanistan, many child soldiers are recruited by the Taliban. In Myanmar, the government army recruits children from the young age of 11 years old were recruited in 2002 as reported by a UN report. The Moro Islamic Liberation Front and government-linked paramilitary forces were recruiting child soldiers, in 2016 this was discontinued but according to a UN report in 2017 other armed groups were still recruiting children.

EUROPE –

All European nations have agreed and ratified the Optional Protocol on the Involvement of Children in Armed Conflict, so the use of child soldiers isn’t in practice.

The ratification of the Optional Protocol on the Involvement of Children in Armed Conflict has significantly curbed the use of children in war as currently, 126 countries have ratified it. The treaty bans the recruitment of children under the age of 16 and also forbids non-state actors from recruiting children for any cause. The main struggle of child soldiers is their reintegration into society. Many of them have resentment and feel guilty about their community. It’s a very long process for them. They need to be given a safe environment, create a sense of forgiveness from the family. Most importantly need given access to education and support.   The use of children in armed conflict is a desperate human rights issue that needs to be resolved. This is a desperate human rights issue. The rights of these children must be protected. Government and non-state actors must make efforts to safeguard the rights of these children.

THE PRIME HAS STILL NOT VANISHED: THE TALE OF CRISTIANO AND MESSI

                                                                                                  -SHUBHANKAR

Has the prime got over? The question which circulates on everyone lips whenever Messi and Ronaldo come out to play for their clubs as well as their respective countries. Everything won except an international trophy by Leo Messi and everything won except the FIFA World Cup by Cristiano Ronaldo. The future of these players playing football certainly isn’t very long as there comes a point in every athletes life when he/she has to say goodbye to the game they gave there everything, and that day certainly isn’t very far off for these two legends of the beautiful game called Football.

Cristiano Ronaldo bursted onto the football field as a star when he was signed by Sir Alex Ferguson to play for the Red Devils at Old Trafford. The star in the making was rising there. Under the guidance of Manchester United legends like Sir Alex Ferguson himself, Wayne Rooney, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Rio Ferdinand, Luis Nani and many more to go with, Cristiano became a real star at Manchester United and all over the world. Who could forget that 2008 Champions League victory and after that the unbelievable transfer to Real Madrid in 2009 where he became a global star, probably we can say the Greatest of All Time (GOAT). Goals and goals are what we saw there at the time when he found his prime. Ballondors and Champions League kept on coming. Real Madrid and Cristiano won 3 Champions League in a row but then the news came of the transfer of Cristiano to Juventus, a new challenge? Maybe or maybe not. The speculations continue till date. And the first season in the Italian league saw Cristiano conquer Italy by winning the Seria, but couldn’t win the Champions League for a record 6th time. So, is the GOAT’s career really over? Has the prime finished? The answer to this question can certainly be no.

Yes, the goal scoring form may not be very consistent off late but the impact of Cristiano is certainly there to be seen by everyone whenever the legend turns up on the football field. That determination and passion at this age is what makes Cristiano different from many other footballers, except the other legend and probably his most competent rival, the legendary Barcelona and Argentine forward, Lionel Messi. Yes, the man with the most Ballondors in the history of football (6).

Lionel Messi has been a revolution in football. Be it those runs past 4-5 defenders or those magical goals, what can’t this man do. Messi came to Barcelona aged 13 and played for both its ‘C’ and ‘B’ teams before debuting for Barcelona in 2004. The young sensation then showed the world his skills and made the world bow down to him. Many criticized and raised questions about his height, being termed too small to play football, but the legend defined all odds. He has until now won 34 titles with Barcelona and maybe would end his footballing career where it all began, at the Nou Camp. Lionel Messi has been a great inspiration for many who want to quit because of people’s opinion about them. But has the magic ended?

The answer to it in my opinion is certainly no. Yes, the international defeats keep on coming and failure is a part of game, any game you play. Football is a team game and Messi has always been on the pioneer of success, but if the team doesn’t perform well, the blame shouldn’t be only thrown out to Messi. There are days when a player with his individual skills can win a game football for his/her team, Messi is one of them who has done it on a regular occasion, be it for Argentina or Barcelona.

In the end I want to say that respect is the ultimate thing we can give these two superstars of our generation rather than criticizing them or choosing who is the best among them. We should consider ourselves the luckiest generation to see these two greats play as even if one retires, the game of football will not be the same anymore, atleast for the 2000’s born kids. Legends is a very small word which describes them, they are formally known as the GOATS.

BIGGEST TWITTER HACK IN US

Some of the hackers, who cheat people and earn money always try to find ways to use the internet and social media platforms for their benefit. The earlier such hacks have been through online games, phishing, malware, smishing, insecure networks, physical security threats, etc. We all are aware of the very famous Ransom virus which affected a very large population. Over time, hackers change their ways to attack people and steal money.

The recent news is the twitter hack in the US of some billionaires. The Twitter accounts of Joe Biden, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Kanye West were among the tens of high-profile accounts that were hijacked last night. These accounts were then used to spread bitcoin scams and fool people into donating money through a link. Billionaires Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates are among many prominent US figures targeted by hackers on Twitter in an apparent Bitcoin scam. The official accounts of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Kanye West also requested donations in the cryptocurrency. “Everyone is asking me to give back,” a tweet from Mr. Gates’ account said. “You send $1,000, I send you back $2,000.”

“We’re looking into what other malicious activity they may have conducted or information they may have accessed and will share more here as we have it,” the company tweeted. Twitter said that once they became aware of what happened, they “immediately locked down” hacked accounts and removed the tweets sent on their behalf. Twitter also limited functionality for all verified accounts, including those that showed no evidence of being compromised, while they investigated the issue. “We have locked accounts that were compromised and will restore access to the original account owner only when we are certain we can do so securely,” Twitter said. “Internally, we’ve taken significant steps to limit access to internal systems and tools while our investigation is ongoing. More updates to come as our investigation continues.”

Twitter also acknowledged that the hacks were a coordinated social engineering attack by people who successfully “targeted some of our employees with access to internal systems and tools.” Screenshots of the panel being posted by users are being taken down as a violation of Twitter policies. “As per our rules, we’re taking action on any private, personal information shared in Tweets,” said a Twitter spokesperson.

Some leading cryptocurrency sites were also compromised on Wednesday. Cryptocurrency platforms like Coinbase and Gemini falsely “announced” they had partnered up with an organization called CryptoForHealth, through their Twitter accounts. They claimed that the organization was going to provide people with bitcoin as long as they sent some to an address first. Other prominent Twitter accounts that were hacked were that of President Barack Obama, Kim Kardashian West, Warren Buffett, Jeff Bezos, and Mike Bloomberg. Official accounts of Uber and Apple tweeted out a post that was a spam message. The spam message directed readers to invest bitcoin in the wallet address that was provided in the tweets and claimed that they would get double the money they spend.

In The Pursuit of Happiness

Photo by David Orsborne from Pexels

If there’s one thing which will be said about happiness, it’s that it’s wholly and utterly subjective. What makes one person happy — picking flowers on a sunny day, perhaps — may make another person decidedly unhappy. John Locke, however, believed that happiness is the wild of humanity. As Locke wrote on the topic, humans “are drawn by the forces of delight and repulsed by pain” Exactly what gives that pleasure, again, varies widely. Researchers believe that the buildup of wealth may be a major source of delight. Material gain within the sorts of money, property, and private possessions is not the only way most people pursue happiness, however.

In the same poll, people that were married — regardless of what their income level was — were happier than single people. Although we may sometimes neglect to cultivate our happiness, feeling happy is intrinsically important. If we are happy it’s added play effects and benefits. These include us becoming more compassionate and feeling healthier both physically and emotionally. We become more creative, witty, energetic, and fun to be around and it also can lead us to become more financially successful. Very few folks live our lives in complete isolation. We will have partners, families, friends, and work colleagues with whom we interact on a day to day so if we’re happy, then it’s likely to mean that they’ll feel happier too. Therefore, through our happiness, we are giving something to people too, and enabling them to feel happy also.

For happiness to be attained, it’s important to be open and willing to the concept that it is often attained. For us to try to do this, we’d like to rid ourselves of the negative energies which occur in our lives daily and which cause us to feel unhappy or at the best, make us feel as if we are simply existing or drifting through life. Remember, it’s a natural state to feel happy. We are all programmed to feel happy because of the norm. It’s what we let get within the way that alters our programming for the worst. Therefore, by ridding ourselves of negative thoughts, self-doubts, rationalizing problems and seeing them as challenges to be overcome, we get obviate feelings like depression, fear, worry, dissatisfaction, boredom, and grief then, by ridding ourselves of those, all that’s left is happiness, contentment, and peace of mind.

Some will wonder how we will do that when numerous negative things happen to us. In answer thereto, it’s because we LET this stuff. After all, us to possess negative reactions. For example, we’ll have all gone to figure and had a nasty day and are available away carping to a colleague, “The boss got my copy today”. However, he only did that because YOU let him have that effect on you.

In truth, nobody can ever make someone feel anything. Outside behaviors and influences have the facility to trigger negative thoughts but which will only happen if you permit it to. Change the way you answer those triggers and consequently they will haven’t any effect on inflicting any quite misery upon you. This won’t encounter as being a simple thing to try to but if you consciously make the trouble and tell yourself that you simply are getting to be happy and that no-one has the proper to form you are feeling unhappy or can take those feelings away, then you’re in sole control of your feelings of happiness and it’s an incontrovertible fact that by placing happiness at the cornerstone of your very existence, then you’ll be far more effective at creating the type of world you would like.

Science and God

“Science” and “God”, the two words which are often seen as separate entities. These words seem conflicting to most of us and are often a topic of debate. Science seems to question the existence of God and believers of God often question why we are unable to explain the entire universe completely by science to date, a question on the success of science. We can often come across debates on televisions, radio, magazines, etc where people try to prove one as superior over the other. But, are they really two different things? Are they conflicting terms? Or are they same?

images

A deeper thought over it can clear our confusion. If we deep dig, we find that indeed both are the same. We really don’t need to choose between them. Science and God, are superior powers. The differences arise when we start associating God with some particular religion and Science with the only education. In reality, science is the process of thinking God’s thought after him. “An equation is really nothing unless it expresses a thought of God”, according to Ramanujan. They both actually merge at the spiritual level.

When we talk of science, it is the theories, the fundamental laws that very well explains the nature around us. It offers an explanation of all the natural phenomena in a very beautiful way and at a very basic level. It helped us understand how to converse in the language of nature, i.e in mathematics. It gives human power. The more we as humans understand science, the more powerful we become. Visit the days when humans started to understand science to get to know about the secrets of nature, the things they imagined then are now a reality. The gadgets they considered as their dreams are now in our hands. The technology we imagine today will also become a reality pretty soon. Science gave a power to humans to achieve the impossible.

download

God, on the other hand, is another superiority. There has been no proper evidence of someone seeing a God. We have not seen God, but we all believe in a “power” that is superior to all of us and many refer to this superior power as “God”. God gives humans the strength and power by making us understand the language of love and humanity. Spirituality is the heart of a human being and through God, we reach here. God helps us understand our potential and make us believe in our strengths. It changes our perception and makes the world a very beautiful and peaceful place for us. The world is incomplete without God.

We can thus conclude,  that both Science and God are a source of immense power to human beings and both are tied together. Both speak the same language. The more faith we develop in God, the more we get close to science, the more we understand science, our belief in the existence of God becomes stronger. Louis Pasteur rightly said that “a bit of science can distance us from God, but more of it nears one to him”, and that is for sure. Diving deep into them will give us immense power and peace.

The fertilizer pattern by using farmers

The purpose of this type is to evaluate the pattern of fertilizer consumption, production trend in India and suggest the sustainable fertilizer based on requirement of various crop, aggro climate zones, soil, and climate. The data for major for fertilizer consuming based on zones and state helps us to understand consumption pattern in our country. During the period of 2007-2011 it was observed the west zone consumption 31,116,73 kiloton’s of fertilizer which was the highest among the four one and was also having highest total annual compound growth rate percentage of 9.68 Among major consuming state of the india Uttar Pradesh was found to be consuming maximum fertilizer, that are 16,621,29 kiloton’s Rice and wheat are the major crops which are consuming 37% and 24% of the fertilizer consumed in india among various crops Climate factor, like rainfall pattern have a very crucial role in this the consumption of fertilizer of as demand increase area of the irrigated.

Agriculture is one of the most important economic activities in almost all the developing countries and also in India. Fertile soil is important for increasing agricultural production. Excess usage of chemical fertilizers is one of the reasons for decline in soil fertility. Public policy plays an important role in influencing the behavior of the farmers. The present chapter reviews the research studies relating to public policy and its impact on agricultural sector. Several researchers have made attempts to evaluate the impact of Agricultural policy on the Soil Fertility Management Practices (SFM). Agricultural policy has been analyzed focusing on its impact on production, prices, exports etc. Similarly, studies on SFM are focused on the documentation of SFM practices under different agronomic conditions and factors influencing SFM.

EMPIRICAL STUDIES

Empirical literature on impact of agricultural policies has been classified into three sections focusing on the following issues:

 1. The studies related to Agriculture, Agricultural policy and Cropping Pattern.

2. The studies on Fertilizer policy and Fertilizer consumption.

3. The studies about Soil fertility management practices.

Various data mining techniques are implemented on the input data to assess the best performance yielding method. The present work used data mining techniques PAM, CLARA and DBSCAN to obtain the optimal climate requirement of wheat like optimal range of best temperature, worst temperature and rain fall to achieve higher production of wheat crop. Clustering methods are compared using quality metrics. According to the analyses of clustering quality metrics, DBSCAN gives the better clustering quality than PAM and CLARA, CLARA gives the better clustering quality than the PAM. The proposed work can also be extended to analyze the soil and other factors for the crop and to increase the crop production under the different climatic conditions.

The paper also aims to recommend that fertilizers should be used in a balanced manner through integrated management of nutrient involving the use of chemical fertilizers, bio fertilizers, compost and vermicompost. Balanced use of fertilizers will reduce harmful effects of chemical fertilizers on the environment and will help in making our agriculture sustainable. It also increases water and nutrients use efficiency, improve grain quality, soil health and give better economic returns to farmers and helps in sustainability. So, for sustainable growth in agriculture sector, it is imperative to reduce demand of chemical fertilizers without hampering food production.

Finding inner PEACE through spirituality

Spirituality can be defined broadly as a sense of connection to something higher than ourselves. Many people search for meaning in their lives in the realization phase . The seeking of answer to the questions – “Who am I ?” ,” The meaning and purpose of my life”. Ofcourse , spirituality gives a convincing answer to these questions. It definitely helps us to find the means and purpose in a rapidly changing world. The spirituality guides you on the way towards enlightenment. In simple terms , it is a journey to our personal awareness using our sixth sense.
Spirituality can be considered as a sacred dimension and to be more precise , the “inner dimension”. It is really the “deepest values and meanings by which people live” , such as a belief in a supernatural (beyond the known and observable) realm religious experience etc. It is the quality or the feeling of being concerned with the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things. This implies , that spirituality has to do with the spirit, as in the essence of being human — your soul or your inner life. Religions usually have defined beliefs, rituals etc; spirituality is more specific at an individual level.

Seeking a meaningful connection with something bigger than yourself can result in increased positive emotions. Transcendent moments are filled with peace, awe, and contentment—fusion of emotional and spiritual wellbeing , like most aspects of wellbeing. Other emotions related to transcendent moments are compassion , gratitude ,appreciation ,inspiration ,admiration, elevation and love. These emotions have a particular capability of bonding individuals together and are linked gradually with the higher levels of spirituality.
Spirituality is universally connective in the realization that suffering is a part of human existence. Religion also promotes human virtues such as honesty, forgiveness, gratefulness, patience, and dependability, which help to maintain and enhance social relationships. The practice of these human virtues may also directly increase positive emotions and neutralize negative ones.

Communication Skills

Communication is the medium through which people convey their opinions, feelings and emotions. It is the key to build a relationship but sometimes ineffective communication ways may create more barriers. That is why it becomes necessary to possess good communication skills.

Effective communication is more than just relaying the message to the listener. The one on the receiving end should be able to comprehend the message as well as the speaker’s intentions clearly with the said words. If not done correctly, this can create misunderstandings and spoil relationships. For some, communication may come easily while others may have to struggle with their words. Nevertheless, one can improve their communication skills by practicing or adopting certain tactics:

Being an active listener:

Good communication involves the active participants of both the speaker and the listener. Keep focus on what the person is saying and trying to tell you. If you will be able to understand the message clearly, you will also be able to respond appropriately. Not only pay attention to the words but also on the non-verbal clues. A person’s body language tells a lot and may make it easier to understand the tone as well as the nature of the conversation.

Avoid interrupting:

Try not to interrupt the speaker and wait for your turn.

Show genuine interest:

If you are disinterested, it will show on your face and the speaker may notice it. Try to encourage the speaker by saying short verbal comments in between.

Try not to be biased:

One doesn’t have to agree with every idea or opinion of the person but it is necessary to keep aside the criticism and try to understand from the other person’s perspective.

Pay attention to your own non-verbal clues:

Your non-verbal signals should align with what you are speaking. Otherwise, the other person may feel confused. Refrain from spreading around any kind of negative body energy. Be assertive with your speech and try to set the tone of the conversation as neutral. All the parties involved should get the chance to voice their opinions and not feel threatened to do so. Direct and clear dialogue should be maintained for an effective communication.

Communication can be an effective medium to build relationships, both personal as well as professional. If done effectively, it builds mutual trust and can deepen the connections.

PERIOD POVERTY

According to UNICEF records, 26% of the world’s female population is in the reproductive age yet menstruation or any other topic related to it is shamed and ostracized in many parts of the world. In India, only 12% of menstruators have any access to proper menstruation products and 88 % have zero to little access to any proper menstruation products. This is the most practical explanation of the term period of poverty. Period poverty is the lack of access to menstrual products and menstrual hygiene education due to financial constraints or cultural misconceptions about menstruation. Period poverty doesn’t stop at menstruation products but it also includes the safe waste disposal of menstrual products and clean washing facilities. In India, there is clear discrimination on menstruating women due to religious myths and taboos about periods. While talking about period poverty it is also important to acknowledge that all women do not menstruate and not all menstruators are women. Many women suffer from medical conditions which renders them unable to menstruate.
Menstruation continues to be one of the main reasons why girls drop out of school in India. Lack of proper toilet facilities, lack of menstrual products, and the absence of education or awareness of menstruation and its hygiene practices are stated as the reasons as to why girls drop out of schools. India has exempted menstrual products is a good move but seeing that only 12% of the menstruating population has access to them.

LACK OF AWARENESS
The absence of logical awareness of periods is a major problem in India. A study by NGO Dasra in 2014 stated that 70 percent of mothers consider that menstruation as dirty and 71 of the girls had no awareness about menstruation before they experience it themselves. With no knowledge about periods or proper products to use, women and young girls resort to using rag clothes and old clothes which are unhygienic and have many physical health risks and UTIs. Schools were also not very helpful in raising awareness about periods because it is still considered as a taboo to speak about it. Schools usually refrain from talking about menstrual hygiene to their students. An average of 40 percent of girls misses out on school on account of menstruation due to no proper period products or washing facilities. Because talks about menstruation are shunned by society due to religious myths and taboos many girls refrain from talking about it or educating themselves about it.

LACK OF SANITARY PRODUCTS –
Out of 355 million female populations in India, only 12 percent have access to menstrual products. Since in rural areas the concept of menstruation is hardly talked about, sanitary pads or tampons are not found easily. Because menstruation products are not considered essential products and the social stigma which causes the lack of demand shops in rural India do not have period products. Due to the lack of sanitary pads or napkins women use old cloths or rags or old socks and other methods to absorb period blood which is unhygienic and could put a women’s health at risk. Many problems related to unhygienic menstruation include cervical cancer, UTIs and anemia could be avoided with the use of proper period products.

GOVERNMENT SCHEMES FOR MENSTRUAL
The first such measure taken by the government of India was-Freeday Pad Scheme in 2010 to provide sanitary pads at low rates (RS.6 per pack) for rural girls, it was launched in 20 states. In 2011 the government launched the SABLA scheme which along with pads at subsidized rates it also provided girls education of menstrual health. In 2014, Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram was launched as a sanitation program for 243 million students and menstrual hygiene was a main part of the program. The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan allocated funds to improve menstrual hygiene and raising awareness in rural India.

Conditions for menstruating women can only increase when menstruation is commonly conversed about and its social stigma is banished. India’s first option is to spread awareness about menstrual hygiene and its importance. Many of the problems that women face during menstruation can be avoided by using period products. Simultaneously with awareness, sanitary napkins must be made available to women in rural areas that encompass over 300 million women. By normalizing menstruation and by educating women and men about it will bring down the stigma about periods and will help reducing period poverty

ACCIDENTS DO NOT HAPPEN, BUT ARE MADE

Accidents do happen almost daily in one part of the country or the other just because we don’t care or just start worrying about it only after the inevitable has overtaken us. It may be a boat tragedy in Bihar, or a collision between a speeding train and a bus at an unmanned level crossing, or hundreds of road accidents happening in cities or the countryside, or the occasional train accidents, or air crashes, or the deluge triggered when a check dam gives way sweeping away habitations, or infernos in schools, cinema halls, marriage pandals, or fire in high rise buildings. The list of such accidents could be endless. When such things happen, we blame everything else except ourselves.

Take road accidents. A rough estimate long ago put the number of deaths on the roads in India at around a lakh every year. It must be more now with lakhs of vehicles of different descriptions entering our highways, city streets and village roads. None knows the number of injured and those incapacitated for life. Speed kills, especially, when the man behind the wheel goes beyond the legally permissible limits in certain zones of the city. You court disaster when you lose your sense of judgment and start driving after fully drunk at a dinner in a part or a hotel. Often you come across the hoarding. “Don’t mix driving with drinking”.

On Highways between Delhi and Jaipur or other cities like Chandigarh and Ludhiana or Chennai and Trichy, one would daily notice a goods carrier overturned with the voluminous contents of the vehicle scattered on the road. Here are drivers who work for prolonged hours for their living and they wouldn’t know when they fall asleep. Fatigue and overwork take their toll. A brake failure or a mechanical defect, all caused by failure by the vehicle owners to get their vehicles checked up or serviced periodically.

In several instances of road accidents, the government turns out to be the number one villain. Speed breakers or humps are not properly marked with the result riders of two wheelers coming at high speeds, can easily be thrown off their seats and can cause fatal accidents. Roads are in bad shape in many cities in several States. Different departments – the Electricity Department, the Telephone Department, Sewerage Wing and the Water Department – working with the least coordination among themselves, dig up the sideways of the roads or across the road by turn and leave them in awful condition creating the right conditions for accidents. And nobody takes any responsibility if any mishap happens.

Boat accidents create small news inside cover pages. Road accidents are routine even though they kill 1,00,000 people in the country every year. A rail accident or air crash is a good subject for banner headlines or for the channels to “break news”. But wherever an enquiry is conducted, one would find human error as the underlying factor. Accidents are bound to happen when a boat carries more than the capacity it is supposed to take. Vehicles collide with a speeding train at an unmanned rail crossing as the driver of the vehicle commits a fatal mistake and has to pay a dear price because of his error of judgement.

Now the situation has been changed due to Covid 19 pandemic. The accidents has decreased. There is no traffic jam. People are not busy with their work so the main streets are clean without waste and noise. An invisible virus is now able to control humanity which restricts the movement and actions where the law failed.

How to Help !

If You really want to help someone believe me you don’t need to help them ,yes this is a fact that if you help someone or you can help someone then don’t do so please! Don’t do so because it’s worthless but if you help someone in a different way like :you can encourage them to work on there on so that they can earn their livelihood so if you can help in this manner then it would be great full for all , what was tge motive arround it? The main motive is to make our youth more worthy and not only youth it’s all about our whole indian population and it’s totally up on us …., So would you like to help ?

The wisdom of crowdsourcing

Nestle’s Maggi is one of the most loved food brands in India. Maggi has to turn into the beloved and utmost enjoyed food of all ages. Perceiving the enthusiasm, Nestle in 2011 presented the “Guess the Taste” scheme. They requested supporters to estimate the taste of new, unidentified taste of veggie noodles and name the noodles for the company in India. Theses mystery-flavored noodles are being vended across India in package striking with a unique question mark. In the process, Nestle received more than 45000 consumers entries with their recommended names for the taste. “Guess the taste” scheme follows other fruitful endeavors by Nestle’s Maggi brand to identify and advance its long and prosperous relationship with consumers in India.
This example summaries the usage of crowdsourcing for market concepts and resolutions, comprising a name for a freshly improved taste. When industries crowdsource, they request the community for opinions, knowledge, and views to aid them to produce improved products and services. By crowdsourcing, businesses can tap into a vast group of people’s knowledge and expertise, guaranteeing a variety of concepts, advanced creation, and cost-cutting, from the time when they don’t require to hire new, in-house employees. Companies who crowdsource generally decode gigantic missions into individual errands, which permits them to assign hundreds of thousands of people small jobs that they can work on by themselves. In publicizing, companies use crowdsourcing to create marketing materials such as a logo, jingle, or ad. Furthermore, crowdsourced marketing campaigns frequently include the customers submitting and voting on materials.
When the UK labor party developed its first Advertisement for the general election campaign in April 2010, they used the talents of their supporters to design the advertisement. The party’s advertising agency, Saatchi invited supporters to respond to an online brief to design their first election billboard poster and received around 1000 responses.

Impact of COVID-19 on the Indian Workforce

How Covid-19 Might Change Indian Feminist Narratives For Eternity

Increasing confirmed cases in India of Coronavirus had caused a drastic disruption in the lives of people. The economy is hit, and a slowdown has been expected. The lockdown has put the life in India to a standstill, and every industry is putting recruitment on hold or laying off workers and making decisions regarding pay cuts. The automotive and IT sectors are suffering the most, as there was a significant dependence on exports and imports. The economy is also being affected by the same, i.e., the supply irregularities due to modifications in international trade policies. We can look for a silver lining in this situation as the Indian industries might emerge as the major suppliers in the areas of pharmaceuticals and textiles. The significant impact is on the people running all these industries. The country is not only facing economic losses but also human resource losses. These are both physical and psychological. This is discussed further by dividing the workforce into three types – a) Daily wage workers, b) Normal Employees, c) Managers/Head of Departments/Companies.

The needs of different workers have been explained using Maslow’s Need Hierarchy theory in this article it is assumed that the conditions stated in his theory hold true.

Daily wage workers and urban poor include the people working in the agricultural sector, construction sites, car washers in a typical scenario. But with progress in technologies and companies like Uber, Ola, Zomato, etc. coming up, the delivery boys, cab drivers etc. are also people who might earn a monthly income but are still in a job with little assurance of income. Then there are mechanics, vegetable vendors, etc. with no fixed payment as well. All of the above mentioned and many others have been left with no means to earn a livelihood after the lockdown was imposed to contain COVID-19’s spread in India. The closing hotels and restaurants and little movement on the streets have left many people devoid of income.

For these people, the main aim is to earn a livelihood and secure their income for tomorrow. Their needs can be related to the first and second need defined in the Malow’s need hierarchy, i.e., physiological and safety needs. These people have not moved up and do not crave recognition in the organization as such. Most of them are not even a part of any organization as well. These people will be affected the most since there can be three possible scenarios. First being that they might become too dependent on the government aid being provided to them during the lockdown period. Second, if their locus of control is external, they might end up being depressed and let the suffering take a toll on them. Third, if their locus of control is internal, they might strive to make their situation better after the lockdown period and prepare in advance for any future pandemic.

The people who will breed on government’s aid might become lethargic and lack the motivation to do work again. They will be forced to do work after the conditions normalize, and this will cause them to be dissatisfied because of their mindset of receiving without working. The people who have an external locus of control, which encompasses most of this population because poor people might not always give priority to mindset development, will suffer the most. They will keep blaming the authorities and the external conditions and will let the pandemic disrupt their lives. The people who have an internal locus of control might try to make the best of their current situation while planning for the future.

The normal workers are the ones working in the corporate world and are related to certain organizations and are financially stable. These workers are facing layoff and pay – cut tensions as almost every organization is trying to manage finances with the economy coming

down. Some organizations have decided to not take this path such as DLF limited, which did not take a pay – cut and is not even retrenching the workforce.

Companies outside India like Tesla has decided to do the opposite. It laid off all the non- essential workers till May 4 and even took a pay cut of 10%. Around 3,000 workers were also laid off by Sephora. In India, most of the companies and start-ups are following the same path. Techolution laid off 20 workers in Telangana. Acko, an online insurance firm, laid off 50 employees. Fareportal, a travel firm based in the US, cut off on 500 workers in India.

Bounce, a transportation network company, has decided to take 20-60% pay cuts. All these measures are being taken to ensure that the organizations have finances to run their business when the conditions normalize. Some companies are taking initiatives not to lay off workers and continue working from home, but it is also a challenge only around 5% of their employees have Wi-Fi at their homes.

The people working in these organizations can be classified into three types based on their needs. First are those who still are struggling to fulfil their safety needs in the Maslow need hierarchy. Second, are those who have affiliation and esteem needs that are to be satisfied, and the third category is of those people whose self-actualization needs are too satisfied.

A relation between locus of control and motivation level can be established as people who tend to struggle in fulfilling their safety needs are usually stuck at the external locus of control. Thus, such people will feel unmotivated and distressed during the period of lockdown as their need for security won’t be fulfilled due to the retrenchment process going on in many organizations.

People who require the feeling of belongingness and are out to fulfil their esteem needs might make use of this lockdown period if they have access to the required resources. There can be two categories in these people as well. Some might spend their time leisurely, but the ones with an internal locus of control will try to improve their skillset and use the time productively.

This is also a great opportunity for people who want to satisfy their need for self-actualization as now they can serve the community and do something helpful for society. Some professionals are doing it be it situational or be it out of their sense of duty, for example, the doctors, policeman, etc.

The people who are at managing positions in the organizations have different problems altogether. That set of the workforce is influenced by their type of commitment towards their organization. The people who have an affective commitment towards the firm they work with will be the people who will help these firms to recover after the lockdown. They will be forced to think creatively so that they can sustain their finances and help the company grow. A few examples of such people are Deep Kalra and Rajesh Magow the founders of MakeMyTrip have decided to take 100% pay cut and not affect the salaries of their employees.

Then some people have a normative or continuance commitment towards the organization and might not be willing to put in efforts to contribute to the organization. They would probably plan for their secure future and their savings.

Thus, COVID-19 won’t only be impacting the population physically, but it also has left so many people psychological affected. The organizations like Sephora, are also trying to help their workers by assuring that once the conditions normalize, they might consider taking the laid-off workers back. Bridged is also taking initiatives to help employees during this time of self-isolation by making a service available so that people can talk to someone and share their problems.

There is a strong need to balance out the focus on running the organizations and taking care of the employees. Similar initiatives are required to focus and develop the workforce in India because of it one of the things the country will rely on reviving the economy after the pandemic ends.

Some measures that the organizations can take are that they can host free webinars for their employees and even for the laid-off workers to give an insight into the skills that would be required in the coming times.

There can also be awareness spread about how to take care of their mental health along with physical health. Also, there is a need to let the population staying at home right now know how essential it is to develop their skills. The silver lining in this tough situation is that we might end up with a more skilled workforce. This is because people might choose not to get into jobs for some time and pursue higher education.

The main crux of the situation is that it is necessary to address their needs keeping in mind the feasibility aspect as well because that is the essence of organizational behaviour. Human resource cannot be ignored totally to sustain organizations because even if the companies manage to use finances wisely, there would still be a need for employees to ensure future success.

Electric Fire Alarm

The Fire Alarm system is designed to alert us to an the emergency then that we can take action to protect like ourselves. Fire Alarm are found in the offices, Factories, and the public, building, They are to our everyday routine but are often overlook until is an a emergency at which point, they might just our lives.

Whatever the method are of the detection is, it the alarm is triggered, sounders will operate to warn people in the building that they are make be are fire and to evacuated. The fire alarm system may be also the incorporate a remote a single system which is could be then alert the fire brigade via a center station.

Fire detection system? In this article, we will have at a look the structure and the type of the” Fire Alarm system”. The brain is a fire detector system is the fire alarm control panel. It is the central hub all of the unit can be set up to simulate an alarm for use to be routine and fire evacuated drills, all the staff knows what was to take this event of a real fire.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF FIRE ALARM DETECTOR: At the core of a alarm system the device, from sophisticated smoke detectors to simple manually operate break glass unit. there are a wide array of different types, but we are divide them into include.

At core fire alarm system are the detection devices, from sophisticated intelligent smoke detectors to smile manually operate break glass units, as a wide array to different types, we can divide them into group include. Head Detectors. Smoke Detectors. Carbon Monoxide detectors. Multi- sensor detectors.

HOW TO FIRE ALARM SYSTEM WORK

Contemporary fire alarm system use automatic functions to detect the occurrence of that they may result in a fire. They receive a single from the fire sensor and automatically transmit it to fore the alarm panel.

In the wireless system, the detector to the control panel is with radio frequency. Heat detector usually have build in the sense of heat. Carbon monoxide detectors use integrated chemical, opto- chemical or biochemical cells to trace the gas. Smoke detector use photo electrical or ionization to detect smoke or combustion particles. Combination detector use a mechanisms.

The fire alarm panel activities the flashers the sonders, turns on sprinklers or makes a call to authorities to the occupants. If the alarm is adressable, the occurrence will be on the control panel.

Liverpool finally end their long wait for premier league glory

Liverpool has won the most amount of silverware in the entire premier league with that being said the last time they won the Premier League was 30 years ago. Jurgen Klopp’s team have managed to end that drought even before the season officially ended this is because mathematically Man City cannot catch up to them anymore because Liverpool have too big of a lead. The ex Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has been a blessing for Liverpool because he has managed to make a mediocre team great once again within 5 years of him being with the english club.

Liverpool’s German manager Jurgen Klopp looks on during the English Premier League football match between Aston Villa and Liverpool at Villa Park in Birmingham, central England on November 2, 2019.

The club had come very close last year to winning the premier league and because of that they had been very gutted. However, they took their revenge this year on the ex-champions Man city and they stole the trophy away from them. The captain, Virgil Van Dijk was incredibly proud of himself and the team “This journey from when I joined the club. I’m very proud to call myself a Premier League winner…”

RNA editing in Coleoids

A Cephalopod is any member of the molluscan class cephalopoda such as Octopus, Squid and Nautilus. These exclusively marine animals are characterized by bilateral body symmetry, a prominent head, and a set of arms or tentacles. Cephalopods, namely octopus, squid and cuttlefish form a subclass referred to as coleoids. The coleoids are invertebrates but may possess some of the most intelligent species among all of invertebrates.

Octopus vulgaris, widely referred to as the common octopus is one such organism. Apart from the fact that octopus has a complex nervous system and sophisticated behavior, arms capable of a wide range of movement, developed eyes, chemoreceptors located in epidermis, suckers, mouth, etc., the recent discovery of high level of RNA editing makes the organism more competent than its companions. This mechanism of RNA editing gives it a way to face environmental changes. It also turns out that this may cause them and their cephalopod brethren to evolve differently from any other organism on the planet. Their great adaptability can be linked to their ability to edit some of their genes, changing RNA that encodes proteins.

In most organisms, the genetic information is transmitted relatively faithfully from DNA to RNA, and on into proteins but studies have shown that octopus along with squids and cuttlefish deviate from this trend and use their own enzymes to edit their RNA, producing proteins that differ from those encoded by DNA.

In 2015, the researchers discovered that the common squid has edited more than 60% of RNA in its nervous system. This brought about a change in its brain physiology and is assumed to confer an ability to adapt to various temperature conditions in the ocean. In 2017, the same team returned with new findings that revealed that at least two species of octopus and one cuttlefish do the same thing. Joshua Rosenthal and his team’s work involved analysis of not only thousands of different squids but also of other molluscan organisms like gastropod slug and nautilus. But unlike the coleoids, the aforementioned didn’t give any hints of straying away from the conventional mechanism. This led to a conclusion that RNA editing couldn’t be generalized for the entire molluscan phylum and was rather limited tot he coleoid subclass. In exchange of this remarkable adaptation, these alien like creatures have given up the ability to evolve relatively quickly. These coleoids don’t evolve like other organisms and this may one day lead them to become useful for humans. During transcription in an animal cell, duplication of the A,T,C and G nucleotides into RNA strands of A,T,C and U takes place. After transcription, introns are spliced out and the remaining sequence is read in a designated fashion. But sometimes, a special sequence in the RNA lets it hook up with an enzyme that edits a single spot in the RNA, turning an A into an I, which the ribosome interprets as a G. It may seem like a minor change but it changes the entire function of a protein. An animal could use RNA editing to change how its proteins work if its environmental changes.

The natural selection seems to have favored RNA editing in coleoids even though it slows down the DNA-based evolution, the reason is wrapped in some double-stranded clover-leaves that form alongside editing sites in the RNA. That information is like a tag for RNA editing. According to Rosenthal studies, RNA editing provides a faster mechanism to try out slightly different protein shapes and sizes and functions. This provides a way for the genome to evolve more slowly than those of other organisms. Eisenberg lists other possible advantages of RNA editing rather than mutations in the DNA. Some of the important contents of the list include- (1)Editing could occur selectively at specific conditions. (2)Editing could be partial, with only a fraction of the reads edited, resulting in coexistence of both edited and non-edited forms of proteins.

In order to maintain flexibility of editing RNA, these coleoids have had to give up on the ability to evolve in their surrounding regions which may have been worth it for them. Rosenthal hypothesizes that development of a complex brain was worth the price of having to evolve slowly. Many of the edited proteins were found in the brain tissue, creating the elaborate dendrites and axons of the neurons turning the shape of the electrical signals that neurons pass. It may also be possible that RNA editing (means of creating a more sophisticated brain) allowed these species to use tools, camouflage themselves, and communicate.

Further objective of Rosenthal’s study is to develop ways of genetically manipulating cephalopods. If he succeeds, he could disable the enzymes responsible for RNA editing and then see what happens.

USA plans to withdraw visas for foreign students

Indian IT companies to be hit as US bans work visas till end of year | coronavirus outbreak News,The Indian Express

What is Visa

What is a American VisaA citizen of a foreign country who seeks to enter the United States generally must first obtain a U.S. visa, which is placed in the traveler’s passport, a travel document issued by the traveler’s country of citizenship.

USA the 3rd most populated country with the largest economy has always been the educational hub for the students all over the world. The USA has the 2nd largest higher education in the world and hence has world’s largest international student population. Students prefer to study in USA because the country has some of the top universities in the world which provides ample of career opportunities. But unfortunately this year the international students in the USA might face problems and might be forced to leave the country.

Corona virus pandemic has already affected many countries by killing more than 5 lac people and USA being the country with highest number of deaths. Apart from this it has also affected the economy of the country. For the first time the economy of the United States has gone into recession since global financial crises of 2008-09. Due to the slowdown in economy the country has lost 20.6 million jobs since mid march. So during this pandemic USA has temporarily banned several visa holders to preserve the interest of Americans.

One such visa is F-1 VISA, it is a type of visa that allows a person to enter the United States as a full time student to attend an academic program or English language program at a US college or University. F-1 visas are not designed as work visas so it does not permit students to work in the United States. But students are allowed to work on campus up to 20 hours per week during regular semesters.

Since USA is planning to withdraw F-1 visas students holding this visa or who were planning to apply for this visa will be affected by this move. This withdrawal can only take place when all the classes goes online. This move will force international or F-1 visa holders to leave the country. But that doesn’t mean they have to leave their courses, they can continue their course through online classes from their home countries . But in case if the university starts offering hybrid method of teaching which is a combination of both offline and online classes , then students can stay back in the country and continue their studies. Students who are not interested to leave the country can also transfer their course to another university that offers both online and offline classes.

This move will also impact around 2 lac Indian students who are are currently pursuing higher education in the USA. India and USA has different time zones which will create problem for Indian students to cope up with the USA time for online classes, also access to consistent internet connectivity is another problem for students . Students are now in a state of confusion as the rules are not well defined as nobody knows for how long F-1 visas are banned and for how long they will have to stay away from the USA.

Also if student fails to return back to their home countries then they might face future bans, on entry into the USA. Though India has raised this issue to US , The country decided to consider the issue by maintaining the best interest of the students.

Apart from F-1 visa many other visas are banned by the Trump administration. Such as H-1B visas for workers in specialty occupations , H-4 visas for spouses , l-1 visas for intra company transfers and H-2B visas for temporary non agricultural workers.

What Bollywood has taught us?

When one hears of Bollywood, they think it’s all about dance, music, romance, comedy, and drama. But Bollywood has more to offer. Whatever we learn comes from the movies we watch. In today’s time, it triggers the minds of Indian youth. It allows them to set a thought process. Films are not just a source of entertainment anymore. Below is a list of few movies that give us real-life lessons.

– Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara: This movie taught us to push yourself out of the comfort zone and face your fears. It makes you want to pause and thank your life realizing how good it is despite all the hardships. It shows you how to appreciate true friends.

– Ye Jawani hai Deewani: Bunny teaches Naina that she is good just the way she is. There is no need to change herself just to fit in. We must have met a people pleaser like this at some point in our life or even we are at times. Maybe we should also embrace ourselves and live life unapologetically. Naina teaches us- no matter where we go in our lives, we will always miss out on something. So appreciate where you are at a point in time.

Baar Baar Dekho: This movie has taught us to live in the present moment and appreciate the people we have in our lives. We can never get the time back, so we should always spend it wisely. In the age of gadgets, it’s a great wake-up call to disconnect from the phone every once in a while and experience life fully.

Kal ho Na ho: As the title says “Kal ho na ho” meaning ‘There may or may not be a tomorrow,’ totally defines what the movie is all about. Aman teaches Naina to open up and be vulnerable, which allows her to express her emotions which she repressed for so long. Sometimes we need that confidence from someone, that yes we too can share our feelings. The biggest lesson to take away from this movie is to remember that every day we are alive is a gift. Life should never be taken for granted.

Dangal: This movie is a must-watch! It shows two women breaking stereotypes and gender roles in the best possible way. It teaches us not to be full of ourselves when we become successful. It shows women can do anything that men can do.

Apart from these, many other Bollywood movies have meaningful lessons for us. So sit back, relax, and binge-watch a few Bollywood movies. I am sure you won’t regret it.

Safe-guarding hubs

MASH stands for multi-agency safeguarding hub, which aspires to provide safety and security to the more vulnerable children and young people. They bring professional health care support, social services, police, local authorities to meet their objectives. Different agencies under MASH come together to design a collective approach and this collective approach is dispatched to all in a clear and concise manner so that every individual can resonate with the ultimate goal.

According to the London safeguarding children board, following agencies should be involved in MASH: Children’s social care, Health, Police, Education, Probation, Housing and Youth offending service.

Core features of multi-agency safeguarding hub:

1.Working together approach: It is an agreement between all the agencies involved that nothing can be achieved if only one agency or authority works towards their respective aims. They manifest this working together approach so that everyone learns to take responsibility on their parts to get the work done sincerely.

2.More accurate assessment of risks and needs: The working together approach has improved the ability to gather sources form wide areas. These sources have been clubbed together to give a better output. Since the data contains in-detail information, it becomes easier to paint a bigger picture of the case, the circumstances and the consequences.

3.Better management of cases: Multi-agency hubs are expected to keep a better track record of the cases and ensures that no case is missed or lost in the system. Multiple agencies going through the same data removes the chances of discrepancies.

4.Professional support: Professionals from diverse sectors have a better understanding of the situation and raises the standard of efficiency.

5.More confidence in the system: People generally tend to be a bit apprehensive towards authorities, but multiagency hubs have been able to build a strong foundation and confidence due to the team of professionals they hire.

6.Good leadership and clear governance: Responsibility for the actions is shared by the managers of all the different agencies, which creates a better understanding, induces work ethics and also lead to better team work.

7.Facilitates early intervention: Multiple teams working together can determine the risks involved considerably quicker and also brainstorm to resolve them.

Practitioners often struggle to develop trusting relationships in order to form the bigger picture of needs of vulnerable family but this can be overcome following proper procedures. The eventual aim of the MASH initiative is to develop a process that enables partners to effectively and securely share information to safeguard both children and young people. Safeguarding process in the multi-agency arena is a complex matter, and it is considered that unnecessary risks will be introduced if it is extended too quickly into adult safeguarding. However, once the merits of establishing MASH are proven, they can and should extend their services to adults as well.

How to build a startup?

Already building a startup was not an easy task, COVID-19 has made the situation even more difficult. But not to worry, here are a few steps one can look up to launch the startup in 2020.

  • Develop an idea: This was expected isn’t it? Without an idea, there can be no startup. The development of an idea is the most laborious task. For an effective startup, many things are needed to be taken into account like the vision of the startup, needs of people. Check for the problem area that people are facing, that’s the place from where the best ideas generate. The main criteria for a successful idea are trustworthiness, durability, and sustainability.
  • Explore the market: Understand the market, do thorough research, that is the key to success. Half knowledge is dangerous, if you don’t know particular features of the business you chose, all efforts will go in vain. Make sure to stay within the area you’re familiar with. Don’t start anything that you don’t have an idea about. Figure out the consumer’s needs.
  • Be fast: React fast to the changing market needs. This is crucial for a successful startup. All great businessmen have done so, whether it is Mark Zuckerberg, Marc Andreessen, or Thoman Gensemer.
  • Always be determined: Never lose hope! Be determined and always have a willingness to continue until your startup becomes profitable. Cope with the challenges and difficulties that come your way creatively.
  • Be creative: Don’t be scared to go beyond the usually accepted business schemes. It’s your startup and you can mold it in whatever way you want.
  • Decide about the team: For the start, the number of people in the team should not be big. Find these three kinds of people: one who knows how to build technological systems to solve problems; one who understands the human factors hid by problems and can solve them; and one who knows how to reach people whose problems are to be solved.

Even if your first try of creating a successful startup fails, don’t be disappointed. It’s not necessary is that it will be rewarding always. Keep trying, don’t give up the difficulties.

Why read ‘Predictably Irrational’?

Why there will never be a cure for irrationality

In this meticulously researched work from acclaimed Professor Dan Ariely, the author dives into the chasm of human psyche and carefully articulates even the most trivial archetypal decisions that we consciously and unconsciously make in our lives. The book starts off with the author describing a personal tragedy where an explosion left 70 percent of his body with third degree burns that left him immobilized. The victim was then subjected to an excruciating three-year period of hospitalisation and excessive dependency on nurses. The trivial yet significant observation of the methods that were used to remove burn bandages in a way that minimises the amount of misery inflicted upon the victims, led the author to further his research on psychology and behavioural economics.

In each chapter, the author describes the general decision making rigamarole that our psyche seems to follow and then he backs these claims with ground-breaking experiments and logic. The first part of the book concentrates on how we have a comparison bias while we evaluate, judge or make decisions. As an ambitious college student- I, unfortunately, can relate to this. An 8.5 CGPA seems trivial if it’s surrounded by a dozen 9 CGPA’s. This phenomenon of viewing things relatively has been analysed and understood by the market forces. Salesmen and prominent websites prey on this psychological bias to make profits.

I have always wondered how economists arrive at accurate supply and demand statistics and about the factors that should be taken into consideration. The author does a marvellous job in explaining how psychological factors play a major role in the economic decisions made by us and why apart from external factors (price, income etc), psychological factors should be also taken into consideration while predicting market fluctuations or any data of that sort. One of the most interesting and shocking part of the book was the “cost of zero cost” experiment. Apparently, people would rather receive a 10$ gift card for free than paying 7$ for a 20$ gift card. The author personally conducts this experiment at a mall in Boston. The explanation for this irrational phenomenon is conveyed coherently.

The author then shifts focus to some intricate and personal areas of decision making. He addresses questions such as “Why we can’t we make ourselves do what we want to do?” and “why we overvalue what we have?” and then presents the observations of his experiments.

Throughout the book, the reader is asked perplexing questions about various decisions they make which forces them to scratch their heads, following which the rational and irrational answers (observations) are conveyed in a sound and profound manner. I felt that one of the most interesting and perspective-changing parts of the book was when the author accentuates the effects of cost on the psychological and physiological forces of our body. The knowledge of the cost of a commodity shapes our psychological perception towards it- which results in a manipulative physiological response. The author elegantly unravels the reason why a 50-Cent Aspirin can do what a penny’s worth of Aspirin can’t in an experiment he conducts.

In the last part of the book, the author attempts to undertake the courageous journey of deciphering the context of the human character. He tries to analyse the human quality of honesty- What is honesty? Why are people dishonest? What can we do about it? – These are some of the questions he attempts to address. The relevance of these questions and its importance is underestimated in the financial sector. 600 Billion dollars’ worth of thefts and frauds are committed every year in various organisations, claims the author. Furthermore, the reader is clued in about the ever interesting and mind-boggling realm of behavioural economics- The hidden forces that shape our decisions are acutely outlined.

Overall the book is an amalgamation of rigorous research, profound wisdom, intricate questions, ground-breaking experiments, astounding observations and a tinge of humour as only Professor Ariely can provide. It is a must read for anyone who is interested in human psychology and behavioural sciences.

What COVID-19 has taught us?

We used to watch the news and feel bad for people in China regarding COVID-19, little did we know that in a month it will hit us. Things changed drastically. The way we used to interact with people, work, shop, eat, or travel outside; it all underwent a major transformation. Due to this, we have realized what needs to be valued that we took for granted earlier.

  • We can no longer exploit nature ruthlessly. Oceans are other water bodies that have cleaned up. There has been a return of wildlife as seen by the residents. The quality of air has improved. The ozone layer which depleting rapidly has started repairing itself. We can easily save our environment just like we during the lockdown. Only we need to be cognizant of this important factor once we completely resume our lives.

  • Now we have started valuing our loved ones more. Not able to interact like we used to, no meetings, no parties, no concerts; all of it was a part of our mundane lives has become so important in the last few months. We still don’t know when we will be able to socialize like earlier. Hopefully, we don’t take this for granted once we are back at it again.

  • We realized how fragile the economy is. There immense employees lay-off, salary cuts, migrant laborers were thrown out of factories or other workplaces leaving them without money. This crisis made us realize one should save enough that if anything like this happens again, one can tackle them with little ease.

  • We realized how important water it, and lack of it can be troublesome. As asked by the Government to wash our hands 20 seconds at a time has revealed the weak water infrastructure. This simple act has wasted a lot of water during this time. Not just this, there were millions of people who still don’t have access to water facilities in the country. They don’t receive clean water to wash their hands in the middle of the pandemic. The bells are loud and clear. Immediate action needs to be taken. Also, people should educate themselves about water conservation and try adopting it.

  • It has taught us about the importance of preparation- Preparation of everything! Whether it is money, food, healthcare anything.

At last, the virus has taught us how to be patient and the benefits of silence and solitude. We could look into ourselves and explore our consciousness. Otherwise, our busy lives would never have given us this chance. We were so involved in superficial activities and never got time for ourselves. Now that we have this opportunity, use it to the fullest. This will not only uplift each individual but society at large.

The indulgement has reached a point where people expect more from the storyline and climaxes than they do from the government or what’s happening around the world which sure sounds vague but is the harsh reality and I would on no uncertain terms deny my participation in it.

On the contrary, web series do provide us with an array of genres to learn and get entertained from and are a glorious source of information if one wishes to perceive it that way. “I’m not a psychopath, I’m a highly functioning sociopath”

One of the most beloved lines of the British crime series which is based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s books comprising of detective stories named as “Sherlock Holmes” originally .The series is based around Sherlock, a man with extraordinary observatory skills which is played by Benedict Cumberbatch who is then accompanied by his roommate Dr. John H. Watson who recently moved in at 221 B Baker Street played by Martin Freeman.

They work as a team to solve twisted crimes as “consulting detectives” in modern day London. Although most people were suspicious of Holmes at first, but over time his exceptional intellect and bold powers of observation as mentioned above persuade them of his value.

Dr. Watson who used to blog about the adventures and cases they have been to and witnessed, lead to Holmes becoming a reluctant celebrity with the media reporting on his cases and eccentric personal life. Both the ordinary civilians and the British Government including his sibling Mycroft Holmes would ask for his help.

The series depicts variety of crimes and perpetrators, conflict with nemesis Jim Moriarty who is another intellectually supreme fellow is recurring feature.

Now coming to my opinion and why I would like to suggest this to you, the readers, is because the genre being crime, it keeps you on your feet the entire turn with the suspense and the plot twists which I personally enjoy making the episode “The Abominable Bride” my favourite so I recommend this show to each and every one of you out there hope you enjoy.

“So many choices, you end up not knowing which one you want”

Once again we have with us a series that will leave you flabbergasted with its jaw dropping premise and unusual yet true discoveries and logics.

It is a British Sci-Fi anthology series created by Charlie Brooker. It examines modern society, particularly with regard to the unanticipated consequences of the newly discovered technologies .The episodes are usually set in an alternative present or the past or the coming future and sure does demand your maximum indulgence.

The thing that intrigues me the most and keeps me occupied is the phenomenal representation of the things that we face in daily life but with a totally different perception and is a show worth your time and brains.

  • Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D
Agents of SHIELD Recap: 'Among Us Hide ...' | The Mary Sue

“Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division.”

One of the finest picks for MCU enthusiasts as it reveals and answers most of the questions that organically arise in an individual’s mind after watching the movies and reading the comics and yet feeling like they have not been answered.

S.H.I.E.L.D ,a peacekeeping and spy organisation in a world of superheroes is led by none other than Phil Collins who is dead as we know from the previous movies making it more interesting on how is he still the leader ?Well to answer that you have to be a part of this show.

The entire series is dedicated to how a small bunch of trained agents fight injustice opposed by alien terrorist organisations such as Hydra, I’m sure the MCU fans know what I’m talking about and witness way too many hurdles in their way yet come out victorious with their team work and the training that they behold.

All I can say is it is a must watch for you Marvel fanatics out there trust me you will not be disappointed instead feel like all your questions have been answered.

  • Marlon
Marlon Wayans works hard for laughs in new sitcom 'Marlon ...

“If you are going to black up, they are going to back up”

An ultimate test for your tickle bones as I can bet money on the fact that you will crack up at every joke made not because it’s just funny but because it’s really smart and witty along with being funny.

It’s a story of a divorced couple who have two kids and are still more like best friends than ex husband and wife while the ex husband being a very established comedian in real life, Marlon Wayne is a youtuber and has an elite sense of humour and the entire series revolve around them being there for their kids incorporated with fun little feuds with one another and the other characters in the show.

In totality it is a light hearted yet superiorly funny show and I give it a solid 10/10 in the genre of comedy.

  • The Mentalist
7.13 White Orchids - TheMentalist713 0204 - The Mentalist ...

“My memory is a mighty fortress, Lisbon, from which no fact ever escapes once committed”

Another American drama thriller series which will leave you in a state of shock once the story starts taking its turns.

Patrick Jane, an independent consultant for the CBI formerly considered as a “psychic” uses his extra ordinary skill sets of observation and   contemplation of the body language and the minute details to help the CBI solve numerous cases and is doing that in return to gain help from the CBI to catch his forever nemesis who goes by the name of Red John as he killed his daughter and wife in bright daylight and Patrick is out for seeking revenge.

Again a show I highly suggest if you are in the search of getting yourself amazed. With that we come to the end of the journey and I hope the suggestions made by me suit you and help you pass time in the current scenario of social distancing.

Is Nepal the origin of Lord Rama?

On July 14, Nepal PM triggers a debate: “Where is Ayodhya, the origin of Lord Rama?”. The real Ayodhya lies at Thori in the west of Birgunj. India has claimed the Indian site as the birthplace of Lord Ram,” said Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Monday while rejecting the traditional “belief” that Nepali daughter Sita was married to an Indian Prince Ram.

Oli was speaking at an event to commemorate the birth anniversary of poet Bhanubhakta, credited with the first authentic translation of Valmiki’s Ramayan into the Nepali language. “The place called Thori, near Birgunj is the real Ayodhya, where Lord Ram was born. In India, there is a great dispute on Ayodhya. But, there is no dispute in our Ayodhya,” Prime Minister Oli was quoted as saying by his press advisor Surya Thapa. Politically, Oli’s comment comes as a refutation of India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s comment made last month when he had said India and Nepal have a “roti-beti” relation referring to cross-border marriages. However, Oli’s remarks have sparked off a debate on the “real” location of Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram and the capital of his kingdom as mentioned in ancient texts.

Canva-Happy-Woman-

Condemning Mr. Oli for his remarks, BJP national spokesperson Bizay Sonkar Shastri said that the Communists in Nepal will be rejected by the masses in the same way they have been in India, even as Left parties in India played with people’s faith. “Lord Ram is a matter of faith for us, and people will not allow anybody, be it Prime Minister of Nepal or anyone, to play with this,” he said in New Delhi.

Oral history, as compiled into the Ramayan by Valkimi, places Ayodhya in modern Uttar Pradesh. Ramayan tradition identifies Ayodhya as the birthplace of Ram for around 3,000 years, based on literary evidence. Lack of archaeological evidence has kept the debate raging for years. The statement, however, was not only opposed by Indian citizens but by Nepali citizens as well. Nepal PM has been taking many controversial decisions and making controversial statements in the recent days, one of which was releasing of Nepal’s map with Indian city. While Oli’s unexpected territorial claim followed by allegations that India was behind moves to have him dethroned have been rejected by New Delhi, some have looked at it with suspicion even in Nepal, accusing Oli of playing the India card to hide his own government’s alleged failures. Oli’s recent claim about Lord Rama, too, has drawn sharp reactions from both India and Nepal.

However, clarification on the statement of Nepal PM has been given now. The Nepal Ministry of Foreign Affairs sought to shield Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli’s comments on Lord Ram from criticism by clarifying that he did not mean to debase the significance of Ayodhya and the cultural value it bears. The MFA said the remarks were not linked to any political subject and were not intended to hurt the feelings and sentiment of anyone. It added that as there have been several myths and references about Lord Ram and the places associated with him, the PM was “simply highlighting the importance of further studies and research of the vast cultural geography the Ramayana represents to obtain facts about Shri Ram, Ramayana and the various places linked to this rich civilization.” “As there have been several myths and references about Shri Ram and the places associated with him, the Prime Minister was simply highlighting the importance of further studies and research of the vast cultural geography the Ramayana represents to obtain facts about Shri Ram, Ramayana and the various places linked to this rich civilization,” it added. The ministry further said, “It may be underlined that the tradition of celebrating Bibaha Panchami where a marriage procession coming from Ayodhya, India to Janakpur, Nepal takes place every year. The Prime Ministers of Nepal and India launched the Ramayana Circuit in May 2018, of which Janakpur-Ayodhya Passenger Bus Service is an important component. These facts signify the bond of time-honored cultural affinity between our two countries and peoples.”

PUBLIC HEALTHCARE IN INDIA

Health care must be recognized as a right not as a privilege. Every man ,women and child in our country should be able to access  the health care they need regardless of their income. – Bernie sanders

The novel corona-virus outbreak in India has shepherded all attention to the neglected Public healthcare system of our country. The public healthcare in India is a joint effort by both public and private individuals to prolong life and provide safe healthcare to the public at a subsidized rate. Whilst the country has ratified many international agreements on global healthcare, India has no reference to healthcare as a fundamental right in its constitution. However, Article 21 of the Indian constitution recognizes the right to life and personal liberty. The expression ‘life in this article means a life with human dignity & not mere survival or animal existence. Existing public health initiatives in India include the National Health Mission, Ayushman Bharat, and National Mental Health Mission introduced by the government. The public healthcare in the country is ranked at 150th in position according to the World Economic Forum, which indicates snags in the system. India has a maternal mortality rate of 145 deaths for every 100,000 births and only 72,012 of the births were assisted by a skilled health professional in the year 2017.

Paschim Bangal Khet Mazdoor Samity & Others V State of West Bengal & Others held that in a welfare state, the primary duty of the government is to secure the welfare of the people, and the government must provide adequate medical facilities for its people. The public healthcare in India according to the National Healthcare Plan of 2017 covers all services of primary care, diagnostic services, outpatient and inpatient services at free of cost however to access these services is limited as the family must have a health card that links to the primary care facility to be qualified for the mentioned package of services anywhere in the country.

Stages of public healthcare  facilities–

The public hospitals would have to provide universal access to a comprehensive range of free drugs and diagnostics to the patients. The reproductive, maternal, child, and adolescent health and prevalent communicable and non-communicable diseases are included in free primary healthcare at a primary health center. Secondary care is usually provided at the district medical college hospital. Basic secondary services such as caesarian and neonatal care are free or available at subsidized rates. Secondary health care also promises easy and safe access to blood banks. The tertiary care is usually done at a referral hospital or the apex hospital. .

Primary healthcare is given at a sub-center which is established in an area of a population of 5000. It is the first earliest contact between the patient and the public health care system; primary healthcare is also given at the primary health care center which is established at a place with a population of 30,000. The PHC is also equipped to handle local epidemic which may occur in villages. They also dispense birth control measures and sterilization surgeries at a subsidized rate. The primary health care center has basic pregnancy and neonatal care available at all times. The next center for the public health system is the Community Health Center which is maintained by the state government established in an area of 120,000 – 80,000. These health facilities are established and constructed under the National Rural Health Mission. The healthcare centers offer a Universal immunization program that was implemented in the National Vaccine Policy of 2014.

They are equipped with one surgeon, one physician, one pediatrician, and one gynecologist assisted by various paramedical staff. It also acts as a referral center for patients from the primary health care center. The next center in the public healthcare system is the first referral center. It is usually a district hospital or a sub-divisional hospital that has all the time facilities of obstetric surgery, availability of blood transfusion 24/7, operation theater, specialist pediatric care, and all the required equipment.

Healthcare programs offered by the government of India

The National Rural Health Mission which was integrated into the National Health Mission is aimed towards maternal health, reproductive health, children welfare, and adolescent health. The programs offered the free vaccine to newborns, proper medical help to new mothers, and especially the introduction of the sexual health of adolescents which leads to them making informed choices further in their life. This program’s main objective was to reduce the maternal mortality rate, infant mortality rates, and make healthcare accessible to the rural public at a subsidized rate.

The Janani Shishu Suraksha karyakaram states that all pregnant women who are giving birth in a public health care facility are entitled to free delivery including caesarian. The India Newborn Action Plan is aimed at reducing neonatal mortality rates. The village health and nutrition days are programs that impart knowledge to mothers about proper nutrition and infant care practices. The Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram is India’s first comprehensive health program that is aimed at adolescents to inform them about sexual health. Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram is a program that included all comprehensive and basic healthcare to all children in the age group of 0-18-year-olds in the community.

 Conclusion –

Healthcare in India is slowly inching towards a more accessible and free health facility to the public. Nevertheless, India has come far with its accomplishments with public healthcare programs and it has now become an essential part of the country’s infrastructure. But it still has a long way to go considering that many obstacles prevent people from accessing public healthcare in society. One such barrier is healthcare facilities cost more money than that public can afford. Another such obstacle can be that the process of accessing such facilities might be complex and frustrating to the public that they choose not to approach public healthcare centers.

But BTS doesn’t seem to content on their laurels and have always been making rounds to other shows, making new fans. They are unstoppable!

The story of “Burkini”

Going global is the biggest challenge for brands. Various countries across the globe are at various stages of development. The needs and wants of people across the countries might be the same but the brand preferences vary a lot. The factors which every brand manager must look into before moving in the global market are- economic, political, social, and cultural. In business terms, you need to work on PESTLE analysis.
The brand story of Burkini –

In the year 2003, Ahada Zanetti founder of AHIDA Private limited and designer of the Burkini Brand introduced the first product of swimwear for Islamic women. She was inspired by watching her niece facing difficulty in playing netball in a traditional Hizaab. She went on a search to find anything which matched the demands for comfort and flexibility with the requirement of modesty. After doing a thorough research and focusing on the Islamic code of conduct, she designed and produced the first sample of AHIDA BURKINI- Swimwear and sportswear brand. It was accepted by the Islamic community and was given official permission for production.
The dress became so successful among the young Islamic Girls, that immediately it gains a huge demand. Earlier, women wear uncomfortable wearing a short dress and were also not allowed to fulfill their dreams of becoming a sportswoman.
Understanding culture is most important for brand success. The culture of a country influences the consumption patterns of the people there. This can vary also within the country, which is especially true for a huge country like India with rich cultural diversity. Brands need to adapt or come out with completely consumer-friendly products.

CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

It is generally said that we remember many of our misfortunes and on very few occasions only do we remember our joys. The recollection of the past normally appears to be sweet. Very often what gives one unhappiness at the moment it happens, may appear in a different light when thought of at a later date. It so happens that some feel that their past had been happy, in spite of many unfortunate or sorrowful incidents, or, disappointments. Similarly, others may feel that their past was not worth remembering so full of misfortunes it had been. In the same manner, such opinion ‘s may be held about our childhood.

A person may not like to remember his childhood days because they might have contained misfortunes or unpleasant experiences. At the beginning of life, a child is at the mercy of its parents. The child does not have any freedom of action or speech. Under the pretext that the child is prone to do mischief, others put it down and command implicit obedience from it. Sometimes, the child becomes the butt end of ridicule or punishment of even servants. When the child attains school – going age, he is under the control of teachers. In most of our schools children in the lower classes are expected to observe absolute silence. This breeds in them an inferiority or fear-complex. It is not generally understood by teachers in the lower classes that children should be given much freedom only retraining for themselves the privilege of controlling the children who might be wayward or mischievous, or when they tend to go beyond the limit of right conduct.

When such is the experiences of childhood, many persons may not like to think back upon those days. The bitterness felt in childhood is best be forgotten, they feel. It would be an unwelcome or bitter thing to bring back into the mind, the memory of unpleasant incidents or experiences and allow them to spoil the happiness of later life. In a country like India, where poverty ignorance and illiteracy dominate daily life, a child in the lower strata of life has to experience much misery. Each day of existence is one round of journey through hell. To add to these difficulties, if the surroundings and family circumstances are uncongenial, the child’s life may be absolutely intolerable and miserable. This child may in course of time be successful in life through a change of fortune or by dint of honest efforts at improvement, thus revealing a forceful character such cases, the person concerned may not like to remember childhood days. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi suffered a lot during his childhood days but now he became an inspirational character in History.

However, it cannot be said that childhood days are always bitter and to be forgotten in later life. There are children born with a silver spoon in their mouth. In a family, where discipline is given foremost importance or in a family in which children are brought up with strictness tempered with mercy and kindness, the child may have happy experiences. It may be treated with kindness and understanding and may get all advantages of good breeding and training. The memory of such a childhood would be sweet to one who rises to an eminent position or is reasonably happy later on in life. It may also so happen that one who had several advantages in early life turns out to be bad or goes astray as one grows up. This may be because such a person growing up with several advantages might not be aware of the pitfalls of life. Such people also might not like to think of their childhood.

Life however is not of one uniform quality. It is neither wholly happy nor wholly unhappy. It is a mixture of the good and the bad, virtue and vice, it has its rosy side as well as the seamy side. In the life of an individual childhood consists of both these aspects and therefore, the memory of childhood may not be entirely bitter or sweet. The natural tendency of human beings in such cases is to think more of sorrow than of the joys experienced. Sorrows and miseries and misfortunes leave an indelible mark on the humankind. When one looks at one’s life in retrospect, only these experiences come first to the mind. Joyful experiences find only a secondary place though at the time they happen, they afford pleasure and satisfaction.

A successful novelist like Charles Dickens gave greater importance to the sorrowful and more unfortunate aspects of life than to the good fortunes enjoyed by some of the characters in his novels like ‘David Copperfield’ and ‘Oliver Twist’. The life of these two characters might be said to be almost reflections of the novelist ‘s life or the mirror of the miserable life of society of the times. Very rarely do people remember the joys of the earlier period. It is such an idea that Shelley speaks of the lines, “Our sweetest songs are those that tell of the Saddest thoughts” – words full of wisdom and experience.

The Plight Of The Migrant Workers

It’s quite an eerie feeling to ponder about the marginalized section of the society – the migrants, who are poverty-stricken, exploited and forced to dwell under impoverished living conditions. Migrants majorly comprise of the daily wage labourers who work in the manufacturing and small scale industries. These workers are denied of proper nutrition, housing and sanitation. They have less or no access to public health care facilities. The migrants are often the worst affected community. Considering the present scenario, ever since, the imposition of the nation wide lock down to curb the spread of the deadly virus, migrants across the country have faced multiple hardships. Millions of migrant workers had to deal with the loss of income, food shortages and uncertainty about their future. Following this, many of them and their families starved for days and succumbed to death. Thousands of workers walked barefoot to their respective homes in the wake of the ongoing pandemic. Research show that majority of the migrants move in to big cities in search of a better living. This is because of unavailability of work in their respective states. Women Migrants are the most vulnerable. When we look at the state of the women who still have no access to education, the reports are not encouraging. The rural women tend to engage themselves more in household chores rather than in attending school. One reason possibly could be – lack of resources. Children (girls specifically) in the rural areas either have to cycle or walk bare foot to reach school. They have no access to public transport. And once, the girl child hits puberty, parents force her to get married and have children. As a result of which, they move out from their villages to big cities not to make a better life for themselves but to survive. This shows how precarious the lives of these migrants are and that the big cities are not actually “home. “ In addition to the lack of job opportunities, unemployment is on the rise. A study of people with a high risk of unemployment found that they decreased their consumption of fruit and vegetables. Such a diet change affects the workers’ as well as their children’s health in the long run. Inadequate nutrition of children, a particular risk in low-income families, can hinder their physical and mental development.
Migrant labourers, who are mostly from rural areas but live most of the year in cities for work, are the victims of development. With the advent of technology, manual labor has reduced. The technological change has reduced the need for routine manual labor. As a result of which, daily wage labourers are not hired anymore. This is a long-standing problem, and has been into existence since ages. In this scenario, how well the migrants are faring? Do they have much to relish? Do they have a roof to rest? Do they have job security? Their future seems bleak.
India is a developing economy. One of the striking facts about India’s development model has been uneven development of rural and urban India. The rural regions of India need immediate and undivided attention.
• Areas with high incidence of poverty should be given equal and undivided attention. The Government should undertake Poverty Alleviation Programmes to eradicate poverty from the grass root level.

• The MGNREGA scheme came into force in 2006 yet in many parts of the country, the poor dies out of hunger. This is because, the Government doesn’t keep an eye whether the schemes launched are implemented. Implementation and execution should be made necessary.

• The migrants should be given jobs in their respective states with due respect. This is because, migrants, very often, get an undeserved bad name in the market.

• Development should be made in the field of agriculture. The Government should look after providing necessary equipments for a healthy yield, protecting them from weeds and weather conditions.
This will help the farmers rely on their own crops rather than depending on the landlords for money.

Migration is neither unique nor new to India. It has existed since mankind. Not everyone wants to leave home, of course, many see migration as one future pathway, whether permanently or temporarily with the hopes to one day return home.

Smuggling of Gold a White Collar Crime

“Smugglers, hoarders and black marketers have no country, caste or nation of their own. Their only ‘God’ and concern is the yellow metal ‘Gold’.”

White collar crimes are defined as non-violent crimes, generally committed by businessmen and government professionals. In simple words, crimes committed by people who acquire important positions in a company are called white collar crimes. India is a developing country and white collar crimes are becoming a major cause for its under development along with poverty, health, etc. The trend of white collar crimes in India poses a threat to the economic development of the country. These crimes require immediate intervention by the government by not only making strict laws but also ensuring its proper implementation. Recently, there is a case occurred in Kerala in which diplomats, politicians alleged to had involvement in smuggling of gold. This case has made headlines in all the newspaper and news channels.

In Kerala the local people migrate themselves in foreign countries like United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the purpose of job. 70% of Indians in UAE are Keralites and 35.5 per cent of Keralite expatriates are in UAE.In October 2016 the first consulate of United Arab Emirates (UAE) in South India, was opened in Thiruvananthapuram the motive was to increase the higher education and tourism sector to be increased.

On Sunday 5th of July 2020 the Custom and Preventive Department had clutched 30 kg of Gold from Thiruvananthapuram International Airport which is worth of Rs. 15 crore. It was an air cargo diplomatic consignment was send from United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Trivandrum International Airport in which the gold bars and sticks were hidden inside some of the household equipment to avoid detection.

As there was an involvement of Consulate of United Arab Emirates (UAE) the custom department was unable to raid them directly, they obtained permission from Ministry of External Affairs, as per the Vienna Convention the consignments to diplomatic mission enjoys immunity. When the permission was granted from Ministry Of External affairs officers of United Arab Emirates (UAE) was called in the presence of them the consignment was unwrapped.

The consignment was in the name of Sarith Kumar who has been previously working has a Public Relation Officer of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) consulate General Office was arrested on 6th July 2020 remanded for 14 days. Sarith Kumar confessed to be in cahoots with Swapna Suresh on the crime. The custom department has accused Swapna Suresh as the mastermind behind trying to smuggle about 30kg gold.

Who is Swapna Suresh ?

She was a consultant to one of the offices under the State Government’s Information Technology ministry. She worked as the marketing liaison officer of the Space Park under the Kerala State Information Technology (KSITIL). After the Customs department intensified its search for her, state government terminated her contract with the IT department with immediate effect. Swapna Suresh and Sandeep Nair who was also involved in the attempt of gold smuggling was detained by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) as on 12th July 2020

However, this is not the first case against Swapna Suresh in 2013, when she joined as an HR executive with AISATS, an airport service firm, in Thiruvananthapuram. It came to light later that she had conspired with another senior executive at the firm to forge a false complaint of sexual abuse against an airport staff. She had prepared as many as 17 complaints, in many bogus names, against the person, who later complained to the state police seeking a probe into the conspiracy. Suresh was listed as an accused, but the investigation was disrupted, allegedly because of her influence. It was alleged that she has connections with principal secretary to Kerala Chief Minister. There were photos of Swapna Suresh often seen moving in key social, political and bureaucratic circles.

Sapna Suresh filed for anticipatory bail in the Kerala High Court claiming that she had contacted the airport officer regarding the cargo on the alleged directions of top diplomat in the UAE Consulate General office, Rashid Khamis Al Shameli. She also claimed that she was still working with the consulate under ‘work on request basis’.

This things make it clear that she has contacts with powerful people who are involved in such scandalous crime still hiding their faces with mask on it. They are the big sharks of the ocean who train the small fishes push them to fight on their behalf and hide themselves. When the small fishes die on the battleground they start searching for another fish.

What United Arab Emirates (UAE) embassy has to say?

The embassy in his statement told they utterly condemns the attempted misuse of diplomatic channels by an individual engaged in smuggling activity. They rejected such acts unequivocally affirms that mission and its diplomatic staff had no role in this matter.

Anti-Terror Law

The home minster ordered a probe by National Investigation Agency (NIA) into the case. According to NIA an FIR is registered under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 2004 sections which are as follows :

Section 15- Terrorist Act (what all includes and define terrorist act)

Section 16- Punishment for Terrorist act

if such act has resulted in the death of any person, be punishable with death or imprisonment for life, and shall also be liable to fine

in any other case, be punishable with imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than five years but which may extend to imprisonment for life, and shall also be liable to fine.

Section 17-Punishment for raising funds for terrorist act.

Whoever, in India or in a foreign country, directly or indirectly, raises or provides funds or collects funds, whether from a legitimate or illegitimate source, from any person or persons or attempts to provide to, or raises or collects funds for any person or persons, knowing that such funds are likely to be used, in full or in part by such person or persons or by a terrorist organisation or by a terrorist gang or by an individual terrorist to commit a terrorist act, notwithstanding whether such funds were actually used or not for commission of such act, shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than five years but which may extend to imprisonment for life, and shall also be liable to fine.

Enforcement Directorate

After customs, NIA, the Enforcement Directorate has also joined the probe in the case. Enforcement Directorate zonal officer in Kochi has launched a preliminary enquiry into the matter under Section 3 of the Foreign Exchange management act which says about Dealing in Foreign exchange, etc.

There has been gold smuggling in our country as the rates of gold in India is expensive as compared in UAE also there is invasion in tax. Kerala is been their favourite designation for bringing the smuggled gold as in Kerala they can easily find customers. This case also light up the racket which brings high officials, diplomats under one roof as using the diplomatic channel to smuggle the gold one should need strong connections to make the smuggling successful. There would be a needs of strong connections in the right corridors of power enforcement officials normally do not lay hands on consignments tagged ‘diplomatic’ as these are highly sensitive and if a search fails to yield results, the officer concerned will be held answerable for straining diplomatic relations between two countries.

As per the law of Torts the law is settled that a master is vicariously liable for the acts of his servant acting in the course of his employment. Unless the act is done in the course of employment, the servant’s act does not make the employer liable. In other words, for the master’s liability to rise, the act must be a wrongful act authorised by the master or a wrongful and unauthorised mode of doing some act authorised by the master.  Similarly, in this case the racket is deep rooted the main influences is still hiding what we see is just a half reality if we have to eradicate such crimes we need to reach the deep roots from where it is all started.

Russia Successfully complete trial of first COVID-19 Vaccine.

In MOSCOW state of clinical trail of vaccine which is produced by Russian institute of Epidemiology and microbiology on 18th June. The university has completed test and it was world first vaccine against by the coronvirus .

Lukashev told to sputnik for the safety of those vaccine that are in market. The vaccine development situation with the possibility of scaling up production.

The pandemic situation acted as only the institution but as a scientific and research technology center is the creation must important and complex produce as a drug. Vaccine is starting preclinical studies and protocol development, and clinical trial are currently underway.

The first trial of first group of 18 volunteers group of 23 volunteers. All volunteers, who were between ages of 18 to 65, has the spend 28 days in isolation, in the prevent them from of contracting to other infections. They are will be monitored for 6 months of their discharge as well.

VACCINE AND TREATMENT FOR COVID -19. Vaccine The world Health Organization is lists of the Russian vaccine in their are three phases in 1 of the clinical trial and any vaccine get approved of large scale production, undergo of three human trials.

The 9 Lakh marks in India and highly contagious virus which is a already claimed more than 23000 thousand of people lives. As the 8 May, two medications Trusted source had received emergency use authorization (EUA) from the food and Drug Administration (FDA). The remdesivir and a drug used to sedate people on a ventilator.

The EUA March for the antimalarial drugs chloro quine and hydrocholoro quine, but later revoked it Trusted Source after studies showed that they are unlikely be effective in treatment for COVID-19. An EUA allows doctor use to the drugs to treatment people with COVID-19 even before the medication have through the formal FDA approval process.

These drugs are still the beings tested trials to see the whether they are effective COVID – 19. This steps is needed to make the sure the medications are safe for this particular use and what proper dosses should be. It could be month before treatment area available that are known against COVID- 19. It could be even longer for the vaccine.

EIDD – 2801 This drug was creat by scientists at a nonprofit biotech owned by the Emory university. Research in mice has shown that it can reduce replication of multiple corona virus. Pharmaceutical company Merck and Ridge back Bioterapeutics LP signed an agreement in may to develop this drug. It already being tested in a clinical trial in the united kingdom. Unlike remdesivir, EIDD-2801 can be taken orally, which would, make it available to a larger number of people.

The company is running a phase II trial of this drug. People with their will be randomized to receiver either by the merimepodib with placebo. The company hope have to result by late summer of this year.

Video Games

Video games are played on computers and laptops, handheld devices, game consoles – and with increasing frequency – on phones and tablets. Some games are purchased and installed on devices, others are downloaded from the web , and a few are played exclusively online.

Video games are popular among all ages and sexes: While older women top the use of simple single player games; young men are the heaviest users of “war games.” The massively multiplayer games attract users from 8-80. Some games are educational; others are horrifically violent and include graphic sexuality. Yet many games are found out to be played with friends or family within the same room and lots of of those games are an excellent way for families to interact and spend time together.

In addition to being fun, playing video games can reduce stress, lighten depression, increase vision, improve the power to multi-task and improve decision-making skills. Online gaming is additionally linked to obesity, increasing depression, poor grades, addictive behavior and increased aggressive or violent behavior.

Games that are immersive and need strategy and problem-solving skills to win, require players to recollect and absorb tons of data . Regularly playing these sorts of games can help improve children’s short and long term memory and help the brain process information quicker.

Also, games capture players’ imagination helping them to remain focused on certain tasks and builds their perseverance to realize a goal.Multiplayer games allow children to require on variety of roles that allow them to find out the way to manage a team if they’re the leader or negotiate ways to win as a part of a gaggle . The shared experience are often an excellent thanks to collaborate and learn from one another to create children confidence.

Gaming may be a fun and sociable thanks to spend time, encouraging teamwork and developing skills. All great things , but there are a couple of belongings you got to remember of:
1. Some games let children play and chat with anyone within the world. This suggests they could encounter offensive language and bullying.
2. Not everyone online is who they assert they’re . Children should avoid giving out personal details that would identify them or their location
3. Some games encourage players to shop for extra elements during the sport – children are known to run up large bills without realizing.
4. In extreme cases bullying, also referred to as ‘griefing’, are often used as a tactic to win games.
5. Get involved by checking out what sort of games your child enjoys and ensuring they’re appropriate for his or her age.

Boeing Crisis

The Boeing company is an American multinational corporation which is among the largest global aerospace manufactures.

In march 2019, Boeing 737 Max planes were grounded due to two plane crashing within the span of 5 months.  These crashes led to the death of 346 people which urged the authorities to open up multiple investigations. The crashes were mainly credited to the faulty automated system present. The pilots have claimed that they had no information related to this system. Boeing’s philosophy relies on the belief that more control should be provided to the pilots rather than automated systems. However, the crisis is one of the ironies.

The first plane crash took place in Indonesia on October 28 killing around 189 people on board. This led to concerns among pilots since they weren’t aware of the newly installed automated system. This was a severe case of misinformation or lack of information.  After looking into the matter, Boeing assured that the planes were safe enough to fly but then 5 months later, another plane crash occurred in Ethiopia which killed 157 people on board. Investigations brought out the fact that malfunctions in MCAS-Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System made them inoperable by pilots. This built apprehension towards flying in these planes even when they returned back to sky.

As a consequence, Boeing had to pay fines and deal with lawsuits from families, airlines and pilots. They even received public backlash. The existing CEO was fired in response to the backlash and a new CEO was appointed, David Calhoun who is now met with responsibility to get the planes re-certified.

MATLAB for beginners

Similar to Python , MATLAB is a mathematical and graphical software package used for mathematical computation, analysis and visualization . It can be used in modeling of different kinds of Systems , Simulation of complex objects etc. It helps in presenting the Scientific and engineering graphics . It facilitates in the algorithm and Application development, including Graphical User Interface building.
MATLAB can be expanded as MATrix Laboratory . MATLAB is a programming language developed by Math Works. Let us see its features in a greater detail.
MATLAB features
MATLAB is an interactive programming environment. The basic data element is an array that does not require mentioning the dimension details. This allows you to solve many technical computing problems in less than a fraction of the time to write a program in a scalar non-interactive language such as C or FORTRAN. It can be used for the following tasks.

Computing support : To work with vectors ,matrices and polynomials as vectors and variables using statistical or math-oriented packages.
Programming capabilities : To use and to write scripts ,classes and functions for programming using external language and library interfaces, including Java, C, C++, .NET, and Web services. MATLAB has object oriented capabilities that can be implemented with m-script . It can be used to write interactive programs .It can be run both under interactive sessions and as a batch job.
App Building : It is used to develop apps interactively using App Designer, or programmatically using MATLAB functions.

Software Development Tools : It facilitates debugging and testing, organizing large projects, source control integration, toolbox packaging etc.

Graphs and plots : It is used to plot graphics and save them in PDF and jpg formats . You can run your analyses on larger data sets, and scale up to clusters and clouds. It supports plotting, printing, graphing etc and widely used for the below types of plotting.

• Two- and three-dimensional Plots ,images ,animation etc
• Polar Plot
• Semilogx or Semilogy
• Log log
• Bode Plot
• Nichols Plot
• Nyquist Plot
Tool Boxes : MATLAB features a family of application-specific solutions called toolboxes. In version 7 , there are a lot of toolboxes.
Symbolic Toolbox
Image Processing Toolbox
MATLAB Compiler
Legacy Toolboxes
GUIDE (allows the creation of interactive user interfaces).
Simulink (for modeling, simulating and analyzing systems).
Psychtoolbox (set of tools that aid in vision research).
The Distributed computing toolbox (set of tools that aid in distributing models over a cluster).
The optimization toolbox (includes various algorithms for minimization).
Other areas in which toolboxes are available include signal processing, control systems, neural networks, fuzzy logic, wavelets and many others.

MATLAB code can be integrated with other languages, enabling you to deploy algorithms and applications within web, enterprise, and production systems.

MATLAB is supported on Unix, Macintosh, and Windows environments. MATLAB is available for a number of environments: Sun/Apollo/VAX station/HP workstations, VAX, Micro VAX, Gould, PC and AT compatibles, 80386 and 80486 computers, Apple Macintosh, and several parallel machines. For many students in mathematics, physical sciences, engineering, economics, and other fields with a heavy numeric component, MATLAB is their first introduction to programming or scientific computing in general.
Summing up
Python is designed as a general purpose programming language and it supports numerical computing, graphics etc using standard libraries . Whereas , Mat Lab is a numerical computing environment.MATLAB is a proprietary tool and it is very expensive outside the academic setting , for teaching and research. Fortunately, many alternative open-sources like GNU Octave , NumPy (library in Python) ,Sci-lab and Sage are available to address this issue and perform the various functions.

Unsound Silence

As defined by the oxford dictionary, “War is a situation or a period of fighting between countries or groups of people, which involves the use of weapons, a military organization and soldiers.” In the world of today we see that the superpowers of the sphere are always in a tiff, and callings of war is very routinely and very normalized. War is romanticized and viewed as a call of heroism. The individuals involved in it, are whooped as martyrs or jingoist of the nation, but people fail to look at the horrors of the war. The sufferings, sorrows, loss of innocent lives, brunt of devastation, are somethings which no mankind can desert upon. War only shows man’s failure as a thinking animal.

One such work by Bob Dylan, in his poem “John Brown,” talks about a young man who proudly went off to war expecting glory and winning medals, but later returned all shot up, with a disfigured face and disabled body. Blathering his mother, the horrible experience in the battlefield and how he was just a puppet in the play. The poem ends by dropping the medals in his mothers’ hand. This shows us the fatality of war, and the false glory in winning. His mother could thus decorate the walls with all the medals but she had lost her son, likewise war is a failure to humanity, as in war nobody wins, everyone loses.

Second is an anecdote which describes us about the terror of World war II by a young girl in her chronicle, “The diary of Anne Frank,” where she had to shift to the Secret Annex and concentrated camps from her home. As Nazi’s were making life very confining to the Jewish people in Germany. The innocent souls had to go in hidings or would be mercilessly killed. Her diary describes us about, how racism was at its peak, the fears of isolation and homicide just because they were Semite. Thus, showing us monsters are real, ghosts are real too, they live inside us, but not each and every one of you. Just like her, what was the fault of hers and people who were like her? Showing War was also partial it always favored parties.

Third, the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was a wondrous pause to the whole society. It swiped away the whole generation of that region with no signs of growth for many years to come. It was tremendously terrible, callous and futile to the whole nation. This was just a part of war, the stories that were planned no one knows till date. There were so many cases of people dying after months from radiation sickness, injuries, illness and malnutrition. An utter example of how War could destroy the whole humankind by a human itself.

The sufferings and dejection caused by the disgusting and destructive ‘War’ is inevitable and unavoidable.  The notions like “All is fair in love and war,” is baseless and fabricated. No war is good and all war’s leads to demolition and advert loss. War is monstrous, it’s stupid, its brutal, it’s an excuse of an amateur who could not use their intelligence to solve problems. War is thus a necessary evil in society as nobody wins in war, everyone loses. As John F Kennedy, rightly said “Mankind must put an end to war, before war puts an end to mankind.”

Social and religious harmony to bring world peace

Religion is a basic piece of human presence. In the event that a man likes to have true serenity, at that point he should likewise develop protections of harmony as far as he could tell. The world can’t have tranquility till nations and individuals start to diminish their narrow minded wants for an ever increasing number of material belongings. Contrasts in strict convictions and practices ought not ruin the advancement of individuals working for world harmony. They should work in amicability and collaboration in the genuine sprit of administration.
India is a nation of more than one billion individuals, most of whom are Hindus. However, we likewise have huge populaces of minorities, with around 150 million Muslims, making this the second biggest Muslim populace on the planet, after Indonesia. There are likewise a huge number of Christians, Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists. In ongoing decades, the contention between strict networks (alluded to as communalism in India) have developed significantly and a great many individuals have been executed in these strict clashes. The fate of India is depressing if strict clashes tear the vote based texture away and make states of common war.
Indian culture is pluralistic in nature. The assorted variety that exists in India regarding religion, culture and dialects is exceptionally special. We don’t see such a decent variety anyplace on the planet. Notwithstanding this assorted variety, the individuals of this nation have been living in harmony and agreement from days of yore. We are each of the one.
We have numerous religions, yet our nation is one. Leave us alone glad for it.
Over and over, it has been brought up by our older folks that fundamental prerequisite for harmony is to make a mentality to consider this world as a God’s interesting creation to live in harmony and congruity with each other. No religion lectures viciousness. Islam implies harmony procured by presenting your will to God. Love and harmony are focal in Christian plan of things.
Compassion or Sympathy holds a significant situation in Buddhism and ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbukam’ (The entire world is a family) is one among the notable cardinal standards of Hinduism. Heavenly Quran says, “Goodness humankind, we have made you from guys and females. Create feeling of fraternity.” Prophet Muhammad showed his adherents to make harmony and not to hurt the strict assessments of others. Swamy Vivekananda stated, “We accept in widespread lenience, however we acknowledge all religions as evident”. Tibetan otherworldly pioneer Dalai Lama says that there will be no harmony among religions without dialogue. Therefore, strict pioneers, political pioneers and scholastic foundations should assume a main job in keeping up harmony and congruity in the general public. Between confidence discourse has gigantic importance in limiting contrasts among clashing gatherings.
Some Steps To Bring World Peace
Start by getting rid of rejection
Proof shows that contention occurs in places where individuals can’t confide in the police or gain admittance to equity, and their possibilities for an OK life are taken by degenerate elites

Achieve true and equal balance among ladies and men
The bigger a nation’s sexual orientation hole, the more probable it is to be associated with brutal clash.

Offer out riches reasonably
As indicated by a World Bank study, 40 percent of the individuals who join rebel bunches do so in light of an absence of monetary chances. Relative neediness is similarly as significant, with progressively equivalent social orders set apart by elevated levels of trust and low degrees of savagery. Financial decency with regards to open assets, tax collection and tax avoidance is likewise key. The orderly exchange of riches from rich to poor – rather than the other route round – improves security for everybody

Show less hubris, make more approach change
A gander at the reputation of counter-psychological warfare, the ‘war on drugs’, adjustment and state-building endeavors and pioneer wars ‘shows an example of to a great extent calming disappointment’ says Saferworld’s Larry Attree. Quietude and readiness to give penance for past animosity on the worldwide stage is basic – similar to a conclusion to oneself serving and counter-beneficial strategy in the Middle East.

Fabricate an incorporated harmony development
Transient enemy of war developments have replaced dynamic and lasting harmony developments. We have to advance peaceful other options and victories; harmony campaigner Phyllis Bennis accepts harmony must be woven into other social developments.

World peace, or tranquility on Earth, is the idea of a perfect condition of satisfaction, opportunity and harmony inside and among all individuals and countries on Planet Earth. This thought of world peacefulness is one inspiration for individuals and countries to look participate, either intentionally or by righteousness of an arrangement of administration that has this goal. Various societies, religions, ways of thinking, and associations have fluctuating ideas on how such a state would occur.

Different strict and common associations have the expressed point of accomplishing world harmony through tending to human rights, innovation, training, designing, medication or strategy utilized as a conclusion to all types of battling.
Harmony begins with you. Conventional residents can have any kind of effect. When’s the last time you said sorry? Consider who loses when you win. Are the individuals around you heard and regarded or minimized, disregarded and forgotten about? Settle on a choice to think about what befalls them. Start a productive discussion with somebody you can’t help contradicting. Challenge ‘them-and-us’ speculation in yourself just as in others. All of us can decide to make society all the more just and quiet, or increasingly treacherous and warlike.
Religious Harmony in India is an idea that shows that there is love, love in the middle of various religions in India. The Indian constitution bolsters and energizes strict amicability. In India, each resident has an option to pick and practice any religion. There are instances of Muslims and Sikhs building sanctuaries. In India, distinctive strict conventions live agreeably. Diviners of religions call for strict concordance in India.
In India, each resident has an option to pick and practice any religion. There are instances of Muslims and Sikhs building sanctuaries. In India, diverse strict conventions live agreeably. Soothsayers of religions call for strict amicability in India. For well known film stars in India like Salman Khan, celebrations of Hindus and Muslims are equivalent. As indicated by Dalai Lama, India is a model for strict agreement. He specifies that “In the last 2000-3000 years, distinctive strict customs, including Jainism, prospered here.”

Hospice Telephone support

Hospice care is the care designed to give to people who are suffering from a terminal illness and are in the last phase of it. The aim of this support center is not to provide cure for the illness, rather to supply emotional and psychological support that the patients may need during the difficult phase to prevent the feelings of isolation and loneliness. A team of skilled professionals is made available to provide counselling to the people. This team includes occupational therapists, nurses and therapy assistants.

The setting up of a helpline number is a confidential and safe space for people to lay down their grievances and seek support for it.

The main objectives of this helpline are to improve the quality of lives of the grieving and their family members as well as providing support to the professionals responsible for the care.

This stands for a social responsibility and adds public value. Palliative care and hospice team identify and try to treat distress causing symptoms that may increase medical complications in future. It is also required that they remain in contact of the family members of the patients and design appropriate and realistic goals.

In this sector, human resource plays crucial role i.e., the care givers. It will depend on how efficient these people are and how the overall service proves beneficial. It is important to set up an office, or any infrastructural site which can house a large number of employees. These employees should be made equipped with appropriate and fast communication systems. Moreover, the public should be made aware of the fact that there is a service which may benefit them.

This can be initiated through a connection or a collaboration with any hospital or health care centers. It will also help in cases where any professional expertise may be required.

The base work mainly comprises of data of the patients in need of such care, their information, registration forms and consent forms. Getting patients registered with this facility can be mediated by a practitioner indulged in similar kind of service.

Moreover, the nurses or the care-givers should be trained well to deal with such situations. Providing counselling can be difficult over telephone since lack of physical clues may make it hard for both the parties involved to understand the situation. A report of the patient’s situation should also be provided to the care giver member of the family.

The hospice telephone helpline can be a benefit and turn out to be profitable if there is a proper dialogue maintained between the authorities or the managers, the task force, the patients and their families. By starting this initiative, wishes of the terminally ill people can be granted. They can get to spend their remaining time with their families and using this facility will also help the family care givers to better understand the grievances of the patient and help them through it.

In the end, the core motive behind this support facility is to take up social responsibility and make an effort to add a little more to people’s lives.

Tattooing tradition among BAIGAS

The Baigas tribes are counted among Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups. They primarily belong from Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh. Customarily, the Baiga people lived a semi-nomadic life and followed slash and burn cultivation. Nowadays, they are principally reliant on forest produce for their living. The tribe practice shifting cultivation. They also believe to never plow the earth because it would be akin to scratching the breast of their mother earth. “Mother Earth would have become weakened if they ask their mother to produce food from the same patch of earth time and time again”. They also saw themselves as people of the forest, who could only live on the produce of the forest. It was below the dignity for them to become a laborer.

Baiga is one of the tribes for whom tattooing is an essential part of their existence. This tribe inhabits the dense hilly forests in the eastern part of the Satpuras, in Shahdol, Bilaspur, Rajandgaon, Mandla and Balaghat districts. The Baigas are of Dravidian stock and are one of eight prime tribes of Madhya Pradesh. It is believed that this tribe is an offshoot of the Bhuiya tribe of Chhota Nagpur. A distinguishing feature of the Baiga tribe is that their women are famous for crafting tattoos of countless varieties on practically all portions of their bodies. The women who work as tattooing artistes belong to Qjha. They are tremendously experienced about the diverse kinds of tattoos fancied by several tribes. Their mother customarily passes on this wisdom to them. Tattooing among the family begins with the approach of winter and resumes until summer.

Conspiracy Theories & Chill

Let’s get illuminaughty

False Flag Theorists

False flag theorists see darker forces behind whatever sinister world events are taking place. They believe events such as gun massacres and terror attacks are staged to make it appear as if some other group designed and carried out the event – in effect planting a false flag at the scene. The “false flag” concept can be virtually applied to just about any world event – the 9/11 attacks, so some believe, weren’t carried out by al-Qaeda but the Bush administration as an excuse for war in the Middle East.

Bilderberg Group

The Bilderberg group is an annual meeting of ‘elite intellectuals’ from across the world to discuss — well, no-one really knows. No minutes are published of the meetings, which take place behind closed doors amid tight security. The group has been accused of everything from plotting the rise and fall of world leaders to trying to form a New World Order, made up of the top figures in banks, corporations and countries.

The Mandela Effect

It is a phenomenon where a group of people collectively misremember a fact or an event. The term was coined by the paranormal enthusiast Fiona Broome. She along with many other people, remember Nelson Mandela dying in prison in the 1980s rather than from illness in 2013. Some of them even claim they remember his funeral being broadcasted on TV, like do you remember the Monopoly Man wearing a monocle? You’re not the only one. However, if you look at him carefully, you’ll realize he’s not wearing a monocle. He never has. While the famous Snow White quote you’ve probably heard others say and repeated yourself is “Mirror, mirror on the wall,” it turns out the correct line is “Magic mirror on the wall” Some people also remember the second part of that quote being “Who is the fairest of them all?” but apparently it’s “Who is the fairest one of all?

Britney Spears Was an Instrument of the Bush Administration

What if Britney Spears’s public meltdown, a series of bizarre events and public outburst— the head shaving incident which ultimately resulted in her receiving a conservatorship and losing custody of her children to ex-hubby Kevin Federline— wasn’t the result of her own personal issues? There are theories that say Britney was being paid by the Bush administration to grab headlines away from the corrupt and incompetent White House.

5 Main Aims of Government for Economy Development

1. Full Employment:

Most governments try to achieve full employment. This means that people who are willing and able to work can find employment. Of course, not everyone wants to work or is able to work. These people are not in the labour force. They are said to be economically inactive and are dependent on those in the labour force.

They include children, the retired, those engaged in full time education, home makers and those who are too sick or disabled to work. Those who are in work or are unemployed but actively seeking work, form the labour force and are said to be economically active.

The unemployment rate is calculated as a percentage of the labour force, i.e.:

Unemployed / Labour force X 100

So if 5 million people are unemployed out of a labour force of 40 million, the unemployment rate is:

5m / 40m X 100 = 12.5%

Most economists think that full employment is not actually 0% unemployed. They usually put the figure at approximately 3%. This is because they think that even in a strong economy with demand for labour equalling the supply of labour, there will always be some workers changing jobs and being unemployed for short periods.

2. Price Stability:

Governments aim for price stability because it ensures greater economic certainty and prevents the country’s products from losing international competitiveness. If firms, households and workers have an idea. About future level of prices, they can plan with greater confidence. It also means that they will not act in a way that will cause prices to rise in the future.

Firms will not raise their prices because they expect their costs to be higher, households will not bring forward purchases for fear that items will be more expensive in the future and workers will not press for wage increases just to maintain their real disposable income.

In seeking to achieve price stability, most governments are not aiming for a zero percentage change in price. A common target is a stable inflation rate of 2%. They do not aim for unchanged prices, for two main reasons. One is that measures of inflation tend to overstate rises in prices.

A price index , for instance, might indicate that the general price level has risen by 1% but in practice, prices might not have changed and might have even fallen slightly. Some of the prices paid by people are lower than those appearing in the official price level indices, as people buy some products at reduced prices in sales and also make second hand purchases.

Price rises can also hide the improvements in products. A car may cost $100 more this year than last year, but it may incorporate a number of new features such as satellite navigation. So the question arises, is the car actually more expensive or is it a different car?

A second reason is that a slight rise in prices can provide some benefits. It can encourage producers to increase their output, as they may think that higher prices will lead to higher profits. It can also enable firms to cut their wage costs by not raising wages in line with inflation. The alternative to such a move might be a cut in employment.

3. Economic Growth:

When an economy experiences economic growth, there is an increase in its output in the short run. This is sometimes referred to as actual economic growth. In the long run, for an economy to sustain its growth, the productive potential of the economy has to be increased. Such an increase can be achieved as a result of a rise in the quantity and/or quality of factors of production.

The difference between actual and potential economic growth can be shown on a production possibility curve. On Fig, the movement from point A to point B represents actual economic growth – more capital and consumer goods are made. The shift outwards of the production possibility curve from YY to ZZ represents potential economic growth – the economy is capable of producing more.

Actual and Potential Economics Growth

In analyzing economic growth and other macroeconomic issues, economists also make use of aggregate demand and aggregate supply diagrams. Aggregate demand (AD) is the total demand for an economy’s products and consists of consumption (C), investment (I), government expenditure (G) and exports minus imports (X-M).

Aggregate supply is the total output of producers in an economy. Aggregate supply is perfectly elastic if the economy has a significant number of unemployed resources, as then more can be produced without a contingent rise in costs of production and prices.

The curve becomes more inelastic as the economy approaches full employment since then the firms will be competing for resources and this will push up their costs and, as a result, the price level. At full employment of resources, aggregate supply becomes perfectly inelastic, since at this point further increase in output is not possible.

Fig. 2 shows actual economic growth. The rise in AD has resulted in a rise in the country’s output (see unit 40 on real GDP) and a small rise in the price level.

Actual Economic Growth

Fig. 3 shows potential economic growth. The maximum amount, that the economy can produce, has increased.

Potential Economic Growth

In this case, the rise in the quantity and/or quality of resources has no impact on output. If, however, an increase in productive potential occurs when an economy is operating close to full employment, it can cause a rise in the country’s output and a fall in the price level as shown in Fig. 4.

Potential Economic Growth Causing a Rise in National Output

Governments want to achieve economic growth because producing more goods and services can raise people’s living standards. Economic growth can indeed transform people’s lives and enable them to live longer because of better nutrition, housing and health care.

The determinant of a country’s possible economic growth rate is its level of output, in relation to its current maximum possible output and its growth in productive capacity.

If, for instance, an economy is growing at 2% below its maximum possible output and its productive capacity is expected to increase by 3% this year, it’s possible economic growth rate is 5%. Most governments would like their economies to be working at full capacity and their actual economic growth rate to coincide with their potential economic growth rate.

4. Redistribution of Income:

A government may seek to redistribute income from the rich to the poor. The more money someone has, the less they tend to appreciate each unit. A rich person with an income of $10,000 a week is unlikely to miss $100 but that sum would make a huge difference to someone currently struggling on $20 a week.

Governments redistribute income by taxing and spending. The rich are taxed more than the poor. Some of the money raised is spent directly on the poor by means of benefits such as housing benefit and unemployment benefit. Other forms of government expenditure, such as that on education and health, particularly benefit the poor

Without the government providing these services free of cost or at subsidized prices, the poor may not find them accessible. Governments are unlikely to aim for a perfectly equal distribution of income. This is because taxing the rich too heavily and providing too generous benefits may act as a disincentive to effort and enterprise.

5. Balance of Payments Stability:

Over the long run, most governments want the value of their exports to equal the value of their imports. If expenditure on imports exceeds revenue from exports for a long period of time, the country will be living beyond its means and will get into debt. If export revenue is greater than import expenditure, the inhabitants of the country will not be enjoying as many products as possible.

Governments also seek to avoid sudden changes in other parts of the balance of payments. This is because they can prove to be disruptive for the economy. For instance, there may be a sudden and unexpected movement of money out of the country’s financial institutions into financial institutions of other countries. Such a movement can have an adverse effect not only on the banks of a country but also on the country’s exchange rate and eventually on the price of the country’s imports.

Mobile App ‘eBloodServices’

These days when all of us are dealing with pandemic COVID-19, it has been a very hard time for all of us and we all are contributing our parts to come out of this difficult situation. All of us are doing great as fighters. With the coming of problems, we all are thinking innovative and creative to come up with solution to it. One such step was to launch mobile app ‘eBloodServices’.Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan on launched the eBlood Services Mobile Application, in partnership with the New Delhi based Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), on 25 June 2020 for easy access to blood to fight with the critical time of coronavirus pandemic.

This application is developed by the E-Raktkosh team of Centre for Development of Advanced Computing under the Digital India scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2015. The application will bring transparency and facilitate single-window access to blood services of the Indian Red Cross Society, officials said. This initiative would help the people to get the blood on time just by registering on the application. Also, people can demand up to four units of blood. Blood-related services are required by many people in the country as they face certain medical conditions in their families. With the help of eBlood Services App, four units of blood can be requisitioned at a time. Blood Bank will wait for as long as 12 hours for the person to collect it. The app will make it easy for those in need to request for blood units at IRCS NHQ.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said, “People who need blood can get registered on this app and know from where they will get blood.” Vardhan said, “In the last few months, I received several complaints from people facing difficulties in accessing safe blood. Many people require blood-related services regularly because of certain medical conditions in their families. Through this app, four units of blood can be requisitioned at a time and the blood bank will wait for 12 hours for the person to collect it.” At a time when the country is going through a pandemic, the mobile app will provide succour to all those who are in dire need of blood,” the health minister said. Users with this app can know the live status of blood availability at the national headquarters of the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) blood bank in Delhi. He appealed to people to come forward to donate blood as their contribution is required more than ever now.

All 89 IRCS blood banks and 1,100 branches across the country have collected more than 1,00,000 units of blood through in-house donations and from around 2,000 donation camps organized during the lockdown. Also, more than 38,000 blood donors registered with NHQ Blood Bank have been contacted and motivated to donate blood. The NHQ Blood Bank conducted 55 blood donation camps collecting 2,896 units of blood. Blood has been issued to 7,113 patients which include 2,923 thalassaemic patients as well as to the government hospitals like Lady Hardinge (624 units) and AIIMS, Delhi (378 Units). The IRCS has served more than 3,00,00,000 cooked meals and provided ration to more than 11,00,000 families.

ABC ANALYSIS

Every single item we order does not have equal value. Some parts cost more. Some are used more frequently. Some are both. ABC inventory analysis helps categorize those items so we can understand which ones should receive our full attention.

As the name suggests, this inventory categorization technique groups your inventory in three buckets: A, B, & C.

  • A’ items are the most important to an organization. This material should receive your full focus due to its high usage rate or a high price (or both).
  • B’ items have a lower dollar volume and are thus less important than ‘As’.
  • Finally, ‘C’ items are the low rung on the ladder. Out of the three groups, you’ll have the highest number of ‘C’ items, but they will account for the lowest portion for your inventory value.

The pareto principle states that 80% of your inventory costs comes from just 20% of your inventory. This is known as the 80/20 rule and it helps shape the results of your ABC Analysis. LeanDNA recommends the following breakdown as the optimal way to determine the three categories:

  • ‘A’ items – 80% of the annual inventory value of your items (likely made up of just 20% of your items)
  • ‘B’ items – 15% of the annual inventory value of your items (likely made up of 30% of your items)
  • ‘C’ items – 5% of the annual inventory value of your items (likely made up of 50% of your items)

ABC analysis has a lot of similarities to RRS analysis – “Runner, Repeater, Stranger analysis,” that is. Runners are your ‘A’ items, Repeaters are your ‘B’ items, and Strangers are your ‘C’ items.

In order to determine which parts fall into which categories, use the following steps:

  1. Determine inventory value by multiplying the price of an item by the consumption volume of that item in a year period. Simply put, item cost * annual consumption = inventory value.
  2. Repeat step 1 for all items to calculate total inventory value.
  3. Sort your parts from highest inventory value to lowest.
  4. Calculate each item’s percentage of total inventory value. That item’s inventory value / sum of all inventory values = item % of total inventory value.
  5. Group the parts that account for the highest 80% of your total inventory and allocate them as ‘A’ items. Group the parts that account for the next 15% and allocate them as ‘B’ items. Group all remaining items as ‘C’.

Gandhi preach us more!

Have you at any point longed for world with harmony and thriving for all mankind- a world where we love and care for each other notwithstanding the differences in our way of life, religion and lifestyle?

I frequently feel vulnerable when I see the world in disturbance, an after effect of contrast between our goals. Mahatma Gandhi was the man who inspired the world with Ahimsa, his faith in peace, and non- animosity. His life was a message – a message of harmony overpower, of discovering approaches to accommodate our disparities and of living in amicability with difference and love notwithstanding for our adversary. His message was as clear to his enemies as it was to his followers. He believed we can resolve best our issues if we set out to have a constructive discussion with our enemy. “Be the change you wish to see in the world ” was the statement he gave. We frequently like to complain about the system that we need to follow. But before changing the system it’s significant that we see inside ourselves and try to fix our faults. Self- realization is one of the ways to achieve success. Pour out love and respect for every individual you come across, and don’t form biases based on their background. Each simple act matters. We are responsible for our future, whatever actions we do in present determine our future. Be a life long learner, learn as if you were to live forever.

Gandhi and our nation have suffered a lot under British, but instead of taking up arms against them, he chose the path of non-violence. See how we enjoy our freedom now. He taught us revenge is never a solution, it doesn’t lead to peace or happiness. One needs to learn to forgive. It is important to be true to yourself, no matter whatever the consequences are. Stand up for what you feel is right, even if it displeases a lot of people.

Gandhi’s musings can play a tremendous role in taking the human culture forward, towards the ideal objective. His lessons and analyses are more legitimate today than any time in recent memory, particularly when we are attempting to discover answers for overall greed, corruption, violence, and runaway which are putting a heavy burden on
the world. We as a nation continue to fail him. But like for every other thing, here is also hope. We can bring harmony to our world by spreading love and peace. Although the task is daunting, Gandhi has shown us how a fragile man can achieve incredible magnitude with a staunch belief to practice peace and harmony.
Will you take the pledge to become the change you want to see in the world?

Stop animal cruelty

The use of animals to entertain human beings is wrong from the welfare point of view because: … it involves the animal in performances that are foreign to their natural behavior. It may involve cruelty during the show (e.g. bullfighting, rodeos) it may involve cruelty in training the animal.

cruelty in circuses

The wild animals commonly abused in circuses are extremely stressed by circus conditions. The loud noise of the music, the cheers of the crowd and the dizzying lights all disorientate and cause stress to wild animals. Over prolonged periods this can result in abnormal behaviors and health problems related to anxiety.

Animals do not want to perform painful, confusing and demeaning tricks, but animals in circuses have no choice. Trainers use abusive tools, including whips and electric prods, to force them to perform.

Not only are elephants, horses, hippopotamuses, birds, dogs, camels and other animals often beaten by trainers, but they also suffer from loneliness, boredom and frustration from being locked in cramped cages or chained for months on end as they travel from city to city. Instead of being loaded and unloaded like furniture into trucks and warehouses, these animals should be in their natural habitats – exploring, seeking mates and raising families.

In a research found that, an elephant age has been minimize due to lock under the cages.

A couple of cases of cruelty towards animals have come to light in the past few weeks which have enraged many and made one ponder as to whether the laws in existence are sufficient enough to protect animals. The most recent of all incidents of cruelty that have taken place this year, are that of killing of a pregnant elephant from kerela, a pregnant cow from Himachal Pradesh and a jackal from Tamil Nadu. I state these incidents together as these have the same method used to seriously injure/kill them. In all three cases, the poor animals were fed explosives covered with some kind of edibles.

In 2019 an incident came to light where in Uttar Pradesh a tigress was brutally beaten with sticks, under a protected zone of the Pilibhit Tiger Reserve. Another inhumane incident saw the light of the day in September 2019 when a video of a nilgai (antelope) being pushed into a pit in Bihar and buried alive got viral. It is unimaginable to think that New Delhi has its very own ‘Serial dog killer’ who allegedly beat, stabbed and killed three dogs and a puppy.

Cruelty in zoos

The process of segregating animals from a group according to desired or undesired characteristics; the process often ends with the segregated animal being killed. Several reasons are given for culling in zoos, including a lack of space, the genes of the culled animals are over-represented in the zoo population, the (young) animal might be attacked or killed, or the culled animals have contracted a disease.

Because animals in zoos are killed for many reasons, such as old age or disease, just as pet animals are often euthanized because of health problems, it is beyond the scope of this list to identify every case where an animal is killed in a zoo.

There is more to treating animals in an appropriate way than keeping them healthy: It’s possible (and used to be common) for zoos to keep animals in perfect physical shape, but in conditions that cause the animals to display serious behavioral problems.

These are the reasons, Many of the animals lost their ages under the cages of zoos , and we think they are entertaining us, we go in a zoos and purchase tickets not for the entrainment but we purchase those  tickets for giving more enhancement of cruelty on animals not even in zoos but also on circuses.

Law against this cruelty

The Supreme Court in 2014, in a case titled – Animal Welfare Board of India v. Nagraja&Ors., recognized the Right to Life as enshrined under Article 21 of the COI, to extend to animals as well.NGOs and animal rights activists condemn these brazen killings and inhumane acts however there is now an immediate need to make stricter laws.

Stop animal cruelty

Now, the time we should understand that animals are not entertainers for us ,they also have a rights to live out of cages without any interference of humans ,humans also don’t like interference of anybody so why they interfere in the animals life

These all things written above shows the cruelty of human beings on animals.so, it’s the time stop animal cruelty not even in India but all over the world .

Animals just need your love and care don’t harm them for your business and entertainment ,stop doing these things stop animal cruelty
