Education is the process of facilitating learning, or the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits. Educational methods include teaching, training, storytelling, discussion and directed research
As we all are aware, June is pride month I want to make a mention of how the pandemic has given a certain impact on The LGBTQ community or the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer community is one of the most actively growing communities in today’s world. The Covid-19 pandemic is the most recent world tragedy which has caused a lot of tension among various groups of people psychologically and physically. Under these groups, I would like to capture the plight of what the LGBTQ community is going through. Individuals belonging to this society face a lot of social disadvantages and mental health disparities and due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this has been much exaggerated.
Due to this worldwide pandemic a lot of the students belonging to this community, are being forced back to their homes where they still aren’t accepted for the identity they have chosen or they are left on the streets to find their supports. The pandemic has created an utmost need for the people for mental and psychological help but due to the trauma being put through they are unable to get so. A recent study was performed on certain students and the result of the study to be found was that nearly half of LGBT college students have immediate families that do not support or know their LGBT identity. Approximately 60% of sampled LGBT college students were experiencing distress, anxiety, and depression during the pandemic.
A lot of the young individuals who still haven’t chosen to come out are undergoing major problems as well due to the growing pressure by staying around their parents who might have created an environment where there is fear being instilled. Due to this fear, people go through everything alone and choose not to ask for help due to the unavailability of easy help such as doctors and counselors. Events play a major role in creating more awareness among the group by meeting people who are similar in their thoughts and mentalities but events such as gay pride events and pride marches have all been canceled which has also severely affected the community. People are given bias when it comes to healthcare as well because of the mindset of people who haven’t learned to accept the community.
The countries which seem most developed in the run against Covid-19 still show such small theories against the community which attacks them. I would like to speak of an example of the UK where gay and bisexual men were not allowed to donate their plasma to help people out. Why? Because they were gay and bisexual. In the US, gay bars and LGBTQ-friendly pubs have been shut down due to insufficient funds and support which isn’t being provided adequately to them.
It’s saddening to see how normal human beings who have committed nothing except accepting themselves are being treated even by the higher society. I would like to personally urge everyone to help anyone they know going through a tough phase as things like this play a very important role in their lives and they would require someone with them. It might be a friend, It might be a sibling but they are still the same people even after they choose to follow a different identity.
Kolkata, May 27, 2021 : Very Severe Cyclone Yaas with winds gusting up to 155 km per hour made its landfall between north of Dhamra and Bhanga coast in Odisha on May 26, 2021. The name has been given by Oman. ‘Yaas’ means “a Jasmine-like fragrance tree” in persian. Cyclone Yaas was the second cyclonic storm to hit India within a week after ‘Tauktae’. Strong winds and heavy tidal waves lashed several coastal towns and villages in Odisha and West Bengal.
How are cyclones formed?
Cyclones are formed over the oceanic water in the tropical region. In this region, the sunlight is highest which results in warming of land and water surface. Due to warming of the surface, the warm moist air over the ocean rises upwards following which cool air rushes in to fill the void, they too get warm and rise — the cycle continues.
But what creates the spin?
Wind always blows from high pressure to low pressure areas. High pressure areas are created in the cold region while low is created in the warm regions. Polar regions are high pressure areas as the amount of sunlight here is less than the tropical region. So, wind blows from polar regions to tropical regions.
What happens when a cyclone hits the land?
Cyclone dissipates when it hits the land as the warm water that rises and creates space for cool water is no longer available on land. Also, the moist air that rises up forms clouds leading to rains that accompany gusting winds during cyclones.
Cyclone Yaas inundated low-lying areas and uprooted trees, and claimed at least three lives — two in Odisha and one in West Bengal. Farmlands throughout Odisha, West Bengal, and some in Jharkhand were damaged by flooding. Railway and marine activities were halted due to Yaas.Hours before the landfall, in Digha, a coastal town of West Bengal, tall tidal waves breached embankments and flooded villages around a kilometre from the sea. Tajpur, Shankarpur and Mandarmani, all coastal towns were affected by the cyclone. Shops, huts, roads, resorts and hotels along the beach were damaged as the waves pounded them. Over 1,100 villages in West Bengal were submerged in floodwaters caused by storm surges, leaving an estimated 500,000 homeless. Cyclone Yaas ravaged West Bengal badly after cyclone Amphan which formed last year.
The cyclone has damaged more than 3 lakh houses and affected about 1 crore people. 15 lakh people from coastal areas have been evacuated”, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said. She also announced relief for affected people. In the state of Odisha, over 120 villages were flooded by the rains produced by Yaas. Three seaside villages in Balasore district — Banajoka, Charigochhia and Naupalagadi — were inundated. A flash flood was also reported in Basudevpur block of Bhadrak district, affecting 10 villages. People in the village dug up a road to divert seawater that had entered a residential area. Two victims were crushed under trees uprooted by the winds. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday evening reviewed the post-cyclone situation and announced ration and other supplies for the affected people.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi met both Chief Ministers of Odisha and West Bengal and announced Rs. 1000 crore for Odisha, West Bengal and Jharkhand.
“If You Are Working On Something That You Really Care About, You Don’t Have To Be Pushed. The Vision Pulls You.” – Steve Jobs
Success can have several definitions – mainly – it is an accomplishment of an aim or purpose – achieving your goals can also be called success.
We all crave for being successful in life. Some want to achieve extraordinary success, and some are having small goals – however – any goal being achieved is definitely a success. It motivates us and pushes us to have more goals in life as there are many milestones to be achieved. If you are genuinely passionate about something that you are aiming for, no one can stop you from becoming successful.
Certain traits are crucial to attaining success in life – 5 of the most important ones are:
1. Self-confidence
Self Confidence mainly revolves around trusting yourself, your judgments, abilities as well as your skills. You would not be stressed about everything if you are confident about yourself. You can understand yourself and will learn from your mistakes, and gain more confidence. You will take more chances, which will increase your chances of becoming a successful person.
2. Willpower
Willpower is one of the most important traits to possess in your journey to success. It is the ability to control one’s own actions, emotions, or urges. If we do not possess willpower we will never strive to be the best, only willpower can move us forward towards our goals and achievements. People with willpower have the motivation and discipline to create positive as well as successful habits and have a much better chance of succeeding in life. Willpower pushes us to achieve our goals and motivates us too. Successful people set goals for themselves which makes them more focused and willpower then comes into the picture – you end up sacrificing and adjusting your life to achieve success and finish your goal. Willpower is the ability to resist short-term gratification in pursuit of long-term goals or objectives.
3. Hardwork
I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it. ~ Thomas Jefferson, former President of the United States
There is no secret to becoming successful, and hard work plays a massive role in success. Hard work also helps in becoming more confident. There is a guaranteed achievement in working hard as there are no shortcuts to success. It also allows you to lead a regret-free life and a much more fulfilled and respected life.
4. Patience
It takes time for a plant to grow. When you sow a seed, you cannot expect overnight results, if you do so, you will be giving up very soon, and that is quite the opposite of success. Rome was not built in a day, right? Patience is actually the key to success. It is important as with patience, you can keep going to reach your goals, without being much stressed about it. It reduces the negative emotions and helps us have a positive mindset towards life.
5. Eagerness to learn
Thirst for knowledge and skilling up is super important in today’s competitive world, where trends change and new things and innovations keep coming up. It is important to be eager to learn new things to prevent your skillset from becoming obsolete. Eagerness to learn also helps you build the best techniques and the newest skills and knowledge, making you ready to conquer the world and achieve success easily.
Of course, there are many more traits that determine one’s success, however, these five traits are of utmost importance and should be considered as these traits will make the journey of success a lot quicker.
We agree to many requests not because we want to do them, but because we don’t want to be seen as rude, arrogant, or unhelpful. Often, you have to consider saying no to someone you will interact with again in the future—your co-worker, your spouse, your family and friends.
Saying no to these people can be particularly difficult because we like them and want to support them. (Not to mention, we often need their help too.) Collaborating with others is an important element of life. The thought of straining the relationship outweighs the commitment of our time and energy.
For this reason, it can be helpful to be gracious in your response. Do whatever favors you can, and be warm-hearted and direct when you have to say no.
But even after we have accounted for these social considerations, many of us still seem to do a poor job of managing the tradeoff between yes and no. We find ourselves over-committed to things that don’t meaningfully improve or support those around us, and certainly don’t improve our own lives.
Perhaps one issue is how we think about the meaning of yes and no.
China’s artificial sun on earth might seem like a phrase from a fairy tale. However, now it’s a reality. Experimental advanced superconducting Tokamak (EAST) of China has won the epithet of sun on earth. It is an energy generation machine which uses the same principle that the sun uses. The tokamak became 10 times hotter than the sun for 20 seconds. It is a big milestone in the field of science. It will unleash the global quest for clean, green and unlimited energy. It is also sustainable as it produces comparatively less waste products. EAST Reactor is located at the institute of plasma physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Hefei, China. It is an advanced nuclear fusion experimental research device. Nuclear fusion is a reaction in which one or more atoms combine to form one or more different atoms and subatomic particles. The sun (or any other star in the universe) generates its energy by this process in which Hydrogen nuclei combine to form Helium and two neutrinos. The east project is part of of the the international thermonuclear experimental reactor (ITER) project. It will become the world’s largest nuclear fusion reactor when it becomes operational in 2035. ITER is a collaboration of 35 nations which started in 1985. Its headquarter is located in France. Its aim is to build world’s largest tokamak, an experimental machine with the ability of producing energy from fusion reaction. Tokamak is a large vessel inside which heat energy is produced and the walls of the vessel absorb the heat which can be used to produce steam. The steam can rotate turbines and then produce electricity vis-a-vis generators like other conventional means of power generation. In the midst of climate change and global warming, nuclear fusion provides a carbon free source of power and is our chance to reverse the implications of climate change. ITER members include China, European Union, United States, Russia, South Korea, Japan and India. These seven members share the cost of project construction, operation and decommissioning. The European Union contribute the largest portion of construction costs whereas the remainder is shared equally by others. Experimental results and intellectual property are also exchanged between these 7 Members. The member countries have shared responsibility in designing the machine. Likewise, India was given the task of Designing the chamber that can maintain very low temperatures. It is called cryostat and will be manufactured by India (Larson and Turbo). Once completed it will be the largest stainless steel high-vacuum pressure chamber to be ever built . It will provide high vacuum, ultra cool environment for the ITER vacuum vessel and the superconducting magnets. The target for its completion is 2025. If we compare fusion technology with the present nuclear fission reactors, we find that nuclear fusion generates far more nuclear radioactive waste although it does not emit any greenhouse gases. On the other hand, nuclear fusion produces comparatively negligible amount of waste. Tremendous heat and pressure is applied on hydrogen atoms so that they can fuse. Fuel needs to be heated to temperatures over 150,000,000 degrees centigrades. The plasma soup of subatomic particles formed henceforth have to be kept away from the walls of the reactor to prevent cooling down and losing its potential to generate large amounts of energy. The only drawback with fusion technology is that making a vessel to contain hot plasma and maintaining stability for longer period of time is a challenge. The scientists are working on it and soon they will deliver the results. EAST is a feat in the sense that it brought humanity closer to a cleaner and greener form of energy. Earlier in 2020 South Korea’s KSTAR (Korea superconducting Tokamak advanced research) achieved extremely high temperatures for 20 seconds. China broke their world record. With this page the wait for Earth’s own sun will soon be over.
According to Srinivas Iyengar Indian Literature means is a literature produced in various state like Assam, Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and other states but produced in English language.
The word Indo-Anglican was first used in 1883 in Calcutta “specimen compositions from native students”, Srinivas Iyengar used it in 1943. He advised the Indian writers that English has become as our language, though it is primarily from the Englishmen’s. he asks the Englishmen to welcome and appreciate Indian writers in English, he said that Indian writing in English is compared to Shakuntala and he asks the Indian writers to be gracious and accept the writings.
According to Srinivasa Iyengar there are three types of Indian writers in English. First those who have acquired their education in English schools and universities. Secondly, Indians who have settled in abroad but are constantly in touch in changing the surrounding and traditions of their country of adoption. Finally, those who have acquired English as their second language.
After Independence more journals came in English and university publication is also greater in English. He says the Yeats disapproves of using a foreign language. Another Irish person approves it and said that allowing English will also allow that allowing English will allow Hindi. He says that English is a ruling language in India and also said that both English men and Indians started accepting Indian writing in English.
Indian writers in English had more publication and popularity and also the leaders who are well versed in both native language and English. Toru Dutt, Sarojini Naidu and Sri Aurobindo wrote in English and not in Bengali. They used English to represent the Indian Culture and spirit.
He said some negatives that were pointed on Indian writing in English, they were,
It is called a parasitic literature.
It is like one animal imitating the other.
Felt poor when compared to their own language.
Finally, we are here to see the Indian criticism in Indian writing,
Indian critical works should also have strong standard and base. Translation of terms and tradition from Indian language to English is difficult. An Indian writing must satisfy both Indian and English readers.
We need an experimental critical approach and we should approach this literature with open mind.
During this pandemic period, people in various states are getting affected a lot. Especially some people staying out of the country who are away from their natives are getting financially affected. Most individuals were fired off from their jobs, no food for many of the street animals and so on. This led to mental pressure in people, which in-turn had also contrived their daily lifestyle.
Is it possible to make covid test for the whole masses of people in the country?
In-spite of being possible, it is a challenge for the higher officials, to take over this issue and solve it in a short period of time. Besides this, people are also in motion from state to state, district to district and even from country to country. Because of this, the work of the corporation, healthcare industries, mainly the doctors and cops is rapidly increasing. If one group of family has tested for covid, the work is over for that time alone. But some individuals might enter the family from various states or districts or even countries. This would lead to testing again and again, where the scarcity arises. Testing stays the foundation of clinical reaction to any illness and to any pandemic specifically. Numerous new tests are currently accessible on the lookout however tragically, we actually don’t completely think about some basic issues around test accessibility and test qualities.
Initiatives taken & to be taken by the esteemed Government
State governments and well-being authorities ought to foster systems for various kinds of tests. Enormous numbers of SARS-CoV-2 contamination are gentle or asymptomatic in nature and may stay undetected by the observation framework, particularly with the changes in the infection. Subsequently, populace based sero-studies are considered as an important apparatus in assessing the extent of the populace recently contaminated with SARS-CoV2-Various state governments have done sero reviews, that can assist the public authority with choosing their testing strategies. At an administration level sero-studies are basic to comprehend and screen the pattern in the commonness of the Covid-19 infection; at an individual level we should get ourselves checked for the disease at the soonest so ideal treatment can occur.
Parcel of work has been finished by the public authority to make mindfulness and guarantee that the test stays reasonable for the populace on the loose. With the quantity of cases expanding regularly, it’s an ideal opportunity to reconsider how we might speed up without settling on the exactness of the outcome. There is news that with the expanding tension in the labs, it is requiring 2-3 days for them to report a test outcome. It is currently an ideal opportunity for us to assess other testing procedures, such as going for Covid Antigen test dependent on Enhanced Chemiluminescence Technology which has similar exactness to RT-PCR yet can give results at a much quicker speed.
There is part of discussion going on the adequacy and exactness of indicative tests . As you would see it, which one is ideal here in India and why?
It’s accepted that what we need is mass trying by an innovation which has excellent affectability and explicitness, with a higher throughput-so the clinicians and the patients can get their outcomes at the most punctual. The clinicians can follow up on it soon without agonizing over the exactness of the results. We are for the most part mindful of the difficulties that a considerable lot of the nations confronted concerning the precision of the Rapid test. There is no uncertainty that between the two, RT-PCR is a superior alternative yet very much like “Equity postponed is equity denied,” I would say that deferred result anyway exact, would not be of any worth to the patients if not written about time. This is the place where VITROS SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Test turns out to be helpful. Dissimilar to RT-PCR which requires part of stuff, VITROS SARS-CoV-2 Antigen is a simple test which should be possible on a computerized stage with a similar exactness to that of RT-PCR .
Some people want their story of life to be an adventure. They want to climb high mountains or do things that no one has ever done before. But the greatest adventure is to know own self, to know the real us, the one that never changes even if your body ages. Have we ever worked on our relation with our self ? or , have we been more concerned with what other people think of us? we worry more about how our neighbors, friends, colleagues see us because we have learned to measure our success and status with the scales of this world.
But at the end we have to realize that apart from excelling in all the spheres of materialistic world, we also have to make sure that we do succeed in being a REAL HUMAN BEING.
After so many years of the formulation of the one child policy in China it has now moved to another policy which is the three children policy .
There are certain reasons behind this new policy after so many years and also many lives of the millions of people have been affected by this policy .
Following are a set of key reasons :
Lower Birth Rate = In China only 12 million new born babies are born this year . It is certainly the lowest number of births in China from a long time .
This is not only the first time when the number of births in China is very low . After the one child policy which was first implemented in 1960’s the graph of births has gone down gradually .
They must learn from India in which so many children are born every second and which is about to overtake China’s population in the upcoming years .
Higher Proportion of Old age Population = Old aged people are a burden for the country . The people above the age of 60 years constitute to nearly 60 percentage of the entire China’s population .
As they do not earn any income and do not perform any economic activity they are simply an increasing burden for the economy as a whole . There in no addition in the national income or GDP from such group .
Failure of the Two Child Policy = The government has realized it earlier thereby it set up a two child policy a few years ago . But all its efforts were in vain as it did not showed an fruitful results in favor of the economy .
These were all the reasons that forced the Government of China to formulate a new policy based on which it formed the three child policy .
Our country India has always been renowned for gaining education since the Vedic period. Education is one of the most vital resources which shapes the child’s future. The contradictions and debates upon the education system have been going for ages. These discussions have helped to expose the loopholes present in our education. Let us talk about those loopholes and their solutions.
1) We all know about the shuffling process that certain schools tend to follow. The purpose behind this was to enhance the social skills of the child. However, this creates instability for both students and teachers. We never get to experience an understanding bond between a teacher and a student. After studying from a particular teacher, a student gets familiar with the teaching manner; he/she can grasp the concept instantly. Yet, when this bond comes to an end, it affects the studies of the student. In addition, the student finds it challenging to make new companions to whom they can turn to comfort. The solution is quite clear; his process of shuffling needs to conclude.
2) Most of the students have trouble finding an opportunity where they can showcase their creativity. The reason behind it is that there is less room for practical knowledge. The students learn and give examinations based on their textbooks. We need to increase the space for creativity by inventing new events and competitions.
3) In addition, the schools tend to focus more on studies than moral values. As a result, the student fails to respect the dignity of others. We should make them learn how to respect and stop pointing out other’s flaws. An ideal student should be able to lift other’s morale and persuade them to flaunt their flaws. An excellent way to this is by organizing interactive life skills sessions.
4) Furthermore, we all have felt weariness while sitting in the class due to lack of interest. It is a very general problem; faced by all the students. The reason behind this lack of curiosity. We need to wonder about teaching techniques to generate interest amongst the students. This will make the classroom sessions more interactive and fun.
5) Another problem that arises is a lack of inauthentic learning. The students fail to understand the obstacles of life. They are not taught about income tax or salary. The bookish knowledge perhaps fails to help them overcome the real problems in life. The teaching methods should be shaped in such a way that moral values and practical knowledge are considered more significant. For this, we need to adapt to modern teaching methods and analyze the best way students grasp their concepts.
6) The major downside of the current system of education is that it is not simply affordable. Nowadays, more than 37% of people are living below the poverty level. Hence, they cannot afford education even at the primary level
Moreover, India is a developing country; the present scenario of the Indian education system stands a chance to be renewed. The sole step to be taken is to boost ourselves. The answer lies in the question.- How to improve the quality of education? The answer is “Education”. The vital way to improve education is education.
Years back having completed my degree I was toying with many ideas that flitted across my mind what would be the future hold for me?what was my goal?as l pondered over these thoughts. My father put forth before me a suggestion _become a teacher _I was stunned for l considered myself to be very timid and an introvert! But believe me l have never ever regretted my decisions of taking up teaching as my profession As I began my career l suddenly realized that a whole class of valuable children hung on to the words l spoke.IT dawned onto me that children were soft, supple, delicate, young minds that could be molded. Their transformation into strong, healthy minded individuals was reward enough for the years of toil spent in the classroom. Swami vivekananda said The true teacher is one who can come down to the level of her student,,A true teacher is a nation builder. It is said that we are the makers of our own destiny. Do feel that teachers have a great role to play as they build, rebuild, shape and reshape the future of a country .these best teachers are those that show you where to look but don’t tell you what to see”,said Alexander. K.Trenfor.An ideal teacher uses all her skills to develop and nature the interest and personality of her students. A good teacher has a dynamic part to play in the lives of students. She imparts knowledge, kindness, their ambition, helps them, goals them to shed their inhibitions, imbibe good values and overall develop into responsible citizens of our country .Rabindranath Tagore has beautifully said, A lamp cannot light another until it continues to burn.so also a teacher must Constantly update her skills to feed the hungry minds with a treasure trove of knowledge. New methods, new techniques must all be in their Forte.Aristotle has said, progress of a nation is decided….not elsewhere but in the schools where the minds of future citizens are being molded.Teachers have a crucial role to play in society as thousands of children, who have been entrusted to them a tender age pass through their hands as young adolescents. Teachers have to plY the role of a facilitator who gently guide the enthusiastic young minds to become full fledged individuals. An education that reaches the heart of student can be the most rewarding gift for a teacher. The love and affection showered on teachers by student can be the most rewarding gift for a teacher.by student cannot be compared to any other asset that a teacher can possess. As years roll by and hundreds of students walk all over the world having found a niche for themselves in this wonderful world.,somewhere the heart of a teacher swells with pride that/he/she been instrumental in playing a part in their success .plants cannot leave without nature is so meaningful and beautiful so nature had the ability to balance the environment and ecosystem valley and water so this natural and no beauty in the world cannot compare the beauty of nature planting trees will bring more oxygen but these two has a meaning one cannot leave without another nature need plants, plants need environment like wise student needs teacher ,buy teacher cannot leave without student is success of student without these nature and students these teacher and plants cannot survive in this world this is important in our life.Thank you dedicated to all my teachers and all environment supporters
A 91-year-old woman from Kumligaon village in South West Garo Hills district of Meghalaya has defeated COVID-19 after contracting the virus two weeks ago.
Anati Koch, who was already bedridden due to hip dislocation, had tested positive for COVID-19 two weeks ago after an ASHA worker, who was nursing her, contracted the virus. During the 10 day isolation period, she could not eat properly due to loss of smell and appetite. However, on the 11th day when she was tested, the results came out to be negative.
Eighteen other locals from Kumligaon village, who had tested positive, have also recovered.
The Sterlite Copper Plant in Thoothukudi commissioned an oxygen cylinder bottling plant at an investment outlay of ₹11 crore on Thursday.
According to a press release, the new facility can produce 400 medical-grade oxygen cylinders per day. A senior official at the site said that with the support of overseas technology providers, they were able to implement the processes at a quick pace to capture gaseous oxygen as well.
A supreme Court directive Sterlite had been given permission only to produce oxygen from its plant after the company gave an undertaking to produce and distribute it free of cost from its Thoothukudi facility.
On May 12, the plant started operating, but the following day, , dug to a technical snag ,the production had to be suspended for a week. Since May 19, the company had been producing oxygen and supplying it to many southern district government hospitals. The second plant too has also started generating oxygen. About 500 MT had been distributed so far, the official added.
Sterlite copper to open its copper smelting plant in Thoothukudi to produce oxygen for a four-month period amid surging covid 19 cases. The latest move paves way for the partial reopening of the controversial copper smelter that was closed in 2018 by the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board over pollution concerns.
Responding to the state government’s resolution, Vedanta in a statement said that it was committed to making the entire production capacity of 1,000 tonnes available for the purpose of producing medical grade oxygen and that it was working to dispatch it to critical areas in Tamil Nadu on priority and subsequently across the country
The copper smelter plant was long-opposed by the local residents for polluting their environment as well as causing a range of health problems in the area. It has the capacity to produce 400,000 tonnes of copper cathode a year. In March-April 2018, there were several mass protests against the company’s plans of a proposed expansion.
The protesters allege that the pollution generated by the unit contaminated the water bodies in the region, and claimed that they were facing severe health problems. Environmental activists also expressed concern since copper smelting leads to various kinds of pollution and they must be located far away from the residential areas.
And the important Of copper Copper is a ductile metal and commonly found in nature. It is a pure metal, which is well known for its electrical conductivity. Due to its ductile nature, it is mostly used in construction and plumbing industries throughout the world. Metallic copper can be easily molded or shaped, with the reddish color it is found in mixtures of metals such as brass and bronze.
In the solution This process can be applied not just for Sterlite plant, but also to all copper smelters across the country. However, such environmental projects can be relatively costly and many companies could hesitate. So government can help them with form of subsidies in terms of equipment import. Older plants have a history of polluting the surrounding area, where metal dust may have spread toxic pollutants over wide areas and several years of acid releases can result in greater environmental damage.
Food Processing Industries Minister Narendra Singh Tomar today virtually inaugurated the Indus Best Mega Food Park at Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Tomar said, the Mega Food Park will ensure value addition, longer shelf life for farm produce, better price realization for farmers, excellent storage facility and will provide an alternate market for farmers in the region.
He said, the park will prove to be a big boost to the growth of the food processing sector in the State. He said, it will also provide direct and indirect employment to about five thousand persons and benefit about 25 thousand farmers. The park has been set up in over 63 acres of land at a project cost of over Rs 145 crore.
The Government is implementing the Mega Food Park Scheme in the country to give a major boost to the food processing sector by adding value and reducing food wastage at each stage of the supply chain with a particular focus on perishables.
Meghalaya Home Minister Lahkmen Rymbui has said that the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is likely to join the rescue operation for trapped miners in a Coal mine at Umpleng in East Jaintia Hills district very soon .
Meghalaya Home Minister Lahkmen Rymbui has said that the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is likely to join the rescue operation for trapped miners in a Coal mine at Umpleng in East Jaintia Hills district very soon. Five labourers got trapped in the 500 feet deep mine after the coal mining tragedy. The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and the Fire and Emergency Services had started rescue works since the incident.
The Home Minister informed that the rescue work is going to be very difficult due to inclement weather. He lauded the police for managing to arrest the owner of the coal mines within three days after the incident. He stated that the contractors who had engaged these labourers are still absconding. He said, police are making all possible efforts to nab the persons involved in the incident.
Cultural heritage includes: cultures, customs, beliefs, rites, rituals, ceremonies, indigenous knowledge, social customs and traditions, arts, crafts, music, political and ideological beliefs that influence culture and behavior, history, practices concerning the natural environment, religious and scientific traditions.
CONTENT:
“Heritage” is a property, something that is inherited, passed down from previous generations. In the case of “cultural heritage,” the heritage doesn’t consist of money or property, but of culture, values and traditions. Cultural heritage implies a shared bond, our belonging to a community.Cultural heritage and natural history of a nation has a very high value and is unique.Culture and its heritage reflect and shape values, beliefs, and aspirations, thereby defining a people’s national identity. It is important to preserve our cultural heritage, because it keeps our integrity as a people.
EXAMPLES:
Cultural heritage includes tangible culture (such as buildings, monuments, landscapes, books, works of art, and artifacts), intangible culture (such as folklore, traditions, language, and knowledge), and natural heritage (including culturally significant landscapes, and biodiversity).
TYPES:
There are three types of sites: cultural, natural, and mixed.
HERITAGE PLANNING:
Heritage Planning is the area of planning that deals with the preservation, conservation, rehabilitation, restoration and management of built heritage resources. Built heritage can include sites, structures, buildings, and landscapes of historic, architectural or contextual value.1.relating to the habits, beliefs, and traditions of a certain people. 2 : relating to the arts (as music, dance, or painting) Other Words from cultural.
IN MY OWN WORDS:
Culture is the characteristics and knowledge of a particular group of people, encompassing language, religion, cuisine, social habits, music and arts. … The word “culture” derives from a French term, which in turn derives from the Latin “colere,” which means to tend to the earth and grow, or cultivation and nurture.
“A people without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture is like a tree without roots. A concerted effort to preserve our heritage is a vital link to our cultural, educational, aesthetic, inspirational and economic legacies – all of the things that quite literally make us who we are.”
Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma chaired the first meeting of the Group of Ministers (GoM) to examine the GST concession and exemption of COVID relief materials.
Following the meeting, he informed that a consensus could not be reached on what percentage should be brought down as per the recommendations of the Fitment Committee. The meeting examined the need for GST concession and exemption for different items and relief required in the COVID situation, he said.
He mentioned that there was a recommendation by the Fitment Committee that was placed in the GST Council meeting which took place a week back. The GoM discussed almost all items recommended by the Fitment Committee and also discussed the benefits and tax reductions that would directly benefit the people. The Chief Minister is the convener of the committee.

India is still not out of the woods as far as unemployment is concerned after a year when the lockdown was imposed to contain the spread of deadly COVID-19 on March 25 last year as pandemic-induced job loss has not tapered off consistently.
The government had imposed a lockdown to curb the spread of the pandemic but this impacted economic and commercial activities and resulted in job loss and later on the exodus of migrant workers which rocked the entire nation.
According to the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE) data, the unemployment rate was recorded at 6.9 per cent in February 2021 which is slightly better than 7.8 per cent in the same month last year and 8.8 per cent in March 2020, during which lockdown was imposed.
The data showed that the unemployment rate had peaked to 23.5 per cent in April and remained at 21.7 per cent in May. It started tapering off from June onward when it was recorded at 10.2 per cent in the month and further improved to 7.4 per cent in July.
However, the unemployment rate again rose slightly to 8.3 in August and improved to 6.7 per cent in September last year, as per CMIE data.
In October, unemployment again rose slightly to 7 per cent and then eased to 6.5 per cent in November last year as per the data.
The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted all the sectors of society, most importantly, the educational institutions. Schools and colleges are closed in most parts of the country and the government has been encouraging online learning as a method to smoothly continue the education of all students. High-end schools and colleges have managed to conduct this transition from offline to online learning very efficiently. However, for many schools and colleges in our country, this still remains a herculean task.
The challenges of online learning are multifaceted. It’s time for the people to understand all the aspects of this new educational change; the good, the bad and the ugly.
The Good
Online learning helps students go beyond the content taught in class, and help access content on all global platforms and learn the niche of the field they are pursuing. This helps students learn at their own pace, time and schedule. Students can learn from the comfort of their homes, and hence no travel issues are faced.
Students also gain access to recorded lectures, which helps them clear their doubts, as they can always re-watch the videos whenever they want. For some others, who find learning in a large classroom intimidating, this helps them to learn in a relaxed manner. However, when online learning goes from being optional to being the standard form all throughout the nation, which is when it becomes a problem.
The bad
For students reading this article, answer this question. How many of you all keep your videos on during the lectures? I am certain that the numbers will be really less. This is one of the major obstacles faced during online learning. No face to face interaction,
The teacher finds it very hard to conduct their lectures, if they are not able to interact and talk to the students. Sometimes, teachers struggle with the technical aspects of online teaching and are not able to teach as well as they could have, if lectures were taking place in the institution itself. The students’ attention span is limited, and they can’t focus for hours on the laptop/phone, listening to the teachers.
Also the fun aspect of education i.e. educational field trips, experiments, interaction with friends, canteen and lunch breaks and basically all school memories cannot be experienced with online learning. Hence, this inhibits the holistic and overall development of the child, and limits the creativity and imagination of the students.
The Ugly
Students have to connect with the teachers through electric devices i.e. phones and laptops. However, this poses as a problem in rural areas where many people don’t own any devices as such.
While India enjoys a wide geographic and cultural diversity, it also suffers from a huge socio-economic divide. Only a small part of the Indian population has access to online education right now. Interrupted power supply, weak or non-existent internet connectivity, and unaffordability to buy necessary devices are major concerns.
That is not all. With limitations of livelihood in a family, the first ones to receive a blow are often girls. In a recent survey of 733 students studying in government schools in Bihar, only 28% of the girls had smartphones in their homes, in contrast to 36% of the boys. These smartphones almost always belonged to male adults, often being lesser accessible to girls than boys, and half of these families could not afford internet data packages.
Hence, immediate measures should be taken to ensure that online learning can be accessed by every single student to ensure that the pandemic does not disrupt the education of the youth.
Technologies has developed a lot before an all during olden days after their work they use to sleep but after there was new inventions like light, fan, chair, etc…. Human beings became lazy after that they made shows after that slowly the movie was published before a group of people with all facilities is called as theater. It was a happy time for the people they were enjoying it with their friends and family. Some people gained jobs through this there were some restrictions and all people turned towards the theaters for each and everything. Theaters are the best thing for entertainment because the human beings are working, eating and sleeping. They didn’t spend any time for anything so they were so bored then only the entertainment came into existence. As an entertainment theatre or playhouse, is a structure where theatrical works or plays are performed, or other performances such as musical concerts may be produced. A theatre used for opera performances is called an opera house. The people in the olden days invented many things as days goes by it is very modern and technology are found and used no one is remaining in the same tradition which was before few years. As India is struggling from corona virus there is lockdown and there is no proper permission shooting movies so they are shooting the movie as soon as possible there are many people working under a team they also need money to run their life. Theaters are opened before so there will be a huge amount from that they will give to the persons working in the shooting but now due to corona theaters are not allowed if they allow also there must 50% people can be allowed in the theater. So there was no enough money in that job also people are afraid by this corona there was no 50% too they were less than it. In this time only technology showed like Netflix and through other sites the movies making team sold to these members and not to theaters because of this there was total loss in theaters and the shops in theaters. Due to this corona virus there are many people suffering because their life is in full damage some people need time to bring their life to the state which they lived before corona. Theater owners are very poor because through showing the movie in the screening they were getting more money hereafter there will be less people going to theaters because they have enjoyed the movie by paying less amount in the apps they are and sitting at home happily watching the movies with their family members. Entertainment is more in these apps we can see the latest movies, series, cartoon for kids etc…, not only because of corona already human being this corona made them too lazy. Through these apps and technologies there are many advantages and disadvantages.
Advantages of the Netflix and other apps are:
• Support Downloading movies, television shows and original series.
• All the audio tracks and subtitles will be kept.
• Download up to 1080p HD videos.
• Fast speed and easy to operate.
• It is helpful for family members to sit at home and watch happily.
• It is saving money.
Disadvantages of the Netflix and other apps:
• According to reports, teens, adults, and even children are being impacted by the Netflix effect.
• The teens who are watching television include slipping grades, being late to school.
Fortified milk is cow’s milk that contains extra vitamins and minerals that are not naturally found in milk in significant amounts. Typically, vitamins D and A are added to milk sold in the United States (1Trusted Source). However, milk can be fortified with various other nutrients, including zinc, iron, and folic acid (2Trusted Source). How or if milk is fortified depends on where you live and what nutrients may be lacking in the typical diet of your country. While some countries require fortification of milk by law, this is not the case in the United States (3Trusted Source). Still, fortified milk is much more common than unfortified milk in the United States. In terms of uses, fortified milk is utilized in the same way as unfortified varieties, such as for drinking or cooking. To fortify milk, vitamin A palmitate and vitamin D3 are added. These are the most active and absorbable forms of these nutrients (4Trusted Source, 5Trusted Source). As they’re heat resistant, these compounds can be added to milk before pasteurization and homogenization, which are heat processes that kill harmful bacteria and improve shelf life (2Trusted Source, 6, 7). Other nutrients like B vitamins must be added later, as heat can destroy them. However, milk is not typically fortified with B vitamins in the United States (2Trusted Source).
Microsoft is a multinational computer technology corporation. Microsoft was founded on April 4, 1975, by Bill Gates and Paul Allen in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Its current best-selling products are the Microsoft Windows operating system; Microsoft Office, a suite of productivity software; Xbox, a line of entertainment of games, music, and video; Bing, a line of search engines; and Microsoft Azure, a cloud services platform.Logo since August 17, 2012In 1980, Microsoft formed a partnership with IBM to bundle Microsoft’s operating system with IBM computers; with that deal, IBM paid Microsoft a royalty for every sale. In 1985, IBM requested Microsoft to develop a new operating system for their computers called OS/2. Microsoft produced that operating system, but also continued to sell their own alternative, which proved to be in direct competition with OS/2. Microsoft Windows eventually overshadowed OS/2 in terms of sales. When Microsoft launched several versions of Microsoft Windows in the 1990s, they had captured over 90% market share of the world’s personal computers. As of June 30, 2015, Microsoft has a global annual revenue of US$86.83 Billion and 128,076 employees worldwide. It develops, manufactures, licenses, and supports a wide range of software products for computing devices.
Founding of Microsoft:
In late 1974, Paul Allen, a programmer at Honeywell, was walking through Harvard Square when he saw the cover of the January 1975 issue of Popular Electronics that demonstrated the Altair 8800, the first microcomputer. Allen bought the magazine and rushed to Currier House at Harvard College, where he showed it to high school friend Bill Gates. They saw potential to develop an implementation of BASIC for the system.Gates called Altair manufacturer Micro Instrumentation and Telemetry Systems (MITS), offering to demonstrate the implementation. Allen and Gates had neither an interpreter nor an Altair system, yet in the eight weeks before the demo, they developed an interpreter with the help of Monte Davidoff.
When Allen flew to Albuquerque to meet with MITS, the interpreter worked and MITS agreed to distribute Altair BASIC. Allen moved to Albuquerque, Gates soon quit Harvard to join him, and they co-founded Microsoft there. Revenues of the company totalled $16,005 by the end of 1976.Allen came up with the original name of Micro-Soft, a portmanteau of microcomputer and software.Hyphenated in its early incarnations, on November 26, 1976, the company was registered under that name with the Secretary of State of New Mexico. The company’s first international office was founded on November 1, 1978, in Japan, entitled “ASCII Microsoft” (now called “Microsoft Japan”), and on November 29, 1979, the term, “Microsoft” was first used by Bill Gates. On January 1, 1979, the company moved from Albuquerque to a new home in Bellevue, Washington, since it was hard to recruit top programmers to Albuquerque. Shortly before the move, eleven of the then-thirteen employees posed for the staff photo on the right.
Steve Ballmer joined the company on June 11, 1980, and would later succeed Bill Gates as CEO from January 2000 until February 2014. The company restructured on June 25, 1981, to become an incorporated business in its home state of Washington (with a further change of its name to “Microsoft Corporation, Inc.”). As part of the restructuring, Bill Gates became president of the company and chairman of the board, and Paul Allen became executive vice president In 1983, Allen left the company after receiving a Hodgkin lymphoma diagnosis, though he remained on the board as vice-chairman.Microsoft’s early products were different variants of Microsoft BASIC which was the dominant programming language in late 1970s and early 1980s home computers such as Apple II (Applesoft BASIC) and Commodore 64 (Commodore BASIC), and were also provided with early versions of the IBM PC as the IBM Cassette BASIC.Microsoft also marketed through an Apple dealer in West Palm Beach, Florida two products for the Radio-Shack TRS-80.
One was “Typing Tutor” which led the user through learning to use a keyboard. The other was authored by a professor at the University of Hawaii called “MuMATH” and had the ability to do mathematics in long integer math to avoid floating point numbers. The first hardware product was the Z-80 SoftCard which enabled the Apple II to run the CP/M operating system, at the time an industry-standard operating system for running business software and many compilers and interpreters for several high-level languages on microcomputers. The SoftCard was first demonstrated publicly at the West Coast Computer Faire in March 1980. It was an immediate success; 5,000 cards, a large number given the microcomputer market at the time, were purchased in the initial three months at $349 each and it was Microsoft’s number one revenue source in 1980.The first operating system publicly released by the company was a variant of Unix announced on August 25, 1980.
Acquired from AT&T through a distribution license, Microsoft dubbed it Xenix, and hired Santa Cruz Operation in order to port/adapt the operating system to several platforms. This Unix variant would become home to the first version of Microsoft’s word processor, Microsoft Word. Originally titled “Multi-Tool Word”, Microsoft Word became notable for its use of “What You See Is What You Get”, or WYSIWYG pioneered by the Xerox Alto and the Bravo text editor in the 1970s.[22][23]Word was first released in the spring of 1983, and free demonstration copies of the application were bundled with the November 1983 issue of PC World, making it one of the first programs to be distributed on-disk with a magazine. (Earlier magazine on-disk distributions included Robert Uiterwyk’s BASIC in the May 1977 issue of Information Age.)However, Xenix was never sold to end users directly although it was licensed to many software OEMs for resale. It grew to become the most popular version of Unix, measured by the number of machines running it[26] (note that Unix is a multi-user operating system, allowing simultaneous access to a machine by several users). By the mid-1980s Microsoft had gotten out of the Unix business, except for its ownership stake in SCO.[20]IBM first approached Microsoft about its upcoming IBM Personal Computer (IBM PC) in July 1980.On August 12, 1981, after negotiations with Digital Research failed, IBM awarded a contract to Microsoft to provide a version of the CP/M operating system, which was set to be used in the IBM PC. For this deal, Microsoft purchased a CP/M clone called 86-DOS from Tim Paterson of Seattle Computer Products for less than US$100,000, which IBM renamed to IBM PC DOS. The original CP/M was made by Gary Kildall of Digital Research, Inc. Due to potential copyright infringement problems with CP/M, IBM marketed both CP/M and PC DOS for US$240 and US$40, respectively, with PC DOS eventually becoming the standard because of its lower price. Thirty-five of the company’s 100 employees worked on the IBM project for more than a year. When the IBM PC debuted, Microsoft was the only company that offered operating system, programming language, and application software for the new computer. The IBM PC DOS is also known as MS-DOS.InfoWorld stated in 1984 that Microsoft, with $55 million in 1983 sales,is widely recognized as the most influential company in the microcomputer-software industry. Claiming more than a million installed MS-DOS machines, founder and chairman Bill Gates has decided to certify Microsoft’s jump on the rest of the industry by dominating applications, operating systems, peripherals and, most recently, book publishing. Some insiders say Microsoft is attempting to be the IBM of the software industry. In 1983, in collaboration with numerous companies, Microsoft created a home computer system, MSX, which contained its own version of the DOS operating system, called MSX-DOS; this became relatively popular in Japan, Europe and South Ame Later, the market saw a flood of IBM PC clones after Columbia Data Products successfully cloned the IBM BIOS, quickly followed by Eagle Computer and The deal with IBM allowed Microsoft to have control of its own QDOS derivative, MS-DOS, and through aggressive marketing of the operating system to manufacturers of IBM-PC clones Microsoft rose from a small player to one of the major software vendors in the home computer industry. With the release of the Microsoft Mouse on May 2, 1983, Microsoft continued to expand its product line in other markets. This expansion included Microsoft Press, a book publishing division, on July 11 the same year, which debuted with two titles: Exploring the IBM PCjr Home Computer by Peter Norton, and The Apple Macintosh Book by Cary Lu.
“There is more treasure in books than in all the pirate’s loot on Treasure Island.”- Walt Disney
How does one increase his/her attention span, knowledge, and emotion quotient at the same time? Well, the answer is only a single word – Reading. The fact that reading is such an essential habit to develop cannot be stressed enough, it is not just a habit it’s an exercise of the mind. Just as our body requires exercise to function well our brain also requires exercise to develop better and reading does just that.
Understanding the written words is one way by which our mind gro
ws in its ability. Reading exposes us to new information, new things, new places, and new people too. Reading books provides the luxury of traveling to different places from the comfort of our homes. By reading books, we get to travel places that we won’t be able to see in real life and we get to meet people we won’t be able to meet in real life.
Reading is good for everyone, not only kids but also adults.
Why is reading so important?
Reading takes us to a whole different world of imagination. When we read with a focus in silence, our brain becomes clearer and we are able to connect. This helps us to link things to one and another, structure things, and plan solutions. It helps to increase our attention span and fills us up with great amounts of knowledge. Reading broadens our horizons and helps us improve our communication skills by expanding vocabulary.
Reading is also well known to reduce stress and anxiety. Through reading, we are exposed to think in a new way and explore different angles to view something we have known for a long.
Advantages of Reading
Some of the major benefits that one can derive from reading are
Better vocabulary
When we read, we come across so many new words, so many new phrases which we have never heard of. With children, it not only helps with vocabulary but also with learning how to pronounce these words correctly from the start.
Critical thinking
Developing critical thinking is one of the primary benefits of reading books. For example, if one is reading a piece of fiction say a mystery novel or a thriller novel it forces the reader to think and find their way to the climax. Or if the one reads a book that is non-fiction it makes the reader think whether the author is right or wrong or whether their opinion matches with that of the author.
Improves writing skills
Just as we are influenced by the artists and the influencers who we see on Instagram nowadays; similarly, we are influenced by a well-written book. When we read well-written books, it affects our ability to write better as we observe different styles of writing.
Effective communication skills
Reading plays a vital role in improving communication skills by perfecting our oratory skills. It helps us learn new words and perspectives. It helps us strengthen language and sharpens sentence structure. It provides a better command over the language.
Increases focus and concentration
Today when we all are surrounded by the internet and all our attention is diverted to social media and streaming services like Netflix, our ability to concentrate and focus is compromised one way or the other. When we read, we devote all our attention to the story and we tend to absorb details and the rest of the world just moves away. Reading can be a good break from continuous use of smartphones and interaction with the world through social media.
Reduces stress and Anxiety
Stress and anxiety are known to disturb our mental health. In current times when people are stressed or anxious about not one but multiple things like lifestyle, work, health, peer, etc., books of different genres like romance, science fiction, autobiographies, etc helps as a stress buster and helps us be calm and relaxed. By reading people get the time to take their minds off of work-related tensions.
Conclusion
Reading should be made a non-negotiable habit in one’s life. The benefits of reading are remarkable. Books are our best companions, they just give, give and give. It’s up to us how much knowledge we want to gather.
“You know what’s really exciting about video games is you don’t just interact with the game physically—you’re not just moving your hand on a joystick, but you’re asked to interact with the game psychologically and emotionally as well. You’re not just watching the characters on screen; you’re becoming those characters.” – Nina Huntemann, Game Over
When most people think of video games they see little use for them besides being a source of entertainment or as a waste of time.
But most young kids see video games as a social activity, rather than an isolating one, and they believe video games are a great way to spend time with their peers or even make new friends.
Although it is true that there are negative effects associated with playing video games, with proper guidance there is so much that can be gained from the positive effects of playing video games.
Some psychologists suggest that video games can actually have many benefits, especially bearing in mind that the nature of these games has changed dramatically and now they are more complex and realistic .
So, in order to understand the impact video games have on children’s development, we need to look at both the positive and the negative effects of these games.
Some pros are- problem solving and logic , Hand-eye coordination, fine motor and spatial skills, Planning, resource management and logistics, Multitasking, simultaneous tracking of many shifting variables and managing multiple objectives, Strategy and anticipationand memory..
Some negative effects are- Aggression in Children, Gaming Addiction and Poor academic performance..
So as we can see gaming can be both good and bad ..all it really depends on is how children use it and the guidance they get.
Accepting that all models are wrong in certain instances is not a license to ignore the facts. As a society, we should search for better answers, look for evidence, and strive to increase the accuracy of our knowledge.
At the same time, there is a common peril on the other end of the spectrum. Too many people waste time debating if something is perfectly correct, when they should be focusing on if it is practically useful.
We live in a world filled with uncertainty, but we still need to get things done and make decisions. It is our responsibility to develop a way of thinking about the world that generally fits the facts we have, but to not get so gummed up thinking about things that we never actually do anything. As Harvard professor Daniel Gilbert puts it, “The world doesn’t have the luxury of waiting for complete answers before it takes action.”
Impartial answers are the best we have. Focus on what is practical and take action. All models are wrong under some circumstances, but the important thing is if they are generally useful.
HELLO! Readers here is a new essay about cryptocurrency:
Still now many are unaware of CRYPTOCURRENCY , crypto-currency, or in a short way, crypto referred to as a digital currency in which transactions are verified and records maintained by a decentralized, which means (controlled by several local offices or authorities rather than one single one) system using cryptography, which means (the art of writing or solving codes) rather than by a centralized authority.
Many cryptocurrencies are decentralized network based on blockchain techonology-a distributed ledger enforced by a despirate network of a computers. This decentralized structure allows them to exist outside the control of government and central authorities.
WHY CRYPTOCURRENCY?
Cryptocurrencies hold the promise of making it easier to transfer funds directly between two parties, without the need for a trusted third party like a bank or credit card company.
POINTS TO KNOW ABOUT CRYPTOCURRENCY:
The word “cryptocurrency” is derived from the encryption techniqunes which are used to secure the network.
still of now no one knows who created Bitcoin.
Bitcoin has been valued at less than a penny.
There are over 5,000 different currencied.
CHINA is the biggest cryptocurrency miner.
They are taxable.
Cryptocurrency can’t be physically banned.
The total amount of bitcoins is limited like gold or oil.
ADVANTAGE OF CRYPTOCURRENCY:
Modern cryptocurrency systems come with a user “wallet” or account address which is accessible only by a public key and pirate key. The private key is only know to the owner of the wallet.
Funds transfer between two parties will be easy without the need of third party like credit/debit cards or banks.
Payments are safe and secured and offer an unprecedented level of anonymity.
It is a cheaper alternative compared to other online transactions.
Funds transfer are completed with minimal processing fees.
DISADVANTAGE OF CRYPTOCURRENCY:
There is concern that cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are not rooted in any material goods. Some research, however, has identified that the cost of producing a Bitcoin, which requires an increasingly large amount of energy, is directly related to its market price.
Payments are not irreversible.
The almost hidden nature of cryptocurrency transactions makes them easy to be the focus of illegal activities such as money laundering, tax-evasion and possibly even terror-financing.
Cryptocurrencies are not accepted everywhere and have limited value elsewhere.
CRYPTOCURRENCY IN DAILY LIFE:
Authentication/Digital Signatures.
Time Stamping.
Electronic Money.
Secure Network Communications.
Disk Encryption.
BITCOIN:
Bitcoin is a DIGITAL CURRENCY that was created in January 2009. It follows the ideas set out in a whitepaper by the mysterious and pseudonymous Satoshi Nakamoto. The identity of the person or persons who created the technology is still a mystery. Bitcoin offers the promise of lower transaction fees than traditional online payment mechanisms and, unlike government-issued currencies, it is operated by a decentralized authority.
Bitcoin is a type of cryptocurrency. There are no physical bitcoins, only balances kept on a public ledger that everyone has transparent access to. All bitcoin transactions are verified by a massive amount of computing power. Bitcoins are not issued or backed by any banks or governments, nor are individual bitcoins valuable as a commodity. Bitcoin is commonly abbreviated as “BTC.”
CONCLUSION:
In addition to battling the current economic system, cryptocurrencies have some internal challenges to overcome. Attempting to convert the entire world financial system to the BitCoin model, for example, could cause such a massive growth in blockchain size that the distributed ledger model would become impractical. On the whole, we came to know some infromative contents about cryptocurrency and its pros and cons.Hope you people make use of it affordably.
You are 2x to 3x more likely to follow through with a habit if you make a specific plan for when, where, and how you are going to implement it. This is known as an implementation intention.
You should focus entirely on one thing. Research has found that implementation intentions do not work if you try to improve multiple habits at the same time.
Research has shown that any given habit becomes more automatic with more practice. On average, it takes at least two months for new habits to become automatic behaviors.
This brings us to the punchline of this article…
The counterintuitive insight from all of this research is that the best way to change your entire life is by not changing your entire life. Instead, it is best to focus on one specific habit, work on it until you master it, and make it an automatic part of your daily life. Then, repeat the process for the next habit.
The way to master more things in the long-run is to simply focus on one thing right now.
Healthy food items keep the body healthy and strong to fight diseases. A human body works properly when all parts of the body like kidney, lungs, heart, and liver function properly. So, one can use tea as a substitute for coffee. For the best results, drink them without adding sugar.
” EVERY HUMAN BEING IS THE AUTHOR OF HIS OWN HEALTH OR DISEASE”
The creative process used by Frederic Eugene Ives offers a perfect example of these five steps in action.
First, Ives gathered new material. He spent two years working as a printer’s apprentice and then four years running the photographic laboratory at Cornell University. These experiences gave him a lot of material to draw upon and make associations between photography and printing.
Second, Ives began to mentally work over everything he learned. By 1878, Ives was spending nearly all of his time experimenting with new techniques. He was constantly tinkering and experimenting with different ways of putting ideas together.
Third, Ives stepped away from the problem. In this case, he went to sleep for a few hours before his flash of insight. Letting creative challenges sit for longer periods of time can work as well. Regardless of how long you step away, you need to do something that interests you and takes your mind off of the problem.
Fourth, his idea returned to him. Ives awoke with the solution to his problem laid out before him. (On a personal note, I often find creative ideas hit me just as I am lying down for sleep. Once I give my brain permission to stop working for the day, the solution appears easily.)
Finally, Ives continued to revise his idea for years. In fact, he improved so many aspects of the process he filed a second patent. This is a critical point and is often overlooked. It can be easy to fall in love with the initial version of your idea, but great ideas always evolve.
cancer is wide-spread and it is the most common deadly disease. The increasing cases of cancer in the whole country is an alarming situation. On an individual basis, everyone has to adopt effective eating habits and should add different food items to the daily routine that helps in preventing cancer. It is also true that no food can kill cancer completely, the use of specific foods in daily habits can only prevent the risk of cancer in the human body. In short, cancer-fighting foods decrease the risk of developing cancer.

PREVENTION IS A VERY IMPORTANT PART OF SOLVING THE PROBLEM OF CANCER
The Indian economy is a developing economy, thus, the educated as well as educating population is the future of the nation. However, the future of the nation stays in blue when the citizens are not provided with the facility to educate themselves. The different nations are building themselves under the supervision and employment of the educated and skilled workforce. Whereas, India is facing a serious problem of illiteracy amongst its citizens. The large population of the country doesn’t posses enough knowledge about certain subjects, at times, people are just enjoying incomplete knowledge on something in particular. A report by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) highlights that India has highest population of illiterate adults, i.e., 287 million. It shows that the number is huge and around 37% of the world’s illiterate people are India. The literacy rate in India is calculated with regards to the people aged between 15-24 years. The literacy level of any nation is a determinant of its socio-economic status, and the level of literacy in India has been increasing at a very slow pace. The 2011 census depicts that the literacy growth in the decade 2001-2011 has been as low as 9.2%. Thus, the problem of illiteracy continues to prevail in the country at a very large level.
Illiteracy is basically defined as the inability to read or write, that means the individual has lack of knowledge in a particular subject. It is a wider concept and includes the individual ability to adapt to the subject and visualizes the content matter. However, the extent of illiteracy in India is different, the people residing in the villages or rural areas have remained familiar to there native language and are ignorant towards the other languages or subjects. These people are mostly the adults, including women who are now unwilling to learn something new due to lack of time or other priority work to do. The women community is largely affected by the illiteracy around the nations, as the aggregate percentage of girls enrolling in schools is just 47.78%. Overall, 60 lakhs children in India are still not able to prevail the facilities of education. The state of Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh are at the bottom in the terms of Dalit Literacy level.
Literacy is not just the ability to read or write, but also includes the individual’s capacity to comprehend a piece of information and further communicate it with others effectively. Literacy is a significant element to enhance the individual social and personal standards, as it is the tool to help them to represent themselves among the people and share a common surrounding with the people around us. It severs as the foundation of the basic education for all the individuals in the nation. Thus, provision of basic education to all the citizens of the nation becomes a necessity. The Constitution of India recognizes this need and had laid down certain provisions and laws to ensure proper and impartial availability of educational rights to all the citizens.
The Article 30 of the Indian Constitution gives right to the minorities to establish their own educational as well as administrative institutions. Also, they have been given the fundamental right to protect their culture and teachings.
The Directive Principles of State policy also instructs the state to ensure free education to all the citizens under the sections 41, 45 and 46.
Article 21 (A) was also amended to include the provision of free and compulsory education to all the children between the age group of 6-14 years, as a fundamental right.
The weaker section of the nation; comprising socially, economically, and educationally backward sections belonging to the Scheduled castes and scheduled tribes are also provided educational rights through the Article 15, 17 and 46 of the Indian Constitution.
Along with these constitutional or legal provisions, there are other schemes and programs that are initiated with the aim and objective to promoting educational awareness among all the citizens in the nation.
The Mid-day meal scheme has been launched by the government in 1995 with the aim to improve the enrolment and attendance rate of the students. The poor people will be willing to enroll their children to the government schools which provide free food to the students.
There are regular updates on the scholarship programs for the students in order to provide fee concession as well as other necessary items. Also, the aim is that a potential and deserving student should not be deprived of the education due to lack of resources.
Samagra Shiksha Programme was launched by the government with the broader goal of improving school effectiveness. This will be measured in terms of equal opportunities for schooling and equitable learning outcomes.
Awareness campaigns were launched in rural areas to create awareness among people about the importance of education. They were encouraged to attend or send their children to schools.
It can be observed that continuously efforts have been made by the government to improve the condition of the educational sector and promote the level of literacy in the country. However, the efforts cannot bear results without the support and coordination of the citizens of the country. At the individual level, the people are responsible to make efforts to educate themselves, their children and other encourage other acquaintances as well. The individuals must indulge themselves in some or other awareness campaign to learn and share the knowledge with their peers. They should expose themselves the different kinds of reading material and adopt good reading habits. There is a need to explore more and know your interests to involve in the same kind of areas. Thus, it can be concluded that the problem of illiteracy is huge but requires coordination between the authorities and the citizens to improve the level of literacy of the nation.

📌worldwide phenomenon eating the younger generation minds and disturbing the minds. 📌if once the contact is established , the addiction becomes steady and disconnection seems impossible. 📌The main reason behind the addiction comes and ends upto frustration. 📌drug addiction comes from the parental neglect , frustration , anxiety , etc. 📌there is main need of government to look on this issues.
After almost two years of declaring the Model Tenancy Act, the Union Cabinet has finally approved it. The government released the Model Tenancy draft in 2019. This act intents to bridge the trust gap between the tenants and the landlords. It will improve the rental housing and reduce the lawsuits. The main aim is to create more lucrative environment for renting, tenants as well as landlords and also to increase the housing supply for tenants in market. There are many empty houses and at the same time there is lack of houses from the tenant’s point of view. So, this act aims to ease this all out and bridge the gap.
Union Minister of Housing and Union Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri said Model Tenancy Act would provide model for urban and rural properties and template both for commercial and residential properties. Adding to that he said that 1.1 crore vacant houses will be available on rent and it will compliment the PM’s vision of “Housing for All” in 2022. “The Model Tenancy Act will facilitate the unlocking of vacant houses for rental housing purposes,” the statement said. “It is expected to give a fillip to private participation in rental housing as a business model for addressing the huge housing shortage.”
The law bars renting without the permission of the landlord, fixing limits for security deposits, includes relief during unexpected disasters, and providing for a faster dispute resolution by creating a rent authority, a rent court, and a rent tribunal, according to a government statement. Such cases won’t come under the authority of civil courts.
Most of the provisions are coherent with the draft released earlier for approval.
Key Features:
It puts the rights and obligations of the tenants and landlords.
There will be transparency in the renting process
It aims to spur its overall growth
Aims at creating a sustainable and inclusive rental housing market
To create adequate rental housing stock for all income groups
To address the issue of homelessness
To institutionalize rental housing by shifting it towards formal market.
To set up rent courts and tribunals
Puts a cap on the amount of security deposit. The tenants should pay maximum of 2 months of rent as a security deposit in the residential premises whereas for non-residential premises tenants must pay maximum of six months of rent.
Rights for Landlords:
Can enter property let out on rent after serving at least 24 – hour legal notice.
If tenants do not vacate the house, they have to pay double the rent for first two months till the agreement period is over and it will become 4 times after the agreement period is over.
Tenants are not allowed to sublet without prior permission from the landlord.
Rights for tenants:
Landlords cannot ask for more than 2 months of security deposit and the deposit should be returned while vacating the property if the property is in the same condition as it was given to the tenant.
Landlord cannot cut power and water supply in case of dispute.
Regulates increase of rentals.
Structural Maintenance of property is in hands of landlord.
A good level of nutrition is important to consistently keep our body healthy and reduce the risk of chronic diseases. Combined with good physical activity and right amount of nutrients, it gives rise to a strong immune system, a healthy weight and lifestyle.
“Malnutrition is a condition that develops due inadequate consumption of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that are necessary to maintain a proper functioning of the organs”. Though this condition is present worldwide, it is mainly noticed in developing countries which have high poverty rate, low financial aid and poor sanitation facilities. Malnutrition and undernutrition are two words that are often used interchangeably but they are not actually synonyms. Undernutrition is in fact a part of malnutrition. Undernutrition is often due to lack of availability of nutrient-rich food and overweight and obesity which is mainly due to large consumption of processed foods leads overnutrition condition. Malnutrition however consists of both undernutrition and overnutrition. There are around 1.9 billion adults worldwide who are overweight, while 462 million are underweight. As per the Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO) almost 14.5% of the Indian population is malnourished. Deficiency of every nutrient creates specific health issues. Malnutrition can lead to:
Short term and long term diseases
Injury or damage recoveries at a slow rate
Difficulty in focussing
Higher risk to infections
Muscular weakness
Fatigue
Weak immune system
WHAT CAUSES MALNUTRITION?
There can be many reasons depending upon the type of malnutrition
Low consumption of food- Some people are malnourished due to the low intake of food which might be related to their economic position which implies lower nutrients absorbed by the body.
Mental health-Malnutrition can occur with people having issues related to mental health such as depression, schizophrenia and amnesia etc.
Consumption of alcohol- Heavy consumption of alcohol can lead to gastritis which makes it difficult to absorb nutrients and digest food. Thus intake of unhealthy foods can lead a person malnourished.
Low income- Not all families are financially well off to supply their members with a whole meal rich in nutrients nor afford to buy fruits, vegetables, meat and milk etc. Poverty is also another reason for malnourishment as they might not get food every time.
Diseases- Chronic ailments are also a cause for malnutrition.
Food habits- Food habits play a major role in healthy lifestyle of an individual. Consumption of processed food spoils health as it is not freshly cooked.
SYMPTOMS OF MALNUTRITION
Depression
Lack of appetite
Loss of fat
Difficulty to focus/concentrate
Longer healing time for injuries
Loss of fat or muscle mass
Constant sickness/ illness
Tender bones
Skin which is pale and dry
Anemia
Brittle nails
Joint ache
Bleeding gums
Sparse hair
Either skinny or bloated
Gastrointestinal problems
Malnutrition can be prevented if a person eats a balanced diet, engages in physical workout regularly, avoids processed and preserved foods and consume food low in carbs and fat. Malnutrition can make an enormous impact in the economy of a country especially when it is developing, the impacts are of course negative. It will seriously affect the productivity and mortality rates of a nation thereby generating inefficient human resource capital in the future.
“Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”
The concept of sustainable development can be interpreted in many different ways, but at its core is an approach to development that looks to balance different, and often competing, needs against an awareness of the environmental, social and economic limitations we face as a society.
Sustainability is a broad discipline, giving students and graduates insights into most aspects of the human world from business to technology to environment and the social sciences. The core skills with which a graduates leaves college or university are highly sought after, especially in a modern world looking to drastically reduce carbon emissions and discover and develop the technologies of the future. Sustainability draws on politics, economics and, philosophy and other social sciences as well as the hard sciences.Regarding water management, sustainable development has generated attention on four principles. First, fresh water should be regarded as a finite and vulnerable resource.
In the debate over water management approaches, some view sustainable development as a vague and ambiguous concept, leading people to define it to suit their own interests either economic development or environmental protection. Some suggest that its emphasis on achieving balance between economic development and environmental protection overlooks the importance of ensuring sensitivity to the social and cultural attributes of societies.
The three core elements of sustainable developments are:
Environmental Conservation
Its primary focus is the protection of the environment so that we do not destroy the resources provided by it. It further minimizes the adverse effects on the surroundings.
Social Development
It strives to achieve the well being of individuals and society at large. It necessitates the availability of necessary resources, proper healthcare, and good quality of life for people.
Economic Progress
It is the most neglected part of sustainability. It drives people to invest in sustainable efforts by enticing them through its long term benefits and supports both the environmental and social elements of the cause.
Basic highlighted advantages of sustainable development :-
Development Activities will be long lasting.
Long term management between means and resources for future generations.
Appropriate Distribution of means and resources.
Natural Resources are utilized wisely at optimum level.
A wide and High rate of economic growth is achieved.. Etc.
Goal of sustainable development
The most important goal is to align our economic system with the realization that we do indeed have the power to alter the planet in destructive ways, and that we have, in fact, already begun doing so. Our system today was not designed to work this way. Today’s system discourages investing in the future by discounting tomorrow’s dollars as worth less than today’s.
Our balance sheets don’t measure all the things that matter including environmental and social impacts of business decisions. Any efforts to plan or invest in a responsible future must vie for attention against the overwhelming interest of the overlord investment community in quarterly earnings. These systemic forces are too big for even the biggest companies to challenge in any meaningful ways.
We must come together to ask, what do we want our world’s future to look like? If we’re to have a just and peaceful world, that answer cannot simply be left in the hands of the few billionaires that now control most of the money. All voices must be represented. Whatever collection of authorities is to take the helm of Spaceship Earth, it must be steered with the recognition that resources are not unlimited nor are places to dump our waste. There are geophysical boundaries that we dare not exceed without putting ourselves at peril, climate change being only the most immediate one.
So the goal must be for businesses, communities, citizens, political leaders, to all come together, at the widest, most inclusive scale, to consolidate our highest aspirations and to redesign the system in ways that will eliminate barriers and promote the achievement of a future where the health and well-being of our planet and everything living on it is the prime concern.
Critique of sustainable development
As Mr. Dave Brunfeldt, laid and argument on the pro environmentalist and global warming activist from the west as well as in left democracies saying that the fundamental element in sustainability that is flawed is that there is a thing called stasis. Freedom is a powerful word. It is the basic right of every individual and no one can deny it. But are you using your freedom in a proper way? Have you thought that your sense of freedom might deprive that of others? A G Gardiner’s ‘On the Rule of the Road’ is an essay teaching the readers on the right way of enjoying freedom.
The essayist narrates a situation where an old lady walks down the middle of a street ignoring the traffic rules and other vehicles. This causes a great confusion and she doesn’t seem to care about it. It is a dangerous situation where accidents can happen and people can get hurt. But when it was pointed that she should walk in the pavement not on the road, she replies that it is her liberty to walk wherever she wants. Just like this woman, there are many who seem to take advantage of their ‘liberty’. What we need to realize is if everyone does whatever they want in whatever way they like because it is their liberty, “then the end of such liberty would be universal chaos”.
“Everybody would be getting in everybody else’s way and nobody would get anywhere. Individual liberty would have become social anarchy. There is a sanger of the world getting liberty-drunk…”
So, the traffic rules are made to ensure that everyone can enjoy their liberty. When the policeman at the intersection directs the traffic, he “is the symbol not of tyranny, but of liberty”. If you can’t understand the statement, think of this situation as the essayist provides. You may be in an urgency to reach your destination, but when the policeman stops you, you may think he is curbing your liberty. But, if you reflect on it, you will understand that if he doesn’t stop you, he won’t stop anyone and everyone will clash into each other.
“You have submitted to a curtailment of private liberty in order that you may enjoy a social order which makes your liberty a reality”.
“Liberty is not a personal affair only, but a social contract”. Does the statement mean your freedom is limited by society? No, you are free to do whatever you like unless it doesn’t affect that of others. You have both personal liberty and social liberty. You may dress however you want, dye your hair, eat whatever you wish, like and dislike at your will because it is your liberty. No one can question your personal liberty. Likewise, the other person has the liberty to differ from you. You have your own kingdom where you can do whatever you wish. But, once you step out of the kingdom, your “personal liberty of action becomes qualified by other people’s liberty”.
You may want to practice music in the middle of the night, you may do so if you are on the top of Mt. Everest. If you do so in your house, you are disturbing the sleep of your family members. If you do so in the streets, you are disturbing your neighbours and they will object to this. Their objection will remind you that your liberty of practicing music is interfering with their liberty to sleep peacefully and so it shouldn’t be done.
“There are a lot of people in the world, and I have to accommodate my liberty to their liberties”.
We often forget this and find fault with others. We should be considerate to the rights and feelings of others because it is the “foundation of social conduct”. We should stop focusing only on our liberties and start considering that of others and the responsibilities that come along with them. We need law to limit some of our liberty in order to ensure greater liberty.
“Liberty is not a personal affair only, but a social contract”
Healthcare is the most basic need of our lives.healthcare system is one of the basic pillar of every developing nation. As we can see now, Covid-19 situation is the worst situation ever. Many people had faced issues due to less numbers of doctors, shortage of beds and oxygen cylinders. But in this situation , we all depended only on the health care system. We all witnesses healthcarebeing more effective to fight against this situation than it has ever been.
Critical advancement in modern technology will play an integral role in progressing future of healthcare. According to the research technology developments such as mobile, internet of things, artificial intelligence and big data will be wonderful opportunity for overcoming healthcare. Technology made healthcare system more powerful as it increased accessibility of treatment, increased level of efficiency in data collection of patients, it become easy for frontline workers to record important patient’s data and then share it as it is.
We can say that future of healthcare heavily depends on the robotics & digital technologies.after few years all the medical work’s will be automated by this new technologies. Doctors & nurse will be treat or check their patients remotely whenever & wherever they want. We must not forget, that world’s first successful tele-surgery occured more than 15 years ago by a Surgeon in Newyork. Remotely guided 3 armed surgical robot operating 3,870 miles away in strasbourg,France. Quality healthcare will become more accessible or cheaper, more efficient & more convenient. As we know artificial intelligence have already made the work much more easy in every field. So it will help patients also to taking measurements & performing diagnostics. Another future of healthcare, is nano-technologies, It has already being devloped but I believe in few years nano-medicines , nano-treatments etc will also available.
Not only will technology help cure illness but, innovations will also motivate the people living with illness. High quality healthcare helps people to defeat diseases & improve quality of life. I believe in 10 to 15 years although probably, even sooner there will be 100% treatment for cancer & diabetes. This diseases could join polio as defeated diseases. We expect there will be amazing instruments to see the complexity inside the human bodies that we can’t imagine now.
People interact with healthcare system only when they have any disease or had any injury but in future healthcare system will focus on well-being & preventions rather than treatments.
Many people think that the concept of self-love is overdrawn and they ignore it. A lot of studies have shown that self-love is the key to mental wellbeing
Modern society is shaped in such a way that we are sort of bound to constantly compete against each other or even ourselves.Love is the only thing that keeps us going and makes us less robotic in a world. Everyone needs love and we spend most of our energy on loving others — be it friends, spouses, children or family. We cannot always expect to rely only on external sources for love and that is where the concept of self-love comes in. A person who practices self-love will never need to depend on others to be happy and it is an empowering feeling to be happy on the inside.
Self-love is not being selfish, it is just putting yourself first and not being too tough on yourself. So next time you hear that little voice in your head telling you that you are not good enough or that you cannot afford to make mistakes , just ignore it.When our loved ones make a mistake we often forgive them easily, but when we make a mistake we are often too hard on ourselves.
The first step of self-love is realising that we are only human and it is okay to make mistakes; it is okay to lose at times; it is okay to not have the best day.All we need to do is love ourselves and let the negative things pass through.Bad times will pass.
Self-love has many benefits. The first benefit is greater life satisfaction. When we love ourselves more we instantly change our perspective of the world. Self-love can give us a more positive attitude towards life. The second benefit of self-love is that it can encourage us to pick up good habits. Self-love means loving your body, soul, and mind. Therefore, people who love themselves often refrain from doing things that will have an impact. It helps us to develop good habits.
If you start loving your body and mind more than others you will be the most happiest person in the world.
Most important benefit of self-love is better mental health. People who love themselves are less likely to suffer from anxiety or depression; self-love takes us in the way where there is a positive mindset which is an essential ingredient for success in life and for mental wellbeing.Learning to love yourself also reduces stress and makes you more focused at work.Put yourself a little higher on your priority list; think highly of yourself as the world takes you at your own estimate.Consider yourself important too, love yourself as much as you love your friends and family. When your depressed or sad don’t be angry on yourself because you may like that same thing when you see that in a positive side.Happiness and self-love are interconnected; and we all deserve to be happy. Self-love is the key to happiness and a person who is happy is in a far better position to achieve success in every aspect of life.

In today’s era, everyone is occupied in their own life, we all are overlooking the most significant thing i.e. our mental well-being. It is a principal concern globally. Several people don’t want to discuss this matter as they viewed it as a disgrace, several people relate this issue with craziness, being a person who is crazy and who can’t use his/her mind capacity naturally thinks as a victim of mental diseases, but it’s not true this topic is far wider and contains a lot of things do you know what mental health includes, it includes social, psychological, emotional, every field of life. It forms and constructs our way of thinking and living life. According to WHO near around 7.5 percent of people of the whole world suffer from some kind of mental health issues like traumas, disorders, etc. From this large number of people, most of them don’t take any corrective actions even they even share their problems with anyone. It is deemed taboo in society. These issues related to mental health doesn’t recognize by someone easily, it appears to light when a person started getting self-destructive thoughts. Meanwhile, they commit something wrong with them, it is not a minor issue; it grows from years to years little by little, if no action is taken by a person seriously. You can’t consider it as only a temporary issue, it can leads to permanent damage too. The way we talk about other diseases with someone, we can’t talk about this. Most teenagers don’t get enough courage to share their internal thoughts and feelings with someone to save them from being judged. Moreover, it doesn’t come only in a specific age group, a child, an adult and even a meddle age person come to suffer from this. Our lives become so hectic we always remain busy with one or more things, a correct reason to suffer from a health issue is still unknown, as a reason can be genetics or it can arise from a specific age, from hormonal changes, from some specific event happened in someone’s life or it can arise from different trauma situation of a person’s life. So there are numerous reasons. But there are a lot of warning signs from which we can recognize that someone has these issues or not, like a person is sleeping or eating irregularly whether in shortage or excess, if someone is indulging in bad habits like smoking, drinking excessively. Feeling helpless, hapless, confused, angry, upset, numb, experiencing serve mood swings. Inability to perform a daily task and thinking of harming himself, etc. So, one need to take some crucial steps towards spreading awareness about mental health worldwide. It a common issue so there is no need to worry and patients recover from it very easily permanently. But just there is a need to take some steps and it need support from society from government, from everyone. There are different ways to cope up with this issue, like talking with friends and family about it, taking some professional help if need it, stay positive, connecting with others.
In today’s day and age, one will hardly be able to find a person without a smartphone or a laptop! What is interesting is that in a regular household with say four people would mean four different smartphones, one or maybe two laptops. But what happens when these smartphones and laptops are replaced with a new ones? In the case of smartphones, it has been observed that on average, most people replace their smartphones every two years. So, what happens to old ones? What happens to their chargers and other electronics which came with them? This was only about a single household, now imagine several households and many industries which operate solely on electronics. Where all this waste goes? How are these disposed of?
The growth of IT and communication sectors and the global market of electronics and electrical equipment go hand in hand. Over the recent past, the IT and communication sector has increased the usage of electronics exponentially. We see new electronic products being launched daily. This fast up-gradation of electronic products forces consumers to discard the old electronics rapidly which in turn, adds to more and more e-waste. This growing problem of rapid generation of e-waste is a serious concern and a threat to our environment which needs proper management and disposal strategies.
What is e-waste exactly?
e-waste can be defined as any electronic appliance such as a refrigerator, computer, mobile phone, laptop, television, camera, etc., or even parts of such appliances like cables, wires, batteries, electronic chips, drives, etc which are not in use anymore.
This can be divided into three main categories which are:
(i) Large household appliances
Refrigerators, washing machines, etc.
(ii) IT and Telecommunications
Personal computers, laptops, etc.
(iii) Consumer equipment
TVs, mobile phones, mp3 players, etc.
e-waste challenges in India
This increase in the volume of e-waste is problematic. India ranks 177 amongst the bottom five countries on the Environmental Performance Index 2018, as per a report released at World Economic Forum 2018.
Studies show that India generates more than two million tonnes of e-waste annually. One of the reasons for this huge number is the lack of proper e-waste management and disposal system. Because of the dumping that takes place in open dumping sites the groundwater is contaminated which leads to health issues as the toxic contaminants reach the human body and animals through the contaminated groundwater. The health hazards ranging from liver and kidney damage to various types of neurological disorders. The waste disposed of in landfills reaches agricultural fields which in turn affects humans and animals.
The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) and KPMG study, Electronic Waste Management in India identified that computer equipment accounts for almost 70 percent of e-waste followed by telecommunication equipment phones (12 percent), electrical equipment (8 percent), and medical equipment (7 percent) with remaining from household e-waste.
What can be done?
It has been observed that almost all e-waste consists of some recyclable material which includes plastic, glass, and metals. Recycling helps in the recovery of certain valuable metals and other materials from electronics which promotes the reduction the pollution, conserving landfill spaces, and creating employment.
According to EPA, recycling one million cell phones can recover 75 pounds of gold, 772 pounds of silver, 35,000 pounds of copper, and 33 pounds of palladium.
Recycling can be very beneficial to the environment. By utilizing used and unwanted materials as industrial feedstock can help recycling work.
Educating people about how to reduce, reuse and recycle unwanted electronics at all levels can be advantageous for the environment. Campaigns should be organized for spreading awareness about environment-friendly e-waste management programs.
Conclusion
e–waste management and disposal can be a challenging process but to keep the groundwater pollution-free and environment clean and reduce the number of diseases caused due to poor e-waste disposal, we need to come with better plans and strategies for the management and disposal of e-waste.
Children are one of the most vulnerable sections of society. They are gullible and often fall under a bad influence or be a victim to sexual assault. According to National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) report, there was an increase in crime against children in 2019. To protect their rights the government has taken many steps. Protection of children from sexual offences (POCSO) act is one such legislation introduced by the ministry of women and child development. Despite having a comprehensive law there have been several issues with the interpretation. In January this year, a controversial ruling by Nagpur bench of the Bombay High court attracted widespread criticism. The bench held that skin-to-skin contact is essential to constitute the offence defined under Section 7 of the act. The court stated that punishment should be proportionate to the seriousness of the crime. This was perhaps the result of the amendment of the act in 2019 which increased the maximum punishment up to death penalty. Hence the court was of the opinion that a stricter proof was required to give death penalty to the criminal/accused. To understand the nuances of the act one has to know the basic provisions of the act.
Salient features of the act and the amendment
The act defines a child as any person below 18 years of age. It ensures physical, emotional, intellectual and social well being of a child. The act defines different forms of sexual abuse, sexual harassment and child pornography. The act is gender-neutral.
The amendment act in 2019 was aimed at deterring people from committing such heinous acts. Therefore It increased the maximum punishment to death penalty. Earlier the maximum punishment was life imprisonment.
The act enlists the provisions related to the conduct of trials of reported offences. Special courts for trials of offences were established under the act keeping the best interest of the child at paramount importance in every stage of the judicial process. Child-friendly procedures for reporting, recording of evidence, investigation and trial of offences were incorporated.
In 2020 POCSO rules were notified. The onus of awareness generation and capacity building was given to the central government and the state governments. They are responsible for preparing age-appropriate educational material and curriculum for children informing them about various aspects of personal safety. The rules details the procedure regarding care and protection of a child.
Monitoring of implementation of the act is under National Commission for the protection of child rights or state Commission for the protection of child rights, as the case may be.
Impact of the act In the past few years, there have been abominable criminal incidents against children such as the infamous Muzaffarpur incident. Such occurrences substantiate the need for death penalty. Although experts believe that death penalty can be a deterring factor but it might lead to the murder of the victim by the assaulter in an attempt to cover the crime. Hence making an act stringent might be less effective. The real deal is working on its implementation. A strict law is meaningless if it fails to control the crime. Implementation is the key to success. This intern can be done by sensitising the law enforcing agencies against such criminal activities.

I suddenly realized, separation is normal in life. Like dandellion seeds we grow wherever we fly. We’ll have new land, new friends and new dreams. The dreams that we pursue is shining and far away. They are like star and rainbows and morning dewdrops that roll on white roses. They’re on that side of life. On this side of life is the unwillingness and helplessness that we adults fight against in our life. The toughness is like food, air and tears running silently at night. Everyone is busy in their own life. Like others, our relationships gradually disappear as time goes on. Even missing has also gone. All that’s left is the great memories of our youth and the blessings never absent during holidays. We are like planets stay together for a while but separate later and move on our own orbits. I finally found out that someone must come back but others not. But we needn’t wait for them
In India the corona virus affect is mildly decreasing. In this time the government has to keep twelfth exams at this time and the result should be announced before this high risk of corona days, but now because of this corona it has been postponed. Students are safe at home and listening to the class and some days they went to school alternatively. In this corona virus second wave many students are affected many are in serious conditions, because of this corona as the economy is down parents are forcing their children to work. In this situation the children has to study and work in a job for their future, because without studying or not cultivating the talent you will be not able to sustain in this world. Day by day the world is going in advance all our trying to work hard to register their name in this world. Students need to study they can study where they are for studying there is no age limit but health is not like studies. So students have to stay in their home and study because each and every student health is not same like others so that keeping exam in offline is not worthy. If we maintain social distancing, washing hands an all too it may spread because by coughing by speaking an all, if we wear masks too it is not at all worthy. If we keep exams through online is the best thing for these days because no one will go out without any risk we can write with student safety but they will cheat in the exams. Technologies have improved a lot from big shops to small shops all in our finger tips we need not want to go outside itself such an invention we the human beings have invented.
Technology with this help itself we can make student write their exam which they have learned before how means usually while writing a exam the camera will be on student must not move for max 3 minutes he can relax himself for the time period half an hour, around the student there must not be noise it must be clear. Through invention we can make many things so that we can block other things or apps because while writing student concentration must be fully focused on writing if the student has a laptop then there will be no problem only the camera and sound will be the problem but in mobile phone while writing exam the student can go to other apps like what’s app, twitter, you tube, and Google chrome etc.. So the government has to give them data card to write their exam and do these facilities so that all will do their exam. Government had told twelfth all pass without writing exam and passing in exam will become a big risk in their future because during their job interviews they may suffer with their marks. Its corona pandemic we cannot go to school at least we can do these methods because it may became a big risk for them to choose a course or college. Only solution is writing exam through online is also the best way to save the students from the coronavirus and also to make their future bright.
