Future of Healthcare Sector

Healthcare is the most basic need of our lives.healthcare system is one of the basic pillar of every developing nation. As we can see now, Covid-19 situation is the worst situation ever. Many people had faced issues due to less numbers of doctors, shortage of beds and oxygen cylinders. But in this situation , we all depended only on the health care system. We all witnesses healthcarebeing more effective to fight against this situation than it has ever been.

Critical advancement in modern technology will play an integral role in progressing future of healthcare. According to the research technology developments such as mobile, internet of things, artificial intelligence and big data will be wonderful opportunity for overcoming healthcare. Technology made healthcare system more powerful as it increased accessibility of treatment, increased level of efficiency in data collection of patients, it become easy for frontline workers to record important patient’s data and then share it as it is.

We can say that future of healthcare heavily depends on the robotics & digital technologies.after few years all the medical work’s will be automated by this new technologies. Doctors & nurse will be treat or check their patients remotely whenever & wherever they want. We must not forget, that world’s first successful tele-surgery occured more than 15 years ago by a Surgeon in Newyork. Remotely guided 3 armed surgical robot operating 3,870 miles away in strasbourg,France. Quality healthcare will become more accessible or cheaper, more efficient & more convenient. As we know artificial intelligence have already made the work much more easy in every field. So it will help patients also to taking measurements & performing diagnostics. Another future of healthcare, is nano-technologies, It
has already being devloped but I believe in few years nano-medicines , nano-treatments etc will also
available.

Not only will technology help cure illness but, innovations will also motivate the people living with
illness. High quality healthcare helps people to defeat diseases & improve quality of life. I believe in 10 to 15 years although probably, even sooner there will be 100% treatment for cancer & diabetes. This diseases could join polio as defeated diseases. We expect there will be amazing instruments to see the complexity inside the human bodies that we can’t imagine now.

People interact with healthcare system only when they have any disease or had any injury but in future healthcare system will focus on well-being & preventions rather than treatments.

Self love is the best love

Many people think that the concept of self-love is overdrawn and they ignore it. A lot of studies have shown that self-love is the key to mental wellbeing
Modern society is shaped in such a way that we are sort of bound to constantly compete against each other or even ourselves.Love is the only thing that keeps us going and makes us less robotic in a world. Everyone needs love and we spend most of our energy on loving others — be it friends, spouses, children or family. We cannot always expect to rely only on external sources for love and that is where the concept of self-love comes in. A person who practices self-love will never need to depend on others to be happy and it is an empowering feeling to be happy on the inside.

Self-love is not being selfish, it is just putting yourself first and not being too tough on yourself. So next time you hear that little voice in your head telling you that you are not good enough or that you cannot afford to make mistakes , just ignore it.When our loved ones make a mistake we often forgive them easily, but when we make a mistake we are often too hard on ourselves.

The first step of self-love is realising that we are only human and it is okay to make mistakes; it is okay to lose at times; it is okay to not have the best day.All we need to do is love ourselves and let the negative things pass through.Bad times will pass.

Self-love has many benefits. The first benefit is greater life satisfaction. When we love ourselves more we instantly change our perspective of the world. Self-love can give us a more positive attitude towards life. The second benefit of self-love is that it can encourage us to pick up good habits. Self-love means loving your body, soul, and mind. Therefore, people who love themselves often refrain from doing things that will have an impact. It helps us to develop good habits.

If you start loving your body and mind more than others you will be the most happiest person in the world.
Most important benefit of self-love is better mental health. People who love themselves are less likely to suffer from anxiety or depression; self-love takes us in the way where there is a positive mindset which is an essential ingredient for success in life and for mental wellbeing.Learning to love yourself also reduces stress and makes you more focused at work.Put yourself a little higher on your priority list; think highly of yourself as the world takes you at your own estimate.Consider yourself important too, love yourself as much as you love your friends and family. When your depressed or sad don’t be angry on yourself because you may like that same thing when you see that in a positive side.Happiness and self-love are interconnected; and we all deserve to be happy. Self-love is the key to happiness and a person who is happy is in a far better position to achieve success in every aspect of life.

What about your mental health?

In today’s era, everyone is occupied in their own life, we all are overlooking the most significant thing i.e. our mental well-being. It is a principal concern globally. Several people don’t want to discuss this matter as they viewed it as a disgrace, several people relate this issue with craziness, being a person who is crazy and who can’t use his/her mind capacity naturally thinks as a victim of mental diseases, but it’s not true this topic is far wider and contains a lot of things do you know what mental health includes, it includes social, psychological, emotional, every field of life. It forms and constructs our way of thinking and living life. According to WHO near around 7.5 percent of people of the whole world suffer from some kind of mental health issues like traumas, disorders, etc.
From this large number of people, most of them don’t take any corrective actions even they even share their problems with anyone. It is deemed taboo in society. These issues related to mental health doesn’t recognize by someone easily, it appears to light when a person started getting self-destructive thoughts. Meanwhile, they commit something wrong with them, it is not a minor issue; it grows from years to years little by little, if no action is taken by a person seriously. You can’t consider it as only a temporary issue, it can leads to permanent damage too. The way we talk about other diseases with someone, we can’t talk about this. Most teenagers don’t get enough courage to share their internal thoughts and feelings with someone to save them from being judged. Moreover, it doesn’t come only in a specific age group, a child, an adult and even a meddle age person come to suffer from this. Our lives become so hectic we always remain busy with one or more things, a correct reason to suffer from a health issue is still unknown, as a reason can be genetics or it can arise from a specific age, from hormonal changes, from some specific event happened in someone’s life or it can arise from different trauma situation of a person’s life. So there are numerous reasons. But there are a lot of warning signs from which we can recognize that someone has these issues or not, like a person is sleeping or eating irregularly whether in shortage or excess, if someone is indulging in bad habits like smoking, drinking excessively. Feeling helpless, hapless, confused, angry, upset, numb, experiencing serve mood swings. Inability to perform a daily task and thinking of harming himself, etc. So, one need to take some crucial steps towards spreading awareness about mental health worldwide. It a common issue so there is no need to worry and patients recover from it very easily permanently. But just there is a need to take some steps and it need support from society from government, from everyone. There are different ways to cope up with this issue, like talking with friends and family about it, taking some professional help if need it, stay positive, connecting with others.

CYBERBULLYING :- A THREAT

Social media is a platform where every individual have a right to share their thoughts, opinions, views. The huge amount of audience are on these platforms and contribute a lot to its success like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc. The world we see on social media is totally virtual where everyone shares pictures to make others feel less confident. From a very long time, People on social media have become very envious and doesn’t let anybody in peace. The direction in which social media is going will become a tough place to be on the platform for some people.

There are lot of hate comments and hate speech have always been shared through social media which makes it less safer for young generation. Despite all the benefits, Cyberbullying is also one of the outcome of Social media. Cyberbullying can be easily explained as when somebody try to degrade you in public platform by the words they use for you. Harsh and hate speech can never considered cool. Anybody can create fake identity on any of the social media as they consider it a weapon to hurt somebody. Not many people mind their own business, always try to invade in someone’s privacy and disrespect others.

Cyberbullying can be a consider a big threat of having safe environment on online sites. It becomes very hard to find out someone who is having fake profile and picture. The trollers are just some useless people who are unemployed. The mindset of trollers are filled with trash, which they try to show the vulgarity in social media . So many cybercrime department have been introduced by the government . Anybody can report their problem and Cybercrime department always try to help others.

It is our prime responsibility to stay away from stranger on social media and try to keep our children safe from the negativity . It is very easy to harm somebody’s confidence by meaningless comments but very hard to spread positivity and help others by giving them valuable compliments. It can actually build their confidence and make them rise and shine brighter.

Electronic waste: Generation, Management and Disposal

In today’s day and age, one will hardly be able to find a person without a smartphone or a laptop! What is interesting is that in a regular household with say four people would mean four different smartphones, one or maybe two laptops. But what happens when these smartphones and laptops are replaced with a new ones? In the case of smartphones, it has been observed that on average, most people replace their smartphones every two years. So, what happens to old ones? What happens to their chargers and other electronics which came with them? This was only about a single household, now imagine several households and many industries which operate solely on electronics. Where all this waste goes? How are these disposed of?

The growth of IT and communication sectors and the global market of electronics and electrical equipment go hand in hand. Over the recent past, the IT and communication sector has increased the usage of electronics exponentially. We see new electronic products being launched daily. This fast up-gradation of electronic products forces consumers to discard the old electronics rapidly which in turn, adds to more and more e-waste. This growing problem of rapid generation of e-waste is a serious concern and a threat to our environment which needs proper management and disposal strategies.

What is e-waste exactly?

e-waste can be defined as any electronic appliance such as a refrigerator, computer, mobile phone, laptop, television, camera, etc., or even parts of such appliances like cables, wires, batteries, electronic chips, drives, etc which are not in use anymore.

This can be divided into three main categories which are:

(i) Large household appliances

Refrigerators, washing machines, etc.

(ii) IT and Telecommunications

Personal computers, laptops, etc.

(iii) Consumer equipment

TVs, mobile phones, mp3 players, etc.

e-waste challenges in India

This increase in the volume of e-waste is problematic. India ranks 177 amongst the bottom five countries on the Environmental Performance Index 2018, as per a report released at World Economic Forum 2018.

Studies show that India generates more than two million tonnes of e-waste annually. One of the reasons for this huge number is the lack of proper e-waste management and disposal system. Because of the dumping that takes place in open dumping sites the groundwater is contaminated which leads to health issues as the toxic contaminants reach the human body and animals through the contaminated groundwater. The health hazards ranging from liver and kidney damage to various types of neurological disorders. The waste disposed of in landfills reaches agricultural fields which in turn affects humans and animals.

The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) and KPMG study, Electronic Waste Management in India identified that computer equipment accounts for almost 70 percent of e-waste followed by telecommunication equipment phones (12 percent), electrical equipment (8 percent), and medical equipment (7 percent) with remaining from household e-waste.

What can be done?

It has been observed that almost all e-waste consists of some recyclable material which includes plastic, glass, and metals. Recycling helps in the recovery of certain valuable metals and other materials from electronics which promotes the reduction the pollution, conserving landfill spaces, and creating employment.

According to EPA, recycling one million cell phones can recover 75 pounds of gold, 772 pounds of silver, 35,000 pounds of copper, and 33 pounds of palladium.

Recycling can be very beneficial to the environment. By utilizing used and unwanted materials as industrial feedstock can help recycling work.

Educating people about how to reduce, reuse and recycle unwanted electronics at all levels can be advantageous for the environment. Campaigns should be organized for spreading awareness about environment-friendly e-waste management programs.

Conclusion

ewaste management and disposal can be a challenging process but to keep the groundwater pollution-free and environment clean and reduce the number of diseases caused due to poor e-waste disposal, we need to come with better plans and strategies for the management and disposal of e-waste.

Protecting innocence : POCSO Act, 2012

Protecting Innocence

Children are one of the most vulnerable sections of society. They are gullible and often fall under a bad influence or be a victim to sexual assault. According to National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) report, there was an increase in crime against children in 2019. To protect their rights the government has taken many steps. Protection of children from sexual offences (POCSO) act is one such legislation introduced by the ministry of women and child development.
Despite having a comprehensive law there have been several issues with the interpretation. In January this year, a controversial ruling by Nagpur bench of the Bombay High court attracted widespread criticism. The bench held that skin-to-skin contact is essential to constitute the offence defined under Section 7 of the act. The court stated that punishment should be proportionate to the seriousness of the crime. This was perhaps the result of the amendment of the act in 2019 which increased the maximum punishment up to death penalty. Hence the court was of the opinion that a stricter proof was required to give death penalty to the criminal/accused. To understand the nuances of the act one has to know the basic provisions of the act.

Salient features of the act and the amendment

  • The act defines a child as any person below 18 years of age. It ensures physical, emotional, intellectual and social well being of a child. The act defines different forms of sexual abuse, sexual harassment and child pornography. The act is gender-neutral.
  • The amendment act in 2019 was aimed at deterring people from committing such heinous acts. Therefore It increased the maximum punishment to death penalty. Earlier the maximum punishment was life imprisonment.
  • The act enlists the provisions related to the conduct of trials of reported offences. Special courts for trials of offences were established under the act keeping the best interest of the child at paramount importance in every stage of the judicial process. Child-friendly procedures for reporting, recording of evidence, investigation and trial of offences were incorporated.
  • In 2020 POCSO rules were notified. The onus of awareness generation and capacity building was given to the central government and the state governments. They are responsible for preparing age-appropriate educational material and curriculum for children informing them about various aspects of personal safety. The rules details the procedure regarding care and protection of a child.
  • Monitoring of implementation of the act is under National Commission for the protection of child rights or state Commission for the protection of child rights, as the case may be.

Impact of the act
In the past few years, there have been abominable criminal incidents against children such as the infamous Muzaffarpur incident. Such occurrences substantiate the need for death penalty. Although experts believe that death penalty can be a deterring factor but it might lead to the murder of the victim by the assaulter in an attempt to cover the crime. Hence making an act stringent might be less effective. The real deal is working on its implementation. A strict law is meaningless if it fails to control the crime. Implementation is the key to success. This intern can be done by sensitising the law enforcing agencies against such criminal activities.

Rural Development – the need of the hour

India is a diverse nation and one of the most challenging areas of India is majorly included in the rural regions. Rural areas are known as villages and have extremely less population per square kilometer. Even though the population per square kilometer is significantly less, most of the population in India resides in rural areas. The socio-economic census data (2011) revealed that almost 73% of the households were in rural areas. A good amount of GDP arises through rural regions as a significant amount of income is generated by people residing in rural regions through agriculture, Cottage Industries, Pottery, self-employment, services, construction, and much more.

Importance of Rural Development

Rural Development implies the actions taken for developing rural areas to improve India’s economy and to improve the standard of living in rural areas.
Rural development is the need of the hour because the majority of the population resides in rural regions. India’s economy can be improved drastically if the rural regions are developed. Necessities are not accessible in the rural regions and rural development is important because it will make basic needs accessible.
Some areas need to be developed in rural areas urgently, they include Education, Public Health, Sanitation, Women Empowerment, Employment, and much more.

Objectives of Rural Development

The main objectives of developing rural regions by the government are:
1. Improving productiveness & wages of people residing in rural regions
2. Increasing the standard of living of people residing in rural regions
3. Increasing employment and working towards demolishing unemployment
4. Providing basic needs
… And so on.

Rural Areas & Urbanization

India, in today’s time, has its focus on urban areas. Urban cities are expected to be the main form of growth while the potential of rural regions is mostly ignored. The existing reality and the plight of the rural areas need to be considered. Rural India is far more behind than Urban India in almost most aspects.
Various indicators conclude the importance of rural development in India:
1. Majority of families living in rural regions have a monthly income of less than Rs. 5000.
2. More than half of the rural families do not own land and are into casual labor. Close to 97 percent of the rural employment is in agriculture and informal jobs.
3. The rate of poverty reduction is higher in Urban Areas than the Rural Areas.
4. Rural literacy rate is lower than the urban literacy rate.
5. Rural Regions lack health and sanitation facilities more than the urban regions.

Conclusion

The nature of rural areas has changed as globalization as well as urbanization increased.
Rural development is extremely crucial for the overall development of the country. The majority of Indians are dependent on agriculture and one-third of rural India is still below the poverty line. Therefore, the government needs to develop rural regions and provide them with a better standard of living. Rural India Development is extremely crucial, especially in today’s extremely challenging times. The solutions to the challenges faced by rural people are complicated and funding is not the solution. Funding cannot solve the majority of issues, one of the main ones being poverty. It is a temporary solution. In the long run, skills and opportunities can make a huge difference in developing rural areas.
Villages have taken a backseat in almost every aspect of socio-economic analysis. The balance between urban and rural development is a must for the well-being of the country especially during COVID where the rural areas have been severely affected and the lack of basic facilities has made the situation for them even worse.

AGRICULTURE

*Organic farming is the best and the most viable alternative for traditional farming techniques. The producer’s of organic farming has high nutritional value in comparison to conventional food.
*Organic farming helps in reducing soil pollution and air pollution. Use of harmful chemicals fertilizer and pesticides will poison our food cycle.
*India has the most organic farmers in the whole world. The only disadvantage of organic farming is it is costlier in comparison to conventional farming methods.
*several medicines are also made using the byproduct of crops earlier cultivation was solely dependent on cultivation but now with innovation like dams pump sets, canals ,farmers don’t reply on monsoon for irrigation in field.
*India is the second most elevated maker of rural items of planet. Farming is the most important job for a country like India whose population more than 130crore.

Welcome to the adults world

I suddenly realized, separation is normal in life. Like dandellion seeds we grow wherever we fly. We’ll have new land, new friends and new dreams. The dreams that we pursue is shining and far away. They are like star and rainbows and morning dewdrops that roll on white roses. They’re on that side of life. On this side of life is the unwillingness and helplessness that we adults fight against in our life. The toughness is like food, air and tears running silently at night. Everyone is busy in their own life. Like others, our relationships gradually disappear as time goes on. Even missing has also gone. All that’s left is the great memories of our youth and the blessings never absent during holidays. We are like planets stay together for a while but separate later and move on our own orbits. I finally found out that someone must come back but others not. But we needn’t wait for them

Board Examinations in India

In India the corona virus affect is mildly decreasing. In this time the government has to keep twelfth exams at this time and the result should be announced before this high risk of corona days, but now because of this corona it has been postponed. Students are safe at home and listening to the class and some days they went to school alternatively. In this corona virus second wave many students are affected many are in serious conditions, because of this corona as the economy is down parents are forcing their children to work. In this situation the children has to study and work in a job for their future, because without studying or not cultivating the talent you will be not able to sustain in this world. Day by day the world is going in advance all our trying to work hard to register their name in this world. Students need to study they can study where they are for studying there is no age limit but health is not like studies. So students have to stay in their home and study because each and every student health is not same like others so that keeping exam in offline is not worthy. If we maintain social distancing, washing hands an all too it may spread because by coughing by speaking an all, if we wear masks too it is not at all worthy. If we keep exams through online is the best thing for these days because no one will go out without any risk we can write with student safety but they will cheat in the exams. Technologies have improved a lot from big shops to small shops all in our finger tips we need not want to go outside itself such an invention we the human beings have invented.

Technology with this help itself we can make student write their exam which they have learned before how means usually while writing a exam the camera will be on student must not move for max 3 minutes he can relax himself for the time period half an hour, around the student there must not be noise it must be clear. Through invention we can make many things so that we can block other things or apps because while writing student concentration must be fully focused on writing if the student has a laptop then there will be no problem only the camera and sound will be the problem but in mobile phone while writing exam the student can go to other apps like what’s app, twitter, you tube, and Google chrome etc.. So the government has to give them data card to write their exam and do these facilities so that all will do their exam. Government had told twelfth all pass without writing exam and passing in exam will become a big risk in their future because during their job interviews they may suffer with their marks.  Its corona pandemic we cannot go to school at least we can do these methods because it may became a big risk for them to choose a course or college. Only solution is writing exam through online is also the best way to save the students from the corona virus and also to make their future bright.

“The environment needs your help”

Read the news on any given day, and you’d think we were all soon-to-be goners from climate change. New stories and reports regularly reveal all the ways humans are trashing the planet at an unprecedented rate.

Given the seemingly dismal reality, we might be tempted to throw up our hands and say there’s nothing we can do to fix the problem. But defeatism won’t get us anywhere.

Governments and corporations need to step in, but they shouldn’t bear all the responsibility for making a positive environmental impact. People from all walks of life can do things each day to reduce their carbon footprint and make their routine more eco-friendly.Becoming an environmental warrior doesn’t require a superhero-like effort. Something as simple as creating a grocery shopping list or using ceramic baking pans can make a big difference.Inact, a healthy lifestyle and an eco-conscious oneoften go hand in hand. Extra bonus: Being eco-friendly is often easier on the wallet.

The most obvious ways to help the environment are to conserve energy and use less water. But if you put on your green thinking cap, you can come up with lots of less obvious, but no less important, earth-friendly habits.Need jump start? Read on to learn a few simple day-to-day strategies to help the environment. You might be surprised at how much they help you in the process.

How to help the environment: Keep the car at home ;

Some Americans have swapped out their cars for eco-friendly modes of transport like walking, biking, and public transportation for good reason.

Along with helping to save money and improve fitness, leaving the car in the garage also reduces the amount of dangerous greenhouse gases (which are responsible for a large chunk of climate change) we release into the environment. One powerful way to minimize the environmental impact of driving is to trade in your clunker for a more eco-friendly vehicle. For other (less costly) options, try these tips to get you where you need to go.

Bike to work

Despite snazzy cycling accessories like the invisible bike helmet and gloves with light-up turn signals, fewer Americans are riding their bikes to work.Trusted Source . If more people commuted on two wheels instead of four, experts estimate we could reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 11 percent by 2050.Trusted Source One study found that half of all car trips were less than 3 miles. Given the short distance, cycling or walking could easily substitute for 41 percent of these trips, saving nearly 5 percent in carbon emissions.

Walk it off

Motoring on two feet is a lot more energy-efficient than cruising on four wheels. Walking obviously isn’t a viable choice if you’re headed to see family across the country, but as long as you stay local, you can sneak more foot action into your daily routine and cut down on carbon emissions in the process.

Go public

The thought of squishing into a crowded train car might be a big turnoff to some would-be commuters, but think of all the upsides. Riding the rails creates extra time to catch up on emails, read a juicy novel, or get just a little more shut-eye. Plus it does wonders for the health of our planet. Switching to the subway or metro cuts greenhouse gas emissions by 76 percent per passenger mile compared to driving your own car. Taking the bus drops emissions by 33 percent per passenger mile over commuting solo.Trusted Source

More ways to help the environment: Reduce food waste

Everyone talks about how much food we eat, but what about the food we don’t eat? Americans toss out 133 billion pounds of food each year. That means about 40 percent of our food supply goes straight into the trash. Trusted Source If people around the world saved just one quarter of the food they now waste, we could end global hunger. Trusted Source But instead of filling empty plates, that wasted food usually ends up in landfills, where it eventually turns into a destructive greenhouse gas called methane.Wasting food also squanders the resources (like water and energy) that went into the production of that food. Here are some easy ways to shop and eat more efficiently to waste less food.

Save the environment by using less packaging

Disposable plates, plastic forks, and ketchup packets are small, but they add up. Food packaging and containers create 39 million tons of waste annually — nearly one quarter of solid waste produced in the United States. Trusted Source .A whole lot of those containers end up in landfills, where they release more methane into the air.The good news is that many companies are becoming more aware of how much food packaging they use and taking steps to reduce it (edible wrappers, anyone?).

Is Privacy not Private anymore?

The IT Rules 2021 (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code), on 25th Feb have announced that, the social media intermediaries providing messaging function and which has more than 50 lakh registered users should oblige to the condition of ensuring chat traceability to find the originator of the information on their platforms. WhatsApp on 25th May sued the Indian Government as the new rules asks for the users information to be tracked and Stored, which is the opposite of their end -to- end encryption service. For the message to be traced, encryption has to be broken which is the fundamental feature that makes users to trust the service and exchange information.

A release by Ministry of Electronics and IT said, “the traceability measure will be used by the law enforcement as the last resort” and only on specific situation such as to prevent, identify offence that affects sovereignty and integrity of India or child sex abuse material, punishable with imprisonment.

   Privacy at Stake:

WhatsApp is a messaging service that provides end -to- end encryption service to the users which allows only the sender and the receiver to know the content. There are about 400 million users of this messaging service in India whose privacy would be at stake if the rule is enacted. Encryption feature enables privacy protection, breaking it would be violation of privacy.

This rule will affect the right to show one’s opinion without hesitation, the work of journalists, social activists, voice of people against unethical acts etc., Sharing of personal and important information will become a question mark.

WhatsApp’s contention that “requiring messaging apps to ‘trace’ chats is the equivalent of asking us to keep finger print of every single message sent…and fundamentally determines right to privacy”

The existing law itself can already have access to encrypted data under Section69(3) of the IT Act. It can still seek unencrypted data, meta data and digital traits from intermediaries like WhatsApp. By this rule the law will be able to find the offender but at what cost, thousands of people’s freedom and privacy is on the line

It’s just a normal thing….

Why we don’t call period by it’s name?
Why periods always needed code word?

You know why ???

Let me tell you ….According to the culture and old rituals if a woman is on her period That means she is dirty or unclean.

IN ISLAM-

In Indonesia,Women is not allowed to enter in the kitchen nor she is allowed to sex with her husband while ,Menstruating . She is not even allowed to sleep with her family .

In nepal,Womens are not allowed to do household work for the 3 night during her menstruating period.

• You cannot get pregnant If you have sex during your periods:
NO, its wrong if is the woman has unprotected sex while her period days.
so,somewhere there is still possibly to get pregnant .

• Having menstrual sex is unhealthy for women and it also can kill the man:

class 12 cbse board exams

Like Mahabharata, the story of the board exam for the students of CBSE class 12 had been going on for what seems like a whole Yug. Then finally, one fine day, on 1st June, it was announced by our Hon’ble Prime Minister that the exams are cancelled in the interest of the students. Whether the students heaved a sigh of relief, it was really the parents who swiped the sweat off their foreheads, because let’s face it, everyone is worried about their health amidst this pandemic.

Last year, too, though the exams had started in most part of the country, that was the time the first wave started getting worse, so, the exams were postponed. Half the students had completed their exams, some had one or two exams left, and some hadn’t even started. That is the pattern of CBSE. So it was really a headache on how to conduct the exams. Then since the situation got worse, the exams were cancelled. The marks were declared with the aggregate of the pre-board exams conducted. This year though, it is not an option, because, the students from the beginning had not attended face-to-face class. So, it is now in the hands of the teachers and authorities to brainstorm a way to grade the students that meets everyone’s satisfaction.

The last years grading system was that the students had attended some of the exams. The aggregate of those subjects was taken and the mark was given to the remaining subjects. For the students who hadn’t written a single subject the marks from their pre-boards were taken and according to that they were graded for their board exams.

But this year that would not be the case because from the beginning the students had been attending the online classes so the assessments were all conducted online and let’s be honest, it would have been easy for students. So now if the authorities plan on marking the students according to the internal marks everybody is in a win-win situation. There is also another method that the board is considering. That is grading the students according to their 10th marks.

Since the board has yet to submit their report to Supreme Court, the marking pattern of the papers is not yet finalized. Either way, the one worry of whether the exams are going to be conducted or not has been served but since keeping in mind that the 12th marks are the base for that students career, the decision regarding its marking scheme is crucial and if the board and the Government does not satisfy most of the parents and students, there might be a major negotiation between the two parties and by the time the final decision is taking the students should have been through another Kalyug in Mahabharat.

The option to write the exam after the situation gets conducive for the students willing to write the exam, is just doubtful. We have to keep in mind that this situation is tough for everyone and the government is doing whatever it can but since we have to believe “to each his own”, it is tough to meet everybody’s set expectations and especially since the population of the students and their families constitute a fair share of the population. The Government really needs to think and take a decision that would not only satisfy the current needs of the students but also their dreams they want to follow after their higher secondary.

History of Amazon

#Amazon.in

Founding:

Jeff Bezos, a young man fresh out of Princeton, the university he graduated from in 1986, he quickly began to make a name for himself in the business world, eventually becoming vice-president of the major Wall Street firm DE Shaw and Co. A position he left in 1994 to launch his own company from Seattle (Washington). After reading a report on the future of the Internet that projected annual growth of web commerce of 2,300%, in the space of a garage (Seattle in 1994), Jeff Bezos decided to build his new online company. The result of this adventure was Cadabra (the embryo of Amazon). When the company was born, it was exclusively dedicated to selling books on the Internet. “With more than three million titles for sale and available throughout the world, the books category has more articles than any other”, acknowledged the founder of the company in an interview years ago.At the same time, in his incessant quest to improve business volume, the entrepreneur soon opted to change the name of the company. Bezos selected the name of Amazon by looking at the dictionary, he chose the name because of its association with the Amazonas river and also because it began with the first letter of the alphabet. Amazon’s slogan is From A to Z.

The beginning of Amazon

Bezos decided that this new business would sell books over the Web, due to the large worldwide demand for literature, the low price that could be offered for books, and the great selection of titles that were available in print.Amazon.com website was launched on July 16, 1995, immediately beginning an exponential growth of the company and its presence on the web. After 30 days of Amazon.com going online and without media promotion, Amazon was selling books in all 50 US states and 45 countriesAmazon Homepage 1995Bezos wanted to work on making the website as customer-friendly as possible and relating the site to all types of customers. The company offered discounts, affordable prices, offered topic areas to browse, books recently featured, a recommendation center, access to customer reviews… And a bunch of other customer hits!Despite the quick takeoff, not everything could be pink. It wasn’t long before other companies started attacking the new company, like Walmart that accused Bezos’s business of having stolen his business idea.

Media a Bad influence or a Good one?

Media is a very power tool. It influences not only the young mind’s but the older one’s too, such an important weapon was sometimes used in a very wrong by many people. It is said that the fastest means of information projector in this world is media but unfortunately public is also utilizing it in a wrong way they take the content which they want instead they have never thought this thing called what is reality?

the worst and sad part is media which is the biggest social platform in this society or the world doesn’t cover the news which actually should be covered rather than they curry the favors and provide the info which is far from reality. Is this the actual influence which should be grab by the public or the young minds? the answer is No certainly not media should cover the news which is actually a news and peice of info which need attention then it should be published or project then the public or young minds gather their attention and make decision which is certainly important  their life.

the conclusion is media a good influencer but if it has not performed it’s part or it is not utilized in a certain way it should be used then it is a definitely gonna be a bad influencer so whatever it is it depends on us. make use most of it have fun but in limits have gain but it limits

YOGA – NATURAL IMMUNE BOOSTER

A Better Body Image

Yoga develops inner awareness. It focuses your attention on your body’s abilities at the present moment. It helps develop breath and strength of mind and body. It’s not about physical appearance.

Yoga studios typically don’t have mirrors. This is so people can focus their awareness inward rather than how a pose — or the people around them — looks. Surveys have found that those who practiced yoga were more aware of their bodies than people who didn’t practice yoga. They were also more satisfied with and less critical of their bodies. For these reasons, yoga has become an integral part in the treatment of eating disorders and programs that promote positive body image and self-esteem.

Becoming a Mindful Eater

Mindfulness refers to focusing your attention on what you are experiencing in the present moment without judging yourself.

Practicing yoga has been shown to increase mindfulness not just in class, but in other areas of a person’s life.

Researchers describe mindful eating as a nonjudgmental awareness of the physical and emotional sensations associated with eating. They developed a questionnaire to measure mindful eating using these behaviors:

  • Eating even when full (disinhibition)
  • Being aware of how food looks, tastes and smells
  • Eating in response to environmental cues, such as the sight or smell of food
  • Eating when sad or stressed (emotional eating)
  • Eating when distracted by other things

The researchers found that people who practiced yoga were more mindful eaters according to their scores. Both years of yoga practice and number of minutes of practice per week were associated with better mindful eating scores. Practicing yoga helps you be more aware how your body feels. This heightened awareness can carry over to mealtime as you savor each bite or sip, and note how food smells, tastes and feels in you mouth.

A Boost to Weight Loss and Maintenance

People who practice yoga and are mindful eaters are more in tune with their bodies. They may be more sensitive to hunger cues and feelings of fullness.

Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood. People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.

Enhancing Fitness

Yoga is known for its ability to soothe tension and anxiety in the mind and body. But it can also have an impact on a person’s exercise capacity.

Researchers studied a small group of sedentary individuals who had not practiced yoga before. After eight weeks of practicing yoga at least twice a week for a total of 180 minutes, participants had greater muscle strength and endurance, flexibility and cardio-respiratory fitness.

Covid triggered Unemployment

The covid – 19 pandemic has triggered the common issue of unemployment in our country. The real danger is this crisis will eventually increase the poverty and economical inequalities and will have an impact on our economy for years to come.

The government has imposed lockdown to control the spread of corona virus. As a result, it has impacted on the economic and commercial activities of our nation and effected into job loss and migration of migrant workers which trembled the entire nation.

This Job crisis shows no sign of slowing as the impact of corona virus continues to batter almost every sector now.

The economy has hit hard by this pandemic particularly the informal economy. Around 20 crore 12 lakh people lost their job in April 2020 as per CMIE (Centre for Monitoring of Indian Economy) and 74 lakh people lost their jobs in April 2021 as per CMIE. Apart from job loss the household incomes have also fallen down sharply. The CMI has also said that 97% of households has seen fall in income as a result.

India’s Unemployment has increased from 7.97% in April to 11.9% in May. While unemployment is high, future too isn’t looking very bright. Our traders who were looking forward to recover from last year’s shutdown didn’t got the relief due to Lockdown 2.0. While big businesses are suffering losses whereas the small ones are permanently shut down.

The present constraints are majorly predominant in urban India, where most of the salaried jobs are. According to employment data from 2019-20, urban India accounted for 58 % of all salaried jobs in the country. The job loss in urban India during 2020-21 was, however, only 38 % of the total job loss of 9.8 million, as per the CMIE report. This means that urban India will observe further salaried job loss over the course of the year.

Migrant and labor forces:

Migrant workers constitute one of the weaker sections of the society and this pandemic has rubbed salt to their wounds. Due to lockdown, daily wage workers are left with no work. Besides job losses, the migrant workers are facing another reality – hunger. Unemployment in 2020 had left these labors and workers with little or no savings, and now jobs are scarce and living costs have gone sky high.

Farmers and primary sector:

Farmers are crucial part of the food value chain in India. They are the most significant element of the global food system. This pandemic has brought new risks which have threaten the livelihood and food security. Every year, Indian farmers face risks such as low rainfall, price volatility and rising debts. But risks from the COVID-19 pandemic are putting new challenges in front of a sector that is already under threat.

Women and Youngsters:

According to reports, women saw a larger decline in job losses in India than men. Covid also created turmoil in Young people’s lives by taking their jobs away. The youth share of total employment loss was 15-18 times greater than their share in total employment. This is pathetic. The pre-crisis challenges are now amplified due to covid – 19 hit.

VACCINE PHOBIA

When we were born, we were vaccinated for many diseases. Have you wondered why babies are vaccinated and how it works? Babies are very fragile and have a very weak or immature immune system and are thus at the risk of becoming sick. A vaccine is a substance that stimulates the production of antibodies and provides immunity to one or more diseases. A vaccine contains an agent that resembles the disease-causing microbe which is either weakened or killed and is being injected to the living beings. When the living body identifies a similar or related microbes in future it destroys the microorganism. The vaccines have been proven to be useful in shielding us from various hazardous health issues. Every year they prevent more than 3 million childhood deaths worldwide from diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis and measles, to name a few. Though vaccines have caused some level of worry due to its side effects there was also some and trust attached along with it.

In the current situation in India, the nation is fighting bravely together against the second wave of coronavirus. After much of struggle, many vaccines are invented such as Covishield, Covaxin, Sputnik V etc. These are considered as a torch in abstract darkness. However it didn’t last long because of the fear of its side effects, the unpleasant happenings, events and news. People are like cat on the wall unable to choose between extremes-one is to stay without guard and increase the risk of exposure to coronavirus and the other, to vaccinate themselves and tremble due to the fear of its side effects which might even be fatal. Of course! Every human body has its own defects and is never identical to the other. The suitability of vaccine also depends on the body conditions. Many people fear that they might fall sick after taking the vaccine. Mostly in remote areas with less awareness and more fear have expressed that they are healthy and strongly believe that they would not get sick even if they are affected by coronavirus and are confident about the immune system.

Even we ourselves must have heard people in our neighbouring areas dying immediately after taking either one shot or both shots of vaccine. Some of us must have also heard people getting really sick after the first shot of vaccine. This creates a lot of chaos because people started losing confidence in the vaccine because they believe that getting infected or getting vaccinated, both can be baleful. I’ve heard many people talking about the vaccine that it is not suitable for all age groups and administering it to the old people triggers new health problems which weren’t visible before. I have also heard many saying that the vaccine is also not suitable for the children as it causes serious health issues when they become adults. But apart from whatever we hear or see, the vaccines are lifesavers and consists of a lot of positives and benefits though it may have some drawbacks too. The vaccines have gone through a lot of processes and tests before being given to the public. The vaccine might not be a perfect solution but still let us hope it paves way for a better and healthier future.

Class 12 Board exam cancelled ( PM says safety of the students it’s very important)

                          Class 12 Board Exams Cancelled,

PM Says Safety Of Students Most Important

Class 12 board exams conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) have been cancelled.

There will be no Class 12 board exams this year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday, ending weeks of anxiety among students and parents over the Covid situation in the country. The decision was taken because of “uncertain conditions” due to COVID-19 and based on feedback from different stakeholders, said his office.

Students should not be forced to appear for exams in such a stressful situation,” a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office The health and safety of our students is of utmost importance and there will be no compromise on this aspect,” said the statement, quoting PM Modi. Both CBSE and CISCE Class 12 exams have been cancelled.

Government of India has decided to cancel the Class XII CBSE Board Exams. After extensive consultations, we have taken a decision that is student-friendly, one that safeguards the health as well as future of our youth,” PM Modi tweeted.

The CBSE will now take steps to compile the results of Class 12 students according to “well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner”, the PMO release said. Like last year, students who still want to take the exams will be given a chance when the situation improves, said the government.

The decision was announced shortly after PM Modi’s meeting with key ministers and officials from various related ministries and stakeholders.

COVID-19 has affected the academic calendar and the subject of board exams was causing immense anxiety among students, parents and teachers, which had to be put to an end,” said the PMO statement.

The decision comes two days ahead of a Supreme Court hearing in which the Centre is expected to file its reply on a petition seeking exactly this. The court had posted the hearing to June 3 after the Centre requested time.

At a meeting  on May 23, the CBSE had recommended that the exams be held between July 15 and August 26. It also suggested two options: regular exams in 19 major subjects at notified centers and shorter-duration exams at schools where the students are enrolled

A majority of states had favored holding the exam, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal had said after that meeting. Mr. Pokhriyal was on Tuesday admitted to AIIMS hospital in Delhi with post covid  complications

The Prime Minister asserted that the decision has been taken in the interest of students and that the anxiety among students, parents and teachers must be put to an end.The CICSE had last week asked its affiliated schools to submit data, including average of marks obtained by Class 12 students in Class 11 and during this session. The board had postponed Class 12 exams which were scheduled from May 4 in light of the devastating second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic

The 12 Board exam cancelled . In the prime Minister “said” to the students safety and security it’s very important for the students.

Effects Of Pandemic

The pandemic i.e. Covid 19 has devastated the economy of the entire world . Only one country which is least affected by this pandemic is China . Our entire life has been changed forever .
No one has ever thought has the world can see such a time when the GDP of India will fall by a whooping 8 percentage which is one of the largest fall of all times .

Not only India but also most other countries other than China have faced the devastating effects of this pandemic . Be it developed countries like the USA , Russia , Britain or be it developing or the underdeveloped countries like that of India , and other African countries and Asian countries . The life can never be the same again .

Let us see some of the changes that this recent pandemic has brought in our life :

Education System :  The education system is the basis for every economy of the world . A good education is very important for a child’s mental and physical growth .

The pandemic has totally shattered the same . In India ,one has never thought even in its dreams that the entire education system would be online as a result of an outrageous pandemic .

Now only those which are fortunate enough that they can afford to study digitally are now getting a proper education.

Increasing Income Inequality : The pandemic has bought around 150 million people below the poverty line in the world .

The gaps between the poor and the rich which was very high even before the pandemic in some of the developing countries has risen further .

Higher Birth Rate , Unemployment and Poverty :
All the three terms mentioned above are related to each other in some way or the other . When people who are less skilled or their work cannot be done over he mobile phone are in a great trouble .

They are unemployed now ad have no work to do other than making babies , which has caused high birth rates in our country .

Unemployment

India is still not out of the woods as far as unemployment is concerned after a year when the lockdown was imposed to contain the spread of deadly COVID-19 on March 25 last year as pandemic-induced job loss has not tapered off consistently.

The government had imposed a lockdown to curb the spread of the pandemic but this impacted economic and commercial activities and resulted in job loss and later on the exodus of migrant workers which rocked the entire nation.

According to the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE) data, the unemployment rate was recorded at 6.9 per cent in February 2021 which is slightly better than 7.8 per cent in the same month last year and 8.8 per cent in March 2020, during which lockdown was imposed.

The data showed that the unemployment rate had peaked to 23.5 per cent in April and remained at 21.7 per cent in May. It started tapering off from June onward when it was recorded at 10.2 per cent in the month and further improved to 7.4 per cent in July.

However, the unemployment rate again rose slightly to 8.3 in August and improved to 6.7 per cent in September last year, as per CMIE data.

In October, unemployment again rose slightly to 7 per cent and then eased to 6.5 per cent in November last year as per the data.

EQUALITY

Gender equality is a human right first and foremost. A woman has the right to live in dignity, free from hunger and fear. Women’s empowerment is also a critical strategy for achieving development and alleviating poverty. Women who are empowered increase the health and productivity of their families and communities, as well as the chances for future generations.

Discrimination against women and girls remains the most pervasive and persistent form of inequality, including gender-based violence, economic discrimination, reproductive health disparities, and harmful traditional practises. During and after humanitarian emergencies, particularly armed conflicts, women and girls face enormous hardship.

They typically have less access to medical care, property ownership, credit, training, and employment than men do. They are far less likely than men to be politically active and far more likely to be victims of domestic violence.

Equality between men and women exists when both sexes are able to share equally in the distribution of power and influence; have equal opportunities for financial independence through work or through setting up businesses; enjoy equal access to education and the opportunity to develop personal ambitions.

The first step towards women empowerment is educating a girl child. It is said that when you educate a woman, you educate the whole society. With good education, girls can get high paying jobs and consequently wage gaps could be lowered. Increased health awareness prevents early pregnancy and malnutrition. When women have more freedom, they can involve in unexplored areas like politics.

Marine Plastic Pollution

Plastic is a synthetic organic polymer made from petroleum, and has wide uses in packaging, building, construction and household materials. If you look around, you will easily be able to spot a plastic item, be it sports equipment or electrical devices.  Yes, plastic is used everywhere and is very important because of its lightweight structure and malleable properties.  But here is the flipside to it.

Nearly 300 million tons of plastic is produced every year, with half of it being used to make single-use items such as shopping bags, toothbrush and straws. Even a bag of chips is made of plastic and is discarded as soon as the chips are consumed. Now get this. About 8 million tons of plastic end up in our oceans every year. Water plastic makes up 80% of all marine debris.

Plastic can be present in surface waters as well as deep sea sediments. If you thought deep sea trenches could escape plastic, you are in for a surprise. A plastic bag, one that you give away in a grocery store, was found in the Mariana Trench at depths of 10,975 meters (36,000 feet).

Plastic poses a threat to marine life. Hundreds of marine species ingest the plastic debris which can cause lacerations and injuries. Entanglement and suffocation of fishes and other organisms are a major cause of death.  Plastic, when incinerated leads to emissions of carbon dioxide, which increases the temperature of the atmosphere. This leads to global warming, a threat prevalent in all parts of the world, especially the Polar Regions, which are witnessing rapid melting of glaciers and increase in the water level in oceans.  Plastic waste threatens food quality and health, and also affects coastal tourism.

In these times, governments of several different countries are taking steps to tackle this threat of marine plastic pollution. Equipped with research, technology and innovation, one can slowly but surely reduce the overall plastic consumption.

One interesting project which occurred recently was introduced by the World Bank. They invited youth all across India to take a deep dive into the problems of mismanaged plastic waste and come up with innovative ideas to counter the tide. Well, the response was overwhelming. Every team came up with brilliant ideas that were very realistic and could be implemented on a larger scale. Read ahead to find out about a few of the interesting projects.

Ecopod- a solution proposed by Team Iota, which won first place, talked about the use of plastic for packaging of personal toiletries and how much plastic waste it amounted to. The team presented a single use, plastic free shampoo, conditioner and body wash solution via disposable pellets.  Ensuring a 37.5 percent reduction in bottled personal shampoos and toiletries and an 80% reduction in CO2 emissions, bottled toiletries might well be water under the bridge if Ecopods were to take off.

Second place winners-team INACTUS, developed a project about building sustainable toilets with plastic bottles stuffed with waste. Both these projects also focused on providing employment to women in rural areas, hence employing the women workforce towards a global cause.

This is a global problem, which can only be solved if all the countries come together, and address these issues. When companies, industries work towards minimum plastic usage as an achievable goal and people voice their opinions on this pressing issue. When people understand the importance of the oceans and reducing plastic consumption, only then will we be able to see a measurable outcome.

WHICH IS IMPORTANT HEALTH OR EXAM?

Article on Women Empowerment

What is women empowerment? Everyone has this question in mind, even I too have the same question in mind. We may think that it’s just a right for women. No, it’s a “RIGHT” for women. There are some sayings that women should not raise their voice against men, women should not laugh loudly, if a woman laughs too much and the flavor of tobacco is gone when it is opened. These are all unwanted things and we have to freed them from these barriers.

Actually the proverb if a woman laughs too much and the flavor of tobacco is gone when it is opened means when a women laughs after her puberty she is ready to marry, when the curled tobacco leaf is opened the tobacco is able to sell is the exact meaning. But in our society they have changed these and criticize women.

When I went to a shop to buy a dress with my family, I laughed in common that too I just did a mild smile for a comment which was given by my brother, my dad scolds me that not to laugh in a common place. I accept this that should not laugh in public but he says that all the men will watch so you should not laugh this is unacceptable.

If they provide education alone is not women empowerment they have to freed women without saying that you are a girl. Like Men the society should say “YOU ARE A GIRL” with proud feeling, that is women empowerment in my point of view.

“EFFECT OF DEPRESSION ON BODY AND MIND”

“EFFECT OF DEPRESSION ON BODY AND MIND”

Depression is found in people of all ages these days in India. Many reasons can be behind it but the effects of depression on the human body and mind are unquestionably drastic.Every other person nowadays is stress-induced and unfortunately, the issue is still not given much thought. Our own close friends and family members are going through the phases of depression and we still simply ignore the problem. We ignore the clear signs of mental stress and consider them some temporary signs and mood swings. But gradually the stress and anxiety take a person to the unchartered mental state from where the return is not possible.A person living with some depression will show signs like mood swings, consistent feeling of sadness, guilt and regret, indecisiveness, bipolar attitude, uncontrollable tears, loss of appetite, uninterested in physical activities and will to isolate, insomnia, sleep deprivation, hesitant to change clothes or take bath and continuous suicidal thoughts.Starting from stress and leading to depression there are many physical and mental changes in a person. Depressed people change their appetite unconsciously. Either they start eating too much or they avoid eating. It results in weight loss or weight gain. According to research, most depressed people start eating too much food and gain weight which ultimately develops high blood pressure or diabetes type 2. Some people lose their appetite and do not anything for the whole day. They may become too weak which may lead to stomach problems like cramps, constipation, stomachaches or malnutrition.Chronic pain is the severe stage of depression when a person starts feeling pain in joints and muscles or consistent headaches or breast tenderness. These unexplained pains must be taken very seriously and the person must consult a doctor immediately.A depressed person develops a negative mindset and it may lead to paranoia. The person constantly thinks that people around are trying to harm him. He will always remain in deep thoughts and stress. Ultimately it results in diabetes and diabetes results in heart disease. Therefore, depression can even lead to a heart attack. One out of the five most common reasons for heart failure or coronary disease is suffering from depression.People with depression are either sleep deprived or they sleep for too long. A sleep-deprived person tends to develop insomnia. They always feel exhausted and even they do not sleep at night, still, they do nothing but think of negative thoughts. They start taking sleeping pills which have their own side effects. Moreover, if someone is suffering from chronic illness and develops depression, then there is a chance that the disease can get severe.Other effects of chronic depression are the contraction of diseases like blood pressure, hypertension, diabetes, kidneys, and heart problems. Apart from mental deteriorations and internal diseases, depression also affects a person physically; the color of skin gets pale, eyes get dark circles, wrinkles start appearing, hair starts snubbing, skin becomes brittle and the weight loss leads to weakness and pale appearance.

“DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE HOSPITALS”

“DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE HOSPITALS”

Public hospitals mostly are not equipped with basic healthcare facilities and they are poorly managed and provide poor treatment to the patients. These hospitals are preferred mostly by the poor because they cannot afford private hospitals due to their expensive treatments. Private hospitals, on the other hand, facilitate their patients with full resources according to their needs. They are equipped with all the required machinery and they have specialist doctors to give proper treatment.Patients of public hospitals suffer in many ways like; the hospitals lack specialist doctors and the patients may end up getting treated by an inexperienced doctor. Moreover, they wait for too long in a waiting line for their turn. Sometimes many of them return home without their check-up. Then comes the problem of medicines, public hospitals are regarded for their provision of free medicines to poor patients. Unfortunately, this is not the case everywhere and due to corruption and mismanagement, they lack even basic medicine. Many times, doctors in public hospitals ask their patients to continue the treatment from their own private clinics. There they prescribe private tests and expensive medicines for their commissions from private laboratories and pharmaceutical companies.Whereas, private hospitals are famous for their highly expensive treatment. Only the rich can afford them. Highly qualified and specialist doctors are seated there. These highly qualified doctors are paid high wages. They have highly qualified specialists who studied in foreign countries. Patients of these hospitals find no need to wait in lines and they do not suffer from any extreme weather conditions. Hospitals have uninterrupted electricity and are equipped with air conditioners and heaters. Moreover, the hygienic environment of the hospital is exemplary.Another issue with government hospitals is their unhygienic environment. The pungent smell of medicine is everywhere and insects are found crawling on each wall. Load shedding is common. More than 1 patient is found lying on the same bed. The same syringe is used many times and all these issues lead to the spread of many more diseases.Although government hospitals provide treatments at very low rates, these hospitals are in drastically bad conditions. Whereas, private hospitals have an ideal and completely clean environment with all the facilities provided.Though private hospitals facilitate patients in all ways, their charges are too high that even the middle-class person cannot afford to have a simple check-up from here. This is a sad state of affairs of a country that is primarily a poor country. The common men are the ones who suffer. When they get to a public hospital to get treated the mismanagement and deplorable conditions make them even more ill and when they go to a private hospital, they get better but they cannot afford the treatment. Sadly, the common man is not seeing it in terms of the difference between public and private hospitals. He is dying of ill-treatment and the rich man is enjoying all the facilities.

MY GRAND MOTHER’S HOUSE – by Kamala Das

The poem My Grandmother’s House was written by Kamala Das was an Indian poet in English as well as author in Malayalam from Kerala. She was famous for her many Malayalam short stories as well as many poems written in English. This poem My Grand mother’s house first appeared in Kamala Das’s first anthology of verse with the title of “Summer Time in Calcutta”. It is also an autobiographical poem because the poet says her love on her grandmother. It takes back the poet to her childhood, where she lived securely and happily with her grandmother in her house.

“there is a house now far away where once I received love……”
In the above lines the poet combines the present and past that the house in a present form and the love she received in a past form. Her grandmother’s house was the place where she was loved immensely by her grandmother. She was broken that her grandmother’s house was damaged.

“That women died,
The house withdrew into silence…….”
In the above lines the poet feels that when her grandmother died, the beauty of the house was all ruined. The house became silence and snakes where roaming all around the house. She was emotionally imbalanced on the death of her grandmother.

“How often I think of going……..
………
Dog……”
In the above lines the poet says that she often visits her grandmother’s house to remember the happiest moment with her grandmother. The poet says her relationship with her grandmother with the example of dog that how a dog is loved by it’s owner and also the dog roam with his owner an always stays with it’s owner.

“Can you…..
………
Receive love at least in small change”
In the above lines she says that how she was loved by her grandmother in the house and how she was proud to live in such a house with love and affection. She says that now the poet is begging for the had in her life through her grandmother.

Impact of COVID-19 in India and the Global Economy.

As per the official government guidelines, India is making preparations against the COVID-19 outbreak, and avoiding specific crisis actions or not understating its importance will have extremely severe implications. All the neighboring countries of India have reported positive COVID-19 cases. To protect against the deadly virus, the Indian government have taken necessary and strict measures, including establishing health check posts between the national borders to test whether people entering the country have the virus (17). Different countries have introduced rescue efforts and surveillance measures for citizens wishing to return from China. The lesson learned from the SARS outbreak was first that the lack of clarity and information about SARS weakened China’s global standing and hampered its economic growth (101820). The outbreak of SARS in China was catastrophic and has led to changes in health care and medical systems (1820). Compared with China, the ability of India to counter a pandemic seems to be much lower. A recent study reported that affected family members had not visit the Wuhan market in China, suggesting that SARS-CoV-2 may spread without manifesting symptoms (21). Researchers believe that this phenomenon is normal for many viruses. India, with a population of more than 1.34 billion—the second largest population in the world—will have difficulty treating severe COVID-19 cases because the country has only 49,000 ventilators, which is a minimal amount. If the number of COVID-19 cases increases in the nation, it would be a catastrophe for India (22). It would be difficult to identify sources of infection and those who come in contact with them. This would necessitate multiple strategies to handle the outbreak, including computational modeling as well as statistical and quantitative analyses, to rapidly develop new vaccines and drug treatments. With such a vast population, India’s medical system is grossly inadequate. A study has shown that, owing to inadequate medical care systems, nearly 1 million people die every year in India (23). India is also engaged in trading with its nearby countries, such as Bangladesh, Bhutan, Pakistan, Myanmar, China, and Nepal. During the financial year 2017–18 (FY2017–18), Indian regional trade amounted to nearly $12 billion, accounting for only 1.56% of its total global trade value of $769 billion. The outbreak of such viruses and their transmission would significantly affect the Indian economy. The outbreak in China could profoundly affect the Indian economy, especially in the sectors of electronics, pharmaceuticals, and logistics operations, as trade ports with China are currently closed. This was further supported by the statement by Suyash Choudhary, Head—Fixed Income, IDFC AMC, stating that GDP might decrease owing to COVID-19 (24).

Economists assume that the impact of COVID-19 on the economy will be high and negative when compared with the SARS impact during 2003. For instance, it has been estimated that the number of tourists arriving in China was much higher than that of tourists who traveled during the season when SARS emerged in 2003. This shows that COVID-19 has an effect on the tourism industry. It has been estimated that, for SARS, there was a 57 and 45% decline in yearly rail passenger and road passenger traffic, respectively (25). Moreover, when compared with the world economy 15 years ago, world economies are currently much more inter-related. It has been estimated that COVID-19 will hurt emerging market currencies and also impact oil prices (2628). From the retail industry’s perspective, consumer savings seem to be high. This might have an adverse effect on consumption rates, as all supply chains are likely to be affected, which in turn would have its impact on supply when compared with the demand of various necessary product items (29). This clearly proves that, based on the estimated losses due to the effect of SARS on tourism (retail sales lost around USD 12–18 billion and USD 30–100 billion was lost at a global macroeconomic level), we cannot estimate the impact of COVID-19 at this point. This will be possible only when the spread of COVID-19 is fully controlled. Until that time, any estimates will be rather ambiguous and imprecise (19). The OECD Interim economic assessment has provided briefing reports highlighting the role of China in the global supply chain and commodity markets. Japan, South Korea, and Australia are the countries that are most susceptible to adverse effects, as they have close ties with China. It has been estimated that there has been a 20% decline in car sales, which was 10% of the monthly decline in China during January 2020. This shows that even industrial production has been affected by COVID-19. So far, several factors have thus been identified as having a major economic impact: labor mobility, lack of working hours, interruptions in the global supply chain, less consumption, and tourism, and less demand in the commodity market at a global level (30), which in turn need to be adequately analyzed by industry type. Corporate leaders need to prioritize the supply chain and product line economy trends via demand from the consumer end. Amidst several debates on sustainable economy before the COVID-19 impact, it has now been estimated that India’s GDP by the International Monetary Fund has been cut down to 1.9% from 5.8% for the FY21. The financial crisis that has emerged owing to the worldwide lockdown reflects its adverse effect on several industries and the global supply chain, which has resulted in the GDP dropping to 4.2% for FY20, which was previously estimated at 4.8%. Nevertheless, it has been roughly estimated that India and China will be experiencing considerable positive growth among other major economies (31).

PRIDE AND PREJUDICE by Jane Austen – Book review

Jane Austen (December 1775 – July 1817) was an English novelist. The plots of her novel were often based on the situation of women; how their social and economic status totally depended on the family they are married to. She used social commentary, humor and realism to express her thoughts. Her works were approximately based on her social background. The books that she wrote were highly influenced by moral issues.

Pride and Prejudice, published in 1813, is one of the most recognized works of Jane Austen. The story revolves around Elizabeth Bennet (Lizzy) and how her character changes and develops through. It is a romantic comedy about how a man and woman surrender their pride and prejudice and come to realize their feelings for each other. It also shows how in the 1800, the only way to lead a decent and content life a woman had to marry in a rich house.

Elizabeth is the second oldest daughter out of five of the Bennet family. The Bennet family is a combination of both silly and wise personalities. Mrs. Bennet is a lady of uncertain temper and mean understanding. Jane, the oldest daughter, was very beautiful comparatively among the five. Elizabeth, on the other hand, was quick-minded, cultured and wise. Mary was fond of reading while Catharine and Lydia spent their time flirting with youngmen, especially militia. Mr. Bennet, was the owner of Longbourn state, but he had no son but five daughters. Accordingly, the property would be inherited by a cousin of his leaving the daughters economically unstable. Mrs. Bennet was always keen to find a suitable and wealthy gentleman to marry at least one of her daughters off. It was a matter of great importance as at least one of the five needs to be economically stable to help the others. Elizabeth, considered the wisest, is often ashamed of her mother’s sheepish behavior.

The events take place when the Bingley’s arrive in Hertfordshire where the Bennets reside. The daughter of Bennets and Mr. Bingley were introduced at a ball dance party. Mr. Bingley is attracted to Jane at their first meeting. While Mr. Darcy is a close friend of Mr. Bingley who is also present in the party. Darcy is usually an attractive person but is full of pride and haughtiness. Elizabeth gets provoked by Darcy’s comment on her claiming that she wasn’t pretty enough to dance with him. However, he falls for her wisdom and quick mindedness. Mr. Bingley begins to fall in love with Jane and Jane too. However, Mr. Darcy is logical and believes that Jane is after his money and so plays a role in separating them. The Bennets give up the hope of Jane’s marriage to Mr. Bingley and are disappointed, especially Mrs. Bennet whose aim in life is to marry her daughters.

Mr. Collins and Mr. Wickham can be considered the antagonists who have created more toil in Elizabeth’s life. The Bingley sisters are no less; they carried a superior behavior towards Elizabeth. Mr. Wickham first shows interest towards Lizzy filling her up with hatred towards Darcy but then engages someone else. Wickham later elopes with Lydia, the youngest daughter of Bennets.  Later demands money to marry her and they have to do the same to save their reputation. Among these events Elizabeth is proposed to by Mr. Darcy and she, ignorant of the truth and full of hatred towards him, refuses him coldly. However, she later comes to know the true character of Mr. Wickham and Mr. Darcy, and regrets her past actions and prejudices.

The novel provides the reader cognizance through the chapters. It is a piece of reading which is more meaningful and worthy of learning than just entertainment. We learn more while reading it instead of getting a lesson at the end. It shows how even a sharp minded woman is dependent on her spouse to lead a good life. Not only this, but it gives us some life lessons and a new view to someone’s personality.

But to expose the former faults of any person without knowing what their present feelings were, seemed unjustifiable.
– Jane

Doing things we don’t mean to and ending up hurting others. We can never judge a person by what we hear from others.

It is very often nothing but our own vanity that deceives us.
– Jane

One can never be perfect. There is always room to improve. Too much pride may make us blind at times. There are times we skip the options that are right for us by underestimating them.

The novel contains a not rushed story with tons of valuable lessons.

A Simple guide to jee

a new perspective

Getting into iit is considered to be “the job” to be done. As they say, ‘the best time to start preparing for jee is when you were born”, quite funny and hypothetical but the problem with views and opinion like these which keep floating around in our society and neighborhood is that even though they are obnoxious in certain way but everyone knows that they form a certain basis in reality. Why is it so hard? or is it really that hard?

Not because the portion is vast or questions are hard or competition is vast or anything like that, it is just that there is so much clutter and complexity around the whole preparation journey and methodology that it becomes extremely difficult for one to find a way around it whole and reach the set target. There are too many loops and strings to deal with when going through the standard methodized way at least for a normal person. So, what must be our take on it from the beginning or even from the midst, what must be our attitude and mindset regarding the whole thing. Well this article will help you get clarity about the whole picture as a part of personal experience and as a perspective to view it in a more rationalist and realist point of view so at least there will be a new approach to try out to make a difference.

So here is a comprehensive guide:____

  1. Just stop the rush towards fancy books

It is seen that whenever a new book comes out in the market or a popular new book whose name comes out of a popular youtuber, students rush for it. And then everybody has it and then it just sits on the rack and it is never opened again for the rest of the years after the initial day’s energy and excitement vanishes. Really there is no need to pay attention to these kinds of fancy books or materials or notes. Just stick to what you have. Nobody is distributing extra marks for buying new books.

  1. Stick to what you have till end

At times there is an overwhelming feeling that what we carry is not as good as what the topper is carrying or it is not the best out there but one must understand that it simply doesn’t have to be. It is good enough and even if it is not, changing it or replacing it constantly or rarely would not help either, beat it. We don’t have to change it, we have to improve it, have trust in them, revise them and keep improving them. Using that same notebook, seeing that same handwriting over and over day in and day out and then adding things to it as our knowledge grows is the right way to go.

  1. Implementation is all that matters

It doesn’t matter what you learned in the fanciest coaching of India, neither does it make much of a difference how much literature, theories, formulas or examples you have stored in your mind. What matters is the implementation, practice and application in the real world.

Practising questions over and over and over is what gives you mastery of any topic or chapter. From fluid motion to elasticity to rotation , from linear equation to calculus , form atomic structures to coordinate bonds, everything can become as easy as solving newton’s laws of linear motion question , but they need to be practised in real time on notebook. They need to be written and practised over and over until it becomes second nature and that is when that chapter or topic can be left for end revisions.

  1. Revision and keeping up with what is going on in formal syllabus

Keep doing the revision of the topics which are finished in the past. Two months old or a year old, revise them to keep grip on them or else you will lose the grip over them. And it would be even harder to make a grasp on future topics. And also never fall back behind the formal syllabus pace. Keeping up with the syllabus should be the first priority. That said, there are a lot more things to it but these above mentioned are the ones that needs to be taken care of most, rest falls in its place with time as your understanding grows.

‘Still I Rise’ by Maya Angelou

When we aren’t confident about ourselves, we definitely can’t win anything in our life. Are you scorned, oppressed, and belittled? Want a little bit of confidence boost? Then the poem ‘Still I Rise’ by Maya Angelou is for you.

People may picture you however they want. They may lie about you, spread rumors, and pull you down to gutters but you should never give in to such slanders. Even if they make you look dirty, like a dust which never settles down, you ought to rise.

You may trod me in the very dirt

But still, like dust, I’ll rise.

People, who talk ill about you, do so because they are blinded by petty emotions like jealousy and insecurity. They may not like you when you differ from the crowd and when you are being yourself while they cannot. You may find your happiness in small things and this might irritate them. So, they might try to bring down your confidence, even then you must rise.

Why are you beset with gloom?

’Cause I walk like I’ve got oil wells

Pumping in my living room.

And, when you rise, rise like the sun or the moon, which rises everyday without fail with its fullest radiance. Like the tides which hit the shore with certainty and hope which springs higher in the darkest times, you too should rise. You know why you should rise? Simply because everyone is watching. They want to see you broken, shoulders fallen, heads down, kneeling and desperately crying at misfortunes. So, rise beyond expectations.

They may label you haughty when you differ and might be offended when you laugh happily. Even though they slander you, belittle, treat you indifferently and hatefully, you must rise like air which sees no confines.

You may shoot me with your words,

You may cut me with your eyes,

You may kill me with your hatefulness,

But still, like air, I’ll rise.

They will be jealous and afraid of you rising, and so they will try to pull you down. But you must rise. People oppress others based on economic conditions, race, ancestry, and color. Even then you must rise.

Out of the huts of history’s shame

I rise

Up from a past that’s rooted in pain

I rise

I’m a black ocean, leaping and wide,

Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.

The poetess was strongly fighting against the oppression of black people and women. People of her race were ill treated and subjugated. She, the black ocean, is resolute to send tides of opposition against such oppressions. Though she had suffered and lived painfully, she will march into daybreak, proud of her identity that her ancestors had given her, and will rise and rise and rise.

Leaving behind nights of terror and fear

I rise

Into a daybreak that’s wondrously clear

I rise

Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,

I am the dream and the hope of the slave.

I rise

I rise

I rise.

Hence, never let yourself be held back by restraints and limitations. You are you and be confident about yourself. If you do so, you shall also rise.

Intellectual property policy of india

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

According to World intellectual property organisation (WIPO) patent is an exclusive right granted for an innovation which is a product or process that provides, in general a new way of doing something or offers a new technical solution to a problem. To get a patent, technical information about the invention must be disclosed to the public in a patent application. It provides the patent owner the exclusive right to prevent others from commercially exploiting the patented invention. Since patents are territorial rights they are applicable within the boundaries of a country in which the patent application has been filed and granted.

Historically patent law in India can be traced back to Indian patents and design act, 1911. Other intellectual property laws which followed this act include copyrights act 1957, Patents act 1970, trademark act 1999, design Act 2000, geographical indication of goods act 1999, protection of plant varieties and farmers right Act 2001, and semiconductors and integrated layout design Act 2000. Many of the above mentioned acts were amended subsequently to align them with international norms. These laws cater to different intellectual properties like patent, copyright, trademarks, industrial design, plant varieties etc.

India amended its intellectual property legislations in 2005 to be abreast with TRIPS regulations. Patent Act 1970 (amended in 2005) has the following features-

1. Section 2 of the 1970 act defines invention as a new product or process involving an inventive step and capable of industrial application. It defines inventive step as a feature of an invention that involves technical advance as compared to the existing knowledge or having economic significance or both and that makes the invention not obvious to a person skilled in the art.

2. The act enlists the inventions which are not patentable; persons who are entitled to apply for patents; application procedure; publication and examination of applications and various other provisions pertaining to patents.

3. It states that term of patent will be 20 years and ever-greening of patents is not admissible.

4. Patentees have certain rights and it is defined in section 48 of the act. The purpose of these rights is to prevent third parties from using the product or the process with commercial intent. The rights of Co-owners of patents are also mentioned.

5. Patents can be surrendered and revoked and the provisions are stated under section 63 and section 64. The first compulsory license was granted in 2012 to Hyderabad based Natco pharma for the production of generic version of Bayer’s Nexavar, an anti cancer agent.

Need for a strong IP policy

The patent act of India is in line with international standards and international best practices. The amendment of 2005 completed this process of aligning the act with TRIPS. This makes India a strong candidate to fight for its intellectual property. As an ode to this development India won the Basmati rice patent case and the turmeric case. A strong domestic intellectual property policy and awareness can bring economic laurels to India. Post 2005 amendment, a comprehensive act defining procedures and methods of dispute resolution in case of opposition proceedings to grant patents and anticipation has been made available to Indians. Government has spread awareness about intellectual property and the need to register it timely. Initiatives like traditional knowledge digital library (TKDL) further strengthen India’s game in intellectual property. The most recent development in the field of IPR is the abolition of intellectual property appellate board. The high courts will be taking over the function of addressing the appeals.

New ideas in tandem with the culture influences can make India a hotspot of innovation. Fermenting new ideas is an untapped strength of India. Hence a robust and updated intellectual policy is a must to harness these assets to the fullest.

The Innards Hormones In The Brain Of Teenagers…

Everything is theoretically impossible, until it is done !

~ Robert A Heinlein

A hormone is the signaling molecule fabricated by discrete glands in multi- celled organisms. In order to reach the aloof organs, it agents through the circulatory system. This in turn model the attitude and physiology. Neurotransmitters like hormones are agile. In myriad (several) processes. In- spite of hormones makes one way through the blood stream, it impacts only undeniable for some tissues and organs. The hormones are generally grouped into three types:

  • amines (molecules)
  • amino acids (peptides + proteins)
  • cholesterol (steroids)

How to harmonize the pH of the hormone stock solution? Which is amenable for thyroid disease?

By filter sterilization, most hormones are added to the medium. Iodine is necessary for the fabrication of thyroxine hormone by thyroid gland. The inadequacy of iodine in the diet will materialize less thyroxine hormone. This in turn evoke into goiter (swelling of neck). Some of the hormones that cascade out in an adolescent brain are stress hormone, sex hormone, and growth hormone. These all in turn are responsible for the development of the brain growth. The mood swings that they experience with is because of undulation in estrogen, testosterone, and progesterone. The teen brain will be able to learn and adapt for all the things that they face. Since the brain of the teenagers are flexible in nature, it could be able to swap, adapt and retort to the surroundings. Some exigent activities, exercises could help the brain to get matured and get mastered by learning.

What are the changes that are notified in an individual when there’s an insufficient supply to teenage hormone?

More prone to sensitivity, often bowel movements, dry skin, weight loss, weakness of the muscle, frequent urination. But the teenage hormones balance out between the ages 8 – 14.

Whether the brain continues to mature even after it is done growing?

Despite of being developed completely in its size, the brain’s growth will not stop and i will continue to grow until the mid or late twenties. The prefrontal cortex gets matured at-last in the teenagers’ brain and it’s responsible for skills like planning/ taking a decision, prioritizing something by comparing, and controlling impulses. Despite the potential of the decision they are taking, they would have a risky behaviors. Many cognitive abilities like even controlling for the attention, reply on the proper functioning of a part of the brain called the pre- frontal cortex. But the pre- frontal cortex undergoes massive structural changes during adolescence, and it’s one of the last brain areas to get matured completely.

Is the teen brains may or may not be vulnerable to stress?

Compared to adults, the teens are more vulnerable towards stress due to the progression of brain development. These stress conditions may lead to depression, mental disorders, anxiety, etc. Being in the cognizance state, the teenagers could overcome the stress and get cope in their personal and professional life. During the adolescence stage only, many of the mental disorders start to appear. These alternatives happening inside the brain, not only affects the emotions, but also the physical and social changes of the individual in the society. This may also accompany with health related issues.

When you’re in your twenties, your brain hasn’t even finished baking, and your hormones are giving you all kinds of direction of which ways to go.”

Unity in Diversity

Unity and harmony are the two sides of the same coin and go hand in hand. Harmonious intermingling is the ability wherein different elements, creatively adjust under all circumstances. India is the best example in this context. It is the only country in the world where people from different cultures, backgrounds, mode of living, worshipping different gods come and still believe that they are the children of one motherland , mother India.

An important aspect of the Indian society is the coexistence of various ethnic groups. They have formulated an inter group behaviour. Hence, there is no mutual interference and also no merging of their identity. As a result, different cultures have blended together bringing unity amongst the people

In the current scenario, we the people of India proved that these statements of unity not only exist in the words but also in actions. In this most drastic situation of pandemic , various people regardless of their culture, religion, etc came in the frontlines to help each other in every possible manner whether in terms of feeding or providing medical facilities.

So, we should be proud enough to be a part of this land and be one of those peace loving people who never get tired of being kind.

YOUTH ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION.

“LIFE IS PRECIOUS,VALUE IT”.

INDIA homes a large majority of the YOUTH in the world compared to any other country! Due to this, it won’t be wrong to say that India’s future lies in the Youth’s hands today. But here arises the most important question that:

“ARE THEY AWARE OF THIS”?

“DO THEY UNDERSTAND THIS”? The Answer is Not Many! Today, they are facing a Crisis, more than any other time or Era.That is ALCOHOL ADDICTIONS. ALCOHOL is a drug of choice among youth. Regardless of the repurcussions, they are consuming it and even getting addicted. The rate at which they are consuming it has no bounds at all. Besides, the youth of today’s era thinks it as having fun. The rate of their alcohol consumption have been increasing steadily, and that brings multiple heath concerns along with it. Damaging of sense organs, Impacting Liver, Suicides, our mental health and many more. Unlimited Consumption also leads to accidents due to Rash driving while drinking. The CONSTITUTION OF INDIA has given us many major freedoms due to which one has full freedom to do what he/she wants. But at the same time it has also placed some restrictions. That means you can enjoy your Full freedom but only till you are not affecting someone’s else’s freedom. You cannot do anything as you please, while drinking, as it affects the people and functioning of our society as well. Many young people are experiencing the consequences of alcohol consumption too much, at too early an age. As a result, Youth Alcohol consumption has become a public problem in our country. But the astonishing fact is that why do they drink? What can they achieve by drinking Alcohol? Well, the answer won’t be that hard to guess. As children move from Adolescence to young adulthood, they experience dramatic, physical, mental, and emotional feelings. Some handles them preety well. But for those who cannot even understand what is happening in and around their lives, ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION BECOMES THE ANSWER. Due to hormonal changes, puberty the ones who cannot stand up to this rough world, ALCOHOL BECOMES THIER ESCAPE. ESCAPE FROM REALITIES OF LIFE, ESCAPE FROM THIER FEELINGS, ESCAPE FROM THEIR FAMILIES, FRIENDS, THEIR LIFESTYLES, Everything!

The youth becomes the most vulnerable part of society to Alcohol. Especially- the students in high schools and colleges. In order to try new and adventurous things, or under peer pressure or many a times taking initiative on their own, they get caught into the vicious cycle of alcohol consumption unknowingly and innocently. Gradually, they get habitual and with time they seem to enjoy it. They get addicted, and the fact is sometimes some enjoy it! They enjoy being Addicted. But by the time they realise, it gets too late for them to break away without any outside help. In all this process everything and everyone in society gets affected. Sometimes, the addict struggles all alone even if he wants to break free but his addiction does not let him do so and resultantly he fails in all his attempts. A continuous intake of Alcohol results in an overpowering desire or compulsion to continue taking it and to obtain it by any means. They get so addictive that they can do anything for it. This results in many crimes like Robbery, Murder, Threats and many more!

Thus, it is high time people and the youth understand the importance of LIFE and starts valuing it and taking it more seriously. Alcohol consumption today is a major social problem which, though concerns an individual but ,in turn, affects the society at large. It is a widespread and critical problem not only in India but also Western societies and has become a matter of grave concern. Thus, this should be controlled and major steps should be taken by not only higher authorities but by the youths themselves towards their health and future. As their is a famous saying: GOD HELPS THOSE, WHO HELP THEMSELVES!

The Forgotten Identity

The books have always taught us that we youngsters are the future generation of India. According to research, this fact is not entirely true. We youngsters do not represent the entire generation in India. There is another commodity, living far away from the reach of the powerful media. They are the rich generation of India’s Adivasi (tribal) communities. Adivasis make up eight percent of India’s population. They stand as an unknown identity of our nation altho their rich culture has always contributed to the diversity of India.

The tribes in India form a significant part of the total population. As the new technologies emerged and India took a step forward to development, these tribes started drowning in the crisis. The law ignores that they are the citizens of our country; there are numerous contradictions about reservation, yet there is no answer that will improve their condition. The tribals are facing several serious problems. The major among these are poor economic conditions. Most of the tribals lead a life of poverty and hardships. As they lead a

nomadic life, their children don’t get formal education. Most of the tribal people do not have adequate money to start their ventures. The banks are not prepared to lend them because they keep moving around from place to place. The other major problem faced by our tribals is that they do not live at proper places where they have access to water, sanitation, transportation, and other facilities necessary for their growth. Apart from the financial loss during this lockdown, brutal acts against humanity have come into notice. A 13-year-old girl from tribal-dominated Sundargarh district in Odisha, on a fine day, decided to go and visit a nearby fair in the Biramitrapur area on 25th marc. A sudden lockdown got announced, and the fair got canceled, and the little girl left stranded in the area wanting to go home but no reasonable means to do so. After some while, she was spotted by patrolling police. She was brought to the police station by the cops. She got raped by the very inspector in charge of the police station Anand Chandra Majhi. Since that day, she was repeatedly summoned to the police station and raped again and again. The girl got pregnant, and the cops with her stepfather conducted an abortion at a local community clinic. A protection officer filed a complaint against the officers, the doctor, and the stepfather. The inquiry is still pending; as usual, it was difficult to find this detailed report of this barbaric crime which was supposed to be the national headline. Also, a disturbing video of a tribal girl brutally thrashed, by her family members, allegedly for eloping with a man from her village was found on social media. In the viral video, a man is holding both the hands of the girl, while two other men thrash her repeatedly. MS Bhabhor, Superintendent of Police, Chhota Udepur district told that the victim was a 16-year-old woman, a resident of Rangpur village in the district. Local news reports confirmed that the incident was from Chhota Udepur district in Gujarat and that the girl belongs to a tribal family. The reports further said that the teenager was beaten in public by her family members for allegedly eloping with a man from the village.

If you are wondering why you should contribute towards their development, Here is why-The first and the most important reason is that dignity of all communities should be respected and no community should be living in such harsh conditions like these tribes. Secondly, the tribal communities have consistently contributed to the diverse culture of the country. They are experts in wildlife and nature conservation, know various sustainable agriculture and living practices ethnomedicine, and have a rich culture of stories, literature, art, and dance forms. So why not protect our culture?

Also, they help to protect our environment. fight climate change and build resilience to natural disasters. These people have continued to experience extreme acts of inhumanity mentioned above. The contradictions continue to evolve for ages, yet no significant improvement has come into notice. Gandhiji coined a term for them – Harijans yet we treat them like they are the lowest rung of the society. Remember when you bestow respect for the tribal communities you offer honor towards your nation.

Health is Wealth

“Health is Wealth”. We should never forget that our health is a real wealth of the life . A good health reduces the stress level and we will have a healthy life without any sufferings. We live in a super fast busy time where one forgets to take care of himself because of his work. We forget to take healthy food in correct time. We forget to do exercise and some do not rest properly . These all will affect our body and we get many diseases. We should always take care of our health. We should eat healthy foods like green vegetables, salads ,fruits, milk etc.

Good health also needs physical exercise, proper sleep ,rest. We can stay healthy when we do these things. In early days life was so simple and they were free from challenges compared to now. Now a days many get affected by different diseases and they become weak often. In those days there were healthy people and their environment was also healthy. They were healthy because they did some of their activities by themselves. But in these days many technology has developed. It made people lazy and unhealthy. Now a days life is not easy as one get money when he sits in office for 8-9 hrs. There will be no physical movement and they become tired when they return home. They just live their daily routine to earn money and they become weak. It is important to have money but it is more important to have peaceful and healthy life. One should stay healthy and he should be fit in his life . Health is measured in three major meters: Physical, Psychological and Nutritional. Physical health is the appearance of a person. Psychological health means the ability in a person to maintain patience, calm. Nutritional health means the nutrients in their body to fight against disease with immunity. Many feel depressed when they don’t get want they want. Due to that many mental and physical problem occurs. Obesity and lack of physical fitness sets the stage for diabetes and serious health problems. Walking, running, cycling, playing, swimming, yoga are some of the activities which can maintain our fitness and lifestyle. One who is mentally and physically fit is strong enough to face ups and downs in his life. Eating healthy food, sleep and avoiding intake of harmful substance are some of the few ways to be healthy. Good health is not something we can buy. But it is a valuable savings account. BEING HEALTHY IS BEING HAPPY! What we eat is what we get. If we eat healthy food we will be healthy but if we eat junk food we will be sick. Eating good foods can have many amount of benefits in our life. Doing things to make you feel good are important to being healthy. Being healthy is not just eating good foods. There are many ways to have a healthy life. Being happy and positive will help our body and mind to feel fresh and we will be healthy is one way. Eating good food, exercising, and doing things that make us happy are some good habits. They have positive effects on our mind and body to make us happy.

STAY PASSIONATE!

Nothing great has ever been achieved without passion. It is a feeling of intense enthusiasm towards or compelling desire for someone or something. Passion can range from eager interest in or admiration for an idea, proposal, or cause; to enthusiastic enjoyment of an interest or activity; to strong attraction, excitement, or emotion towards a person.Yes, all stories of success have one common element in it called passion. Passion for what they want to achieve, enough passion to keep their eye from wandering away from the goal. It is that total passion that finally takes them to their goal of their choice. But what is it? Is created or followed? No doubt passion is created by an individual. It is something that you do with care and love. Something that brings you joy at the moment of doing it, that makes you forget about time and have a focus on that particular object, work or hobby etc., It is also a strong feeling of enthusiasm and excitement. Passion is the energy that comes from bringing more of you into what you do.
Without passion, life is like a sailor who is marooned on an island with no means of survival. Passion leads to purpose. Studies have shown that sense of purpose makes you more resilient, supports you in reaching your life goals, and contributes to a longer, happier, and healthier life. Thus, passion is a compelling enthusiasm which gives length to our creations and breadth to our imagination. It compels us to take risks and push ourselves past our current limits. And it is usually a result of something you are good at and enjoy doing. As well as something that compliments your skills and abilities.
Passionate people are always focused on what can be rather than what is. They’re always chasing their next goal with the unwavering belief that they’ll achieve it. Your work is what you do to get paid and for a living, whereas passion is something which you practice for pleasure or for the joy you get in doing it. If you could combine your passion as your work, then you will be doing your best in terms of work performance and you will enjoy doing work like never before.Your work is what you do to get paid and for a living, whereas passion is something which you practice for pleasure or for the joy you get in doing it. If you could combine your passion as your work, then you will be doing your best in terms of work performance and you will enjoy doing work like never before.
Developing a passion at early stage is a boon that helps you find yourself. Whether it’s reading, writing, playing an instrument, painting, photography etc. To be in touch with something that you are not looking for anything more than the pure enjoyment is a great way to treat yourself. Find your passion, and let yourself fall in love with it and become a part of who you are. Nothing can replace it.

The second wave of covid 19 ( 594 doctors died)

THE SECOND WAVE OF COVID-19

( 594 DOCTORS DIED)

Cdisease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus.

Most people who fall sick with COVID-19 will experience mild to moderate symptoms and recover without special treatment.

The first known infections from SARS-CoV-2 were discovered in Wuhan, China. The original source of viral transmission to humans remains unclear, as does whether the virus became pathogenic before or after the spillover event.

The great majority of people with coronavirus will have mild or moderate disease and will make a full recovery within 2-4 weeks. But even if you are young and healthy – meaning your risk of severe disease is low .

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) said that 594 doctors died during the second wave of COVID-19 across the country. It released an updated list on Wednesday and noted that Delhi (107), Bihar (96), Uttar Pradesh (67) and Rajasthan (43) have lost the maximum number of doctors so far.

While no such count is available for other medical staff currently, the Centre earlier this week announced a new system of processing the insurance claims under the  (PMGKP) —Insurance Scheme for Health Workers Fighting COVID 19

The Health Ministry noted that claims will be certified by the District Collector and after approval will be settled in 48 hours.

The move follows several States raising the matter of processing delays in insurance claims. “This latest order is aimed at cutting down delays and to further streamline and simplify the processing of the insurance claims,” ministry only said.

At least 594 doctors have died in the second wave of coronavirus infections in the country so far, with Delhi accounting for 107 such deaths, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) said on Tuesday.

State wise data put out by IMA shows that nearly every second doctor who died in the second Covid-19 wave died either in Delhi, Bihar or Uttar Pradesh. These three states together account for nearly 45 per cent of the doctors who died in the second wave.

During Corona second wave in India have lost of any people and children’s have loss of their parents. Indian people have also met financial crisi. Doctor and nurses also died in India’s surge in infections began around mid-March and increased rapidly, reaching a peak of more than 400,000 recorded daily cases on Friday, 30 April. OverOver subsequent days the numbers fell, with just under 360,000 on Monday, 3 May – leading to speculation that a peak had been reached.

But in the past few days, they have started to rise again, in line with a weekly pattern of fluctuations that shows the numbers usually dipping on a Monday. And on Thursday, 6 May, the number of new recorded daily infections reached a new high of more than 414,000.

Accurate assessments of the extent of the virus are only possible with widespread testing.India has been conducting nearly two million tests a day. This dipped at the start of this month to 1.5 million. But by Wednesday, 5 May, daily testing was back at almost two million again.

This temporary fall in testing may go some way to explaining the extent of the dip in recorded daily infections in the first few days of May.Testing has also been highly variable across the country, with some regions showing significant declines.”This happened during the previous

peak, in September, too,” World Health Organization (WHO) consultant and economist Dr Rijo John says.”When India was about to touch 100,000 cases per day, the testing rates fell.”

MUCORMYCOSIS-A NEW ENTRANT

In the present condition where the second wave of coronavirus is alarming the whole world, something new has also barged in and is becoming a cause of worry-Mucormycosis. The Black fungus or “mucormycosis” in medical parlance is a new entrant into India, a rare and dangerous infection caused by a fungus by name “mucor” which can found on wet surfaces in general. These fungi are generally not harmful unless one has a weakened immune system. Black fungus is caused by mold found in moist places like soil or compost and are all pervasive in the environment. Black fungus attacks the respiratory tract. It is not contagious and does not spread from person to person. People get infected with mucromycosis , which are of several types, by breathing in fungal spores. Many people who were infected by COVID-19 were being infected by this deadly fungus due to low immune systems.

HOW DANGEROUS IS BLACK FUNGUS?

This disease is globally distributed , however its exact estimate couldn’t be placed due to insufficient data. Mucormycosis can become life threatening when it reaches the brain so doctors have to surgically remove eyes of patients to stop the infection from spreading too far and hence the infection needs to be detected soon and scraped off. The mortality rate considerably high in India due to delays in seeking medical attention and diagnosing the infection, and challenges and difficulties in managing the advanced stage of infection The estimates indicate that about 54% of people die of mucormycosis. Several people are also suffering from blindness as a result of this disease. The infection can also spread to other parts of your body through your blood. This is called disseminated mucormycosis. When this happens, the fungus affects organs like your spleen and heart. In severe cases, you might face several mental issues or also go into a coma. It can even be fatal at times.

WHO ARE ALL AT RISK?

  • Patients with Diabetes
  • People on immunosuppressants
  • People severely affected by COVID-19
  • People on ventilator support
  • Those with skin injury due to surgery or burns
  • Those who underwent organ transplant
  • HIV or AIDS
  • Long term steroid users
  • Premature birth or underweight birth

SYMPTOMS OF MUCORMYCOSIS

  • Fever
  • Shortness of breath
  • Chest pain
  • Cough
  • Swelling on one side of the face
  • Headache
  • Blurred or double vision
  • Sinus congestion
  • Pain in the belly
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Gastrointestinal bleeding
  • Blood in your stools
  • Black lesions on the bridge of the nose or inside the mouth

WHAT ARE THE COMPLICATIONS?

  • Blindness
  • Damage to nerves
  • Blood clots

TREATMENT FOR THE INFECTION

An early identification of the symptoms and timely treatment can help in successfully treating the infection. The use of specific anti-fungal medicines when administered properly can cure the disease. The most commonly used medicines include Amphotericin B which is used for severe fungal infections. However, it is strongly advised that self-medication must be avoided.

PREVENTIVE MEASURES WE CAN TAKE FROM OUR END

  1. Wearing a mask while venturing out especially to garbage dumping, garden, dusty areas etc.
  2. Avoiding over exposure of skin.
  3. The blood glucose must be constantly monitored and controlled.
  4. Maintaining proper personal hygiene.
  5. One must follow the correct amount of steroids to be taken as advised by your physician.
  6. Ensure that clean water is filled in the humidifier for those who use oxygen cylinders.
