Blackmarketing of Medicines

Medicines are one of the most basic requirement for any patient who is suffering from any disease. In the current situation, When the world is suffering from a global pandemic our health sector has been under constant pressure. The pressure of saving multiple lives fighting everyday to continue breathing overcoming all the odds faced by them and their families.

Doctors, Nurses, pharmacist and other hospital staff are the ones who are working extra hours to control the spread of virus. In market, When the world is fighting and standing together against the virus, Some people wants to take advantage from the situation. In the second wave of COVID-19 in India, There were visuals where one injection was sold for 1,00,000 INR despite being the MRP of the injection was very low. Drastic situation faced by the people in India, when nobody was getting a bed in the hospital for their family members on time. Oxygen cylinder were sold for almost five times the original price in some of the areas in India. People used to stand in a queue to fill their cylinders so that their loved ones will not die because of the scarcity of Oxygen.

Despite the warning by government, People had crossed all the limits of humanity. Gaining profit in such difficult situation was the main agenda by black marketers. Stocks of medicines were not available at the pharmacy or local medical stores. It was stocked by people who were doing business and gaining profit by risking the lives of people from their own country. The biggest sin is to take advantage from otherโ€™s bad times. It is the time to stand in unity, support otherโ€™s with whatever we can and spread the awareness to always wear a mask.

These situations can be faced by any of us. As a country, Our main responsibility is to stop such criminal practices happening in India. Those who are doing it should be punished for risking so much lives at stake for their personal benefit. Government should take some strict actions against them so that it stops immediately. Being a responsible citizen, It is our duty to not let anyone do such offensive and criminal act in front of us.Life is very precious, It becomes very hard for ones who lose their loved ones. We all should pledge support our frontline workers in this challenge.

โ€œPlease wear mask if not for you then for your family .โ€

However, it said children would not be affected as much as those in lower middle-class clusters that havenโ€™t been exposed to the virus so far.
What is the new Delta+ variant?
These predictions were part of the meeting chaired by CM Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday to review preparedness for the projected third wave. It included task force members, the state health minister and senior bureaucrats.

Unemployment

Unemployment is a serious problem faced today by India. Nearly 50% of educated youth are yet to find suitable jobs. Even those who are employed in agriculture in rural areas are only partly employed as they are unemployed for many months in a year. This is due to an economic problem.

With our society getting more and more money-oriented, it is obvious that everyone runs after money, as this will bring power to the trail. In the past, acquiring wealth was just to maintain a good and respectable standard of life, but today money and only money is sought for, it is the only thing that is respected, the only thing that is loved and the only thing that can buy anything at all-a strong power in itself money has become. To fulfill all the necessities employment first needs. Many reasons could be given for this unemployment and under-employment. The first reason is an explosion of population. The natural resources, the land, and means are the same. The population has almost increased. The second is modern industrial policies have turned all the people to migrate into countries and cities and towns to work. And also the manpower resources are not planned according to the needs of the next decade. The third is the unsuitable educational system. those who come out of schools and colleges should be known the value of white-collared jobs as well as blue-collared jobs. Blue collared jobs are also known for their self-confidence and also one should know the dignity of laborers. This lacks the mental ability and the manual skill to take up a productive job. Education must be job-oriented. The disparity in pay and salary exists, where a man who does manual work and another who does mental work are equal in the matter of needs. Unless the income disparity is reduced, people look up manual jobs.
This lockdown, Covid-19 has created lots of losses and disasters for all the self-employment peoples, and the private and the government agents are also under pressure. Numerous people have also lost their jobs. In today’s technology developmental world, we are open up to various fields to showcase our talents and experiences and explore some sort of new things to the whole world by all the social media platforms to make it wisely and earn it happily, this lockdown has taught this to every nook and corner persons all over the world, right from young people to all the old age people.

Apart from this, people also create themselves, like weaving, embroidery, food preservation, homemade packing, and marketing, etc., could also be taught that this also better employment. Self-confidence should be restored in youth and those capable should be allowed to help themselves in the field and also give hands to uplift every possible soul. Unemployment creates a lot of depression, stress, and pressure for everyone and it leads to mental illness. Although the government is doing its best to solve the problem of everything.Hope to be strong through tough times, and be there for each other in these hardest battles.

Everyone has a treasure and I call it as a time.ย

In this pandemic, it’s all about staying safe home at doing all the regular activities for over days and months, and we are still counting. So being in-home, we do take this time, taken for granted, and using it more lethargic.

Time is claimed to be an endless, everlasting one. It’s said that it neither has aย  beginning nor an end. Yet men can measure it as years, months, days, hours, minutes, seconds. They give meanings to the words past, present, future. True, time incorporates a meaning. It moves. What was yesterday isn’t today, what’s today won’t be tomorrow, so what try and live the instant at the moment? and in all the tiny ordinary miracles of day-to-day lives. Yet a time is claimed to possess no holidays. It exists always.

The entire creation moves on in keeping with a time pattern, there’s birth, growth, and death. There’s time for everything we stumble upon. Plants bloom flowers and provide juicy fruits. Seasons come and alter consistently with time. When a toddler is born, it grows into childhood stages, teenage, youth, middle age, and adulthood consistent with age and time. Every movement of creation on this planet is linked with time. One cannot grow paddy or wheat during a month nor daily. Consequently, one child cannot become an adult in an exceedingly year. Everything is fixed to a time frame.

Time could be a free force. It does not wait for any. It’s a commonly said quote that” time and tide anticipate none”. Time is like money. A second, not usefully spent is a never-ending loss. And yes, I spotted it after I came so far at this point in my life. you’ll be able to never come back to the lost day and time. The time flies and never returns.

Therefore one has got to know the worth of your time. Seize it and do use every moment of it. Never shelve what you’ll be able to do today to tomorrow because you are doing not know the way tomorrow would be. Procrastination is that the thief of your time, it results in a waste of your time, and at last, it wastes you. All men tend to be emotional at some point of the stage in life. Time heals all the injuries and even it heals what reason cannot. When negative emotions like anxiety, envy, fear of missing out have overtaken them, they act hurriedly resulting in serious consequences. they will repent later after emotions calm down. But the damage done is finished and it remains forever. Even that damage can heal over the passage of your time. People involved may forget and forgive. that’s the importance of your time and its healing touch. Time may be a wise counselor. Passage of your time allows a private to grow. This growth gives you experience. Experience helps in taking decisions over tasks.

Wasting time isn’t harming others. One is harming is himselfย  Some people always complain that they’re running out of your time and there’s no time for them to try and do any of the work and it’s late. That doesn’t actually seem correct. If one is ready to wisely plan all his activities, there’ll be time for everything happening. somebody’s a part of nature, cannot grumble over time. Time is more powerful. It conquers everyone.

To conclude in today’s technology there are plenty of smartwatch brands, applications that are developed to stay remind of all of your works and make the foremost of it. If you’re not on time, you’ll miss the flight and you miss it forever. Once you miss it, it flies off. you’ll never catch that point. Hence it’s called fleeting time. Learn to use the time more authentically and fruitfully.

COVID WARRIOR’S

The ย term โ€œwarriorโ€ refers to ย those who work hard selflessly for the country. During the times of COVID-19, We have seen so many COVID warriors who have worked day and night just to help the people . Poverty is one of the reason why people have suffered so much during the lockdown period. In India, Poverty rate every year increases due to high population, limited resources and poor ย quality of education available for the poor section of the society.

The main contribution towards being a COVID warrior is of doctorโ€™s. The responsibility that a doctor carries is bigger than anything in this world. They are the oneโ€™s who protected us from this pandemic and have shown so much enthusiasm in dealing with hard times. Doctorโ€™s deserve our love and care as they are risking their own lives in keeping us safe and healthy. Being in a PPE kit for more than their normal working hours becomes exhausting still they are giving their best. It is the time to honor them with our support and love. There is so much risk in this profession, when your mistake can take away all the hardwork you did before. Doctorโ€™s are our source of motivation to be a better person and help others however we can.

Companies like TCS, Wipro, Google, Infosys ย and many more have donated so much for the people of India. Ratan Tata have recently announced salary for the family of deceased employee from his company till the age of his/her retirement. Azim Premji , Ratan Tata are one of the examples who doesnโ€™t give up in the time when India needs them the most. There are several other people whose names are ย not mentioned , but they have contributed so much to show their empathy and love for India.ย  Such warriorโ€™s deserve our true care and love for doing so much for India.

In Bollywood Industry, People like Sonu sood deserves all the respect for the work he is doing. He is praised by every single person in our country. ย The hardwork he is doing for every single person is incredible. People have so much hope from the young star of India. He has influenced so many lives and still doing it. It should be appreciated about the way he is selflessly working for every single citizen.

Several NGOโ€™s like Hemkunt Foundation, Khalsa Aid are also working in providing the basic necessary items in every part of India.ย  NGOโ€™s are one of the organization which have not stopped working during COVID-19 and have given their best in whatever they did and also currently doing. No reward can be enough for such organizations to honor them for the work they are doing.

COVID warriors are the one we should never forget in upcoming future. They have united us and helped so many of us. We canโ€™t repay them in any form for the amount of help they are doing for our society. We all should stay inside our house in order to help them as this is the only way we show our genuine concern and respect for corona warriors.

โ€œSTAY HOME, STAY SAFEโ€.

Is science a boon or bane?

We are within the age of science and technology. Man cannot live without the help of science. Science has engulfed our lives that nothing can happen in our day o day work without the assistance of science. Our food, transport, learning, administration, recreation, and social life are linked with science in various ways.

To answer the question, whether science has come to mankind as a boon or because of the reason for ruin. one should know what science actually means. Science is claimed to be a scientific classification of experiences. We, men, wonder at the varied thing and events happening around us. We get doubts about what are they? why are they happening? If so why these questions are the fundamental seats of science. then starts with thinking, analyzing, reasoning, synthesis, and contrast, and at last, the reality reveals. scientists say there’s a methodology for everything and there are inevitable steps to follow, they include, observation, hypothesis, experiment, theory, and proofs. all scientists having the way followed these steps.

Aim of science:

The aim of science is to go looking for truth and to grasp things, hitherto unknown. A scientist doesn’t accept ideas, just because they were accepted by others earlier. Great discoveries are a result of reasoning. lots of patience and observation are required. Civilization, because it today, is that the result of a variety of discoveries made within the field or of science. The invention of the easy wheel has resulted in our modern industrialization. Electricity, as a source of energy, has revolutionized the planet. Science has contributed to the success of our revolution and now we’ve enough food for all. we’ve enough clothing and better shelter too. All this can be possible, only because of science. Radios, television, and cinemas that entertain us are the products of science. So as a standard man must conclude that science is boon to mankind.

There is another side of the coin too, where such gave science which gave birth to destructive weapons like guns, rifles,ย  rockets, atom bombs, hydrogen bombs, etc. It’s the science that has electric power and nuclear energy, hydroelectric power but atomic energy isn’t used for peaceful purposes, like Hiroshima and Nagasaki which happened as a result of science, it’s the bane of humanity.

Leaving that apart, another creation of science is that the pollution of the environment. Industrialization with the help of science has polluted air, food, and every one of the atmosphere. The ozonosphere is giving threatening signals. so here is the case for a person to contemplate science as a bane.

A human could be a rational being. to safeguard themselves against all odds. that’s how he was able to conquer and control all the creatures within the world. So allow us to believe that his wisdom will prevail and he would conclude for the well-being of his kind on this planet.

When the universe reveals more secrets to humans by means of science, there’s hope that this man will become a superman and eventually science would be only a boon and not a bane of his life. Science without conscience is that the death of the soul.

Black Fungus: A Threat to Eyes

200,000 Amphotericin B doses used in black fungus treatment reaches India | Latest News India - Hindustan Times

Mucormycosis, also known as black fungus, is a rare but dangerous Infection. Its caused by a group of molds called mucormycetes and often affects the sinuses, lungs, skin and brain. You can inhale the mold spores or come into contact with them in Things like soil, rotting produce or bread, or compost piles.

Symptoms of Mucormycosis

The symptoms of mucormycosis will depend on where in your body the fungus is growing.

 They may include:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Chest pain
  • Shortness of breath
  • Swelling on one side of your face
  • Headache
  • Sinus congestion
  • Black lesions on the bridge of your nose or the inside of your mouth
  • Belly pain
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Gastrointestinal bleeding
  • Diarrhea

If your skin is infected, the area can look blistered, red, or swollen. It might turn black or feel warm or painful. The infection can also spread to other parts of your body through your blood. This is called disseminated mucormycosis. When this happens, the fungus can affect organs like your spleen and heart. In severe cases, you may have changes to your mental state or go into a coma. It can even be deadly.

Diagnosis and Treatment of Mucormycosis-

If you suspect mucormycosis, your doctor will give you a physical exam and ask about your medical history. Let them know if youโ€™ve been around spoiled foods or other places in which fungal spores are often found. If it looks like you have a lung or sinus infection, your doctor may take a sample of the fluid from your nose or throat and send it to be tested in a lab. They might also do a tissue biopsy, taking out a small piece of infected tissue for testing. Your doctor may do imaging tests like CT or MRI scans to find out whether the infection has spread to your brain or other organs. If youโ€™re diagnosed with mucormycosis, you should start treatment as soon as possible with prescription antifungal medications. These medicines stop the growth of the fungus, destroy it, and bring the infection under control.

You might take:

  • Amphotericin B
  • Isavuconazole
  • Posaconazole

You get these medications through a vein (intravenous or IV) or as pills that you swallow. Your doctor may start with high doses through an IV until the infection is under control, which can take several weeks. Then, youโ€™ll switch to pills. Let your doctor know if a medication has troublesome side effects like stomach pain, heartburn, or trouble breathing. They may be able to change your treatment plan. In severe cases, your doctor may recommend surgery to remove infected or dead tissue to keep the fungus from spreading. This might include removing parts of your nose or eyes. It can be disfiguring. But itโ€™s crucial to treat this life-threatening infection.

  • Blindness
  • Blood clots or blocked vessels
  • Nerve damage

Mucormycosis can be deadly without treatment. Because the infection is so rare, the exact mortality rate isnโ€™t clear. But researchers estimate that overall, 54% of people with mucormycosis die. The likelihood of death depends on which part of the body is affected. The outlook is better for people who have sinus infections than it is for lung or brain infections.

Mucormycosis Prevention-

There is no way to avoid breathing in spores. But you can do a few Things to lower your chances of mucormycosis. Itโ€™s especially important if you have a health condition that raises your risk.

  1. Stay away from areas with a lot of dust or soil, like construction or excavation sites. If you have to be in these areas, wear a face mask like an N95.
  2. Avoid infected water. This can include floodwater or water-damaged buildings, especially after natural disasters like hurricanes or floods
  3. If you have a weakened immune system, avoid activities that involve dust and soil, like gardening or yard work.
  4. If you canโ€™t, protect your skin with shoes, gloves, long pants, and long sleeves. Wash cuts or scrapes with soap and water as soon as you can.
  5. If you get mucormycosis, be sure to take your medications as directed. If side effects cause problems or the infection doesnโ€™t get better, let your doctor know right away.

Why unemployment occurs?

Being 2nd in terms of the population can seem a curse to our country especially in terms of employment. The competition that youngsters face these days is because of this population. Even those who get a job didn’t get the desired salary. Most employees are not paid in proportion to the work that we put in. Whatโ€™s more, this is not a new problem or one that has been created by a single government. In our country, low monthly incomes are a norm โ€“ across all states, and as a consequence, wage inequality remains high. Wage growth significantly trails economic growth in the country. The sluggish growth of our GDP has led to a rise in inequality and widened the economic divide between rural and urban India.

The sad part is that Indiaโ€™s unemployed are mostly the higher educated and the young. And those who have jobs are not satisfied enough. If you believe that only a few people at the top are getting huge paychecks, think again. Because data suggest that we arenโ€™t creating too many high-paying jobs either. And even though labor productivity has risen in India, growth in remuneration has remained slow. The sad part is statistic, graphs of unemployment are still the same. The new jobs and opportunities are nothing in front of our population. This problem needs to review and can be to some extent need to be solved through bargaining power.ย Skilling, sometimes, multi-skilling at all levels is the most effective way to fight the wage crisis and the coming job crisis -the crucial designation before talent can be matched with demand. If the skilling exception isnโ€™t corrected, job seekers will end up in the bad job trap. Skills produce productivity, and productivity brings with it higher pay.

The problem is that the business power of workers in India is low and getting more worse. Wage changes are also a result of changes in the way of production. Throughout the last few years, production has become more capital intensive or less dependent on labor in nearly every manufacturing industry in the organized and unorganized sectors. This is true, if to a lesser extent, for agriculture and services as well. While technical know-how and increased use of machinery is a change that needs to be welcomed since it translates to increased productivity, in labor surplus economies like India, the enhanced productivity does not automatically translate to higher wages for employees. Therefore need of the time is to cope up with the desired need of the institutes and became more high tech by learning more digital skills.

Even Aryabhatta, Aristotle…’: Harsh Vardhan’s Covishield jibe at Rahul Gandhi

Dr Harsh Vardhan on Wednesday mocked at Rahul Gandhi for questioning the decision of delaying Covishield 2nd dose by three months.
Union health minister Dr Harsh Vardhan on Wednesday tore into Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for questioning the gap between the two doses of Covishield Covid-19 vaccine and said even Aryabhatta and Aristotle would bow in front of Rahul Gandhi for his knowledge. The health minister also said that the agenda of spreading confusion over vaccine will no longer work.

On Tuesday, Reuters quoted three members of the expert panel who reportedly said that extending the gap between two doses of Covishield to 12 to 16 weeks was not a unanimous decision. What was unanimously agreed upon was a gap of 8-12 weeks, as advised by the World Health Organization. The government on Wednesday issued statements dismissing the claim and it also published the minutes of the meeting in which the decision to widen the gap between the two doses. The Centre reiterated that it was a unanimous decision based on scientific evidence.

Pandemic, Placement, and Future of young generation.

Covid19 binds us to our shelters, and study remains restricted to computer screens. In one way or another way, covid19 does impact the life of the people. So to the final year students. Due to covid19 outbreak and lockdown, many students did not receive their job letters those who received them faced delaying joining dates even after getting hired. some students did not get a call back from the employer regarding their status of employment. Along with elders, students were hoping too for things to get back to normal But the second wave of the virus crushed all the hopes of the students. Students will have to set in the new normal of digitization.

Firms have changed their hiring process also from full-time to unpaid or stipend-based internships, to cut costs. Companies are even reducing the number of hiring employees and are also offering comparatively lower compensation packages. Only a few companies have joined so far for placement in the but only with minimal vacancies. besides affecting the health sector, Covid19 has also posed major setbacks for small businesses and itโ€™s going to affect freshers.

Marginal or no placements have hugely affected students. Thereโ€™s a persistent fear of remaining unemployed even after college ends. Sadly, the institutions no longer take the responsibility of getting their students placed and ensuring their economic and financial safety. Also, thereโ€™s a lack of strategy behind planning placement drives.ย Government should interrupt to negotiate between the colleges and companies for the interest of the students..ย The government has to put in extra effort to ensure that unemployment levels among the youth do not increase further. A lot of people lost their jobs during the pandemic. Now, the challenge in front of freshers is to compete with those who are experienced enough but unemployed. Our state should look into this matter and try to create job opportunities for the youth so that the number of unemployed population could be declined.

Standing With The Children

The Supreme Court of India, on May 28, gave direction to the government about protection of children orphaned in the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic. During the pandemic days have passed by without children getting food. We cannot know the exact number of children impacted in this time period. There has always been a high risk of orphaned children falling through the cracks of society. However, this problem has been majorly overlooked and during the Covid crisis, we have been given an opportunity to go back and revisit this question.

The first problem arises due to the caste and family structure of the child. After the death of the parents, there are many instances where the relatives do not take responsibility for the child. Even if the child does have a family, due to financial obstacles, they sometimes cannot provide for the education and the well being of the child. In situations like these, the child may not receive assistance and guidance in life.

If a child enters an institute and finds a place to stay at the hostel, he/she may not have someone to help them with their problems. For an orphaned child with no other family support, hostel could be the first and the last resort. Unfortunately many state governments do not allow the child to stay in a hostel beyond 18 years of age. Hence after completing school or college they have no home to return to. Many students even face problems with government documents, from Aadhar cards to Pan cards.

In this state of helplessness students often take the wrong path, and these wrong choices can land them into adverse situations. The major hand of help can come via the respective state governments since the government is legally bound by the Constitution to ensure the welfare of children. Recently, the Maharashtra government has changed the rule and allowed orphaned children to stay in hostels till the age of 23. However, steps need to be taken to ensure all the future generations are not faced with the same problems. Some steps that the government can take in this regard are: A yearly survey of orphan children at district and block levels to be initiated. The information about the child’s family should be registered by the respective authorities.

No child should have their identity compromised, and hence government documents should be supplied on time. Many governments schemes and programs should be set up which run parallel to the principles of freedom, equality and social justice. A permanent fund should be set up by government and if possible, local-level NGO’s so that the child does not face any financial issues.

Every child has the right to education and leading a fulfilling life. Loss of parents and loved ones can seriously impact the child. The child’s mental health can also be affected since they have no one to talk to and share their grievances with. Counsellors should be available for call or one-to-one sessions for all children, with whom they can openly share their feelings with.

They say children are the future of the country. Well, how can we build a promising future if 30% of children are below poverty line. It’s high time these issues get addressed and resolved so that all children get equal opportunities to lead a quality life and participate in society.

Chinese incursion in Taiwan

About 28 military planes of china flew in the (ADIZ) Air Defence Identification Zone of Taiwan on Tuesday (15/6/21). The Planes include fighter aircrafts and nuclear-capable bombers. This is the largest incursion by China that occurred since the island began self-ruling.

Taiwanโ€™s defence ministry said that the latest Chinese mission involved 14 J-16 and 6 J-11 fighters, 4 H-6 bombers which can carry nuclear weapons and the anti submarine and the electronic warfare and early warning aircraft.

China claims complete sovereignty over Taiwan which is Democratic nation of about 24 million people. The mainland china and Taiwan are being governed separately over 7 decades. The Island nation considers itself sovereign while China is claiming Taiwan as a territory of mainland under its One-China policy.

Brief History:

There was a civil war in China in 1949 between Chinese Communist Party and the Republic of China after which ROC relocated to Taiwan. From then ROC has exercised effective jurisdiction in the Island nation Taiwan and a number of outlying islands. Around 1.2 million people followed the ROC while relocating from China.

In 1980โ€™s relationship between the 2 countries started improving and china kept forward the โ€œOne country, two systemsโ€ assuring autonomy to Taiwan if it accepted reunification, but Taiwan rejected the offer.

A March 2021 poll was commissioned by Taiwanese Govt. which shows that at present many of the major Taiwanese support DPP (Democratic Progressive Party) governments approach in safeguarding national sovereignty. Many of the people also say they feel Taiwanese, rather than Chinese.

Liberty to the modern world

Liberty, another word for freedom is a necessary concomitant for development and growth. However, just to urge liberty isn’t enough, how we use it lies at the essence of accomplishment by liberty.

In the times, plenty of freedom is given to all or any and varied. Liberty to women, to children, to workers, to lower classes, and then on and then forth. However, as things stand today, wherever we glance it’s being amply misused.

The modern world is correct when it says and thinks that, there is no growth without liberty. most so good but, after we consider liberty we don’t seem to appreciate that, complete liberty should run only to a highly sophisticated, highly disciplined, and highly educated, and responsible class of individuals. this can be because if we give liberty to the lesser class that doesn’t know the correct use of the gift, it’ll all told probability to be misused. even as a monkey handling a rail a razor is probably going to chop his cheek while a person knows a way to use it correctly to his advantage without harming himself. In the same way, liberty is additionally a thing that needs delicate and complex handling for it to be really useful. Liberty must thereby find an area only within the hands of the few educated and well-meaning people.

However, this is often not true a minimum of in India, liberty has been granted as a present from the gods to all or any and varied and also the result’s for all people to determine. Wherever liberty is being given it’s being misused by one and everyone. this can be because when liberty is within the hands of individuals like those, common in India, dishonest and undisciplined, it’s absolute to bring disaster. to know the validity of the statement that, liberty must be only we are disciplined and know-how and the way far to use this gift. to work out how far our liberty is misused we are going to take few examples from our day-to-day lives, right from aasifa to nirbhaya girls cases, we all know that their liberty is being misused within the nowadays, finally it ended up with a disaster. the house and also the society are the 2 main spheres where all folks individuals have interest..similarly, at the amount of society everyone wishing to try to what and the way he/she wants, leaves the social fabric with none cohesion and civic boundaries. once we mouth liberty we must make sure that it must come only after a decent education, and discipline for ease, liberty within the hands of the uneducated and uncouth becomes a harbinger of greater and greater indiscipline, resulting in disaster. this is often exactly what’s happening in India. Every individual has the freedom to try to, to say, and behave as he/she wants and therefore the resulting chaos is for us all to suffer. Liberty may be a gift meant for those who know the way far to require freedom and when to prevent using it and, especially a way to use their liberty.

Why education?

A man without education is considered to be an animal, says in Sanskrit. But hundreds and thousands of men and women in developing and underdeveloped countries are still illiterate. They are also living, eating, sleeping, and leading their normal lives. Then “why education” is the question.

To understand the question, one should know the real value and meaning of “education”. The term education is derived from the Latin word “Educate” which means to bring up or bring out. Every man is born with certain inherent talents. These talents are brought out at the right time and place. Then only they shine.

There are two kinds of activities which a man performs, the first thing is to satisfy hunger, thirst, etc., There are certainly other activities that a man performs to satisfy mental desires and social needs. They are to develop reason, imagination, skills, social behavior, moral behavior, curiosity, creativity, adjustment ability, friendship, leadership, working skills, spiritual quest, and finally salvation. The second kind is developed through education. The one who is educated is social, knowledgeable, skillful, and full of confidence.

Education is not only reading about something, writing languages, and learning arithmetic. It has different aims to achieve. The most important ones are, economic, vocational, knowledge, and social.

Economic Bases: A man who is educated should be able to earn his living and should be economically self-sufficient. Education should help the man to achieve this.

Vocational: The second aim is to develop the skill to do a professional job-may be agriculture, carpentry, pottery, or even sophisticated jobs like engineering, teaching, medical practice, etc.

Knowledge: Education helps a man to develop a scientific outlook to learn many things from nature. To be rational in outlook and not to be led away by superstitions and blind beliefs scientific thinking is a must. It is that scientific thinking has helped man to invent electricity, the law of gravity, the law of relativity, laws of motion, etc, and march forward as a scientist and conquer nature. Indispensable and innumerable inventions the scientists have made life more comfortable, worth living, and easy.

Social: Man is gregarious by instinct. He cannot live in isolation. Living in a family and in society is a necessity for him. In order to live peacefully out there in this society, he has to know and keen on certain laws of society. this is possible only through education. Man does not live for worldly comforts alone. He has certain religious and spiritual needs. He can fulfill all his necessities in life by living in this society.

Need for education:

India is a democratic country. Democracy means rules by the people. The majority opinion should be based on scientific reasoning, political maturity, and the welfare of all, if not it will lead to chaos. Every voter should the value of each vote and also their responsibilities and duties towards the state. Therefore the education of every citizen is an inevitable need in a democracy.

Education builds your wealth, it allows you to pursue other ventures but rather find us more peace, which can lead to living a fulfilling life.

DRINK WATER

Cristiano Ronaldo seems to be not a fan of the soft drink after the Portugal captain is removed, two Coca-Cola bottles in front of him, Euro 2020 press conference on Monday, and for the people to drink instead of water.

Cristiano Ronaldo seems to be not a fan of the soft drink after the Portugal captain is removed, two Coca-Cola bottles in front of him, Euro 2020 press conference on Monday, and for the people to drink instead of water.

The 36-year-old striker pushed the coke bottles on one side, and sat down to talk to the media ahead of Tuesday’s opening Group F match against Hungary.

He followed her in with a bottle of water with the cry “in Portuguese,” Agua!”

Coca-Cola is one of the official sponsors of the Euro 2020, which could not immediately be reached by Reuters for comment.

Coca-cola’s answer:

Cristiano Ronaldo spoke disparagingly of the Coca-Cola company, and the people, asking not to drink water during the Turkey-Hungary’s press conference, a move which will be sent to Coca-Cola’s stock price plummeting from $ 56.10 to $ 55.22. ”
Cristiano Ronaldo is a world-wide star, and all that they do has an impact, including outside the field. After the Portuguese captain, and asked the people not to drink of the water, and contempt “for the Coca-Cola company, already at the beginning of the press conference with the team for the race of Hungary at Euro 2020, with this act, is bound to have an impact.

It does not hide the fact that He will take the best care of his body. Even at the age of 36, with the Portuguese star has had the opportunity to compete with players who are 10 years younger than he is. When He came to the press conference of the Portuguese national team, as a coach, Fernando Santos, he saw the two of Coca-Cola bottles in front of him and decided to delete them from the camera.

Rapes and Rapists

Bangladesh to introduce death penalty for rape - BBC News”While a murderer devastates the physical frame of the victim, a rapist deteriorates and defiles the soul of innocent life. ”
Sexual assault on women is a frequent happening in our country. Under sexual assault comes; molestation, eve-teasing, child sex abuse, marital rapes, domestic violence. Rapes are one of the worst crimes; ironically, the most common one. According to Section 375 of the Indian Penal Code, Rape means illegal intercourse done by a man with a woman without her valid consent. Rape outrages a woman’s modesty. After a rape incident, a woman lives a pathetic life saturated with fear, depression, guilt complex, suicidal action, and social stigma. In recent times, Rape incidents have increased manifold. According to statistics, two women are raped in the country every hour. In addition, according to the statistics, every 10 hours, a girl age 1-10 is being raped in India. It appears that rapists are not scared of laws. The recent incident which shook the nation was the gang rape of a 23-year-old medical student in a moving bus on the streets of Delhi. The cruelty which was shown towards the girl by the rapists filled every Indian with wrath. Thousands of people came to the streets to demand justice for the young lady.
The protests compelled our leaders to sit up and think, and now amendments to the laws concerned with sexual assault on women are underway. Every day the newspaper reports of rape incidents. In the majority of rape cases, the victim knows the rapist. Some events are a rude shock to humanity. One of them was when a man raped her 5-year-old neighbor. Reports show that the rapist brutally destroyed her internal organs beyond cure. Some cases have come to light wherein teachers have raped their students. The question which arises when we talk of rapes is what causes rape. Why are rape cases increasing at an alarming rate? The first and foremost cause of increasing rape cases is the lack of public safety. Women are not safe outside their homes, and why only outside they are not safe even inside their homes.
Several cases have come into notice wherein the guilty has committed the crime in the very house of the victim. Rapes in moving vehicles raise a question on the effectiveness of the traffic system of our country. Another prominent reason is the sluggish court system of India and few convictions. India’s court system is painfully slow, and for rapes that do get reported, the conviction rate is not more than 26%. As the accused do not get any trial, others think that they can go around freely and rape whosoever they like. Stigmatizing the victim and encouraging the victim to compromise gives a further impetus to this horrendous crime. In many rural areas, the victim is forced to drop charges against the guilty and is encouraged to marry their rapist by telling them that nobody will marry them now and it will bring shame to her family. In recent times, prominent leaders and experts have blamed women’s clothing for increasing rape cases. No clothing is an invitation to rape.

Women Empowerment

We all have heard the term โ€œWomen Empowermentโ€ but very few of us know the correct meaning behind the strong word. It is considered to be most favourite topic people like to talk about in front of the society. Since very long time, Women have been used by the society as a object. They were not allowed to have their own dreams and work towards fulfilling their dreams. Their life was all controlled by their family members. Women were not allowed to take any decision related to herself or her family members. They were meant to follow orders without arguing.

Many stories everyday makes a news regarding domestic violence, dowry system, rape cases or even getting killed by her own family. Every woman is unique in her own way, they can never be compared or should compete with each other. In history, We have learnt about so many people who have fought for freedom of women and demolition of such practices like sati pratha, dowry system, child marriage, etc.

Women can have their own identity, they donโ€™t need anyone to fulfill their own dreams. Their dedication, hardwork, passion is enough to do anything in the world. There is a comparison is holy books as women to be Goddess Durga. Women can empower themselves and even their surroundings. As a matter of fact, they can raise their voice for own rights. The one who can bear so much pain in giving birth to a new young one can face every hurdle comes in her path.

Self-defence is one such thing which every women should know as It gives you the power to fight with the monsters living in the form of human being. Human being is one of the creature who can be both kind and devil. Women are strong and can protect herself. It is time for every women to stand with each other and support others.

Life is not a fairytale, It is a challenge to face every obstacle with courage and dedication. Women empowerment starts within yourself, Youโ€™re just one step away from taking stand for yourself.

Start supporting every women and help her in making her feel comfortable and confident.

The online exam option

The Government has announced that class 12 CBSE exams have been cancelled for the year 2021. The steps which follow is to create a “well-defined objective criterion” in a time-bound manner. It is safe to assume that many states will follow suit, and cancel their respective state exams for class XII based on the situation.ย  The media has stated that this is an appropriate and bold decision. But there are always two sides of the coin.

Cancellation of the exams can have several repercussions and severely impact the students, the educational authorities and the nation as a whole. Issues like college admissions and student results need to be discussed and decisions taken need to run parallel with not only the present, but also the future, since we do not know when the situation may get better.

Firstly, what could be this well defined objective criterion that is proposed by the authorities? Marks of the class X board examinations ? Evaluation of students by teachers? None of the above can test the actual knowledge the student possesses.

There are already notices issued by the Delhi High Court to the CBSE, Centre to re-approach their final decision to use marks attained in internal assessment of respective schools for class X board examination marks. Fact is that evaluations will always be subjective and educational authorities will try to reward their students with more marks, hence leading marks inflation across the state.

Instead, new educational norms can be created in the current situation which can be implemented even after Covid as a more effective way to help students. One example can be that students should be continuously monitored throughout the year. Technology provides, “Learning Management Systems” for such evaluations. Hence, the student can learn new things instead of studying for 8 hours a day during the last month before exams. If positive results are attained, final year examinations can be scrapped off completely, since it’s a burden to the students.

Truth is, we had ample time to look at the mistakes of the educational systems and the loopholes of effective management of examinations during the pandemic. JEE, NEET, CET and other such national and state level exams can be used as examples, to conduct offline exams in an appropriate fashion.

Cancellation of exams can have a serious impact on students mentally. Imagine you start preparing for your 10th board exams from 9th standard or the start of 10th standard. Your ultimate goal is to secure a good score in the final exams and get a seat in your dream college. Now, the exams get cancelled. Students will be judged on the internal exams conducted by the college or the school.

It’s very wrong to assume that internal exams in college test the skills and patience of the student the same way final exams do. A student may not score well in internals, but may be very prepared for boards. This does not give us a proper system to acknowledge the knowledge and skills of each student.

The fact that all this was not even explored and we instead went for the softer option of complete cancellation of exams is unfortunate. Official justification for the decision is that it is meant to safeguard student’s health. The government must seriously explore all the possible options so that we don’t find ourselves in the same situation in the coming years.

Out of Stability: Human-made Innovations now equals all the Living on our Planet

โ€œWe have forgotten how to be good guests, how to walk lightly on the earth as its other creatures do.โ€– Barbara Ward

Various anthropogenic innovations and discoveries have reduced human effort and made our lives easier. Innovations that were originally regarded as a success in all terms have now started to become a burden on not just humans themselves but for the Earth.ย

The amount of concrete, asphalt, metal and plastic on Earth is growing rapidly and according to research published inย Natureย shows that the mass of everything human has built and made, from concrete pavements and glass-and-metal skyscrapers to plastic bottles, clothes, and computers, is now roughly equal to the mass of living things on Earth and could surpass that this year.

Things like plastic, electronic devices, glass, and many more have added to the total anthropogenic mass on earth and are even well approximated to double in the next year. Today all the infrastructure like roads, shopping mall, electronic devices such as smartphones, laptops, and basic things like paper, mugs, etc now weigh in at approximately 1.1 trillion metric tonsโ€”equal to the combined dry weight of all plants, animals, fungi, bacteria, archaea, and protists on the planet. This generation of anthropogenic mass has increased exponentially over the past 120 years. Artificial material has gone from just 3 percent of the worldโ€™s biomass in 1900 to on par with it today. And the number of new products being produced every week is equivalent to the average body weight of all 7.7 billion people.

This is becoming a matter of concern due to its deteriorating effects on living forms and nature. The innovations and discoveries are showing a tremendous surge in almost all the fields by human beings, which is also called development by most people, the earth is now facing several environmental changes which will actually take years to renew.

Plastic is known as the biggest threat to the environment, which now weighs twice the weight of all zoological forms on the earth. Similarly, infrastructure like roads and buildings outweigh shrubs and trees. Despite this increase in the anthropogenic mass, there is a plunge in the total biomass on earth due to various factors like land exploration, deforestation, etc. With increasing climate change, carbon footprint, deforestation, ocean acidification, and many more this rapid surge in anthropogenic mass is resulting in degradation of our environment and its time serious measures are taken in order to protect the earth from severe impacts of climate change and heaps of anthropogenic mass which is being generated.

Therefore, one can safely say that in the name of development and invention of new products, humans have started to destroy the environment by exploiting natural resources. The fact that how essential a healthy environment is for our survival is being completely ignored. It’s high time that we realize the necessity of maintaining a balance between anthropogenic development and the environment in a sustainable manner.

A Eulogium to an Indian actor-SSR

Sushant Singh Rajput was a phenomenal Indian actor. The man who played the main role in the sports biopic movie of honorable Shri. Mahendra Singh Dhoni. From kai po che to MS Dhoni, he left all of us dumbstruck with his performance. Dil bechara was the toughest thing to watch. But, only he after left people realized that he was not just an excellent actor, but a guy who dreamt of stars and watched them from his balcony. It’s been a year since he left us in the big blue hole and the harsh realities of life, the world is starting to forget, but things have not changed when it comes to him, we still adore him the way we used to, listening all his dialogues and songs on low keys. I still read his dreams which he had written in his handwriting and still hoping to make mine true one day.

We hope, he is in a better space right now and away from this world, that this world never deserved some beautiful person like you. It’s not that, he lost the world, the world lost you. It failed to cherish and value his presence and now we all are trying to sympathize with his absence. The void he left as a human can never be filled. But we truly wish that he will get justice, the artist he was at least deserves the truth. He will remembered over years no matter what.

We don’t know what he did, why he did, but we all know is, he was a thing of beauty, a plethora of gutwrenching dreams, of madness, of intellect, of passion, of soul, of the universe, he is everything but ordinary. He never gave up, whether it’s physics, acting, or love.

We hope, he is at peace with a telescope in his hand. Heaven needed a hero, somebody like you. We hope heaven smiled when they witnessed you.ย  we can’t change the reality, but you inspired millions, and the impact you left behind as a human will always stay.

Nowadays, passion is considered overrated and presence has become underrated. To all the people out there, depressions don’t have any face or language, be kind to even smiling faces.

His loss seems something personal to all of us. To all those who dare to dream big, he is still an inspiration. Especially every small-town guy dares to dream big to achieve his success. His name itself legacy, the legacy of taking care of others. And for that, he will remain forever in our hearts and till we survive here, we will try to encourage the dreams of many and will work to fulfill them, thus making this world kinder, just like he wished. He might leave the world, but his smile has stuck by our side in the toughest times. These names are engraved in the pages of history with golden letters. He is still alive in the hearts of millions of fans.

Sharing one of his writings here,

As long as you were,

I was.

now just in your memories

I come alive

like a shadow.

just a flicker.

Time doesn’t move here.

it’s beautiful.

it’s forever.

– Sushant Singh Rajput.

Don’t let Covid eclipse the tiger

India’s efforts towards conservation of tigers has been very successful. According to recent reports, India now has 51 tiger reserves consisting of at least 3,000 tigers. More and more Indians flock towards safari parks to marvel at these wondrous creatures and other forms of wildlife. Nature lovers are waiting impatiently to finally be amidst the beautiful places on Earth that they call their home.

On June 7, however, the National Tiger Conservation Authority(NTCA), sent out a circular to the chief wildlife wardens of all the tiger range states. The recent case of a lioness, suspected to have died of Covid-19 infection, got the authorities on alert. There were warnings of high rates of transmission of this virus from affected human beings to captive wild animals. Hence, the authorities stated that tiger reserves needed to be closed for tourism activities until further orders. The intentions of the NTCA was understandable, however, we need to address this issue in a wider perspective.

Tiger reserves in Karnataka which normally remain open throughout the year, were closed for almost two months in the brutal second wave. They are currently gearing up to reopen as soon as possible. Government and civil society organizations have used the lockdown time to treat, educate, test and wherever possible, to vaccinate the communities around the park-forest officials, staff or tribal communities.

As for the tourists, the sad truth is that safari holidays are mainly for the urban and elite people who can afford it, and it is safe to assume that they have been vaccinated. This will further more reduce the risk of infection. Also, the risk of infection hasn’t been determined yet, and the risk of death due to infection is not even under speculation.

Let us assume we open up the wildlife parks for the public. Most of the tourists are going to travel by jeeps, and hence be at a safe distance from all the animals in that region, and that too in an open space, which makes it safer. Tourists are going to be wearing masks at all times and practice social distancing just like normal times. Hence, forest authorities should really contemplate the decision to keep the parks shut.

The wildlife tourism is an important aspect of generation of revenue in the states, and is a source of income for many people. Lakhs of livelihoods around these reserves are in peril, and the impact of a prolonged lockdown will be very severe. Hence a cost-benefit analysis needs to be carried out to ensure the decisions taken by the forest authorities are also in favor of the people depending upon wildlife tourism as a way to earn their daily bread.

Lakhs of tribal people live close to or inside these parks and have the right to collect forest produce. It is not possible to exclude them from the forests that they have helped conserve.ย  Instead of imposing a blanket ban on all wildlife reserves, situation specific steps must be taken to tackle this situation.

New non-invasive and bio-safe protocols must be implemented for wildlife surveillance and species monitoring. Early warning systems must be kept in place to immediately pin point the area of danger for the animals or point of contact between humans and animals or the animals and the outside world. There are many environmental organizations that, when given the chance, will surely be eager to help out the authorities and the government in these endeavors.

World Anti-Nepotism Day ( June 14)

Nepotism banter

Nepotism is the demonstration of manhandling one’s force or official situation to extend to an employment opportunity or some help to a relative while ignoring their legitimacy and capability.

The nepotism banter has been reignited after the death of Bollywood entertainer Sushant Singh Rajput. While there is no authority explanation by experts on the purpose for his self destruction, Twitterati and numerous VIPs have reasoned that his passing was somehow or another associated with nepotism in Bollywood.

The issue goes more extensive than the entertainment world, be that as it may. What is called nepotism in Bollywood is known as “association” wherever else. Determination dependent on loved ones is normal in schools, universities and working environments, even external India’s some family-run aggregates, whose top positions are involved by individuals from the establishing families.

Sushant Singh Rajput Remains the Most Visible Anti-Nepotism Symbol

The online media campaign against Bollywood is continuing to procure steam. For example, there are acquires Rajput’s home region of Bihar and the abutting region of Jharkhand for a boycott of movies by top producers.

Within versus pariah banter in Bollywood was the most commonly discussed topic among the countless questions and conversations that followed Sushant Singh Rajput’s death on June 14, 2020. Up to that moment, there had never been such an open discussion about nepotism or study of it. Predisposition and bias have always existed in the industry, but Sushant’s death triggered the issue like “that’s the last straw”. Warm conversations erupted on social media about the entertainer not being treated fairly or given his due. Despite the fact that nepotism exists in every sector, it became more apparent in Hindi cinema after SSR’s death.

June 14

The fury hasn’t subsided even following a year. A brief glance at top tweets on SSR on some random day will reveal to you that devoted fans are reluctant to allow the campaign to lose steam. Alluding to June 14 as ‘against nepotism day’, enthusiasts of the entertainer are as yet requiring a reasonable treatment for all in Bollywood.

While Bollywood fans continue to stan starkids, whose online media distinction takes off even before their film debut, demands for a sensible opportunities for everyone continues extending, too. Bollywood isn’t one individual, so it is hard to say how long it will decipher as affecting a change. Nevertheless, preferably, the stun set off by Sushant’s death will uphold, inciting extra justifying up-and-comers getting open entryways in the business.

Provided that this is true, crowds may in the long run shut down both nepotism and the strength of the business’ large creation houses.

Mumbai is in Trouble

Mumbai is in a huge trouble . The reason is that the governance of the financial capital of the country is in wrong hands . It is a great matter of sorrow and a matter which needs our attention . We have to choose our leader properly and be unbiased which choosing the leader . This is the need of the hour . The video of a car drowning in a hole was seen and went viral . The authority lies in our hands .

Dogs

Dogs are the most faithful animal on this planet . If you want a friend buy a dog , if you are bored buy a dog , if you want a partner that will never leave you buy a dog . But the deal is buy aย  dog only if you can afford their medicines , their food . There is no need of buying a dog when you cannot afford its well being . I see a lot of people whose dogs suffer from hunger and diseases . This is wrong as well as a serious concern which needs our attention .

โ€œIf love could be defined, in its purest formโ€ – Never fading love for dogs.

DOGS- why do you think humans like having around them? We teach them to be grateful, present and, without the expectations of tomorrowโ€™s day or something in return. We remind them to get out of their head and go back to their heart.

In this pandemic, to cheer up and smile in this difficult breathtaking storm time. Animals their observation and dealing with them are remedies for lots of humans. In that way, I love the curiosity for dogs. Dogs are fascinating with their daily issues. Their commitment to observation and help for humans is indispensable. They have ingenuity in reaching their destination. Dogs are most adored and admired for their affection towards humans. These creatures are humanizing. Furry dogs belong to the family jackals. Some are wild dogs in the forests living on hunting. The second type is pet dogs living with men in villages, towns, cities. The dog is the most faithful animal. It is said, if you feed a hungry dog, it will never desert you, but if you give food hungry human, he may not do the same.

Dogs are of different kinds and different sizes. There are pet dogs hardly a foot in height and other dogs are three feet in height. Different varieties of dogs live in different countries based on climatic conditions. They are called bulldogs, lap dogs, greyhounds, and Spaniards. All dogs are flesh eaters. They have sharp teeth to tear flesh into bits. Some of them are bushy, have fair skin. Dogs are white, brown, Black, spotted and, of mixed colors. They have small ears. Some have sharp ears and others hanging ears. Dogs can run fast to catch their predators. This helps them in hunting as well as in detecting crime.

Wild dogs hunt in packs. Many join together and look for the prey surrounding it from all directions. They then kill the prey, maybe a rabbit or a small deer and, share the meat. Wild dogs also hunt fish in rivers and lakes. The pet dogs war bread and drink milk, besides cooked food and meat. Pet dogs are very much attached to their masters and wag their tails whenever they are happy. In villages, there are street dogs too, not taken care of by anybody. They eat anything that comes their way.

Dogs are good guards. Dogs are always useful in hunting and they show hunters where the Prey is. Dogs are very useful to detect crime as they can easily show the way the criminals had gone. In cold regions are used to pull carts on ice. A pack of dogs can pull carts on ice very fast. Dogs are good swimmers. There a lot of cases where they have saved drowning children and also those who were buried in ice. Saliva flows out of the mouth of a hungry dog or when it is tried. Dogs do not drink water. They lick the water. A shepherd cannot go without a dog. A dog always protects the sheep. Dogs are used in war also to carry messages from place to place. Trained dogs can do mechanical jobs too. Pet dogs are always to be kept clean and neat. They should be shown regular care or otherwise, they may contrast tabbies from street dogs and spread it. Some of the known popular proverbs of dogs, barking dogs seldom bite, every dog is a lion in its home.

Dogs need a lot of attention and affection from humans, they love always loves to be around and participate in everything that is happening. They donโ€™t have an innate alert to strangers, love all people and the whole world, cannot in an enclosure and, suffer away from a person. The love they give you is indescribable, so true and pure that it fills your life with joy and wholeness. Dogs are the one who wipes your inner frustrations. You know you have someone to return to, to hug, and shed a tear & are sure that your tear would matter a lot to them. In this egotistic and rational world of humans, thank god for sending these selfless lovely creatures to experience love in its truest form.

The ruthless approach of private institutes.

Right to education a right that is just on the paper. The pandemic situation makes access to education more challenging. The expensive fees of institutes, colleges, and tuition teachers along with the cost of digital gadgets. Make it a dream for the unprivileged child. Along with expensive gadgets, the additional cost of the internet is a matter of concern. This all thing make together cost of education very expensive. That is not affordable for all. The Pandemic hit makes our environment full of grief. Many lost their loved ones as well as earning hands. The question is in that situation how an innocent child pays for the education expenses. the answer is simple. The unprivileged child eventually drops out of school. People have to deal with financial pressure and subsequent anxiety. The pandemic has financially impacted the Indian middle and upper-middle class. Also many lost their jobs during the covid19 hit. The savings are diverted towards the needs. The reduction in earnings with the additional monthly cost of electricity, rent, and other bills make education cost impracticable.

Even during this time that certain private colleges are charging mercilessly an expensive amount of fees. This has put enormous pressure on families that sometimes have only one earning member per family. OR those who lost only earning members of the family. They have continued with their regular scheme of fees without issuing even the slightest bit of deduction. Even the government is not supporting the pitty family;
Even though government gives the judgment that Colleges should not charge more than the studentsโ€™ tuition fees because they practically have online-only classes. Many students think it is not justified to charge students for the facilities they are no costs such as the library, sports grounds, canteen, etc. Some colleges have given ridiculous explanations about electricity bills, infrastructural cost and maintenance fees. But on the ground private institution didn’t care about this judgment and continue to charge whole fees from the students.
The colleges even ruthlessly pressuring the students and the parents to pay the semester fees on time, which would result in serious consequences if not paid. Private colleges are still looking at their profit margin even during a pandemic. The second wave hit more badly than the first wave. half of the population is covid positive. and admitted to the hospital looking for the medicine, oxygen cylinder, and ICU wards. The grief situation as well as the financial expense in the medical treatment. Given the scarcity of beds, private hospitals are charging a huge amount to the patientsโ€™ families. They have no option but to comply. The medical expenses are an additional burden that they have to bear. The bills keep adding and resulted in borrowing .and then never adding a circle of depth began. In such a sad situation how can a student pay his fees?

The students not only have to give compulsory examinations but they also have to pay with the financial expenses. Owing to this expense, students in the middle and lower strata of society are thinking to drop out the college. They are taking up whatever odd jobs they can get with little pay to support their family. Many of them had plans to pursue degrees post-graduation, but they have no option but to give up given the circumstances. In certain families with more than two children, it is becoming an increasing burden for the earning member to keep up with the rising expenses.

Lack of income source, lack of money, and diversion of savings towards basic needs as well as medical expenditures are some of the reasons stated by students facing such a crisis. Even authorities are not assisting the common people. Government is silent on this issue. That’s the reason many students give theatre life as being hopeless by committing suicide. Students want the college to either waive off the fees or provide them with some aid or assistance. The absolute lack of understanding for students has been reflected by these colleges. The mental fatigue and pain caused by this constant pressure are harmful to the well-being of students and parents as well.
It is unfair on the part of private colleges to seek their profits during the pandemic situation. Instead of charging such a high amount, they should either waive it off for students going through a financial crisis or charge them just the tuition fee. The students are already facing mental pressure and anxiety. There is a lack of accessibility to online education existing already. Some have had to purchase laptops, good mobile sets, and costly data packs to attend classes. To assume that everyoneโ€™s financial condition will remain unaffected because they belong to a privileged background is wrong and fallacious.
Some colleges are giving excuses that they have to pay to there teachers. Therefore they have to ask for money. But it is not convincing enough for the students who have time and again asked for a breakup of the fee structure. The students are helpless at this point. Even after approaching multiple authorities, they have not received a helpful solution. We can help these needy students through our small contribution. We common people should assist those who are in need.

ONE WORLD ONE HEALTH

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday called for following a โ€œone earth, one healthโ€ approach to effectively deal with the coronavirus pandemic globally, and sought the support of the G7 grouping to lift patent protections for COVID-19 vaccines, during a virtual address at an outreach session of a summit of the bloc.

Calling for global unity, leadership, and solidarity to prevent future pandemics, Modi also emphasised on the special responsibility of democratic and transparent societies to deal with the challenge, according to an official statement.

Sources said Modiโ€™s call for adopting a โ€œone earth, one healthโ€ approach received support from German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

They said Australia and several other countries came out in strong support of Modiโ€™s call to waive patents on coronavirus vaccines to boost their production. India and South Africa have come out with the proposal at the World Trade Organisation.

The prime minister, speaking at the G7 outreach session titled โ€˜Building Back Stronger โ€“ Healthโ€™, also highlighted Indiaโ€™s โ€˜whole of societyโ€™ approach to fight the pandemic, while synergising the efforts of all levels of the government, industry and civil society.

World blood donor day

World Blood Donor Day takes place on 14 June each year. The aim is to raise global awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products for transfusion and of the critical contribution voluntary, unpaid blood donors make to national health systems. The day also provides an opportunity to call to action to governments and national health authorities to provide adequate resources and put into place systems and infrastructures to increase the collection of blood from voluntary, non-remunerated blood donors.

Safe blood and blood products and their transfusion are a critical aspect of care and public health. They save millions of lives and improve the health and quality of life of many patients every day. The need for blood is universal, but access to blood for all those who need it is not. Blood shortages are particularly acute in developing countries.

To ensure that everyone who needs safe blood has access to it, all countries need voluntary, unpaid donors who give blood regularly. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, despite limited mobility and other challenges, blood donors in many countries have continued to donate blood and plasma to patients who need transfusion. This extraordinary effort during a time of unprecedented crisis highlights the crucial role of well-organized, committed voluntary, non-remunerated blood donors in ensuring a safe and sufficient blood supply during normal and emergency times.

What is crypto and blockchain?

What is crypto?

Currently every country has its own currency regulated by its topmost federal bank. They are bought and sold and exchanged in the international currency markets like stocks. Owing to the popularity of the US in the last century and the stability and predictability of its economy, the dollar  has become the most popular and trusted currency all over. Almost all countries keep large reserves of dollars and most international trade are carried out with it. It’s the literal meaning of a โ€˜global currency’. But any true global currency must be regulated by some institute that represents the world just like UNO. But, on the contrary, the ‘global currencyโ€™ dollar $ is regulated by US top banks and that can definitely lead to certain manipulative advantages for the US. To offset this some countries have started to keep a basket of currency reserves including the likes of Euro. If the popularity of the dollar falls in future for whatever reason, other currencies may try to fill up the vacuum created by it.

Now the emergence of the internet has generated a new breed of global currencies, cryptocurrencies, which are regulated not by any country but by some companies.

Say someone starts a company called ABC Pvt Ltd which develops a digital platform and floats a new digital cryptocurrency called abxCoin (C). He simply links the value of C1 to $1 and makes them equal and connects it (C1) to many other currencies via the international currency market. Now one can see that this digital platform is accessible across all countries on the internet. Suppose any company in the US can buy C10000 by depositing $10000 in the bank account linked to his company ABC Ltd.ย  Also another company in India can buy C10000 by depositing โ‚น70,0000 (1$ = โ‚น70). If these Indian and US companies want to transact some random businessย  like import or export, they can easily do it with abxCoins as a mutually agreed upon common currency. But here their trust in between those companies is essential. Because ripping off anyone in this is very easy if someone is fly by night. But serious entrepreneurs can grow their business well.

Thus we have Bitcoins, dogecoin, Ethereum, etc. with some variations. Of course cryptocurrencies need not be pegged to 1 dollar as it was done above for simplicity.

Blockchain

One more important feature of cryptocurrencies is the security that they provide from hacking. A technology called Blockchain technology is used in it where a new transaction is linked to the series of old transactions and hacking is not easy like some hacker can hack an isolated transaction. In fact federal banks all over the world are now looking at ways they can also adopt this Blockchain technology for extra safety for their own currencies.

Is crypto currency legal?

In India, RBI issued a circular in 2018 directing the banks, NBFCs, and other payment service providers to not provide any services to the Crypto Exchange and to not have any commercial relations with them.

However, in 2020 the Supreme court declared the circular issued by RBI before as unconstitutional and lifted the ban.

In January of 2021, Govt issued a statement that it will introduce a bill and a sovereign digital currency will be created and all the private currencies will be banned.

However, currently there is no law in India that puts a ban on these cryptocurrency or declares them illegal.ย

US government office to begin giving visa talks with openings for Indian understudies.

The Minister Counselor for Consular Affairs at the US consulate on Sunday said in a meeting that the US mission in India is effectively working to oblige whatever number understudy visa candidates as could reasonably be expected in July and August, and working with their authentic travel stayed a first concern for it. Understudy visa candidates needn’t bother with a sped up arrangement to plan their visa meet. On June 14, we will open July and August arrangements for understudies, he added. He said that the US-bound understudies won’t need any verification of COVID-19 immunization to enter the country. They will require a negative report of their COVID-19 test taken inside 72 hours preceding their takeoff.

The government office will begin giving visa talks with openings for Indian understudies from Monday. We perceive the pressure and nervousness this has caused to understudies and their families, and we are effectively attempting to oblige whatever number understudy visa candidates as could be allowed in July and August. Working with genuine understudy travel to the United States remains a main concern for the US Mission to India, Heflin told PTI. At the point when I got some information about the rising vulnerability among the Indian understudies needing to go to the US, which had forced new travel limitations in May.

Understudies getting back to scholastic projects that resume on or after August 1 may head out to the United States as long as 30 days before the program resumes. There is no National Interest Exception needed in the present circumstance. Its suggested for proceeding with understudies examine their particular resumption plans with their individual colleges to foster a movement timeline. The National Interest Exceptions permit travel to the US for people whose passage is considered of public interest. They expect to begin an escalated two months of meeting understudy visa candidates on July 1. We will intend to open however many arrangements as we can securely oblige, in view of nearby pandemic conditions across India.Asked about misgivings identifying with immunization, the authority said verification of inoculation isn’t needed to enter the United States. Please note that evidence of a negative COVID-19 test outcome, taken inside 3days of your flight’s takeoff, is needed to load onto a flight and for passage into the United States.

While confirmation of inoculation isn’t needed to enter the United States, singular schools or establishments may set their own prerequisites. The US instruction framework works freely from the central government, and understudies ought to counsel intimately with their host organization to guarantee consistence with singular inoculation necessities,” he added. There are in excess of 4,500 certify colleges in the US that work self-governing, and the strategy embraced by one school for its understudies and training local area may not be equivalent to that for another one. It’s inquired as to whether an exemption will be considered for a parent who wishes to go with an understudy made a beeline for the US, the authority said guardians going to the country, all things considered, will be named vacationers.

Considering flooding COVID-19 diseases in India, President Joe Biden approved a movement restrict for certain non-foreigners from India under a Presidential Proclamation that became effective on May 4.Presidential Proclamation 10199 just applies to non-residents who have been truly present in India inside the 14 days going before their application for section to the United States. The US Embassy and US Consulates don’t give exhortation on explicit travel arranging. It is said that understudy visa candidates with a dropped arrangement should make another arrangement and that new understudy visa arrangements will be made accessible on a first-come, first-served basis. It is likewise inquired as to whether wards of somebody having a legitimate H1B visa are considered for NIE waiver, he said such individuals, who have distinct designs to travel and can exhibit their capability for a NIE, may contact the government office or consulate. To a question on whether close relatives of a US resident can get a facilitated visa if the US resident is wanting to travel soon, Heflin said assisted visa arrangements are arbitrated dependent on the candidate’s motivation of movement.

Bitcoin legalized for the 1st Time

El Salvador on 9th June made Bitcoin legal in their Country. It is the first country in the world to legalize the cryptocurrency. The law kept forward by the 39year old President Nayib Bukele was passed after it received 62 votes out of 84 votes. This law gives value to the digital currency just like the countryโ€™s main currency the US dollar.

According to the law, bitcoin must be accepted by the entities when offered as the payment for goods and services .Tax payments can also be made through the cryptocurrency. The dollar will be the dominant currency in the country while Bitcoin will also exist by the side.

In 2001, El Salvador completely dollarized its economy. It has no monetary policy of its own, it is linked to the monetary policies of the Federal Reserve in Washington.

The move was taken to stabilize and revive the economy and bring growth to the country. According the World Bank data, Remittances make up about $6 billion in 2019 which is about 20% of the El Salvadorโ€™s GDP (one of the highest ratios in the world).

Mr.Bukele said, through enabling transaction via bitcoins El Salvadorians could save transaction fee on banks and agencies. He also stated that the government would protect people from volatility of bitcoin prices by guaranteeing convertibility to dollars. In concern to Carbon footprint, he said he has asked the state-owned geo thermal electric company La Geo to connect renewable energy from the countryโ€™s volcano to the bitcoin facilities. The legal tender with bitcoin-dollar exchange rates set by the market will begin in 90 days. El Salvador will promote training and mechanism stated the law.

Child Labor and the miserable fate of unprivileged children.

Youth is the future of the country. if this statement is true. Then why our country is not able to eradicate the sin of child labor? we encounter the term child labor every time. and take it very casually. That’s the reason it still prevails within our society. we can find children doing work in

Every city, lane, and corner of society. We have been taught since our childhood that child labor is wrong. the future is in the hand of the young fellow who is making their livelihoods in factories, big industries, and local vendors and shops working endlessly.

Why this young fellow has to deprived of their education? why their childhood is stolen from them? why do they bear to do the work from such a young age? While other children are enjoying their childhood. Why some unprivileged kids have to work with heavy machinery and weapons under a huge risk to their health, just to earn a two-figure income to afford a single meal. children have to resort to working and earning, instead of learning. who is responsible for their worst situation? The ones who should be earning are the young and unemployed youth, who are sitting at home without any scope for jobs. who will take responsibility for them? The need of the hour is to provide these children education They are the future of India, and they deserve an education.

Child labor means exploitation of children through any work that deprives them of their childhood, interferes with their ability to attend regular school, and is mentally, physically, socially, or morally harmful.  The practice of child labor is a crime ad people employing it people are the biggest criminals of Indian society. Another reason why child labor is wrong is that by making a child work, we are decreasing the quality of our education system and spoiling the innocent life of that child.

These children are suffering in the dark world of mental and physical pressure. by allowing these children to work in our houses and societies, as by employing them we are spoiling their future and career.

child labor is the evil part of society and needs to be eliminated.

By taking the labor of children we are spoiling the life of an innocent child for their cheap labor and our selfish motives. If we want to maintain the quality of the education system, we have to educate children, especially those from rural areas who are deprived of education, basic amenities, and other advancement opportunities.

For the progress of society and our economy, this evil practice needs to be removed. so that our economy will be balanced so flawlessly that there will be no cases of poverty and child labor in the upcoming years. We should not forget that child labor arises from poverty, so we need to eradicate their poverty level through the power of education leading them towards their career goals.

The lack of knowledge and skill leads to child labor. Therefore the need for time is to increase the accessibility of education to everyone. we need to start moe initiatives like mid-day meal. to increase the reach of students to education.

Mask hai zaruri

Masks help stop germs. Many medical masks are made of soft materials that cover the nose and mouth. There are stretch cords that run behind the head or ears. They keep the mask in place.

Your mask helps to protect those around you
Masks are an easy barrier to help prevent your respiratory drops from reaching others. Studies show that masks reduce dripping when applied to the nose and mouth. You should wear a mask, even if you do not feel sick.

Masks should be used as part of a comprehensive plan of measures to reduce transmission and save lives; the use of a mask alone is not sufficient to provide adequate level of protection to COVID-19.

All right. Your mask protects others from any infection that you may be unknowingly carrying. It protects anyone you meet, including store staff, other customers, family and friends. Many are aware that they are wearing masks, especially to protect the most vulnerable people in our society, including the elderly and those with a high risk.

Digital Disparity.

Covid19 expanded the digital divide. And shows the disparities within the society between the rural and urban, rich and poor. Lockdown compelled the shift to the virtual model. some of the students managed to receive an education without any obstacles. but many unprivileged students have been deprived of it. resulted in drop out of college and institutes due to the financial crisis of lockdown. Before the pandemic differences prevail in access to education but corona widened the gap. Rural areas have severe internet connectivity problems but Half of Indiaโ€™s population is living in rural parts of the country.

India is the second-largest populated country in the world. But it is a developing country. to maintain education for all during the lockdown when the schools are shut is quite challenging. the digital divide between the government and private institutes can be witnessed. Virtual learning wasnโ€™t much challenging for private school students. Unlike the students of the government schools, who didnโ€™t have access to the digital equipment. the Unprivileged children can’t afford access to quality internet and gadgets. Thus being deprived of education. The right to education is meaningless in the covid scenario. The government needs to bridge the digital divide to ensure studentsโ€™ education. Some students are ahead of others. As many students drop out of school due to financial problems.

Access to the internet on their mobile phones is a matter of concern as well. The need of the time is to provide digital infrastructure and tools access to unprivileged ones to access online classes. The digital divide has led to incidences of student suicides. many students committed suicide after drop out. Even in urban areas, disparities prevail. those living in slumps and downtrodden areas can’t afford education.

The government needs to focus on technology and extending the vision of digital India.

Those who have access to education face many hurdles such as in assembling notes, in paying attention due to bad network coverage. Getting time to do self-study is also difficult. preparation of online tests is another problem. seeking notes from some of the online sources is also difficult because some websites charge for the subscription which is not possible for everyone. students have to sit in front of the computer screen for many hours and Practical knowledge is not possible during the pandemic because it is hard for the students to perform practical virtually. even for teachers, it is difficult to prepare presentations for the students.

pandemic hit increases our dependence on technology. The focus had always been on practical knowledge and skills. we are being actively tested for our knowledge without any proper structure of assessment. Most importantly, not all teachers are not good at technical stuff to manage classes or material distribution.

. COVID-19 also raised prominent questions about the need, significance, and value of virtual learning platforms. The majority of the students have been affected negatively and therefore the government should come up with such education policies that would benefit all the students. Common people also need to volunteer to lead a hand to needy people.

The complex paradigm of streams.

“Now what?”This question every student encounter in life after completing school. A career plan is the most significant and difficult question of life. Our whole life depends on this small question. Sometimes we choose our path and sometimes our society decides for us.

The question  โ€œWhat do I want to do in life?โ€ is hard to answer.

It is tough for a school student to find their path at such a young age, because of the complicated model of โ€˜streamsโ€™. Studying science means you are limited to the medical and the engineering line. Studying commerce means being captured in chartered accountancy, banking, and finance and learning humanities imply that I must choose to become a lawyer or journalist.

The problem is the high competition within society The tragic fact is that we can never come back from this model of education, studies, and streams. we don’t have the right to choose subjects that are a combination of different streams. The reason streams are a challenge for us is that they directly affect our careers. Choosing a career is choosing life. As a career is related to financial independence. The question became more significant. every parent expects from there child to pursue a career that has the reputation, high earning prospect, and quite popular in society. Boys, in particular, are supposed to choose a career that can support their families financially one day. Today passion and happiness don’t matter when it comes to a career. The thing that matters for society is the reputation of the career. For society, boys should not go for teaching jobs, fashion designing and cooking are something that society doesn’t consider ideal jobs. some jobs are called โ€˜feminine jobsโ€™ not meant for boys. Like cooking is related to females. Some jobs get undermined like fashion designing is compared to tailoring.

Students’ choices are also impacted badly by the stereotypes and repercussions. and they have to choose paths unwillingly as per society’s concern. Even though we are heading towards an impartial society, such differences prevail in our society. The โ€˜pay scaleโ€™ affects the choice of career. Women are still paid less and the gender pay gap continues to widen.

Lack of awareness of new opportunities is a major challenge that school students face. We are not aware of the options beyond the โ€˜visible careersโ€™. Visible careers are those careers that we see in everyday life, such as doctors, teachers, engineers, journalists, politicians, and businessmen. We lack knowledge about other options we have. There is a world beyond these visible careers: such as being a therapist, an urban planner, a singer, a beautician, a blogger.

so many jobs are available now because of the internet. such jobs can provide a great opportunity to the newcomer. Like social media marketing, a YouTuber, a blogger, a digital marketer. But the problem is students don’t have access to and knowledge of this career.

Your career should be based on your strengths. The best choice of career comes from oneโ€™s passions and hobbies. Your career should inspire you and be the reason for your existence. It is you who can decide your career, not others. and being yourself and the following passion makes you happier.

Traditional education system how much effective?

Covid Pandemic left many Indians unemployed. While unemployment has always been a cause of attention for India. But mandatory experience and training made it more worse and challenging. the lack of practical skills holds us back. The recent unemployment numbers among educated youth show the drawback of Indiaโ€™s faulty education system and the lack of the right learning opportunities for young professionals.

The government of India wanted to create a workforce of skilled professionals but the coronavirus pandemic made the situation drastic and critical. There was a time when a degree could help a person getting a desired job. But with more competition., a degree is not sufficient itself. The biggest issue is practical knowledge with theoretical knowledge. Classroom learning is more focused on theory. When students step into the professional world, they find themselves not capable enough to handle the work because of the drawbacks of our education system. Our country has educated unemployed people. Shows the inadequacies in our education system.

companies want educated fellows with practical skills. That our education system is unable to give. Because it is limited to academics. Youth lack new-age skills that companies need from their employees. With limited online and offline courses for industry-specific training such as engineering, IT, etc., Most young professionals lack confidence while dealing with problems at their workplace. Moreover, since schools, colleges and universities are following the traditional system of education. it acts as a hurdle when professionals come to face real-life circumstances.

Students need to develop new skills. So that student can learn something above education and makes students ready to be professionals. India has the potential to be a preferred destination for global sourcing. Skill development can bring this to reality by instilling more confidence in young professionals. As their skill increases their employability will increase, and ultimately lead to the nationโ€™s financial growth.

The government needs to assist Indiaโ€™s workforce informally trained. With immediate competition, we need to adopt better strategies too. we need to improve standards of education and adopt newer methods. The higher the standards of training and skill development, the better our workforce can be. The country National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) can also contribute to solving the problem by creating more awareness and come up with suitable programs that can help professionals.

Transformation can only come with the government. The education system, industries, and students collectively understand and recognized the significance of skill improvement.

A new version of Censorship.

As per the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MEITy), social media platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, and Instagram have to follow the new Guidelines of government failing which can lead to a ban. guidelines were issued in February 2021, and social media platforms had around 3 months to acquire these guidelines. The companies are yet to respond to the Intermediary Guidelines. The decision taken due to the fake headlines do nothing but spread fear among people.

According to the constitution, India is a democracy at least on pen and paper. However, certain powerful people in the Central Government, to strengthen power, are now trying to silence free speech on social media. Free speech is a right granted to all human beings globally. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) recognizes it as a fundamental right. India happens to be one having this right. This means, Indian citizens should have access to this right, and itโ€™s the governmentโ€™s responsibility to see that this right is being protected.

Yet, these powerful individuals within the Central Government, have time and again gone to unbelievable measures to control this right.

. The disappointed young people of today turn to social media to express their objections about everything they found mistaken or unsuitable. Be it a person of any class, culture, community, and religion. everyone turns to the internet. And the only way to check these critics would be by introducing โ€œAgreement Officersโ€.That is exactly what the government has done through its intermediary guidelines to check whoโ€™s saying what on the internet.

If this guideline came into being. There exists no mechanism for the common mass to raise their voices. The only time when the masses get to raise their voice is during the elections. But then again, itโ€™s the media that controls the elections these days. Unfortunately, reporting is done in such a way that weโ€™re persuaded in support of a particular political party. This plan, if achieved, will badly affect the very foundation of our democracy.

Criticism makes democracy strong. But these guidelines go against it.

Maybe government believes that criticism isnโ€™t important anymore and hence has concluded that the internet should be controlled. Itโ€™s dishonest of this country to say that other countries are trying to crush free speech.

The government needs to come into a discussion with the social media companies and the common people. But the government didn’t give a single thought to it. It is nothing but censorship in disguise.

The Cloud Kitchen

Mumbai is the city of dreams. The streets of this city are bustling with people, and there is a certain sense of urgency possessed by everyone who passes by. It is, after all India’s financial capital. Another important aspect of everyday life are the city’s dabbawalas.

Since 1890. dressed in white outfit and traditional Gandhi cap, Mumbai army of 5,000 Dabbawalas are fulfilling the hunger of almost 2,00,000 Mumbaikars with home cooked food that is lug between home and office daily. They are a lunchbox delivery and return system that delivers hot lunches from homes and restaurants to people at work. The lunchboxes are picked up late morning, delivered predominantly using bicycles and railway trains. and returned empty in the afternoon.

They have worked through the worst situations. Rains, floods, terror attacks but never seen something like this before. The pandemic has disrupted the delivery services, since most of the offices are closed and Mumbai’s workforce are managing work from home. A veteran tiffinwala stated that his team of seven dabbawalas used to make around 20 deliveries before, but now, not more than four. This forced him to go to his hometown in Pune to do farming, as he had to make ends meet for him and his family.

Ad Covid changed culinary culture, delivering hot lunches that would fetch dabbawalas Rs.14000-20,000 monthly has now reduced to almost nil. Following lockdown, around 3000 dabbawalas from many parts of Maharashtra especially Pune, Ambegaon returned back to their hometowns due to insufficient source of income. When offices started opening up last June, they were able to restart their services but with 300 dabbawalas. In the second lockdown, there is work for only 100-150. Mumbai dabbawalas saw their business plunge by nearly 90%.

Struggling to resume services, they found a new breed of tiffin takers-Covid care facilities, poeple in home quarantine, isolation centres and healthcare workers in hospitals. As times are changing, it was time for the approach of the Mumbai dabbawalas to change and run parallel to the current scenarios.

A recent news article stated,”There is no turning back the wheel and the tiffin carriers will no longer just be dropping off lunch boxes as they kick off the next era with the ‘cloud kitchen’. ”

Now, the Mumbai dabbawalas have created a website where poeple can directly place their orders. One can choose between monthly and annual subscriptions and they have also introduced online money transfers to make payments easier. Dabba services have always depended upon cash transactions and they faced financial difficulties during the pandemic.

The idea is to use their unique sorting skills to diversify, generate employment, bring stability and pride in what is India’s oldest food delivery chain. This website will also allow customers to choose between mini-meals and regular meals and will provide a wide menu of items to choose from.

This will be a huge transformation for the Mumbai dabbawalas who are now exploring new options and advancing in technology. They will rustle up a seven day rotating menu of home-style lunches in a 1,000 sq feet “cloud kitchen” at Saki Naka aimed at time-starved millenials. Some of the dabbawalas and their wives are currently being trained and they should be launching their service by mid-June.

live-In Relationships Illegal or not?

Denial of granting protection to a couple who are in a live-in relationship only because it is socially and morally unacceptable. is it justified on the part of Punjab and Haryana High Court? The boy and the girl had been in a living relationship that goes against the girl’s parents will.

The couple asked for protection from the court for their life and liberty after being frightened by their families. Unfortunately, they were denied protection. the denial of their right under Article 21, in this case, is inappropriate. The judgment by the court seizes their identity as per Article 21 as well as the right to โ€œlife or libertyโ€.Article 21 declares that every individual has the right to their life or personal liberty. Therefore to secure their right the couple moved before the Punjab and Haryana High Court for the protection under Article 21, which is dismissed by the court on the ground of social and moral unacceptability. while rejecting the petition, the high court interpreted that the term โ€œpersonโ€ means those who are recognized by law as being capable of having legal rights and being bound by legal duties, not a couple. After getting married, a man and woman are considered capable of having legal rights and duties known as rights in the institution of marriage. But only when the marriage has been done as per their respective marriage laws in force in India.

The denial of the right to life and liberty is completely inappropriate in the law. Since no law in India criminalizes pre-marriage, it would be more like legislation by the judiciary to hold pre-marriage illegal based on social morals. There is no force of law in an opinion that has been embraced by the conservative majoritarian masses of India who find it illegitimate. The decision rendered by the Punjab and Haryana High court erred in ascertaining the aforesaid point. In place of assistance, the couple became the subject of discrimination held by the conservative majoritarian masses.

mental illness during pandemic

Mental Illness during Pandemic.
Covid19 pandemic hit the masses most severely mentally. The trauma from looking for the medicine, hospital beds to dealing with the mass of dead bodies, from being left jobless to mass migration and suffering. These all circumstances severely impacted our mental state. A tremendous number of people have lost their dear ones. And some are fighting for their life. While their loved ones and family are busy in the constant search of medicines and oxygen cylinders. Those who are safe are also suffering from mental illness by looking at their environment. Full of grief, devastation. This time is very hard. And financial crisis makes this problem. So many families especially of the lower class. Left without money and aid. Those who earn daily and labor are struggling a lot. These financial bottlenecks resulted in mental illness. Especially those students who are handling the digital divide. Faces stress and mental illness. All students couldn’t afford online education due to a lack of digital gadgets. That acts as a hindrance to the growth and education of unprivileged students. The cost of academic education and institution creates a financial burden for the students and the family. some can deal with it. But those who couldn’t eventually end up dropping out there college and institute. That leads to mental stress among the students. Recently, the cases of suicide by students increase manifold. That shows how mentally covid have impacted the students. Therefore cases of suicides are reported manifold. Students who are privilege enough. Also facing mental trauma. Online education also created an additional problem, technical glitches, electricity problems, access to devices, are major problems related to online education. That cause mental stress, headache as well as eyesight problems. This problem can be overcome through everyone’s participation. All need to contribute. By providing financial aid to the needy. And by including in the conversation as much as possible with our friends and family in this hard time. Chatting with each other acts as a medicine to cure the ailment of mental stress.

Farmer’s contribution in every meal

Food is one of the basic necessity to live. Farmerโ€™s play an important role in the food we eat everyday. The one who feed us doesnโ€™t have proper food in their plates. Life is so unfair when it comes to give the equal reward to anyone for their hardwork and dedication. Our system works in one way direction where the rich gets everything with less hardwork but the poor suffers a lot even after putting their life on stake.

Many farmerโ€™s take loans from the bank to buy seeds and proper equipment’s for farming. Multiple years rainfall doesnโ€™t happen due to which their crops gets damaged. The interest of their loans and family pressure makes them take drastic steps like suicide or hurting themselves. The condition of farmers are not good in our country. Government should take into consideration about the challenges and hurdles faced by every farmer. We all should unite and appreciate their efforts.

The one who provide us food should be treated like a God. Farmerโ€™s are just another Godโ€™s form for which we should give them respect and honor them. Life seems very beautiful at a distance, but when we dig into the reality of farmerโ€™s condition is not at all good. We all should pray for farmerโ€™s before we take any meal in a day. There is no way you can repay the sacrifices and dedication of any farmer in the whole world.

Just a Prayer can keep you grounded to the roots.

Students misery

The covid pandemic not only impacted adults but students also. At one place the children lost their childhood and on the other hand, students are concerned about their career, future that seem bleak to them due to covid devastating impact on the economy.

one of the most significant reasons is finance and the need for funds. Students are concerned because the global pandemic has created havoc in the employment sector. This resulted in many job losses in the informal sector. As the country is closed so those earning money daily and business have to suffer. The question of school, college, and tuition fees is another issue. This, in turn, has been magnified in the lives of the students and the youth of the country. The financial crisis within the family has bothered almost the majority of the population, especially the students.

The very first concern is the digital divide. Accessibility of digital gadgets especially among the lower economic classes. Eventually, which means withdrawing from school to some students. Being already distorted by financial emergencies, the necessity of digital devices acts as a hindrance in the way of student learning. leading to many students dropping out from formal courses and institutes. increasingly pitted against the highly competitive labor market with most being trapped in the vicious cycle of underpaid labor or disguised unemployment.

The government too is not in a position to solve this problem of digital devices because of treatment and aid expenses.

this economic crisis has an unfortunate effect on the mind of the students. The financial dependence on the family, often severe, mostly reduces them as isolated victims. It also hinders the access to academic opportunities of the student. . Many family members getting affected and the huge expense occurs on treatment, amidst the acute scarcity of oxygen cylinders and other medical pieces of equipment.

The students are facing the problem of academic costs at the same time when a lump sum amount is required for admission failing which the seat might get canceled.

Further, the debt trap will lead to a greater burden in the future for repayment with interest, leading to more psychological suffering. The hostility between maintaining academic costs as well as fending for health expenditure has had severe effects on the young minds, putting their future and aspirations at stake. In this situation, a and well-planned approach is needed to address the issue of financial crisis which can be aided by the government.

Is it a Happy New Year?

The Year 2021, this year seems like giant waves of oceans going down and down. Our country gets badly downtrodden due to the social, political, and economic issues that continue to prevail, due to an invisible enemy in the form of the deadly virus.

This virus shows no mercy to anyone doesn’t matter which class, culture, and religion person belongs to; it spares no one. As the cases went up, so did the false WhatsApp forwards, chaos, panic-buying, and fear among people. The increased cases and dilemma is frightful people. As people taking hurt over their mental health, too.

From the news of unknown viruses to fearing even a slight increase in body temperature, to look for medicines and oxygen cylinders, people have experienced it all. In the beginning. To โ€˜deal with a spontaneous and devastating situation the Indian government announced an out-and-out 40-day lockdown. Everything came to a standstillโ€”except divisive journalism and discrimination.

While most people donโ€™t have the privilege and luxury to stay home, quarantine isnโ€™t a blessing for many. it lead rise in mental illness since the coronavirus outbreak. The level of stress and anxiety has heightened.

The apprehension about job security, draining of savings, or unavailability of basic things for survival, ambiguity. People who were already suffering from mental illnesses looked upon engaging themselves in outdoor activities and meeting their dear ones as the only coping mechanism. Now they have no option but to dive into the same misery they were battling. along with that crimes such as theft, murder, extortion, molestation, etc., are increasing at an unpredicted rate

COVID-19 is just not another death-dealing health hazard. It has more profound implications that society would have to bear post lockdown too.

Enlightenment as a mass betrayal

The radio, newspaper, and TV. All are mediums of communication. They all were invented to enlighten human beings. Every creation has its purpose So they have. It’s true that for daily information we depend on this medium but does this products assisting us. Or it’s just deception. The reality is they are a tool in hands of cooperation to earn profit. And increase their business. Providing information is just a business. we get only that much information that cooperates giants want. As half of the media is dominated by politicians and giant cooperates. That influences their credibility. Hard to believe but this is a bitter truth. this invention acts like a tool in those hand who have money. consumerism is created intentionally through media in the form of advertisement. Advertisement creates a desire in human beings. This desire resulted in more consumption thus adding profit to the big giants. That shows how people are betrayed. Today content is created in such a way that doesn’t make a person intellectual. But merely a passive consumer.
In this gamble and deception, along with corporate giants, politicians are also involved. They use the mediums to propagate their message. Thus people consider the propagated message as truth. Start believing it and thus there ideology and perspective got to change. These tactics can be a hindrance to the democracy and sovereignty of the country. The enlightenment that media promise somehow vanishes because of the huge enrollment of money. People themself need to enlighten. By becoming the active audience by actively analyzing, understanding every message. We can be saved from this mass deception through the mass medium. Just we need to be vigilant in our approach whenever we encounter a media product. we need to understand the hidden motive behind that content. We need to know who is the creator of the content. And what purpose the content fulfills for the creator. Thus content by media or medium of communication needs to be observed. To better understand them. To save ourselves from enlightenment as mass deception.

June # The Pride Month

June is declared as the Pride Month to celebrate and create awareness about the LGBTQ+ Community. LGBTQ stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer. The Rainbow flag is LGBTQ Pride Flag, the colors represent the diversity of the community. The flag has been redesigned this year to include intersex people to the movement which was led by Valentine Vecchietti of Intersex Equality Rights UK.

The whole Pride month will be organized with various events, activities and initiatives to make people proud of themselves for what they are and shout out to the society with pride for their rights and show to the society the changes that have happened so far and those yet to happen.

Origin:

The Pride Month is celebrated now because of the riot that happened in the past. ‘The Stonewall Uprising’ took place in New York on 28th June, 1969. American Constitution had laws banning homosexuality back then, the New York police often raided Queer bars and clubs and harassed Queer community people. Stonewall Inn was one of the most famous bar that allowed people to be themselves, it was raided frequently too but on that particular day the queer people did not take the slap and fought back which has brought changes in the world for better. The year after the riot, 1st Official Pride Parade took place on the Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, with Christopher Street Liberation Day and the Parade is continued every year as a Tradition till date.

In INDIA:

Kolkataโ€™s Pride march on 2nd July 1999 is the first ever march that was organized in India and it was called โ€˜The Kolkata Rainbow Pride Walkโ€™. There were only about 15 participants in the event. The year 2018 was the joyous year for the pride parade as the article 377 was shattered down and the LGBTQ+ community all over the country marched as freer citizens that year. After removal of the article many came out of their closet and opened up. India is still more conservative and the discrimination against LGBT community is prevailing. This situation could be changed by educating in schools, colleges and creating more awareness in the society and making people understand about the community.

Everyone should take pride in supporting, spreading love and knowledge about the LGBTQ+ People.

Nepotism in today’s Bollywood

we are living in a feudal society, but still, nepotism permeates everyone. however, the film industry is trapped in nepotism.
Nepotism can be defined as an act of using power or position in an unethical manner to get the dear ones in the same field. It not only exists in business but also in the Bollywood industry. this topic has been raised many times in the Bollywood industry and unfortunately having a negative impact rather than a positive impact on the lives of celebrities. Before the incident of Sushant Singh Rajput, this topic was not discussed seriously. But after his death, Bollywood was trapped in nepotism and many celebrities were interrogated. many celebrities talked about nepotism openly. Some talked positively and some in a negative manner.
Kangana Ranaut came into the industry in 2006 with the movie Gangster. She was the one to raise this topic negatively as she labelled filmmaker Karan Johar as the flag bearer of nepotism in the show Koffee with Karan. Due to this, she gained prominence. She also called Tapsee Panu and Swara Bhaser outsider. After Sushant Singh Rajput death many actors were trolled and questioned on nepotism . Because of this, many celebrities also lost fan following.
We often say that some star kids are excellent actors and done their work very well. But we said some not all because some star kids don’t take their work seriously and due to the lack of seriousness films get flopped. Nothing is wrong with exercising power based on one’s family background/star kids, but at least chance should be given to the newcomers or outsiders and even to those who don’t have any connections or godfather in Bollywood. So, they can make their names and show their talent to the public.

Real Happiness

Today in this consumerist world, the actual meaning and definition of happiness got changed. Earlier the happiness lies within the relations between the people. But growing industrialization and materialistic nature. Change the meaning of happiness for common people. today’s happiness is not the smile of the people. But the luxury became the source of joy and happiness. Social media and the internet managed to make human beings individualistic. Relation and ties among the masses are just a matter of messages. The real happiness now lies in materials and luxuries. Humans want more and more. The never-ending demand and grief of the human have wiped the concept of the real happiness. It changed its meaning. It alters its values. The early tradition, rituals, and get together don’t matter anymore. Today rituals are just a matter of fun. People don’t believe in meeting with each other. Humans today happy in the isolation. With all the materialistic objects and comfort. But if material and luxury are not happiness. Then what is happiness? It is something that we get after seeing someone happy. It is something we get after helping someone else. By looking after anyone else than yourself. It means keeping aside the greed and doing generous work. It means sidelining your sorrow, ego for someone else happiness. The sad fact is that today humans do not look after happiness. Now the happiness doesn’t matter to humans. Human is lost somewhere in the consumerist world. And so human happiness also lost.
The need of the time is to look for the real happiness. To realize that real happiness comes when you do something for someone else. Materialistic things can give you comfort and luxurious life. But it can’t give you that warmth that happiness that feeling that a real human being can give you. Human being need to understand his/her role as a human And need to look after other people to there dearest one. So that along with happiness ,humanity can be saved.

Biden Rules begins

President Joe Biden has baited office in a country looking prominently different than it did on his forefather’s inauguration Day.Covid19 has killed more than 4,00,000 Americans, with a big part of socio-economic toll impute to federal Mismanagement, The US has also renounced its role as leader of the free world, squabbled with democratic allies while keeping authority populist’s everywhere, snicker at its post-truth misadventures. This month’s attack on the capital represented the domestic broadcast has poisoned the polity. In the short, the new administration has its work cut out invent correctives at multiple levels. It is a mighty challenge. But democracy is hypothetical on elections making a difference.

The promise of a new dawn is both powerful and credible. The diversity, temperance, and experience of the incoming cabinet strongly suggest that they have a good measure of the problems at hand, and the ambition to attempt solutions one clear aspirational target is 100 million doses of covid19 vaccines n the first 100 days. Then, Janet L Yellen, who will be the new treasury secretary and America’s top economic diplomat, has verbalized as priorities both addressing the economic damage of the pandemic at home and repairing relationships with various allies abroad to take on china’s (illegal, unfair and abusive practices) collectively.
After the vain of institutions and Clutter or flailing seen in the Trump years, it will indeed take solid international cooperation to revitalize the global rules-based order. The incoming secretary of state Antony Blinking has shown a welcome so be saying,(We’ll engage the world, not as it was, but as it is)Pragmatically speaking, rebukes on human rights issues for India may be part and parcel of Washington’ liberal festival alongside the many Indian and American in the Biden Team.

Women empowerment

Amongst covid-19 pandemic, 2021 budget has potential to increase women labor force participation up to 2 percent this year.

Nirmala Sitaraman, Minister of finance, the government of

India shared that budget 2021 has the potential to increase the employment of

women. COVID-19 pandemic had disproportionately impacted women

forcing them to drop out of the workforce. The women labor force participation according to the center comes down from 25 percent to 21 percent, due to job loss by women. In urban India only 12 out of every 100 still employed are women, a shocking

statistic, down from the already low 18. No doubt the covid 19 pandemics have resulted in many challenges such as pay disparities and expensive child care is an economic downturn that hit women workers measurably harder than men. Whenever the economy shrinks people lose jobs, then look for another job but women arenโ€™t sitting it out so much as being pushed out by disproportionate job loss,

lack of child care, pay disparities, and lack of public policy to support working women. women with children are much more likely to report that working from home has hurt their productivity and affected their careers  .there are three drivers of increased women labor force participation 1.Jobs that exist in locations where the woman has family support.2) Contemporary and new skilling (like digital marketing, for instance) that allows for marketability3) A government mandate that enables small businesses to be rewarded for hiring more women. The allowance of women to work in all shifts is a move towards reducing the gender divide brought in by COVID-19. This will help industries such as IT and BPO in Special Economic Zone’s, manufacturing companies in sectors such as Textiles, Pharma- as well as large organizations with a national presence. The textile industry, one of India’s ancient industries that employ the largest numbers of women has received a big stimulus with the announcement of seven Textile Parks. The third aspect which would allow small businesses to be rewarded for hiring women has not seen any pull in any of the budgets presented in the few last years. Large organizations in metropolitan cities have already bought the business case for both genders that led to women’s employment being enhanced. It is the 2 and 3 level metropolitan cities and towns that need the influence of involvement. And this is where there is a large population of women – educated, career-seeking, and yet unable to earn

reasonable money due to the non-availability of jobs matching their aspirations. As per data, young women in the age group of 20-24 across urban locales, are more interested in being employed than similar-aged women in rural India. As such, this is a very important talent pool, waiting to be engaged. The BPO and micro-enterprises in these locations will require a stimulus to engage women more proactively. Had the budget addressed this, by providing a bit small, yet encouraging a sum of money to employers of women, India would have seen a jump in women’s job creation to almost double-digit increases, which will have a multiplier effect on the economy.

World day against child labour- Prevalence of child labour

Children around the world are routinely engaged in paid and unpaid forms of work that are not harmful to them. However, they are classified as child labourers when they are either too young to work, or are involved in hazardous activities that may compromise their physical, mental, social or educational development. In the least developed countries, slightly more than one in four children (ages 5 to 17) are engaged in labour that is considered detrimental to their health and development.

Africa ranks highest among regions both in the percentage of children in child labour โ€” one-fifth โ€” and the absolute number of children in child labour โ€” 72 million. Asia and the Pacific ranks second highest in both these measures โ€” 7% of all children and 62 million in absolute terms are in child labour in this region.

The Africa and the Asia and the Pacific regions together account for almost nine out of every ten children in child labour worldwide. The remaining child labour population is divided among the Americas (11 million), Europe and Central Asia (6 million), and the Arab States (1 million). In terms of incidence, 5% of children are in child labour in the Americas, 4% in Europe and Central Asia, and 3% in the Arab States.

While the percentage of children in child labour is highest in low-income countries, their numbers are actually greater in middle-income countries. 9% all children in lower-middle-income countries, and 7% of all children in upper-middle-income countries, are in child labour. Statistics on the absolute number of children in child labour in each national income grouping indicate that 84 million children in child labour, accounting for 56% of all those in child labour, actually live in middle-income countries, and an additional 2 million live in high-income countries.

WhatsAppโ€™s new privacy policy.

Identifiable living individual and includes names, email Ids, ID
card numbers, physical and IP addresses. Data is the large
collection of information that is stored in a computer or on a
network. Data is collected and handled by entities called data
fiduciaries. The processing of this data has become an
important source of profits for big corporations. Companies,
governments, and political parties find it valuable because
they can use it to find the most convincing ways to advertise
online. The physical attributes of data where data is stored,
where it is sent, where it is turned into something useful are
called data flows.

WhatsAppโ€™s decision to delay the update of its privacy policy,
following a backlash from its users, is an implicit
acknowledgement of the increasing role played by
perceptions about privacy in the continued well-being of a
popular service. Problems for the Facebook-owned app
started earlier this January when it announced an update to
its terms of service and privacy policy, according to which users would no longer be able to opt out of sharing data with
Facebook.

February 8 was kept as the deadline for the new terms to be
accepted. This triggered a mass withdrawal from WhatsApp,
the likes of which it has never encountered, not even in the
aftermath of the Cambridge Analytical scandal, which did
bring a lot of bad press to its parent, or when the messaging
appโ€™s co-founders called it quits a few years ago. The
WhatsApp policy update has clearly spooked many users,
who, concerned about their privacy getting compromised,
have shifted to alternative platforms such as Signal and
Telegram. WhatsApp has asked for data which contains your account
information such as Phone number, the name attached to
the account, the profile photo you currently have for
WhatsApp, the device you are using, the time when you have
been online, all your contacts, all group names of which you
are a part of, the device type, the IP address, device build
number, device manufacturer, details of the web/desktop
version and the platform which is used for WhatsApp Web,
your Status.

It also has the exact time when you set the
current profile photo and the current status message. The list
includes all contacts with whom you would have chatted on
WhatsApp, and only the mobile phone numbers are
mentioned. It also has your settings for the app, including the
privacy settings for Last Seen, Profile Photo, About Privacy

and Status Privacy. It also includes a list of the all numbers
you have blocked and whether you have Read Receipt on or
off. The issue has once again raised questions about what
constitutes legitimate uses of data and how businesses,
governments and political parties can and cannot use data .A

formulating a national data protection law for India and its people to safeguard there interest.
