‘Gently falls the bakula’ by Sudha Murty

Gently falls the bakula is written by Sudha Murty.

The story starts with the two main characters Shrikant & Shrimati who are neighbours in a trivial village Hubli. They both are shown as cut throat competitors in schools and later their story turned into a teenage romance. Though, they were neighbours there was a history of rivalry between Shrimati and Shrikant โ€˜s families. But their love kept blooming like the bakula flowers on the bakula tree which stand tall between Shrikant and Shrimati โ€˜s bedroom.

After their schooling, Shrimati decided to study History and Literature at a local college, Shrikant whereas got selected at IIT Bombay and their love story turned into a series of love letters which they wrote to each other.

Despite of the rivalry which existed between Shrikant and Shrimati โ€˜s family, they both got married. Shrikant got a job in Bombay and Shrimati got an offer to study History in America by Professor Collins. Shrikant accepted his job offer at Bombay whereas Shrimati had to decline the offer to study abroad so that she could move to Bombay with Shrikant. This really highlights patriarchy and how it is sustaining through ages. Shrimati sacrificed her passion for history only because she was married to Shrikant.

Shrikant, who has now entered the corporate world was so self-loathed in his progress such that he was now taking Shrimati for granted. Shrimati, was also being ill-treated by Gangakka (Shrikantโ€™s mother) and was feeling dreadful and lonely in the crowded city of Bombay. Shrikant was always exhausted by his corporate job and had no time to keep his marriage alive.

Shrimati had never imagined her subtle, beautiful and modest life in Hubli would change into loneliness and dark days in Bombay. Moreover, Shrikantโ€™s affection for Shrimati would deteriorate with days passing by, fights and arguments started taking place between them.

Shrimati was tired of her dreadful life in Bombay and decided to look after her first love, History because her second love Shrikant was diminishing. She contacted Professor Collins who had proposed her to study History in Asian university in America. Eventually, Professor Collins proposed the same offer for her but this time Shrimati had made up her mind to follow her dreams, follow who she is and follow what she wants to be.

The story classically ends, Shrimati leaving India and Shrikant not able to change anything about it.

The Bakula flower which was signified as the love between Shrimati and Shrikant had fallen gently as the title says โ€˜Gently falls the bakulaโ€™.

The novel, is a tale of a marriage getting failed due to lack of time, communication and self-pride. Shrimati chose herself at the end signifies how important it is to follow our dreams. Though, the story ends at a sad note, the end of the novel totally gives justice to the title.

IS INDIA PREPARED FOR THE THIRD WAVE ?

Immunity, developed after the first wave, is not widespread. The number of people who remained unaffected because of cautionary steps taken in the first step may have been large. Immunity can also fade. Someone infected earlier can get reinfected but we know that the protection is still very high after eight months.

ย In 2019, when the virus emerged, it was a generalist. It could infect many mammals and was not a tightly human-adaptive virus. The lineage continued for a long period. In the second phase, which started in October 2020, the virus became fitter. “It was a key that could fit many locks,” the expert said adding that with the increase in the transmission, the key became more refined.

Safe Girls

Itโ€™s always better to view a situation in its totality. Many times when we look at a situation, we tend to view only a part of it because we are already biased in our approach. Safety of girls and women in India is a grave issue. To tackle the problem, a multi-thronged tactics is required. Skewed sex-ratio, โ€˜commodificationโ€™ of the female body through media and other popular means, patriarchal mind-set, lax justice system etc are some of the reasons why there is apparently an increase in incidents of assault on girls and women.

First and foremost, exemplary punishment would be the best method of sending the correct message throughout the society. Potential criminals will be deterred once they see that justice is done and it is done within a time framework.

Secondly, skewed sex ratio is bound to bring crimes into picture. India needs to be educated that girls should be allowed to live. Killing girls in the womb must be stopped. Again, exemplary punishment to the offenders will go a long way in improving the situation.

Advertisements, films, television serials need to portray women as human beings and not just as sex-agents. Women and girls, like all other human beings, exist for many things apart from satisfying and fulfilling needs of the body.ย  Presently, female element is being used for โ€˜pepperingโ€™ the show, the advertisement or the film. It settles the female with the concept ofย โ€˜masalaโ€™ย in our minds. These along with patriarchal brining up give a kind of licence to the criminalโ€™s mind to venture into the territory of violence

ARE E-BOOKS STILL TRENDING ?

Do you prefer reading an e-book or a physical version? It might be a surprise, but for most people, old school print on paper still wins.

Publishers of books in all formats made almost $26 billion in revenue last year in the U.S., with print making up $22.6 billion and e-books taking $2.04 billion, according to the Association of American Publishersโ€™ annual report 2019. Those figures include trade and educational books, as well as fiction.

While digital media has disrupted other industries such as news publishing and the music business, people still love to own physical books, according to Meryl Halls, managing director of the Booksellersโ€™ Association in the U.K.

โ€œI think the e-book bubble has burst somewhat, sales are flattening off, I think the physical object is very appealing. Publishers are producing incredibly gorgeous books, so the cover designs are often gorgeous, theyโ€™re beautiful objects,โ€ she told CNBC.

People love to display what theyโ€™ve read, she added. โ€œThe book lover loves to have a record of what theyโ€™ve read, and itโ€™s about signaling to the rest of the world. Itโ€™s about decorating your home, itโ€™s about collecting, I guess, because people are completists arenโ€™t they, they want to have that to indicate about themselves.โ€

Genres that do well in print include nature, cookery and childrenโ€™s books, while people prefer to read crime, romantic novels and thrillers via e-reader, according to Nielsen Book International.

Itโ€™s more than a decade since Amazon launched the Kindle, and for Halls, there is also a hunger for information and a desire to escape the screen. โ€œItโ€™s partly the political landscape, people are looking for escape, but they are also looking for information. So, they are coming to print for a whole, quite a complex mess of reasons and I think โ€ฆ itโ€™s harder to have an emotional relationship with what youโ€™re reading if itโ€™s on an e-reader.โ€

Even animals are better than humans

I think every pet owner, or a self-proclaimed animal lover will agree to the fact that we don’t need an excuse to have the love that we feel for our animal friends, they are SIMPLY the best in all of our lives.

The Animals Will Save Your Life. All of these beautiful things, and animals can see things that people don’t notice … many times, the animals, and entire families are on board, warn them that something isn’t right, or if it is an intruder, in a diabetic coma on a house on fire, a gas leak, or even cancer.

Our pets are, and this is an amazing way to never stop, and with the support of the us, and make us laugh when we need it the most. I know for sure is that she’s just been awesome, and don’t do it on purpose…but for his eccentric antics, we will always make us laugh even when we don’t feel like it!
Pets are not. They don’t betray the faith or stab you in the back.

They are not searching for the perfect fairy tale, a novel, they are mentally unstable, and when they find out that it was all an illusion.

The animals are not hungry for material things.

They have only two genders, and don’t kid yourself that there is more to them.

They don’t know anything about, jealousy, or a one.

They do not have a religion at all. They are not willing to kill or be killed in front of an imaginary character, that no one can see.

They don’t have to fight.

They will not have to commit horrific acts of violence. When a pack of wolves, the traces of a deer, to the point of exhaustion and tears in pieces alive, but it seems cruel, but they do so only in order to survive. It’s not like it 4 times in a 4-year-old white South African girl, with a table and raped her while her parents are all dead on the ground. There must be a better to tear a rabbit into pieces to feed to the chickens, it is not the same as the 20 and the men who took part in the cutting off of the head of a Norwegian girl who, after he has raped her, and then posted a video of her with her parents.

They live in harmony with their surroundings. And, except in the cases where they have been put on the wrong locations, or other actions by the people, without causing any damage.

Except when there is an imbalance in nature that may be caused as a result of human intervention, not to reproduce it in such great numbers that they will destroy their own environment. They will be in proportion to the risk to the continuation of life as we know it today.

They don’t know anything about the past or the future, and they will do their best to live in the moment, and they don’t make yourself sick with worry over the events of which they may not be able to change it.

They’re not looking for the answers to drugs , gambling, or other unhealthy addictions.

Except when they are closed, or are in non-natural conditions, they are not repulsively fat.

Each and every class, from the octopus, to the horse, is a very attractive age. They will give up their life for their descendants, as well as each individual species will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that their child has a healthy maturity. No one uses it or sells it , the joke , ridicule, or the like to starve on their own.

Many of them are beautiful. Irbis, horses, cheetahs, gazelles, hummingbirds, to start with. There is no doubt that the homo sapiens species may also have been a beautiful animal, but it is only in the prime of his life, and fitness. You just have to look around the mall to find out the truth about it.

I fully understand that the human race is one of nature’s extreme experiments, which do not work. The study shows that the danger of extinction is the fate of every kind. We can be our own death, to nature, to work, and I don’t think that’s the planet earth and the creatures that we have shared with the loss of his tears.

Food and nutrition tips during self-quarantine

The main diet focus for COVID patients is to consume foods that would help rebuild muscle, immunity and energy levels.Nutrition plays a significant role for both, the COVID-19 patients and those who are on the path of recovery. During COVID-19, the body gets weakened and it continues for days even after recovering from the symptoms. Thus, it becomes essential to consume the right kind of diet for a speedy and complete recovery of the body. Whole grains like ragi, oats or amaranth are rich sources of complex carbohydrates. Chicken, fish, eggs, paneer, soya, nuts and seeds are some good sources of protein. Healthy fats like walnuts, almonds, olive oil, mustard oil are recommended during these days. To boost oneโ€™s immunity, one should take turmeric milk once a day.

What to take and what not to

Make a plan and buy/order only what you need:

No panic buying. Assess what you already have at home and plan your intake. This way you can avoid food waste and allow others to access the food they need.

Be strategic about the use of ingredients:

Prioritise the consumption of fresh products, use fresh ingredients and those that have a shorter shelf life first. If fresh products, especially fruits, vegetables and reduced-fat dairy products continue to be available, prioritise these over non-perishables.

Prepare home-cooked meals:

If you are not run down by fever or other COVID-19 issues, it is better to prepare nutritious meals for yourselves at home. Some examples of healthy recipes with accessible ingredients may also be found below. If your city or town has the option of โ€œcontact-lessโ€ home-delivery of food where no human interaction is required, thus supporting self-quarantine and isolation measures, use that. But prioritize the items from reliable businesses that you are sure to follow strict food hygiene requirements.

Limit your salt intake:

If you use canned, frozen or processed foods, remember they can contain high levels of salt. Go easy on use of salt when cooking and when at the table for meals. Use fresh or dried herbs and spices for added flavour instead. Cut back if you use excess fats. Fats, contrary to popular belief arenโ€™t all bad. Too much fat can cause multiple health issues like obesity, heart disease, fatty livers, etc. But the body needs a small number of healthy fats to ensure proper nutrition. Our heart also needs a bit of fat to run smoothly.

Stay hydrated:

Whether you need water to stay cool, or to flush out harmful chemicals of drugs or metabolic processes out of your body, drinking adequate water is important for you.

Eat fresh fruits and vegetables:

Every day, eat a mix of whole grains like wheat, maize and rice, legumes like lentils and beans, plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, with some foods from animal sources (e.g. meat, fish, eggs and milk).

Consume enough fibre:

Fibre contributes to a healthy digestive system and offers a prolonged feeling of fullness, which helps prevent overeating. Eat salads, vegetables, fruit, pulses and wholegrain foods in all meals. Eat dry fruits, eggs to enhance other nutrients-intake. Proteins will help you fight COVID better.

Avoid alcohol intake :

Alcohol is not a part of a healthy diet. Drinking alcohol does not protect against COVID-19 and can be dangerous. It also weakens the immune system, its heavy use undermines your bodyโ€™s ability to cope with infectious disease, including COVID-19.

Environmental pollution is directly effecting the children of such areas and they are at high risk. According to a report of UNICEF, around 600,000 children are dying annually due to diseases caused by air pollution that is the most common type of environmental pollution.Environmental pollution is causing various types of diseases and defects in the human body. Moreover, the most common pollutants in the environment like sulfur dioxide (SO2), ozone (O3), carbon di and monoxide (CO2 & CO), heavy metals, nitrogen oxides (NOx), etc. are causing various diseases like respiratory disorders, heart stroke, mental disorders, etc..When a human takes a breath in the air, the person inhales various chemicals that have a direct impact on health. Further, it increases the risk of asthma and respiratory diseases as respiration is the main function of the body to live. Also, evidence of scientific research shows that Ozone in the air affects the functioning of the lungs in the human body. Therefore, due to the negative effects on the lungs, people suffer from respiratory inflammation.People living in the polluted area are the victim of cancer mostly. As most of the regions are polluted with industrial smoke, coal smoke, fire smoke, and vehicle smoke. Additionally, cancer is also caused by indoor items and office materials. These indoor items are paints, carpets, Split AC, air freshness, stabilizers, and sterilizers. Their days and nights are incomplete without the usage of Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, and many other social media platforms. 80 percent of youth use social media throughout the day and night. Even a large number of adults have started using WhatsApp, Youtube, and Facebook. But this addiction also has harmful consequences that people seem to have traded off for the pleasure they get from social media use. Social media effects like stress, depression, weight problems, and poor mental health are the core problems that can not be simply ignored. The irony behind social media platforms is that those applications were developed to lessen the distance among your loved ones but instead, these platforms are adding more distances. People, especially young people have started using social media and have forgotten physical meetings and interactions altogether. They keep on using their computer devices and keep on updating their life stories with social media friends by ignoring the blood relationships sitting right in front of them.More than 75 percent of teenagers less than 20 years old, the millenniums, are highly indulged in using social media platforms that they have become fully addicted to. Their life is reduced to taking and uploading updates every minute as stories on different platforms. They are in a run to grasp as much attention as they can and keep getting more and more likes and comments. It gives them satisfaction. Moreover, social media users are always in search of events to get tagged in. Then comes the fear of getting block by someone.Everybody is in a rush to outpace each other to become an influencer. Youtubing is now a verb, YouTuber a profession and uploading vlogs of daily life has taken the place of a job now. Social media is drastically changing every day. After Facebook, all the teenagers headed for Snapchat, and Instagram and now everyone is rushing to the platform of TikTok. People are tying to show their acting skills, they are doing makeup tutorials, they are doing brand advertisement and you name it. They feel stressed if they do not get likes and sharings. They feel stressed if someone else gets more views than them.Social media platforms were made to make costumers aware to seek information and to communicate with people far from them and to do business. But instead too much clinging onto phones is leading to many mental and health problems. A well-read psychiatrist always recommends spending time with nature and with your loved ones. Nature is the utmost source to shed stress, tension, anxiety or depression. But what people do these days? They visit natural places with their loved ones and take tons of pictures, record videos with their loved ones and upload them to social media platforms. They keep on checking their likes and comments on those pictures or videos to satisfy their soul. But ultimately, they destroy their mental peace.

The importance of history

We from our childhood are given a name, we as we study along and get educated, we collect certificates, participate in competitions, compete for rank, give speeches , excel in sports and exams, and so on, all this time we are creating an unique identity. Every step of our life we are contributing to make our own unique identity, trying to be something different, trying to mark our mark, trying to create a legacy, each and everyone’s different in its own way. From the laziest to the most energetic, form the dorkiest to the smartest, from the strongest to the most disciplined, from a Romeo to any geek, from a child to a teen to a young grown up to a middle aged person to a old man, that is what everyone strives for subconsciously.ย

What is history ?

History is what we came from and is often why we think and act in a certain way.We will frame our very lives in the paths travelled by our relatives and their actions. As the saying goes, โ€œ to understand what is, one must understand what wasโ€.

What history has is the goal of tracing narratives of past events, and analyzing the patterns that emerge as a way to provide perspective on our past.

History is wonderful and should be studied and therefore understood.

It can be studied at different levels and is just full of great adventures.

– food – countries – trains – religion – art – medicine – architecture – fashion.

Why is history important?

The same reason that personal memory matters. If you didn’t know what you had done in the past, he would have no meaningful identity as a person. History is to civilization what memory is to individuals.

Aa there is a saying which goes as :

History repeats itself. Who knows, what we learn right now about the past may come back to help us in the future!

In all cases, understanding History is integral to a good understanding of the condition of being human. That allows people to build, and, as may well be necessary, also to change, upon a secure foundation. Neither of these options can be undertaken well without understanding the context and starting points. All living people live in the here-and-now but it took a long unfolding history to get everything to NOW. And that history is located in time-space, which holds this cosmos together, and which frames both the past and the present.

Well, the truth of the matter is that history does repeat itself and it’s best to be prepared for it by knowing the outcomes of previous instances and being able to make educated decisions based off of these that will help to a greater degree in the long run.

It helps us solve whatever problems the future holds. So keep knowing about the history or the past before stepping to anything

Perspective towards the history

There are many different perspectives that explain Historyโ€™s existence.

History is older than any other form of โ€˜social studyโ€™ and existed way before there were academic institutions or an academic discipline associated to it. So, it seems it has been a social and cultural demand of various cultures (but not all of them), to understand their own selves in time. The narratives of origin gave a special meaning to particular groups and cultures. Something akin to mythological narratives, but with a claim to represent โ€˜what really happenedโ€™, based on testimonies and observations and making sense of where we came from. So, we come to a perspective very widespread in ancient times, that of History as a โ€˜master of lifeโ€™, a repository of experiences and deeds of great (and lesser) men, which could be used by those who read it (statesmen, generals, etc.) in order to learn from the mistakes and great achievements, morals and virtues of generations past. The past as a guide to future action.

Another perspective came with the need, analogous to the new modern sciences, of understanding the world in an objective scientific perspective. Because of the historical context in which that process happened i.e coinciding with the birth and consolidation of the modern nation-state, it was closely linked with the political, philosophical and ideological need to construct national identities, referred to historical narratives of national origins. The understanding of the past as scientific knowledge, not necessarily for any practical purpose. Later, History came to be seen, through another political and epistemological perspective, as a tool to understand the present, by means of understanding and explaining how political, social, economic and cultural processes evolved, from different past configurations. The study of the past as a method to understand the present.

Should history matter to us

Even if there is no true objectivity to one’s history, even if there is no real common interpretation of history, but the truth is we need to protect it for our relative objectivity and subjectivity both. At Least for this day in age of 21st century, ask not what is reality, ask how to protect our reality because once our reality is distorted either by lie or truth, identity is lost.

History makes future for us at the end of the day, what one did yesterday decides what happens today. What we do today, when today becomes yesterday, our those actions make the future. History is our child. We are creating history as we are living through the present. It is our legacy, it is our tomorrow’s myth and legend, history is us from once.

World Environment Day

We celebrate World Environment Day every year on 5th June to bring positive changes and enhance healthy ecosystems. The earth is what we all have in common. So, every year we celebrate this day to help nature in healing itself. Nature is our first mother. It gives us so much including food we eat, water we drink, the air we breathe and much more and in return we are harming our nature and eventually we are harming our livelihood. Nature doesnโ€™t need human but human will always need nature to sustain. If we possess healthy ecosystem then only, we can fight climate change and discontinue the ruining of biodiversity.

World Environment Day is celebrated globally to inspire people to change their lifestyle and take action to build a greener future. World Environment Day is worldwide initiative taken by United Nations (UN) to spread awareness. UN established Environment Day in 1972. World environment Day is celebrated by various host countries. It was first observed in 1974 in United States of America and the theme was โ€œOnly One Earthโ€.

United Nation has declared this decade as โ€œEcosystem Restorationโ€ decade. Ecosystem Restoration is a process of reversing the degradation of ecosystems, such as landscapes, oceans and lakes to regain their ecological functionality. Also, to increase the productivity and capacity of ecosystems to meet the societyโ€™s need.

Till 2030, the refurbishment of 350 million hectares of degraded terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems could generate US$9 trillion in ecosystem services. Restoration could also remove 13 to 26 gigatons of greenhouse gases from the atmosphere. All kinds of ecosystems can be restored, including forests, farmlands, cities, wetlands and oceans. Restoration initiatives can be launched by almost anyone, from governments and development agencies to businesses, societies and individuals. That is because the causes of degradation are many and varied, and can have an impact at different levels.

Every year World Environment Day is celebrated at various countries but officially it is hosted by one different country in which official celebrations takes place. The host for World Environment Day this year is Pakistan. Pakistan will highlight the importance of โ€œEcosystem Restorationโ€ this year. The theme for this year is โ€Reimagine. Recreate. Restoreโ€. The Government of Pakistan plans to develop and restore the countryโ€™s forests through a โ€˜10 Billion Tree Tsunamiโ€˜ campaign spread over five years. The campaign includes restoring mangroves and forests, as well as planting trees in urban settings, including schools, colleges, public parks and green belts.

Through the 10 Billion Tree Tsunami, Pakistan is contributing to theย Bonn Challenge, a global effort linked to the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. Under the challenge, countries are pledging to bring 350 million hectares of the worldโ€™s deforested and degraded land into restoration by 2030.

Hereโ€™s what you can do to contribute:

  • Plant more trees.
  • Segregate your waste into wet waste and dry waste
  • Follow the 5Rโ€™s โ€“ Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Renew, Recycle
  • Travel by Public Transport
  • Spread Awareness about Environment
  • Conserve water. Implement Rain water Harvesting
  • Avoid using plastic
  • Save Electricity
  • Use art as a way to spread the message.

Things to do in a lockdown

One should not waste their time in this lockdown. We have to learn new things to keep ourselves updated. Because when we sit for a long period of time without learning any new things our brain will automatically forget things and will become even lazier.

1. Learn a new skill. There are lots of online platforms to learn new skills. Some are available for free and some are paid. If you don’t like to spend your money and at the same time want to learn something creative you can choose YouTube to learn new skills. If you want to learn a new course for free you can learn it from Udemy, Coursera, and Great Learning. But, for Coursera only some guided projects are free. If you want to learn other courses for free you can apply for the financial aid program.

2. Read lots of books. Trust me the best way to kill lockdown is by reading books. There are lots of books for beginners to read. If you are a beginner and want to read books you can check on the internet to find the books for beginners and lots of search results will pop out. Pick out the one you like by reading the reviews. You don’t need to buy books from the bookshop. You can read it from your phone using the Amazon Kindle app. The best thing about the Kindle app is lots of options to explore. And the price is so less compared to the paperback. Hardcovers are so cheap and you can but with one click by making the payment.

3. Learn new crafts and decorate your house. How many of you know that we can make some amazing crafts using Pista shells? Yes, Pista shells are used to make a wide variety of crafts. You can easily choose from Youtube. Start by making simple projects and decorate your house with your creativity.

4. Help your parents if you are a teenager. Because teenagers often spend their time on social media rather than learning something useful. If you help your parents you can interact with them and you will be able to spend more time with them. It is a great stress buster from this busy life.

5. If you are a student and want to do something creative and want to gain experience and knowledge you can do internships. Internships are so important for college students. Because nowadays companies are expecting freshers to have some experience. There are various sites to apply for internships. One of the good platforms to apply for an internship is Internshal. It is a completely free website where thousands of os companies post internships each day and you can find internships according to your niche and interest.

6. Play games as a family. Family games are so cool and it is a good thing to interact with your family members and you can learn good things from elders. They will share their life experiences. If you have any difficulties you can share them with them and they will give you a good solution based on their experience.

7. Have a family dinner daily. Having a family dinner is pure bliss. It is a complete pack of joy. Ask your children to help you in setting up the table and after eating ask them to wash the dishes. Make them engaged in some kind of work so that they will learn the values of eating dinner with you and it is the best place for them to open up things in front of you.

8. Do some exercises. It can be walking on your terrace or doing some yoga. Because staying indoors will lead to an increase in weight. Also, doing exercises is good for our mental health.

Indulging ourselves in these kinds of activities will help us to maintain a healthy relationship without getting bored.

Importance of Training and Internship

An Internship is one that enables you to gain some hands-on experience and you will be paid for your work. Sometimes it can be an unpaid internship. But the goodness in unpaid internships is you can get work experience and sometimes the company might provide you a Letter of  Recommendation based on your work. It would be really helpful for your future interviews. Nowadays, companies are expecting freshers to have some job experience. Doing an internship is a plus to your career.

The internship is an opportunity to learn more about yourself, It is a good place to explore your skills, strengths, and weaknesses. You will be able to learn from the workplace. Their ways of problem-solving, generating leads, and approaching people are the top skills and you will get a good overview from them. We have to work as a shadow of our team leader so that we can get all the inputs from that person which we can use in our future work. Only when we work on an internship we will be able to figure out what we like, what we don’t like, the places and areas we need to improve all these things can be learned.

On-the-job training is also an important part of your career. It is the main area to explore the facts and our duties towards the work. One main part of securing an internship in a good company is to have a good experience which should be added to your Resume. Our Resume should be captivating enough so that we can be shortlisted in the company and the company can call for our second round. There are also companies that ask for our Portfolio. For example, if we apply for a Content Writing internship the first thing the company will look for you is some experience or your work samples. We can make a portfolio of our projects or can create a new blog and posting engaging content in various niches. It will increase your chances of getting selected.

Be it paid or unpaid, doing an internship is an important thing in everyone’s life. After the successful completion of our internship, the employer will give feedback about your work and the places that are needed to be improved. Getting feedback from an experienced person is an added advantage and it is the best thing to improve your insight and skills.

We can use online platforms to apply for internships. The best platform to happy for an internship is Internshala where one can find a wide variety of internships on their interests. If you are not applying for work from home and instead of applying for an in-office internship you will be able to learn more about the travel experience. The hilarious thing about in-office internships is Office Politics. Office politics include gossips, the behavior of the people, and their attitude. One good thing about internships is you can make some new friends and can learn many things from them. Internships also help you to find your new interests. Interests need not be your usual ones. When you do internships you can explore your interests in other niches as well.

One of the things you need to keep in your mind while applying for internships is a good resume. The exact reason behind why you are applying for an internship at their company. Online courses done by you should also be added as it will catch their mind but please mention if you really did those courses. If they find out during the interview it will create a bad impression on you and will decrease your chances of getting selected. And your time of availability. These things will increase your chances of getting hired at their company.

Top Five must read Ray Bradbury books.

To open the pages of a Ray Bradbury novel is to enter an imagination that has travelled far beyond the bounds of our rocky globe, into the most fascinating and perplexing realms of human life.

Bradbury had a productive career as one of America’s most successful novelists, short storey writers, playwrights, and screenwriters, best known for his works Fahrenheit 451 and The Martian Chronicles. Bradbury, in a strange blend of the futuristic, the spooky, the bizarre, and the nostalgic, could be considered a genre unto himself. Bradbury was a Renaissance writer if there ever was one.

It’s hard to think this isn’t a scenario from one of Bradbury’s books because his writing career began in such a magical way. When he met Mr Electrico at a carnival when he was twelve years old, he was taken around a tent of misfits that would later stalk the pages of his most morbid books. Mr Electrico touched Ray with an electrified sword later that day and whispered to him, “Live forever.”

And Bradbury took Mr. Electro’s vow to heart, writing every day for more than seventy years, establishing a literary legacy that will live on in perpetuity, employing his prodigious storytelling abilities to craft tales that have enthralled millions of readers and inspired a slew of imitators.

He said that he was neither a science fiction, fantasy, or magical realism author, but rather a word magician who was written by his books.

It’s impossible to choose a Top Five list from Bradbury’s seemingly endless works, therefore this will be a list of my favourites and recommended must-reads.

A Ray Bradbury Top Five must-read list must include the following, in no particular order.

1. The Illustrated Man (1951)

The Illustrated Man โ€” a former carnival worker whose crawling tattoos spun stories of dread and delight โ€” weaves together a series of short stories in this dark and wonderful novel.

Several stories are connected to The Martian Chronicles, and many of them resemble Bradbury’s early futuristic work, such as “The Veldt,” a cautionary storey set in a children’s nursery that conjures up the contents of the imagination. When the children’s parents consider shutting off the nursery, they discover that virtual reality has become all too real, and “Kaleidoscope,” in which an accident rips open a starship and spews its space-suited crew into space, where they meet a variety of ends. This narrative is so amazing that I read it at least twice a year to see how a master works.

Exploring this live canvas with Bradbury as your guide becomes a riveting investigation of the human condition, putting The Illustrated Man among the best Ray Bradbury books.

2. Fahrenheit 451 (1953)

Guy Montag, a fireman in a dystopian society where books are forbidden and most people spend their days in front of television screens, doesn’t put out fires; he causes them. Montag is assigned by the authorities to burn forbidden publications that promote free and complex thought, and he works diligently to complete his task. That is, until he meets Clarisse, a lone late-night pedestrian who reawakens Montag’s awareness of his surroundings. Montag begins to have doubts about his technology-dependent civilization and attempts to save the secret realm of printed knowledge that still exists.

Bradbury was inspired to create this grim essay on a post-literature future by the Red Scare of the 1940s, which saw America seized by anti-communist hysteria. While Fahrenheit 451 may be a parable about McCarthyism and Stalinism, Bradbury’s warnings about the pitfalls of political correctness and technological advancements appear to be becoming increasingly prescient.

This short novel, based on his short tale “The Fireman,” is perhaps most recognised for the Francois Truffaut film starring Oscar Werner and Julie Christie. And if that’s the case, people are missing out on a classic science fiction storey with a chilling Orwellian theme. Read the book and watch the movie. Fahrenheit 451 serves as a admonitory tale.

3.  The Martian Chronicles (1950)

The heat from the rocket burns blazes through an Ohio winter in January 1999, as pioneers depart Earth for Mars. In this superb epic about the colonisation of a new frontier in space, waves of settlement missions land on Mars until the planet’s cities are nearly destroyed. Things take a turn when humankind is on the verge of extinction on Earth, and the survivors seek refuge on the planet they once exploited, now a barren wasteland.

Mars and the ethereal Martians are fanciful imagination in Bradbury’s hands. Despite the fact that he eschewed the hard scientific truths of regulated science fiction writers and preferred old technology to modern โ€” bicycles over cars, typewriters over computers – he possessed a remarkable foresight into the future. Bradbury utilises the unusual light of an alien world to question humanity’s constant avarice in The Martian Chronicles, which might be interpreted as a mirror of postwar life in the Midwest. He reminds us that technical growth is only worthwhile if it improves our lives.

Rather than sticking to science fiction conventions, each chapter is an experiment in style and atmosphere. It does, however, take place on Mars, but it is the Mars of Edgar Rice Burrows and Barsoom, not the world we know from various landers and orbital photographic surveys. In Bradbury’s universe, Martians exist, and when Earthlings come, all hell breaks loose, albeit in a calm, retrospective, and masterfully portrayed manner

The text alone in The Martian Chronicles is worth reading; from “The Off Season”: “The wind threw the sand ship keening across the empty sea floor, past upturned pillars, past derelict marble and brass docks, past dead white chess cities, past purple slopes, into the distant…”

4. The October Country (1955)

Despite his fame as the author of the book-burning apocalyptic classic Fahrenheit 451, Bradbury was first and foremost a short-story writer. Dark Carnival, a collection of weird and melancholy stories published in 1947, was his first book. He trimmed, altered, and expanded to this collection eight years later to create The October Country, his ultimate tome of the macabre and bizarre.

Such classics as The Small Assassin, Skeleton, and The Wind, among its lovely bits of autumnal sweets, upend the familiar, creating a world where the mundane is exotic and terrifying. Bradbury’s horror stories aren’t surprising or exciting. It’s the terror of realising that something inside you is out to get you, whether it’s an unborn child or a pile of bones. It’s the terror of living in a world where the winds are conspiring to bring you down. But, though Bradbury avoids gore and the stock creatures of spooky literature, I defy you not to feel a shiver running down your spine as you read The October Country on a dark and stormy night.

5. The Golden Apples of the Sun(1953)

Bradbury abandoned frame narratives for his fourth โ€˜fix-up’ of short stories and simply juxtaposed tales from a variety of genres. The result is a stunning fusion of his familiar, wistful fantasy, such as “The April Witch,” a haunting tale about a teenage dream-traveler yearning to fall in love, and visionary science fiction, such as the title storey, a terrifying yet beautiful description of a spaceship’s flight into the Sun’s atmosphere.

A seemingly uninteresting storey is tucked within amidst these treats. The film “The Pedestrian” is about a man who enjoys getting out of the house and going for a walk. In a nod to Fahrenheit 451, this society is one in which individuals are cooped up in their homes, engrossed in television โ€” and going for a walk results in arrest. Bradbury warns that technology progress can steal people of their humanity and enforce adherence to the current quo by depicting neighbourhoods as graveyards and people as mindless insects.

A fascinating account of a spaceship’s journey into the Sun’s atmosphere in order to sample some of its composition. Scientifically improbable, but a masterwork of heat, terror, and beauty in Bradbury’s hands. It’s also the title storey in a wonderful anthology of 22 pieces, including “The Fog Horn” and “A Sound of Thunder,” which are both classics.

Happy reading guys.

SAFFRON-THE MOST EXPENSIVE SPICE IN THE WORLD

Saffron as everyone knows, is an amazing spice used in various cuisines just for its certain flavour, fragrance or natural food colouring. But have you ever wondered why is it so costly? It is a luxury to just buy a few quantities of saffron because just a few strands are quite costly and not all are able to afford to buy it. During various periods, saffron was considered equivalent to commodities like gold. Iran is the major producer of this spice manufacturing about 90% of world saffron. Countries like India, Italy, Spain, United Arab Emirates and China etc. are also producers contributing about 10% of total saffron produced in the world. I’ve mostly seen saffron being used in sweets giving it a beautiful golden colour which leaves us mouth watering. It is also being used in very little quantities. Is it due to its cost or does it have an impact on health when used in large quantities?

The reason behind is exorbitant price is due the difficult growing process. Saffron is a spice derived from the flower of Crocus sativus. The stigmas of the flowers ( called threads ) are dried and are used to make saffron. But this step is not quite easy. Farmers must harvest the delicate threads by hand. Thus this needs a lot of labour work and is hence quite expensive. Also another factor contributing to its cost is the huge land area needed to cultivate the flowers and it takes 75,000 flowers just to make a pound of saffron. Under specific conditions, like well-drained and rich soil, it blossoms just a week in an year. One side being used in cooking, on the other side, it also has some medicinal properties. Saffron is filled with antioxidants.

USES OR BENEFITS

Saffron has many uses such as

  • Providing antioxidants such as crocin, picrocrocin and safranal which helps to guard a person’s health.
  • Saffron is a good medicine to boost the mood of a person who is especially in depression. Saffron extract along with antidepressants have shown good results in improving the symptoms of depression patients.
  • Saffron is also used to treat Alzheimer disease. Taking a specific saffron extract for 22 weeks can improve the symptoms of the disease.
  • Saffron is also used to treat anxiety. However saffron is not useful to treat say, anxiety and depression at the same time.
  • There is also some evidence that it helps promote weight loss.
  • Also heals complexities

RISKS OR SIDE EFFECTS OF SAFFRON

Anything that is taken in more quantities than what is prescribed can lead to ruin. Saffron also contains some risks. High doses of about 5 grams or more can cause poisoning. Doses of about12-20 grams can cause death. Allergic reactions can occur in some individuals when consumed.

FAKE SAFFRONS

Since it is well known that saffron is very expensive, some people indulge in frauds by selling fake saffron because it is easy to make huge money. Corn husk is one of the items that is used to make fake threads. The original and fake look exactly same so how can we ensure we buy the original one? One way is to buy it from a trustworthy or known seller. The other way is to test its purity. Add some saffron threads into water and wait for sometime. The original threads will colour the water and still look the same. If it fake, the threads would either look faded or totally lose its colour.

It should teach without being pedagogic. โ€ฆ The last, and probably most important, a good editorial should be brief. An article about a good editorial should also, if possible, be brief.

It can still be a powerful tool for generating brand awareness and sales, however. What Is Editorial Style? Editorial style is commonly confused with writing style. morocco Spain migrant crisis

King Muhammad of Morocco weaponises migration | The Economist

Recently Spain accused morocco of “blackmail” over the Ceuta migrant surge and issues between Morocco and Spain is increasing as every day passes and could result in a diplomatic crisis between both countries. This issue caught headlines when 8000 people started migrating towards Ceuta.

where is Ceuta?

Melilla | Facts, Points of Interest, & Map | Britannica

Ceuta is a coastal city in North Africa that belongs to Spain which also shares a border with morocco. Ceuta has become a flashpoint for migrants from Morocco seeking to enter Europe. Last year around 2200 seek shelter in Ceuta. Ceuta has a population of 85000 and is connected to mainland Spain through ferry services.

How it all started?

Brahim Ghali

When Morocco captured a huge land of western Sahara after a war in 1975 that made its neighbours mainly Algeria, Libya angry and they showed protest against morocco over this invasion. Since then there has been a conflict, neighbouring countries raised a libration group in western Sahara aimed to make Sahara independent from morocco and because of this morocco government is facing difficulty in administering Western Sahara.

The main reason for recent friction between both countries is Western Sahara. What happened is that the leader of the Polisario Front ( liberation group in western Sahara), Brahim Ghali was admitted to a hospital in Spain for his treatment of covid, which made morocco very angry because Brahim Ghali is the reason behind instability in western Sahara and also the one who is leading a libration group in Sahara.

Morocco expressed its anger by threatening Spain of consequences if Spain let Brahim Ghali get treatment in a hospital in Spain. For which Spain replied that “we support you on western Sahara issue but we cannot deny treatment to Brahim Ghali”. When Spain didn’t listen to the government of morocco then morocco decided to open its borders and allow the migrants who want to leave morocco, to seek refuge in Europe. The main strategy of morocco was to let a huge number of people enter Spain through Ceuta and create a refugee crisis in Spain.

It can be said that one man Brahim Ghali, unknowingly, has created a refugee crisis between morocco and spain.

Stance of Spain

Spain has accused morocco of wanting to create a refugee crisis in their country and also blamed them for wanting to collapse the economy of Spain. Spain is not ready to take such a huge number of migrants into their country but has offered some of the migrant’s shelters. European Union has also expressed its concern regarding this crisis and also said it’s not possible to absorb such a huge amount of migrants in this time of the pandemic. Spain has also threatened morocco with military action if they continued to send migrants in huge numbers.

condition of migrants

EXPLAINER: Spain's migrant crisis in North Africa- The New Indian Express

Now because of the tension between the two countries, poor migrants who only want a place to live are being used as pawns for blaming each other by the two countries neither of them is willing to take them in. These migrants do not have a place to sleep and food to eat. This situation is the worst example of the condition of refugees of the whole world.

This whole crisis can end if both the countries show a little humanity for the migrants and handle this situation maturely.

NATURE IS THE BEST TEACHER

“NATURE IS THE BEST TEACHER” it gives us everything but we humans forget to take care of it and we destroy it. Nature gives us fresh air which is important to everyone in our life. But we pollute it by means of transport, industrialization etc… We should try our best to avoid it and keep our surrounding clean and hygiene so that we can save our life as well as nature. We should start the change within ourselves so that others will follow it.

When we preserve our nature it will keep us safe and healthy. No harm or disease will spread when we take care of it . When we take care of our nature it will take care of us Due to pollution many gets affected due to harmful disease.
Air pollution,Water pollution affects nature and our world. We should avoid that so that we can live a life where there is no harm to our life and our world. We should use vehicles only when they are in use so that we can reduce pollution and we can breath good air instead of polluted air. We should plant saplings everywhere and make our mother earth fresh. “COLORS ARE THE SMILE OF NATURE”
In these days we should take care of ourselves because of the covid virus. Many died because of insufficient oxygen in their body and our country is out of oxygen cylinders. We should do what maintains our oxygen level and we get oxygen from trees so we should plant trees and save our life’s in future. We should wash our hands and wear masks whenever we go out. So that we can escape from the corona virus. We should stay safe and stay healthy.
โ€œgreenโ€ environmentโ€”one with trees and leaves. Most of the studies say that kids who play outside are smarter, happier, more attentive, and less anxious than kids who spend more time indoors.
It builds confidence-There are infinite ways to interact with outdoor environments, from the backyard to the park or lake, and letting your child choose how he treats nature means he has the power to control his own actions.
It promotes creativity and imagination- This unstructured style of play also allows kids to interact meaningfully with their surroundings. They can think more freely, design their own activities, and approach the world in inventive ways.
It teaches responsibility-Living things die if mistreated or not taken care of properly, and entrusting a child to take care of the living parts of their environment means theyโ€™ll learn what happens when they forget to water a plant, or pull a flower out by its roots.
It makes them think- Louv says that nature creates a unique sense of wonder for kids that no other environment can provide. The phenomena that occur naturally in backyards and parks everyday make kids ask questions about the earth and the life that it supports.
It reduces stress and their mind will be free.According to the Attention Restoration Theory, urban environments require whatโ€™s called directed attention, which forces us to ignore distractions and exhausts our brains. In natural environments, we practice an effortless type of attention known as soft fascination that creates feelings of pleasure, not fatigue.

STAY PASSIONATE!

Nothing great has ever been achieved without passion. It is a feeling of intense enthusiasm towards or compelling desire for someone or something. Passion can range from eager interest in or admiration for an idea, proposal, or cause; to enthusiastic enjoyment of an interest or activity; to strong attraction, excitement, or emotion towards a person.Yes, all stories of success have one common element in it called passion. Passion for what they want to achieve, enough passion to keep their eye from wandering away from the goal. It is that total passion that finally takes them to their goal of their choice. But what is it? Is created or followed? No doubt passion is created by an individual. It is something that you do with care and love. Something that brings you joy at the moment of doing it, that makes you forget about time and have a focus on that particular object, work or hobby etc., It is also a strong feeling of enthusiasm and excitement. Passion is the energy that comes from bringing more of you into what you do.
Without passion, life is like a sailor who is marooned on an island with no means of survival. Passion leads to purpose. Studies have shown that sense of purpose makes you more resilient, supports you in reaching your life goals, and contributes to a longer, happier, and healthier life. Thus, passion is a compelling enthusiasm which gives length to our creations and breadth to our imagination. It compels us to take risks and push ourselves past our current limits. And it is usually a result of something you are good at and enjoy doing. As well as something that compliments your skills and abilities.
Passionate people are always focused on what can be rather than what is. They’re always chasing their next goal with the unwavering belief that they’ll achieve it. Your work is what you do to get paid and for a living, whereas passion is something which you practice for pleasure or for the joy you get in doing it. If you could combine your passion as your work, then you will be doing your best in terms of work performance and you will enjoy doing work like never before.Your work is what you do to get paid and for a living, whereas passion is something which you practice for pleasure or for the joy you get in doing it. If you could combine your passion as your work, then you will be doing your best in terms of work performance and you will enjoy doing work like never before.
Developing a passion at early stage is a boon that helps you find yourself. Whether itโ€™s reading, writing, playing an instrument, painting, photography etc. To be in touch with something that you are not looking for anything more than the pure enjoyment is a great way to treat yourself. Find your passion, and let yourself fall in love with it and become a part of who you are. Nothing can replace it.

choose your own happiness..

Sometimesย  life is really challenging for some people…They donโ€™t know what to do ?how to do? went to do?

Because, somewhere they lost themselves

If a person is standing in front of you and acting likeย  he/she isย  smiling and taking to you very calmly thatย  doesnโ€™t mean they are happy too.

Because ,they donโ€™t want to express their emotion in front of you or may be they are not expressive.. They donโ€™t know how to express.

So in that case all you have to do is you should go for their help and ask about their family ,kids, jobs etc .because you donโ€™t know whatย  problem they are going through

Sometime people Donโ€™t like to discuss their personal life publicly…Which is Fine, But if you have serious problem in your life

You should discuss it with your family members especially with your mother and father ,You can discuss it with your Brother and sister if they are like your age they will definitely understand what is bothering you and what problem you have….And of course you will get a positive vibe from their side..They will also Suggest some good things to you .

That will help you to move on .

If you want to live happy..Donโ€™t share your personal problem with outsiders They wonโ€™t understand your feelings.

To be very honest,

if being Happy is our own choice

โ€ฆ.So being unhappy is also our own choiceโ€ฆ

It all up to you alright !Only you have to decide How you want to live your life happily or unhappy.

And please if youโ€™re in a relationship or if you areย  married Donโ€™t let someone control your lifeโ€ฆ

It will just kill your inner soulโ€ฆ

weight loss

This may be the most common topic that everyone must have heard or even thought at a point of their life. don’t worry me too think about it every time but the question arises what can be done to reduce fat?? please notice that here I used the word ‘fat’ not ‘weight’ because our main focus should always be fat loss not weight loss. many people think , just by reducing or cutting their body mass they are becoming healthy but it doesn’t work that way. here are some tips I am going to share with you guys to reduce body fat ( calorie deficit is the key).
1)ย  I don’t care whether you wake up at 6 am , 10 am , 12 noon or even at 1 pm , just do exercise for 1 hour with fullย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  focus. don’t use phone to entertain yourself rather make it use for a good cause or stay away from that phone forย  ย  ย  ย  ย  that 1 hour.

2)ย  Eat healthy , stay away from junk food , processed food . don’t eat namkeen , biscuits or any packaged food. stayย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย away from processed sugar. replace sugar with jaggery ( if necessary ). don’t fill your stomach entirely alwaysย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย stop before filling your stomach entirely.

3)ย  Do cardio with resistance training . its up to you in what proportion you perform both ย type of exercises. if youย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  don’t have weights that’s not a problem , your body weight is sufficient . do push ups , pull ups , squats , etc.

4)ย  Last but not least. its your life, live it to theย  fullest but in the future don’t feel bad that you should had startedย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย earlier doing stuffs that were good for your physical health or mental health. regret eats you up. so start now ,ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย now is the time.

girl’s education importance and its history

children are very innocent and simple that they simply learn what we teach them or what they see thier elder doing. Children just copy the things their parents do. If they taught to respect female and equality among everyone, they would never disrespect or insult any gender.

In older times, women are only seen doing household works. They had no right to be educated, to go outside their houses or to do work they want. They are forced to live thier whole life under the same four walls. They had no freedom at all. They had struggled so long to get their rights. There were many activists who fought for women education in india.

There were women who faught faught for their rights. Some of them are:-

Savitribai Phule She was the first female teacher in the first school for girls in India. After being married at 13, she was educated by her husband and other activists. Along with fathima sheikh, they started the first school for girls “Indigenous Library” in 1948. In 1853, savitribai and her husband jyotirao esrablished an education society that opened more schools for girls and women.

Fathima Shiekh She is widely regarded as first female muslim teacher in India. She worked with savitiribai for educating girls. she also helped Savitribai set up their first girlsโ€™ schoolย in her own house. she taught Dalit, Shudra, Adivasi and female students until 1856.ย

Ramabai Ranade She was one of the first women social workers and educators. She successfully created a network for women to avail vocational training, healthcare information and established the first high school for women on India. She became actively involved in the Prarthana Samaj and also in the Seva Sadan.

Chandraprabha Saikiani She was the pioneer of the women’s movement in Assam. In 1921, she started the Asam Pradeshik Mahila Samity which is still operational in Guwahati. The Tezpur University established a womenโ€™s centre in her name, Chandraprabha Saikiani Center for Womenโ€™s Studies (CSCWS) in 2009 for promoting womenโ€™s education in Northeast India.

Anutai Wagh She was one of the pioneers of preschool education in India.she faced a lot of backlash from conservatives groups for educating young girls. Her work at the โ€˜Gram Bal Shiksha Kendraโ€™ formed the basis for the development of preschool education.

Now, our country has progresses a lot in terms of equality. But still, Around the world, 132 million girls are out of school, including 34.3 million of primary school age, 30 million of lower-secondary school age, and 67.4 million of upper-secondary school age.The reasons are many.like poverty, child marriage and gender-based violence. It should be changed. Girls should be educated at any cost. Because girl who recieve education are more likely to marry young and live a healthy and productive life.

Shankar is your brilliant youngster in every respect โ€“ a good student with decent grades, an excellent athlete & a thirst for knowledge & adventure in his life. However, the year is 1909 & what awaits him at the end of his schooling is an ordinary clerical job at a jute factory. So when an acquaintance offers him the oppprtunity to work abroad, Shankar grabs it with both hands & lands in the middle of Africa, working for the Ugandan Railway Company.

MOBILE REVIEW : Realme 3 pro

Hey guys, recently I have bought Realme 3 pro from Flipkart . And I am using this phone till 18 days. So I earn some experience with this gadget.every phone has some advantages and disadvantages.ย I have bought the NITRO BLUE , 4 gb – 64 gb variant with 12999/- price. I shall try to put my opinion about thisย # SOME HIGHLIGHTED FEATURES & MY EXPERIENCE:
<i>The design is far semilar to Realme 2 pro , the curved back panel with the polycarbonate frame . Realme uses the 6.3 inch full HD + ( 1080ร— 2340) resolution and gorilla glass 5 .At 178g it doesn’t feel heavy and at 8.3 mm in thickness.you also get a pre- applied screen guard .ย ย The major issue is the ploycarbonate back causes so many scratches in between few days.</i> It includes a big battery of 4045 mAh with a VOOC 3.0 fast ( 20W) charger in the box.ย ย  ย I think it is one of the greatest feature of this phone
<i>And the other one is its processor . This is 1st phone in this price segment to sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 soc. So there will not be any issues in our daliy tasks or heavy gaming etc. And it also allow better battery lifeย ย  ย This is a reason I choose this one . This phone runs on COLOUR OS 6ย  based on android 9 pie.
</i> And it also offers us to use dedicated triple slot option includingย  a micro SD card slot and TWO nano sim card slot.
<i>It can shoot video up to 4 k resolution . The sensor ( sony IMX 519) of camera used here is the same as one plus 6T. It comes with 25MP AI selfie and 16MP + 5MP Rear camera.
#DRAWBACKS:ย </i> Acc.ย  to me the bulid quality is not so good , so scratches come so quickly.<i> Notification light is also absent.</i> The major one is the USB port , Type -C port would have been ideal .
Though there are some tinny faults, I should must recommend this phone If your budget is around 13000/- . It will enhance your daily activities and also ‘A value for Money ‘gadget.
Thanking You.

MOVIE REVIEW : POSTO

Story: Hard-working couple Arnab (Jisshu) and Sushmita (Mimi) had left their son Posto with his parents in Santiniketan, while they chased their dreams in Kolkata. When Arnab gets a business offer in the UK, they want to relocate with their son. But the grandparents are unwilling to let him go. Who will Posto stay with?
Review: What are little boys made of? Snips and snails and puppy dogsโ€™ tails. What are little girls made of? Sugar and spice and all things nice. So that brings us to the inevitable question: what, really, is the Bengali audience made of?
The reply to that is the big-ticket lottery in the Bengali film industry and like it or not, no one has a better answer today than directors Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy. Willy-nilly, with their last few films, they have become the conscience keepers of middle-class Bangaliana. And they have done it again with Posto. The film checks all the right boxes: Rabindranath and Santiniketan, raising children, grandparents versus parents, the taboo on drinking, tradition versus modernity et al.
Mind you, doing this โ€” getting the pulse of the core audience right in film after film โ€” is not a mean job. And for that, Shibu and Nandita, as we know them, have found ample support โ€” in film after film โ€” in the wise company of Soumitra Chatterjee. In Posto, Soumitra is in his element as the patriarch Dinen Lahiri, chastising his son Arnab (Jisshu U Sengupta) and showering Posto (Argha) with all his love. At the other end of the acting scale is the bubbly Posto โ€” a bundle of energy and verve. Argha tugs at your heartstrings with a naughty-yet-lovable portrayal in a way only a child actor can. Every mom and grandmom is sure to crush on Posto.
The love between grandparents and Posto has more nuances than the war of egos that is sparked when Arnab comes to take Posto back to Kolkata from his parentsโ€™ Santiniketan home. Arnab wants to move to the UK with wife and child, but Lahiri Sr refuses to let his grandson go. After all, he has been caring for the child over the years and believes that Arnab, who canโ€™t hold a job but can hold his drink, is not the right man to rear a child.
So far, so good. But what was a simple argument between father and son, escalates into a court case at a lightning, and slightly unbelievable, pace. The court hearing takes up most of the second half, as the judge (but actually the audience) tries to figure out, whoโ€™s a better caregiver for Posto โ€” parent or grandparent.
The other stakeholders in the drama do their bit. Paran Bandyopadhay plays himself and thatโ€™s good enough. Lily Chakraborty as grandma is the perfect foil to Soumitra. Jisshu nails the slightly confused GenY dad act without breaking into a sweat, but Mimi Chakraborty, who has taken the bold leap from commercial cinema to more meaningful stuff, has miles to go before she can sleep easy. Her performance as a career mother is underwhelming, with no real vibes coming through with either husband or son. If she is low key, Sohini Sengupta more than makes up for it as a fuming, posturing lawyer who is more out of nautanki than cinema.
So that brings us back to our first question. What do our audiences want? To see a slice of their own lives in a darkened theatre? The answer is out there somewhere. But for Shibu and Nandita, the task of being a touchstone to middle-class Bengali morality comes with its own set of challenges and rewards. In Posto, tradition and continuity triumph over modernity, which wants a clean break from the past in the hope of a better future. Itโ€™s a compromise solution and we know what compromises have done to us Bengalis in the past few decades.

Trusting one’s self โ€ฆ Is necessary

We have some strength and mighty talent within ourselves which is hidden not only from world the from oneselfย  too, but we have to keep practice to let us know what is actually we are here for ?

we should try out things which are new as well as old to keep in tact so that we can find what is specially we are made for? there is lots of things out there around the world to learn and practice so we have some talent and skills .Trusting that we can do is something which is exactly as human we should have within ourselves. The trust starts when we initiate with so do others find we are trust worth.

Trust is also another form of confidence but if we loose the trust we loose not only confidence but much more so never loose the trust as it is necessary for one self. Lot’s of people fail in trusting test but very few pass and they do so as they are confident enough to trust and express that trusting does have a price and if we pay sometimes its worthy too.so please do trust as its a very fewer’s things which helps us by being our selves.

Quest of self-love

Self-love involves holding a great value for your welfare and pleasure. Self-love suggests considering the care of your requirements and not surrendering your happiness to satisfy other people. Self-love also indicates not settling down for less than we deserve. self-love word indicates on its love for self. But we always wonder what does that means, It is also known as a state of gratitude for oneself. It comprises owing your inner and outer beauty, flaws, and appreciation. Self-love is not just about started feeling well for oneself but it is a much wider term. But we always get confused about its real meaning. Does it only include love for oneself or in self-love everything and everyone is being included? During loving yourself you started having empathy, sympathy for yourself. Itโ€™s not including chasing some emotional and physical high. Self-love is that thing which we all should try to build in ourselves. Yes, it wonโ€™t come overnight it sometimes takes months to months and years of years.

SELF-LOVE

Do you wonder that why self-love is important?โ€ Many of us ask this question,  for several reasons, we take this as for granted then a necessity. Ironically, self-care might be required several by those of us that serve extremely strong and who are continually attempting to transcend us and apprehend the shape-shifting vision of fulfillment.

Itโ€™s necessary to go easy sometimes with self-love and to forgive ourselves in case of some unusual event or about something that we are feeling guilty of. It sometimes gets challenging for us to recognize ourselves and to change some habits that are built in our system. when we face hard times and facing difficulties, it becomes a daunting task to start practicing self-love. But we shouldnโ€™t forget that we all are special and unique from one another. Itโ€™s never late to start something new so get prepare yourself and give a promise that you are going to give your fullest to start your journey of self-love. Inhale and exhale and huge tightly and follows some basic steps to reach your journey

  1. Clear all the negative thoughts and emotions which preventing you to achieve your goal, detoxify your mind and soul by taking deep breaths, and by focusing on nothing.
  2. Try to find something about which you can feel gratitude and during those bad days and difficult times find one thing to show some gratitude.
  3. Treat others with kindness and respect even when you are not in a good mood and when nothing is going well.
  4. Try to go in a quest of finding a passion for something, that one thing, which directs your soul to work on every day, day in and day out.
  5. In your busy schedule find some mean time to meditate and listen to some calming music to relax your mind.
  6. Self-love is a lifetime mastering skill, it will evolve slowly by slowly so be patient and persistent because this is the key.
  7. Just embrace and love what makes you different from others, remember god makes us.

Mother’s love is immortal.

The word love is a powerful word. It is used to express our care and affection towards other. Our first love will always be our mother. God created mother in the form of another god. She can live with us, feed us, help us in dealing with our insecurities and fears. Mothers are precious gift that god gave us. Her love can never decrease in terms of making us feel superior and loved. Immortal love here describes the love of mother for her children. She always stays on duty without complaining about it. The sacrifices done by our mothers should be highly appreciated. She makes their children as a topmost priority and can do everything for them. Since the time a child is born, Her work to make her children strong, independent never stops.
For some of us, Love is to have a supporting partner who can make you happy and fulfill you all desires. It is something that everyone crave to be loved by somebody and get proper attention and affection from them. After some time, This kind of love get irritated and doesn’t feel the same. Love is measured by the amount of attention you get or the expensive items you can gift somebody. It is often treated as a very pure form of love. The love that is based on materialistic things can never be pure and lifelong you can’t keep it secure and safe. Everybody can leave your hand at point but your mother will always be standing behind you. No matter how many mistakes you do, At the end of the day her one hug can convert all wrong things into right. It is very important to realize at the right time before you lose her. The birth and death is not in our control but One thing, We can stick it to is to give respect and love to our parents and family. Give them the happiness that they give when you were small. No great feeling than to see our mother happy.
“Live it to the fullest and enjoy every moment before it becomes a memory.”

Burnout โ€“ What is it? What are it’s Stages?

โ€œBurnout is nature’s way of telling you, you’ve been going through the motions your soul has departed; you’re a zombie, a member of the walking dead, a sleepwalker. False optimism is like administrating stimulants to an exhausted nervous system.โ€
โ€• Sam Keen, Fire in the Belly: On Being a Man

In today’s highly competitive and fast-paced environment, it is human nature to over-push yourself and over-stress yourself out.

According to the World Health Organization,

Burn-out is an occupational phenomenon and is not classified as a medical condition.

Burn-out is defined in ICD-11 as follows:

โ€œBurn-out is a syndrome conceptualized as resulting from chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed. It is characterized by three factors:

-feelings of energy depletion or exhaustion;
-increased mental distance from oneโ€™s job, or feelings of negativism or cynicism related to one’s job; and
-reduced professional efficacy.

Burn-out refers specifically to phenomena in the occupational context and should not be applied to describe experiences in other areas of life.โ€

โ€œBurnoutโ€ is a comparatively new term, first mentioned by the American psychologist Herbert Freudenberger in 1974, in his book, Burnout: The High Cost of High Achievement. He originally defined burnout as, โ€œthe extinction of motivation or incentive, especially where one’s devotion to a cause or relationship fails to produce the desired results.โ€

The 5 Stages Of Burnout

There may be 5 stages of burnout happening to any working individual. They are:

1. HONEYMOON PHASE

When we join a job or start a new business, we need to take practical steps and make ourselves more aware of the demands of the job/business so that we can actually prevent a possible burnout. We usually face a plethora of good emotions when starting something new and this can actually make us feel more burnt out than we would usually think. We need to take steps to cope and thereby implement positive changes as well as giving importance to our mental well-being. If we develop powerful coping strategies itself, we can stay in this positive phase for as long as we want to.

In the honeymoon phase, people can experience job satisfaction, great productivity, high energy levels, optimism, commitment, creativity, etc.

2. ONSET OF STRESS

After feeling great, there is a moment of realization of certain days becoming more difficult, you might develop negative emotions and be affected physically, mentally as well as emotionally.

Symptoms range from physical difficulties like high blood pressure, heart palpitations, headaches, fatigue, appetite changes, forgetfulness, etc. to mental difficulties like anxiety, inability to focus, avoiding making decisions, etc. Job dissatisfaction, Lack of social interaction, Lower productivity as well as general neglect of personal needs can also be seen in this stage.

3. CHRONIC STRESS

More intense symptoms are observed in this stage. Stress is experienced on a very frequent basis.

Symptoms include no hobbies, Missed work deadlines/targets, Tiredness, Physical illness, Procrastination, Resentfulness, Social withdrawal, escapism, anger issues, exhaustion, Denial of problems, panic, high caffeine consumption, feeling out of control, etc.

4. BURNOUT

Symptoms become critical here. Coping with this situation becomes difficult and it does not feel normal at all.

Symptoms include escapism, emptiness, problem obsession, pessimism, more physical symptoms, self-doubt, isolation, change in behavior, headaches, neglecting personal needs, desire to drop out, and much more.

5. HABITUAL BURNOUT

In this stage, burnout becomes a routine, a trap difficult to escape from. The symptoms have been drilled in your system and people are likely to experience ongoing problems which are physical, mental, and emotional in nature.

Symptoms include depression, chronic sadness, mental and physical fatigue, etc.

Conclusion

The average age of a person getting burnt out is 32. Burnouts can affect anyone at any time in their lives. It is so important to take care of yourself and prevent it as much as possible. Having good lifestyle habits as well as good self-care habits can be very useful to prevent burnout. Getting out of burnout is possible too by addressing the underlying issues and working on them.

Nature is change of human revolution

COVID-19: IMPACT ON EDUCATION.

“There are many things in our life which makes it worth Living, and EDUCATION is one of them”. Education is an important issue in an individual’s life. It is a path through which one can achieve anything in the future,be it: knowledge, fame, money, respect, success and many more. It is the key to have many opportunities in our life, OPPORTUNITIES which can help one rise and achieve anything in the future. Education grants us a good status in a society. As educated people, we are considered as a valuable source of knowledge for our society. BUT, ARE WE STILL THAT MUCH VALUABLE FOR SOCIETY SINCE 2 YEARS? IS THE CURRENT SITUATION IN THE WORLD CAN PROVIDE YOU THE OPPORTUNITY? THE OPPORTUNITY YOU NEED TO EXCEL IN THE FUTURE? We don’t know!! HAS OUR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS BEEN COMPROMISED? This is the exact question running in everyone’s mind be it, Parents, Government and Students since 2020. Yes, The Year 2020 was a major turning point for the students and their Education worldwide.

ON DEC, 31 2019, CHINA reported a new virus to the WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION (WHO), which later came to known as COVID-19. The “CO” stands for ‘CORONAVIRUS’, “VI” stands for ‘VIRUS’ and “D” stands for ‘DISEASE’. The Virus, which causes symptoms ranging from itchy throat, cold, cough, lack of smell and taste, to nuemonia, has killed lakhs globally and infected millions. Who could have thought the virus emerged in China, would spread across the whole world and infect millions in such a way that everyone’s life would change. The disease has been declared as a ‘Pandemic’ by the WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION (WHO). Amid. COVID-19, Several countries around the world, had implemented LOCKDOWN MEASURES and other restrictions in bid to stop the transmission of the Coronavirus. The disease has been so deadly that it has caused thousands death globally and many loses to the countries. Many countries stopped Rail and Air services, Schools, colleges, Restraus, Temples, and every other public place where a full fledge gathering could take place were shut. Government believed it was the best possible way to prevent and slow down transmission of the COVID-19 among the public.

Of all the Effects it had, the most affected one were the “STUDENTS AND THEIR EDUCATION”. The COVID-19 Pandemic has affected EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS worldwide, leading to total closures of schools, universities, and Colleges! The Governments of many countries decided to temporarily close EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS in an attempt to reduce the spread of the deadly VIRUS. Well, WIKIPEDIA says that, as of JANUARY 2021, Approximately 825 million learners are currently affected due to school closures in response to the Pandemic. At the peak of the Pandemic, many countries in Europe and Central Asia Region closed their schools, colleges and universities to contain the virus. School Closures have brought significant disruptions to Education across the World. School Closures have not only impacted STUDENTS, TEACHERS, FAMILIES, but have far reaching ECONOMIC AND SOCIETAL CONSEQUENCES. The disease started spreading so fast that the GOVERNMENT had to take a decision and ended up in closing schools and colleges abruptly! Given the Abruptness of the situation, Teachers Students, and Administrators were unprepared for this transition and sudden change! And were forced to build emergency remote learning systems almost immediately and one of its limitations was the lack of personal interaction between Teacher and Students. The Impact was more severe for the disadvantaged students and their families. As being weak in studies they couldn’t understand what to do, what to learn, how to access new things and adapting new changes, causing Interrupted learning, child care problems and consequent Economic cost to families who could not work. Amid Pandemic, DIGITAL LEARNING only seemed the best way for the students to carry on to Thier studies that lacked behind due to this Pandemic. It happened so suddenly, that both the teachers and students couldn’t understand the next step! Hence, leading to the gap between Students and their Studies. As a result when things resumed in a better way recently many students found that they remember Nothing! Pandemic also affected the quality standard of knowledge and learning as many examinations were canceled and children were promoted to the next levels without even giving their examinations! Resultantly, it will have a deep impact in Thier coming future! As we all know the Importance of BOARDS EXAMINATION! It trains you to be Strong. It is the basic level that one individual has to pass for their strong Career! It leaves the way for us to have a good career. Hence, EDUCATION is important for all of Us to have a good career. It enhances the opportunities for a better and easier employment.

Hence, EDUCATION is a sector in which Government has to be responsible and try to compensate the families and Students who have suffererd due to this Global Pandemic by Interrupted Learning and many more!

THE VANISHING RAINBOW

As we all are aware, June is pride month I want to make a mention of how the pandemic has given a certain impact on The LGBTQ community or the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer community is one of the most actively growing communities in todayโ€™s world. The Covid-19 pandemic is the most recent world tragedy which has caused a lot of tension among various groups of people psychologically and physically. Under these groups, I would like to capture the plight of what the LGBTQ community is going through. Individuals belonging to this society face a lot of social disadvantages and mental health disparities and due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this has been much exaggerated.

Due to this worldwide pandemic a lot of the students belonging to this community, are being forced back to their homes where they still arenโ€™t accepted for the identity they have chosen or they are left on the streets to find their supports. The pandemic has created an utmost need for the people for mental and psychological help but due to the trauma being put through they are unable to get so. A recent study was performed on certain students and the result of the study to be found was that nearly half of LGBT college students have immediate families that do not support or know their LGBT identity. Approximately 60% of sampled LGBT college students were experiencing distress, anxiety, and depression during the pandemic.

A lot of the young individuals who still havenโ€™t chosen to come out are undergoing major problems as well due to the growing pressure by staying around their parents who might have created an environment where there is fear being instilled. Due to this fear, people go through everything alone and choose not to ask for help due to the unavailability of easy help such as doctors and counselors. Events play a major role in creating more awareness among the group by meeting people who are similar in their thoughts and mentalities but events such as gay pride events and pride marches have all been canceled which has also severely affected the community. People are given bias when it comes to healthcare as well because of the mindset of people who havenโ€™t learned to accept the community.

The countries which seem most developed in the run against Covid-19 still show such small theories against the community which attacks them. I would like to speak of an example of the UK where gay and bisexual men were not allowed to donate their plasma to help people out. Why? Because they were gay and bisexual. In the US, gay bars and LGBTQ-friendly pubs have been shut down due to insufficient funds and support which isnโ€™t being provided adequately to them.

Itโ€™s saddening to see how normal human beings who have committed nothing except accepting themselves are being treated even by the higher society. I would like to personally urge everyone to help anyone they know going through a tough phase as things like this play a very important role in their lives and they would require someone with them. It might be a friend, It might be a sibling but they are still the same people even after they choose to follow a different identity.

Sri Lankaโ€™s one of the worst ecological disasters in History

Burnt-out Container Vessel is sinking in Sri Lanka, which has already endangered the marine life and affected the life of people who depend on the sea in Colombo. X-Press Pearl Singaporean Super Eco 2700-class Container ship on 20th may 2021 caught on fire in the cost of Colombo, Sri Lanka. There were 25 crew members on board and they were evacuated safely.

The vessel, which is 186-meter, carried 1486 containers which includes 25tonnes of nitric acid, other chemicals and plastic raw material. The mv left Hazira port in India on 15th may and was travelling to Singapore via Colombo, where the disaster occurred.

The vessel was on blaze for straight 13 days, it was put off after two weeks of struggle by Sri Lankan Navy, experts from Dutch salvage Company and the Indian Coast Guard. The burnt-out ship is sinking off in the coast with the danger of Oil spill that may occur, the vessel carries 350tonnes of oil in its fuel tank. Marine Environmental Protection Authority (MEPA) said, they are assessing environmental damage and collecting evidence.

Damage Done:

  • The wreckage is greatly affecting the aqua habitat causing several marine creatures to die, fishes and turtles were found dead on the shore.
  • Plastic pellets from the ship deposited along the countryโ€™s beaches and these LDPE( Low-density polyethylene) pellets have also washed off to the nearby island.
  • Health experts and Environment Authority have warned that, the emission of nitrogen dioxide could possibly cause mild acid rain in Sri Lanka.
  • Sri Lankan authorities banned Coastal Fishing because of the pollution, and about 5600 boats are unable to sail. This will affect 4600 families.
  • The Cargo loss of X-Press Pearl could range between $30 million -$50 million in addition to the loss of vessel.

The Disaster brought severe harm, the water region is highly polluted. Marine Environmental Protection Authority (MEPA), termed the incident to be one of the Sri Lankaโ€™s worst ecological disasters in history.

Cyclone Yaas Ravages Odisha and West Bengal

Kolkata, May 27, 2021 : Very Severe Cyclone Yaas with winds gusting up to 155 km per hour made its landfall between north of Dhamra and Bhanga coast in Odisha on May 26, 2021. The name has been given by Oman. ‘Yaas’ means “a Jasmine-like fragrance tree” in persian. Cyclone Yaas was the second cyclonic storm to hit India within a week after ‘Tauktae’. Strong winds and heavy tidal waves lashed several coastal towns and villages in Odisha and West Bengal.ย

How are cyclones formed?

Cyclones are formed over the oceanic water in the tropical region. In this region, the sunlight is highest which results in warming of land and water surface. Due to warming of the surface, the warm moist air over the ocean rises upwards following which cool air rushes in to fill the void, they too get warm and rise โ€” the cycle continues.

But what creates the spin?

Wind always blows from high pressure to low pressure areas. High pressure areas are created in the cold region while low is created in the warm regions. Polar regions are high pressure areas as the amount of sunlight here is less than the tropical region. So, wind blows from polar regions to tropical regions.

What happens when a cyclone hits the land?

Cyclone dissipates when it hits the land as the warm water that rises and creates space for cool water is no longer available on land. Also, the moist air that rises up forms clouds leading to rains that accompany gusting winds during cyclones.

Cyclone Yaas inundated low-lying areas and uprooted trees, and claimed at least three lives โ€” two in Odisha and one in West Bengal. Farmlands throughout Odisha, West Bengal, and some in Jharkhand were damaged by flooding. Railway and marine activities were halted due to Yaas.Hours before the landfall, in Digha, a coastal town of West Bengal, tall tidal waves breached embankments and flooded villages around a kilometre from the sea. Tajpur, Shankarpur and Mandarmani, all coastal towns were affected by the cyclone. Shops, huts, roads, resorts and hotels along the beach were damaged as the waves pounded them. Over 1,100 villages in West Bengal were submerged in floodwaters caused by storm surges, leaving an estimated 500,000 homeless. Cyclone Yaas ravaged West Bengal badly after cyclone Amphan which formed last year.

The cyclone has damaged more than 3 lakh houses and affected about 1 crore people. 15 lakh people from coastal areas have been evacuated”, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said. She also announced relief for affected people. In the state of Odisha, over 120 villages were flooded by the rains produced by Yaas. Three seaside villages in Balasore district โ€” Banajoka, Charigochhia and Naupalagadi โ€” were inundated. A flash flood was also reported in Basudevpur block of Bhadrak district, affecting 10 villages. People in the village dug up a road to divert seawater that had entered a residential area. Two victims were crushed under trees uprooted by the winds. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday evening reviewed the post-cyclone situation and announced ration and other supplies for the affected people.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met both Chief Ministers of Odisha and West Bengal and announced Rs. 1000 crore for Odisha, West Bengal and Jharkhand.

5 traits crucial to achieve success

โ€œIf You Are Working On Something That You Really Care About, You Donโ€™t Have To Be Pushed. The Vision Pulls You.โ€ โ€“ Steve Jobs

Success can have several definitions – mainly – it is an accomplishment of an aim or purpose – achieving your goals can also be called success.

We all crave for being successful in life. Some want to achieve extraordinary success, and some are having small goals – however – any goal being achieved is definitely a success. It motivates us and pushes us to have more goals in life as there are many milestones to be achieved. If you are genuinely passionate about something that you are aiming for, no one can stop you from becoming successful.

Certain traits are crucial to attaining success in life – 5 of the most important ones are:

1. Self-confidence

Self Confidence mainly revolves around trusting yourself, your judgments, abilities as well as your skills. You would not be stressed about everything if you are confident about yourself. You can understand yourself and will learn from your mistakes, and gain more confidence. You will take more chances, which will increase your chances of becoming a successful person.

2. Willpower

Willpower is one of the most important traits to possess in your journey to success. It is the ability to control one’s own actions, emotions, or urges. If we do not possess willpower we will never strive to be the best, only willpower can move us forward towards our goals and achievements. People with willpower have the motivation and discipline to create positive as well as successful habits and have a much better chance of succeeding in life. Willpower pushes us to achieve our goals and motivates us too. Successful people set goals for themselves which makes them more focused and willpower then comes into the picture – you end up sacrificing and adjusting your life to achieve success and finish your goal. Willpower is the ability to resist short-term gratification in pursuit of long-term goals or objectives.

3. Hardwork

Iโ€™m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it. ~ Thomas Jefferson, former President of the United States

There is no secret to becoming successful, and hard work plays a massive role in success. Hard work also helps in becoming more confident. There is a guaranteed achievement in working hard as there are no shortcuts to success. It also allows you to lead a regret-free life and a much more fulfilled and respected life.

4. Patience

It takes time for a plant to grow. When you sow a seed, you cannot expect overnight results, if you do so, you will be giving up very soon, and that is quite the opposite of success. Rome was not built in a day, right? Patience is actually the key to success. It is important as with patience, you can keep going to reach your goals, without being much stressed about it. It reduces the negative emotions and helps us have a positive mindset towards life.

5. Eagerness to learn

Thirst for knowledge and skilling up is super important in today’s competitive world, where trends change and new things and innovations keep coming up. It is important to be eager to learn new things to prevent your skillset from becoming obsolete. Eagerness to learn also helps you build the best techniques and the newest skills and knowledge, making you ready to conquer the world and achieve success easily.

Of course, there are many more traits that determine one’s success, however, these five traits are of utmost importance and should be considered as these traits will make the journey of success a lot quicker.

Why We Say Yes

We agree to many requests not because we want to do them, but because we don’t want to be seen as rude, arrogant, or unhelpful. Often, you have to consider saying no to someone you will interact with again in the futureโ€”your co-worker, your spouse, your family and friends.

Saying no to these people can be particularly difficult because we like them and want to support them. (Not to mention, we often need their help too.) Collaborating with others is an important element of life. The thought of straining the relationship outweighs the commitment of our time and energy.

For this reason, it can be helpful to be gracious in your response. Do whatever favors you can, and be warm-hearted and direct when you have to say no.

But even after we have accounted for these social considerations, many of us still seem to do a poor job of managing the tradeoff between yes and no. We find ourselves over-committed to things that don’t meaningfully improve or support those around us, and certainly don’t improve our own lives.

Perhaps one issue is how we think about the meaning of yes and no.

Artificial Sun On Earth!

Sun on Earth

Chinaโ€™s artificial sun on earth might seem like a phrase from a fairy tale. However, now itโ€™s a reality. Experimental advanced superconducting Tokamak (EAST) of China has won the epithet of sun on earth. It is an energy generation machine which uses the same principle that the sun uses. The tokamak became 10 times hotter than the sun for 20 seconds. It is a big milestone in the field of science. It will unleash the global quest for clean, green and unlimited energy. It is also sustainable as it produces comparatively less waste products.
EAST Reactor is located at the institute of plasma physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Hefei, China. It is an advanced nuclear fusion experimental research device. Nuclear fusion is a reaction in which one or more atoms combine to form one or more different atoms and subatomic particles. The sun (or any other star in the universe) generates its energy by this process in which Hydrogen nuclei combine to form Helium and two neutrinos. The east project is part of of the the international thermonuclear experimental reactor (ITER) project. It will become the worldโ€™s largest nuclear fusion reactor when it becomes operational in 2035.
ITER is a collaboration of 35 nations which started in 1985. Its headquarter is located in France. Its aim is to build worldโ€™s largest tokamak, an experimental machine with the ability of producing energy from fusion reaction. Tokamak is a large vessel inside which heat energy is produced and the walls of the vessel absorb the heat which can be used to produce steam. The steam can rotate turbines and then produce electricity vis-a-vis generators like other conventional means of power generation. In the midst of climate change and global warming, nuclear fusion provides a carbon free source of power and is our chance to reverse the implications of climate change. ITER members include China, European Union, United States, Russia, South Korea, Japan and India. These seven members share the cost of project construction, operation and decommissioning. The European Union contribute the largest portion of construction costs whereas the remainder is shared equally by others. Experimental results and intellectual property are also exchanged between these 7 Members.
The member countries have shared responsibility in designing the machine. Likewise, India was given the task of Designing the chamber that can maintain very low temperatures. It is called cryostat and will be manufactured by India (Larson and Turbo). Once completed it will be the largest stainless steel high-vacuum pressure chamber to be ever built . It will provide high vacuum, ultra cool environment for the ITER vacuum vessel and the superconducting magnets. The target for its completion is 2025.
If we compare fusion technology with the present nuclear fission reactors, we find that nuclear fusion generates far more nuclear radioactive waste although it does not emit any greenhouse gases. On the other hand, nuclear fusion produces comparatively negligible amount of waste. Tremendous heat and pressure is applied on hydrogen atoms so that they can fuse. Fuel needs to be heated to temperatures over 150,000,000 degrees centigrades. The plasma soup of subatomic particles formed henceforth have to be kept away from the walls of the reactor to prevent cooling down and losing its potential to generate large amounts of energy. The only drawback with fusion technology is that making a vessel to contain hot plasma and maintaining stability for longer period of time is a challenge. The scientists are working on it and soon they will deliver the results.
EAST is a feat in the sense that it brought humanity closer to a cleaner and greener form of energy. Earlier in 2020 South Korea’s KSTAR (Korea superconducting Tokamak advanced research) achieved extremely high temperatures for 20 seconds. China broke their world record. With this page the wait for Earthโ€™s own sun will soon be over.

Indian Writing in English by Srinivas Iyengar

According to Srinivas Iyengar Indian Literature means is a literature produced in various state like Assam, Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and other states but produced in English language.

The word Indo-Anglican was first used in 1883 in Calcutta โ€œspecimen compositions from native studentsโ€, Srinivas Iyengar used it in 1943. He advised the Indian writers that English has become as our language, though it is primarily from the Englishmenโ€™s. he asks the Englishmen to welcome and appreciate Indian writers in English, he said that Indian writing in English is compared to Shakuntala and he asks the Indian writers to be gracious and accept the writings.

According to Srinivasa Iyengar there are three types of Indian writers in English. First those who have acquired their education in English schools and universities. Secondly, Indians who have settled in abroad but are constantly in touch in changing the surrounding and traditions of their country of adoption. Finally, those who have acquired English as their second language.

After Independence more journals came in English and university publication is also greater in English. He says the Yeats disapproves of using a foreign language. Another Irish person approves it and said that allowing English will also allow that allowing English will allow Hindi. He says that English is a ruling language in India and also said that both English men and Indians started accepting Indian writing in English.

Indian writers in English had more publication and popularity and also the leaders who are well versed in both native language and English. Toru Dutt, Sarojini Naidu and Sri Aurobindo wrote in English and not in Bengali. They used English to represent the Indian Culture and spirit.

He said some negatives that were pointed on Indian writing in English, they were,

It is called a parasitic literature.

It is like one animal imitating the other.

Felt poor when compared to their own language.

Finally, we are here to see the Indian criticism in Indian writing,

Indian critical works should also have strong standard and base. Translation of terms and tradition from Indian language to English is difficult. An Indian writing must satisfy both Indian and English readers.

We need an experimental critical approach and we should approach this literature with open mind.

Necessity Of Copious Technologies For Covid Testing – 2nd Wave

During this pandemic period, people in various states are getting affected a lot. Especially some people staying out of the country who are away from their natives are getting financially affected. Most individuals were fired off from their jobs, no food for many of the street animals and so on. This led to mental pressure in people, which in-turn had also contrived their daily lifestyle.ย

Is it possible to make covid test for the whole masses of people in the country?

In-spite of being possible, it is a challenge for the higher officials, to take over this issue and solve it in a short period of time. Besides this, people are also in motion from state to state, district to district and even from country to country. Because of this, the work of the corporation, healthcare industries, mainly the doctors and cops is rapidly increasing. If one group of family has tested for covid, the work is over for that time alone. But some individuals might enter the family from various states or districts or even countries. This would lead to testing again and again, where the scarcity arises. Testing stays the foundation of clinical reaction to any illness and to any pandemic specifically. Numerous new tests are currently accessible on the lookout however tragically, we actually don’t completely think about some basic issues around test accessibility and test qualities.

Initiatives taken & to be taken by the esteemed Governmentย ย

State governments and well-being authorities ought to foster systems for various kinds of tests. Enormous numbers of SARS-CoV-2 contamination are gentle or asymptomatic in nature and may stay undetected by the observation framework, particularly with the changes in the infection. Subsequently, populace based sero-studies are considered as an important apparatus in assessing the extent of the populace recently contaminated with SARS-CoV2-Various state governments have done sero reviews, that can assist the public authority with choosing their testing strategies. At an administration level sero-studies are basic to comprehend and screen the pattern in the commonness of the Covid-19 infection; at an individual level we should get ourselves checked for the disease at the soonest so ideal treatment can occur.

Parcel of work has been finished by the public authority to make mindfulness and guarantee that the test stays reasonable for the populace on the loose. With the quantity of cases expanding regularly, it’s an ideal opportunity to reconsider how we might speed up without settling on the exactness of the outcome. There is news that with the expanding tension in the labs, it is requiring 2-3 days for them to report a test outcome. It is currently an ideal opportunity for us to assess other testing procedures, such as going for Covid Antigen test dependent on Enhanced Chemiluminescence Technology which has similar exactness to RT-PCR yet can give results at a much quicker speed.

There is part of discussion going on the adequacy and exactness of indicative tests . As you would see it, which one is ideal here in India and why?

It’s accepted that what we need is mass trying by an innovation which has excellent affectability and explicitness, with a higher throughput-so the clinicians and the patients can get their outcomes at the most punctual. The clinicians can follow up on it soon without agonizing over the exactness of the results. We are for the most part mindful of the difficulties that a considerable lot of the nations confronted concerning the precision of the Rapid test. There is no uncertainty that between the two, RT-PCR is a superior alternative yet very much like “Equity postponed is equity denied,” I would say that deferred result anyway exact, would not be of any worth to the patients if not written about time. This is the place where VITROS SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Test turns out to be helpful. Dissimilar to RT-PCR which requires part of stuff, VITROS SARS-CoV-2 Antigen is a simple test which should be possible on a computerized stage with a similar exactness to that of RT-PCR .

KNOW THYSELF

Some people want their story of life to be an adventure. They want to climb high mountains or do things that no one has ever done before. But the greatest adventure is to know own self, to know the real us, the one that never changes even if your body ages. Have we ever worked on our relation with our self ? or , have we been more concerned with what other people think of us? we worry more about how our neighbors, friends, colleagues see us because we have learned to measure our success and status with the scales of this world.

But at the end we have to realize that apart from excelling in all the spheres of materialistic world, we also have to make sure that we do succeed in being a REAL HUMAN BEING.

China’s Three Child Policy

After so many years of the formulation of the one child policy in China it has now moved to another policy which is the three children policy .

There are certain reasons behind this new policy after so many years and also many lives of the millions of people have been affected by this policy .

Following are a set of key reasons :

Lower Birth Rate = In China only 12 million new born babies are born this year . It is certainly the lowest number of births in China from a long time .

This is not only the first time when the number of births in China is very low .ย  After the one child policy which was first implemented in 1960’s the graph of births has gone down gradually .

They must learn from India in which so many children are born every second and which is about to overtake China’s population in the upcoming years .

Higher Proportion of Old age Population = Old aged people are a burden for the country . The people above the age of 60 years constitute to nearly 60 percentage of the entire China’s population .

As they do not earn any income and do not perform any economic activity they are simply an increasing burden for the economy as a whole . There in no addition in the national income or GDP from such group .

Failure of the Two Child Policy = The government has realized it earlier thereby it set up a two child policy a few years ago . But all its efforts were in vain as it did not showed an fruitful results in favor of the economy .

These were all the reasons that forced the Government of China to formulate a new policy based on which it formed the three child policy .

Education system of India

Our country India has always been renowned for gaining education since the Vedic period. Education is one of the most vital resources which shapes the child’s future. The contradictions and debates upon the education system have been going for ages. These discussions have helped to expose the loopholes present in our education. Let us talk about those loopholes and their solutions.
1) We all know about the shuffling process that certain schools tend to follow. The purpose behind this was to enhance the social skills of the child. However, this creates instability for both students and teachers. We never get to experience an understanding bond between a teacher and a student. After studying from a particular teacher, a student gets familiar with the teaching manner; he/she can grasp the concept instantly. Yet, when this bond comes to an end, it affects the studies of the student. In addition, the student finds it challenging to make new companions to whom they can turn to comfort. The solution is quite clear; his process of shuffling needs to conclude.

2) Most of the students have trouble finding an opportunity where they can showcase their creativity. The reason behind it is that there is less room for practical knowledge. The students learn and give examinations based on their textbooks. We need to increase the space for creativity by inventing new events and competitions.

3) In addition, the schools tend to focus more on studies than moral values. As a result, the student fails to respect the dignity of others. We should make them learn how to respect and stop pointing out other’s flaws. An ideal student should be able to lift other’s morale and persuade them to flaunt their flaws. An excellent way to this is by organizing interactive life skills sessions.

4) Furthermore, we all have felt weariness while sitting in the class due to lack of interest. It is a very general problem; faced by all the students. The reason behind this lack of curiosity. We need to wonder about teaching techniques to generate interest amongst the students. This will make the classroom sessions more interactive and fun.

5) Another problem that arises is a lack of inauthentic learning. The students fail to understand the obstacles of life. They are not taught about income tax or salary. The bookish knowledge perhaps fails to help them overcome the real problems in life. The teaching methods should be shaped in such a way that moral values and practical knowledge are considered more significant. For this, we need to adapt to modern teaching methods and analyze the best way students grasp their concepts.

6) The major downside of the current system of education is that it is not simply affordable. Nowadays, more than 37% of people are living below the poverty level. Hence, they cannot afford education even at the primary level

Moreover, India is a developing country; the present scenario of the Indian education system stands a chance to be renewed. The sole step to be taken is to boost ourselves. The answer lies in the question.- How to improve the quality of education? The answer is โ€œEducationโ€. The vital way to improve education is education.

Teachers and environment are two important factors

Years back having completed my degree I was toying with many ideas that flitted across my mind what would be the future hold for me?what was my goal?as l pondered over these thoughts. My father put forth before me a suggestion _become a teacher _I was stunned for l considered myself to be very timid and an introvert! But believe me l have never ever regretted my decisions of taking up teaching as my profession As I began my career l suddenly realized that a whole class of valuable children hung on to the words l spoke.IT dawned onto me that children were soft, supple, delicate, young minds that could be molded. Their transformation into strong, healthy minded individuals was reward enough for the years of toil spent in the classroom. Swami vivekananda said The true teacher is one who can come down to the level of her student,,A true teacher is a nation builder. It is said that we are the makers of our own destiny. Do feel that teachers have a great role to play as they build, rebuild, shape and reshape the future of a country .these best teachers are those that show you where to look but don’t tell you what to see”,said Alexander. K.Trenfor.An ideal teacher uses all her skills to develop and nature the interest and personality of her students. A good teacher has a dynamic part to play in the lives of students. She imparts knowledge, kindness, their ambition, helps them, goals them to shed their inhibitions, imbibe good values and overall develop into responsible citizens of our country .Rabindranath Tagore has beautifully said, A lamp cannot light another until it continues to burn.so also a teacher must Constantly update her skills to feed the hungry minds with a treasure trove of knowledge. New methods, new techniques must all be in their Forte.Aristotle has said, progress of a nation is decided….not elsewhere but in the schools where the minds of future citizens are being molded.Teachers have a crucial role to play in society as thousands of children, who have been entrusted to them a tender age pass through their hands as young adolescents. Teachers have to plY the role of a facilitator who gently guide the enthusiastic young minds to become full fledged individuals. An education that reaches the heart of student can be the most rewarding gift for a teacher. The love and affection showered on teachers by student can be the most rewarding gift for a teacher.by student cannot be compared to any other asset that a teacher can possess. As years roll by and hundreds of students walk all over the world having found a niche for themselves in this wonderful world.,somewhere the heart of a teacher swells with pride that/he/she been instrumental in playing a part in their success .plants cannot leave without nature is so meaningful and beautiful so nature had the ability to balance the environment and ecosystem valley and water so this natural and no beauty in the world cannot compare the beauty of nature planting trees will bring more oxygen but these two has a meaning one cannot leave without another nature need plants, plants need environment like wise student needs teacher ,buy teacher cannot leave without student is success of student without these nature and students these teacher and plants cannot survive in this world this is important in our life.Thank you dedicated to all my teachers and all environment supporters
