Choosing a career

Choice of career is now every day, a quite mind-boggling process within which young men and girls can set the ball rolling but, how far success touches them isn’t difficult to determine. In times, there have been very limited choices for the young to pursue as avenues and openings were very limited. There were, basically just three avenues of education, and that they were followed by just the identical three avenues of service. The three options are engineering, medicine, and arts. Thus, after completion of education, the youth were just caught up to those job avenues available within the ambit of their studies. At that time in time, it had been felt that the degrees had been earned after much labor, but the careers offered weren’t to their satisfaction. At times, it had been even felt that the individual’s potential wasn’t being fully tapped by the roles offered. This led to a good amount of dissatisfaction among the promising young. However, this might not be helped because there have been no others offers to come their way. With such planning for a career where one just had to accept any offer as there was nothing else to return, often clothed to be disastrous. Irrespective of what happened, there was, at that point, no way of fixing the career, for one there was the limited scope and secondly, the degree had tied the individual to an awfully specific job. This was fairly often very frustrating. This example has now changed quite a bit as there are numerous avenues for careers. regardless of the individual’s taste, there are avenues of service for each taste and each capacity. As an example, if a person has no liking for studies, and instead likes to dance or sing, there are an enormous number of options he/she has, to carve a career for himself/herself. Today, irrespective of what a person likes to try to do, he/she has an avenue open for a sound career. There are choices for the youngsters to channelize their attention wholesale to the topic of their choice for a career. With this, the attitudes of individuals have also changed, to create it easier for the young to regulate the career of their choice. This is often because every career has now attained dignity and financial growth for equal capacity. This was also a hurdle in earlier times. In days lapsed example, dancing, singing, and acting were all taboo for kids of fine respectable families. Now, with this attitudinal change in society, children even from the foremost respectable families can enter these avenues. This has also contributed to the expansion of the career horizontal. In point of fact, even during this situation of multitudes of avenues to settle on from, the kids are still finding it a difficult moment to decide on a career. Even as previously children had very limited choice, today they need an excessive amount of a spread that, they drift within the labyrinth of choices, and sometimes wind up within the wrong place. this can be because, at the time and age at which children pass out of XIIth, they don’t know what they need to become. only a few children at this age are correctly focussed that, they know just exactly what they need for his or her career. These children know what they need to become and where they’ll excel, given their aptitude and their liking, and their circumstances. Thus within the matter of a choice of a career, I’d say the position has little question changed but, it can not be called completely foolproof. Expect for the only a few children who are very clear and focussed, the bulk who are common, keep hobnobbing with different choices, because the attraction in each case seems to be great enough to draw in attention, and it’s here that they fail to measure their real slot where they may fit and achieve success. Besides this, the common class of youngsters now and then even the very clear-headed and focussed children get to face their limitations because of external circumstances. Then the competition is most that, fairly often even the superb students fail to induce the career of their choice, and thus forced to suit themselves in a very career of their second or maybe third choice. Thus, within the choice of a career, several phenomena play a component, and whether or not the kids know exactly what they require they fail to induce it as a career. Thus, although several avenues of service have opened, attitudes have changed there are umpteen children who don’t want what they get and don’t get what they need, they simply need to follow a career to earn a living. this is often a matter of the common child even today with most development within the employment segment. This can be because, for one, the typical child isn’t sufficiently focused to form the proper choice, and while options have increased competition has also skyrocketed.

At first stage, you were not allowed to take birth if your gender is identified as female. Such practices are now banned by government and are considered to be illegal. “A SIMPLE SELF IMPROVEMENT TECHNIQUE”

“A SIMPLE SELF IMPROVEMENT TECHNIQUE”

Nowadays, there is a growing interest in self growth and self improvement techniques. There is a growing number of books, articles and websites dealing with these topics.

It seems that people are turning within them, to find the solution to their problems. They seek knowledge, techniques, workshops, lectures, and teachers, who can show them the way.

People are beginning to understand that self improvement and self growth can improve the quality of their lives. It is not enough to read articles and books. You also have to practice what you read. Inner change requires motivation, desire, ambition, perseverance and dedication.

When you starting with a self improvement program, it is common to encounter inner resistance that comes from your old habits and from your subconscious mind, and also resistance and opposition from the people around you.

The desire to change, build new habits, and to improve yourself must be strong enough to resist laziness, the tendency to give up, and the fear and ridicule of opposition from family, friends or colleagues.Let me tell you something about myself. I have been attracted to self improvement from an early age, and have regarded it as a source of inner strength and happiness, and as a way to a improve my life.

One of the most useful techniques I discovered and used, was a simple, but very effective technique. It consisted of watching how people behave and act in various situations, and then looking inside myself, to find out whether I behaved in the same way under the same conditions.

When I saw people with certain traits of character, or a certain kind of behavior that I did not like, I examined myself to find out whether I possessed those traits of character too.
If I did, I visualized in my mind a different sort of behavior. In my mindโ€™s eye, I saw myself with the opposite traits of character. I visualized myself in various situations, in which I manifested the new behavior.
When I encountered traits of character or behavior, which I liked, I used to think about their advantages and benefits, and about their importance in my life. Here too, I used visualization and affirmations, and strived to enact them in my daily life.
In this way, I learned and benefited a lot from the behavior and actions of the people around me, at work, at home, on the street, and everywhere else. This exercise was never for the purpose of judging other people or taking advantage of them, but for learning how to act, react and behave in a better way.

This process had another benefit. It increased my knowledge and understanding about how the mind and the emotions affect the behavior and the actions of people. It gave me more understanding of people and their behavior and how to get along better with them.

If you start using this self improvement techniques you will soon see positive changes in your life.

Watch how people talk, how they raise their voice or speak calmly. Watch the reactions of people. Look at how people walk, sit and carry their body. you can learn a great deal from watching their behavior.

A certain kind of behavior creates certain reactions. Often, how we act and behave, determine how people treat us. Try to be aware of how people act, and how other people treat them. This can help you to determine what changed you need to make in your behavior.

4)The effect of the voice:

Pay attention to the way people use their voice and how they react to other peopleโ€™s voices.

Watch how you feel and how you react when people shout, or speak softly.

Watch what happens when people get angry, restless and upset, and what happens to you and to others, when they are calm and relaxed.

5)Pay attention to what you do not like:

If you do not like what you see, analyze why you do not like it. Then, analyze your own behavior to find out, whether you behave in the same way. Be honest and impartial in your analysis.

6)Avoid negative behavior:

If you discover that you possess some of these undesirable traits of character and behavior that you do not like, affirm to yourself often that every time you catch yourself behaving in this way, you are going to be aware of them, and do your best to avoid them.

7)Use your imagination to build new habits:

Play in your mind a mental scene of how you would like to act and behave. Repeat this mental scene several times a day, every day.

What you imagine in your mind sinks into your subconscious mind and gradually, becomes a habit.

8)Use your imagination to build good habits:

When you detect in someone character traits or habits you like and desire to possess, try to act in a similar way. Here too, imagine several times each day a scene, where you act and behave in that different, better way.

9)Use visualization often:

Think and visualize over and again in your mind how you would like to act and behave.

10)Remind yourself of the changes you want to make:

Constantly, remind yourself of the changes you desire to make, and strive to act according to them. Every time that you find yourself acting according to your old habits, remember your decision to change and improve, and act accordingly.

Hazards of modern living

Modern living may be a living both very comfortable and extremely tiring, both at the identical time. This may be very easily analyzed after we study the life of middle-class modern families. With ever many modern mechanical gadgets the housewife of today finds her household work much easier and faster than her counterpart of yesteryears. Within a really short period, she is in a position to try to do the whole household chores, and then, she is in a very position to devote her time to other activities of her interest. Such good but, within the bargain, she loses out on the hassle and exercise she could have gotten if she did all this work manually. This problem gets still further compounded if the housewife is additionally a working woman. Yes, then the advantage of mechanical gadgets is useful but take a look at her plight early within the morning when she has also to travel to the office in time. With such a lot workload she has also to travel to the office in time. With such a lot of workload, she becomes a machine and despite all the gadgets at her disposal, she gets no respite from rushing all the time. She becomes more sort of a robot doing all the work home and at the office or workplace sort of a machine. She here also loses out on the finer aspects of family-like love, care, and therefore the like as she has no time for these frivolities. Thus the girl who was once an image of care features a lot that sheen of the finer qualities of womanhood. She is now a machine with no feelings, no time, no special interests, she is all the time as if shunting between the house and also the office. So much for the change within the lifetime of the girl, the person also who always had to figure outside the house may now be earning a handsome pay but, by allowing the wife to figure outside the house is no longer at the receiving end anymore. He gets minimum that she wont to once shower on him when she had the time to try and do so. Now, because the woman is getting into the man’s shoes, she is and just must become hardened like him as she has no time to pamper him. Thus within the so-called modern kind of living the person is additionally a loser, he’s losing out on the emotional touch he got before the bug of modernity stung the family. As for the youngsters within the modern scheme of things I feel are the best losers within the family. They are doing head to the most effective of faculties because the family can well afford it, they play the simplest of games, have the foremost modern friends, but they grow in an environment which is deprived of love affection and every one the fragile emotions as there’s no time in anybody schedules to have interaction within the show of affection and interest. They are doing not get the texture of their mother’s loving cares nor their fathers joining the sport being played. Since these children are completely going out of the finer feelings of life and humans, they’re also, in turn, developing into more robots that employ simply mechanically. This leads to the youngsters having no attachments, no emotions which the humans are gifted with, and which feelings develop only with the specified circumstances. These children developing in modern nuclear families also are deprived of the pampering of the grandparents. The loving and interesting stories of the grandmother and jumping and frisking with the grandfather are missing entities during this contemporary world. Thus, fashionable living though very rewarding and satisfying has resulted in a very complete loss of human values, human emotions, and human attitudes. it’s these qualities that separate the individual from other living beings, and, if we’ve lost these qualities, I dare say we don’t seem to be faring any better than the lower species of life. The hazards of recent living are so great that they need resulting in destroying the very basic fabric of family life and loosened the bonds of the family of which we were proud within the past. In today’s world, the findings of technology, smartphone users have increased higher than usual.ย  As screen time increases and also risk for more diseases are also getting a chance of increasing. There’s undoubtedly an amazing growth within the financial status of families but it’s simultaneously resulted in an absolute loss of humanness of the members of the family. It’s now for us to make your mind up if this contemporary living is healthier and easier than the lifestyle elapsed.

“8 BENEFITS OF JOURNALING FOR YOUR SUCCESS”

Keeping a journal was something that I had neglected for many years. However, when I started blogging, I asked myself why not journal again? This is indeed a great decision that Iโ€™ve taken! Read my blog post to see how journaling equips you in planning for success.

1. Achieve goals:

I make use of daily journaling to achieve my set goals! It helps me to monitor my progress and see when I need to go back on track (so that I donโ€™t derail from my milestones). Journaling will keep you focused on what you want to achieve with long-term benefits.

โ€œWriting in a journal reminds you of your goals and of your learning in life. It offers a place where you can hold a deliberate, thoughtful conversation with yourself.โ€

2. Aspects of life:

Journaling will bring you many benefits. You can use it as you want to, to see progress in any aspects of your life that youโ€™re determined to improve and work on. Set and track your personal, professional or any other types of goals. You may even instead choose to record daily life events, thoughts of gratitude, ponder on ideas in your mind and more.

3. Life purpose:

key to achieving what you really want to. The life goals that you set for yourself, need to be reflected on. This way you put in hard work and precious time, only on the things that you truly want to accomplish!

4. Intentional living:

When you journal about the right goals for yourself, you ensure that youโ€™re moving in the right direction. Intentional living involves knowing/thinking about what you truly want to achieve.

โ€œMy job in space will be to observe and write a journal. I am also going to be teaching a class for students on earth about life in space and on the space shuttle and conducting experiments.โ€

5. Emotional Quotient (EQ):

When you spend time expressing yourself on paper, youโ€™re aware of your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. You understand and accept them, thus, can take calculated actions! With better EQ, you can work on harnessing relationships that matter to you, both in your personal and professional life.

6. Be accountable:

With the habit of daily journaling, you hold yourself accountable for how youโ€™re progressing towards your set goals. Think of it as business reporting! You need to answer about your results and improve upon whatโ€™s not quite up to the level.

7. Analyze situations:

Youโ€™ll be better equipped to analyze matters in a rational way. This, in turn, will help you to act in a wise and informed manner. You can then better avoid misunderstandings and future regrets. Youโ€™ll make the most of handling situations and avoid blunders!

8. Mindfulness:

Reflecting upon your thoughts, feelings, and emotions before acting has mental health benefits. Meditation and journaling go hand in hand. Include both in your daily routine and live mindfully!

โ€œWhether youโ€™re keeping a journal or writing as a meditation, itโ€™s the same thing. Whatโ€™s important is youโ€™re having a relationship with your mind.โ€

There are various ways that you can choose to journal. You may prefer a traditional pen and paper notebook, use online apps, or illustrateโ€ฆ feel free to be creative. Choose the most convenient and interesting way that suits your personality!

9)Journaling boosts your creativity:

Letโ€™s face it, most people live their lives to please others. Most of their time is spent on helping other people achieve their objectives by submitting to their solicitations. These people have not yet organized their minds consciously for them to command their waking and sleeping time. They keep reacting to their environment with no inner guidance.

For instance, the majority of people wake up and look at their messages or emails immediately. Reacting to other peopleโ€™s agenda is their number one priority. On the other hand, successful people wake up and immediately journal for a couple of minutes. Creative people focus more on output than input. Detaching yourself from technological addiction and servitude and focusing on understanding yourself will improve your life.

10)Journaling helps you achieve your goals:

Morning hours are usually the most creative hours because the mind is active. Journaling and reviewing your goals every morning will help you achieve them faster. Knowing what you want is the first step to getting it.

As the popular saying goes, you canโ€™t hit a target you canโ€™t see. Reading and rewriting your goals makes it easier for them to be transferred to the subconscious mind which is the key to manifesting your goals.

11)Journaling helps you recover:

According to academic reviews, people who struggle to succeed in their environment can benefit a lot by journaling. Most people spend so much time living in the past and future. Only a few realize the importance of the present moment.

Journaling prevents the mind from wandering by forcing it to focus on the present moment. Most people suffering from depression and trauma are usually encouraged to journal so that they can focus on the present moment. Once you understand yourself completely, the doors will open.

12)Journaling enhances clarity:

Clarity is the key to success in everything you do. A disorganized mind is the greatest liability one can ever have. Additionally, a disorganized mind is not a clear mind.

By journaling every morning, youโ€™ll start seeing how your life is clear. Youโ€™ll know what needs to be eliminated and adjusted for you to move forward. Once you are clear with yourself, you will gradually start feeling happy about yourself. Youโ€™ll discover that you have the potential to become whatever you want.

13)Journaling improves learning:

As we said earlier, teachers and professors encourage students to take notes because it helps them retain information in the long run. Writing things down boosts your memory and increases the development of your brain. If youโ€™ve been wondering why mentors encourage their mentees to write down their goals, now you know why. Additionally, journaling helps you solve complex problems which further improve your learning experience.

14)Journaling increases gratitude:

Gratitude is the key that connects us to the supreme. After getting what they want, most people break this connection by forgetting to be grateful for what they have regularly. If you want more things in life, you have to be grateful for the things you have now otherwise, your life will be a total waste.

The best way to be grateful for what you have is to write about them. When doing this exercise, youโ€™ll find yourself putting the pen down and thinking deeply. When you focus on what you have, you will naturally attract more because you are operating from a place of abundance.

On the other hand, people who are not grateful operate from a place of scarcity most of the time. And this drives people and things away from them. Gratitude has proven to make people happy, likable, and understand their emotions along with becoming healthier and optimistic.

15)Journaling boosts self-confidence:

Journaling is all about helping you accept yourself the way you are. Today, the majority of people donโ€™t like themselves the way they are. In fact, these people cannot look at themselves in a mirror.

Lack of self-confidence is one of the top reasons why people never achieve their most important goals. If you do not feel confident about yourself, how do you expect others to trust and feel happy around you?

Journaling helps you understand your thoughts and emotions clearly. Someone who understands himself or herself will accept himself or herself the way he or she is. Once you accept yourself the way you are, the world around you will accept you the way you are. Remember, the world around you reflects who you are on the inside.

16)Journaling strengthens self-discipline:

Setting aside some time to journal every day is an act of discipline in itself. Think of discipline as a muscle, the more you use it, the stronger it gets. An act repeated overtime creates a habit.

In general, people who are disciplined in one area of life tend to be disciplined in other areas of life such as keeping their desks and houses tidy and working hard to accomplish the daysโ€™ objectives. In order to experience success, youโ€™ve got to stay disciplined and consistent.

As youโ€™ve seen, journaling has several proven benefits that you canโ€™t ignore. You need to start journaling if you havenโ€™t started. You have to be patient and consistent with journaling for you to start seeing the results. Remember, once you understand yourself, nothing will stop you from achieving your dreams. As the Greek philosopher said, know thyself.

The diligent working woman’s priority

The home has always been a woman’s priority, it still is and shall always remain. It’s the lady who makes a home into a home, with all the outpouring of her love, care, devotion, and exertions. This fact has always been recognized by all and hard truth of a man’s life but, today this fact is being intentionally move size. The rationale is simply the woman’s, working outside the house. The education of ladies has, on the one hand, making them capable of shouldering burdens of life more exquisitely and, on the opposite side, this has led to a form of catastrophe for the house. This can be because once the lady is educated and becomes capable of earning, she prefers to carve out a career for herself. This can be significantly fine and as everyone would love. However, this working women as a category, become more inclined to avoid, dislike and even think about housework as being a task below her dignity. For it’s here that this class of working women has been born to an enormous number of problems within the family and society. This has created problems that were unparalleled ever before in India. This has created problems that were unparalleled ever before in India. Once the girl is functioning outside the house, the house automatically gets neglected. The explanations for this neglect aren’t far to hunt. For one, when the lady has figured out for the full day, she is left with no energy to figure reception after the day’s work, a genuine cause. Besides being tired, she is now also seen losing interest in engaging at home. She just does the minimum to stay the family going, with no interest in making any improvements within the home. Now, once she has started working and earning, she also very naturally develops the need to behave just like the man who was till now, the privileged one. This attitude as hers, brings in its trail her continuous loss of interest within the family and her top priority, being enhancing her career prospects. All this development within the status of ladies has been born into a cross-section of multifarious problems. The first to suffer at hands of those working women are the poor innocent children, who don’t seem to be ready to get any quality time to spend with their mothers. The result’s disobedient rude children, who are often out of control as they become old. They become, carless children as, they see none of the fragile emotions being showered upon them, so, how and from where will they learn these finer emotions of life. The elders nowadays absolutely no place in such a home. They’re often neglected and even ousted from the house on the identical pretext or the opposite. This successively has given rise to a replacement problem of senior citizens, which never existed in India. As for the approaching and welcoming of guests in homes of working women could be a thing unwarranted. When the lady is out of the house for the full day, who will take care of guests. So, with women working outside the house the concept of entertaining guests is out of all programs. Thus, care of kids, care of elders, care of the other members of the family, and care of guests are all lost within the maze of the schedule of the working woman. This situation has led to the mushroom growth of creches, where the youngsters spend their quality time, maturity homes for the uncared old parents, and therefore the community of guests is lost completely. Of these problems, I understand that is given impetus by the one act of ladies figuring out of their homes. Besides, when the little child gets his training in an exceedingly creche, as he grew up, as he grows up, he finally ends up with a brand new problem of dependency. Of these problems in our society is traced down to the working of girls. On the one hand, it’s true that the working woman adds to the family income, improves the quality of the family as far because the income of the family is worried. She adds to her personal; image but, all this can be achieved at the value of insoluble problems created within the family and therefore the society. Now, once she becomes an equal partner in real terms, she is guaranteed to become a cause for worry for the person of the family, as his ego and manly pride take a flight to the winds. Thus, this ends within the man’s revolting reception, in society, and within the office. The man’s argument now could be that when a lady is equal, why should she get any privileges as a girl. This response of the person to the working woman is, I feel quite justified, and right to a good extent. The person who was without delay time, an uncrowned king of the house, family, and society is now being so challenged. All these problems have arisen thanks to the straightforward fact of the woman’s understanding of the house, shoulder to shoulder with the person.

FREE DUMP OF SPEECH AND EXPRESSION

Diverse Country worth a Population of 1.3 Billion. The Diversity lies in the fact that, According to Census of India of 2001, India has 122 major languages and 1599 other languages. However, figures from other sources vary, primarily due to differences in definition of the terms “language” and “dialect”. The 2001 Census recorded 30 languages which were spoken by more than a million native speakers and 122 which were spoken by more than 10,000 people. Secular nature of the country also shows us the diversity of the country. A Country which incorporates in itself around 6 religions which altogether has different practises. And A Country of this huge stretch from north to south and from east to west needs a tolerant and incorporating governance.
Today, we are living in a world where we are forced to stand for the national anthem at a movie theatre, we are told what we can and cannot eat, what we can and cannot see, and what we can and cannot speak about. Dissent, especially in the university space, is being curbed, and sloganeering and flag raising have become tests for nationalism. We have a 21-year old University student who is subject to severe online hate, abuse, and threats, only because she dared express her views. In any society, at any given point of time, there will always be people holding divergent views. Such views are integral and inevitable in a healthy, functioning democracy. Nowhere has this been better expressed than by the judgment of the Bombay High Court in F.A. Picture International v CBFC, where the Court said:
โ€œHistory tells us that dissent in all walks of life contributes to the evolution of society. Those who question unquestioned assumptions contribute to the alteration of social norms. Democracy is founded upon respect for their courage. Any attempt by the State to clamp down on the free expression of opinion must hence be frowned uponโ€
Unfortunately, however, our institutions of learning are under attack today and there is a concerted attempt to destroy any independent thought. Today, sadly, in this country I love, if anyone holds a view that is different from the governmentโ€™s โ€œacceptableโ€ view, they are immediately dubbed as โ€œanti-nationalโ€ or โ€œdesh-drohiโ€. This marker of โ€œanti-nationalโ€ is used to intimidate and browbeat voices of dissent and criticism, and more worryingly, can be used to slap criminal charges of sedition against them.
Present Society has turned into a platform which calls for Freedom of Expression to be provided to them with Immediate effect as It has been around 68 Years of our Constitution to be Implemented and Fundamental rights been inalienable then too Citizens are been booked by law but Violating the Fundamental right of Citizens of freedom of speech and Expression thatโ€™s why the Topic has been Given an expression of โ€œFree-Dumpโ€ In place of Freedom as this Freedom is being dumped by the Public servants such as Police as well as the Government by arresting students of college for expressing their views for the government policies as well as also lathi charging on girl student for protesting providing for right causes.
Constitution provides for the Citizens this right to express their views without being booked by law but otherwise provides for the same giving people the incentive to express whatever they feel Infront of Government as no Government is perfect and cannot takeaway the fundamental rights of people with the help of other laws.

Durga Pooja

Durga Pooja is a Hindu festival celebrating the mother goddess and the victory of the heroic goddess Durga over the demon Mahisasura. The festival represents the power of women as โ€˜Shaktiโ€™ in Space. It’s a Good over Evil Festival. Durga Pooja is one of India’s biggest festivals. In addition to being a Hindu festival, it is also a time of family and friends reunion, as well as a cultural festival.

The Importance of Durga Pooja
While the festivals bring a celebration of fasting and devotion for ten days, the last four days of the festival namely Saptami, Ashtami, Navami, and Vijaya-Dashami are celebrated with brilliance and splendor in India, especially in Bengal and overseas.

Durga Pooja festivals vary in location, culture, and beliefs. Things vary so much that in some places the festival lasts for five days, in some places for seven days and in some places for ten full days. The reunion begins with ‘Shashti’ – the sixth day and ends with ‘VijayaDashmi’ – the tenth day.

The goddess Durga was the daughter of Himalayas and Menka. She later became Sati to marry King Shiva. It is believed that the Durga pooja festival dates back to when King Rama worshiped the goddess to gain power over her to kill Ravana.

In some communities, especially in Bangal, the festival is celebrated by decorating the โ€˜pandandโ€™ in the surrounding regions. On the last day, they go again to immerse the goddess in the sacred river Ganges.

Some believe that another story after the festival was that on this day the goddess Durga defeated the demon Mahisasura. He was called by the Lord of the trinity – Shiva, Brahma, and Vishnu to destroy the demon and save the world at his feet. The battle continued for ten days and finally, on the tenth day, Goddess Durga cast out the demon. We celebrate the tenth day like Dussehra or Vijayadashami.

Traditions Performed During the Durga Pooja Time
The festivities date back to the time of the Mahalaya, when devotees asked Goddess Durga to come to earth. On this day, they made eye contact with the statue of the goddess during a beautiful ceremony called Chokkhu Daan. After erecting a statue of the goddess Durga in their place, they performed rituals to enhance her blessed presence in the images at Saptami.

These traditions are called ‘Pran Pratisthan’. It consists of a small banana plant known as Kola Bou (banana bride), which is taken to bathe in a nearby river or lake, wrapped in a sari, and used as a means of carrying the divine power of God.

During the festival, devotees offer prayers to God and worship him in a variety of ways. After the evening ritual of aarti is performed on the eighth day it is a ritual of traditional religious dance performed before the Goddess to please her. The dance is performed to the accompaniment of musical drums while holding a clay pot filled with a cover of a burning coconut and camphor.

On the ninth day, the worship is completed with Maha Aarti. It is a symbol of the end of great rituals and prayers. On the last day of the festival, the goddess Durga returns to her husband’s residence and the orders of the goddess Durga are taken for immersion in the river. Married women donated vermillion red powder to Goddess and tagged themselves with the powder.

The Conclusion
Everyone celebrates and enjoys the festival regardless of their age and financial status. Durga Pooja is a major public and theater festival. Dancing and performing rituals are an important part of it. Delicious traditional food is also a big part of the festival. Kolkata Street flourishes with stalls and shops, where locals and foreigners enjoy a mouth-watering meal, including sweets. To celebrate Durga Pooja, all workplaces, educational institutions, and business premises remain closed in West Bengal. Many non-Bengali cultural centers organize Durga Pooja in many parts of the UK, USA, Australia, France and other countries. Therefore, the festival teaches us that good always overcomes evil and therefore we should always follow the right path.

Holi – Festival of colours

Holi is known as the festival of colors. Holi is celebrated annually with enthusiasm and enthusiasm in March by followers of the Hindu religion. Those who celebrate the festival, look forward to it every year with the desire to play with colors and have beautiful dishes.

The people forget their problems and indulged in this celebration of brotherhood with joy and happiness. In other words, we forget our animosity and get into a festive mood. Holi is called a festival of colors because people play with colors and apply it to each other’s faces to color in the essence of the festival.

Holi’s history
Hinduism believes that there was a satanic king named Hiranyakashyap long ago. He had a son named Prahlad who was a great disciple of Lord Vishnu. He also had a sister named Holika who had the blessings that fire could cause no harm to her. It is believed that the satanic king had the blessings of King Brahma. This blessing meant that no one, animal or weapon could kill him. This blessing became a curse to him as he became very proud. He commanded his kingdom to serve him instead of God, not to leave his own son.

After this, all the people began to worship him except his son, Prahlad. Prahlad refused to worship his father instead of God as he truly believed in King Vishnu. Seeing his disobedience, the king of Satan plotted to assassinate Prahlad. She sat him on the fire with her son in her lap, where Holika was burned and Prahlad came out safe. This showed that he was protected by his Master because of his devotion. Therefore, the people began to celebrate Holi as a victory for good over evil.

Holi Celebration
People celebrate Holi with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm, especially in North India. The day before the Holi, people performed a ritual called ‘Holika Dahan’. In this tradition, people pile piles of wood in public places to burn them. It shows the burning of evil forces in the review of the story of Holika and King Hiranyakashyap. In addition, they gathered around the Catholic Church to seek blessings and to dedicate themselves to God.

On the next day people celebrate their joy with colours. The people get up early and offer pooja to God. After that, they put on white clothes and played with colors. They pour water on each other. Children run around the water colors using water guns. Likewise, adults also become children on this day. They dye each other’s faces and dip them in water.

In the evening, they bathe and dress appropriately for visiting friends and family. They danced all day and drank a special drink called ‘bhaang’. People of all ages enjoy the special taste of holi โ€˜gujiyaโ€™ vigorously.

In short, Holi spreads love and brotherhood. It brings harmony and happiness to the world. Holi symbolizes the victory of good over evil. This colorful festival unites people and removes all forms of neglect in life.

Undeveloped embryos seem to switch their natural clock right off being developed

As individuals age, so do the entirety of our cells, which gather harm after some time. In any case, why our posterity doesn’t acquire those changes โ€” viably maturing a youngster even before birth โ€” has been a secret. At the point when you are conceived, you don’t acquire your folks’ age, says a formative researcher at MIT who contemplates the eternality of germline cells like eggs or sperm. For some explanation, you are at zero.Experts once imagined that germline cells may be ever-enduring โ€” some way or another shielded from the progression of time. However, examines have given indications of maturing in eggs and sperm, scattering that thought. So specialists have theorized that germline cells may rather reset their age after origination, switching any harm.

Researchers portray proof that upholds that revival speculation. Both mouse and human germline cells seem to reset their organic age in the beginning phases of an undeveloped organism’s turn of events. A restoration period that happens after an undeveloped organism has appended to the uterus sets the developing undeveloped organism at its most youthful natural age, named “ground zero,” scientists report June 25 in Science Advances. Seeing how germline cells invert maturing could assist analysts with creating medicines for age-related illnesses, like joint pain or Parkinson’s, says Vittorio Sebastiano, a formative scientist at Stanford University School of Medicine who was not engaged with the work. In such illnesses, certain cells may get broken because of harm. Resetting the age of those cells could keep them from causing issues.

It’s conceivable that this revival period “can be utilized and seized by one way or another to essentially attempt to advance comparable cycles of restoration in ordinary cells,” Sebastiano says. Vadim Gladyshev, a natural chemist and geneticist who studies maturing at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, and partners utilized atomic clocks to anticipate the surmised periods of mouse incipient organisms in the beginning phases of improvement. The timekeepers measure epigenetic changes, substance labels on DNA that can accumulate as cells age or are presented to things like contamination. Such labels can change a quality’s movement yet not the data that the quality contains.

By following epigenetic changes, the group tracked down that the age of the mouse incipient organisms remained steady during the principal phases of cell division quickly following preparation. In any case, by around 6.5 to 7.5 days into improvement, after an incipient organism connected to the uterus, the normal natural period of undeveloped organisms had plunged โ€” a sign that cells were going through some kind of revival occasion. A mouse undeveloped organism’s ground zero might be somewhere close to 4.5 to 10.5 days after preparation, the analysts say. Eventually during improvement, however the specific point is as yet muddled, mouse incipient organisms’ natural age then, at that point started to climb. Contemplating human incipient organisms at the soonest phases of advancement is restricted, so comparative information for people was inaccessible, Gladyshev says. Yet, some human undeveloped organisms that were marginally farther along being developed than the mouse incipient organisms didn’t promptly age, a clue that a comparative interaction occurs in individuals. The examination is an initial step and suggests more conversation starters than answers.

TIME MANAGEMENT

Everybody must have heard of this quote

“TIME AND TIDE WAITS FOR NO MAN”

The proverb tells everything. Nothing can stop time from flying away. It can never be bought with money. These evidently tell us the value of time. Time is the most valuable thing in a person’s life. The time which was wasted cannot be reversed or changed. Time cannot be also borrowed or saved. Time is so precious because we don’t know how much do we have still. You must have heard people investing their time for some purposes. Do not think it’s nothing much! If people are willing to invest some quality time with you, it means they are valuing you so much that they decide to share their valuable time to spend with you.

Time management is about making the most of your time. If it is effectively used, you can reap better things in your life. Time management can be really useful to a person to sort their activities in a particular way in order to avert the possibility of confusion.

TIPS TO HAVE A PROPER TIME MANAGEMENT:

It involves the time duration of the schedule, its deadline, listing activities and sorting them to necessary and unnecessary activities, number of breaks etc. There needs to be clear goals specified that needs to be accomplished within the time frame.
  2. AVOID DISTRACTIONS- Everybody might be good at planning a schedule but is often hard to follow for many. A person is behind a schedule only because of distractions. There can be no excuse about the comfortability of the schedule because each schedule is framed based on the basis of the capacity of individuals and were framed by themselves too!
  3. KEEP TRACK OF THE TIME LOGS- It is important to know how much time is needed to actually complete a scheduled work. Thus the time must be set after several trials to choose the optimum time it takes to complete a particular task.
  4. ENSURE YOU HAVE SUFFICIENT BREAKS- To follow your schedule continuously, you need sufficient breaks to rejuvenate your mind and body. Long and continuous working can make you lose track and you might end up running behind your schedule. Breaks are meant for relaxation so that you do not feel tired or lazy to continue your work. Humans, after all, are not machines.
  5. FIND YOUR BEST PRODUCTIVITY TIME- Some people might be feeling comfortable to work at nights while some feel good to work at mornings. Each person knows his/her strengths and weaknesses. Thus, it is the individual’s decision to find out the best suitable time for working.
  6. REWARD YOURSELF- Self-motivation is always the best. Rewarding yourself can really bring a state of happiness to you and encourage you to stay on track with the schedule. After all, what better reward can you receive than successfully achieving your goals?

WHY IS TIME MANAGEMENT IMPORTANT?

Time management makes your activities happen in an organised manner. There involves no tensions. It is all about sticking to your schedule. Time management teaches an individual punctuality and discipline. Joe Biden and NATO

President Joe Bidenโ€™s first overseas trip put his political and negotiating philosophy ahead of everyone, as he gathered traditional US democratic allies to tackle new and old challenges and proposed an often-rosy take on the options of cooperation with Russian President Vladimir Putin after a one-on-one summit.

Here are some key takeaways:

Biden and Putin didn’t use the word โ€œresetโ€ to label the condition of affairs between the 2 nations after their summit in Switzerland. But thatโ€™s what the meeting amounted to, with both men risking out clear areas of divergence, even as they pointed to smaller-scale areas where they could unite.

They expressed both a joint respect and a mutual scepticism. It was an sudden return to more conservative US-Russia inclosing after the presidency of Donald Trump, who often seemed to raise Putin and create at least the ambition that the countries could be more like partners.

This time, each leader left with the estimation that some of the old rules still apply. Russia returns to its place as a โ€œworthy adversary,โ€ as Biden put it, rather than some quite associate. And the longer-standing tensions, over cyberwarfare and human rights, remain.

After their three-hour meeting, Bidenโ€™s sunny character stood in sharp difference to the more sober, taciturn tone of Putin, who at times became self โ€“ justifying when asked questions by reporters about human rights violations in Russia and therefore the countryโ€™s attacks of Ukraine.

Even so, Biden recognized his optimism was more wishful thinking than reality.

โ€œIโ€™m getting to drive you all crazy because i do know you want me to always put a negative thrust on things, particularly publicly ,โ€ he said shortly before boarding Air Force One, adding, that way, โ€œyou guarantee nothing happens.โ€

It emphasized the presidentโ€™s talking style, whether it’s with Putin or with Senate Republicans reception on infrastructure โ€” during which he publicly expresses his confidence that a deal can be struck despite often overwhelming odds.

โ€œI know we make policy bent be this great, great skill that somehow quite “> is sort of kind of a cipher ,โ€ Biden said. โ€œAll policy could also be a logical extension of personal relationships. Itโ€™s the way human nature functions.โ€

He later added, โ€œThereโ€™s a worth to being realistic and to put on an optimistic front, an optimistic face.โ€

Bidenโ€™s eight-day, three-country foreign trip established his emphasis on private relationships above all.

โ€œThereโ€™s no substitute, as those of you who have covered me for a quick time know, for face-to-face dialogue between leaders. None,โ€ Biden said, stating his summit with Putin successful simply for the actual fact that they spoke face to face .

Throughout his trip, most of Bidenโ€™s meetings were conducted privately , without cameras, or with only a couple of moments hospitable media.

It highlighted Bidenโ€™s faith in immaterial personal ties that can drive policy outcomes, both foreign and domestic.

And it marked a clear leaving in style from Trump, whose carefree public meetings with global leaders became something of legend on the international stage. Relationships inclined to flow one way โ€” with sycophantic public displays by heads of state and government trying to get on Trumpโ€™s good side.

Biden is banking that those leaders will welcome a return to the โ€œold schoolโ€ approach.

Inflation: Common manโ€™s witch hunt

Now may be the best time to sing the folk song โ€˜Mehangai daiyin khaye jaat hโ€™ (Inflation named witch is a killer) but sadly singing a song is a challenge because coronavirus has killed the mood. Prices of food products and petrol have skyrocketed. The common man like always is helpless. With no job, the future seems shrouded in clouds of uncertainty. The government is doing its bit by provisioning the poor through ration distribution. This however cannot suffice for the uncertainties that are waiting ahead. To understand what is happening in India currently, we have to know about the concept of inflation.

Inflation simply means a rise in the price of goods that we, the consumers, use daily. In India, the ministry of statistics and program implementation has the responsibility of measuring inflation. It can occur due to a variety of reasons like excess money circulating in the economy that reduces the purchasing power of the money, high demand and low supply or the supply-side constraints that cannot cater to the present level of demand. There are many types of inflations depending on the reason and the effect. The one that we experienced most recently is called stagflation. It is a condition with no economic growth, relatively high unemployment along with high inflation.

Inflation decreases the purchasing power of the currency. This translates to a higher cost of living further pulling down the economic growth of the country. Like everything else inflation also affects people differently. It is profitable for borrowers because they own an asset that was bought from the borrowed money. On the other hand, inflation is bad for those who kept cash or liquidity since the money that they own now has less value than before.

Interestingly, a little inflation is good for the economy because it improves expenditure. In simple words, a small amount of inflation will prevent people from saving money. Instead of increasing the bank balance, the focus will shift on investment and this will bring economic growth to the country.

We are living in unprecedented times. Indiaโ€™s story of inflation is the same as other economies. The pandemic has disrupted supply and demand. Many external factors have influenced the economy. Crude oil price, for example, is determined by complex metrics of international economics which include import and export of the commodity amongst other things. Despite bumper production in the primary sector or agricultural sector, there were logistical issues that ensued during the pandemic. Customers were risk-averse and tried to save money by cutting down the investment. The demand for goods became low. There were incentives by the government and the Reserve Bank of India, the central bank, to improve the demand. These included decreasing the repo rate to make interest rates more lucrative to the people. Till now nothing seems to work since inflationary pressures persist.

To keep a check over inflation, the government tried to set a target in the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management Act, 2003. Albeit, the experts suggest that right now inflation should not be a matter of concern for the government. The focus should be on public investment so that the economic engine that went cold can run again. This means that price might remain high for some time. The government will try to compensate for the inflationary pressure through schemes and subsidies to give to impetus demand and this is the only silver lining that we can rely on during these tumultuous times while waiting for normalcy to get restored.

GLOBALIZATION AND IT’S IMPACT ON THE INDIAN SOCIETY

Globalization is the vast concept, in general sense it means integration of economies and societies through cross country flow of information, ideas, technologies, goods, services, capital, finance and people. The basic game of globalization is to generate some sort of connectivity among the human life residing in different parts of the world. It is not solely inclined by the economic forces but the development of information and communication technologies also intensified the scope and speed of interaction between the people all over the world. Therefore, it can be said that globalization is multi-dimensional concept.

GLOBALIZATION IN INDIA

India got independence in year 1947, during those times India was considered as one of the poorest countries in the world. The British colonial role has destroyed diverse and self-sufficient agrarian economy of India. The leaders and planners at that time, headed by prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru preferred a mixed economy system to develop the Indian economy. But the idea was not a favorable one in an economy that was as poor as India. Corresponding working of the public and private sector was not much profitable for the nation as a number of private sectors were growing and the public sector became sick. Most of the population in India was poor and the people who but not able to afford the private expenses and the public facilities were not much developed have to face a dilemma.

The poverty rate started growing at an alarming rate there was an acute balance of payment prices and load domestic savings. There was no enough capital left for investment also the shortage of resources leads to difficulty in provision of educational and health facilities to the largely growing population. Moreover, the Indian economy was characterized by a higher rate of inflation and the balance of payment efficient that was around $10 billion.

Imaduddin Educare | New Economics Policy 1991: Business Economics

Observing the situation getting worst, PV Narsimha Rao government choose to introduce the policy of Liberation & Privatization and Dr. Manmohan Singh, the then finance minister played an instrumental role in the adaptation of this new economic policy of 1991. Along with above two stated policies, the policy of globalization was also adopted by India. However, the basic goal of the policy enactment was to allow India take foreign exchange loans from World Bank as the foreign exchange reserves were left for mere three weeks of outflow. The basic aim of the New Economic Policy was to rectify the financial health of the nation. However, there was some unpredictable impacts of globalization upon the country; it helped the nation to fulfil its need of foreign exchange but also cause some permanent damages to the Indian economy and system.

IMPACT OF GLOBALISATION ON INDIAN ECONOMY

Indian economy was tremendously benefited from the its policy of globalization. Since many years, the countries were trading and communicating with one another but the process has experienced a boost in the last two decades. Opening of Special Economic Zones in India and availability of new opportunities the foreign companies quite effective to develop the technological and economic sector of the nation. The foreign companies bought in highly advanced technologies with them and this assisted the Indian industries to become more technological advance. It also created consumer wellbeing; as now the consumer had a variety of products and brands to choose from.

Globalization has intensified the interdependence and competition between economies in the world market and at the same time export and import of various types of good has increased the flow of investment in one economy that help in the reconstruction of another. Therefore, globalization has established a sort of interrelatedness among the economies. As a result of this, there has been a change in the determination of the domestic economy. Now, Domestic economic development are not determined entirely by economic policies and economic conditions; rather they are influenced by both the domestic and international policies and economic conditions.

Every coin has two faces so does every policy. Apart from these positive aspects there was a negative development also attributed to globalization. Due to the interdependence among the economy is has become difficult for Indian government to insulate its economy from the world economy. The Indian people started preferring the global brands over the domestic products. The domestic trade and industries have been adversely affected because the global brands were considered cheap, more fashionable and easily available. To ensure its survival the Indian industry has to transform itself into capital intensive market from labor intensive which means adopting technological methods of production and resulted in higher rate of unemployment in India.

Along with its impact over the economy of the country the globalization has also certainly impacted the culture and tradition of the nation. It brought some improvements to the economic conditions of the people, increased the recognition of human rights, and also helped in improving the interaction among the people from different countries. People from different countries started sharing and adopting each otherโ€™s culture. Indian society was highly influenced by Western culture which can be highlighted through the division of joint family into nuclear or small families; the old and handicapped persons in the families are being forced to support themselves without any support from their children. The change can be noticed even in the daily habits of eating, dressing, talking etc.

Globalization has helped the women to established an identity of their own by not limiting their role to a homemaker and allowing them to work for their dreams. Women are now working in all sectors of Indian economy and enjoying the fruits of empowerment process brought by the globalization. But, at the same time their security has become a major issue in the changing scenario. They have been facing the double burden of family as well as job because the role of men has not changed much and has remained limited to their jobs.

Thus, it cannot be said that the impact of globalization was totally positive or negative it was a mixture of both. However, the point of concern is when an overwhelming impact of globalization can be observed on the Indian culture every educated Indian seems to believe that nothing in India is to be approved unless recognized and recommended by an appropriate authority. These activities and ideologies should be checked in order to preserve the rich cultural diversity of India and to ensure the fulfilment of the principle of self-sufficiency and self-identity of India.

The variant, called โ€œDelta Plusโ€ in India, was first reported in a Public Health England bulletin on June 11.

It is a sub-lineage of the Delta variant first detected in India and has obtained the spike protein mutation called K417N which is also found in the Beta variant first identified in South Africa.

Some scientists concern that the mutation, joined with current features of the Delta variant, could make it more infectious.

โ€œThe mutation K417N has been of interest as it is present in the Beta variant (B.1.351 lineage), which was reported to have immune evasion property,โ€ Indiaโ€™s health ministry said in a declaration.

Shahid Jameel, a top Indian virologist, said the K417N was known to decrease the efficiency of a mixture of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies.

Where all has it been found?

As of June 16, at least 197 cases had been detected in 11 countries โ€” Britain (36), Canada (1), India (8), Japan (15), Nepal (3), Poland (9), Portugal (22), Russia (1), Switzerland (18), Turkey (1), the United States (83).

India said, on Wednesday, around 40 cases of the variant have been detected in the states of Maharashtra, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh, with โ€œno significant increase in prevalenceโ€. The initial case in India is from a sample taken on April 5.

Britain said its first 5 cases were sequenced on April 26 and they were contacts of individuals who had travelled from, or transited through, Nepal and Turkey.

No deaths were accounted among the UK and Indian cases.

What are the worries?

Research is ongoing in India and world-wide to test the efficiency of vaccines against this alteration.

โ€œWHO is tracking this variant as part of the Delta variant, as we are doing for other Variants of Concern with additional mutations,โ€ the World Health Organization (WHO) said in a declaration sent to Reuters.

โ€œFor the moment, this variant does not seem to be common, currently accounting for only a small fraction of the Delta sequencesโ€ฆDelta and other circulating Variants of Concern remain a higher public health risk as they have demonstrated increases in transmission,โ€ it said.

But Indiaโ€™s health ministry cautioned that regions where it has been found โ€œmay need to enhance their public health response by focusing on surveillance, enhanced testing, quick contact-tracing and priority vaccination.โ€

There are doubts that Delta Plus would impose another wave of diseases on India after it emerged from the worldโ€™s worst surge in cases only recently.

The mutation itself may not lead to a third wave in India โ€” that also depends on Covid-appropriate behaviour, but it could be one of the reasons,โ€ said Tarun Bhatnagar, a scientist with the state-run Indian Council for Medical Research.

Illitracy in India

Illiteracy in India is a massive problem in India especially when it comes to facing crisis like the Covid 19 . This crisis has nearly disturbed the lives of a majority of the world population . A group of seen applying cow dung on their body and when they were asked they told the news reporter that cow dung will help them face the crisis . And what happened the next dayย  is not very happening as one of them died due to Covid 19 . So education plays an important role in facing such crisis . But the problem is levels of education can not be increased over night . Science play an important role in this case .

Big Bang Theory

The Big-Bang Theory is a theory that seeks to explain how the universe appeared. This is the most widely accepted theory of the origin of the universe ever put forward. According to the Big Bang theory the universe began as a spark of very high density. It has expanded over time and reached its present state.

Basics:

The Big Bang theory is based on two major discoveries made in the early 20th century. One is Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity. The other is the cosmological principle.

The general theory of relativity states that the gravitational pull between objects in space is a state of space and time distorted by the mass of the object. Cosmic theory is based on the fact that objects in the universe are uniformly distributed outside.

History and how it was discovered:

There are many theories that precede this Big Bang theory. In 1912, Vesuvius Melvin Sullivan discovered by Doppler effect that all single moons move away from Earth. But he only found this condition in the nipples inside our Milky Way.

Ten years later, In 1922, Alexander Friedman, a Russian astronomer and accountant, developed the Friedmann equation from Albert Einstein’s theory of general relativity. He pointed out that the universe as a whole would not have expanded with that and a fixed cosmic principle.

After that, In 1924 Edward Hubble said that all galaxies were moving away from each other. In 1927, Giorgio Lemtre, a Belgian physicist and Roman Catholic priest, equated Freud’s equationย  to find infrared deflections between galaxies and asteroids.

When examining the movements between galaxies he thought that the deviation marks would vary for each galaxy. That is, he predicted that some galaxies would approach the Milky Way and some galaxies would leave the Milky Way when predicted from the Milky Way.

When predicting the movement of galaxies, the object will be violet as it approaches the Milky Way galaxy and red as it moves away. But contrary to what he expected, when predicting all the galaxies, all the galaxies turned red on the instrument. In 1931, Georges Limetre put forward the salt theory that the universe is salting.

Thus if every superpower in the universe deviated from the other superpower there would have been a time when everything was together. All of those objects would have reached the shape of a tiny egg. He concluded that it was the Adi cosmic egg and that it was the cause of the sudden explosion.

Big Bang:

According to the Big Bang theory, all objects in space were 12 to 14 billion years ago a very dense, small, flame. It is estimated that all the objects in the universe as we know them today are contained within a few millimeters. This flame is starting to spread very fast for some reason unknown today. This is called the Big-Bang.

Scientists say that this expansion is happening many times over every second. They say that the warming gases may have formed intermittent galaxies as they expanded.

Edit after start:

The following sequence indicates when atoms and other cosmic objects originated from the beginning of the Big Bang.

  • The moment it exploded, time and space appeared.
  • Gravity appeared in the second second.
  • Later atoms of quarks appeared.
  • Protons and neutrons appeared as atoms collided with each other.
  • Three minutes later the protons and neutrons dissipated their heat, forming only two atoms of hydrogen, helium and lithium.
  • Five million years later, electrons were trapped by atoms. Thus hydrogen, helium and lithium atoms were formed, respectively.
  • Thirty billion years later, galaxies and galaxies formed.
  • The solar system and the planets in it appeared only after all these events had taken place. The present is approximately five billion years from the time of their origin.

Early conditions for the Big Bang:

The physicist Dean Irkils says that numbers and mathematics are related to them. Cavernous oscillations or other physical laws that occurred at the beginning of the Big Bang may have created the conditions for the appearance of mass.

Edit the final story of the sari:

Before the discovery of black energy, astronomers had two perspectives on the future of the planet. If the density of the sari is greater than the physical density of the sari, then the sari will begin to disintegrate once it reaches its maximum shape. This event is called a major contraction.

Religious and philosophical explanations:

The Big Bang theory, which explains the origin of the saga, plays a significant role in religion and philosophy. Thus, it is an active part of the discussion of the relationship between religion and science. They therefore refer to the Big Bang in their scriptures.

THE FLYING SIKH

Milkha Singh also known asย The Flying Sikh was born on October 17, 1935,ย Lyallpurย [now Faisalabad], Pakistan. He died on June 18, 2021,ย Chandigarh, India. He was Indianย track-and-fieldย athlete who became the first Indian male to achieve the final of an Olympicย athleticsย event when he positioned fourth in the 400-metre race at theย 1960 Olympic Games in Rome.

Independent Indiaโ€™s first individual sports star, Milkha Singh conquered Indian track and field for over a decade with his haste and spirit, creating various records and winning multiple medals in his career.

Representing India at the 1956 Olympics in Melbourne, the 1960 Olympics in Rome and the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo, Milkha Singh continued to be the greatest Olympian from India for decades with his remarkable displays.

Orphaned during the partition of India, Singh shifted to India from Pakistan in 1947. He earned living by working in a roadside restaurant before joining the Indian army. It was in the army that Singh recognized his capabilities as a sprinter. After winning the national trials in the 200-metre and 400-metre sprints, he was rejected during the preliminary heats for those events at the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne.

At the 1958 Asian Games, Singh won the 200-metre and 400-metre races. Afterwards, that year he won the 400-metre gold at the Commonwealth Games, which was Indiaโ€™s first athletics gold in the history of the Games. He closely lost the bronze medal in the 400 metres at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome, missing out on third place in a photo finish. Singh preserved his 400-metre gold at the 1962 Asian Games and also took another gold as part of Indiaโ€™s 4 ร— 400-metre relay team. He made a final Olympic appearance at the 1964 Tokyo Games as part of the national 4 ร— 400 team that botched to advance past preliminary heats.

Singh was awarded the Padma Shri (one of Indiaโ€™s highest civilian honours) in 1959. After his retirement he performed the role of director of sports in Punjab. Singhโ€™s autobiography, The Race of My Life (cowritten with his daughter Sonia Sanwalka), was published in 2013.

Milkha Singh, a track star who enthused generations of Indians with his accomplishments on an international stage and a convincing life story in which he once raced trains for entertainment and literally had to run for his life as his father, beaten by crowd, lay dying, died on June 18 in Chandigarh. His age was uncertain, but he was either in his late 80s or his early 90s. Singh overcame great hardship to become a sports hero

The Flying Sikh died on June 18, 2021 inย Chandigarh, India. His family said the reason was problems of Covid-19. He had tested positive for the coronavirus on May 20 and had been in and out of the hospital for a month. His death came just five days after that of Nirmal Kaur, his wife of 58 years and a sportswoman in her own right. He was cremated with state honors, and the state of Punjab observed a day of grief.

Archaeology

Archeology is the field of science that excavates material culture and analyses the workings of archaic mantras. Such semantic cultural archeological documents include architecture, archeology, archaeological remains, human remains, and ecological remains. Archeology can therefore be considered a field of sociology and a field of humanities. Seen in Europe as a private field and a branch field of other fields; In North America, archeology is considered a branch of anthropology.

Archaeologists are studying the prehistoric history of Ulomkivi in โ€‹โ€‹East Africa from the discovery of stone tools as early as 3.3 million years BC to the most recent decades.

The goals of archeology vary, and so do the arguments regarding its purposes and responsibilities. Some goals are to document and explain the origin and development of prehistoric and prehistoric human civilization; Understanding cultural history; Chronology of cultural algorithm development; Includes research on human behavior.

Archaeologists are also focusing on the methods used in their field. They are also interested in research on the theoretical and philosophical foundations of their questions about the past.

The discovery, excavation, classification, analysis and preservation of new archaeological sites are various important stages of archaeological methods. These aside, there is a great deal of multidisciplinary research in archeology. To this end, it relies on the fields of history, art history, classical literature, geography, geology, physics, information science, chemistry, statistics, archeology, archeology, and archeology.

History of archeology:

The Italian historian Flavio Fiondo developed a systematic chronology using the archeology of ancient Rome. That is why he is hailed as the inventor of archeology. Syriaco Piccoli, an Italian merchant, wrote six series of books, Commandaria, in the fourteenth century on archeology in the eastern Middle Sea. That is why he is revered as the father of archeology.

The industry then flourished in European countries in the late nineteenth century. Attempts by Europeans to discover the land of Troy, which is considered extinct, and Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution are considered to be key factors in the industry’s growth.

Academic subdivisions:

Below are some of the selected subdivisions that vary by time or region.

  • African Archeology
  • ย Archeology of Native Americans
  • ย Australian Archeology
  • ย European Archeology
  • ย Industrial archeology focuses on the preservation of objects that are symbols of the Industrial Revolution.
  • ย Topography – The field of studying the topography of the area under excavation in geological systems, both then and now.
  • ย Maritime Archeology Focus on the discovery of ancient archaeological remains submerged in the sea, such as the maritime trade of the civilization, the construction of the harbor, and the life of the marine people. (E.g. although there are many state or national archeological museums in India, only the Archaeological Museum, Poompuhar can be said to document marine archeological objects.
  • ย Middle Eastern Archeology
  • ย Medieval archeology is the study of European archeology after the Romans, up to the sixteenth century.
  • Modern archeology

Chronological methods:

Archeology is a field in post-medieval Europe dating back to the sixteenth century. Archaeological excavations are chronologically based on the nature of the objects found in various ways. They are classified into three categories: independent chronology, relative chronology, and equivalent chronology, which include various methods.

  • ย Independent chronological methods
  • ย Radioactive chronology
  • ย Periodic metrology
  • ย Thermocouple chronology
  • ย Optical chronology
  • ย Numismatics
  • ย Potassium-argon chronology
  • ย Lead Erosion Chronology
  • ย Amino acid chronology
  • ย A method of pouring water over an archaeological glacial lump
  • ย Pro-chronological methods

The most well-known of the dependent chronological methods is sandstone. According to this method the period of the excavated archeology is predicted depending on how deep the material found in the excavation is.

Equivalent chronological methods:

Archeology – Earth’s poles change over a period of time. Archaeological excavations have uncovered the axis of the rock at that time in relation to the location of the axis of the rock, which is now used to estimate the period of the archeology with the angular differences.

Volcanic ash chronology – a method of predicting the age of an archaeologist by finding the fragments of a volcanic lava found on the bridge of an archaeological site and identifying the volcanic eruption of the volcano.

Biomass Oral Elevation Soil Survey – Chronology of Archaeological Archaeological Sites. (E.g. the material in the Milky Way galaxy is estimated to be 1,15,000 years old.

International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking

Byย resolution 42/112ย of 7 December 1987, the General Assembly decided to observe 26 June as the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking as an expression of its determination to strengthen action and cooperation to achieve the goal of an international society free of drug abuse.

Supported each year by individuals, communities, and various organizations all over the world, this global observance aims to raise awareness of the major problem that illicit drugs represent to society.

Share Facts On Drugs, Save Lives

Share Facts On Drugs, Save Lives The theme of the 2021ย International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Traffickingย aims at combating misinformation and promotes sharing the facts on drugs โ€” from health risks and solutions to tackle the world drug problem, to evidence-based prevention, treatment, and care.

The campaign highlights key statistics and data drawn from UNODCโ€™s yearly World Drug Report. Thus, providing facts and practical solutions to the current world drug problem, to attain a vision of health for all based on science.

COVID-19 has brought unprecedented public awareness on health, protective measures for staying healthy, and most importantly, and on protecting each other. A growing sense of global community and solidarity continues to emerge, as does the need to ensure health care for all.

World Drug Day is a day to share research findings, evidence-based data and life-saving facts, to continue tapping into a shared spirit of solidarity. The campaign invites everyone to do their part, by taking a firm stance against misinformation and unreliable sources; while committing to sharing only the real science-backed data on drugs and save lives.

World Drug Reportย โ€” 2021

Consisting of five separate booklets, theย World Drug Reportย 2021 provides an in-depth analysis of the global drug markets and paints a comprehensive picture of the measurable effects and potential impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the world drug problem. The report is aimed not only at fostering greater international cooperation to counter the impact of the world drug problem on health, governance and security, but also, with its special focus on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, at assisting Member States in anticipating and addressing challenges that may arise in the near future.

Theย World Drug Reportย provides a global overview of the supply and demand of opiates, cocaine, cannabis, amphetamine-type stimulants and new psychoactive substances (NPS), as well as their impact on health. It highlights, through improved research and more precise data, that the adverse health consequences of drug use are more widespread than previously thought.

A crowd of women sitting and laughing

International days and weeksย are occasions to educate the public on issues of concern, to mobilize political will and resources to address global problems, and to celebrate and reinforce achievements of humanity. The existence of international days predates the establishment of the United Nations, but the UN has embraced them as a powerful advocacy tool. We also markย otherย UN observances.

Dyslexia

Dyslexia is a language-related disability. The word dyslexia comes from the Greek language. This means vague talk. Dyslexia is an illiterate condition that involves writing, errors, and illiteracy. It is found to be distinct and unique from other non-neurological disorders such as blindness, deafness or inability to read adequately.

Although many definitions have been given for the level of inability to understand and read, there is no consensus. Numerous reading disabilities that arise for a variety of reasons appear to be a manifestation of suffering and the inability to understand comprehension is not the only disability but encompasses many disabilities.

Most of the existing comprehension and illiteracy studies focus on the alphabetical writing system, especially in European languages. However, these studies are now more common among Hebrew and Chinese speakers.

It is unacceptable that the inability to read comprehension is a cognitive deficit, even if it is considered to be the result of a neurological disorder. Some of the symptoms of illiteracy include:

  • Confusion about front / back, right / left, etc.
  • Perceived difficulties in learning the alphabet.
  • Difficulties in memorizing words and recognizing objects.
  • Difficulties in identifying, arranging and counting syllables in phonetic words.
  • Difficulties in hearing and interpreting different phonetics of words.
  • Difficulties in recognizing different phonetic variants of words.
  • Difficulties in learning the sounds of letters.
  • Difficulties in associating words with their proper meaning.
  • Difficulties in adhering to time and conforming to the canon of time.
  • Confusion in the compilation of word.
  • Some children are seen as introverted, shy, and quarrelsome with others for not being able to perceive the social elements around them for fear of losing their speech.
  • Practical disciplinary deficiencies.

These factors have been identified by examining experimental samples from children with disabilities. These problems can be seen as a co-occurrence in people suffering from illiteracy and difficulty in writing.

Formal diagnosis of incompetence can be made by a neurologist, neuropsychologist, pediatrician or educational psychologist. The assessment also includes a general knowledge test to determine self-description of learning strengths and learning weaknesses.

Other disorders related to classification and illiteracy:

Dyslexia is believed to include a number of neurological disorders that affect written language reading. The following are some of the conditions that can cause or depend on dyslexia, which is not difficult to read:

  • Auditory processing disorder is a disorder of the auditory cortex. Auditory processing disorder is a form of attention deficit disorder. This can cause problems with auditory memory and alignment. Many sufferers of deafness develop their own cognitive code to address this deficiency, including hearing loss disorders involving hearing loss.
  • Scotopic Sensitivity Syndrome or Iron Syndrome, also known as Dark Sensitivity Syndrome, refers to different light sensitivities that affect vision.
  • Developmental motor dysfunction or developmental dyspraxia is a disorder characterized by normal functioning of the body, such as dysfunction of the pituitary glands, muscular dystrophy, speech impairment, short-term memory impairment, and disorder.
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
  • Psychological talk.
  • Dysgraphia is more pronounced when writing or typing, and sometimes affects eye-hand coordination in actions related to orientation or sequencing, such as tying a knot or repeating an action.
  • Dyscalculia refers to difficulties in learning basic mathematics or learning multiple numerical skills.
  • Specific Language Impairment is a developmental language disorder that affects the ability to speak and hear. SLI, also known as Specific Language Impairment, has nothing to do with other developmental disorders, deafness or brain damage
  • Confused speech is a speech disorder that affects the speed and rhythm of speech and can lead to impaired speech.
  • People with learning disabilities can learn to read and write with the help of proper teaching, even if there is no treatment that can cure the condition.

For alphabetical writing systems, the basic goal is to increase awareness of the interplay of chord and sound and to relate them to reading and spelling. It has been found that training in visual language and phonological phenomena yields long-term benefits, rather than mere verbal training. The most appropriate approach is to determine the neurological factor that causes the symptom of the inability to understand and read.

Education law:

There are various bills and various special education support structures in different countries regarding the mechanism of special education that deals with the administration of comprehension disability.

Third wave starts?delta plus virus

India is beginning to reopen after a second wave of Covid-19 infections devastated the country in April and May. But now experts warn that a third wave could strike in the next few months.

Courts have questioned state governmentsย over their preparedness,ย some experts have warned that a third wave could hit within 12-16 weeks, and others are worried that new variants,ย including the much-talked about Delta plus, could weaken existing vaccines.

Delta plus is related to the Delta, an existing variant of concern first identified in India last year that was responsible for the deadly second wave.

But how realistic are these fears? Subsequent waves are expected, but their severity and spread depend on a number of factors

Covid safety protocols

The number of average daily cases in India has fallen to just over 50,000 in recent days, down from the peaks of 400,000 in May. The drop in numbers has largely been attributed to strict lockdowns by states.

Crowding in markets, election rallies andย religious festivalsย was blamed for the second wave.ย Bad policy decisions, poor surveillance and ignoring early warningsย were some of the other reasons. If the same mistakes are repeated, experts say, that could hasten the third wave.

Dr Chandrakant Lahariya, a public policy and health systems expert, says India is once again at a delicate phase and how people behave will largely determine the fate of the next wave.

Is India’s Delta plus a worrying Covid-19 variant?

What do we know about India’s new vaccines?

He says it’s important that states reopen the economy gradually. “If we rush into reopening and people don’t follow Covid safety protocols, we only help the virus spread faster.”

He advises that safety protocols need to be implemented at “a localised level” – if specific markets and businesses don’t follow rules, they should be penalised.

Can new variants pose a threat?

The Delta variant largely drove the second wave. Experts believe that more such variants could appear in future if the virus is allowed to run through the still susceptible population.

The Indian government has announced that a new variant, named Delta plus, is a “variant of concern”.ย But there is not enough data at the momentย to say that it could cause a third wave. However experts say the scenario “could change within weeks”

Epidemiologist Dr Lalit Kant says the threat of new variants derailing progress will exist as long as the virus keeps spreading. “We need to further scale up our sequencing efforts to identify dangerous variants early and apply containment measures,” he adds.

India had sequenced 30,000 samples until June, but experts believe more needs to be done. Dr A Fathahudeen, who has treated thousands of Covid patients, says current vaccines appear to work on known variants – but there is no guarantee that they will work on new variants. There have also been instances of people becoming ill despite having been vaccinated – especially after getting the first dose.

India is a Covid disaster – it didn’t have to be

The successes and failures of India’s vaccine drive

He believes that another wave is inevitable but “we can delay and contain it with appropriate measures like sequencing – to keep an eye on mutations – and strictly enforcing safety protocols”.

“If we don’t do all this, then the third wave could sneak up on us faster than we can imagine.”

Are vaccine coverage and past infections enough?

The outcome of the third wave also depends on what level of immunity India’s population has – both from prior infections and from vaccines. The country averaged 3.25 million doses every day between 9 and 22 June. But it needs to reach 8.5-9 million doses daily to meet its target of vaccinating the eligible population by the end of 2021.

Just over 4% of Indians are fully vaccinated and about 18% have received one dose so far.

Dr Lahariya says if the speed doesn’t pick up, millions will still be vulnerable, although immunity from past Covid infections can protect people.

But it’s hard to establish the number of Indians who were infected and may have developed natural antibodies to fight the virus. Many in cities, towns and villages struggled to get tested and have no way of knowing if they had the infection. Even the number of Covid deaths has been under-reported. Dr Lahariya says that the number of people who have immunity from a prior infection could be between 55-60%.

Gautam Menon, a mathematical modeller and professor of physics and biology at Ashoka University, puts the number even higher at about 60-70%. He is confident that India will not have to endure the intensity of the second wave again.

But he cautions against complacency.

“Even if a substantial fraction of our population has already been infected, there is still about 20%-30% who have not, including those who are elderly or immunocompromised. So we should focus on surveillance to ensure that any rise in cases is detected fast,” he says.

But experts unanimously agree that people cannot take Covid lightly as India still has a sizeable susceptible population and the threat of potentially deadlier variants still looms. “So a third wave is inevitable, it’s up to us to delay it and limit its impact,” Dr Fathahudeen says.

“Just spare a thought for healthcare workers who have been in this battle for more than a year. We are tired, please don’t let your guard down. I am not sure if we can endure a third wave,” he adds.

UFO Report: No Sign Of Aliens, But 143 Mystery Objects Defy Explanation

ย U.S. government reportย on UFOs said Friday it found no evidence of aliens, but acknowledged 143 reports of “unidentified aerial phenomena” since 2004 that could not be explained.

The report was released by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence with substantial input from the military. The study is part of the most significant public effort so far to deal with decades of speculation, rumor and unhinged conspiracy theories about UFOs.

Some of the most intriguing cases come from Navy pilots who reported seeing UFOs โ€” and filming some of them โ€” off the East Coast of the U.S. over a period of months in 2014 and 2015.

The pilots, including some who have spoken publicly, say the mystery objects moved with exceptional speed, agility and acceleration that they had never seen before. And in some incidents, the pilots claimed the objects went underwater.

The report was mandated by Congress and points to an increased willingness of government officials to discuss UFOs without fear of open ridicule.

Sen. Marco Rubio, the Florida Republican, pushed for the study and said in a statement, “This report is an important first step in cataloging these incidents, but it is just a first step. The Defense Department and intelligence community have a lot of work to do before we can actually understand whether these aerial threats present a serious national security concern.”

A recent rise in sightings

Many of the unexplained sights come from the past couple years as the Air Force and the Navy have put in place formal procedures for reporting such incidents.

For starters, the government is using the term “unusual aerial phenomena” to avoid referring to UFOs and the stigma that has often gone with talking about them.

Still, the report noted that, “The limited amount of high-quality reporting on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) hampers our ability to draw firm conclusions.”

While the report could not provide many answers, it did offer a range of possibilities.

It said the UFOs, or UAPs, could be part of a secret U.S. government or military project, but did not cite any such cases.

In addition, they could be part of a clandestine program in another country with advanced aerial capabilities, like Russia or China, though the report offered no such proof this was the case.

In some incidents the UFOs showed “unusual flight characteristics. These observations could be the result of sensor errors, spoofing, or observer misperception and require additional rigorous analysis,” the report added.

The main contents of the report were widely leaked to the media earlier this month, and few minds are likely to be changed.

For UFO skeptics, the report will probably reinforce their doubts that aliens are periodically whizzing past but not bothering to send a clear message.

For UFO enthusiasts, the report’s acknowledgement of so many unexplained objects is likely to generate calls for more resources to study the issue.

U.S. intelligence agencies and military wereย required to produce this reportย after funding was included in a hugeย spending billย approved by Congress late last year that focused mostly on COVID relief.

Former President Donald Trumpย signed the billย on Dec. 27, which then gave the Office of the Director of National Intelligence 180 days to produce the report and send it to Congress.

How it began

As NPR’s Bill Chappell notedย earlier this month, the real starting point for UFO speculation, and possible government involvement, dates to Roswell, New Mexico, in July 1947. According to UFO true believers, that’s when the U.S. Air Force allegedly found seized an alien spacecraft and its occupants.

In reality, an Air Force balloon intended for spying on the Soviet Union’s nuclear program crashed near Roswell during a test flight. The Air Force quickly cleaned up its the crash site and was unwilling to talk about the clandestine program, known as Project Mogul.

But that launched UFO conspiracies still going strong to this day.

The Air Force did start its own program to investigate UFO sightings in 1947, calledย Project BLUE BOOK. Over the next two decades, 12,618 sightings were reported. When the project ended in 1969, around 700 sightings were still categorized as “unidentified,” according to the National Archives.

Meanwhile, to this day the faithful, and the merely curious, make theย trek to Roswell.

In recent years, current and former government officials have been more willing to broach the topic.

Former President Barack Obama was asked about UFOs in May on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” on CBS.

“What is true, and I’m actually being serious here, is that there is footage and records of objects in the skies that we don’t know exactly what they are,” Obama said

E-LEARNING: Pros and Cons

E-learning system was one which wasn’t preferred by everybody before the pandemic. A live classroom session can never be the same as an online class session. In my opinion, classes through the internet are not generally interactive as much as a live class session because individuals might feel a little shy or uncomfortable with online interactions. There are chances for less clarity or more misunderstanding between a group or individuals. Nothing can actually beat the comfortability of attending live classroom sessions. But online classes are not that really bad!! Though they are used in rare cases, they are still quite helpful. They are technological improvements to help man save time, money and energy. In the present condition where people are battling bravely against the coronavirus pandemic, schools, college and other educational institutions are shut down. There was no time for these institutions to weigh the positives and negatives of e-learning because it became the necessary default. It is because of the improvements in technology that a child is not stopped from learning. The present generation is already accustomed to the use of technology and therefore it is a blessing in disguise because there would be no problem in the context of adjusting or learning or comfortability. E-leaning has provided a virtual place for individuals and mentors to interact with each other, learn and grow. They do have some pros and cons which are discussed below:

PROS OF E-LEARNING:

  • COST EFFECTIVE- E-learning is useful because it can be accessed from any desired destination. It is a least cost way to learn any course or subject. One just needs a computer or mobile phone and there is no need for any other materials or tools. It is the most affordable learning option without any difficulties.
  • FASTER DELIVERY- Generally, the organisation of real training sessions requires a lot of time and money. With the invention of e-learning, all these costs are not incurred due to virtual classrooms and sessions.
  • ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLY- Nowadays, there is a lot of campaigns and awareness programmes about pollution. E-learning has not only allowed people to learn from their comfortable place but also prevented pollution from their vehicles.
  • PERSONALIZED TRAINING EXPERIENCE- A person can attend their trainings at their own pace in e-learning because during real classes, the trainers might move on faster will trainees find it difficult to adapt to the pace.
  • INTERNET CONNECTION- Internet connection is 24*7 and a person can attend their course anytime, anywhere at their comfort.
  • ENCOURAGES INDEPENDENT LEARNING- An individual needn’t be dependent on somebody to learn something. A small pay for a training or course can help a person to learn independently without hassles.

CONS OF E-LEARNING:

  • TECHNOLOGY ACCESS- E-learners have to use technology in order to access the courses and trainings. The learner may neither have an experience or knowledge to use the technology nor an internet connection.
  • TECHNICAL GLITCHES- E-learning comes with a lot of technical glitches which are not very easy to rectify. It needs a technical knowledge to handle such a situation. Thus, in such situations the absence of such knowledge can provide problems to a person.
  • PEER INTERACTION- There would be less of peer interaction. There is anonymity between the fellow mates attending the same training. Except the trainer, we never know who is on the other side of the screen.

Marketing

ย

a creative marketer more artist or entrepreneur.Historically, the term โ€œmarketing creativeโ€ has been associated with the words and pictures that go into ad campaigns. But marketing, like other corporate functions, has become more complex and rigorous. Marketers need to master data analytics, customer experience, and product design. Do these changing roles require a new way of thinking about creativity in marketing.

To explore this question, we interviewedย senior marketing executivesย across dozens of top brands. We asked them for examples of creativity in marketing that go beyond ad campaigns andย deliver tangible value to the business. Their stories and the five wider trends they reflect help illustrateย what it means to be a creative marketer today.

Createย withย the customer, not justย forย the customer

Everyone likes to talk about being โ€œcustomer-centric.โ€ But too often this means taking better aim with targeted campaigns. Customers today are not just consumers; they are also creators, developing content and ideas โ€” and encountering challengesย  right along with you. Creativity in marketing requires workingย withย customers right from the start to weave their experiencesย with your efforts to expand your companyโ€™s reach. For example, Intuitโ€™s marketing team spends time with self-employed people in their homes and offices to immerse themselves in the customerโ€™s world. Through this research, they identified a pain point of tracking vehicle gas mileage. Based on these marketing insights, Intuit createdย a new feature within its app that combines location data, Google maps, and the userโ€™s calendar to automatically track mileage and simplify year-end tax planning.

Invest in the end-to-end experienceย

Every marketer believes the customer experience is important. But most marketers only focus on the parts of that experience under their direct control. Creative marketers take a broader view and pay attention to the entire customer experience from end to end. This includes the product, the buying process, the ability to provide support, and customer relationships over time. That takes time and resources โ€“ and it also requires bringing creative thinking to unfamiliar problems.

Kaiser Permanente believes that as health care becomes more consumer-oriented, the digital experience becomes a key differentiator. The marketing team instituted a welcome program to help improve the experience for new plan members. Members are guided on how to register for an online member portal, which provides access to email your doctor, refill prescriptions, make appointments, and more. The welcome program required coordination with many areas of the business.

Turn everyone into an advocate

In a fragmented media and social landscape, marketers can no longer reach their goals for awareness and reputation just through paid media and PR. People areย the new channel. The way to amplify impact is by inspiring creativity in others. Treat everyone as an extension of your marketing team: employees, partners, and even customers.Plum Organics gives each employee business cards with coupons attached. While shopping, all employees are encouraged to observe consumers shopping the baby category. When appropriate, they ask a few questions about shoppersโ€™ baby food preferences and share business cards with coupons for free products as a gesture of appreciation

Bring creativity to measurementย

The measurability of digital engagement meansย we can now know exactly whatโ€™s working and not working. This gives marketing an opportunity to measure and manage itself in new ways. In the past, marketing measured success by sticking to budgets and winning creative awards. Today, the ability to measure data and adjust strategies in real-time enables marketing to prove its value to the business in entirely new ways.Cisco has created a real-time, online dashboard where the entire marketing organization can look at performance. The leadership team conducts a weekly evaluation to assess, โ€œIs what weโ€™re doing working?โ€ This analysis can be done across different digital initiatives, geographies, channels, or even individual pieces of content. The result is an ability to quickly adjust and re-allocate resources.

Think like a startup

In the past, marketers needed to be effective managers, setting goals well in advance and then working within budget to achieve those goals. Today, creative marketers need to operate more like entrepreneurs, continuously adjusting to sustain โ€œproduct/market fit.โ€

The start-up Checkr represents a trend we are seeing more of in the Bay Area in particular. Marketers are adopting the business practices of entrepreneurs such asย lean startupย andย agile development. For its background check solution, Checkr wasnโ€™t getting the results it wanted from traditional sales and marketing tactics as it expanded into new market segments. They realized they had to think beyond marketing as promoting an existing product. Adopting an agile method of customer testing and rapid iteration, they worked with engineering to rethink the product and bring a โ€œminimum viable productโ€ to market for these new buyers. As a result of this integrated, agile approach, the company easily hit some early 2017 revenue targets with conversion rates that are four times what is traditionally seen in the industry.

Sight of Night Sky gone missing

In Night, millions of stars, beautiful clouds and shining moon will all be present. Even big cities and busy towns back then had an amazing view of night sky. But is that view visible now. Building lights dominate the star light. We were told that there are โ€˜nโ€™ number of stars so its impossible to finish counting but the cityโ€™s brightness make it difficult for stars to even be visible.

Presence of too much obtrusive and misdirected artificial light in the night environment causes light pollution. High Light pollution washes out starlight in night sky, affects health, disrupts eco-system and disturbs astronomical research. When the light is reflected upward the glow reduces darkness of the night sky. About 95% of stars that can be seen with naked eyes are now invisible.

Light Pollution components include

  • Glare: excessive brightness
  • Sky glow: night brightened up in inhabited area
  • Light trespass: light falling where it is not required
  • Clutter: bright excessive and confusing groupings of light sources.

Light Pollution unlike other pollution is reversible. Taking action against it is important to bring changes. Conserved use of light only when required and otherwise keeping it off should be followed. Spreading awareness to family and friends to follow these small steps could be the beginning of change to get the night sky view back.

The wheel and education

Consistently, a large number of words are expounded on the significance of education. In actuality, education is the most important thing that humankind can procure. Education, both formal and casual, has molded human advancement all through centuries. Besides, education is the sole establishment whereupon humanity’s future is assembled. Our quest for information is ceaseless and will proceed as long as the planet Earth endures.

“Thank a teacher on the off chance that you can understand this.” Although that is a platitude, it is valid. You wouldn’t have the option to peruse, compose, talk, think fundamentally, settle on taught choices, know directly from wrong, effectively convey, or handle how the world works if not for instruction at all levels. George Orwell broadly said, “If individuals can’t write well, they can’t think well, and if they can’t think well, others will do their thinkings for them.”

Education in ancient times

Education started to develop simultaneously as we did. We’ll investigate probably the most seasoned kinds of tutoring in this article. A portion of these, curiously, still exist today, however in a more advanced structure.

  1. Stones were first utilized by ancient people to build weapons and other valuable things. Caverns were utilized as abodes. Ancient people likewise engraved their recollections into cave dividers. They will likely show others a possibly extraordinary encounter, like a nearby contact with a savage creature.
  2. Hindu Vedas and Upanishads are a mother lode of antiquated science. They were passed down during the time to instruct the future. Each religion’s writings remember guidance for how to carry on with a decent life for the individuals who follow the confidence.
  3. Understudies in antiquated India boarded at a school. Gurukul was an instructive organization that showed students, normally guys, different fundamental abilities. Specialty of war, basics of exchange, showing system, medication, and different subjects are instances of lessons.

The wheel and education

It’s not possible for anyone to guarantee credit for finding or fostering the consistently present wheel. In any case, science and archeological proof recommend that unrefined wheels initially showed up roughly 9500BC. Maybe, it was 11,500 years prior, when people started to arise as the predominant species on the globe. Education was brought into the world as an immediate consequence of the wheel. People used to walk before the creation of the wheel.

Therefore, their insight was confined to what they had seen, heard, and experienced in a little geographic region. People had the option to head out longer distances because of the innovation of wheels. Accordingly, our progenitors started to become familiar with the spots encompassing their homes. Moreover, wheels started to have a significant impact in the production of early instruments, weapons, and utensils.

People turned out to be more inquisitive about their general surroundings because of the creation of wheels, which prompted the advancement of education as far as we might be concerned today. Maybe this is the reason the normal wheel is referenced in blessed books of every significant religion.

Importance of Education

Do you accept that going to class and chipping away at school projects is an exercise in futility? In the event that you do, you ought to assess your assertion since instruction is a significant part of a general public’s development and headway. Individuals who are instructed can make a significant commitment to their families and society in an assortment of ways, bringing about a steady and invigorating local area. What are the advantages of instruction to society? We should take a gander at a portion of the reasons.

  1. One of the advantages of education is that the instructive framework shows us how to get and foster basic and coherent reasoning and settle on autonomous choices. At the point when kids become grown-ups, they are confronted with a ton of testing issues โ€“ take care of your understudy loans, find a new line of work, purchase a vehicle and a house, accommodate your family, and so on.
  2. Education is significant on an individual level, yet additionally on a worldwide level, since it keeps up our globe secure and makes it a more tranquil climate. Education shows individuals the differentiation among good and bad, which can assist them with staying away from hazardous circumstances.
  3. Individuals with solid scholarly and educational accreditations are bound to get generously compensated positions. The more noteworthy their tutoring and accomplishments, the more open positions they will have. Individuals who were up poor yet went to class have a decent chance of transforming them and adding to a decrease in neediness rates in the public eye. Schooling helps monetary development since it is tied in with acquiring information and having the option to apply it reasonably to our daily routines while likewise improving the existences of others.
  4. In today’s society, having a good education is regarded a requirement for social acceptance. An education is thought to make you a productive member of society and can also make you feel like a contributor.
  5. There is an unmistakable connection among education and communication. A well-rounded education can assist you with discussing successfully with others. It likewise assists us with fortifying our correspondence capacities including discourse and non-verbal communication. A knowledgeable individual has the certainty to face or give a discourse before a huge crowd, or to hold a gathering or course.
  6. Being self-assured is an important aspect of achieving success in life. What better way to achieve that self-assurance than via education? Your educational background is frequently used to demonstrate your expertise, and it can give you the courage to express yourself and voice your thoughts.
  7. With regards to being inventive in any way, shape, or structure, the psyche can possibly arrive at its maximum capacity in the event that it is given the devices it needs to think past the container.

Conclusion

Education is a light emission in a miserable world. It’s anything but a wellspring of good faith for a glad presence. Each person on this planet has the privilege to training. It isn’t right to deny this advantage. Clueless youth are the most noticeably awful thing that can happen to mankind. Most importantly, governments in all nations should guarantee that instruction is broadly accessible.

Theory Of Computation

Theory of Computation or Theory of Automata is the core area of computer engineering and computer science, it is the branch that aims to attempt the deep understanding of computational processes by means of effectively solving the problems via mathematical models, techniques  and tools. This understanding is important for its applications that include various models of computation like algorithm, VLSI design and compiler, to the creation of intelligent technology, cognitive psychology, and philosophy.

In a more layman term we redescribe it as a part of theoretical Computer Science which is mainly concerned with the study of how problems can be solved using algorithms. Therefore, we can infer that it is very important to the study of logic and mainly logic within mathematics. These studies are used to understand the proper way an algorithm is meant to work, and to actually prove it works through analyzing the problems that may arise with the technique used and finding solutions to these problems that arise. It is quite a huge field of study but it is split up into three different parts i.e. automata theory, computability theory, and computational complexity theory.

In this specific field of study, computer scientists and engineers work using a model of computation. The most preferred model nowadays is the Turing machine model. This is because it is fairly simple and can be analyzed and used to prove results. The three sectors of theory of computation mentioned before deal with different studies; the Automata theory is the study of abstract mathematical systems or machines and also the computational problems that can be solved using these machines, these machines go by the name of automata. The Computability theory deals with the question of the extent to which a problem is solvable on a computer. Computational complexity theory takes under consideration whether a problem can be solved at all on a computer, as well as how efficiently that problem can be solved.

The two main aspects in this process are: Time complexity and Space complexity as studied by the beginners in the computer programming field. Time complexity is how many steps it takes to perform a computation or to solve a problem, and Space complexity is how much space or memory is needed to carry out that computation.

A model of computation and processing is the definition of the operations used in computation. It is used to calculate the complexity of an algorithm in execution time and memory space. Examples of models of computation other than Turing machines are finite state machines, combinatory logic, lambda calculus,ย  recursive functions, and abstract rewriting systems. In the field of runtime analysis of algorithms, we usually specify a computational model in terms of primitive operations permitted. The study of models of computation involves numerous other fields and each one has its own specifications and definition. Overall, theory of computation allows us to explore the nature of computations in a more deep state to understand new concepts and apply them to computer science.

do’s and don’t of helping someone with an addiction

Knowing someone who has an addiction is not uncommon, but knowing the best way to help a loved one with an addiction can be confusing and even scary. When someone has an addiction, it can affect every aspect of their lives as well as the lives of their loved ones. You will inevitably be concerned about your loved one, and it can be difficult to know what to do and what not to do, but it’s important to remember that recovery is a solution. Once you’ve noticed the signs of addiction like alcohol addiction or an opioid addiction, for example you’ll need to know how to talk to and treat them in a way that is positive and helpful. There are several ways to do this, some easy to practice and others that require a little more effort and understanding on your part. Here are few do’s and don’t for helping someone with an addiction:

DON’T:

  • SHAME OR CRITICIZE:Human nature sometimes forces us to shift the blame because it’s easier to understand a problem if we know its source. But the cause of addictions isn’t so black and white, so there’s never really just one thing to blame. Most importantly, the person with the addiction is not at fault for the disease. Avoid implying or outright stating that the person is to blame for their addiction. Shaming or criticizing a family member who is struggling with alcohol addiction is often counterproductive to their recovery. Instead, talk with positivity and encouragement, offering the idea of a future of successful long term recovery. Provide verbal and physical encouragement rather than lectures and nagging.
  • EXPECT IMMEDIATE CHANGE:One of the best ways is to be realistic in your expectations. Long term recovery is not a quick fix. It’s an ongoing process for the person that takes time, effort and continued support from professionals and family alike. Some treatments may work for some time and then need to be changed. if one treatment doesn’t work, it doesn’t mean all treatments will fail. It just means you’ll have to find the specific one that will work for the person.
  • ENABLE THEM:There can be a fine line between helping someone with an addiction and enabling them. Sometimes when we think we’re protecting the person from the consequences of their addiction, we are actually enabling them to continue with potentially destructive behavior. Studies show that people with addictions are more likely to proactively seek treatment when they are forced to face the consequences of their actions. So, if you want to know how to help someone with addiction, allow them to make mistakes without the promise of your rescue.
  • GIVE IN TO MANIPULATION:When a person with an addiction is unwilling to seek treatment, they will resort to whatever they need to do to continue feeding their addiction. This may include lying or trying to guilt the people who care for them. It’s important to establish boundaries and learn how to say no. It may be very difficult to not react negatively or to stick to your established rules, but it’s necessary for everyone involved.
  • VIOLATE THEIR PRIVACY:In taking care of yourself and attending therapy, you may be tempted to vent about the person with addiction. While you should be as honest about your feeling as possible when getting therapy, it’s important to respect their privacy. This is especially relevant when discussing someone with addiction with friends or family. Make sure the person is okay being talked about and having their struggles discussed. If you attend counseling with the person, make sure you don’t reveal what was said in session to others. If the person attends therapy or counselling on their own and don’t want to discuss what they talked about in session, respect that and don’t push them into detail.

DO’S:

  • HAVE COMPASSION:Addiction is a disease. Normally, we wouldn’t fault someone with a physical disease, like diabetes or cancer instead, we would likely be compassionate and willing to help them survive their illness. Addiction deserves the same compassion and understanding. Recognize that addiction isn’t a character flaw or a choice, but rather a disease. It’s also crucial to understand there may be external factors that encourage an addiction, like stress or mental illness. Addiction is often a coping mechanism for stress, providing temporary relief. The fleetingness of the relief may contribute to repeatedly seeking out potentially destructive habits that develop over time into an alcohol or opioid addiction.
  • EXPECT DIFFICULTIES:Rehabilitation can be difficult for the person. There are many reasons a person may be reluctant to seek treatment:
    • SHAME-They may feel like they will be looked down on or endanger their jobs and relationships by admitting to having an addiction.
    • STIGMA-Unfortunately, there is still a lot of stigma around diseases of the brain, like addiction and various mental illnesses, and your loved one may be unable or unwilling to expose themselves to it.
    • DENIAL-Someone with an addiction may not be willing or able to admit that they have an addiction at all, let alone consider treatment.
  • EDUCATE YOURSELF:Knowledge is power, and educating yourself on addiction and treatment is a benefit when learning how to help someone with an addiction. Educate yourself on the specific type of recovery that the person is in, so you can better understand that what he/she is going through and what sort of help is he/she is receiving. It’s also useful to learn about addiction in general. The more you know, the better you’ll understand what is going on and be able to better help the person.
  • SEEK COUNSELLING OR THERAPY:Addiction affects everyone, from the person in treatment to the person. It’s importance to ensure you’re well enough to manage the potential stress of helping someone dealing with addiction. Acknowledging that you may be in over your head and in need of professional help is normal and healthy. It’s also necessary for you to help your loved one to the best of your abilities.
  • TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF:Indulging in self care is not selfish, especially when you’re helping someone dealing with addiction. You cannot let the addiction of the person derail your own life. Continue with healthy activities, like hobbies and social outings, and take care to look after yourself. Therapy or counselling is part of that process, but indulging in activities that aren’t centered around the person is necessary. Determine what it is that you need to keep yourself well indulge in it.

Women empowerment

Women empowerment is the process of empowering women .it may be defined in several ways

Based on the assumption that women differ from men in their socialย  position and that those different consists of assymetric , unequal power relations between the gender women empowerment refer to the process of increasing women access to control over the strategic life choices that affect them

Women empowerment can be defined to promoting women sense of self worth , their ability to determine their own choice and their right to influence social change for themselves and others in western countries female empowerment is often associated with specific phases of the woman right movement in history .

WHAT IS ENGLISH LITERATURE?

โ€œYou just have to write stories right?โ€, โ€œWhat did you learn about Shakespeare?โ€, โ€œYouโ€™re a English Lit major, why did you make grammar mistakes?โ€ etcโ€ฆetcโ€ฆetc

These are only some of the questions that me, and many of the English Literature majors face daily. It isnโ€™t all about Shakespeare and stories. English literature maps the long path that English has taken to gain its present form in the whole world. Literature, of any language, is a result of social realities along the centuries.

A novel, for example, is a reflection of what the author has gone through and how the society was when the author was alive. It can also talk about what the author wanted us, as readers, to understand about him, and what he thought about the society. Literature is an art, all great leaders have acknowledged and even some great literary pieces have been penned by them.

Not only the history, literature also deals with the psychological aspects. The study of psychology and literature go hand in hand. The common misconception by the people is that literature is just about reading stories and analyzing it and learning grammar. That is where they are very wrong. We learn grammar in school. If you expect them to teach you grammar at college level, then you are in the wrong place.

Colleges expect students to be a keen lover of literature and somewhat already good in the language, in this case, English. Not to judge, but if the student is well versed in the rules of the language, the subject will be all the more exciting. We analyze Classic pieces, of course, but it is not only William Shakespeare. If fact, he is just a fragment of what literature consists of. Starting from Alexander Pope, to T. S. Elliot, there are many great writer, essayists, dramatists, poets who are, sadly, only known to literature students.

English language originated from England. How there is influence on the language as it moves from one colony to another is what feeds the interest of the students. England once used to be the country which ruled the world, even America. Yes, that small a country used to be a superpower once. It can all be traced through literature. The politics, the anarchy of Kings and Queens, the many wars and family feuds may be boring history to some, but that is what helped English be the superior language that it is.

I speak not only for English, but each literature, be it any language has its own significance and carries the mark of the region it hails from. Many choose literature as a last choice, but there are some who choose it as priority. And teaching isnโ€™t the only profession after literature. There are many business ventures and start-ups that need literature graduates.

Learning about languages need not to be mocked, because that is also a type of study which contains every other major like history, science, politics etc. a subject which is an all in one.

Energy

I stand in a cluttered room surrounded by the debris of electrical enthusiasm: wire peelings, snippets of copper, yellow connectors, insulated pliers. For me these are the tools of freedom. I have just installed a dozen solar panels on my roof, and they work. A meter shows that 1,285 watts of power are blasting straight from the sun into my system, charging my batteries, cooling my refrigerator, humming through my computer, liberating my life.

The euphoria of energy freedom is addictive. Don’t get me wrong; I love fossil fuels. I live on an island that happens to have no utilities, but otherwise my wife and I have a normal American life. We don’t want propane refrigerators, kerosene lamps, or composting toilets. We want a lot of electrical outlets and a cappuccino maker. But when I turn on those panels, wow!

Maybe that’s because for me, as for most Americans, one energy crisis or another has shadowed most of the past three decades. From the OPEC crunch of the 1970s to the skyrocketing cost of oil and gasoline today, the…

POPULATION GROWTH: BOON OR BANE

The whole world is going to a rapid increase in population growth. The sudden increase in the number of individuals in a community is termed as population explosion. Studying world history,ย  it can be said that in the past 200-300 years the world population has increased Tremendously. It has been predicted that the human population will increase by 1 billion in the next decade. The basic reasons for population explosion are accelerating birth rate, decreasing infant mortality and increasing life expectancy. There are different perspectives of looking atย  population explosion,ย  some people believe it to be anย  opportunity for the country, whereas, others look at the same concept negatively. It is not incorrect to say that population growth can be considered as a blessing until it creates some sort of pressure on the resources of the nation.ย

STATUS OF POPULATION IN INDIA

Learn Population Growth in India in 3 minutes.

India is the second most populated country in the world after China, as nearly a fifth of the world population resides in India. As per the census conducted in 2011,ย  the population of India is 1.21 crores with 62.37 crores males and 58.6 crores females. However, The geographical area of India is not as large as compared to the population residing in the country;ย  as a result the density of population in India is very high. The census shows that the density of population is 382 persons per square kilometer. Also,ย  a UN report of โ€œthe world population prospects 2017โ€ that has been revised by the department of economics and social affairs has predicted that India’s population will surpass the population of China by the year 2025.ย

CAUSES OF POPULATION EXPLOSION

4 Effects of Overpopulation and Their Possible Solutions - Owlcation

Population growth and explosion is a multidimensional concept. It is not caused by some specific factor,  rather,  different factors affect the population in different ways.  The Scholars suggest that the population explosion is highly impacted by various fields. The improvement in the Healthcare sector has also contributed to the increase in population. Various social,  economic and political factors have their impact upon the growth of population in India.

  • Social Causes: The highest literacy rate and lack of nationalism among the people has been the main reason for increasing birth rate. The Illiterate and conventional people are unaware of the consequences of high population growth and  they fail to adopt a proper family planning method. The religious orthodox that  compelled the people to believe in a certain manner also  contributes to the increasing population. The families who desire to have a son continue to reproduce even after having many daughters. The other reasons can be emphasis on agriculture, dominance of the joint family system and high composition of the rural population.
  • Economic Causes: The economic backwardness and Widespread poverty also causes higher population growth. The poor people believe that more children names more assets, however, They fail to analyse the maintenance cost of the children. Also,  the weak social security system for the children is a factor ignored.
  • Political Causes:  India is a democratic polity where the political leaders are seen as the Patron in chief of the community.  The representatives of people are selected on a majority of votes and the respective community leaders discourage population control measures. Even  if such measures are enforced in the country,  a complete application is not possible. The illiterate sector of the country will consider it as the infringement of their rights which will lead to riots or protests.
  • Geographical causes: It is one of the most importantly contributing factors to the increasing population. Around 50% of India’s population is directly or indirectly indulged in agriculture which is their substance in nature,  they consider more children to be helping hand in performing their agricultural operations. Also, The residential area for the people is comparatively very less then the growth of the population.

ADVANTAGES OF POPULATION GROWTH

  • Increasing population contributes to a larger working population, larger population provides a greater man power which can be utilised to increase the efficiency of different sections of the nation to move towards prosperity.
  •  Also India’s population is termed as young population with the average age of 25-26 years which can be considered as a productive age and this kind of production can help the economy to grow.
  • More population means more consumers for the industries so then dresses can focus upon increasing the production to meet the increasing demand which will consequently contribute to more demand of labour. Thus,  the cycle between increasing production and increasing labour force goes on.
  •  Population explosion also provides us with the people of multi talents in different fields such as Sports,  music,  arts, etc. Therefore, countries’ investment on such human resources can provide enough opportunities to the people to outshine.

DISADVANTAGES OF POPULATION GROWTH

  • Increase in population exerts pressure upon the natural resources of the nation. This can lead to an overall shortage of land,ย  employment,ย  capital,ย  and help services in the country.ย
  • ย a rapidly growing population has also affected the environment and resources negatively leading to their degradation.ย
  • Providing the basic amenities and ensuring a good standard of living for all the individual citizens of the country becomes a difficult task with the growth of population.ย
  • Large population requires more production of food even though the land under the agriculture remains static, increasing the production becomes a difficult task.ย  the population increase and the production of food are unlikely to correspond to each other.ย
  • ย increasing population causes employment issues in the country. India is already facing the problem of unemployment and such Rapid increase in the population will obviously contribute more to the issue.ย
  • This will ultimately cause a decrease in the per capita income, standard of living of the people and lead to economic failure.

CONCLUSION

The population explosion can be seen as an opportunity for some and as a disgrace for others. Therefore,  there is an immediate need to look upon the matter. The government needs to  formulate laws and regulations that control population growth. Any disagreement to these laws and regulations should be dealt with strictness.

Social saints and fiscal fiends

Pfizer has always prided itself on its commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR). The drugs giant talks loftily about โ€œembracing our responsibility to societyโ€. It insists that it does as much as it can to make sure that the worldโ€™s poor can gain access to its products. It is particularly proud of the work that it does with NGOs and โ€œother global health stakeholdersโ€ to strengthen and improve health-care systems. But this has not deterred it from seeking a gargantuan โ€œtax inversionโ€. The company intends, as part of a $160 billion takeover of Allergan, to shift its tax domicile from America to Ireland, where Allergan is domiciled, and where corporate-income taxes are considerably lower. Pfizerโ€™s shareholders no doubt rejoiced: in 2014 the company would have saved $1 billion of the $3.1 billion it paid to the US Treasury. But many Americans were outraged: Hillary Clinton, the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination, promised to impose an โ€œexit taxโ€ on companies that engage in such tactics.

A paper in the January issue of theย Accounting Reviewย suggests that Pfizer is far from unusual in trying to perform this pro-CSR, anti-tax straddle. David Guenther of the University of Oregonโ€™s Lundquist College of Business and his co-authors compared the effective tax rates paid by a sample of American firms between 2002 and 2011 with a measure of those companiesโ€™ CSR programmes compiled by MSCI, an index provider. It found that the companies which do the most CSR also make the most strenuous efforts to avoid paying taxโ€”and that those with a high CSR score also spend more lobbying on tax.

Time and Tide Wait For Non

Time values differently to the persons in different fields. It is very powerful and always wins. No one can defeat the time because it runs continuously without staying even for a single minute. No one can order it, store it or stop it. If we see back in the history, we see many great personalities who had followed the mantra of โ€˜time and tide wait for noneโ€™ and achieved theirย goalsย in life.

People who want to do something big in their life know well the value of time and do their tasks in timely manner at right time. Time is a precious gift from God given to us to achieve something good in life. If we achieve something good with time in the life, we are appreciated and remembered by the people for long time and sometimes for ages.

According to the Hindu theory of creation, it is called as the manifestation of God and named as โ€˜kalachakraโ€™ means the cycle of time. We cannot see the time visibly however can feel the ever running of time through the occurrence of day and night, seasonal changes in the year, etc. New buds bloom to be flowers and they die one day, and this process goes forever named as life cycle. Every living being has its own life cycle which runs through time.

It is very true that time is invisible; however, it is also true that time is most powerful. Time is a big ruler which rules each and every thing in this world. Tide occurs in the sea which means the rising and falling of the sea. It is the process which occurs on its own in the sea. It cannot be started or stopped by any means. Both, time and tide are examples that do not have consideration for anything. โ€˜Time and tide wait for noneโ€™ is a proverb which explains its meaning itself and true for all spheres of life.

The project was developed by Huanghe Hydropower Development and is integrated with the 1,280MW Longyangxia hydroelectric power station.

“6 SECRETS ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING THAT WILL BOOST YOUR TEAM’S RESULTS”

“6 SECRETS ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING THAT WILL BOOST YOUR TEAM’S RESULTS”

If you are looking to improve your companyโ€™s customer service training, this article is for you.

While training and preparing your employees is clearly the first step taken by a good management team, it is nevertheless advisable to focus on what type of training they need and how to implement it. Below we will give you 6 secrets that will help you improve your customer service training and provide a significant boost to your business.

1) Train ALL your employees:

Customer service is something that interests and concerns the entire company, not just a single department. In one way or another, the work of all your employees resonates with the end customer. For this reason, it is essential to provide customer service training instruction to your entire staff: not only will they be prepared to meet (or exceed) the expectations of users, but you will also be transmitting a consistent message across the company regarding the importance of customer service.

2)A coherent message: the customer comes first

While customer service training could include numerous technical aspects and personal skills, the essential message should be loud and clear: the customer comes first. These few words should waft throughout the organization as if they constituted a religious mantra. If your training is built upon this principle (which should be repeated until exhaustion), the foundation you are laying will help everything else run smoothly.

3)Practice, practice and continue practicing:

If you want successful training, you have to commit to practice. Numerous studies confirm that experiential learning and learning by doing increase brain activity and the ability to memorize knowledge. Have your employees practice everything that they are learning so that they will never forget anything.

4)Exercise attitudes, positivity and empathy:

Many customer service training programs forget to teach the basics: kindness, empathy, positivity and courtesy. While many of these skills could appear naturally, the reality is that they must be reinforced and fostered throughout the company. Make sure that your courses drive home the need to be positive, smile, refer to the customer by name, remain calm, have patience and walk in our usersโ€™ shoes. Never assume that your employees are capable of doing all this in their day to day tasks.

5)Personalize your training:

Every company is its own universe, and every customer support service is different. For this reason, if your company has some particular processes that you want to implement (welcome greeting, presentation of a product, packaging, closing a sale, returning an article, etc.), it is worth investing time into personalized training that satisfies the needs of your company and business.

6)Ongoing training: reinforce, reinforce and continue reinforcing:

Customer service training should be a never-ending learning experience. Running a course during a month or two will neither significantly impact your staff nor improve your businessโ€™s figures. Employees (just like everyone else!) forget what they have learned and easily fall back into their old habits. It is thus essential to hold regular training courses (e.g., changing formats) to continue shoring up all the new knowledge and skills learned.

The ultimate guide to improving customer service in your company:

Before we begin, let us clarify what we mean by customer service. The term refers to the way a company interacts with its customers, and encompasses everything from the initial contact, presentation of a product, closing of a sale, provision of a warranty and the handling of complaints and problems. Whenever there is direct contact with a customer, we are talking about customer service.

While this is the basic definition, the fact is that the concept has much wider implications for the whole company. In recent years, the term โ€œcustomer experienceโ€ has become a buzzword; it refers to the entire customer journey and the creation of a unique experience in their relationship with the company. A host of companies all over the world are striving to enhance this experience in order to build their reputation, increase customer loyalty and drive sales. Indeed, when asked about the companyโ€™s main competitive advantage, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos was quick to define it as:

โ€œCreating a customer experience superior to anything my competitors can create.โ€

6 invaluable tips for creating a successful customer service strategy:

Wanting to place your customer at the center of your business sounds easy, but it is much harder than you think. For years, companies have been developing a specific company culture and have pursued a set of priorities that are difficult to change. Very often, putting the customer first means relegating shareholders and employees to second place. So, how can we bring about this transformation? Here are six strategies that will help you to achieve it:

1)Demonstrate that the customer is important:

Many of your co-workers (and even your boss) will tell you that the customer is the number one priority, yet two seconds later they are making decisions that do not take the customer into account. To really change the culture of a company and the reasoning behind important decisions, you have to prove to the entire company (without exception) that the customer is the lifeblood of every business.

There are a host of arguments you can use: it is the customer who pays everyoneโ€™s salaries, awards bonuses at the end of the year and even serves the shareholders. Good customer service has a direct impact on the companyโ€™s bottom line. A company is nothing without its customers; they are its most important asset. Repeat these techniques over and over again (for example, begin each meeting by talking about a particular customer) and provide numerous examples to demonstrate that this is true.

2)Establish fast and user-friendly customer service processes:

Many companies have spent years building barriers and bureaucratic hurdles in customer service. If you want to make the customer the real boss in your company, you have to knock down all these walls and make communication as smooth as possible. Ensure that customer service is fast (no customer should have to wait more than 30 seconds on the phone), set up different touchpoints (telephone, chat service, email, face-to-face contact, etc.) and processes that allow you to deal quickly with product returns, customer complaints and inquiries.

3)Hire professionals that care about the customer:

If you want to create a customer-centric company, bear this in mind when hiring staff. Ask candidates about their experience in customer service (even if they are never going to see a customer!), take advantage of the interview to tell them about the companyโ€™s values and look for people who are empathetic, friendly and good communicators. If you want to provide the best customer service experience, you have to hire the best.

4)Empower employees:

regarded as the guru of customer service, never tires of repeating this: employees should have the freedom and power (empowerment) to make quick decisions for the benefit of the customer. Very often, employees dealing with the public are obliged to check with their supervisors or seek their approval for product returns. In Tschohlโ€™s opinion, this is one of the greatest bottlenecks of customer service. Employees must be empowered to make decisions at top speed, on the spot, and always for the benefit of the customer.

5)Use new technologies:

While face-to-face contact is always important, when you have hundreds, thousands or even millions of customers you are going to have to invest in technology. And we are talking about technology developed specifically to enhance the customer experience. This might include a live chat service 24 hours a day, automatic options for product returns (with a simple click), online warranty services or free delivery. The goal, once again, is to ensure that your customers enjoy your service (and become fans of your brand).

6)Measure, measure and measure again:

If you want to identify the strengths and weaknesses of your customer service, you will have no choice but to measure, measure and then measure some more. This exercise will help you to understand the importance of the customer and the huge impact they have on your organization. To do this, assess basic indicators such as the Net Promoter Score (NPS, or recommendation rate), use the mystery shopping technique, measure the number of complaints, average waiting time, number of interactions needed to resolve a problem and the key performance indicators. This will not only help you to enhance the customer experience, but also to raise awareness of the โ€œcult of the customerโ€ throughout the organization.

Take it seriously:

Get training. Many people think that customer service is something that comes โ€œnaturallyโ€. At the end of the day, we all deal with people in our day-to-day life. However, this attitude is a big mistake that could cost your company millions of dollars. Customer service is far too serious and important a business to be left to chance; your employees need to take it seriously, receive the appropriate training and learn.

Listen carefully:

The first customer contact is about what the customer has to tell us. They may be interested in a new product, have a problem that needs solving or demand that their money be returned immediately. We should always pay close and careful attention, and listen calmly and attentively so that we donโ€™t miss a detail. Youโ€™d be amazed by the number of people who constantly interrupt the customer or let their minds wander during the conversation.

Be human:

We all like to be treated like people, so donโ€™t speak like a robot. Always ask the customer for their first name and tell them yours, whether you are behind a counter or at the other end of the phone or online chat.

Apologize:

While you are probably not to blame for your customerโ€™s complaint, that is irrelevant: as the company representative, itโ€™s your job to apologize. A company that apologizes is a company that cares about its customers. Donโ€™t blame others and donโ€™t be afraid to say the words โ€œIโ€™m sorryโ€โ€ฆ itโ€™s often the best way to calm down a customer and show empathy before sorting out their problem.

Solve the problem:

The customer needs and wants you to solve the problem, not make excuses or bombard them with technical explanations. Focus on finding out what they need and offer solutions (offer a number of alternatives if possible). If you canโ€™t help them, find someone who can. Always look for a solution.

“WHY YOGA CAN BE SO IRRITATING (ALTHOUGH YOU SHOULD GO ANYWAY!)”

“WHY YOGA CAN BE SO IRRITATING (ALTHOUGH YOU SHOULD GO ANYWAY!)”

In addition to being somewhat crazyโ€Š a shrink once diagnosed me with borderline personality disorder, which I thought was a bit of a stretch until I realized that, like everyone else, he just wanted to have sex with meโ€Šโ€”โ€ŠI am a yoga teacher. I donโ€™t know what your idea of a yoga teacher is, but should you, recoiling in horror as you read along here, find yourself asking, โ€œBut how does someone like this become a yoga teacher?โ€โ€Šโ€”โ€Šthe short answer is that I gave a man with a beard and his hot wife $3,200 dollars. The long answer isโ€ฆ well, Iโ€™d like to say that itโ€™s because if I hadnโ€™t gotten obsessed with yoga Iโ€™d probably be dead, because thatโ€™s what people always say about things like this: โ€œIf I hadnโ€™t discovered writing, Iโ€™d be dead,โ€ โ€œif I hadnโ€™t found Alcoholics Anonymous/married my amazing wife/started making autumn-inspired hand-knit legwarmers and selling them on Etsy, Iโ€™d be dead.โ€ But saying, โ€œwithout yoga I would probably be deadโ€ would be, frankly, a little overdramatic. Letโ€™s just say that if I didnโ€™t do yoga everything bad about me would just be worse, and what is bad is already bad enough.

Now, because you canโ€™t get something for nothing, thereโ€™s a problem. Which is, Yoga Can Be Extremely Annoying. So if youโ€™ve been meaning to get yourself there but have been thinking, โ€œIโ€™m afraid it will annoy me,โ€ hereโ€™s some good news: You might be crazy but as far as this particular fear goes, rest assured, itโ€™s the product of whatever shred of sanity you may have retained.

Thereโ€™s no getting around it. Yoga has moments of such profound annoyingness that after I finished Eat, Pray, Love (needless to say, I read the ashram section 100 times) all I could think was, โ€œYou wrote an entire book about yoga and meditation and you never mentioned, โ€˜oh, by the way, sometimes you will want to punch these people in the faceโ€™?โ€ And this is where I perform my public service; in yoga we call that a โ€œsevaโ€ (how annoying is that?). All the stuff Elizabeth Gilbert was too high on homemade pizza and Javier Bardem penis to mention, you need to know. Everyoneโ€™s always telling you how great yoga is, and thatโ€™s true, but then you go there and maybe the studio smells like onions steamed in cat pee, and it might have been helpful to know about that beforehand! You need to know exactly what will disturb you before you get there, so you can prepare; and you should also know that, even though everyone around you will seem perfectly unperturbed, someoneโ€Š someone who stayedโ€Š โ€Šfeels your pain. Oh, and by the way, I want to underscore that what follows below is what bugs me about yoga; everything else is a glittering gift from Lord Shiva. Namaste!

People who just saw each other yesterday will hug like one of them was just rescued from a burning airplane. Iโ€™ve always thought of a hug as a slightly protracted, lightly physical way of saying hello to people I know fairly well or have not seen for a long time. Regular practitioners of yoga see hugs as a great way to spend an afternoon. You will want to stare at them and wonder, โ€œAre they really pressing their whole bodies together?โ€ (yes); โ€œare their eyes closed?โ€ (they are); โ€œdo they really have dreamy looks on their faces?โ€ (yes, yes, yes). But remember, while youโ€™re staring youโ€™re wasting valuable time in which you could be cultivating your โ€œI am not the sort of person who likes to be hugged for long periods of timeโ€ vibe. This is easier said than done because you will sometimes see people at yogaโ€Šโ€Šlike, people who you actually know, who are your friendsโ€Š with whom you may wish to make brief, friendly physical contact. Engage in such exchanges as you wish, but realize that you are setting yourself as a person who willingly receives hugs, and these people will not take the extra mental step to say, โ€œoh, but above the waist hugs,โ€ or โ€œhugs that only last a second.โ€ Make no mistake: these people are looking to soul-blend. To avoid: Arrive early. Lie down with closed eyes. Bring flip-flopsโ€Š theyโ€™re essential for a hasty exit.

During hard poses, women and gay men will remain silent and straight men will laugh self-deprecatingly. Imagine being at a gym. Men are lifting heavy weights. They strain, grit their teeth, sweat. But they donโ€™t laugh. So why, here, as they sink into their thighs in Warrior Two or lift their chest skyward during Upward Facing Bow, do they feel the need to let out a little chuckle? More importantly, why does this irk you so? Because, my friend, you are witnessing An Unconscious Assertion of Masculinity. That little laugh is their way of letting you know that hey, theyโ€™re not really embarrassed about being so bad at this, because theyโ€™re not even supposed to be here, theyโ€™re not really doing this, theyโ€™re good at other things, like, for example, sitting in an airport bar working their way through a 1- dollar for the upgrade double scotch, a bowl of nuts and a โ€œTwo and A Half Menโ€ re-run on the corner TV. Of course, there is also the other type of straight guy in yoga, the guy who can wrap his arms around his ankles and turn himself into a perfect circle, the guy who can stand on his hands in the middle of the room, and he is his own version of Hell. Why, you ask, does this man wear his hair in a bun, on top of his head? There are some secrets that no amount of enlightenment will reveal. I will tell you this: These guys tend to get a lot of ass, so laugh as you will, but know that theyโ€™re getting the last one upside-down.

There will be Yoga Overachievers. You will be doing Cat-Cow at a normal pace, and they will be bucking and heaving like mechanical bulls. You will be expending an amount of effort somewhere in between โ€œchallenging yourselfโ€ and โ€œable to retain sufficient muscle strength to remove shampoo bottle from shower caddy.โ€ They will be straining, grunting, grimacing. When the pose is over, they will often emit some hideous but presumably cathartic howl. I always want to say to those people, โ€œThe auditions for the high-school production of The Trojan Women are in the Lotus Room today,โ€ but I donโ€™t think I need to tell you that your basic yoga overachiever does not have the greatest sense of humor. Then, when class is over, and everyone does that weird little bow, the Yoga Overachiever will bow down for, roughly, an hour. Seriously. You will have already taken your own little Iโ€™m-so-spiritual-and-humble-before-the Creator bow, put on your flip-flops (good job!), hightailed it away from the would-be hugger/soul blenders, made and consumed a meal, masturbated to some violent pornography and be just about to crawl into bed with the fall Anthropologie catalog, and they remain on the floor in the yoga studio, thanking God for making them, well, them. As these people have a tendency toward spraying you with saliva and noxious BO (see next item) you should give them a wide berth, and donโ€™t attend any functions at their homes, because, for reasons with which the universe has not yet supplied me, theyโ€™re almost always horrible cooks.

People will have chive crotch. I developed the term โ€œchive crotchโ€ when, as a mere girl, I was visiting a friend in Oregon and attended a county fair with her. This was my first time on the West Coast. I had smelled body odor before, of course, but never body odor strong enough to make me almost pass out. This was not mere sweat, this was, I said to my friend, the scent of a person who, after carrying around the same bunch of chives in their underwear for an entire summer, had found themselves mid-August with no shower, no clean underwear and, needless to say, no fresh bunch of chives. This is what about 15 percent of people smell like in yoga class. Look, I will confess to having mild body odor myself at times. But I believe smelling like a person who showered recently, applied a non-Alzheimerโ€™s causing deodorant or crystal to her pits and sweated a little in the car is a far cry from chive crotch. The thing thatโ€™s really annoying about people stinking is they always have this look on their faces like smelling bad makes them somehow closer to the earth, more spiritual, than evil clean people who have used up precious natural resources and unleashed sodium lauryl sulfates into the environment for the mere purpose of not befouling the rooms they share with others.

There are teachers and students who think flexibility is some kind of indication of how good a person you are. A teacher once said to me, โ€œYour hamstrings are tight is because your mind is not flexible.โ€ I said, โ€œHave you ever taken differential calculus?โ€ She said, โ€œWhat?โ€ I said, โ€œHave you ever taken differential calculus?โ€ She had not. She said she was terrible at math. I said, โ€œWell, I am very good at math.โ€ (This was not strictly true, but I was quite confident I was better at math than she was.) โ€œIs there something wrong with your mind that you arenโ€™t?โ€ (No, this was not just a strategy to stop this person from soul-hugging me, but it did have that fortunate side effect.)

While we certainly hold tension, trauma and rigidity in our limbs and joints and muscles (otherwise The Universe wouldnโ€™t have given us Bengay), there is no reason to imagine thereโ€™s some absolutely direct correlation between how well we can move and how functional or healthy our mind is. I seriously doubt that Einstein or Susan Sontag had less flexible minds than, I donโ€™t know, Rodney Yee. My point is, some physical limitations can be aided through the practice of yoga and some canโ€™t and no one needs the increased pressure of someone telling them, every time they strain to get their heels on the floor in Downward Facing Dog that this is because their mind is all fucked up. Maybe it is, maybe it isnโ€™t, but you just wait until the day when thereโ€™s a public forum where people can pay $10-$18 dollars to get in a room with other people to demonstrate how good they are at math. Actually, there is such a place and I guess that would be called โ€œschoolโ€ and it goes on much longer than a yoga class and often costs much more and it scars people horribly and makes them grow up angry and thinking of ways to humiliate people who canโ€™t touch their toes.

So if, one day, your teacher says, we hold a lot of stuff in our hips and hamstrings and as we begin to let this stuff go and become our authentic selves we will be able to wrap our arms around ourselves eight times, look around the room. You will probably see a guy who can do that, while smiling, and Iโ€™ll bet you a $100 prAna gift certificate that you will eventually hear from someone in class about the time he flew into a rage and broke a car window with a shop vac. When your hamstrings become authentic, maybe they can help him.

Teachers talk like Yodaโ€™s MSW-having Mom. If you were to ask your yoga teacher, โ€œCan my newly authentic hamstrings help the angry guy?โ€ she might say something like, โ€œThat depends on whether they were coming from a space of pure intention.โ€ The word โ€œhonorโ€ is used a lot, as in โ€œhonoring yourself,โ€ or โ€œhonoring your practice.โ€ Other popular words: โ€œJoy.โ€ โ€œIntegrity.โ€ โ€œSpace,โ€ but not as in outer space, as in โ€œGo into a space of,โ€ and โ€œplace,โ€ but not as in โ€œthat place next to Shoe Pavilion,โ€ as in, โ€œLet yourself come into a place ofโ€ฆโ€ When class is over, the teacher will say something like, โ€œBow to your inner wisdom,โ€ or โ€œtake a moment to thank yourself for committing to your practice,โ€ which always makes me intone the prayer, โ€œPlease, God, make me less fat than I was an hour and a half ago.โ€

The worst part about yoga world vocabulary, of course, is how quickly you may find yourself learning and using it. The hope is that because yoga has made youโ€Šโ€”โ€ŠIโ€™m sorry, I mean, allowed you to open up a space to becomeโ€Šโ€”โ€Šso much more self aware and less narcissistic, you will only talk this way in front of other people who talk like that too. And now that you are friends with so many of them, because you have, after so thoroughly mocking this world basically joined it, that means practically everyone you speak to. My final warning, when you are talking to one of your new yoga buddies, do not accidentally buttdial an old friend, especially if he is a sniping, gym-going homosexual, and allow him to hear you speaking the lingua franca of Yogaland, because, after seeing the record of the call and hoping he heard nothing, you will receive a text message reading: โ€œYOU ARE SO FUCKING BUSTED BITCHโ€Šโ€”โ€ŠYOUโ€™RE A LOSER!โ€ and no amount of yoga will ever mitigate the shame.

โ€œHow are you?โ€ is not a simple question at yoga. No one at yoga is ever just fine. Theyโ€™re โ€œworking through a lot of heavy stuff,โ€ or โ€œdealing with a lot of craziness.โ€ That said, when people ask you how you are, donโ€™t say anything bad. If you are broke, the universe is just trying to teach you a lesson about how much you already have. If someone dumped you, the universe removed that person from your life for a reason. (And that reason is that person is no longer interested in having sex with you!) The universe is very busy in the yoga world, always trying to show you things. I have simply let the universe know, hey, I have seen enough. I have learned enough. Until you can give me a billion dollars and a soundproof room filled with 2002 Zinfandel and organic goat cheese cheddar where all I have to do is watch โ€œFoyleโ€™s Warโ€ until I drop dead, please leave me alone. But itโ€™s determined to keep pestering me. At any rate, when people ask you how you are at yoga, donโ€™t tell them anything bad has happened to you unless youโ€™re prepared for the suggestion that you look at your misfortune with an attitude of grace and gratitude. And while I think grace and gratitude are both wonderful things, I also think they are attitudes best preceded by bitterness, rage and self-pity.

So yes, in the beginning itโ€™s all about slipping the car keys inside the flip flops so that all the tools of your escape are in a neat little package. But just keep showing up. In no time you will become sufficiently like all these people that they wonโ€™t bother you at all. And then some crazy asshole will make fun of you. Is the circle of eternity beautiful or what?

Techniques to improve teaching.

1. Creative Teaching

Take the help of tools to stimulate creativity. For example, include naughty games or visual exercises that will excite young minds and capture their interest.

This is a time-tested method to identify every young studentโ€™s creative abilities and encourage creative contributions.

Bring aspects of creativity into all your subjects, be it mathematics, science, or history. Then, think of ways to develop their creative ideas.

Encourage different ideas, give them the freedom to explore

2. Audio & Video Tools

Incorporate audio-visual materials to supplement textbooks during your sessions. These can be models, filmstrips, movies, pictures, infographics or other mind mapping and brain mapping tools.

Such tools will help their imagination thrive and grow.

These methods will develop their ability to listen and help them understand the concepts better.

For example, you can get some oral history materials, conduct live online discussions or playback recordings of public lectures.

If you are tech-savvy, there are also several innovative apps for preschoolers that you can utilize to create fantastic slideshows or presentations

3. โ€œReal-Worldโ€ Learning

Infusing real-world experiences into your instructions will make teaching moments fresh and enrich classroom learning.

Relating and demonstrating through real-life situations will make the material easy to understand and easy to learn. In addition, it will spark their interest and get the children excited and involved.

4. Brainstorm

Make time for brainstorming sessions in your classrooms. These sessions are a great way to get the creative juices flowing.

When you have multiple brains focusing on one single idea, you can get numerous ideas and involve everyone in the discussion.

These sessions will be an excellent platform for students to voice their thoughts without worrying about right or wrong.

Set some ground rules before you start. You can go for simple brainstorming or group brainstorming or pair brainstorming

5. Classes Outside the Classroom

Some lessons are best learnt when they are taught outside of the classroom. Organize field trips relevant to the classes or take students for a walk outside of the school.

Students will find this fresh and exciting. Without taking much effort, they will learn and remember what you teach them.

6. Role Play

Teaching through role-playing is a great way to make children step out of their comfort zone and develop their interpersonal skills.

This method comes in handy, especially when you are teaching literature, history or current events.

Also Read: 15 Best Math Apps For Kids

The role-playing approach will help a student understand how the academic material will be relevant to his everyday tasks.

Role-playing is most effective for students of almost any age group. It would help if you customized depending on the age group.

You can even use this method for teaching preschoolers. Just make sure you keep it simple enough to capture their limited attention span

7. Storyboard Teaching

Rudyard Kipling rightly said, โ€œIf history were taught in the form of stories, it would never be forgotten.โ€

Storyboarding is a great way to teach any subject which requires step-by-step memorization or visualization of highly conceptual ideas.

History teachers can use a storyboard to recreate a famous event. Such visually stimulating activity will ensure that even complex ideas are easily put across to students.

You can also encourage storyboards as a form of communication and let the students tell a story in pictures using their imagination.

Airbnb with AWS

About Airbnb

Airbnb is a community marketplace that allows property owners and travellers to connect to rent unique vacation spaces worldwide. The San Francisco-based Airbnb began operation in 2008 and currently has hundreds of employees across the globe supporting property rentals in nearly 25,000 cities in 192 countries. The Airbnb community usersโ€™ activities are conducted on the companyโ€™s Website and iPhone and Android applications.

Airbnb Scales Infrastructure Automatically Using AWS (3:18)

The Challenge

A year after Airbnb launched, the company decided to migrate nearly all of its cloud computing functions to Amazon Web Services (AWS) because of service administration challenges experienced with its original provider. Nathan Blecharczyk, Co-founder & CTO of Airbnb, says, โ€œInitially, the appeal of AWS was the ease of managing and customizing the stack. It was great to be able to ramp up more servers without having to contact anyone and without having minimum usage commitments. As our company continued to grow, so did our reliance on the AWS cloud and now, weโ€™ve adopted almost all of the features AWS provides. AWS is the easy answer for any Internet business that wants to scale to the next level.โ€

Airbnb has grown significantly over the last three years. The company uses 200 Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) instances for its application, Memcache, and search servers to support demand. Within Amazon EC2, Airbnb uses Elastic Load Balancing, which automatically distributes incoming traffic between multiple Amazon EC2 instances. To quickly process and analyze 50 Gigabytes of data daily, Airbnb uses Amazon Elastic MapReduce (Amazon EMR). Airbnb uses Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) to house backups and static files, including ten terabytes of user pictures. To monitor all of its server resources, Airbnb uses Amazon CloudWatch, which allows the company to easily supervise its Amazon EC2 assets through the AWS Management Console, Command Line Tools, or a Web services API.

In addition, Airbnb moved its central MySQL database to Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS). Airbnb chose Amazon RDS because it simplifies much of the time-consuming administrative tasks typically associated with databases. Amazon RDS allows complex procedures, such as replication and scaling, to be completed with an introductory API call or through the AWS Management Console. Airbnb currently uses Multi-Availability Zone (Multi-AZ) deployment to automate its database replication further and augment data durability.

Airbnb was able to complete its entire database migration to Amazon RDS with only 15 minutes of downtime. This quick transition was significant to the fast-growing Airbnb because it did not want its community of users to be shut out of its marketplace for an extended period. Tobi Knaup, an engineer at Airbnb, says, โ€œBecause of AWS, there has always been an easy answer (in terms of time required and cost) to scale our site.โ€

The Benefits

Airbnb believes that AWS saved it the expense of at least one operations position. Additionally, the company states that the flexibility and responsiveness of AWS are helping it to prepare for more growth. Knaup says, โ€œWeโ€™ve seen that Amazon Web Services listens to customersโ€™ needs. If the feature does not yet exist, it probably will in a matter of months. The low cost and simplicity of its services made it a no-brainer to switch to the AWS cloud.โ€

Purpose of Education?

โ€œThe purpose of education has always been to every one, in
essence, the sameโ€”to give the young the things they need in
order to develop in an orderly, sequential way into members of
society. This was the purpose of the education given to a little
aboriginal in the Australian bush before the coming of the white
man. It was the purpose of the education of youth in the golden
age of Athens. It is the purpose of education today, whether
this education goes on in a one-room school in the mountains
of Tennessee or in the most advanced, progressive school in a
radical community. But to develop into a member of society in
the Australian bush had nothing in common with developing into
a member of society in ancient Greece, and still less with what
is needed today. Any education is, in its forms and methods, an
outgrowth of the needs of the society in which it exists.โ€(1934)

โ€œThe function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. But education which stops with efficiency may prove the greatest menace to society. The most dangerous criminal may be the man gifted with reason but no morals. โ€ฆ We must remember that intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus characterโ€”that is the goal of true education.โ€ (1948)

โ€œThe main purpose of the American school is
to provide for the fullest possible development
of each learner for living morally, creatively, and
productively in a democratic society.โ€(1954)

โ€œ[The purpose of education] has changed from that of producing a literate society to that of producing a learning society.โ€(1961)

โ€œThe one continuing purpose of education, since ancient times,
has been to bring people to as full a realization as possible of
what it is to be a human being. Other statements of educational
purpose have also been widely accepted: to develop the intellect,
to serve social needs, to contribute to the economy, to
create an effective work force, to prepare students for a job or
career, to promote a particular social or political system. These
purposes offered are undesirably limited in scope, and in some
instances they conflict with the broad purpose I have indicated;
they imply a distorted human existence. The broader humanistic
purpose includes all of them, and goes beyond them, for it seeks
to encompass all the dimensions of human experience.โ€(1991)

Clubhouse

The Clubhouse app brings an exciting twist to social media, but it has a long way of providing a more intuitive user experience. Here I give it a shot!

With enough apps to fill the social media space, Clubhouse is a refreshing concept of interacting with people by voice. And with big names like Elon Musk giving it a shot, people are flocking to try the app!

In a nutshell, Clubhouse allows you to follow specific topics and based on that, you will be suggested rooms in which you can voice chat with the rest of the audience. It is like a podcast where everyone can chip in. How does it make it any different from other social media platforms like Twitter โ€” is that you donโ€™t have to spend time synthesizing your thoughts into (limited) text. Instead, you can be more impromptu and engage more efficiently with the rest of the audience.

The app is currently available only for iOS (as of Febโ€™21) and is admittedly different looking than other apps in generalLike the use of emoticons โœŒ๐Ÿฝ in buttons and the friendly-looking โ€œsquircleโ€ shaped profile pictures!

Squircle profile pictures (room interface)

But when it comes to intuitiveness and usability, it does have problems at certain spots. And upon sharing my thoughts on the appโ€™s UX with my fellow mates (to prune the perspective bias), they too had some views on similar lines.

Hence I decided to collect those opinions and try improving the interface with few ideas. This article will only cover the โ€œroomโ€ interface and the rest of the app in further articles.

The โ€œRoomโ€ experience

The room interface is the heart of the application, where the users spend most of their time. It has a grid for profiles of those present in the room, and they are split between stage (speakers+moderators) vs audience (listeners). Anyone from the audience can raise their hand, and the moderator then allows that person to be on the stage and speak.

Current design

The overall interface of the room is spotless and efficient, as you get to see only the image and the first name of a person. But the problem starts when there are many people on the stage, and it becomes one hell of an experience trying to figure out whoโ€™s is currently speaking. This is mainly because the active speaker never comes up in the grid of profiles, and if that person is not visible in the viewport, you keep scrolling up and down in the stage area tracking speakers.

Accompanying this rough behaviour, there are other minor issues like you donโ€™t get to see the roomโ€™s plan or the count of speakers/audience or

The current design for room

If you click a profile, there comes a bottom sheet (thatโ€™s what material design calls it) with the bio of that person and a set of actions.

The current design for viewing profile inside a room

Ideated design

I started by picking the most impacting problem at hand โ€” tracking the active speaker and re-did the interface for the stage area.

Ideated design for room

Another missing factor in the current design is room agenda/information, and there is no way to access that while being in the room. This becomes a problem when people join the space in the middle (thereby missing the introduction by moderator), and they have no way to know what that room is strictly talking about.

Also, with people switching to languages that may be unknown to some in the audience, it can be an excellent addition to have the language(s) in the room plan/information and, in a way, regulate it. ๐Ÿ’ฌ

Ideated design for room agenda/information

Lastly, I made some changes to the profile interface as well to improve the visual hierarchy of the content.

OYO Rooms

Ritesh Agarwal founded Oravel stays in 2012, which he later changed to OYO in 2013, which is currently valued at 8 Billion Dollars. Oyo Rooms has revolutionized the hotel industry by providing them with the proper way to increase their business and helped them to optimize their customer experience by completely renovates the rooms by solving the everyday problems related to hotel rooms; by this, they wanted to provide a consistent experience in their hotels across the globe. Oyo partners with hotels to offer a similar experience at a compelling price than the competition. Currently, Oyo has a total of 17000 employees across all locations, of which approximately 8000 are from India and other Asian countries.

Funding of OYO.

In September 2018, OYO raised $1 billion, of which the RoC filing for the amount of $100 million raised from Star Virtue Investment Ltd. was made on 13 February 2019.

In February 2019, Oyo received $100 million funding from the Chinese vehicle hire company Didi Chuxing.

The company was valued at $10 billion with this deal.

In October 2019, Oyo raised Series F funding of $1.5 billion led by SoftBank GroupLightspeed Venture Partners and Sequoia India.[

Financial results.

In 2019, OYO registered a record revenue of about 950 million dollars. A 4.5X growth compared to the previous year, which was 211 million dollars.

Acquisitions by OYO.

In the meantime, with increasing business, OYO has acquired several companies; for example, In march 2018, OYO Acquired  Chennai-based service apartment operator Nova scotia Boutique Homes. In March 2016, OYO acquired the team of Qlik Pass to expand itself in the data science sector.

WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE

William Shakespeare was certainly a very famous writer. The man is credited with an unbelievable thirty-eight plays, two narrative poems, several other poems and a whopping one hundred fifty-four sonnets. Shakespeare is the worldโ€™s pre-eminent dramatist and according to many experts is the greatest writer in the English language. Furthermore, he is also called Englandโ€™s National Poet and also has the nickname of the Bard of Avon. Such a worthy reputation is due to his top-notch unmatchable writing skills.William Shakespeare was born to a successful businessman in Stratford-upon-Avon on 23rd April in the year 1564. Shakespeareโ€™s mother was the daughter of a landlord and came from a well-to-do family. About the age of seven, William Shakespeare began attending the Stratford Grammar School.Shakespeare was a leading member of the group from 1594 for the rest of his career. 1594 had produced at least six of Shakespeareโ€™s plays; During Shakespeareโ€™s life, there were two monarchs who ruled England. GREEN STEPS.

it is important that every human being respects them and uses morals and ethics when they were dealing with them.

Main environmental issues in India :
๐Ÿ“ŒWater pollution: major rivers are polluted by sewage, chemicals, agricultural and industrial waste.
๐Ÿ“ŒAir pollution: Vehicles releasing chemicals and industries releasing chemical fumes in the air are the major causes of air pollution.
๐Ÿ“ŒDeforestation:reduction of trees wilfully or naturally
๐Ÿ“ŒPlastics and other waste:plastic is made up of non-biodegradable material which cannot be broken down into simpler substances. They can stay on earth for more than a thousand years, thus contaminating soil and water bodies.

RIGHT TO EDUCATION: OVERVIEW AND LOOPHOLES

“Long years ago we made a tryst with destiny, and now the time comes when we shall redeem our pledge, not wholly or in full measure, but very substantially. At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom. A moment comes, which comes but rarely in history, when we step out from the old to new, when an age ends, and when the soul of a nation, long suppressed, finds utteranceโ€

-Former PM Jawaharlal Nehru

India gained Independence from British colonial rule, after prolonged freedom movement and struggles. With Independence, India became the master of its own destiny and the process to make India a super power and self-reliant began soon. One of the challenges that the country was going to face was with regard to financial viability, as soon after Independence, the economic growth of the country was near to negligible with very low Tax collections. In the Midst of these situations, the country had to invest on human resources in order to build a responsible and knowledgeable work force for the future. As the country was in a state of desperateness, people were not financially strong to even bear the costs of educating their children. Constituent assembly of India, while deliberating with regards to the Obligation of State to educate children, considered all these factors & situations and consequently placed this obligation under Directive principle of state policy (Part IV) rather than Fundamental rights (Part III). We find this observation from the language of Article 45 of the Constitution of India, wherein the obligation on the state to educate children up to the age of Fourteen years, was deferred for Ten years from the adoption of the Constitution. But the turmoil in the Indian Politics never realized this obligation into a reality, the duty of the state underlined in Article 45 came to fora only after 55 years of Independence when 86th Constitutional Amendment act was passed by the legislature that included the Article 21A in the Indian constitution making Education a fundamental Right, also it specified the need for a legislation to describe the mode of implementation of the same which necessitated the drafting of a separate Education Bill.Consequently Right to Education Bill, 2005 (Hereinafter RTE Act) was drafted and was further enacted in 2009. It was a landmark day for the people of India, since one of the Visions of our Constitution framers was coming to life that was Right to compulsory education for children between the ages of 6 to 14 years. The Legal framework was put into place, but the hopes of the majority of population faded with each passing year. The Schools established under the abovementioned legislation, was inadequate and most of the schools even failed to pass the norms already in place governing the education system. One of the Achievements of Right to Education was that it motivated village population to allow girl students to enroll, and it subsequently saw rise in enrollment ratio with changes in some states. But, several discrepancies began to be grounded with regards to โ€œSchools with No Educationโ€, โ€œSchools with No Sanitationโ€ and Schools with No Structuresโ€. On many occasions, even students being taught under a banyan tree was called a school under the Aegis of RTE Act, which talks about serious structural lapses on the implementation of such fundamental right. The Constitution also provides for Article 21 that is Right to Life, which has been interpreted in a very wide manner. If we were to compare the protection of Article 21A with that of 21, it would be like state saying โ€œYou have the right to life and liberty, But Sorry we are not accountable for your foodโ€, even Right to food is a fundamental right. This example is to portray the stark differences in the Implementation of a fundamental right, revered by our constitution framers. The Situation would further worsen, if attempts are not made to sincerely take effort in uplifting the standards of Education of poor and under-privileged children. This would portray development of a country in toto.

As in the words of Abraham Lincoln, โ€œThe best way to predict your future is to create itโ€, If India has to achieve the goals of becoming a Super power and self-reliant, it needs to take strides in order to develop its Public Education Infrastructure.

OIL PULLING

Oil pulling is an old Ayurvedic dental action which apparently dates back approximately 3,000 years ago. It basically comprises of whooshing a tiny quantity of oil in mouth for a short time, then spitting it out. The thought is that the oil pulls out bacteria and other toxins that hide within your mouth.

How Does Oil Pulling Work?

When you get up in the morning, get a tablespoon of any oil and swish it around your mouth for about 20 minutes, like when you use mouthwash. However, donโ€™t do it as robustly since youโ€™ll be doing it for far longer and your jaw will get exhausted.

Mildly swirl the oil around your mouth and pull it through the spaces between your teeth. Ensure not to swallow any of it, or youโ€™ll devour the foul things in your mouth gathered by the oil.

When youโ€™re done, spit the oil in the dustbin. Do not spit it in your sink because when the oil congeals, it may block up your pipes. Wash your mouth out with warm water then brush and floss like normal.

What are the Benefits to Oil Pulling?

Oil pulling has been qualified to a number of advantages that include whiter teeth, better gums, clearer sinuses, stronger jaw, and a decrease in bad breath and gingivitis.

Itโ€™s important to keep in mind that oil pulling is not meant to substitute regular dental hygiene. You still need to brush, floss at least twice a day and visit your dentist twice a year.

Some of the benefits are as follows:

  1. Can kill Harmful Bacteria in your mouth

2. Could help reduce bad breath

3. May Help Prevent Cavities

4. Seems to Reduce Inflammation and Improve Gum Health.

5. May have other benefits

Some claim that itโ€™s able to pull stains from the surface of teeth, resulting in a whitening effect, although there is no scientific research to back this up

6. Cheap and Easy to add to your routine

Two of the biggest benefits to oil pulling are how simple it is to do and how easily it can be incorporated into your daily regimen.

HOW To Oil Pulling in 4 Simple Steps

Oil pulling is easy to do and involves just a few simple steps.

Here are the 4 simple steps to do oil pulling:

  1. Measure one tablespoon of oil, such as coconut, sesame or olive oil.
  2. Swish it around in your mouth for 15โ€“20 minutes, being careful not to swallow any.
  3. Spit the oil into a trash can once youโ€™re done. Avoid spitting it into the sink or toilet, as this can cause a build-up of oil, which may lead to clogging.
  4. Rinse your mouth well using water before eating or drinking anything.

Repeat these steps a few times per week or up to three times daily. You may also want to work your way up, starting with swishing for just 5 minutes and increasing the duration until youโ€™re able to do it for a full 15โ€“20 minutes.

For best results, most recommend doing this first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, although you can adapt based on your personal preferences

New device actuates profound cerebrum neurons by joining ultrasound, hereditary qualities.

Neurological issues like Parkinson’s illness and epilepsy have had some treatment accomplishment with profound mind incitement, however those require careful gadget implantation. A multidisciplinary group at Washington University in St. Louis has fostered another cerebrum incitement method utilizing centered ultrasound that can turn explicit sorts of neurons in the mind on and off and definitely control engine action without careful gadget implantation. The group, driven by Hong Chen, collaborator teacher of biomedical designing in the McKelvey School of Engineering and of radiation oncology at the School of Medicine, is quick to give direct proof appearance noninvasive, cell-type-explicit enactment of neurons in the cerebrum of warm blooded creature by joining ultrasound-incited warming impact and hereditary qualities, which they have named sonothermogenetics. It is likewise the main work to show that the ultrasound-hereditary qualities blend can powerfully control conduct by animating a particular objective somewhere down in the cerebrum.

The senior exploration group included specialists from both the McKelvey School of Engineering and the School of Medicine, including Jianmin Cui, educator of biomedical designing; Joseph P. Educator of anesthesiology and pharmacology at the University of Washington. The work gave proof that sonothermogenetics inspires conduct reactions in unreservedly moving mice while focusing on a profound mind site. Sonothermogenetics can possibly change our methodologies for neuroscience, investigate and reveal new techniques to comprehend and treat human mind issues. Utilizing a mouse model, Chen and the group conveyed a viral development containing TRPV1 particle channels to hereditarily chosen neurons. Then, at that point, they conveyed a little eruption of warmth by means of low-power centered ultrasound to the select neurons in the mind through a wearable gadget.ย

We can move the ultrasound gadget worn on the head of free-moving mice around to target various areas in the entire cerebrum,” said Yaoheng Yang, first creator of the paper and an alumni understudy in biomedical designing. The work expands on research led in Cui’s lab that was distributed in Scientific Reports in 2016. Cui and his group figured out interestingly that ultrasound alone can impact particle channel action and could prompt new and noninvasive approaches to control the action of explicit cells.

ย In their work, they tracked down that engaged ultrasound regulated the flows coursing through the particle channels on normal by up to 23%, contingent upon channel and improvement power. Following this work, scientists discovered nearly 10 particle channels with this ability, however every one of them are mechanosensitive, not thermosensitive. The work likewise expands on the idea of optogenetics, the blend of the designated articulation of light-delicate particle channels and the exact conveyance of light to invigorate neurons somewhere down in the mind.. Sonothermogenetics has the guarantee to focus on any area in the mouse mind with a millimetre-scale goal without making any harm to the cerebrum, Chen said. She and the group keep on streamlining the procedure and further approve their discoveries.

IMPROVEMENT OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

Even though no village in India is without an elementary school, the students who come out of these schools are not able to compete with English medium school students or with others who have had their education in private schools in towns and cities. When elementary education, which is the foundation of one’s education itself, is very weak, there can be no concrete superstructure. In rural India, parents cannot send their children to elementary schools at age five due to grinding poverty. Even otherwise, the quality of instruction and the infrastructure are far from satisfactory. This stands in the way of a sound education. Therefore, the government must make an introspection to improve the quality of elementary education in rural areas. There should not be a problem if the government is sincere about raising the standard of education in the villages.
It is imperative to construct strong buildings with all facilities, especially blackboards and furniture, and separate toilets for boys and girls. It is well known that the number of teachers falls far short of the requirements in rural elementary schools. A teacher has to look after three or four classes at a time. Hence, it is impossible to pay individual attention to the growing children necessary at the elementary level. The students in their tender age must be taught with models as envisaged by the Montessori system. This adds color to teaching and draws the children’s attention towards the lessons being taught. All said and done, and the playground facilities must receive special attention. In rural India, space is no problem, but the facilities and sports equipment are nowhere to be seen. There can be no sound education without a sound body. Sports have become an instrument of national pride in the international sphere. Hence, the students at the elementary stage must be given training in various disciplines of sports. This will certainly contribute to enhance the standards of the sport of our country. In the process, the rural youth may find gainful occupation in places of their birth and help develop the villages they live in. It will also help reverse the exodus of unemployed youth into the already extended city problems. The implementation of these suggestions should be taken seriously by powers to realize the dream of our funding fathers.
