Patriarchy and Society

We live in a society which is progressing daily, but still has thousands of loopholes. Situations in cities and rural areas differ, and situations in each and every household comes with a different set of problems. One of them is patriarchy.

Many people’s idea about patriarchy is that it targets women. But what is the exact definition? Patriarchy is essentially a system where women are oppressed by men. It is the differentiation of women, by not treating them as equal to men. As they say, nature createdย bhed, but humans createdย bhed-bhav. The worst examples of patriarchy is female feticide and gender-based violence.

Patriarchy is the mindset of people, it is the roots of prejudice strongly built by years of thought processes and influence. Patriarchy is taught in one way or the other in most households. A parent teaches the daughter to do all the household work, to cook and clean. And teaches the son to take responsibility and leadership. Why is it that so many women don’t even know the basics of finance? Don’t even have knowledge about something as basic as a bank account. That is because parents don’t find it important to teach their daughters about financial independence.

Girls are usually advised to take medical field, or take arts. Boys are advised to take engineering field. Isn’t this patriarchy? People assume that since women are more caring and compassionate by nature, doctors would be a good fit for them. Careers have to be decided by the women themselves.

Imagine marrying a man one barely knows for a few months. Having to shift homes, get used to the environment, the food, the work. All of this is expected by the women. Why? Because they are more ‘mature’ and can ‘tolerate’ adverse conditions which men can’t.

Getting to know the gender of the baby, which is illegal in our country. Then using abortion methods to kill the baby if she is a female. Female feticide. That’s how deep-rooted this patriarchy is. The baby doesn’t even get a chance to live. Her mere existence is defined by the norms of society, and her future is decided right from when she is in the womb of the mother.

Girls are weak. They are emotional. Being emotional does not make you weak. Wearing your emotions on your sleeve makes you stronger. These patriarchal norms are strongly engraved in the minds of people, and this overlooks logic and scientific reasoning. People blindly follow these assumptions because that is what they have been taught from the start.

The feminist movement has existed for nearly 150 years, yet, it has failed to shatter the patriarchal norms of society. Women can stand for truth, and can fight for their rights. But ultimately, all the major stronghold positions of society are unfortunately occupied by men. And men are not actively participating in this movement.

We all, as human beings on this planet, should all take a step forward to bring about this change. It’s basic rights, equality for all. There’s no negotiation or room for argument. It’s a simple, logical factor which everyone should be aware about.

THE PLANT SAVE LIVES OF HUMAN BEING

The corona virus is spreading all over the world. Many people are affected and some people are died. As the corona virus is not ending in India and all over the word. The corona virus itself taking different shapes and each country is giving for a different name. In that time when the new wave is coming the death and affected rate will be raising. Then the beds and oxygen will be full in number. In this is situation we have only one thing that we should take care of ourselves. This self quarantine already in exists but we should do it in a large case. In a family if one is affected also they must do self check up. This type of facility is available only for the richer people and middle class people. Those who live in villages and outer part they are not able to get these facilities. The people are waiting for doctors for long hours some die to this problem and some get serious while waiting. Some hospitals donโ€™t allow the patients because there is no place. In their house they have no facility for quarantine so they come to hospital there is also no place. The solution for this is to make things at home like medical treatment to cure our disease. In those days they used to cure any kind of disease through medical plans which is around us. Now we are avoiding the medical plants which we must eat daily. At least from this situation we can understand the reality without the help of the nature we cannot live. This plants in all over the world helping us to live a healthy. The things which are easily cultivated in our home it has many strength in it. Each plant has a significant nutrients minerals and strengths in it which is need by us in a high level. The oxygen is very important for our body to function but the oxygen we are getting from the plants.

โ€ข Many think that medicinal plants are hard to find and can only be found in far-off forests or mountains

โ€ข The advent of chemically-synthesized drugs made the home pharmacy disappear with time

โ€ข The knowledge of common remedies for minor ailments also nosedived

โ€ข However, thanks to globalization and the help of internet, more and more people are getting inclined towards Ayurvedha.

PAPYA TREE:

Papaya fruits are useful and it contains high level of antioxidants vitamin A, vitamin C, and vitamin E. Diets high in antioxidants may reduce the risk of heart disease. The antioxidants prevent the oxidation of cholesterol. The papaya leaf is often consumed as an extract, tea, or juice and has been found to treat symptoms related to dengue fever. Other common uses include reducing inflammation, improving blood sugar control, supporting skin and hair health, and preventing cancer.

Tulsi:

It is help us when we have cold and cough. We can eat it daily at least four leaves it is really good for our body. It helps the body in many other way also.

These are the two medicinal plants as an example there are many plants we can keep in our house.

โ€œWE ARE NOT SAVING PLANTS THE PLANTS ARE SAVING OUR LIVES.โ€

Depression

The hope to open anxiety & depression is a collection of heartfelt honestly by a people

In past few year articles anxiety depression and a host of other mental health condition have taken the internet by storm things that’s decades age many people were afraid to talk about they fear doing so might make them appear weak or flawed or troubled but not a wave of openess and honestly has led to more and more people to talk about there mental health and the issues they might be facing

You might be woundering but what exactly is mental health you have heard of things like anxiety and depression and you are some what familiar with negative effects stress can have on the body but you don’t know about the nuances of these things and why caring for our mental health such a crucial part of living happy healthy and well rounded life.

Superstition is the Weapon of the Weak

Superstition is a belief, practice, or rite which do not have a logical and scientific explanation. Basically, it arises due to fear, ignorance, conservatism, urge for material welfare and security of the individual. It is a universal phenomena prevalent across the globe cutting through caste, creed, national and communal boundaries. Lack of education and awareness are the root causes for the birth of superstitions. They have been passed down through history and are important part of every religion. They are strongly embedded in our society, though different societies practice them differently.

Superstition and knowledge are inversely proportional to each other. With the increase in knowledge and awareness, superstition decreases. Therefore, it becomes essential to urge the adoption of scientific temperament and logical thinking. Science has provided answers for every happening in the universe, whether good or bad, which combats the belief in baseless myths.

Confidence, courage and rationality should be instilled in mankind as these are obstacles in the spread and growth of superstitions.

Pen

we carry all essential things to school but among them the most important one in a pen .A pen is a tool to write. There are many types of pens such as a gel pen ,a ball pen ,and ink pens.

It is usually said that a pen is mightier that a sword .This actually means that the words that we write from a pen can perform many purpose therefore pen is more powerful than a sword.

The pen is used to write exams and our thoughts on paper. In this way a pen becomes a medium of communication.when we cannot talk we can use a pen to write down what we have to say.

. The most importance is highlighted not just in our pencil box but also in every other field of work.

When crime went Binary

The rampant increase in cyber attacks in India is a cause of concern. These attacks range from blackmailing and fraud for extortion of money to paralysing an important digital infrastructure through distributed denial of service attack. Digitalization has the potential to change the way things work in India but it also exposes the vulnerability of our weaknesses. State and non-state actors are potentially involved in the veil of the digital ruse. Several in the past directed to India were orchestrated by Chinese hacker groups. This makes cybersecurity a national issue of internal security. India needs to be wary of the intentions of itโ€™s naughty neighbours.

At the level of the individual, cyber crimes can take the form of fraud for money through various mobile applications. Recently a racket of such fraudsters was caught by the police. They used mobile based applications to lure people to invest their money. In fact, one application featured among the top five applications of the Google Play store. They made a large sum of money by looting the people. The lack of digital literacy and financial literacy in many people has compounded the problem.
At the national level, such attacks are aimed at disrupting of the availability of a service. The recent attack on Air India was one of the most malicious attacks of 2021. Data of millions of customers was compromised. In past, there have been many attempts on hijacking the power discoms, banks, and other important services.

Cybersecurity infrastructure in India
The ministry of communication and information technology designed the national cybersecurity policy in 2013. It aimed at protecting information including personal, financial, sovereign data and so on. National critical information infrastructure protection centre (NCIIPC) was established for strategic areas like air control, nuclear, space etc.
For noncritical digital assets, Indiaโ€™s computer emergency response team was set up under the ministry of electronics and information technology (MEITY). The National cyber coordination centre (NCCC) was set up to generate situational awareness of existing and potential cybersecurity threats.
Information technology act, 2000 also laid down some provisions for data security. Other initiatives include cyber Swachhta Kendra for botnet cleaning, training programs Like information security education and awareness project called cyber crisis management plan and so on.

Recently the government launched national helpline number 155260 to report cybercrime. Being the third largest Internet user in the world this action was rather late. But as the old saying goes better late than never, finally, citizens will have a platform dedicated to cybercrime.

With growing Internet coverage the need for cybersecurity, data protection and ensuring the privacy of data has also become pertinent. This human resource that is working against cybercrime can be given the assistance of artificial intelligence which are prompt in action and accurate in the identification of attacks. Digital literacy and awareness can no longer be neglected. Most importantly a data security law and an updated strategy should be designed. For a developing country of Indiaโ€™s proportion, a secure way of digitalising the country is a must. A safe digital space should be promised to the citizens of this country.

ORIGINS OF THE INDIGENOUS BENGALI DRAMA AND THEATER.

Theatre โ€“ as a historical tool โ€“ is not only important in the analysis of the nature of
resistance against the British rule, but also for the study of the socio-political scenario of colonial
India. Even though, being such an immensely vital topic of discussion, the theme related to
Theatres are generally neglected and tends to get much less recognition compared to what it
should obtain. However, some of the scholarly works like that of Nandi Bhatiaโ€™s โ€˜Acts of
Authority/Acts of Resistance: theatre and politics in colonial and post-colonial Indiaโ€™ and
Sudipto Chatterjeeโ€™s โ€˜The Colonial Staged: Theatre in colonial Calcuttaโ€™ have contributed
handsomely to the subject. Lata Singh in her, โ€˜Theatre in colonial India – play house of powerโ€™
has argued that Theatre in India is very significant because in a largely non-literate culture, while
the printing materials reached only amongst the educated elite, the subaltern voices can be
retrieved through these sort of oral cultural forms. In upholding the importance of theatre, Bhatia
while drawing a connection between the art of dramatical performances and politics of everyday
lives, has argued that Indian Theatre could often intervene in political debates and even could
change the course of politics.

The origin and development of Bengali Theatre has often been directly linked to the
growth of the Proscenium Theatres of the British by scholars, who argue that the Bengal theatre
was the result of colonial intervention in the early nineteenth century. But, a thorough scrutiny of
events that happened in Bengal, suggests that The Bengal Theatres have evolved over several
centuries, even before the advent of the British, and these Theatres were not created by any urban
court elite rather were developed by the people themselves. Amulya Charan Vidya Bhusan
opined that British Theatres evolved from the traditional โ€˜Jatraโ€™, coining the term โ€˜Bilati Jatraโ€™;
Furthermore, Sushil kumar Dey has argued that there is no doubt in the theory that Bengali
theatre and drama had utmost contribution from the western learned Bengalis but one should
remember that the traditional โ€˜Jatraโ€™ also had a very important role to play. Most of the
historians agree that the admixture of both the western and traditional โ€˜Jatraโ€™ basically by the
western educated Bengali elites, had contributed to the growth of Bengali Theatres in the
nineteenth century. Thus in order to understand the origin and development of Bengali Theatre
and Drama, it is important to trace its evolution right from the Indigenous Theatre heritage of
Bengal, which gradually started to follow the footsteps of the colonial Proscenium frame.

According to Bharat Muni, the author of โ€˜Natyashastraโ€™, Bengal never followed the
main-stream Aryanised Sanskrit Theatre tradition, rather followed the โ€˜Odhra Magadhiโ€™ style,
characterized by full dialogues and rhetoric. The different forms of traditional styles were:
Sanskrit Natyakala (for example, Gitagovinda by Jaidev), Katha Natya (a form of
performance where a single performer known as โ€˜Gayenโ€™ or โ€˜Kathakโ€™ narrates a verse or prose
with vocal and musical accompaniment of a group of four), Nat Geet (a form of performance
that makes use of character enactment and were accompanied by chorus/orchestra), Peoples
Humor or Farce (a form of comical tradition extended from the greater India to Bengal; for
example, Padmapuran by Narayan Dev and Chandimangal by Mukundulal), Hybrid Form (a
typical type of genre which did not incorporate role playing by performers but demanded attention; for example โ€˜Kabigaanโ€™ or โ€˜Patuagaanโ€™) and Puppetry (tales of gods and goddesses
were presented in this form; String Puppetry, Rod Puppetry, Glove Puppetry and Shadow
Puppetry are the different forms of Puppetry). According to Sukumar Sen, Bengal had โ€˜Shongโ€™
where a stock character like the fool satirized various social oddities and oppressions, especially
during public festivals, which gradually lost its value and was replaced by the โ€˜Panchaliโ€™.

The traditional Jatras were mainly taken out of myths and one of the distinctive features
of these Jatra was their use of drums as an important instrument, so that it could reach the people
in a great distance. One of the most leading proponents of Jatrapala, Gopal Uday, introduced
โ€˜Khemtaโ€™- a dance form where characters of both the gender danced together holding hands.
Later Sanskrit literary and dramatic commentators like Biswanath and Saradatanaya had cited
the existence of various minor types of plays known as the โ€˜Uparupakasโ€™. The different forms of
โ€˜Uparupakasโ€™ were: Kavya (a type of imitative dance having an interplay of dance and songs),
Chitra Ranga Kavya (a composition involving several ragas; for example, โ€˜Gitagovindaโ€™ by
Jaidev), Bhani (a kind of instrumental musical and dance performance) and Rasaka (a kind of
drama with a song and dance as in Nritya Natya). The Bengal Drama experienced a setback with
the Turkish conquest of Bengal in the early thirteenth century, which with the Vaishnava
Movement of Sri Chaitanya in the sixteenth century took a different course and inaugurated a
new and distinctive form of dance and drama.

The British Theatres formed a part of the cultural life of Bengal as early as 1757, when
Bengal came under the British control from Siraj-ud-daullah, the Nawab of Bengal. This was
mainly introduced because the British officials wanted to feel like home away from home. The
British theatre, โ€˜Old Play Houseโ€™ was one such Theatre for Europeans which was destroyed by
Siraj in 1756. According to Sudipto Chatterjee, Theatre became a ritual in the late eighteenth
century, when the Europeans became wealthy and started contributing to the Theatres for their
entertainment in a foreign land. Some of the prominent playhouses included the New Playhouse
or the Calcutta theatre, the Sans Souci Theatre and the Chowringhee theatre.

The Calcutta theatre (1775-1808) was patronized by leading members of Calcutta society
and was exclusively arranged for the British. The Chowringhee theatre (1813-1839), initially
known as Private Subscription Theatre was based on private donations and was supported by
Governor General Warren Hastings. At the time when the Sans Souci Theatre was
established, in 1839, with the patronage of Governor General Auckland, many affluent Indians
like Dwarakanath Tagore, Motilal Seal and Radhamadhav Banerjee, could enter these
Theatres. By the nineteenth century, European Theatres consolidated their position as a popular
activity and a number of Theatres had been established by that time. Among the smaller theatres
were the Wheeler Place Theatre (1797), Chandannagore Theatre (1808), Kidderpore
Theatre (1815) and DumDum Theatre (1817), which were all European in their approach and
outlook, made exclusively for the elite officials and the well off western educated natives.

HARMFUL EFFECTS OF SOCIAL MEDIA

Some effects of social media might not be dangerous but they can definitely prove to be harmful in your life. Some of the harmful effects of social media include:

Unhealthy Sleep Patterns

Not only are the dangerous effects of depression and anxiety are on the rise but also spending too much time on social media has shown effects of poor sleep which can be harmful. Various studies have shown that prolonged use of social media wrecks your sleep quality.

If you think that your sleep patterns have become abnormal and have managed to reduce productivity, decrease the amount of time you browse social media.

Do not let social media algorithms take away your precious sleep. When using your phone in bed at night, you’ll tell yourself that you will spend only five minutes checking your social media notifications, only to understand that an hour later you’re mindlessly scrolling through social media content you don’t even care about.

Now we are surrounded by unnatural lighting all day all night. Research has found that this can hinder the sleep hormone melatonin, which promotes sleep โ€“ and blue light, which is emitted by smartphone and laptop screens, is said to be the worst criminal. In other words, if you checking social media at night, youโ€™re directed towards a restless slumber.
Blue light has a part to play and is a link with sleep disturbances.

The bright lights of our devices can delay circadian rhythms. But they couldnโ€™t clarify whether social media causes disturbed sleep, or those who have interrupted sleep spend more time on social media.

One of the worst times to use social media is just before bed

General Addiction

Social media can be the most addictive thing on this planet. It has a compelling draw for many people that drives them to check it all the time without even thinking about it.
Try to remember the last time you went a whole day without checking any social media accounts.
At the end of the day, social media websites want to keep you scrolling for as long as possible so they can show you ads and earn money.
Just because you have been going overboard on social media use does not mean you certainly need to clear out all social networking platforms. However, if you think leaving social media is the best solution for you, it isn’t a wrong idea.

If social media addiction does exist, it would be a classified disorder. Studies conclude that social media addiction is a mental health difficulty that might require professional treatment. They found out that extreme usage was linked to a plethora of problems.

It may make you spend more money

Watch your wallet the next time youโ€™re scrolling through your social media feedsโ€”or, rather, put it under lock and key. According to a survey, 49 percent of millennials reported that social media influenced them to overspend on experiences.

Overeating

You may want to restrict your time scrolling through images of FOOD because it could lead to overeating. Looking at amazing images of mouthwatering food can makE you feel hungry, even when youโ€™re not.

It may sabotage real-life conversations

We can spend so much time talking to people over social mediaโ€”with slangs, likes, emoticons, and commentsโ€”that we may have a more complicated time engaging in conversation with people in real life. In-person conversations can be more disordered and less straight, however, they can also ultimately be more significant and bonding.

RELATIONSHIPS

If youโ€™ve ever been talking to a friend whoโ€™s pulled their phone out to scroll through Instagram, you might have wondered what social media is doing to relationships.
Even the minor nearness of a phone can hinder our interactions, especially when weโ€™re talking about something meaningful.

Those with a phone are usually less optimistic when recalling their interaction afterward, have less significant conversations, and feel less NEAR to their partner than others who do not use their phone.

The absenteeism of girl children from schools during their periods

According to research, 40% girls remain absent from their schools at the time of their menstruation. The statistics are even worse when we take only government schools into consideration. And these numbers are degrading day by day as the topic remains a big taboo in the parliament and in general households even till this date.

  1. Lack of awareness- The downfall of our literacy rate has been the root cause of this problem. It is very obvious that the households where the parents are illiterate engage in such practices. These belief systems are then passed on to the younger generations by them.
  2. Lack of proper hygiene products- More than 60% of women in India use cloth during their menstrual cycle. This is because either they donโ€™t have access to sanitary pads (and cannot afford them) or they are not properly aware of the ill effects that can be caused by using cloth.
  3. Lack of privacy and cleanliness in schools- Unfortunately, most people in the rural areas still consider menstruation as impure and hence, talking about menstrual hygiene is still a massive taboo there. Some parents donโ€™t send their daughters to school in the fear of invasion of her privacy while tackling her periods.
  4. Girls report substantial embarrassment and fear of teasing related to menstruation in the various interviews, and said that this, together with menstrual pain and lack of effective materials for menstrual hygiene management, led to their school absenteeism.

The school washrooms are also not considered a safe and clean space for the menstruating girls.

Although, the change that we can brought about would have been bigger if we would have gotten a chance to personally distribute these cups and raise awareness among the girls of the rural areas, but looking at the current scenario, there are other alternative techniques that we can adopt to make a change.

  1. Individual initiative and the chain following it- Through some appraisal, we can ask individuals to do their part towards our mission by telling them to talk to their house workers regarding the mentrual cups as they are a very affordable alternative to sanitary pads and that can make a big difference when combined as a whole. We can also request them to provide their female house workers with these cups, if possible,(since they donโ€™t cost much) and ask them to give it a try. The house workers can then educate other ladies of her community for the same.
  2. Spark a dialogue- The social media platform is the most powerful tool to raise an argument regarding an issue. But apart from raising awareness, we can launch petitions to make sanitary pads tax free and accessible to all.
  3. Busting the myths through our articles and posts- Lastly, we can educate people more about the stereotypes surrounding the usage of menstrual cups and the menstrual cycle in general.

Also, menstrual cups should be used with good care as, if mishandled, they can be the cause of many diseases down there. Therefore, people need to be advised about which type of cup is to be used and how to handle it in a way which prevents it from spreading infectious diseases.

Our main motive shall be to raise awareness as well as to experiment, and then, to spread more awareness about the latter. We shall also focus on finding better solutions which are viable for the issues which are being faced by the women of the rural areas in the long run. The aspiration should be grounded to making small changes from time to time if we really want to bring about a great revolution in this world one day!

Artificial Intelligence in Japan

Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is involved in our daily life in activities such as navigating or setting your alarm clock automatically on workdays. Artificial intelligence is one of the leading fields when it comes to development in technology globally. AI can be defined as technology that utilizes machine intelligence and human-thinking ability to process various data to make predictions, recommendations, and decisions. It is a group of several technologies, algorithms, and approaches. Since 2016, AI has brought a major shift in the perception of this technology that will become more accepted by people.

AI is growing at an exponential rate all around the globe, especially in Japan. Japan has been a secured a prominent position in the high-tech sector with AI as one of its crucial components. Japan wants to design the society of the future, by developing a long-term strategy that is linked with the new opportunities that high-tech developments provide. AI is a key technology that enables the analysis of huge amounts of data and translating it smoothly back to human users.

Japanโ€™s Artificial intelligence Sector

For the longest time, AI in Japan has focused mainly on robotics as sub-domains of artificial intelligence, building AI especially in the areas of technology in the field of medicine and industries.ย

According to the Nomura Research Institute, Artificial Intelligence in Japan is on its way to see a rapid surge, and by the year 2035, half of all jobs in Japan could be performed by AI robots. However, while the AI market in Japan has been focusing on robotics, other companies around the world have focused more on software development, which is an area of opportunity for overseas businesses looking to enter the AI market in Japan.

AI Ecosystem in Japan

It is not just one type of area, which is the major or dominating one in Japanโ€™s AI field but there is a collaboration of areas such as public, private, and research domains, and these all are connected. There are three types of areas: the private sector, public sector, and research facilities. These three groups are interlinked with each other and the separation among these groups is made in very schematic. Therefore, this division between three types of areas is just a simplification of the actual situation.ย

Innovative AI companies in Japan

There are more than 300 companies when it comes to the AI market in Japan. These including large competitive enterprises, small to mid-sized companies, and start-ups. Some of the major enterprises are:

NEC

Situated in Tokyo, NEC is a leading company in the integration of IT and network technologies that have been active in AI research since the 1980s. NEC provides sensors, computing, networking, and analysis that bring technological solutions to benefit society. Their active data solutions can predict, monitor, and solve challenges, responding intelligently to adverse events.ย

Abeja

This enterprise in Japan is a start-up that works with AI. It was founded in Tokyo in 2012, and they have supported AI implementation in over 150 companies, across diverse industries such as; manufacturing, infrastructure, logistics, and retail. They concentrate mainly on the areas of machine learning / deep learning, as well as retail store analysis.

Softbank Robotics

Softbank Robotics is the robotics branch of Softbank that develops humanoid robots for consumer and enterprise applications relevant to the fields of education, business, and personal use. Their offices are based in Tokyo, Paris, London, San Francisco, Boston, Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Hongkong, Singapore, Seoul, and Sydney. Currently, there are over 35,000 SoftBank Robotics robots used in more than 70 countries that offer new applications for retail, tourism, healthcare, finance, education, facilities management, and cleaning.ย

Japan has its way of making its society of the future by integrating AI in almost every aspect of living. The reason that it has started to grow at such a rate is that Japan’s domestic accommodating environment for developments in new AI techniques is based on co-creation between the Japanese government, the private sector, and of course their knowledge centres. AI is therefore vital in transforming the information society to the society of the future, also known in Japan as Society 5.0; “A human-centered society that balances economic advancement with the resolution of social problems by a system that highly integrates cyberspace and physical space.”

5. be provocative

Try not to expect that a scout will discover you. You should search out opportunities to be seen. Specialists and projecting directors won’t realize you exist except if you make yourself noticeable to them. This is tied in with being in the perfect spot at the perfect time. In the event that you don’t have openness to these kinds of reaches, you won’t ever have the option to make the diversion business a profession.

Can Life Be Perfect?

To start with, all of us battle all through life โ€” some more than others. Indeed, even the one individual in the world who battles the most un-actually faces huge difficulties โ€” a piercing battle โ€” on the grounds that they’re a human. It truly isn’t simple being usโ€ฆ you!

Similarly evident, most people are equipped for living in delighted harmony and a characteristic high โ€” feeling satisfied every second. That has been known since old occasions. Understanding this in some capacity, the vast majority of us long for the existence of which we can just dream.

Things being what they are, how would you get from one finish to the next, from the pain that accompanies being a human to the pinnacle life of which individuals are skilled? To help you start that excursion, we should start with this provocative inquiry: Can life be great?

The greater part of your masterminds will quickly shake your head and say, “obviously not. Nothing is great.” Or, “What does consummate even mean? It’s anything but quantifiable.”

Some of you more emotive perusers will say, “obviously, everything is simply amazing the manner in which it is.” You know, the “it’s all acceptable” people. (Obviously, frequently that is until it’s anything but.)

To respond to this significant inquiry, here are a couple of things you should know.

In the first place, individuals will in general compare ‘wonderful’ with ‘ideal.’ I believe they’re extraordinary. ‘Ideal’ to me implies that you have some biased vision. That you are envisioning an ideal, quintessential, clichรฉ best life or thing. Those thoughts generally get embedded into us from our youth and mainstream society, despite the fact that โ€” might I venture to say โ€” we think they are our own.

Second, we are all โ€” we all โ€” customized to look for optimal life, the best mate, youngsters, guardians, adolescence, get-away, future, work, character, outfit for the gatheringโ€ฆ you get the thought.

Do those things exist? No, really. They’re just ideal for you. A few things may approach: “Hello, I do look great” or “Amazing, my children are marvelous.” But this normally accompanies a: “indeed, however assuming just _ were a smidgen moreโ€ฆ .”

More often than not life, mates, youngsters, guardians, adolescence, the futureโ€ฆ .you, don’t approach your expectations and assumptions. We could all compose a book on ran expectations and assumptions. (That occurs, coincidentally, in any event, when things go “well” apparently. Consider the miserable existences of some rich and well-known individuals.)

All in all, there is no optimal anything. Nothing actually can meet the high bar your psyche can make. Which is the reason a large number of you would answer my inquiry with: “By no means, life can’t be great.” And as it were, you’d be correct.

Notwithstanding, ‘wonderful’ can mean something different. It can mean some inborn, worked-in quality that something has on the grounds that it exists. You can see this as the least demanding when you’re genuinely infatuated.

At the point when you’re enamored with an individual, spot or thing, like a child, a darling, or a house, that assists you with coming nearest to seeing its “flawlessness.” You love “your old house” not regardless of the way that it’s anything but current or enormous, but since you consider it to be as having appeal or warmth โ€” possibly stacked with recollections. At the point when you’re enamored, you like the way that your darling has somebody include others wouldn’t track down all that engaging. To you, it makes the person in question “charming.” The child’s crapping and peeing is cute when you’re infatuated with it (a condition normally saved for grandparents).

Things being what they are, I ask you once more, can life be perfect?

Indeed, in case you’re in love with it! That is the way to euphoric harmony and a characteristic high. To feeling satisfied every second.

THE DRIFT IN ROLE OF WOMEN

It all began in the garden of Eden. Adam and Eve broke the instruction of God, and thus began the human kind. Until then, man and woman were equals. Then somewhere in the middle, there was chaos and man somehow asserted his dominance over women.

The assorted pyramid of power still continues to persist in the world. There was a time when women was not even allowed of the house and was forced to look after the household chores. She was deemed to be unfit to any physical labor and was earmarked for only mental support for men. Maybe that is why she is still mostly the smart among the human kind, no offense to the men.

It has been psychologically proved that there needs to be at least 3 years of difference in age between man and woman in matrimony because woman tend to get mature at a rate faster than man, and has the capacity to handle the hurdles thrown at her.

Yet, she faces discrimination, she faces insults just because of her gender identity. It is an age of progression. There are not only two genders now. There is a whole new community called LGBTQIA+ where everyone is loved and accepted regardless of their gender and sexuality.

It is always the minority that gets bullied by the majority. Slowly, but surely things are changing. Women are slowly empowering the world and men are starting to accept them as equals. Indeed, because they have proved so. There are millions of women who work a full time job, along with running the house, take care of the kids, and yet maintain the femininity and remain the same.

Many people support woman empowerment. Of course, if there is support, there would be contradiction. Men stand with and against woman. So, the question rises why the difference of opinions among men? It dates back to their childhood. If they had an male dominant household, they would be automatically meant to believe that women are obviously the weaker sex. An equal household would have allowed the child to ponder that it is not the sex but the individual ability of a person that defines them.

The world is changing. At a fast rate too. Children of these days are aware that girls can do everything that a boy can do. The literary rate is now equal among boys and girls and girls have surpassed in some countries. Successful companies are run by women single handedly. The ratio of boys and girls in a classroom is in favor of the girls.

But then, why the discrimination? People from the backward areas are still uneducated on the policies taken by the government. More than that, women themselves fail to believe themselves weaker and tend to step back from hobbies and jobs that they like and wish to have. They only get into their โ€œMama Bearโ€ mode only when it comes to their children. But when it comes to themselves, women have always been good at putting otherโ€™s needs before their own.

It is high time that these women to have some inspiration and some sort of mentor to guide them to their life. It is not like all women should become an entrepreneur in a single day. It is enough for them to realize their potential within themselves the world will be a better place. Hoping for the best!

THE ROLE OF DREAM AND NIGHTMARE

Sleep is the single most effective thing we can do to rest our brain and physical health each day.We dream in sleep. Dreaming is a normal part of healthy sleep. Good sleep has been connected to better cognitive function and emotional health, and studies have also linked dreams to effective thinking, memory, and emotional processing.Dreams are stories and images that our minds create while we sleep. They can be entertaining, fun, romantic, disturbing, frightening, and sometimes bizarre. We may not remember dreaming, but everyone is thought to dream between 3 and 6 times per nightDreams are hallucinations that occur during certain stages of sleep. Theyโ€™re strongest during REM sleep, or the rapid eye movement stage, when you may be less likely to recall your dream. Much is known about the role of sleep in regulating our metabolism, blood pressure, brain function, and other aspects of health. But itโ€™s been harder for researchers to explain the role of dreams. When youโ€™re awake, your thoughts have a certain logic to them. When you sleep, your brain is still active, but your thoughts or dreams often make little or no sense. This may be because the emotional centers of the brain trigger dreams, rather than the logical regions.Though thereโ€™s no definitive proof, dreams are usually autobiographical thoughts based on your recent activities, conversations, or other issues in your life.It is thought that each dream lasts between 5 to 20 minutes. Our mind is not inventing faces โ€“ in our dreams, we see real faces of real people that we have seen during our life but may not know or remember. We have all seen hundreds of thousands of faces throughout our lives, so we have an endless supply of characters for our brain to utilize during our dreams.Around 95 percent of dreams are forgotten by the time a person gets out of bed.Dreaming can help you learn and develop long-term memories.Blind people dream more with other sensory components compared with sighted people. Both adults and children can experience bad dreams and nightmares. Results of several surveys across large population sets indicate that between 18% and 38% of people have experienced at least one precognitive dream and 70% have experienced dรฉjร  vu. The percentage of persons that believe precognitive dreaming is possible is even higher โ€“ ranging from 63% to 98%.
During a nightmare, the dreamer may experience a range of disturbing emotions, such as anger, guilt, sadness or depression. However, the most common feelings are fear and anxiety. The person usually wakes up at least once during the dream.Animals might not experience dreams in the same way as humans, however. In other words, they may not wake up, remember images, and attach a storyline to it.
Dreams and myths have striking parallels. They are different, of course, in that dreams are personal and raw products of the unconscious. Myths, on the other hand, may have dream backgrounds, but are the product of sometimes elaborate artistic narrative shaping by consciousness. They develop variants and historical associations with collectives, such as religious texts, rituals, literature, or national legends with political purposes, such as the national hero or goddess. But dreams and myths are both rooted in unconscious depths, the well of the soul, and thus have parallels. Dreaming is one of the most mysterious and exciting experiences in our lives, so it is only natural

Education

Formal education is commonly divided formally into such stages as preschool or kindergarten, primary school, secondary school and then college, university, or apprenticeship.
There are movements for education reforms, such as for improving quality and efficiency of education towards applicable relevance in the students’ lives and efficient problem solving in modern or future society at large or for evidence-based education methodologies. A right to education has been recognized by some governments and the United Nations.

Global initiatives aim at achieving the Sustainable Development Goal 4, which promotes quality education for all. In most regions, education is compulsory up to a certain age.

Education began in prehistory, as adults trained the young in the knowledge and skills deemed necessary in their society. In pre-literate societies, this was achieved orally and through imitation. Story-telling passed knowledge, values, and skills from one generation to the next. As cultures began to extend their knowledge beyond skills that could be readily learned through imitation, formal education developed. Schools existed in Egypt at the time of the Middle Kingdom.

Education is the process of facilitating learning, or the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, morals, beliefs, and habits. โ€ฆ Formal education is commonly divided formally into such stages as preschool or kindergarten, primary school, secondary school and then college, university, or apprenticeshipIt helps people become better citizens, get a better-paid job, shows the difference between good and bad.

Education shows us the importance of hard work and, at the same time, helps us grow and develop. Thus, we are able to shape a better society to live in by knowing and respecting rights, laws, and regulationsEducation is about learning skills and knowledge. It also means helping people to learn how to do things and support them to think about what they learn. It’s also important for educators to teach ways to find and use information. Education needs research to find out how to make it better

MPs question Twitter on its organisational structure, accountabilitySwati Mathur and Akhilesh Singh

NEW DELHI: There was a strong cross-party convergence at the meeting of the parliamentary standing committee on information technology on the need for Twitter to adhere to Indian laws even as members closely questioned the social media giant on its organisational structure and accountability in India.
Members of the committee, led by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, pinned down Twitter India officials on what they felt were diversionary answers to questions about whether the US company respected Indian laws and the decision-making powers of the India office. The discussion in the committee came in the wake of Twitter delaying appointing officials to address grievances under new rules issued by the government and a row over its decision to flag certain BJP handles as “manipulated media” for tweeting about Congress’s alleged “toolkit” to defame the government. BJP’s Nishikant Dubey asked why Twitter failed to tag as “manipulated media” the recent video of a Ghaziabad man alleging assault, despite a clarification from UP police that the victim had made false claims.

Dogs your friends forever

Dogs are the most loving, caring and loyal animals to be considered. They are so adorable that you can’t go away without petting them, they are always so playful and full of positivity, joy and naughtiness. They are the most reliable animals humans can keep a pet, there are many benefits of keeping a dog they can guard your house or property they will also save you when someone tries to attack you or harm you and there are many scientific benefits when you keep a dog, a dog can help you overcome any kind of mental trauma whether it is anxiety, depression or any other type of mental pressure. Dogs give so much love to their caretakers or parents that we can’t imagine they don’t even think twice before risking their lives for us. They spread love, joy and positivity wherever they go. Every dog will love you the same way but I don’t understand why people differentiate between dogs that are of a certain breed and have different looks and body size.

Every dog will be as good as other dogs but many people have different choices and interests. Many people have a busy lifestyle and can’t take too much care of their puppy and give them time. Usually, these type of people prefer an easy to maintain dogs and you also need to see what kind of weather you have around your living area because you can’t keep a breed like a Siberian husky in hot weather. After all, that breed is made for cold places and it would be torture for that dog to love in a hot temperature. Due to a lack of knowledge, people keep these dogs in a city that has a hot temperature and keep them indoors in the air conditioning. There are so many breeds of dogs but the most favourite dog of Indian people are Labradors and golden retrievers majority of people have them and also love them because they are some of the best dogs to keep in the family they are cool with kids and don’t have any kind of anger issues, don’t attack anyone unnecessarily, intelligent dogs they learn tricks very quickly and follow commands easily. You don’t have to worry about their grooming and care too much they are very easy to maintain dogs and they are so adorable and playful, labradors are always ready to play with you except when they are eating. Labradors love their food so much and they are always ready for eating. It doesn’t matter what’s the dish they just love eating and have food, there’s no fancy diet for Labrador they can eat usual dog food or homemade food.

American bullies have attracted many people nowadays they look so good and muscular that any dog lover will fall for this breed. It has the most spectacular body, face and muscles. They are an easily trainable and highly adaptive breed if trained well they will not do any kind of harm to anyone until you command them to do so. There are many confusions about this breed in India that they are not good with kids and they are high temperament, all these things can be changed and depends on how you train him and do his upbringing if your dog is socialized from the childhood then he will be nice with kids as well as other people.

Many breeders are playing with the lives of dogs and also destroying the breeds and also risking the lives of dogs. In these breeding centre, they treat female dogs as a breeding machine and when they are not fertile enough to make puppies they abandon them and also don’t perform proper medical tests before the breeding which results in puppies with poor genetics and some puppies are even born with some disabilities, disabled puppies will not sell in the market so they left them to die and don’t even give them food. The same thing is done with male dogs first they are used make puppies and when can’t make puppies for them and need care at their old age they abandon them and get rid of them. Breeders are doing these things because there is a lot of demand for puppies in the market right now and people are paying them money as much as they want. Everyone wants to make money, they are producing puppies in large numbers because they know they can easily sell them off. We can save dogs by adopting a dog from shelter homes and not buying them from a breeder by this we can save two lives and also these dogs will get a new home and family, next time when you want to have a dog,

Is University admission a issue ?

Recently, Government of India has announced the cancellation of exams for Class 10th and 12th. The burden to declare the result and choosing the best criteria in favor of every student is on Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE). The declaration of result is supposed to be before 30th July 2021. CBSE is under constant pressure from Government as well as students. Many students future is dependent on their result. It will become very challenging for them to choose a option which can be suitable for every student.

A right to education has been recognized by some governments and the United Nations.[a] Global initiatives aim at achieving the Sustainable Development Goal 4, which promotes quality education for all. … Formal education is commonly divided formally into such stages as preschool or kindergarten, primary school, secondary school and then college, university, or apprenticeshipIt helps people become better citizens, get a better-paid job, shows the difference between good and bad.

“CAUSES, TYPES AND, SYMPTOMS OF AN EATING DISORDER”

“CAUSES, TYPES AND, SYMPTOMS OF AN EATING DISORDER”

An eating disorder is directly associated with the eating habits of an individual. Due to the disturbance in eating habits, one can have a negative impact on health. Eating habits not only affect health but also affects all functions of the body to work properly. Even it affects the emotions of an individual. Eating disorders may affect the digestive system, bones, or may cause other diseases in the body.

Most of the time eating disorders will occur when one is starting a diet to lose weight or gain weight. Consequently, it will lead to a dangerous eating habit which in result causes an eating disorder. Eating disorders mostly develop in teens and youngsters. The eating disorder occurs due to a number of reasons. It also has some types and symptoms that will also be highlighted here.

TYPES
The most common types of eating disorders are Anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder. People who come in the category of Anorexia nervosa have fear to gain weight. Therefore, they avoid consuming an adequate amount of food. They always perceive that they are overweight but in the actual condition, they are underweight. So Anorexia causes weakness, infertility, heart rate problems or brain damage.

People who are suffering from Bulimia nervosa eating disorder may also assume that they are overweight. They involve their bodies in excessive exercise and the use of laxatives. They use laxatives medicines excessively because they remain unhappy with their body size and shape. As a result, they have to face the problem of dehydration.

It is observed that individuals who are suffering from Binge eating disorder may lose control over their eating habits. They have an intense feeling of distress and guilt. It may occur due to a heartbreak or nervous breakdown. Also, they do not follow the regular patterns of exercises from their daily routine habit.

CAUSES
Normally emotional people and people with sensitive digestive systems suffer from an eating disorder. It is because they have psychological problems. People with a lack of confidence and low self-esteem suffer from an eating disorder. Depressed and people who are facing problems in managing their relationships are also victims of an eating disorder.

The disorder is also a genetic issue that will transfer from generation to generation. Furthermore, people who remain in tension, stress, and depression may also face an eating disorder.

SYMPTOMS
Several symptoms have been observed in people who are suffering from eating disorders. Weight fluctuations in the body occur on a large scale. Further, people remain underweight due to the habit of vomiting after every meal. People suffering from eating disorders, preferably avoid having friends to socialize, avoid get-togethers and family functions.

An eating disorder should be not neglected as it has a disastrous impact on the overall health of the human body. If a person you are close to shows such symptoms of the eating disorder, then the person must be advised to visit the doctor for the proper medication because it is not curable at home. Medical help in this matter enables the individual to move on from his current depressed state of mind with proper medication and treatment.

“CUBAN EFFECTIVE MEDICINE FOR COVID-19”

“CUBAN EFFECTIVE MEDICINE FOR COVID-19”

Cuba has invented the most effective medicine for Covid-19 that is being used in China and the other 15 countries have also demanded this medicine even though America is objecting. This small country has successfully invented a medicine for the global pandemic and the whole world is rooting for them.

According to the reports, this medicine is highly effective in treating the coronavirus patients and this was the main reason behind China successfully containing the epidemic. Chinese authorities started using this medicine in January from the very start when this virus outbreak occurred in Wuhan city.

The moment the outbreak occurred by the end of the year 2019, the Chinese state got into action to contain its spread. Amongst the first 30 medicines chosen by the country to fight the virus was the Cuban anti-viral drug called Interferon Alfa-2B, which has been produced by a Cuban-Chinese joint venture in China since 2003. Cubans have offered to provide this medicine to any country interested as an anti-viral drug to fight against the disease that has exceeded 570,000 confirmed cases worldwide so far. This interferon technique was first used by Cuba in the 1980s which was quite successful in treating HIV, Hepatitis B and C, human papillomavirus and, other diseases. Then they used interferon Alpha-2B which was used to prevent the complication of diseases in patients who were near their deaths and fortunately the medicine did wonder. It interferes with viral multiplication within cells, and therefore it has been extensively used in the treatment of different types of viral outbreaks.

This medicine was first invented in 1981 in the dengue epidemic. Cuba was devastated by the dengue disease which was caused by mosquitoes. The virus triggered life-threatening dengue hemorrhagic fever. This epidemic affected nearly 340,000 Cubans with thousands of new cases being diagnosed every day. Almost 101 children were included in 180 total deaths.

This year after the virus outbreak the same medicine was found to even cure Covid-19. Cuban biotech specialist Dr. Luis Herrera Martรญnez explained the medicine by saying that โ€œits use prevents aggravation and complications in patients, reaching that stage that can ultimately result in death.โ€

Cubaโ€™s health sector was declining for years but after the reports of this medicine effectiveness emerged, Cuba got an extraordinarily positive response from across the world especially from different countriesโ€™ health sectors.

Cuba being a small country has something very useful to offer to the world. It can certainly help the world in these most difficult times. This medicine has been provided to some of the strong developed countries that asked Cuba. Pakistan is still deprived of this curing medicine and we are still looking for whatever remedies we got to treat the patients. US sanctions are also playing a major role in depriving different countries to buy this drug from Cuba.

Only time will tell whether Interferon Alfa 2B proves to be the wonder drug that will end this Covid-19 pandemic. So far, 26000 people from across the world have lost their lives and the numbers are exponentially increasing.

THE MOST DANGEROUS IMPACTS OF SOCIAL MEDIA

SOCIAL MEDIA HAS A DANGEROUS IMPACT ON PEOPLE. THESE CAN BE:

1. ANXIETY

General anxiety can be provoked by social media, the characteristics of which include: trouble sleeping, trouble concentrating, feelings of worry as well as feelings of restlessness. People who use more social media platforms can have huge levels of general anxiety symptoms. Comparing yourself to other people online is a sure shot way to develop anxiety, and social media has made this easier to happen.

However, it is not clear how social media causes this general anxiety. Results have been mixed and more research needs to be conducted on this.

2. DEPRESSION

Some studies have found a connection between depression and social media usage.

Depressive indications, such as blue moods and feelings of uselessness and hopelessness, were linked to the quality of online interactions. There is a threefold risk of depression and anxiety among people who used the most social media platforms. Reasons include cyber-bullying, having a biased view of other peopleโ€™s lives, and feeling like it is a waste to spend time on social media.

Your mood can be severely affected due to prolonged use of social media. In fact, habitual users are more likely to report poor mental health. One of the main reasons can be the fact that social media shows you the best part of everyone else’s lives, which you compare to the negatives in your own life.

The recommended amount of time you should spend on social networks is around half an hour per day. As with many other potential ills in life, it’s all about moderation.

3. CYBERBULLYING

While bullying is not a new concept, social media and technology have brought bullying to a new level. Bullying would be only possible to do face-to-face long before social media. However, now people easily bully people – anonymously as well as non-anonymously. Cyberbullying can have a deep impact on a person – negatively.

While social media makes it easy to meet new people and make friends, it also allows bullies to tear into others with a tiny effort. Bullies use the anonymity that social networks provide to gain people’s trust and then terrorize them in front of their peers. For example, they might create a fake profile and act kindly to a classmate, then later embarrass them online.

These online attacks often leave dark mental scars and even drive people to suicide in some cases. Since screens hide our faces, you can end up being brutal online without even realizing it.

4. SUICIDE

Social media can have an extremely negative impact on young minds and can drive them to take the worst action – leading them to even end their own life. Enough mental health education should be provided to strictly avoid this.

Suicide rates among teens have been growing rampantly and one of the main reasons can be social media.

5. LONELINESS

those who spend the most time on social media are likely to report experiencing social withdrawal, which can include a lack of a sense of social belonging, engagement with others and fulfilling relationships.

Spending more time on social media could replace face-to-face interaction, and can also make people feel excluded.

People who reduced their regular use of social media, restricting it to 30 minutes a day reached subdued levels of loneliness and felt better.

6. STRESS

People use social media to rant about everything. However, the downside to this is that our feeds often match an infinite stream of stress. Twitter was found to be a โ€œsignificant contributorโ€ to stress because it increases their awareness of other peopleโ€™s stress.

7. LOW SELF-ESTEEM

Womenโ€™s magazines have usually been the cause of low self-esteem. However, now, social media, with its filters and lighting and ingenious angles, has been taking over as a root cause for low self-esteem.

Social media sites can make more than half of users feel incompetent. Half of the young adults feel unattractive due to social media.

Viewing other peopleโ€™s selfies reduced people’s self-esteem because users compare themselves to photos of people looking most fortunate. However, itโ€™s not just selfies that have the potential to dent self-esteem. Women who spent more time on social media felt less happy and confident.

THERE ARE THREE SIDES TO SOCIAL MEDIA- GOOD, BAD & UGLY. USING IT WISELY WILL PREVENT THIS UGLY DANGEROUS SIDE OF SOCIAL MEDIA.

A Simple laptop buying guide

A comprehensive laptop buying guide

Setup Your Budget
First thing to do is to list down your requirements. You may now set up a budget accordingly. You can add additional features if a higher budget is available or you may have to put off some less necessary things from your list.
If you havenโ€™t decided on the necessary specifications for your laptop yet then do not worry as you will get some insight about it in this article and you can always visit youtube and get it explained in simple language.

In general, there are two kinds of specification sets. First one Being Personal Interest Based for light weight use and the second one Being Performance based either for high demanding work or gaming.

Interest based Specification Set
These specification sets totally depend upon your personal choice and preference.
laptop Type

There are different types of laptops available in the market characterized on the basis of their usage, screen sizes, and some other features. Below mentioned are some of them.

  1. Netbook: These are usually small and lightweight and portable laptops varying in screen size from 10 to 11 inches, therefore, they are the most power efficient laptops available in the market but a bit underpowered.
  2. Ultrabook: These are the slim, stylish and lightweight genre of Laptops. They have fairly high end configurations and are priced higher than conventional laptops and some may even have touchscreens. Quite common amongst travelers and advanced users. Although, if ultrabooks are a priority, MacBook offered by Apple can also be taken into consideration.
  3. Notebook : These are the most common types of laptops that are in use. They come in mid- and high-end configurations and are mostly scattered at all price ranges. These varieties of laptops have large hdd and RAM capacities and are built to meet entertainment as well as graphics-intensive requirements.

Screen Size : Now that topic of laptop category is clear, there may be a few screen sizes available for you. If you need a battery efficient device then it is recommended that you go with laptops having screen size 14 inches or less with preferable resolution of fhd. (recommended 15.6 inches)

Secondary Storage : This includes a Physical hdd and ssd for storing your personal data. Itโ€™s completely your choice which kind of storage you prefer and how much space you want, it all depends on your needs whether to go with more storage or more speed as ssd tends to cost a lot more than hdd for even half the quarter of storage that hdd offers except if you live in some rich country.
1. SSD: Solid State drive is a fast and durable data storage disk but way too expensive.
2. HDD: Hard Disk Drive on the other hand is the more commonly used and offers more storage at less price.

Touch Screen : Touch Screen features in Laptops is evolving just like the touch features in smartphones during the start of the touch revolution .Although there is not much to do with touch screens in laptops for a normal user and they also tend to be more expensive. If you still prefer for some specific reasons then options are quite limited.

Performance based Specification Set

  1. Processor
    Basics of Processor
The processor is the most important part of your computer which performs all the calculations. More powerful the processor, the faster the execution and load time. Power of the processor is calculated by its clock speed and number of its cores i.e. number of instructions executed per second and how many cores are there executing those instructions. For example a 2GHz processor means it can perform 2 billion instructions executed per second and hexa core means each core is performing those instructions separately which adds up to 12 billion instruction execution per second. When playing a high end game or running some heavy application software this is what matters the most.
    Intel or AMD?
There are two major companies that make processors for personal computers which go by the name Intel and AMD. At least 90% of the time users go for Intel processors and itโ€™s not because AMD is not good enough but itโ€™s because Intel processors are more easily available in laptop configs and intel is well known brand even amongst the lymans and most of the consumers have a satisfactory experience with Intelโ€™s current processor series i.e. i3, i5, i7. Although it would be recommended that at least now, you should go with amd latest gen processors as they provide high value for money products for all price segments and are also more power efficient but availability is always a major concern when it comes to amd.

i3 or i5 or 17 in case of intel?
All three processors from Intel are equally good in their own regards but designed to serve different purposes. i3 is for light to semi moderate work loads, i5 for moderate to light-heavy tasks and i7 for power users.

  1. Primary Memory (RAM)
Ram is what stores the temporary data while execution. RAM is faster than your secondary memory, therefore your processor needs the data in faster memory i.e for faster execution. If you intend to run heavy software then it is recommended to use larger RAM and faster ram and that too in dual channel i.e populated in two slots, it will speed up your computer. For general purpose, 8 GB RAM is considered as good. If you need more for video editing or some artistic work, you can either go for the laptop with higher RAM or can externally attach additional RAM.
  1. Graphics Processing Unit (GPU or Graphics Card)
Graphics processing unit, a specialized processor originally designed to accelerate graphics rendering. A powerful graphics card can render high resolution videos and graphics-intensive games easily, making them suitable for power users such as design or rendering professionals or gamers.
Light user should not look up laptops with discrete graphic unit, integrated graphics should do fine enough, as they can even handle occasional gaming sessions fine enough.
  1. Operating System
Operating system is another important factor that one must consider while buying the laptop. There are different kinds of operating systems available for you like 1. Windows available in almost all machines from discrete manufacturers 2. Chromebooks with chrome os 3. Macbook with macOS and other linux based operating systems, but high probability is that either you have been using or are familiar with some operating system, you should stick with it for obvious reasons unless you have some specifics to shift.

Too many Clothes!

Too many Clothes!

Around 3.5 million customers ordered clothes from Myntra within four days of a sale. No doubt we’re all obsessed with new outfits, but is it a necessity?

Shopping was never as easier as now. Few clicks on our devices and order arrives at our doorstep within a few days. We love shopping for clothes, especially at sales. Branded outfits have also started to fit in most of our budgets and this often gets us to buy what isn’t even needed. But why are clothes so affordable now? A common reason is cheap labor in developing countries. But another significant reason is the fabric.

The fabric which accounts for almost 60 per cent of fast fashion textiles manufactured every year is no other than polyester. It is strong, flexible, water resistant and its cheap which makes it a nearly perfect fabric for affordable clothing.

Polyester might seem best for textiles but it is a form of plastic. The lint released by polyester clothes eventually finds its way to our oceans. And the lint obtained from this fabric is nothing but micro-plastic. This plastic, once in ocean enters the food chain through phytoplankton, plankton, fishes and thus to human beings. It has been estimated that around the mid-twenty-first century there would be more plastic in oceans than fishes.

Textile industry generates more pollutants than aviation and shipping industries combined. The main reason behind this is the low cost of clothes which leads to companies to generate demand for more and more clothes by several methods. Fashion trends keep changing constantly, influencers are used to promote certain brands, advertisements make an impact on the minds of the costumers and thus the demand for more clothes continues.

So what could be a solution to the environmental degradation polyester textiles are causing? Cotton and other natural fabrics might help. But a single sweatshirt made of cotton consumes approximately 2700 liters of water and that undoes the benefits. The seemingly possible solution of this crisis is to go for new clothes only when we need them and not just wish to have a better wardrobe.

The Novavax vaccine could help immunization in centre and low- pay nations and realities behind it

Novavax has banded together with SII to supply 20 crore dosages of its immunization between September to December. The organization has been pushing for crisis authorization in a few nations as the US has effectively amassed a monstrous antibody keep money with Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson and Johnson candidates.India, which is in a gigantic inoculation drive to shield its populace from the lethal Covid, is soon prone to get another immunization from US-based Novavax. The Covishield is being utilized broadly in the Indian inoculation drive. Novavax’s CEO, said that the organization intends to apply for administrative freedom internationally and is focusing on center and low-pay nations that are confronting the brunt of Covid-19 because of the mash of immunizations.

NVX-CoV237, planned by the Maryland-based organization Novavax, is a recombinant protein immunization that utilizes spike proteins to show the body how to foster invulnerability against the novel Covid. Novavax analysts started by embedding a changed spike quality into baculovirus and contaminated moth cells. These tainted moth cells delivered spike proteins that combined to shape the spikes seen studded on the novel Covid’s surface. The scientists then, at that point collected the spike proteins from moth cells and gathered them into nano-particles that mirrored the atomic construction of the Covid-19 infection, however they didn’t recreate.

Once infused into the arm, the nanoparticles draw in the body’s invulnerability cells compelling them to react rapidly and firmly. The nanoparticles are then conveyed by safe cells known as antigen-introducing cells that tear separated the spike protein and show the sections on their surface. This actuates the body’s B cells that begin spilling out antibodies. The recently created antibodies ‘recollect’ the infection’s spike protein get enacted when a genuine infection attempts to contaminate the body.As and when Covid places its spike proteins on the cells, the antigen-introducing cells remember it and annihilate it.

The viability is comparable to equal up-and-comers from Pfizer and Moderna. It’s anything but an adequacy of 100% at forestalling moderate or serious infection, the New York Times detailed. The Phase III preliminaries were dispatched in the United Kingdom in September 2020, where it’s anything but an adequacy of 96% against the first Covid variation. The organization is likewise fostering an antibody against new variations of Covid-19. Novavax has now extended its clinical preliminary to incorporate youngsters as youthful as 12 years. With regards to shipping the antibody, Covavax offers an interesting benefit to Pfizer, Moderna or Indian immunizations like Covi Shield as it tends to be kept stable for as long as 90 days in a cooler, not at all like different antibodies that need to be kept in a frozen state. The organization has kept up that it’s anything but a creation objective of 150 million portions before the finish of the second from last quarter in 2021.

EFFECTS OF ONLINE GAMES ON CHILDREN.

๐Ÿ“Œincreased media advertisements, electronic stimuli and pressures from school society , children are suffering from the negative effects of game play.
๐Ÿ“ŒPlaying video games may help relieve stress temporarily
๐Ÿ“ŒStudy pressures lead to game playing and continued game playing leads to even more pressures in school, with the rapid growth of technology it is impossible for kids and teenagers to keep up and focus on their studies.
๐Ÿ“Œphysical changes in the brain that can lead to attention and behavior problems.
๐Ÿ“ŒScreen technologies cause high arousal which in turn activates the brain system
๐Ÿ“ŒThe world of digital technology in all realms of life isnโ€™t going away but if students donโ€™t learn how to concentrate and shut out distractions, research shows theyโ€™ll have much harder time succeeding in almost every area.
๐Ÿ“Œchildren are becoming less social with friends and family, lack community involvement due to excessive video game.

C++ Programming Language

CPP (also referred as C++) is a general-purpose & cross-platform programming language created by Bjarne Stroustrup in 1979, which was developed as an improved/enhanced and more powerful version of the C programming language which brings the OPPS (Object Oriented Programming) feature. It is a compiled language. We can also say that C++ is the superset language of C.

It is a middle-level language which facilitates us form programming drivers, kernels (low-level) to even higher-level applications like games, GUIโ€™s, desktop apps etc.

C++ supports all the syntax that is supported by C language and also it has its own syntax which is more simplified as compared to C. This Language was udated three major times in its history which was in 2011, 2014 and 2017 to C++11, C++14 and C++17.

For Example a ‘Hello World’ code for C++ programming language loolks like this:

#include <iostream>

using namespace std;

int main() {

  cout << “Hello World!”;

  return 0;

}

OUTPUT: Hello World!

The following are the features and important points to note about C++:

  • C++ is a simple language in a sense that programs can be broken down into logical units and parts, has a rich library support. Its STL library provides a rich variety of predefined functions which are very easy to implement as compared to other languages.
  • C++ programs compiled on a Operating System will not run on other Operating System. But it is independent of the machine configuration.
  • It is a mid-level language because we can do lower-level programming as well as higher level programming.
  • C++ has higher speed of execution as compared to any other language except C because C is the fastest executable language.
  • It can be used to develop applications that can be used on mutiple platforms.
  • It is one of the most important feature of any language. It helps C++ to make maintainable and extensible programs and also we can build large scale applications.
  • C++ provides us pointer support which aids users to directly manipulate storage address. It is very helpful in Low-level programming.
  • It has support of some awesome build-in libraries support like the STL (Standard Template Library), and also 3rd party library support like the boost libraries for fast development.
  • C++ is almost similar to Java and C#, which makes it easier for programmers to switch between languages.
  • Many different IDE have been developed for this language which includes a lot of features.
  • The programmers base of C++ is large, since it is a very old language. Hence, a user facing any problem in this language can get support or find problem to its solutuion easily.

Applications of the C++ Language:

  • Operating Systems and Systems Programming. Example: Linux kernel based Operating Systems.
  • Browsers. For Example: Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
  • Graphics Designing applications and Gaming engines like Photoshop, Unreal-Engine etc.
  • Database Engines like MySQL, MongoBD, Redis etc.
  • Cloud/Distributed Systems.

ASSERTIVENESS

Have you ever faced a situation where you wanted to say “no,” but you ended up saying “yes”? Very often, we say yes only to please others, even if we do not want to agree with what we are saying. This is because of a lack of assertiveness. Assertiveness is the ability to speak in a way that is honest and respectable. Some people communicate in a way that is too passive. Other people have a style that is too aggressive. An assertive style is a happy medium between these two.

BE ASSERTIVE

Assertive is a healthy way of communicating. To be assertive means to give an opinion or say how you feel. You can disagree respectfully and offer your ideas and suggestions. You can say ‘no’ without feeling guilty. People who speak assertively show that they believe in themselves. They are not timid, and they are not too pushy. They are confident. An assertive communication style can help us to do the thing we want to do. Being assertive shows, we respect ourselves and other people too.

How to improve assertive skills?

  1. Don’t let guilt get in the way.
  2. Practice saying no.
  3. Take responsibility for your actions.
  4. Communicate clearly.
  5. Understand and accept that the other person has the right to say no to your request.
  6. Feel free to take a chance.
  7. Be an attentive listener.
  8. Be aware of your own body language-make good eye contact.
  9. Use “I” language rather than “You” -(which can put people on defense).
  10. Avoid manipulation by other people.

There are numerous types of pollution round us. Here, we can speak greater at the forms of pollution.

Air pollution: it’s far every so often visible like we can see polluted air left by using the cars on the street due to its unique colour. In maximum instances, it isn’t always visible. INDO-PACIFIC ZONE: AN EMERGING POWER ZONE

The Indo-Pacific Zone, also known as the Indo-West Pacific or Indo-Pacific Asia, is a biogeographic region of Earth’s seas that includes the Indian Ocean’s tropical waters, the Western and Central Pacific Oceans, and the seas that connect them. Karl Haushofer, a German geopolitician, coined the phrase in 1920. However, Gurpreet Khurana was the first to utilize the phrase in current content. Since 2011, the term “Indo-Pacific” has become more popular in geopolitical discussions. The essence of this word was encapsulated in Shinzo Abe’s (then-Prime Minister of Japan) speech to the Indian Parliament in 2007, in which he referred to the confluence of the Indian and Pacific Oceans as “seas of freedom and prosperity.” Strategic analysts and high-level government/military leadership in Australia, Japan, and the United States have used the term often since roughly 2011.

With the United States’ growing involvement in Asia’s new growth sectors, the concept has gained traction. With the rising involvement of the US in the new growth areas of Asia, the idea of the Indo-Pacific economic corridor was conceptualized during the US India Strategic Dialogue of 2013. Indo-Pacific has also featured prominently in the top level US strategic documents such as National Security Strategy, the 2018 Nuclear Posture Review. In 2019, the US department published a document formalizing the concept of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific”.

  • COUNTRIES IN THE INDO-PACIFIC

The Indo-Pacific region is a geopolitical zone that encompasses two ocean basins: the Indian and Pacific Oceans. The Indo-Pacific is a 24-nation regional framework that stretches from the west coast of the United States to the west coast of India. Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Indonesia, Cambodia, India, Japan, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Singapore, and the United States are all key countries in the Indo-Pacific area.

  • ASIAN PIVOT THEORY

The thesis of the Asian Pivot was developed by US think tanks. The Asian Pivot theory was aimed primarily at China in order to maintain US hegemony. The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is seen as the economic arm of the theory. Experts, on the other hand, believe that striking TPP under US leadership will have far-reaching effects. In the midst of these changes, US President Donald Trump’s recent decision to reject the 12-member Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) came as a shock to the international community. The TPP’s implementation may have resulted in yearly revenue gains of $295 billion, with $78 billion in the United States alone. It might also unlock $1.9 trillion in potential advantages for the Asia-Pacific region through free trade. However, in recent months, the situation has altered. Global trade is in crisis, with growth slowing and protectionism on the rise as governments turn to greater non-tariff barriers, regulatory measures, and stricter standards, among other things.

Similarly, the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), a coalition of 21 Pacific Rim countries, seeks to promote regional free trade. The major goal of APEC is to tap into emerging countries’ potential while also taking advantage of developed countries’ progress in numerous fields. The increasing interdependence of these countries strives to ensure free trade and a strong economic collaboration among the members.

  • DIFFERENT SUPRANATIONAL ORGANISATION

South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation (SAARC), Indian-Ocean Rim Association (IORA), Mekong Ganga Cooperation (MGC), and Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation are some other supranational organizations where India has taken the lead in fostering regional cooperation (BIMSTEC),

The fundamental disadvantage of all of these organizations, however, is that their member countries have competing interests in other organizations. Furthermore, these organizations’ goals have been wrecked due to a lack of capable leadership. SAARC has been less effective as a result of India’s negative perception by other smaller countries and Pakistan’s obstructionist attitude. IORA, promoting open regionalism for strengthening economic cooperation and social development, is similarly only partially successful due to its diffused objectives.

  • US Backing the Littoral States Over South China Sea

The conflict in the South China Sea is the manifestation of cartographic expansion of China. The littoral states of the region have staked claim over islands rich in mineral resources in the South China sea China with its superior naval power have been able to brow-beat the neighboring countries. However, US has backed the littoral states indirectly and has supported their claims over the islands, similarly, the theory of String of Pearls given by experts has been an irritant for India. Based on the theory of String of Pearls China has been surrounding India by developing infrastructure in its surrounding ports in Gwadar (Pakistan), Humbantota (Sri Lanka), Sittwe (Myanmar). These are the manifestation of String of Pearls theory. Some areas of South-East Asia are infested with drug trafficking and human trafficking countries like, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, etc. are the hub of such crimes. This creates law and order and security issues in these areas.

  • 2020 Indo-Australian Agreement

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Australian counterpart Scott Morrison held a virtual summit on June 4, 2020, to strengthen their bilateral partnership. They signed nine pacts during this virtual summit, including one to elevate their relationship to a comprehensive strategic partnership for greater and deeper cooperation in a variety of areas, from trade to defense. The united proclamation on a shared vision was one of the summit’s primary features.

For the Indo-Pacific region’s maritime cooperation. In order to strengthen security ties between the four nations, India is considering including Australia in yearly naval drills it holds with the United States and Japan in the Indo-Pacific Zone.

The long-awaited agreement on military logistics sharing will significantly boost cooperation and give Indian warships and aircraft greater reach in the Pacific. The agreed vision for maritime cooperation sent a subtle but unambiguous message to Beijing about future requirements for ready operations. As a result, proper cooperation and crackdowns on these cartels are required for the development of this region in order to make the Indo-Pacific zone the Europe of the twentieth century.

The focus of the countries of the Indo-Pacific region is on connectivity, enhancing maritime security, counter terrorism, non-proliferation and cyber issues. All nations of the Indo-Pacific region always affirmed a shared commitment to maintain and strengthen a rule-based order in the Indo-Pacific in which all nations are sovereign, strong and prosperous.

NATURE OF BHAKTI IN NORTH AND SOUTH INDIA.

An important landmark in the cultural history of medieval India was the silent revolution in society brought about by a series of socio-religious reformers, a revolution known as the Bhakti Movement. The Bhakti Movement stressed on the mystic realization of God within oneself and the ultimate union of the individual with God, based on loving devotion on the part of the devotee (Bhakta). The seeds of the Sanskrit term โ€˜Bhaktiโ€™ can be traced back to both the Brahmanical and Buddhist traditions of ancient India as well as to the various scriptures such as the Vedas, Upanishads and
Gita, and had been in work in India long before the growth of Sufism in Islam and its arrival in India. With the worship of personal Gods โ€“ Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh โ€“ that grew in the post-Vedic age, the concept of Bhakti or personal devotion also grew. Historian Satish Chandra has noted two main aspects of Bhakti Movement. First is the path of devotion based on service to God, where the devotee throws himself completely at the grace of God which could be followed
without learning any religious text or following any religious ritual. This was the path of โ€˜prapattiโ€™ or surrender. The second was that of a bond based on pure love which emphasized on equality rather than service. Vishnu Purana sets an example of this kind of devotion where Prahald prays that he might be blessed with unwavering devotion to God wherever he is born.
Later this was interpreted with carnal love between a lover and his beloved, more specifically the love of Krishna with Radha and Gopis. The later aspect was emphasized by a series of saints who flourished in South India between the late 6th and 10th centuries.

Although the seeds of Bhakti can be found from the very beginning, it was not emphasized during the early part and it was for the first time in South India between the 6th and the 10th century that Bhakti emerged from a religious doctrine into a popular movement based on
religious equality. The movement which was headed and inaugurated by popular saint-poets reached its apex in the 10th century after which it gradually began to decline. However, it was refurnished as a philosophical and ideological movement by a series of scholars or โ€˜acharyasโ€™, beginning with Ramanuja in the 11th century. The establishment of the Sultanate of Delhi coincided with many widespread socio-religious movements in various parts of the country drawing upon the concepts of Bhakti. These movements have been perceived as revival of the older South Indian Bhakti movement, where each one of these later movements had a historical context of its own and its own peculiarities.

In South India, the spread of the concept of Bhakti among different sections of the society irrespective of caste and sex was initiated by the Saiva Nayanar saints and Vaisnava Alvar saints during the period between the 6th and the 10th centuries. โ€œThe saint-poets preached Bhakti in an intense emotional manner and tried to promote religious egalitarianism.โ€ The South Indian Bhakti saints criticized the Jains and Buddhists who enjoyed a privileged status at the courts of South Indian monarchs during that period. They simultaneously resisted the domination of the orthodox Brahmins by making Bhakti accessible to all without any caste or sex discrimination. Starting from the Tamil lands under Pallava rulers, Bhakti spread to different parts of south India, including the Pandya and Chera kingdoms. Their philosophy disregarded the austerities preached by the Jains and the Buddhists and preached personal devotion to God as the means of salvation. They preached their egalitarian approach which disregarded caste and gender, and carried their message of love and personal devotion to God to various parts of south India using local languages especially Tamil. Since these Alvars and Nayanars used local Tamil language instead of Sanskrit to enlighten people with their ideology, they got acceptance by
people easily. Sankaraโ€™s (8th-9th c.) โ€˜Advaitaโ€™ or โ€˜non-dualismโ€™ philosophy systemized Bhakti ideology of monotheist. He used dialectics to demolish Buddhist ideas, and to establish that the Vedas were the origin of knowledge. According to him, โ€œthe separation of God and the phenomenal world was due to ignorance, and the way to salvation was through the realization, by means of knowledge (jnan), that God and the created world was oneโ€ and the Vedas were the โ€œfountainhead of knowledgeโ€.

The South Indian Bhakti movement had some drawbacks. Although egalitarian in nature, it was integrated with the caste system and the lower castes continued to suffer from social disabilities. There was no elimination of Brahmanical rituals such as worship of idols, recitation of the Vedic mantras and pilgrimages to sacred places in spite of the predominant stress on Bhakti as the superior mode of worship. The Jains and Buddhists were its principal targets not the Brahmins. This may have been the reason why the Brahman dominated temples played an
important role in the growth of South Indian Bhakti movement. The ideological and social foundations of caste system were not challenged by the South Indian saint-poets. As a result, the Bhakti movement of the south in the long-run strengthened the caste system and ultimately after the movement reached its apex in the 10th century; it gradually incorporated within the
traditional Brahmanical religion.

Despite these constraints, the South Indian Bhakti movement succeeded in defending the cause of religious equality and therefore, the Brahmins had to accept the right of the low caste to preach, to have access to Bhakti as a mode of worship and to have access even to the Vedas. When the popularity of the Bhakti movement in South India was declining, the concept of Bhakti was defended at the philosophical level by some greatest Vaishnava Brahmin scholars
(acharyas) like Ramanuja (11th century) who provided philosophical justification for Bhakti. He tried to establish a careful balance between orthodox Brahmanism and popular Bhakti which was open to all. Although he did not support the idea of the lower castes having access to the Vedas but advocated Bhakti as a mode of worship accessible to all including the Sudras and even the outcastes. While propagating Bhakti, he did not observe caste distinctions and even tried to eradicate untouchability. He tried to link Bhakti with the tradition of Vedas and therefore it is said that, โ€œRamanuja was a bridge between the popular movement based on Bhakti, and total surrender to God (prapatti), and the upper caste movement based on Vedas.โ€ Nimbarka, a Telegu Brahman, is supposed to be the younger contemporary of Ramanuja, who spent most of his time in Vrindavana near Mathura in North India and believed in total devotion to Krishna and Radha. Another South Indian Vaishnavite Bhakti philosopher was Madhava who belonged to the 13th century. He believed that Bhakti provided Alternate Avenue of worship to the Sudras and his philosophy was based on the Bhagvat Purana. Two other prominent Vaishnava acharyas were Ramananda (late 14th and early 15th century) and Vallabha (late 15th and early 16th century).

The 13th to 15th century was marked by many popular socio-religious movements in North India, East India and Maharashtra, whose chief characteristics were the emphasis on Bhakti and religious equality. Almost all the Bhakti movements of the Sultanate period have
been related to one or the other South Indian Vaishnava acharya, for which many scholars believe that the Bhakti movements of the Sultanate period were a continuation of the older Bhakti movement as there existed philosophical and ideological links between the two either due to contact or diffusion. Thus it is believed that the ideas of Bhakti were carried to the north by the old Bhakti scholars and saints, among which were Namadeva and Ramananda. There are
many similarities between the older Bhakti tradition of South-India and various Bhakti movements of the Sultanate and Mughal periods. Like the South Indian Bhakti movement the Vaishnava Bhakti movements of North and Eastern India and Maharashtra exhibited egalitarian trends in the religious sphere. But they never denounced the caste system, the authority of Brahmanical scriptures and the Brahmanical privileges. Like the South Indian Bhakti, most of the Vaishnava movements of the later period were ultimately assimilated into the Brahmanical religion, though in the process of interaction, the latter itself sailed through many changes. โ€œBhakti movement was never a single movement except in the broad doctrinal sense of a
movement which laid emphasis on Bhakti and religious equality.โ€ Despite the similarities, the Bhakti movements of medieval India differed in many significant respects from the older South Indian Bhakti tradition and heterogeneity is noticed even among the Bhakti movements which flourished in medieval India, where each had its own regional identity and socio-historical and cultural contexts.

It is important to note that Bhakti in north India did not arise as the counterattack of Buddhism or Jainism like south Indian Bhakti movement. In north India Buddhism and Jainism lost its eminent position much earlier but the rise of Brahmanical rigidities surged the rise of
Bhakti in northern India. Earlier, the socio-political and religious authority in north India was mostly in the hands of Rajputs and Brahmans. After the Turkish conquest, the Brahmans had lost their power, prestige and wealth following the defeat of the Rajput rulers and hence broke the dominant โ€œRajput-Brahman Allianceโ€. As a result, movements such as the Nath Panthi
Movement challenging the caste system and the superiority of the Brahmans gained popularity.
These coincided with the Islamic ideas of equality and brotherhood preached by the Sufi saints and people were no longer satisfied with a religion that emphasized only on rituals and ceremonies, rather wanted a religion which could satisfy their reason and emotion. These
circumstances helped to popularize Bhakti movement in India during the 15th and 16th centuries. It has also been argued that Bhakti was a โ€œdefense mechanismโ€, to save Hindu society from the threat of posed to it by the Turkish rulers and the Islamic ideology. Thus, โ€œthe seeds scattered byโ€ the Bhakti saints โ€œfell on fertile soilโ€, since the medieval period had already made ground for a philosophical and religious revolution.

It has been suggested that the Bhakti movements of medieval India represented sentiments of the common people against feudal oppression. Therefore often these medieval Bhakti movements are considered as Indian counterpart of the Protestant Reformation in
Europe. However, we find nothing in the verses of the Bhakti saints to suggest that they represented the class interests of the peasants against the feudal state. The Vaishnava Bhakti sects were against the Brahmanical orthodoxies, but they never opposed the whole social or
religious system. Similarly, the Bhakti movement leaders did not give any alternative economic plan of living to the lower sect of the society, but they always tried to identify and associate themselves with the sufferings of the common and distressed people. Thus, the Bhakti movement cannot be regarded as Indian variant of European Protestant Reformation. But it should be remembered that the economic extraction and social exploitation of the Turkish rulers spread the
Bhakti movement rapidly among the artisans and peasant class of the 13th and 14th centuries.

The extraction of large agricultural surplus leading to enormous concentration of resources in the hands of the ruling class and the rise of demands of this class for manufactured goods and other necessaries leading to the introduction of many new techniques and crafts on a large scale, in turn led to the expansion of the class of urban artisans in the 13th and 14th centuries. The growing classes of urban artisans were attracted towards the monotheistic movement because of its egalitarian ideas since they were now dissatisfied with the low status accorded to them in traditional Brahmanical hierarchy. It has been suggested that some group of traders like the Khatris in the Punjab, who benefited directly from the growth of towns, urban
crafts production and expansion of markets, were also drawn into the movement for the same reason. Thus it can be said that โ€œthe popularity of the monotheistic movement was the result of the support it obtained from one or more of these different classes of the society.โ€

Among the saints who carried the message of Bhakti, Kabir and Nanak made a strong influence on people. Kabir belonged to a family of weavers (Julaha) who were indigenous converts to Islam. He spent greater part of his life in Banaras (Kashi). Kabir was strongly
influenced by Nath Panthis. He came in touch with both Hindu saints and Sufis and believed in human equality and unity of being. His verses were included in the Sikh scripture, the Adi Granth in large numbers than those of other monotheists. Kabirโ€™s poems were in vernacular
Hindi and they were transmitted by his followers. These poems are popularly known as Kabirโ€™s Doha. Raidas (or Ravidas) most probably belonged to the generation next to Kabirโ€™s and was a tanner by caste. He too lived in Banaras and was influenced by Kabirโ€™s ideas. Another Bhakti saint was Dhanna, a 15th century Jat peasant from Rajasthan. Some other prominent saints of the same period were Sen (a barber) and Pipa. Guru Nanak (1469-1539) preached his ideas much in the same way as Kabir and other monotheists, but due to various developments later his teachings led to the emergence of a mass religion called Sikhism. โ€œThe basic similarity of his teachings with those of Kabir and other saints and the basic ideological agreement between them makes him an integral part of the monotheistic movement.โ€ In his later life he travelled widely to preach his ideas and eventually settled in a place in Punjab now known as Dera Baba Nanak, where he attracted a large number of disciples.

Bhakti movement will remain incomplete without the mentioning of Sri Chaitanya and Mirabai. Chaitanya popularized Vaishnava Bhakti movement with his unconditional love and devotion to Krishna in Bengal, Orissa and other parts of India. Mirabai inspired many women of that period with her love and devotion to lord Krishna. The most significant feature of Bhakti
movement was that it was a monotheist movement in its nature, but was influenced by many other religious ideas specially Vaishnava, Nathpanthi and Sufism. It is important to state that Bhakti saints were very much connected with Sufism and their ideology of devotion and worship. It is evident that Sufi saints focused on the humanity and unconditional love, devotion towards god, their monotheist philosophy and unity of beingโ€™s ideology had thus influenced many Bhakti saints like Kabir, Nanak.

The teachings of all the saints associated with the monotheistic movement have certain common features giving the movement its basic unity. Most of the monotheists belonged to the low castes and were well aware about the existence of a unity of ideas among themselves and each otherโ€™s teachings and influences. โ€œIn their verses they mention each other and their
predecessors in such a way as to suggest a harmonious ideological affinity among them.โ€ They believed that there was only one way of establishing union with God, and that was the way of personally experienced Bhakti. This was also the way of the Vaishnava Bhakti saints, but there was one fundamental difference that they all have been called monotheists because they uncompromisingly believed in one God. God of Nanak was non-incarnate and formless (nirankar), eternal (akal) and ineffable (alakh). The monotheistic Bhakti was nirguna Bhakti and not saguna like that of the Vaishnavites who rather believed in various human incarnations of God. It can be said that the monotheists adopted the notion of Bhakti from the Vaishnava Bhakti tradition but gave it a nirguna orientation. The monotheists followed a path which didnโ€™t depend on both the dominant religions โ€“ Hinduism and Islam rather denied their allegiance to
either of them and criticized the superstitions and orthodox elements of both the religions. Some other features are that they preached in vernacular languages and travelled widely to propagate.

The discussion of Bhakti would be incomplete without mentioning its connection with Sufism. A prominent example of this argument is Nanakโ€™s introduction of โ€˜langarโ€™ or โ€˜free kitchenโ€™ where irrespective of gender and caste people used to eat and serve food together. Sufis always emphasized on prayers through music or โ€˜samaโ€™ and Sri Chaitanya also worshipped Krishna through โ€˜kirtanโ€™. These similarities are important to understand the characteristics of Bhakti movement. Bhakti not only united people by its philosophy but also through regional languages. In south India Bhakti saints used Tamil instead of Sanskrit. Mirabai wrote her bhajans in Brajabuli language, Hindi literature also flourished during this period. Many books were written in Bengali about Chaitanya which enriched Bengali literature.

In order to conclude we can say that Bhakti helped to reduce social and religious discrimination among people and showed them the path of love and brotherhood. Their simple philosophy of worshipping God without grandeur rituals opened a new religious path to distraught people of the society. Bhakti connected people through the philosophy of monotheism, brotherhood and humanity and revived Hinduism from the hands of orthodox Brahmans giving it a new spirit and essence. The spirit of mutual understanding and toleration developed due to the
Bhakti movement reflected in literature, music, arts and spiritual life. Bhakti had some limitations too. For example, the Brahmin successors of Tulsidas mainly stressed the traditional and ritualistic aspects of his teachings and suppressed the humanistic view which confirms the fact that Bhakti movements were not always successful in challenging the Brahmana monopoly over knowledge. Though Bhakti had some limitations, still it engaged people to the path of
peaceful coexistence. Like Sufism, Bhakti taught people humanity is the moral of all religions and worship comes from pureness of soul, love and devotion towards the Supreme Being.

INDIAN CINEMA AND ITS IMPACT ON SOCIETY

The Indian society has been actively developing in different fields including; business, industries, education, health as well as entertainment. With concern to the development for the entertainment purpose, the Indian Cinema has played a vital role. The emergence of Indian cinema is marked in the post-independence era. During the pre-independence times, only the films like, Dada Saheb Phalkeโ€™s Raja Harishchandra it was the first silent film and Alam Ara was the first talking film; these proved to be super hit films. Later, the movies are also made in different regional languages like, Bengali, Telegu, Tamil, Gujrati, Malayalam, Oria, etc.

The period between 1940s and 1960s was regarded as the golden age of Indian cinema, as many emotional, intellectual and thought-provoking films were produced during this time. These films gained a lot of popularity through the delivery of new and innovative ideas to the audience. Gradually, the films became an important part of the society, as it would reflect the social issues, real-life situations and general problems that were easily connectable and relatable for the audience and thus, grabbed their attention.

The policies change brought an evolution in the Film-making industry. The new economic changes of 1991 such as, liberation, globalization, etc. encouraged the entry of new technology in the nation. The introduction of Satellite Television in 1992 changed the Indian Cinema and transformed it into more liberal version, that was inclined towards the western culture and criminality etc. The Indian cinema now started representing the true picture of every event rather than the haze image.

POSITIVE VALUES OF THE CINEMA

The cinema is not only a mode of entrainment, it has transformed itself into a system that provides diverse benefits. For instance, it holds immense educative and informative values for the society. The mass of the audience is youngsters and the educational films can prove to be a great way of grooming the young minds. Thus, the cinema can help compassing the education through teaching various subjects through the movies. The basic subjects like History, Geography can be easily depicted through the movies, also, the moral duties, responsibilities, need for hygiene, civil sense, respect for women, etc. can also be convoyed through the picturization effect. This can prove to be a complete package of entrainment with education. ย

How Do Movies Impact The Youth? | Youth Ki Awaaz

The films and stories have a deep influence over the minds and activities of the people. It has the power to act as a reformative instrument and expose the evils prevailing in the society, such as human trafficking, domestic violence, corruption, poverty, social exclusion, other discriminatory activities, etc. Movies and the actors have changed the minds and actions of the people, they are the paths to set new trends that have direct impacts over the social lives of the people. The audience and fans make attempts to replicate their favorite artists and aspire to build a life like them.

Several movies are based upon the lives of the renowned personalities and prove to be a mode of motivation and inspiration for many people. Also, the filmmakers make movies from the writings or literary works. They picturized and visible aspect to these writings and at the same time spread the good literature values. It imparts the knowledge and understanding of different cultures, traditions and lives of the people from the past, present and the expected future. The movies are an amazing mode to learn about the history, civilization, practices, religions, evolution, issues and methods of the society.

NEGATIVE IMPACT OF THE CINEMA

However, every coin has two faces. The negativity is complementary to the positivity, the Indian cinema is marked by certain setbacks and flaws that can adversely affect the Indian Society as a whole. Given below are certain negative effects of the cinema:

  • In an attempt to expose the bitter reality, the Indian cinema has increasingly involving itself in the promotion of violence, nudity, racial discrimination, injustice, inequality, etc. The action films often involve violence at a large extent and influence the young minds in a negative and insensitive manner.
  • The highlight of the stereotype religious practices, conventional ideologies, gender roles, etc. creates a tension among the members of the same society. At times, certain scenes can be abusive against a particular group or community in the society. Thus, it infringes their basic rights and also hurt their sentiments.
  • Commercialization of the cinema has led to the loss of values and informativity. The Indian cinema is looked upon as a mode of profit by the filmmakers as well as the artists, thus, they are making no attempts to increase the extent of the content and are concerned only to the profitability.

Thus, there is a need to govern the activities of the cinema and review the movies made by them so that the basic purpose of the films is fulfilled. The audience should choose their content wisely and select the films that can brings positivity and knowledge in their lives rather than disturbance and negativity.

CHARITY

Charity is an act of kindness where a person who has more than enough of what he or she needs contributes a part of his or her surplus income for the fulfilment of the needs of those who are less capable.

Charity is possible in various forms. The broader meaning of charity is donating money to an organization; governmental and non- governmental for the fulfilment of the purpose for which it has been established. There are thousands and thousands of charitable organizations all around the globe; you just need to find out who deserves your help the most. There are charitable organizations for the handicapped and the disabled, for the poor, for educating the illiterate, for uplifting the status of woman in the society and many more. It is good if one can contribute by paying cash but if an individual is interested, he or she can join such charitable organizations as volunteers thus helping conducting the internal affairs of the organization.Charity begins at home.โ€ This is an old saying with a deep hidden meaning inside. This means that it is not enough to contribute good and money to the charitable organizations alone. If your own grandmother is lying on the bed and you do not serve her and instead are interested in helping a charitable organization, you surely do not understand the true meaning of charity.
Charity is not showing off. It means that you should help the people in need from the bottom of your heart. If your servant is in serious need of money or any other material goods, help him first; because there are many people who will come forward and help a charitable organization but the only source of income for your servant is you. Your servant cannot think of any source of income other than you because that individual works for you 24*7. Charity is definitely not your cup of tea if you are only interested in showing- off. Helping others is the biggest charity.Offering your seat to an elder person or a kid in a metro or bus is charity, carrying the shopping bag all by yourself instead of bothering your mother is charity, giving a good pay to your servants and people working under you, just a little more than they are capable of is charity.
Charity as a matter of fact is a very wide phenomenon that cannot be described in words. It is said that if you give someone something, you get ten times in return. But this saying is incomplete; the truth is that if you give someone something with a pure heart, expecting nothing in return, you will surely get more than ten times in return.A charity free from any selfish motives is charity in true sense of the term. You will find many people who are supporting charitable causes but very few among them give charity in true sense of the term. Such people are also good because even if they are supporting a charitable institution for securing name and fame, at least their money is used for a good cause. And the reality is allโ€™s well that ends well.

The truth about ‘Vampires’

We all are fascinated by vampires. We have seen them in movies, over TV serials ( vampire diaries)  and they are also the subject of countless Vampire books. But are they real or just fiction? while even most Vampire Admirers recognise vampires as fictional being, there was a time when people had real fears about falling prey to these creatures of the night. Long ago, before the days of the emotional debate on the merits of Team Edward vs Team Jacob, people devoted a lot of time and energy to keep their lives safe from these bloodsuckers. These creatures of the night are still having a very real impact on people’s lives today.

This 700-year-old skeleton from Sozopol, Bulgaria, was found with its teeth removed and stabbed through the chest with an iron rod. Scholars suspect that townspeople did this to ward off vampiresโ€”a very real fear in Europe for hundreds of years.

Vampires are evil beings who roam the world at night searching for people whose blood they feed upon. Most people associate vampires with Dracula, the legendary, blood-sucking subject of Bram stalkers Epic novel, Dracula. But the history of vampires began long before Stoker was born. There are many characteristics of vampires but the main characteristic of Vampires is they drink human blood, drain their victim’s body using their sharp fangs, killing them and turning them into a vampire. In general, vampires hunt during the night because it is believed that sunlight weakens their powers. They may have the ability to morph into a bat or a wolf. Vampires have super strength and often have hypnotics sensual effect on their victims. People believe that they can’t see themselves in the mirror and cast no shadow. (obviously not according to the Vampire Diaries).

The Myth

Every culture has its own type of Vampire myth, it’s hard to find the exact time, the idea of Vampire was created but to get to the origin of the modern Vampire legend we have to go back to 15 century Romania to Vlad Dracula also known as ‘Vlad the Impaler’. Vlad Dracula was born in Transylvania, Romania he ruled Walachia, Romania, off and on from 1456-1462. Some historians describe him as โ€” yet brutally cruel ruler who valiantly fought off the Ottoman Empire. According to legend, Vlad Dracula enjoyed dining next to his dying victims and dipped his bread in their blood. The truth of these tails is unknown. While Vlad was a killer, he wasn’t a vampire, but he did inspire author Bram Stoker to name his famous vampire character ‘Count Dracula’ In his 1897 book. But, according to Dracula expert Elizabeth Miller, stoker didn’t base “count Dracula’s” life on Vlad Dracula. Nonetheless, the similarities between the two Draculas are intriguing. Throughout the centuries there have been several “Vampire scares” often tried to widespread disease like the European Plague or misunderstood physical deformities. Eric Nuzum in his book posits that people’s belief in vampires helped them define things they didn’t understand and couldn’t explainโ€”namely death and disease.

Are vampires real?

These legends arose from a misunderstanding of how bodies deteriorate. As a corpse’s skin shrinks, its teeth and fingernails can appear to have grown longer. And as internal organs break down, a dark purge fluid can leak out of the nose and mouth. People unfamiliar with this process would interpret this fluid to be blood and suspect that the corpse had been drinking it from the living. The bloody corpse wasn’t the only cause for suspicion. Before people understood how certain diseases spread they sometimes imagine that vampires are behind the unseen forces slowly ravishing their communities. Mark Collins Jenkins writes in his book that trying to kill vampires or prevent them from feeding was a way for people to feel as though they had some control over disease because of this vampires scare tended to coincide with outbreaks of plague. In 2006 archaeologist unearthed a 16-century skull in Venice, Italy that had been buried among plague victims with a Brick in his mouth. the brick was likely a burial tactic to prevent Italian vampires or witches from leaving the grave to eat people. By the 17th and 18th century tales of vampires continue to flourish in Southern Eastern European Nations pop bandit declare that vampires were malicious functions of human fantasy and Hapsburg ruler Maria Theresa condemned Vampire believes as superstition and fraud. Still, anti-vampire efforts continued and perhaps most surprisingly all one of the last big Vampire scares occurred in the 19th century New England two centuries after the infamous Salem witch trials.

An incident!

Mercy was a real person. She lived in Exeter,ย Rhode Islandย and was the daughter of George Brown, a farmer.

After George lost many family members, including Mercy, in the late 1800s to tuberculosis, his community used Mercy as a scapegoat to explain their deaths. It was common at that time to blame several deaths in one family on the โ€œundead.โ€ The bodies of each dead family member were often exhumed and searched for signs of vampirism.

When Mercyโ€™s body was exhumed and didnโ€™t display severe decay (not surprising, since her body was placed in an above-ground vault during a New England winter), the townspeople accused her of being a vampire and making her family sick from her icy grave. They cut out her heart, burned it, then fed the ashes to her sick brother. Perhaps not surprisingly, he died shortly thereafter.

The real vampires

people who call themselves vampires do exist. Theyโ€™re normal-seeming people who drink small amounts of blood in a misguided effort to stay healthy.

Communities of self-identified vampires can be found on the Internet and in cities and towns around the world. To avoid rekindling vampire superstitions, most modern vampires keep to themselves and typically conduct their โ€œfeedingโ€ ritualsโ€”which include drinking the blood of willing donorsโ€”in private.

Some vampires donโ€™t ingest human blood but claim to feed off the energy of others. Many state that if they donโ€™t feed regularly, they become agitated or depressed.

Vampires became mainstream after Dracula was published. Since then, Count Draculaโ€™s legendary persona has been the topic of many films, books and television shows.

smile always have a meaning behind it

Smile is the most beautiful expression a human ever has as a boon in their life, but does smile always is that simple. NO certainly not every smile has different meaning behind it. sometimes happiness, sometimes sarcastic , sometimes humorous, sometimes sadness but certainly that depends the person who is experiencing the situation. but we should always smile never know who is expecting us to be smiling

Words had the command to heart

Words held much more power than anything in this world ,they can connect to a person as soon as they are uttered. The words such connection as they spoke with sincerity and held a sense of security.

words can bore into your soul as they are the only things that can connect to both heart and mind. Truth to be told actions speaks louder than words but words has such impact on a person that that can be completely out of control

Just follow your passion

Success is best defined as the achievement of the desired goal. More than the money or the fame, most people try to combine their passion with their work and earn a good income. Money is less of a profit, the more money you make, making it an elusive definition of success.

For most people, success means being proud of your accomplishments and be part of something that matters. This is especially the case when it comes to the content of the work. In fact, if a person chooses to follow their passion, there’s a good chance that the money and the traditional, the success of any of them, because of the time and effort invested in the project, they were taken with great enthusiasm and zeal.

Why Passion Is So Important
If you have the enthusiasm and passion of people, have a tendency to be more resilient in the face of obstacles. People who are passionate about their work, rather than just “money”, have a tendency to have a more positive outlook on things, and they are able to overcome difficulties in solving any problems.

How many times have you been told, ” follow your passion?” This is the message that is displayed in all it’s the end of the speeches of job opportunities. We can even say that to us. Then, recently, a group of Columbia Business School, MBA students, and more than 90% of them are considered to be “in the pursuit of your passions’ as the most important goal for future work.

However, according to a recent Deloitte survey of 3,000 full-time U.s. workers, only 20% of them said that they are really passionate about their work. The research that I and others have done, it appears that many, if not most, of us do not know how to realize it, it is our passion, so we don’t do that. How to solve this jigsaw puzzle? A passion to research, it suggests that we need to understand three important points: (1) the passion isn’t something that we can find, but it’s something that needs to be developed; or (2) it is hard to be aware of your passion for it, especially if it’s been weakened over time; and (3) passion, it can also deceive ourselves, and that is why it is very important to define the boundaries.

Don’t expect to Find Your Passion
One of the most common misconceptions that people have a passion for it that it’s impossible, or do you have a passion for something, or you don’t have one. The problem of a belief in the limits of your mind with passion as we discover them or not. As a result, it may be that we are trying many different professions, and in the search for a suitable role, which is one of passion, and we do not take into account the fact that it often takes time to develop a love and passion for the work, as well as the skills, confidence, and relationships that allow a person to have experience and a passion for the work.

In fact, research has shown that the belief in the immutability of the passion, you can make sure that people are less likely to find new topics, and to explore the potential of new sources of passion. It also allows the people to new activities, and more quickly, as it seems to be difficult.

In order to satisfy your passion to challenge your assumption that a passion is something to be discovered. Instead of focusing on developing the passion. For example, you may want the design of your job, so you’ll have more time to devote to the study of the roles you are most interested in (or just to arouse your interest), and to work with people that inspire you. It also helps you to get to know your colleagues better be it, what are they passionate about and how do they feel about their work. This can lead to opportunities in order to help each other out, with the realization of their interests. Finally, you don’t need to pursue a passion in the work that you do. If your job doesn’t allow you to pursue your passion or if you simply don’t want to have to do it at your place of work, you can take the time and the space to do what you want without any work.

Focus on What is important to you, is not it..

Film Review- Chak De India

When the whole country is obsessed with only cricket as a sports, a movie on hockey? that too, a women’s hockey. It seemed the producer and the director must be out of their mind. The movie Chak De India may be a motivational effort to redeem the lost glory of Indian Hockey.

The plot is about an ex-captain of the Indian Hockey team, who has returned as a coach to the Indian Women’s National team and fights to make India a powerful team. In the movie, Shahrukh Khan as Kabir Khan, the former captain of Indian Men’s hockey team has been accused as a traitor, for losing the final against Pakistan in the world cup. He sees as an opportunity to redeem himself from the disgrace.

Kabir Khan always believed that it is not that we can’t win but it’s just that we have never believed we can.

The film has all the right elements mixed- ironical comedy, seriousness and bubbles of emotions.

INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION: IMPACTS AND SIGNIFICANCE

The term of Industrial Revolution is normally reserved as a set of events that occurred in Britain roughly from 1760 to 1830. The Industrial Revolution brought about a โ€œmodernโ€ economy in which technological progress did not just happen from time to time in isolated sectors but became a sustained and continuous process, resulting eventually in unprecedented economic growth and increases in living standards in much of the world. Its effects led to a full reformation of production, consumption, locational patterns, international relations, demographic behavior and almost every aspect of the human condition.

The INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION was a period of time that sparked the beginning of a major change in the MODERN SOCIETY from OLD DAYS of FARMING and AGRICULTURE to a shift in URBANISATION and MODERN MACHINE manufacturing. Prior to the INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION, most of the manufacturing was done in people’s houses using hand tools and other basic machines. However, with the newly advanced machines and factories, the mass producing of products would soon be more efficient and manufactured significantly faster. Not only were MACHINES and FACTORIES an essential part of the REVOLUTION, the DEVELOPMENT of IRON and TEXTILE INDUSTRIES along with the STEAM ENGINE allowed for improvement in transportation, Communication, and Banking. The INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION also brought forth many job opportunities and allowed people to start a new life in the cities. As, many people before the INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION, lived in small rural communities where their activities and work were based on FARMING and AGRICULTURE.

One of the famous inventions of the Industrial Revolution was the steam engine. The first steam engine prototype was built by a Frenchman named Denis Papin, but the first useful atmospheric steam engine was built in 1712 by Thomas Newcomen. Newcomen engines which noisy and voracious in their fuel use was served mostly as pumps. The conversion of steam engine unto a source of industrial power was the Scottish inventor James Watt who introduced improvements to the steam engine. Watt turned steam power from an atmospheric pump to a true steam engine. A high-pressure engine was then developed which provided increased power from lighter and smaller engines counterparts and thus ideal for transportation. After years of experimentation, they were successfully adapted to locomotives by Robert and George Stephenson in 1825.

A second industry often acknowledged with the most dynamic aspects of the technology of this time is textiles. By the middle of the eighteenth century, cotton was a small and rather unimportant sideshow in the British textile industry, famous for its woolens. Cottonโ€™s growth during the Industrial Revolution was truly amazing. Value added in cotton went from less than half a million pounds in 1760 to around 25 million in the mid- 1820s. It is no wonder that some economic historians have thought of this industry as the โ€œleading sectorโ€ in the Industrial Revolution. The reason for this success was cottonโ€™s physical characteristics. It lent itself uniquely to mechanization and mass production and produced a good that was of even quality, attractive and above all inexpensive.

A third area in which the Industrial Revolution achieved major advances was iron making. One important innovation was the use of new fuels in the smelting of iron core in blast furnaces. The replacement of charcoal by coke (purified coal) in blast furnaces remedied the costly need to access remote forest areas. Blast furnaces became bigger, hotter and more efficient as more powerful machinery was used to blow air into furnaces.

The origins OF THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION took place in BRITAIN because it had great deposits of IRON and COAL which proved essential for INDUSTRIALIZATION, because BRITAIN was powerful and POLITICALLY stable.

The Second industrial revolution is known as the Technological Revolution and it was followed on First Industrial Revolution. The second revolution was started from 1870 until 1960 and it was developed rapidly in Western Europe country, United States and Japan. During that period, electricity became the primary source of power for factories and they used the power of electricity to develop different types of technology. The power of electricity caused the factory can produce the large amount of goods in the shortest time and lower cost. The second industrial revolution, it was more force on the steels, railroads, electricity and chemical development.

WATER RESOURCES AND CRISIS

Jal Jeevan Mission is envisioned to provide safe and adequate drinking water through individual household tap connections by 2024 to all households in rural India. The programme will also implement source sustainability measures as mandatory elements, such as recharge and reuse through grey water management, water conservation, rain water harvesting. The Jal Jeevan Mission will be based on a community approach to water and will include extensive Information, Education and communication as a key component of the mission. Jal Jeevan Mission looks to create a jan andolan for water, thereby making it everyoneโ€™s priority. The water resource is very important for our life. The living things in this world all need water to exist in this world. The water is more precious we can live without food but we cannot live without the water. As everyone needs water there is no storage of water. Many people are suffering without water for example our area has many people but a single person uses at least 15 liters if a family and if 1000 people uses daily then calculate it for 365 days some lakhs it comes. Many people are fighting for water. They will fill at least 3to 4 pots for five to six days they must survive for this they must get up early and fight with neighbors for water only half of the people will fill others will be waiting .whether heโ€™s opening the water sharply at 6:00 or not he will close it by 10:00. How poor now the people are in their house they will not waste water at all each one in the house know the pain of water because of that they will not waste the water at all. We the middle class and rich people are wasting more. We are not planting trees in the land because it will not be nice we itself think and including the garden area we are make it as a house. The hunt for water in south India’s main city has become an increasingly desperate obsession for its 10 million residents after months with virtually no rain. The bustling capital of Tamil Nadu state usually receives 825 million liters of water a day, but authorities are currently only able to supply 60 per cent of that. This water crisis would not be cured in a month or year. It will take at least 25 years to sustain this water facility and after many years they can get water without any issues because the same level of water will not maintain it will reducing it is the hardest part in our life. Already they have told that 17 districts in Tamil Nadu will be in drought soon the people must not suffer. We should cultivate plants and trees to get rain. To bring back the water resources this the only way and the final because here after we could not ask people to use water only 20 liters a day .we can just tell them not to waste the water for soft drinks they are taking lakhs and lakhs liter of water for it . So this is the last way plant trees in the land because the nature has beautiful thing in it what we do it will return us abundantly if we plant trees the rain will come and it will observe the water and evaporates it to clouds and again it will come as rain if we cut the trees it will not evaporate to clouds and it will not rain it will only observe the rain. This is the part in our life without knowingly we have cut down many trees .hereafter let us try to plant trees.

Maoist insurgency is a national security issue. It has plagued India since 1967 when the rebellion in Naxalbari of West Bengal erupted under the leadership of Kanu Sanyal and Jagan Santhal. Soon the flames of rebellion engulfed eastern India especially the states today infamous as red corridor. These include Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.

Ideology
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Maoist ideology can be summed up as-
โ€˜Maoism is a form of communism they’ve lapped by Mao Tse Tung. It is a doctoring to capture state pass through a combination of armed insurgency, mass mobilisation and strategic alliances. The Maoists also used propaganda and disinformation against state institutions as other components of their insurgency doctrine we do it Mao called this process, the protracted Peopleโ€™s War, where the emphasis is on military line to capture power.โ€™

Reasons for spread
The main reasons behind the spread of Naxalism were the low level of socio-economic development. The districts affected by Naxalism are one the worst performing regions in various developmental indices of India. Poverty and inequality are rampant. Education, hospitals, roads and other basic infrastructure are not well-developed. This coupled with tribal discontent lead to widespread anguish among the people. The forests and the mineral-rich plateau are exploited threatening the livelihoods of the tribal population. The ideology could be metastasised among people who were left behind in the process of progress. Their minds can be manipulated easily since they lack a reliable source of income. They take arms to fight against the system.
The increasing incidences of Violence is a cause of concern. The latest big attack was observed in April this year. A joint operation of local police and central police force ended with the tragic death of 23 security personnel in Bastar. The failure of the operation highlighted major loopholes in the strategic preparedness as well as the intelligence system.

How to resolve the tension
The government has taken a few steps in this direction. They include the following
โ€” Operation Green hunt initiated in 2010 brought down the number of districts under the clutches of Naxalism from 223 to 30.
โ€” Aspirational Districts Program (ADP) which was recently recognised by UNDP as a model to tackle regional disparities, is another move by the government to solve the developmental problem of these districts and uplift them.
โ€” National policy and action plan to address left-wing extremism was formulated to address the issue.
โ€” SAMADHAN doctrine evolved as a result government efforts. It is an acronym.
S- Smart leadership
A- Aggressive strategy
M- Motivation and training
A- Actionable intelligence
D- Dashboard based key performance indicators and key result areas
H- Harnessing technology
A- Action plan for each theatre
N- No access to financing

Lastly, the experts are of the opinion that patience in getting the results is important. Any tactic to resolve left wing extremism will take time. It will be a slow process and even small acorns to win over the people will fetch results. For example, Telanganaโ€™s Guthi Kiya tribal region saw a reduced attendance of people in secret meetings called by the Maoists. This was so because the local police distributed water filter and television sets to the people who are busy using these facilities. This can weaker the influence of Maoists. Likewise, other small actions which can open the doors to the world outside the tribes can help in improving the situation by making people aspirational.

Different Environment, Same Approach

Fosbury’s story offers two lessons that extend far beyond the world of high jumping.

First, his success came during a period when the environment of the sport had changed, but everyone was still following old patterns of behavior. Even though the switch to foam landing pits allowed athletes to experiment with a wider range of jumping techniques, everyone continued to do the same old thing until Fosbury came along.

This is exactly why you see startups completely disrupt established industries. Take the transportation companyย Uber, for example. Taxis were the standard way to get around town for decades. At some point, mobile phones and constant internet access became the norm in our daily lives, but everyone continued to flag down taxis and pay for them the old-fashioned way. The environment had changed, but the behavior stayed the same.

Then one day Uber came along and said, โ€œUse your phone to request a car, we’ll pick you up wherever you are at, and you can easily pay through your phone.โ€ Today, Uber is the biggest taxi company in the world.
